Speaker 2 (00:45):
Greeting Sunday listeners.
I hope that you are both safeand well on this beautiful day.
This is your host, Dr.
SHA Chave.
And I just want to come to youand just speak from our heart.
Today is the very last day of2021.

(01:06):
And over the last couple ofdays, I have been taking
inventory of my life and havebeen thinking about what will
2022 look like for me?
What should I be doing in 2022?
What should I not be doing in2022?

(01:27):
And so many things have come tomind and so many goals, as well
as hopes have come to mind for2022.
And reflecting on all that hashappened in 2021.
I want to encourage you about20, 22.

(01:49):
And more importantly, I want tojust acknowledge that 2021 was a
very challenging year foreveryone on so many different
levels and so many differentways.
I've lost family members and youmay have lost family members as
well.
And you may have lost friends.

(02:11):
You may have lost pets.
You may have had a series ofloss that has impacted your
experience of 2021.
You may have had some thingsthat were rewarding for you and
gratifying, but then you mayhave also had some moments of
suffering and moments ofchallenge and obstacles that

(02:32):
were unanticipated pains andgrieves, and all kinds of
occurrences that have led youremotions to be on some sort of
rollercoaster.
But when you weigh it all, Ihope that you are able to come

(02:53):
to the conclusion that 2021 wasnot a wash, but you were able to
gain something from 2021 thatwill propel you into 2022 with a
vision of hope or a vision thatincludes hope, joy, endless

(03:14):
possibilities, prosperitystrength, 2022, that will allow
you to grow and to become theyou that you envision yourself
to be.
So with that being said, I justwant to acknowledge that 2021 is

(03:36):
just a couple of hours away frombeing over 2022 will will lead
us into another year ofpossibilities.
I read something the other dayin the, in this thing that I
read said, you have the abilityto undertake and complete
anything you desire.

(03:57):
And I thought to self well, youknow, I have a lot of desires, a
lot of things that I have inmind to do.
And one of those things that Ihad in mind to do was to begin
this podcast and to my surprise,I was able to do that.
And I'm so excited.
And so, so thankful for what2022 will allow me accomplish

(04:21):
with, with this podcast.
But I'm also excited about thepossibilities of other
activities that I have going onin my life.
And I see the possibilities inall of those things.
And the question that I wouldask you is, do you see the
possibility?

(04:46):
Do you see the possibilities?
Do you see the possibilities inyour situation?
Do you see the possibilities inyour circumstances?
Do you see the possibilities foryour family?
Do you see possibilities in therelationships you have with your
friends and coworkers, with youremployer, with your neighbors

(05:11):
that are up and down the streetthat you live, perhaps they are
in the community that you live.
Do you see the pastpossibilities for every area of
your life?
And if you don't see thepossibilities, what will you do
in order to envision thosepossibilities?

(05:34):
What are the opportunities thatyou have to strengthen
relationships that, that havebeen and strained over an
extended period of time?
What are the possibilitiesthere?
What are the possibilities ofyou doing something new that
you've never done before thatwill allow you to change the

(06:00):
trajectory of your life?
What are the possibilities?
Think about the possibilitiesthat lie in 2022 and think about
what you can do in order to turnpossibilities into reality.
That is the one thing that Ifound myself reflecting on for

(06:22):
an extended period of time overthe last couple of days.
And while I was reflecting, acouple of other things came to
my mind.
And one of the things that cameto my mind in addition to this
idea of having possibility wasthe fact that, you know, I have
this tremendous potential forsuccess.

(06:42):
We all have tremendous potentialfor success.
We all have within us a seed ofgreatness.
And in order for that seed ofgreatness to grow, we have to
nurture it.
What will you do to nurture thatseed of greatness that's within
you so that it will grow and beable to express greatness in

(07:09):
every area of your life.
So what will you do in order tonurture that seed of greatness
within you so that you can, as aresult, do great things in your
personal life and as well dogreat things in, and for the
people with whom you arerelationship.

(07:29):
And for those that are aroundyou, that you may or may not be
in relationship with that seedof greatness is so important for
being able to realize, you know, this idea of success, and there
are so many differentdefinitions of success.
And my definition of success maybe different than your

(07:51):
definition of success.
So the definition of successthat I have is for me, is, uh,
doing what have been created todo.
And when I'm doing that, I amsuccessful.
So for me, success does notequate to having a certain type
of car or having a certain typeof home or having a certain

(08:13):
amount of money or knowingcertain people even.
So you have to decide what thatis for you.
And when you decide what thatis, embracing that, and again,
nurturing that seed of greatnesswithin you so that you can be
successful.

(08:33):
Because again, we all havetremendous potential to be
successful, exercise, thepotential that you have.
Don't let anyone else do it foryou, or don't let anyone else
influence you, or yourinfluence, your potential that
you have, you influence thepotