We don't,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:41):
You might need, you might need a
whole, you might need a wholebag after this conversation, you
know?
You know, we have no time limit

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:50):
we have no time.
No, no.
Because the last time we talkedfor an hour and a half, I think
the first

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:54):
you.
Right?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:55):
an hour and a half.
So we, we, we, we, and plus wehave more to talk about now.
So the

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (02:01):
Yeah.
Okay.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (02:02):
is endless.
So I'm excited for this.
let's.
I was talking with Aaron theother night and I was trying to
think of a good question thatwould kind of be like a good
icebreaker question for mypodcast.
And I was just like, you knowwhat?
I, cause I thought about myanswer and I was like, this is a
good one.
So you won the lottery.

(02:24):
And you didn't want to tellanybody.
What would be the first signthat something was up?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (02:34):
Dang, that's a good one.
Uh.
Probably wouldn't either.
If I had the money, I probablywould buy something that
somebody would probably be like, why she buy that?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (02:47):
Uh

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (02:47):
don't know what it'll be.
I'm going to go out and buy someland out the blue, like a piece
of land out the blue.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (02:52):
Okay.
Okay.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (02:53):
If I didn't buy anything, I'd
probably just go ghost.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (02:56):
You

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05 (02:57):
wouldn't, you wouldn't, yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (02:59):
you know

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (02:59):
just go ghost.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:00):
on Tonal would see Mo at three,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (03:04):
You right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:05):
We'd be like, that, that would be the

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (03:07):
yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:08):
That

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (03:08):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:09):
that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (03:10):
Oh,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:10):
MIA at 2 AM in the morning.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (03:13):
you're right.
That would that would be a goodsign That would that would get
the whole tonic community likeokay the first day she's not on
there but back to back daysNothing.
Yeah that

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:25):
Bow would be like, I have, I have
personal tonal trainers.
Now I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (03:29):
You Right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:29):
got the dough.
I don't, I got this.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (03:32):
They, they will personally come to me
at this point.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:36):
That is a good, that, that would be,
that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (03:39):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:39):
a wrench at everybody.
Definitely not

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (03:42):
And woo,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:43):
Mo at two o'clock in the morning
checking

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (03:46):
you are right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (03:47):
Yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (03:47):
it's a weird feeling when I'm not up
at, at the morning, isn't it?
You know,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (03:50):
is.
It definitely, you know, Mo, itdefinitely would worry me if I
didn't.
Um, like today the check in wasa little bit later today.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (03:59):
it was, I didn't, I didn't post
right away today.
I didn't.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (04:02):
was like, I was like, I was, I woke
up this morning because, youknow, my 15 million, um,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (04:09):
that You,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (04:09):
alarms to get myself

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (04:11):
you should, you should share that on
your podcast.
I think you should say, I have ascreenshot of that, because then

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (04:18):
I had so much to do because, you
know, tomorrow with my birthdayand having a workout and trying

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (04:23):
Oh yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (04:24):
you know, get myself cleaned up and,
you know, do stuff because onyour birthday, you don't want to
do shit.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (04:31):
No, you don't

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (04:33):
just want to have fun working out
with Joe and, uh, Tanisha.
So I don't want to have to likedo laundry.
I don't want to have to cookanything for anybody.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (04:42):
just want a day of, a day of peace, a
day of rest.
Like nothing

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (04:45):
Yes.
I want to do nothing.
So that's why it was just like,I set all those alarms and I was
like, bitch, it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (04:52):
I don't blame you.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (04:53):
get your ass up.
Like, because that that's, Iseriously have to get like, when
you, when I do stuff, like whenyou want me to show up on like
early morning workouts, do youunderstand like how the mental
conversation I have to have withmyself that I'm just like,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (05:11):
Oh,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (05:11):
I don't want to let people down.
Like that is like a huge thingfor me.
Like that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (05:15):
no, I get it.
I get it.
I saw I saw those longs to getyour lazy ass up But it's life

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (05:20):
people down and that's what, like, I
have to do that.
I have, I have to be like thedrill sergeant in my brain.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (05:29):
like sometimes you can't make
everybody happy.
So we get it Sometimes you can'tmake it to those early morning
workout.
It's a part of life It's we allwe if you don't make the first
one, we can always catch you onthe next one.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (05:39):
Oh, I know, Mo.
Oh, I know.
There's, oh, there's, there'salways another chance.
I know.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (05:44):
All right

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (05:46):
But, alright, so let's talk about
some back, um, some fun Mo factsthat I already know but I'm
going to act excited again.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (05:56):
Okay, all right,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (05:58):
I did not know this.
So Mo give us a recap of likehow you became coach Mo, a
little story about yourself andof course, your amazing story of
like what you've conquered andwhat you've been through and how
that's changed your life.
And, um, you know, a littlefamily background, all that good
stuff.
I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (06:18):
so coach mo I became coach mo
because hey guess what I was abasketball coach

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (06:25):
didn't Yes, I did.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (06:27):
So

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12 (06:28):
amazing.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (06:29):
yeah, I started out coaching middle
school, um, at an all girlsschool.
I wanted to coach for thelongest time.
Uh, you know how people arelike, Oh, you should try
coaching.
You should try.
I'm like, I don't coach, but Itried.
And it was amazing.
It was amazing.
Young group of young women.
Um, it was all, it was an allgirls school, private school.
Um, and then the varsity coachsaw me and she needs some help.

(06:51):
But before she hired me forassistant coach, she was like,
Hey, I just want y'all to comeup like a group of us.
Like come up and play againstthe girls.
So, you know, when you'replaying a girl, sometimes the
coach part come out of you, youwant to stop.
So I used to stop like the pointguidance and like tell her like
certain things that somebodyused to tell me.
And then the varsity coach waslike, Hey, you want to be my
assistant?
So I rocked with them.

(07:12):
I rocked with Atlanta girlsschool for about maybe four
years.
Then I went to a Jewish schooland coach, and then I coached
some AAU.
Then I tried to do somerefereeing.
I don't like that.
Didn't like that.
No, didn't like that.
It's different when you coach.

(07:32):
Cause you can actually fuss atthe refs.
But when somebody fussing at youabout a call.
The quick decisions.
I respect referees.
The quick decisions.
And that little split sessionthat you have to make a
decision.
Is it a foul or not.
Or a travel or not.
It's it's ridiculous.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (07:49):
That's a lot of

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (07:50):
It's it is it is like I Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (07:54):
were back then, but now they get cray
cray.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (08:00):
it wasn't that crazy when I was
roughing but it was just thecoaches was worse then And it
looked like they switched rolesnow.
It's the parents the coach iskind of more laid back But for
me to rough, um, I know I misshim I'm, not gonna lie I miss
some calls, but then you have tosometimes they don't understand
You have to be at a certainangle to see certain things So
as a referee, you're notpositioning yourself at the

(08:21):
right angle.
I'm not going to always, youknow, make the right call.
I hated it.
I did maybe 10 games and thatwas it.
I left.
I'm surprised I made it to 10.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (08:29):
I didn't, I, we did not talk about
this last time.
I did

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (08:32):
No,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (08:32):
that,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (08:33):
no, I'm surprised I made it to 10.
Now when I, when little, yeah, little kids, I love them because
you know, it's just fun.
Parents just want to see fun.
You blow a little whistle hereand there.
But as they get older, it getsintense.
I'm, I'm good.
Get me little kids any day.
Get me little kids any day.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (08:49):
cutest too when

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (08:51):
Give me a little kiss everyday.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (08:52):
They're the cutest then

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (08:54):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (08:54):
get into that like middle school
high school

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (08:58):
Oh yeah.
I don't want it.
Then keep it.
I'm done.
But as of right now, um, Ialways thought about going back
to coaches, but the way myschedule and life is set up,
it's not going to happen.
You

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (09:10):
Yeah, that's a lot

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (09:12):
I got to look.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (09:13):
now

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (09:14):
Yeah.
With a little one with a, andhe's about to be two.
And I think the terrible toolsare slowly really approaching
now while he's one.
Yeah.
The, the, the little hissy fitshe does in the morning.
This morning was a rough morningfor me.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (09:27):
he he definitely had the the the
bottom lip was a little bitbigger this morning

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (09:34):
Yeah, there was no happy dance, there
was no playing with cars, climbing up stairs, no, he
didn't want to eat breakfastthis morning, he didn't want to
give me and mommy a kiss, a hug,he, he didn't want to do
anything, he just laid back onme and watched until I found the
right cartoon to watch,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (09:50):
Oh, mm

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (09:51):
even a cartoon, we ended up watching
Miss Rachel, after I started offwith Miss Rachel, I hit
everything else in the middleand then I went back to Miss
Rachel, he just laid there and Iwas like, yeah, more than drop
off this morning, wasn't it?
Wasn't the best.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (10:05):
mm He must, uh

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (10:08):
Yeah, I don't know he went to bed a
little late little like nineo'clock and then uh, And then I
think he's teething to it out.
He got allergies to the thebetween the allergies him going
to bed probably not on time andUm, his bottom teeth are
starting to come in a little bitmore.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (10:24):
mm.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (10:24):
all three combinations It's like
just hitting them was hittingthem today.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (10:28):
That teething is awful.
Uh,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (10:30):
I just I just can't wait for them
They all come and then what youstart all over again.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (10:35):
no.
You know what Abigail didn'twhen she started losing her baby
teeth and started getting thegrownup teeth, it wasn't bad at
all.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (10:42):
Well, I can't wait to the grown up to
come in You

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (10:45):
at all.
And she

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (10:47):
know,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (10:47):
she lost her teeth fast Abigail was
like boom boom boom boom likewhen

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (10:52):
I don't know with him because his
teeth is coming in slow, butthey do say, you know, boys move
slower than girls.
So,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (10:59):
yeah

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (11:00):
you know, I just go with the flow,
whatever, whatever, whatevermovie.
And I'll just adjust as usual.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (11:05):
just just find a nice little corner
for you to sit into and do alittle woosah And and

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (11:12):
I

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (11:12):
so and some of that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (11:13):
did.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (11:14):
that you do at two o'clock in the
morning um

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (11:16):
Oh, Hey, I had to, I had to, cause I
get kicked in the back, youknow, the way he sleep these
days.
Hey, he's sleeping there.
I feel like I'm getting a nicekick back massage with his.
With his kicking.
So yeah Oh, yeah

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (11:31):
did like your whole transition go
for you?
Like, that's something that Ijust like, I find very
interesting because, you know,I, I, since we're talking about
Catholic school, you know, Iwent to Catholic school and none
of that was around when I wasgrowing up and knew anything
about it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (11:50):
So I didn't know anything About the
catholic school like the kidswould educate me like when they
couldn't come to school And Iforgot what holiday it was when
they couldn't play sport I thinkit was like from sun up to
sunset or something like that

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (12:04):
uh huh.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (12:04):
They they couldn't practice or
something.
I was like, where are the kids?
They were like, hey coach coachmo We can't practice because x y
and z or they couldn't eatcertain things, but it was good
because

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (12:15):
kids.
Yeah, because

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (12:16):
yeah, yeah the junkie You Yeah, it was
good because like I got to learnsomething that I would never
probably would have just youknow Open a book or just google
or research on my own.
So being around them I did learna lot the kids like I tell
anybody private schools arealways the best Parents are nice
parents are willing to bringsnacks pick you up pick the kids

(12:37):
up volunteer

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (12:39):
we're

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (12:40):
know puppy school

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (12:41):
We're

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (12:41):
you're right puppy schools Nah, can you
pick my kid up?
Can you drop my kid off?
No, I think I've been spoiledwith private school, so I'll
stick with private school sportsand education any day.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (12:55):
it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (12:55):
There's nothing wrong with, there's
nothing wrong with publicschool.
It's just, that's, that's mypreference.
So it's just, it's kind of justa smooth, a more smooth
transition for.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (13:03):
I think

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (13:03):
For most people.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (13:04):
people get the misconception about you
know, when it comes to You know, there's always extremes to like
Everything, you know,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (13:13):
Yeah.
Public school.
Public school.
Yeah.
That would do it for you.
You would do public school.
Yeah.
That would do it.
That would do it for you.
That would do it for you.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (13:29):
and random, random thought, um, and
because I wanted to be corn, come on, I wanted to play chutes
and ladders.
Um, so I went to public school,my junior, senior year, and it
was, It was definitely, um,never seen a hallway fight in my

(13:53):
life until I went to publicschool.
I've never seen, I've never seengirls pull each other's hair
out.
it was just like, it was justlike, A deer in headlights, like
I, I had been through privateschool my whole entire life and

(14:13):
this was just like, I'm like, people, people do this?
I'm like, I was scared to deathof the nuns.
Like, you didn't want the nunscoming after you.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (14:28):
For me, I've been to public school
all my life.
I've seen everything.
Worst.
The only time I went to aprivate school was college.
It was an all girls school andit was, it was alright.
I

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (14:43):
Why'd you

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (14:44):
mean,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (14:44):
to an all girls college?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (14:47):
it's a good question, so.
So, I went for basketball.
But, I didn't know at the time,it was an all girls school.
Until I eventually went tovisit.
And of course, you know, whenyou go on a, when you go on a,
in the, in the building whereyou play ball, you see guys and
everything.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (15:01):
Right.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (15:02):
you know, when I took the tour, they
was like, oh yeah, this is anall girls school.
I was like, cool.
Um, I didn't have a problem withit.
It was, it was like, I say itwas like home away from home
because it was enough.
It was like a two hour drivefrom Virginia or Richmond.
And it was like, I wasindependent, but if my mom or my
grandma need to get to me.

(15:22):
It would be no problem forsomebody to reach me.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (15:25):
Mmm.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (15:26):
So, so it was, it was a nice little
space, but it was, it was a niceschool.
Yeah.
Too bad.
Now it's not an all girlsschool.
It's actually a co ed school nowand they went from a college.
Yeah.
They went to a college, to auniversity, you know, money.
It's always money.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (15:41):
Now, did you know when you were in
like, you know, your, uh, like Iwould say probably like, when
did you know that you wanted tolike, when you started to figure
out like the transition wise, like when

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (15:52):
But basketball,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (15:53):
no, not basketball, like you as a
person, like, like feeling,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (15:57):
um, this is

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (15:58):
like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (15:58):
this is a good question I was gonna
get a little deeper about thiswhen it came to fitness and
stuff.
Um for me I felt I always feltdifferent like probably like in
It really hit me in middleschool Like I just always looked
at females like I never wasattracted to guys.
It was like It was, I just, Iwas like, wow, she's like, she's

(16:19):
beautiful.
She's cute.
But, and you know, when you'rein middle school, you're like,
ah, you don't, you don't thinktoo much into it.
You're just like, oh yeah.
Like that little girl, she'scute.
And then, you know, like onelittle girl just started getting
butterflies from her.
So it was, it was like a weirdfeeling, but you know, the time
I, the time I grew up, nobodyknew or was comfortable talking

(16:41):
about.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (16:42):
a hundred

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (16:42):
Girl, you know, lesbians, or you being
gay or anything.
So it was, it was, it was, itwas more, you have to be, you
had to be in the closet or whatthey call it.
Like you had to kind of live asecret life.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (16:52):
right?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (16:53):
I grew up, I didn't tell me it
wasn't a secret life.
Like my whole four years, whichis crazy.
I had a boyfriend.
We never did anything.
And I don't care about, youknow, I don't have in front.
I'm, I'm, I'm a 40 year oldvirgin.
That's the move.
That's me.
I'm the movie.
Movie.
So

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (17:15):
my gosh.
Oh my gosh You know, I literallyjust in like in my like head

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (17:19):
yeah, so

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (17:21):
when they're ripping Like Clarkson

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (17:28):
so I said I'm going to get katie
today.
I said we're going deep todayWe're going

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (17:34):
you know this conversation.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (17:35):
in.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (17:36):
This is

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (17:36):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (17:37):
So, okay, keep going,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (17:38):
And I love, and I love sharing my
story because some people arestill uncomfortable.
Some people just don'tunderstand.
But I tell people all the time, like for me, the, the way I grew
up, like it was, it was man andwoman.
No, nobody understands.
So for, for most of my life, Ilive In the closet.
My life was kind of secret.
Like I didn't want to tellanybody.
I was afraid.
I was scared.

(17:58):
Um, I play AAU with a bunch ofgirls that was like, you know,
that was lesbian, but like wehad our own little secret group.
Like we would stay over eachother house and kind of hang
out, you know?
And at that time, you know, yourparents didn't see it.
All, all they saw was a group ofgirls playing basketball, their
friends.
So it was kind of easy to hide.
I didn't think I really came outto my mom.

(18:19):
Cause my grandma, my grandma waslike, yeah, I, they used to call
him, my nickname is Nini at backat home.
So they'd be like, Oh yeah,Nini's.
My grandma's like, yeah, Nini'slike this.
And I'd be like, what you mean?
And you know, we'll shake itoff.
And she didn't care.
Like my, my God, my God, father,no, everybody knew stuff.
And my mom, like she was kind ofin denial.
And I guess when I went tocollege, um, my, my high school

(18:41):
girlfriend came over and my momcaught us kissing and she was,
and it was like, Like she didn'tunderstand.
And it was weird because I havecousin older cousin on my, on my
grandma's side who are lesbians, but you know, and I always tell
people when, when your mom oryour dad find out, it's always
hard for them to accept theirchild versus them to sell other

(19:02):
people, kids, and it's alwaysgoing to be like that because
they don't understand why likeno one never sit down,
especially in their generation,no one never sit down and
explain to them.
Like, you know, is it feeling, you know, people always say you
was born this way or, you know,it happened.
I feel like people go throughdifferent things in life.
You could be born this way.
And then some people, you know, have bad experience with the

(19:23):
opposite set and yeah, or like abad, like a bad childhood and
you know, and they turn and theyturn the other way and it's
nothing wrong with that.
But for me, It was just always afeeling.
So for me, I felt like I wasborn that way.
I didn't want to dress like agirl.
I hated wearing dresses.
Um, I used to climb trees, playfootball in the middle of the
street, uh, wear big clothes.

(19:44):
As I got older, I used to wearbig baggy clothes because I
didn't want clothes to hug me.
Uh, I used to wrap my, I didn'thave a lot of breasts, but I
used to wrap them up.
So, so I could feel, but, um, Ithink as my mom, my mom got sick
and you know, and um, I had aprevious relationship with
someone else who had a baby andlike now right now she's a 17

(20:05):
year old kid about to graduatenext year.
And um, I think when she cameinto my life as a, as a little
baby, my mom decided to set upthe fact like this was going to
be me and our relationship got alittle bit better as time went
on.
And I think like, you know, whenshe got sick, we just had a
conversation and on her on herdying back, yeah.
Bad.
She was like, Hey, be you don'tlet nobody, you know, take that

(20:27):
away from you.
Just be you.
So this is where the fitnesspart come into my life.
So as the, by what 2022, Ididn't, I still didn't feel like
me, even though I probably like,I think I had braids.
I was with my wife.
Um, you know, everybody at thistime, no, I'm gay.

(20:49):
I just didn't feel like me.
So the girly parts up here, Idecided to remove them.
So I got top surgery.
April, April.
Yeah.
The first week of April of 2022.
So before that I started workingout.
That's when tonal came into mylife because I was looking for a
machine.
I just wanted to be at home.
I just wanted to work out athome.
Didn't want to travel to anyother gym and around the time my

(21:12):
wife was pregnant.
So it was like, Hey, you need tobe home.
Just in case some water break orsomething happened.
So I found tonal at that time Icouldn't live because I got
tonal in May.
So it was like surgery.
Three days later, maybe a coupleof weeks later, I got tonal,
couldn't lift my arm.
Had to sleep six weeks on myback.
Um, pain was touch and go.

(21:35):
But after that, when I gotreleased, I just started working
out.
So now I'm just like really atthis point trying to build up my
upper body, mostly my chest.
Um, I could actually say I'm110%.
Feel good in my own skin.
I'm confident about it.
Don't have no problem talkingabout it.
Don't have no problem showing mychest.
Um, it's just comfortable now.
I think, I think now since mylifestyle, it's just a different

(21:58):
generation.
So people speak out more aboutit.
A lot of added letters that Idon't participate in.
Um, I think when people ask mewhat my pronoun is, I always say
Mo.
Like I don't, for me, for mygeneration, I don't care about a
pronoun.
Like you say there go he orthere, or you say that, or you
say she.
I'm not gonna chop your headoff.

(22:19):
I'm not gonna get mad.
I'm not gonna cuss you out I'mnot gonna try to record you and
be on the news.
I don't I don't care.
I just want you to respect me

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (22:28):
Yeah.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (22:29):
Now if you're an asshole about it,
and I know you've been anasshole Then we have a problem
but

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (22:34):
we have

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (22:34):
but outside of that like my little
my little cousins They're finewith their kids saying hey uncle
mo and I love it

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (22:42):
Aww.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (22:43):
Like my son would call me mom pa so
And I made that up so So

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (22:51):
so you prefer the he pronouns?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (22:55):
yeah, pretty much.
I mean if you say she it's okayLike I said, it doesn't bother
me.
But if you address me as he i'mdefinitely more comfortable with
that Um, but like I said, if youjust say mo i'm fine like I
really don't have a have anissue Like i'm the way the way I
label myself.
I'm more non binary Cause I'mcomfortable with either you

(23:15):
label me as a female or male.
So I have no issue with it.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (23:19):
I think that's like such an
amazing conversation for peopleto have more because I think
sometimes that this conversationbecomes so heated.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (23:29):
Yup.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (23:29):
You know, I think, um, with
anything, we always should beopen to learning because this
is, you know, a learningexperience for me.
It's a learning experience thatI'm going to have to teach my
daughter.
And, you know, it's, if youcan't have somebody to go to,
Like you that you can sit downand ask and be like well What

(23:53):
what what what am what am Idoing?
that's going to make you feeluncomfortable or how could I
make you feel more comfortableor how can um, Like us have
conversations properly like Idon't want to offend you like by
asking certain questions, youknow, because I think that um,
That's how this conversationgets better.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (24:13):
Yeah, I think, I think people are
scared to ask or people justassume and they, and they assume
and it, and it caused moreproblem.
I think if it was a conversationto say, Hey, excuse me, um,
before I address you, what doyou like to be called?
And I think in the, in the worldtoday, People see, especially
guys, I think they get it theworst because of how they dress.

(24:34):
And I think people just don'twant to address them as she and
just say, Hey, I'm not trying tooffend you, but what do you
prefer to be called?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (24:43):
right.
I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (24:44):
a conversation like, yeah, it made
people uncomfortable, maybeolder people because they didn't
never have to go through that.
You know, people just see onething, man, woman.
Yeah.
But Some people be with a manand woman and guess what the
relationship sucks.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (25:00):
um when I was working in Um, when I
lived in Florida, I was workingin the hospital, I used to do
heart catheterizations and aneighbor in this apartment
complex moved diagonal from me.
The nicest person, I had a big, huge dog at the time, he was a
great Pyrenees and she used tocome over and walk him for me.

(25:21):
The nicest person, she had thecoolest bike.
Like she was, she had, what dothey call them?
Crotch rockets.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (25:28):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (25:28):
Okay.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (25:29):
Yeah, I believe so.
Oh,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (25:31):
those, those Kawasaki, you know, Ninja
bikes.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (25:35):
wow

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (25:36):
one night we were, you know, I was
getting home from the hospitaland I went over to get Bubba and
they were just sitting there andwe started having a conversation
and she's like, you know, somepeople are really uncomfortable
around me and you're not.
And I'm like, Why would I beuncomfortable around you?
I mean she was very tall.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (25:58):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (25:58):
tall and she was very tall and she
She was actually born with uh,she would um, uh, what do they I
I forget the medical term for ithermaphrodite but I think that's
like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (26:12):
Yeah.
I know you tell me here

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (26:14):
don't

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (26:14):
the chromosome.
Yeah

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (26:16):
but um the medical term that they
say for that but she Like herparents had to make a decision
when she was born to go one wayor the other way, because I'm
like, and she like told, shelike had this like long
conversation with me about it.
And she was just like, Like youshe was the most open
understanding and especiallywith me being in the medical

(26:38):
field I was just like tell it totell me like what like How and
like do you have do youmenstruate?
Do you do you have hormones?
Do you

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (26:49):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12 (26:49):
hormones if you don't have hormones high
five?
and like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (26:53):
you're right

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (26:55):
this stuff.
I was just like And the only waythat you would have ever known
it is just because she was verytall that you might, you know,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (27:03):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (27:04):
women now, I mean, I'm tall, so I
don't look at, I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (27:07):
yeah most

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (27:07):
that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (27:07):
a lot of women.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (27:08):
thing.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (27:09):
because look at basketball player.
They're tall.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (27:11):
Yes.
but a, I walk in the Atlantamalls and I feel like I'm
gigantor compared to some, like,I don't know if, like I said,
people have gotten shorter, Ithink, but, but it's great that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (27:26):
They're not eating right now

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (27:29):
But there's great that there's
ambassadors and people likethat, excuse me, in the, in that
community.
That are open to havingconversations with people and
sitting down and being, youknow, like explaining stuff
because I think it's just likeif it got more about explaining
instead of like everybody's soloud,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (27:50):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (27:51):
you know, or, um, you know, so
quick, you know, cause nowadayswe're so quickly offended by
everything.
You

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (27:57):
yeah, because you know people be like,
oh you wasn't born that way oryou've been around it If you've
been around it and that it's afeeling it's a feeling it's a
feeling that you can't controlThat's like if i'm sick, I
wasn't born sick I mean

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (28:09):
hmm.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (28:10):
you are but i mean, you know on a
normal person if i'm sick i'msick It's a feeling it's a
feeling in your bodies.
So you like who you like

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (28:17):
Yeah.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (28:18):
I don't know why it's a big deal,
you know people just fuss andwant to control people live Like
I told my wife I said i'm happywe got a chance to get married
like, you know in some you knowThey were trying to take that
away from me, but i'm like, howdo you tell somebody who to
love?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (28:32):
If, if I have to be married
miserably and driven nuts, everybody should be able to be
driven nuts.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (28:42):
My whole thing is no one never
knows what's going on behindclosed doors.
That's your relationship.
I'm not going to say, Oh, youcan't marry this person because
it's the same sex.
Love is love to me.
You love who you love.
I mean, it's a lot of peoplethat.
Love people who beat on them.
I can't tell you not to be withthat person if that's what you

(29:02):
like If that's what you love, that's what you love, you know I
hope you get out the situation, but I can't stop you but it is
it is it is a conversation thatneeds to happen I think a lot of
people talk about it and I thinka lot of people don't want to
talk about it But I feel like inthe this generation of kids
that's growing up you have totalk about it because they're

(29:22):
going through it Even if it'sfor a spur of the moment thing,
cause you have some kids that belike, I like girls one day, I
like boys.
You even have some that say theylike both.
And it's, it's a, to me, it'sstill a learning process.
You might, you like who youlike.
You might like this person thewhole time in high school.
You get to college, it's a wholenother life.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1 (29:43):
different world.
Right.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (29:44):
Yeah, like.
I know for me, I mean, I know wehave to tell my son that you
have to technically in people asyou have two mommies and that's
fine and he might catch all thehate in the world, but the plan
for us to have him prepared whenhe get those comments or
somebody say something to himand just hope that he handled it

(30:06):
properly and he's able to cometell us so we could address it
early and I pray that he don'tnever have to go through it.
You never know.
But I, you know, I have somefriends who have kids that's in
school and they're the same sexand so far they have yet to
experience anything.
So I'm hoping as time progressthat my son won't have to
experience any of that stufftoo.

(30:28):
So, you know, you live and youlearn.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (30:31):
I mean, that's just, you know, I
think with, um, you know, fromlike my experience with like
school and stuff like that, youknow, and you know, like when
you were,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (30:41):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (30:41):
you know, it's, um, girls are the
worst.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (30:47):
they are.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (30:48):
Um, I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (30:49):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (30:50):
that, you know, I think girls just get
it, um, from their peers so bad.
And we still get it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (30:58):
it's

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (30:59):
as women.
Sometimes it's the

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (31:01):
a lot of peer pressure.
It's to be, what they say, to becool or just to be in that in
group because you don't want toget talked about so you have to
kind of, it's like aninitiation.
Let me be mean to somebody elseor do something so I could just
hang with the cool kids.
And it's crazy.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (31:18):
Yeah.
We had, um, cause we, you know,we homeschool Abigail

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (31:23):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (31:23):
um, we were outside one day and we
were doing something or otherand the kids were outside and
Abigail, you know, as polite asshe is, was like telling them,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (31:34):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (31:34):
hello.
And one of the boys goes, oh,that's the weird girl.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (31:40):
Crazy, man.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (31:41):
And I'm just like, and Abigail
looked at me and she's like, whydid he say that?
And I said, well, I said, somekids, I said, they learn from
their parents

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (31:53):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (31:54):
um, they pick up bad behaviors.
And I said, we don't act likethat.
We don't talk to people likethat.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (32:00):
People,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (32:00):
I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (32:01):
people don't like, people don't like
being different.
They don't, when something'sdifferent or something's not
normal,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (32:06):
yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (32:06):
when the mean, that's when the mean
stuff come out.
And it's sad because we're alldifferent.
We all got something that bringsto the table.
So.
Tell abigail who as abigail whoshe want me to beat up

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (32:17):
I, Mo, you are her favorite.
Every single

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (32:22):
Are

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (32:23):
Every, every single time I'm on my
phone, she asks, are you talkingto Mo?
Are you talking to your friendMo?
And then I told her it was mybirthday tomorrow.
And you know what she said,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (32:37):
you gonna talk to him?
Oh, I definitely

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (32:39):
York with Mo?
You, you,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (32:41):
need to make my way.
I definitely need to make my wayup there to your house

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (32:44):
have a huge fan in this house.
Huge fan.
So just so you know that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (32:52):
Maybe maybe I need to make some shirts
for me and her and not y'all

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (32:55):
and she's Abigail's she could be 12.
So

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (33:02):
you might have a team You might have
a teenager soon.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (33:05):
so so just know yeah, right I
almost have a teenager and youhave a fan in a teenager

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (33:11):
I know.
Hey, I love it.
Oh when kids love me Forget thegrownups.
I don't care about y'all.
I love the kids.
I don't, I don't, I don't carewhat the grownups feel.
It's all about the kids with me.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (33:25):
So how long was recovery with your
top surgery?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (33:31):
About a good month, about a good month
and a half.
Um, I think the healing processwas good because, um, I w I did
an oxygen chamber, chamber priorto me getting my surgery.
Um, I read up on it and thedoctor I went to, I love him.
His name is Dr.
H.
He's in Orlando, Florida.
If anybody want to go get yourtop surgery, he does other
things besides top surgery.
But, um, His, his staff was justamazing from day one.

(33:54):
That's the first thing theyasked me, like when we did the
interview or when I went to thepaper, they was like, what's
your pronoun?
Like, what do you prefer to becalled?
Who's coming with you?
Um, and when I said my wife, they was like, okay, well, how
do she like to be addressed?
Um, they help you find eitherhotel or Airbnb shuttles.
But, um, the surgery went great.
It was about a little over twohours.

(34:15):
Um, recovery was good, but priorto me getting surgery, they
offer an oxygen tank where youkind of go into like a tank
pretty much, but it's glass, youcan see, you can watch TV and
stuff.
The staff was great.
I went in there for about anhour.
It's like all clean air justrunning through your system.
And then I got my surgery andthen the next day I did it like
three more times that I guessthe oxygen is supposed to help

(34:37):
the muscle.
Heal and the scar.
I healed up pretty well.
Like I'm the only thing I hadlike some key lords and I think
I only got those because the Thethe drain because I had like two
drains on each side the drainthey wrap a bandage around you
At the time I didn't know Icould unwrap myself and kind of
take the drains out So it waskind of pressing too hard.

(34:59):
So by pressing too hard kind ofketo up, but Nope.
I got, once I got home, I gotcream, like the cream to help
with the healing.
I just hit it.
I just had to wear this likethis big old vest to wrap around
me and sleep on my back.
So I had to kind of nice littlecushion.
I hated it.
I think that was probably theworst part of the surgery,
sleeping on my back for like sixweeks.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (35:20):
Oh yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (35:20):
I hate it.
Cause

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (35:21):
when I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (35:21):
it felt like, it

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (35:23):
on my

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (35:23):
felt like I was in a, I felt like I
was in a casket.
Never been in one though, butthat's how you felt.
Like I was like propped up likethis.
I didn't know.
I didn't know to sleep like thisKate or like this.
Like it just, but then, but thenwhen I slept like

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (35:36):
wait, wait,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (35:37):
that,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (35:37):
if y'all don't see this, she
literally just just literallycrossed the

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (35:43):
I

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (35:44):
hands.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_0 (35:44):
literally, I literally felt like I had to
sleep like this or something.
Cause I was like, I didn't knowwhat to do with my hands.
And then, then I felt like anold person, like an old, you
know how the old grandpa just berocking in the shit.
I felt like that if I slept likethat, I didn't like, it was, it
was so uncomfortable.
Like, but then when I, when Igot released to kind of take
like shower and um, sleep, Istarted sleeping more on my

(36:05):
side.
So it felt better.
But now the crazy thing is afterall this, I sleep on my back
sometime and I feel great.
It is weird sometimes I get thebest sleep It's it's so but you
know,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (36:16):
No.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (36:18):
I think I do it because when
hinders in the bed with us Ihave I'll be trying to make sure
he he's weird He he likes tosleep.
I need to know the people outthere.
I need answers Why do babies tryto sleep with covers over their
head?
Like he he wants to put hisblanket over his head and just
be knocked out sleep That'sthat's this is this and this

(36:41):
this is this is why sometimes Iwake up early in the morning
because i'm like, okay I checkon him.
I'm like i'm about to just gowork out at this point.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (36:48):
That,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (36:48):
Yeah, he sleep he sleep He sleeps
sideways He he loves sleeping onhis hands though with his butt
in the air And he sleeps andsometimes he'd like to sleep
with the cover of his head I hadto literally pull the cover and
he'll wake up with his eyesclosed Get mad and put the cover
back over.
He's like I did something tohim.
Yeah attitude

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1 (37:08):
Attitude.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (37:08):
didn't come from me, it came from his
mom.
You got me?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (37:12):
Oh,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (37:13):
So, no, it's just, it's just, life
is just beautiful right now forme.
I mean, it's just, I'm healthy,like I said, I'm comfortable in
this body I'm in.
The working out is great.
Um, you know, just working onthese seven meals that you got
me on.
Seven meals?
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (37:28):
Oh, what, I think we talked about it
last time, but since we're doinground two, what was your first
program on Tonal?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (37:36):
It was just random.
I couldn't remember.
Let me know.
I got my phone.
It was random.
And I, and I think I started offwith Paul.
I want to say after theintroduction, I want to say it
was a lot of Paul.
It was a lot of Paul workoutsand then just random ones
because at the time, at the timeI didn't know it was a, a tonal
community.
Didn't know, didn't know it wasa community.

(37:57):
Didn't know anybody else who hada tone on.
So I was just kind of winging itfor, for a while there.
And then I started just makingup.
I didn't, I, you know, I built alot of custom workouts when I
first got my tongue

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (38:08):
that's

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (38:09):
and I think I was just,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (38:10):
you were

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (38:10):
yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (38:11):
a lot because I know when we first
started talking, you were goingto the gym.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (38:16):
yeah.
I was driving like an hour away.
And then I was like, it wasn'tlike, you know, my trainer
wasn't really.
She was more on selling product

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (38:26):
mm.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (38:27):
trying to train me and recording me And
I just wasn't getting that kindof one on one.
Hey do this do this type ofthing And it's like when you
leave the gym, it's like no nomore communication really so I
didn't like that feeling I justI

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (38:39):
So

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (38:39):
just feel like

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (38:40):
so when did you start like being
more into the OTC.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (38:45):
i don't see I want to say What's
this one 2024 22 maybe probablythe late part of 2022 That's
when I probably found out aboutthe tonal community and the
crazy when I did I wasn't evenposting like that really You I
don't think I started postingtill maybe 2023 every day.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (39:06):
Yeah.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (39:06):
started posting because I think at the
time my gym wasn't where it was.
And then I was still trying tofigure out, you know, what to do
with tonal and what programsshould I take.
But yeah, let's see.
So yeah, I did pull, I did pushand pull.
That was my first workout on May31st.
That was my first workout.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (39:25):
Yeah.
I didn't start like I, I startedtotal two year front, like I'll
be two years now, but I knewabout the OTC, but I like, there
was that like point on the totaland the OTC where it was just
like, like it was you know, theLA coaches and then the New York

(39:46):
coaches were

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (39:47):
you know what?
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (39:48):
I felt like, like, I was just
like, I don't want any of that.
Like that was, it was like, itwas kind of

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (39:55):
You know, that makes sense.
I think that's why I didn't, I,you know, that's why I never
post because I didn't startposting to the New York coaches
came in really.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (40:03):
I did too.
That's when

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (40:04):
Yeah.
Because, you know, cause I wasworking out with Paul a lot
because, you know, I was, I wason his Instagram heavy only
because he was doing stuffoutside of tunnel with his
machine that, you know, I neversaw.
Like he was, he had some, Ithink a pull up bar that was
like literally hanging from hisceiling and he had some other
type of.
Some other type of stuff thatwas pretty cool and I was like,

(40:25):
okay Like this is this is nice.
This is the person I want tofollow but then it's like he
kind of went away And I waslike, okay, are you not with
tonal?
You still got a tonal machine?
And then I think that's when thegroup, you know face, you know
your phone be listening to you.
So

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (40:40):
Yes.
Your

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (40:40):
I think

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (40:41):
does.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (40:42):
Yeah, so that when it came I was like,
okay, they got a group.
I was like, okay Let me checkthe group out and then that's
when I saw all the new yorkcoaches and I was like, okay We
kind of had a steady with theseso I think Yeah.
Cause I think action was stillaround when I started taking
programs too.
Yeah.
And then I didn't really seehim.
Then I think, I think when himand kind of when him and Paul

(41:02):
kind of venture off from like, kind of away from my IgE page,
meaning like they was usingtonal, but not as much, they
were kind of doing their ownthing.
That's when I, I think that'swhen the group popped up and I
was like, okay, let's see who'sgoing to be my new favorite
coach.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (41:16):
There you

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (41:17):
And yeah, it took me a minute to
find one.
I think I was still kind of allover the place.
Like I said, I think probably.
Last year probably was theprobably was a good year that I
was like at a steady pace withprograms.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (41:29):
Yeah.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (41:30):
Yeah Yeah, I think 2022 was just me
trying to figure out find my waywhat I like what I didn't like
You know how this machine reallyworked type of thing.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (41:39):
Yeah.
That's what I found.
Cause I knew, I followed Timbefore he worked on Tonal.
So when he

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (41:46):
Oh

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (41:46):
so when Tim got hired on at Tonal,
I was like, I'm going to show upfor his first class.
Why not?
We have it.
I never used it, you know, butthen I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (41:55):
Wow.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (41:56):
And then like tim sent me like the
nicest message on instagramthanking me for coming to his
first class and I was just likeThat's really nice.
And I was like tim.
It was so great to you know workout with you This is so amazing.
And then like after the class Ifelt so Good I was like i'm
gonna keep showing up for allthe new york coaches and that's

(42:17):
kind

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (42:18):
Oh, wow.
That's cool I don't know who thefirst person said anything to DM
and I don't even know when Ifirst started tagging the
Coaches to really be honest.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (42:28):
I'm trying to think of like when you
started

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (42:31):
Yeah, that's a good question

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (42:32):
I think it was Tim

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (42:35):
You know, I wouldn't be surprised it
probably was Tim

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (42:37):
I think it was Tim that you that
you that you

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (42:40):
I think it was

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (42:41):
rooting for because you

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (42:42):
yeah, because he had a program.
He has something right?
He did something.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (42:48):
barbell burner,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (42:50):
Yeah, you know, let's see.
Let's see when I 1st gotintroduced to Tim.
This is some good research forme.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (42:55):
right?
Cuz I really think it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (42:57):
All

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (42:57):
Tim that you that you started with
That when I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (43:01):
right, that's a.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (43:01):
you posting more about, um, tonal
stuff.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (43:07):
So we're gonna go, we're gonna go,
cause I did a couple of, it hadto be Tim, even though I did a
couple of Joe stuff, but I'mpretty sure it was all Tim.
I think Tim probably was the onethat I, that I did, I think I
did a program, and he, or I saidsomething, or I finally tagged
him, and he reached out and saidprobably like, good job,

(43:27):
whatever, and then that's when,I think that's when things
started kicking off for me.
Oh,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (43:32):
York coaches came in, I was just
like, cause I didn't reallyvibe, you know, with any of the
LA coaches.
Um, my husband, Aaron, he did,he enjoys, you know, coach
Jackson and, um, the Jared, Ithink Jared is the other guy.
That did

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (43:51):
I forgot.
Is he like the, he's like yogaand stuff like that.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (43:55):
and conquer the

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (43:56):
Okay.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (43:57):
and conquer So

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (43:58):
Oh, okay.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (43:58):
huge fan of them.
So he already had he's been ontonal a year before I even
started

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (44:05):
Oh, wow.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (44:06):
york coaches came on I was just like
I was like live classes This isgonna be amazing

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (44:14):
Right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (44:14):
and then when I started showing up
on joe's live I was just like Iwas like,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (44:20):
He was like, this your coach right
here.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (44:21):
right.
I was like, here's little Katieweighing in like a buck 25 and
her coach looks like alinebacker.
Like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (44:30):
You right.
Cause he does.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (44:32):
is like a, so Mitch mismatch.
You know, when people like thinklike a girl that's like this
little scrawny skinny, you know, never strength trained.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (44:42):
Not, not, not, not look, not anymore.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (44:45):
no, but that's what I tell people
when they, when they're scaredto take Joe programs are scared
to take.
You know

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (44:53):
I'm not.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (44:53):
like advanced programs like with tim
and

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (44:56):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (44:56):
you know stuff like that and akeem,
you know those guys can pull outof you

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (45:04):
Yeah.
And they, and they do.
They do.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (45:07):
inside of you like you don't need to
like we talked about this allthe time like when people Always
so got that mindset of beingsmaller, you know Like oh, I I
want to be leaner or I want tobe smaller And I know you and I
talk about it a lot like youknow

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (45:21):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (45:21):
Give, give me the bogey.
Give me the muscle

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (45:24):
Yeah.
Remember I just asked Joe aboutthat.
What, what, bulk bulk season andcut season.
And right now I'm in my, I'm inmy bulk season.
There's no cut season.
So probably next year I'mdefinitely riding this seat.
I'm definitely riding the restof the year out.
So I'm definitely eating everypossible thing I could eat so I
could just bulk up.
Like at this point, I don't evenlook at my scale anymore.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (45:43):
Good.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (45:44):
I, I, I used to, and like the
number, the number of gameswould drive you crazy because in
your mind you, for me, I wantedto get big, but I wanted to kind
of drop some pounds.
But the scale was like arollercoaster for me.
So I might weigh in one morelike 150.
The next morning, I might belike 145.
Then I might get down to onelike almost 140.

(46:04):
But then it's like you get madwhen you jump up 150.
And like people like I think yousaid it, the scale don't what
measures what your muscles are, what you put on.
So it's like, like I see peoplewas like, Oh, let me just take
all my clothes off and jewelryon so I could weigh myself.
It doesn't matter.

(46:24):
Because when you go to thedoctor you think about it when
you go to the doctor You can'ttake your clothes and you just
take you just taking stuff outyour pockets like that's gonna
help So I don't I just push myscale off to the side Like I
thought about buying buying oneand I think you have that one
the one you showed me.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (46:37):
body

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (46:38):
Now that one I will buy because that
one does go into detail but astandard scale or the scale just
give you Certain certain certainthings I just I don't even look
I told to make it the other daymatter of fact She don't even
look at her scales no more

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (46:51):
I think it's the most the the best
thing what I tell people all thetime is to take of yourself

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (46:59):
You know, you

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (47:01):
many as you can that is the best
motivation and the best Bestlike gear of like where you're
at is that you can go back likea year ago and look at your old
videos or whatever.
Like say, say you were doingyour bench press.
I do it all the time and I'lllook at my first bench press on
tonal and I'm like, when I gethard on myself about not

(47:24):
reaching certain things or notbeing able to do certain things,
you go back and you look a yearago and you'd be like, damn.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (47:31):
see what I just, you know, when you,
when you voted and when I waslike, Hey, do you see a
difference?
So, you know, some, and I tellpeople sometime you be too much
in your head.
That you say you don't see thedifference and sometimes you
need just confirmation Andsometimes I get like that
sometimes somebody's like, uh, Idon't think I got big enough in
the front or the back But when Ipost a little picture and
everybody was like, yeah I hadto go back and look and then I

(47:51):
try to find some other picture.
I was like Dad, you know thatback that back muscles are are
popping out.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (47:57):
in, that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (47:58):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (47:58):
in.
Mm hmm.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (48:00):
it's on fire back Yeah, I was like,
okay, like let me get out of myhead and let's keep going like I
think, I think, I think fitnessis a mind game and people be
too, people are too much intheir head about it, about you
know, what should I eat or I'mnot eating enough, I'm eating
too much, or I can't have apizza today, or I can't have a
cheeseburger, or it have to behealthy.

(48:20):
Like I tell people, um, you canhave a cheat day, if you want to
call it a cheat meal, a cheatsnack.
Um, just to me just don't forme.
I don't want to overdo it Like Idon't want to be at a restaurant
and order an apple to appetizera meal and then or even

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (48:36):
There's

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (48:36):
yeah It's always a

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (48:37):
it.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (48:37):
you could you could still eat the
same stuff the same What peoplecall it junk food you still eat
the same stuff, but you justdon't want to overdo it Don't
eat a whole bag of snickers

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (48:46):
Yes, you

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (48:47):
you have, you have chocolate, you
can have a snicker bar, just eatone or, you know, bite it a
couple of times.
But that don't mean like, Oh,let me go.
Oh, I ate one snicker bar.
Let me go eat a ice creamsandwich and stuff like that.
Like you could eat it.
It's just, just don't overdo it.
So I tell people get out thereahead.
Cause I mean, it happens to me,you know, we, we all get,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (49:07):
We all

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (49:07):
yeah, we all get to that part where
you'd be like, Oh man, I ate toomuch.
I don't want to eat that.
But trust me, if you work out ashard as I know we do.
You, you're eating thatcheeseburger is not going to
hurt you because whatever youworked out that day, I'm pretty
sure that cheeseburger had noimpact.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (49:28):
And plus that muscle that you're
building, that is the innermuscle.
engine of your body is going to

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (49:33):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (49:34):
it back.
And that's what I tell peoplewhen they talk to me about like
gaining muscle mass, you know, and Joe had talked about this on
one of his podcasts that he haddone and he talked about how,
you know, it's hard to put

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (49:48):
that's

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (49:49):
weight.
It is hard to put on muscle massbecause

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (49:52):
right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (49:53):
time I get a head weight.
Whether that, whether that bebecause of hormones or because
I've upped my diet, my muscleburns that fat so fast It's
ridiculous.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (50:10):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (50:11):
I'm like then I get back on the
scale and I'm like Where didthat three pounds go?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (50:18):
you're right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (50:20):
And i'm just like, you know, I I
tell people it's like you don'tunderstand like That's why I
show a lot of what I eat and Iknow you show a lot of what you
eat And I think that's soimportant because I think
sometimes people think thatlike, know, you're you eat like
a bird Or, you know, that, youknow, you want to be lean.
So you

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (50:39):
Yeah.
Like,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (50:42):
bird portions.
No, you need to fuel your body.
If you want to lift 35, 000pounds, you need to

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (50:51):
oh yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (50:51):
you're, you're

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (50:52):
lip.
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (50:53):
000 pounds.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (50:55):
right.
Sometimes I go from like havingbig breakfast and then sometimes
I might have a small break, butI know somewhere down the line
I'm about to kill probably allday snacking.
And I know people like you snackall day.
It's just a bunch of healthsnacks and it's fine.
But I'm eating,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (51:11):
if

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (51:12):
eating because I live out of live
heavy.
Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm livingheavy.
I done lived heavy this morning.
I done, I done rode a bike, youknow, and then you got to turn
around.
Then not only you people got tounderstand, not only are you
working out, you're still doingsome type of activity during the
day because depending on yourjob, either you're walking or
you're lifting something, you'restill, you're still moving.
You're still getting some typeof steps in because you're not

(51:33):
sitting somewhere all day.
Unless you just got a, like acubicle that you have to sit in,
but people are still, that'sstill exercise walking up and
down the step.
If you had to do laundry, that'sstill some type of exercise.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (51:44):
Yes.
Yes.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (51:46):
So you, so you still burn it, you
still burn it off, whatever youate,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (51:51):
100%.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (51:52):
you just,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (51:52):
I think sometimes

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (51:53):
unless you just sitting in a chair.
Yeah.
Unless you just sit in a chairdoing this all day.
That's a, that's a differentoutcome.
But I think, yeah, you're right.
People forget that you goingoutside, you taking the trash
out, you checking your mailbox.
If you got a pet, you're walkingyour dog.
If you like to do y'all work, that's still some type of
exercise.
You don't have to have dumbbellsor jump rope to do anything.

(52:13):
Like, When you walk up thestairs five times, Well, it's a
total of 10 because you're upand down.
So that's still work

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (52:20):
Yep.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (52:21):
as long as you're moving your body
some type of way is a workoutYou don't you don't always have
to break a full full blown outsweat.
You're still working out cookingis working out Cooking is
working out

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (52:33):
Exactly what you said.
It's like, I think sometimes, like people think, and Joe says
this a lot, is that because youhave a workout that absolutely
wrecks you or torches you, doesn't make that any better of
a workout than one that, You'retotally recovered from because I
see this on the this the otc alot when people are looking at

(52:56):
each other's Volumes and stufflike

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (52:59):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (52:59):
and I think that

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (53:01):
number game.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (53:02):
the number game, right?
And I think it's so important toum, you know realize that It
doesn't that person's workoutisn't better than that person's
workout or

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (53:14):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_ (53:15):
successful And I had somebody say to me
like because I I told them thatI enjoy like live classes I
enjoy the coaches being in thegrind with me and you know doing
the moves along with me And theperson goes yeah, they're not
really working out That's noteven they're not even doing
lifting weights and I'm like i'mlike next time you see joe Dead

(53:37):
lifting on a tonal live classthat

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (53:40):
Yes.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (53:41):
lifting 200 pounds.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (53:43):
But I think a lot of people be
looking at that screen becausethe screen is dark.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (53:47):
Yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (53:49):
Or, or it's not like, you know, it's
not like it's, in their mind, the screen not on so they're not
working out.
But I'm like, you don't know, there could be a black tint over
that screen.
And they doing their own workoutbecause at the end of the day,
they're all recording the sameworkout.
Everybody, you know, joe'slifting joe's doing basketball,

(54:10):
you know, ash ashley is doingbreast You don't know who is on
that screen So if joe doing alive you're not gonna probably
see joe's picture up there 24 7.
It's not it's not recorded Youknow something like that.
I think when it comes to lab, ofcourse, they're lifting weights
when they're doing though Whenthey're doing that classic are
they living weights to me?
That's my least worries.
I don't care.

(54:30):
I'm there.
I'm there.
I'm there to get the motivation.
I'm there to get the, the form, you know, trying to make sure
I'm doing my form.
I'm waiting to see if mynumber's going to improve.
Yeah.
When people be looking at peoplevalue, I don't care.
Cause I'm like, well, numberone, we're all different.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (54:45):
hmm.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (54:46):
then two, I don't know what, what
movement you switch out.
Like you could be doing thecrunch, the crunch curls, and
some people could do a hundredof those and your numbers could
go up.
Like somebody could, somebodycould really be sitting there
wait till maybe a hundred andwant to do this.
And, and that's somebody wait, somebody, somebody over there
might only do 15 pounds anddoing, you're doing a crunch.

(55:07):
So my whole thing is.
I don't care for me.
I don't care what I care aboutmy value, but I don't care what
nobody else told him is

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (55:15):
Yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1 (55:16):
everybody's, everybody's not doing the same
movement.
Everybody's

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (55:19):
and

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (55:19):
know, yeah, you're switching out.
I'm pretty sure 99 percent ofpeople in the group are
switching the moves to theirlighting.
Everybody's not doing what's onthere.
Like, and it's okay, but it's anumber you gained into.
We're talking about men versuswomen numbers.
Why?

(55:40):
You have some, you do have womenthat could pull the same thing
as men, but majority of us, mmm, don't compare your numbers to a
man.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (55:48):
no

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (55:49):
then you really don't want you,
number one, you don't want tocompare your numbers to nobody
because every woman ain't thesame.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (55:54):
right

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (55:55):
So yeah, I hate that about this,
the community part of it.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (55:59):
Yeah that I think sometimes it's
like, uh, do they call it?
Like a spitty match, you know,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (56:06):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (56:07):
it's it's

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (56:08):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (56:08):
and that's why like sometimes like
i'm so glad that like I havethat like You know, Aaron calls
it my Joe chip on my shoulder.
You know, you have a chip onyour shoulder.
I have a

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (56:19):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (56:19):
chip on my shoulder.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (56:20):
I like I like you and your joe
videos

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (56:22):
Yes.
But he like reminds you thatlike these people that are
chasing these extreme, like thevolume and you're trying to top
it continuously.
It's you can't it's it's

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (56:36):
Let me tell you it's no way that
every workout every day.
I'm gonna hit 10 000.
There's no way if If if I do andyou notice i'm on something call
me say mo What are you on?
I got to be because there's noway that i'm gonna kill there's
no way i'm gonna come there Idon't care what time in the
morning two three seven o'clock.
There's no way that i'm gonnahit back to back ten plus Go

(56:56):
work out doing something else, ride a bike, and that, and that
pass out at some point.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (57:02):
that's like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (57:03):
There's just no way.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (57:04):
house of volume numbers like every day

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (57:07):
In no way.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (57:08):
no there's like no

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (57:09):
I bet, I bet,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (57:11):
because i'm just like this Like volume
is bananas.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (57:16):
I bet, like,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (57:17):
poor my poor hands

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (57:20):
saw your hands.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (57:21):
lost two calluses And and i'm just
like can this be like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (57:28):
I need to put some type of boxing
glove material on or something.
I don't know.
I

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (57:33):
it's like sweating so

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (57:36):
see your hands when you pose.
I'm like, Ooh,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (57:38):
Yeah, they they

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (57:39):
what is she doing?
I'm like, what are her and Joedoing over there?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (57:41):
get it.
He's nuts and you know what's sobad about it that i'm like You
know, in house of volume now,and I'm like posting about it
and stuff like that.
And like how I'm like through itthis time, it's

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (57:56):
see it.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (57:56):
it's going to bite me in my ass
because

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (57:59):
it's coming back.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (58:00):
he's watching and

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (58:02):
Oh, yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (58:03):
and I know his brain is like,
Turning and he's

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (58:07):
Oh, yeah.
He's working.
He's he's gonna get you onsomething.
I know it's coming

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (58:11):
gonna get me in something and he's
totally gonna take me out and Iknow it's coming I just don't
know when it could be the Maychallenge, you know, it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (58:19):
You know what?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (58:20):
upper body focused

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (58:21):
You're right.
It could it could be christmaswhen you want to get your
christmas gift

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (58:24):
I know right, you know But it
could be the May challenge.
I mean, the May challenge looksa

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (58:30):
You're right.
That is that is monday.
Oh, are you ready?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (58:34):
I still have three classes to go.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (58:36):
So you're not so you're not
starting on monday

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (58:39):
No, I'll

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (58:39):
You could just you could just double
up You

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (58:43):
Um, Mo, do you know like day, day
two and how's the volume?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (58:48):
could just take one in the morning
then one at night So you canstart with you can start with
us, you know, this is it's justa suggestion You know, you have
to you know, I always have

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (58:59):
Oh, I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (58:59):
ideas

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (58:59):
Um, no, I'll be finished like
midweek.
So, cause I'm going to do, I'mgoing to do day two on and

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (59:08):
you know, at least, at least this
gave you a chance to kind of sitback and see what everybody else
and see what the program isdoing.
So you don't, you know,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (59:14):
I'm going to be in recovery mode the
first week anyways.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (59:17):
okay,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (59:18):
I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (59:19):
so you'll be a week behind.
You'll be a week.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (59:21):
half a

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (59:22):
You'll be

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12 (59:22):
probably

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (59:23):
okay.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (59:23):
on Thursday.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (59:25):
All right.
Yeah.
I mean, that's not bad.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (59:28):
No, it's not bad at

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (59:29):
Yeah.
Plus you need to recover out thehouse.
This is crazy.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (59:32):
Yeah.
I'm

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (59:33):
I would, I would,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1 (59:34):
recovery.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05 (59:34):
wouldn't, you know, I do a lot of crazy
stuff, especially with times, but I wouldn't jump into house,
I wouldn't leave House Van thenjump into a challenge without,
without having some type ofrecovery time.
So, yeah.
That's crazy.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (59:45):
taking like a week recovery time in
that pro

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (59:48):
You know, to, to be honest, I'm glad
this week is been like low key, like I'm doing the May pre
challenge, warmup routine.
I'm kind of glad I, I took thisweek for like a recovery'cause,
you know, power Bill almost tookme out.
It took me out.
It, it was a, you know, I gotsick.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:00:06):
Yeah.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (01:00:07):
wasn't, my body, my body wasn't like
right.
The time, yeah, the time, itknocked me to 7am.
It knocked, it knocked me to7am.
So, so, so this, this week hasbeen, you know, Ash, Ash had two
workouts during this process andBoth of her process, both of her
workouts kicked me, kicked myass.
It really did.

(01:00:27):
Like the first one I was like, all right, cool.
No, there's some emotional lapsaround my gym.
I was like, Oh, Ashley.
Then I'm like, okay.
The second time around, like,Oh, she's not going to kill me.
I got this.
Yeah.
Those back to back, sameexercise with no break.
She didn't take a break.
You know how Joe, you know howJoe go get and be like, Oh, go

(01:00:48):
get some water.
You know, take a deep breath.
Let's go.
I, I swear Ash, Ash didn't takea break.
It was like this, come on, let'sgo.
It was no break.
Yeah.
Even, even when she was, evenwhen she was explaining that she
was getting ready, like Inoticed that I was like, did we

(01:01:09):
not take a water break?
Did I not get a Gatorade break, like nothing.
Like, yeah, she kept me.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:01:14):
pause your ass right here.
That's

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:01:16):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:01:16):
Joe all the time.
I'm

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:01:18):
I didn't pause her ass.
I rewinded her ass.
I didn't pause.
I just rewinded her ass back soI can catch a breath.
Like rewind, rewind, forget.
Come on.
Now I didn't pause any.
I just kept on like, let's justgo back to the previous workout.
I already did it and thentransfer over to the new one.
But no, I think, I think, Ithink this week was, uh, what,
two, two mobility stretches.

(01:01:39):
Or maybe I think tomorrow is amobility stretch and it was like
two workouts.
So it was a good, like midrecovery.
Week for me it was trying to getmy body healed because I don't
know what money's going to bringIt's scary because who's do we
even know who's up first

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:01:53):
Yes.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:01:54):
joe?
God, darn it on a monday.
They can start off with him

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:02:03):
What?
Tim would bring the leg day.
Absolutely

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:02:08):
Oh, oh, yeah, you're right because
he gonna he gonna go in and giveyou some squats

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:02:12):
Yes.
Yes.
We, we, uh,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:02:15):
Well, what about Casey?
What's she?
Well, no, I don't, well, I don'tknow.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:02:18):
No, Casey's doing the, she's in
level one.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:02:21):
Oh yeah.
She's not in level two.
Uh, so we got, so we have,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:02:26):
We get T and T together.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:02:29):
yeah, yeah.
I heard coach T.
Yeah.
You know, Ashley threw a littlehint in there with my workout
time out.
She was getting us ready forcoach T.
So I don't know what coach T gotfor us.
When she said that she must knowsomeone, one of them days, it's
going to be real crucial.
You're

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:02:44):
some very sassy pictures and in all
the marketing, like the T eyes,I'm just like,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:02:51):
right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:02:52):
All

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:02:52):
I think she bringing it.
I think she bringing some heatwith Joe.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:02:56):
I think

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:02:56):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:02:56):
think she might give Joe run for his
money with like bringing theheat.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:03:00):
Yeah.
And I think they back to back.
I think she, I think she'sTuesday.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:03:05):
Oh, yeah

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:03:07):
I think she's Tuesday.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:03:09):
I'll be

squadcaster-dcgh_1_ (01:03:10):
definitely, I definitely need to get some
sleep.
Then I thought, I think she'sTuesday.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:03:14):
yeah, i'd be interested to see what
she what uh, coach t bringsbecause it's been a while Since

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:03:19):
She's been quiet.
She's been quiet.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:03:22):
quiet.
She's been

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:03:23):
She's been quiet.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (01:03:24):
excited

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:03:25):
You haven't had a lot.
She haven't had a live programin maybe a month or so.
She's been quiet.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:03:31):
well, she has one too.
I'm taking her live class

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:03:33):

We supposed to be going to take

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:03:46):

No, I gotta make sure we're notleaving out the house Or we
leaving out of the house earlyand not come back and do it
because we supposed to be takingHendry to get his passport.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:03:56):
oh Yes, cuz the trip

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:04:00):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:04:01):
so

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:04:02):
didn't think, I didn't think about
that.
Damn it.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:04:04):
is I already know where you're going.
Where are you going?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:04:08):
We're going to London next year.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:04:10):
Oh my gosh.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (01:04:11):
London, Paris, and Amsterdam.
And now, since I kinda, itdidn't dawn on me.
First of all, let's just behonest.
I only want to go to Londonbecause of Harry Potter.
The trip is really for me, notthe kid.
But now, yeah, I'm a big kid.
So I'm really going for HarryPotter, guys.
So that's, that's the trip isfor me.
But I invite friends and familyto go.
It's like a friend and familytrip.

(01:04:32):
But I recently forgot that, youknow, Disney World was in
London.
Paris.
So I was like, we could kill twobirds with one stone here.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:04:41):
Oh,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:04:42):
Disney world off the way.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:04:44):
now does now Disney Paris?
The castle is actually Bell'scastle, right?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:04:52):
You know, I saw that on Tik TOK
cause I didn't know I had toknow.
So I, cause I was like, let mesee what the difference is.
Like, isn't it really different?
Is it better?
You know?
So yeah, it is, it is bellcastle.
Cause it's all pinks.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:05:04):
I think that's so

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:05:05):
I'll say, okay, this is, this is,
this is going to be fun.
Oh,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:05:12):
okay.
Um, cause this is another likeicebreaker question.
What house?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:05:19):
you know what?
People ask me this question andI get fussed at all the time
because it's like, I can't pickone.
I'm like half.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:05:28):
Okay.
Harry Potter.
You have to pick one.
Do we need to put the sortinghat on you for you to decide?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:05:35):
Yeah, we probably do because you know
I got a little Gryffindor andthen I got a little Slytherin in
me.
So it's like, Oh, I just can'tpick one.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:05:46):
Okay.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:05:46):
like both houses for different
reasons.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:05:49):
I want both.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:05:51):
Yeah, I gotta go half and half on that
one.
I would never be a Hufflepuffthough.
I would never be a Hufflepuff Idon't

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:05:57):
I am a slitherin.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:05:59):
see I fight

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:06:00):
am a slitherin.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:06:02):
I like people in Gryffindor and
Cinderace, so I can't not hate Idon't like anybody in Ravenclaw
like my cousin.
She's a Ravenclaw

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:06:09):
Erin is Gryffindor, and Abigail is
also Slitherin,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:06:15):
see

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:06:16):
so,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:06:17):
when I come over there, the crazy
thing, I have a Slytherin, uh,hoodie.
I have a

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:06:21):
Yeah.
Well,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:06:23):
When I come visit, I'm gonna I'm
gonna wear my hoodie.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:06:25):
when you went to

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:06:26):
Yeah!

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:06:26):
you went to the

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:06:27):
Yep! Yep! Don't worry about it, when
I come over there, I don't carehow hot it is, I'm gonna wear my
hoodie just for her.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:06:34):
You know, when you went to the Harry
Potter store, because, um, thisis a good, like, we can bridge
into this conversation.
When you went to the HarryPotter store and you were
posting pictures of you at theHarry Potter store, I was like,
why is Mo in New York?
And like, I'm like, Uh, and I,you know, we were talking, but

(01:06:55):
we really weren't talking,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:06:57):
Yeah! Yeah!

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:06:58):
I mean, we were like conversing,
but not like how we are now and,you know, our friend Alexis

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:07:05):
Yeah!

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:07:05):
I messaged Alexis and I'm like,
Why is Mo in New York?
And Alexis was like, I don'tknow and she winks.
She sends me a little wink

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:07:18):
She knew!

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:07:19):
ah Okay, and I'm like don't her I
said don't tell me I want to besurprised.
I want to be extremely happy Iwant to be don't tell me

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:07:32):
Yep, she knew.
She knew.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:07:34):
So how going to the Tonal studio
for the first time, like walkinginto the room and knowing

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:07:45):
was

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:07:45):
to be coming behind you?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:07:48):
So let's so that situation.
So of course, you know, I guessI got their attention cause I
was posting every day andtagging him like crazy.
And you know, I did a littlezoom interview with, with two
people and it was like, yeah, wejust want to hear your story.
And then, you know, blah, blah, blah.
Then I get this email and say,Hey Moe, we want you to come to
Tone New York.
Well, of course, you know, it'sa 24 48 hour time turnaround,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:08:11):
Oh, Tonal.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:08:13):
you know, we'll talk about that
later, but also

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:08:15):
talk about that.
We'll

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:08:16):
so,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (01:08:16):
Tonal's punctuality.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:08:18):
Like they they booked they booked
they found the hotel booked didwhatever and I was like, okay So
I get there take a shower take anap and it was like, okay I'm
like, let me find where tony is.
So i'm looking i'm like now i'mjust gonna walk, you know Take
it in the new york feel 14minutes from the from the hotel.
Nice little walk, nice littlewarm day.
So I get there, you know, theygive you a little makeup, talk

(01:08:40):
to you, you know, they kind ofask you the same questions.
Like the guy James, he was like,so how did you find Tone On?
Do you like it?
What program are you on?
Next thing I know, I get in thechair.
I walk in the studio where theguys are using.
I was like, wow, this is it.
Like I'm here, like I'm in theroom where you guys work out at.
I'm like, what are we about todo?
And so I sit in the chair, theyask kind of.

(01:09:02):
The whole, you know, how thewise, you know, why I like tonal
and stuff like that.
So then it's like, come on, justtake some pictures of the
machine.
So, you know, you seen thepictures, I'm hugging the
machine.
I'm like,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:09:13):
Right,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:09:13):
So I'm just like taking pictures
like I'm just like okay, cool.
I don't know what you're gonnado with these pictures But I'm
just like over there profilenext thing.
I know I hear this guy Yo, Moeas I look I see Coach Tim,
Hakeem, and Joe, all comewalking through the door and I
just like, the emotions justwent, it got to the best.

(01:09:34):
Start crying.
Like, I was like, no, you're notgonna make me cry.
Like, what are you guys doing?
So as we hugging and we'retalking and I was like, are
y'all about to make me do somepush ups?
Like, are y'all about to workout?
And they was like, no, you know,we're just proud of you.
You know, saying just good, goodthings.
Then guess what out the cornerof my eye I see bodies coming

(01:09:57):
four more people and it's likeyo mo Coach t and i'm like i'm
back in the corner crying again.
I'm like What are you guys doinghere?
Like no one told me.
So it was, it was, it wasdefinitely a surprise.
It was definitely great toactually meet, you know, the
people you see on your machineevery day and you get to talk to
them, ask them like somepersonal questions that you

(01:10:17):
don't have to worry about, youknow, that you could just ask
face to face.
And it was just good.
It was just good to meet them inperson.
And they, I mean, they have thebest personality, the
personality that you see ontonal.
You get in real life with them.
Like it's no, it's noshenanigans.
It's no, we're going to act fakeon one thing.
And then when we see you inperson, another personality, it
was all good.

(01:10:38):
Um, they shared their stories.
You know, they, once again, wasjust happy that I was dedicated,
motivating it, like theinspiration, because I was
getting up at the crack of dawn.
They, I think that's what theirthing.
It was like, Mo, it's not amorning.
I don't wake up.
I'm going to have.
A post at two, three o'clock inthe morning for Mo.
So

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:10:58):
I love that.
I love

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:11:00):
no, it was, it was a great, it was a
great experience.
And then of course, the secondtime around is when, you know,
when me and you hung out, we hada nicest airport experience.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:11:07):
oh, we had the best airport
experience.
We had the best airport

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:11:11):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:11:11):
was running late.
You know,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:11:14):
You're right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:11:15):
the tarmac for like what 45 minutes
before I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:11:18):
You were.
My plane, my plane left on time.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:11:22):
Uh

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:11:22):
And you

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (01:11:23):
sitting

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:11:23):
know,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:11:24):
and

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:11:24):
was in the Delta.
I was what?
Southwest, just chilling overthere in my, in my little
terminal.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:11:30):
Uh

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:11:30):
Yeah.
And I even took a picture.
I said, I was what?
At number three or four orsomething like that.
And he was like, me too.
Yeah.
And I'm looking, I didn't seeyou and come to find out, you
know, Delta got his ownterminal.
Like I should, I should haveknown better.
I wasn't thinking had to catchthe train, had to catch the
train to come to you.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:11:46):
thing that you and I got to like you
got to you know, because when Igot the email because I
literally thought that um, I'm,like they're not gonna pick me
because

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:11:56):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:11:57):
we talked about, you know tonal
giving everybody You know suchnotice be able to make airfare,
to make hotel, to make airporttransportation, else in such a
short period of time.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:12:14):
Yeah, and then I just thought I wasn't
gonna get picked because I waslike I just left from up there
It was like what maybe almost athree week

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:12:21):
Yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:12:21):
frame.
It was really close.
So I just knew I wasn't coming Iwas like, okay Well, you know, I
just think it was giving otherpeople a chance when you got
your you know You asked methat's like no, I didn't get
anything.
But then what I got my whatmaybe like a day Maybe it was
real close.
It was real close.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:12:37):
it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:12:37):
It was like it was like a it was
like To me I felt like I had tomake a decision that night or
first thing in the morning if IDidn't know I was coming.
That's how close it was.
I was like that like can I get aweek notice or something?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:12:50):
I need yeah, I I like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:12:53):
But we had so much fun though.
It was, we had, we had fun.
I just wish for me, I just wishwe had more time.
I wish, like, if it, if I feellike it could be a Saturday
event in a way, like we getthere, Thursday, we can all hang
out, eat dinner.
And then Friday, you know, maybedo something at home or do it
that Friday.
And we still have a weekend tochill.
I just, I just wish it waslonger because it was just so,

(01:13:14):
so many of us there that wecould talk and hang out with.
Like it would have been nice tohang out with Leah for a day.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:13:19):
Yeah, I was beat up after I mean

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:13:22):
Yeah.
I was tired too.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:13:24):
after we got out of the airport You
know got to our hotel I mean Iwas wrecked and then what do we
get to like we rested for likewhat two hours?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:13:34):
Yeah, maybe two hours top.
Yeah, before we had to leave andgo there.
Yeah.
Yeah It's like you didn't have achance to sightsee or anything
And you know if you if he wantedto go somewhere just walk around
or catch a crystal So it it wasit was no time.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:13:49):
I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:13:49):
It was it was it was really it was
really in and out.
It was literally 24 hours

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:13:53):
I will definitely not do that
again.
I will not fly up for 24 hours I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:13:58):
I'm hoping, I'm hoping this
challenge, I'm really hopingthis challenge that, um, that
it's not a 24 hour notice.
I hope, I feel like, I feel likeat some point when you, when
they give us the last secretcode word,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:14:13):
Mm hmm

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:14:13):
I think at that point they should
know who they want to invite.
Cause by that time you, youleast, you least two, you least
two, three strong weeks in aprogram.
By that time, you, you know whoyou, you know, you kind of know
who's dedicated, who's, who'sWho's pushing who you want to
invite at that time.
It shouldn't take the whole fourweeks or however long the
challenge is for them to decideto say, Hey, um, on Tuesday, we

(01:14:36):
want you, we want to let youknow, we need you here on
Thursday.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:14:39):
or either delay the talk

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:14:42):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:14:43):
like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:14:43):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:14:43):
talk out later You know not have it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:14:46):
Like the talk don't have to be in
May.
It don't, just because it's aMay challenge don't have to be
in May.
It could be like the first weekof June because you could just
say, okay, in May we're going totell you who the winners are.
But June 7th or 6th or whatever,we want you here to talk about
the May.
I feel like, cause you're notgoing to have a June challenge.
It's no way.
They never had back to backchallenge.
So I feel like the break.

(01:15:07):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:15:08):
late late June to do it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:15:11):
yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:15:11):
a month notice to be able to get
everything because it was like I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:15:16):
much.
It was,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:15:17):
I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:15:17):
I was tired.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_ (01:15:18):
exhausted.
I was

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:15:20):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:15:21):
I mean,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:15:22):
crazy.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:15:22):
of us felt like when we got off the

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:15:24):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:15:24):
were literally getting back on the
plane.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-0 (01:15:28):
that's, that's how it felt.
Cause what after we ate, I knowwe both probably took showers
and went to sleep.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:15:33):
Oh yeah.
Done.
Done.
done.
I told, I told Aaron, I said, Ican't do that 24 hours again.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:15:41):
Yeah.
Yep.
That's, I told my wife the samething.
I said, they have anotherchallenge.
I said, if they want, if I getpicked, I say it's always a
blessing to go back and talk andhang out with people.
But I said, if it's, if it'slike, I need a 24 hour note, I'm
going to have to decline.
And if they asked me, I'm, I'mjust going to be honest.
I don't have the funds.
I don't have it.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:16:02):
I mean, because it's, I mean, I
haven't traveled to New York.
I mean, I've always traveled toNew York around like the
February, the both times thatI've been to New York actually
three times was always around, like it was in the winter time
where it had like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:16:17):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:16:17):
It wasn't a, you know, travel
season, but this is going to beduring the summer.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:16:22):
Yeah.
This is, this is, yeah.
I think about it.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:16:24):
a lot more.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:16:25):
We're talking about prom season,
graduation.
This is, this is, this is theirseason.
This is, this is somebody, youknow, people already out of
school in so many ways and wherethey just left early or whatever
the case may be.
People are traveling.
Who's not going to New Yorkaround this time of the year?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:16:40):
Right.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:16:40):
No.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:16:41):
so the airfare and everything is
going to be more expensive.
So

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:16:44):
I'm pretty, pretty sure tickets
right now are almost at athousand dollars.
Who knows?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:16:49):
But I mean,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:16:50):
And then you got a fine hotel.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:16:52):
oh, but I'm just, you know, it was
just like me, you know, meetingeverybody and stuff like that at
the talk was just an absoluteblast and seeing,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:17:03):
it was really good.
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:17:04):
If there was a, at any point in
time, like, I wish they werevideoing something, is when I
Coach Ash.
Like, there was no, is it okayif I hug you?
Which is so terrible, because Ishould always ask, because I
didn't know Tim.
Tim is not a hugger.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:17:24):
no.
He's not.
I think when I hugged him, itwas like the first time it was a
hug, but it was like a sad hugin a way.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:17:29):
Yeah, I did

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:17:30):
But yeah, he's not a hugger.
He's not a hugger.
He's not a hugger.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:17:32):
and I am I am a squeezer I am a I'm
going to squeeze the life out ofyou person So when Tim had said,
you know, I'm not a hugger.
I'm like damn see I'm like mandon't think I don't think I I I
did hug Tim.
I did I did

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:17:51):
Now the second time, the second time
I was close out for some reason,I don't know how many coach
Casey got close, but like, causeyou know, everybody got up,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:17:59):
yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:18:00):
hope they're different.
I hugged her the second time.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:18:02):
yeah

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:18:03):
So I didn't, I didn't hug everybody
this time.
It was more like I was there.
So it was like, Hey Mo, welcomeback.
Like, Hey Mo, welcome back.
Let me go talk to somebody elsenew type of thing.
But no, um, I hugged, I huggedCoach T, Ash, Casey.
I think I hugged all the guys.
It was like a little dab.
Um, Joe, Joe gave me a five andhe was like, Moe, I see you,

(01:18:23):
you, you getting billed.
And I was like, he said that?
So I had to go look at myself inthe mirror.
I bitch, while y'all wastalking, I bitched y'all off.
I was like, oh, wow, this shirtis a little tight.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:18:35):
Yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:18:35):
know, when you get a comment, when you
get a comment from him, it's agood feeling.
It's a good feeling.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:18:40):
it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:18:40):
good feeling.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:18:40):
it is it is Like, I, I, like, I
seriously wish Tonal wasrecording when I tackled Ash
because it was like,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:18:47):
Oh, wow, that.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12 (01:18:49):
squeezed her and I was like, I was like,
I was telling her like, Oh myGod, Ash, I love you.
And Joe was like standing likeright behind her.
And I was just like, I'm like,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:19:01):
So look, this, this is a question
for you.
If, if we get pink again, do youthink?
We will do you think they'll getthe new people's shirts and
we'll get something differentbecause I can't see let's get
the same Thing like what elsewould they give us?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:19:15):
would

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:19:16):
would love a book

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120 (01:19:17):
workout towel maybe would be pretty
cool.
Like, or Tonal workout

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:19:20):
nice book I would like a nice tone of
bag like a book bag.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:19:23):
Me too.
A bag would be nice.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:19:26):
Yeah, I would like give me I like a
nice bag with a water bottle

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:19:29):
Hmm.
Water bottle would be cool.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:19:33):
Yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:19:34):
Water.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:19:34):
towel would be nice.
I would love I just this ispushing.
I would love some socks someshort No, yeah, I mean I would

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:19:41):
the whole, I want the whole thing.
I want the whole thing.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:19:43):
love to just work out in tonal gear
all the time.
I couldn't work out on mymachine

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:19:47):
I would love it.
Like how, um, you know, Pelotondid like, uh, instructor cards.
I would like it if tonal didthat.
And then the coaches like signedit.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:19:57):
Oh, yeah, that would be nice

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:19:58):
Like, like wrote messages or something
like that on each, you know, like a picture of,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:20:03):
East card.
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:20:04):
coach, you know, coach picture of Woody
at, you know, all, you know, them, and then they

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:20:09):
Yeah

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:20:09):
and put

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:20:09):
sign the card.
They'll yeah, they'll be nice.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:20:12):
that would be a good personalized
kind of gift.
Um,

squadcaster-dcgh_1 (01:20:15):
personalized touch to give us They'll be
like,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:20:18):
but yeah,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:20:19):
well,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:20:19):
that,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:20:19):
do you do you see yourself going
back?
Do you see yourself going backaround this challenge?
Do you how what what is yourpercentage?
Would you

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:20:27):
Like 45 percent

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:20:30):
you think

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:20:30):
I I you know, it's just like I i'm
just afraid of how much it'sgonna cost

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:20:37):
the crazy I could see myself getting
an email about coming back?
But I just I could see myselfdeclining just because of the
parts Just because I know thesetickets, just because I know
these tickets are, um, extreme.
That's, that's the only reason.
Like, I can see us coming back.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:20:51):
right

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:20:52):
To me, I can see them trying to
say, okay, we're going to get 10new people and somebody who
never been here.
So, so, so number one, so itwon't look like in other
people's eyes where they, theystill, they still inviting the
same people.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:21:04):
right?

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:21:05):
you know, if you, if you put it in a
word, it is what it is.
That's all I got to say.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:21:09):
I want them to come to atlanta You
know do

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:21:12):
Yes.
I need a plop

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:21:13):
here in

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:21:13):
up.
Like on, like, what are wedoing?
Like, I feel like our crew haveasked for that.
We have begged for that.
Like this is, this is let's,let's step away from some real
quick.
This is what we should do.
Not, not Monday.
Cause that's the first day ofthe challenge.
I don't think I could, I don'tthink I could pull that real
quick, but I would try.
I think if I could get Hakeem,Scott and Megan on the first

(01:21:37):
day, on Monday, we should get aZoom together.
That's

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:21:41):
Yeah, we could try.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:21:43):

saying hey guys i'm calling youout Monday 7 00 a.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:21:52):
Yeah, but it

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:21:53):
Are you getting on his own?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:21:54):
doing the second cha the first
challenge, though.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:21:57):
He all right.
He owe me.
This is this I let him get awayHe's long overdue.
He's long overdue after I madethat post.
He never said anything back tome.
Somebody got you though So whatI'm going to do today, just
because it's me and I got videofootage,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:22:15):

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:22:16):

together on the right foot.
7am inbox me and let me know.
As a matter of fact, don'tinbox.
Please say yes, you're in underthe, under the, under the
picture.
So the world can see.
I think it's, I think it's agood thing.

(01:22:37):
I'm about to call all, I'm aboutto I'm about to call all
coaches, all of them.
They were like, they were like, they were like, Hey, go Mo.
Yup.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:22:45):
yes.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:22:46):
This is, this is a great Thursday.
Thursday is on a call itThursday motivation.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12 (01:22:50):
Thursday motivation.
That is something.
That is,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:22:54):
And I want to hashtag Kate say no to
Moe.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:22:57):
Can't say no to Moe.
That's great.
But that, but like, The, um, thetalk for when we were in New
York, when Woody had said aboutme doing pushups with Joe, I had

(01:23:18):
like, my nerves from like zeroto a hundred.
Cause I was just like, thereain't no fucking way

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:23:26):
Ooh, that was a fun one though.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:23:27):
That they

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:23:28):
That was a, that was a fun one.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:23:29):
that they were going to have me do
pushups next to Joe during thistunnel talk.
I'm like, that ain't going tohappen.
So I was

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:23:37):
That was good though.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:23:38):
I just

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:23:39):
That was, that was good.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:23:40):
there and I was like, um, this, this
isn't gonna, this isn't gonnahappen.
Joe's just like, looking at melike.
Flexin

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:23:50):
It was like a, it was like a stare
down.
It was like a stare down.
You were right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:23:54):
and he was just like bring it and
I'm like oh man This is goingdown right now.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:24:00):
Yeah, it was, it was, now that, that,
that was a nice way to open up atoner talk right there.
That was a nice way to do it.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:24:07):
That

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:24:07):
You can thank Woody for that.
Cause she, she put, shemotivated, she motivated that
one.
Woody, Woody, Woody, instigatethat one real good.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:24:14):
I like never in a million years
thought that was gonna happenand like the whole entire time
like I Could sense Joe was likestaring at me I'm like, Katie,
don't look at him.
Don't let him take you off yourpushup game.
Just keep going.
And like, I would have keptgoing if anybody would have

(01:24:35):
laughed when it came, likegrabbed his leg.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:24:41):
Oh yeah.
Then that, then that was funny.
It was like, That was a nicelittle push up challenge though.
That's you should you know whatyou should post that and say
hey, we're gonna run it back

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:24:52):

He doesn't, um, I think, I think
there's still work with, causesince he moved and everything, I
still think he doesn't have histunnel up at his house.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:25:21):
Oh, wow

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:25:21):

outside working now.
I be like, wow, what do you, what do you find these places in
New York?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:25:36):
I know, well, we're definitely
like, if I go to New York this, this next time, I'm definitely
making like early reservationsat restaurants.
And I'm not doing that last

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:25:47):
Oh, yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:25:47):
thing.
Like we did last time.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:25:49):
I come, I'm bringing the fam
because I don't think I couldcome back a third time and leave
them home.
Um, I don't think, I don't thinkthat's going to fly.
And plus everybody was askingabout the baby more than me.
So I might as well bring them.
They probably say, Oh Mo, we sawyou.
This is the third time with a,with a baby.
So yeah, I think, I think I'mjust going to bring the fam this
time.

(01:26:10):
And if we go, I probably, I wantto see if we can leave a day
before.
And so we can just chill andkind of sightsee and stuff like
that.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:26:16):
That would be great.
That would

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:26:18):
Yeah.
Cause it's, it's, there's no wayI'm going to travel and do a 24
turn around with him.
There's no way.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:26:23):
Oh my God.
I, myself will never do thatagain.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:26:26):
Yeah.
He'll be, he'll be cranky.
I'll be cranky.
Everybody's gonna be angry ateach other.
Yeah.
Mm-Hmm.
They don't have to come staywith you guys.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:26:36):
Not but what our um, so let's just
see we've talked about our NewYork trips.
We've talked about our strengthWe've talked about all that good
stuff And we're both going intothe torch Program

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:26:50):
Yep.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:26:51):
in

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:26:51):
What are you doing after, what are
you doing after the Torchprogram?
Where you, what you, what areyou doing after?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:26:55):
I'm going into the the chest
program.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:27:00):
Yeah, that's me.
That's me.
You know, I gave him my rundown,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:27:03):
Yeah.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:27:03):
'cause I, after the chest, you know, he
told me not to do Power Billtoo.
So I think I'm, I think I'mgonna, after the chess, I think
I'm gonna jump into Divine andConquer

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:27:11):
Yeah

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:27:12):
and I think I'm gonna, I think I'm
gonna do that.
And then, uh.
Then whatever was after PowerBill 2, I'll jump in, I'll jump
in.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:27:19):
Yeah, I'll take

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:27:20):
We good.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:27:20):
a chest the chest program and I
think then I'll go into powerbuild

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:27:25):
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think, I think, yeah, that's,I think that's, I think that's
my lineup may challenge chessprogram and then divide and
conquer.
Then I think I'm going toprobably jump into a built by
intensity.
I think I'm just going to jumpinto a two weeks.
I don't, I don't want to do aback to back four week program.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:27:43):
Yeah, I, um, I think the last time I
did like, what was it like for, well, it was after New York.
So also keep that in aconsideration also, like if
you're ending up going to NewYork,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:27:58):
Oh yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:28:00):
I planned my whole deload month
around when I was going intotraveling to New York.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:28:06):
That's crazy.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:28:07):
That was

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:28:07):
Let me tell you something.
I don't know better put me in ahotel.
They have a ton of machines so Ican stay on track if I got to be
up there for two days.
I'm like, can I use yourmachine?
I need to log in and do myworkout.
Y'all messing me.
You're messing my flow up.
But yeah, what D, what DLOprogram did you take a workout?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:28:23):
I just took built by intensity and
recovery.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:28:26):
Oh, okay.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:28:28):
Yep.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:28:28):
sense.
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:28:29):
Yep.
I took it for four weeks andjust stayed in recovery mode.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:28:33):
Maybe I should do power building
recovery mode.
I wonder how that is.
That's a DLO week.
That's

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:28:39):
I,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:28:39):
to try that.
I'm going to try this.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:28:40):
I just needed the, the extra four
weeks of like, when I'm like, like right now with me being as
high as I am in like, house ofvolume with like numbers and
maxing out that I am.
I may take the whole four weekfast track in recovery.
I don't know.
It depends on how my

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:28:58):
Oh, yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:28:58):
how

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:28:59):
yeah,

katie-_1_05-02-2024 (01:28:59):
afterwards, because I still have like three
days left and day two is justabsolutely disgusting.
So,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:29:10):
no, let me see tomorrow is I think
tomorrow is a recovery day Let'ssee what I got tomorrow.
I don't know.
I don't even know what friday isa A high speed hit with your guy
for 16 minutes.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:29:22):
you know, Joe, just, you know, he,
he is just the gift that keepsgiving.
That's just how I, I, I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:29:28):
Is it really a gift?
Is it really a gift?
Is it really a gift or apunishment?

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:29:32):
he

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:29:33):
it a punishment?
I feel I feel like he's a dadand you did something wrong and
you're like, come here Let melet me let me let me show you
something

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:29:39):
oh no, no, no, no.
Joe thinks it's a gift.
Like when he does all this, that's why he gets so excited
and, and is laughing and,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:29:47):
too excited.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:29:48):
dishes out the smart ass comments.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_0 (01:29:51):
Definitely

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:29:52):
it's a, it's a gift that, that is,
that is a Joe

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05- (01:29:54):
Anything that said high speed hit?
Yeah, this is not a recoverybecause his recovery is not
recovery Oh, and then I alsohave a easy lower body stretch
With coach t so that's that'sthat they'll balance that
balance it out.
Yeah, so those my two Andtomorrow is a stretch day.
No bike.

(01:30:15):
No, nothing else just Stretch, but now I really need to see
katie if I could make yourbirthday because I want to feel
bad if I can't Because you may

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:30:23):
don't, don't,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:30:24):
but you can't I woke you up at the
crack of dawn for mines.
I can at least return the favor

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:30:31):
It that was your birthday.
That's when you werecelebrating.
So yeah.
And if I could, and if I, if Icould make it, I would, but if,
if I couldn't make it, Iwouldn't.
So don't

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:30:44):
Well, I don't have to work out.
Well, it doesn't if I don't workout tomorrow Which we're gonna
work out together one day

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:30:48):
Of

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:30:49):
Next week, we'll, we'll figure this
out.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:30:52):
Mo, we're going to have so much time
in

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:30:55):
You're right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:30:55):
the,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:30:56):
we pretty much stuck together.
We pretty much stuck with eachother.
Yeah, we pretty much stuck.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:31:01):
So

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:31:01):
right.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:31:02):
of

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:31:02):
We pretty much stuck to Abby turn
18.
No,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:31:05):
I that's true.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:31:07):
uh, until I'm not cool Mo anymore.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:31:09):
You will always be cool Mo You will
always be cool Mo let me tellyou cuz when I was getting ready
and like when I put makeup onAbigail always knows that I'm
like going to record something

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:31:20):
Oh,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:31:20):
and

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:31:21):
he told her it was Mo.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:31:23):
I told her it was Mo and she's
like, oh I was like, yeah.
No, you can't come downstairs

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:31:28):
She probably ran that corn away,
talking about, I can't wait forit to end.
Maybe mommy would stoprecording, I could see Mo.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:31:35):
I'm surprised because, um, normally
I can hear her cause she likestomps her feet when she's
upstairs and like, normally Ihear her and I haven't heard
her.
So she must be very, um, she'sinto, uh, Editing movies and
making like remaking film withher dolls, and she'll do the

(01:31:56):
recording and the voiceovers andstuff like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:31:58):
Oh, wow.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:31:59):
be very busy doing that.
So

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:32:02):
That, that is cool though.
She's into that.
That is, that is so cool.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:32:05):
that Erin and I were talking about
that the other day and, and he'slike, you know how she got into
that, right?
And I'm like, how he goes,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:32:13):
Yeah.
You, yeah.
You why, why, why?
We need to guess.
Like why it is you.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:32:21):
like, she watches you do your editing
when you're, do you know, redoing, you know, making reels
or, you know, editing yourworkout

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:32:28):
This is, this is all, this is all
you.
This is all you

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:32:33):
Cause she has all the, um, New York
like pictures and everything onher tablet

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:32:40):
Oh, wow.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:32:41):
like the whole tunnel cause she
watched the whole tunnel talkwhen I

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:32:46):
I remember you telling me that.
I remember you telling me that.
Aw,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:32:48):
I have never been like proud as a
mom than I was when I came homeand Abigail looked at me and she
goes, mom, that was so amazing.
Because it's just like, youknow, when you think about it,
you're like, you know, you stillas a woman, you still kind of

(01:33:11):
feel like, you know, you're,you, you're not going to be as
strong or you're not going to

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:33:15):
yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:33:16):
know, you know, and I think that like,
I'm Joe is just an incrediblecoach and incredible, like
inspirational, you know, he is ahuge mentor to me.
And I think that like, thatlooks like him that took the
time and like takes like the thethe time to explain things to me

(01:33:41):
and You know Like I was able todo that next to him was just
like and then to show mydaughter look, you know Somebody
like joe and then look at yourmom She's going

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:33:55):
You right,

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:33:56):
she's going toe to

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:33:57):
right.
Yeah.
I mean, it, it is a goodinspiration for kid, for, you
know, for a kid to see that.
It, it makes her wants to dosomething, you know, to make you
proud and to make herself proud, but to see her mom.
Beyond in this in this life tvThe person that she admired.
So why not?
That was great.
That was great for her to seethat though.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:34:18):
and I think like this goes back to
kind of like what we weretalking about with um, A lot of
people with the people going tonew york and like

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:34:26):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:34:26):
like newer people.
I hope that more people sign upto go

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:34:33):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:34:34):
to meet these coaches because It is
meeting them.
They are the the most genuinemost caring amazing human beings
they are all gems I truly wouldlove everybody to meet them.
If anybody ever asked me, Oh, Idon't, I don't know

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-202 (01:34:53):
It will be nice.
It will, it will be nice to seesome fresh faces on it.
I mean, of course we would loveto go, but just to see, A
different group of people justto, you know, show, you know, to
talk about what they've beenthrough the next four, the four
weeks for this challenge.
It'll be nice.
Like, like you said, we alwayswant to go

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:35:11):
Right.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:35:12):
to, just to see each other and hang
out.
I mean, you know, we, we're herein Atlanta.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:35:15):
same state.
We live in the

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:35:17):
we, we, we can see each other.
Yeah, we can see each otheranytime, but you know, I guess
you should see the coaches andhang out again, but just to let
somebody else have thatexperience, that's, that's not a
bad, that's not a bad thing.
I mean, at this point we justwant everybody to win and have
fun.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:35:29):
Yes.
I think it, I think it's justabsolutely like changing.
For, you know, to have that, um,you know, cause I talk about
this a lot, like as much astechnology grows and as much as,
you know, AI and everything elselike that, nothing can take away
the human to human experience.

(01:35:50):
Nothing can take away thefeeling that you have when
you're meeting somebody, talkingto their face.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:35:55):
Yep.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:35:56):
Um, I don't care, you know, it's,
you know, some people are like,Oh, well, I would never want to
go.
Well, you know, let me remindyou that those people that are
on the screen that are teachingyou and coaching you every day,
those are real people.
Those aren't

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:36:09):
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_12032 (01:36:10):
Those are human beings and

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02- (01:36:12):
Those are people that go to work and,
and work and go to work everyday.
Take time out their day.
Record the record, the workout.
So you could do it either.
It's cla is either.
Pre recorded or live version.
They still people who justtrying to, you know, trying to
help you do something that you, that you're trying to get to,
trying to be a part of yourfitness journey.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_1203 (01:36:30):
right.
And

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:36:31):
And, and it's, and it's probably a
lot of people who ain't gonnawant to go to New York though.
But you know, sometimes, sometimes you got to take that
opportunity.
Like we, we took it and it was,it was great for us.
And then like, you never knowwho you might meet.
I mean, we met some extra, wemet some extra people in there
while, while we was there.
Like I didn't know Tamika, Ididn't know Tamika until I went
to New York.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:36:50):
I knew

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:36:51):
I knew, I knew.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:36:52):
of volume challenge.
That's where I met Tamika.

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2024 (01:36:55):
I knew we was following each other
and I knew we, I think, uh, Ithink me and her and Lee was
following each other, but wenever had like a real
conversation until we prettymuch got to me.
I think we, we, we finallystarted talking when you told me
you got to New York, when yougot your invite in and you said
to meet the guy.
And then we saw all talking.
And I think that's when therelationship for all three of
us, well for me and her started.

(01:37:16):
But outside of that, thinkabout, think about the people
you meet and just become friendswith.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:37:23):
Yes,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-20 (01:37:23):
And y'all get to talk about, even
though we all on a differentjourney, we still learning from
each other.
So just to say you don't want togo, it's kind of like, why not?
Besides money, what would be theother reason not to go?
You build, you buildrelationship, you, you build
friends with people that youprobably would have never
thought you would be friendswith.

(01:37:44):
I mean, it's once in a lifetimetrip.
Why not go?
But I guess we'll see soon.
May, may be over before you knowit.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:37:52):
life is so short, you know,

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02 (01:37:55):

No, and I think that's why like one
of the reasons why I wanted tostart, you know, doing this
podcast is like kind of Reachingout to the tonal community to
get them more um visual thatthat the The person that is like
typing behind the screen, youknow, you can see their face,

(01:39:11):

personality their laugh Theiryou know their story that they
have to tell Is real life.
It's not just that person justtyping

journey.

You don't you don't know thebehind the scenes Like like you
said no one knew I was abasketball coach I could just
came up with the name coach justbecause I just wanted to be a
coach or something

it's like you learn, you learn
something.
Yeah.

katie-_1_05-02-2024_120324 (01:39:54):
So that's why I think this like a
whole, like me doing thispodcast thing is, you know, even
though we've, I've had my like,Bumps in the road when it comes
to like recording and issues

squadcaster-dcgh_1_05-02-2 (01:40:05):
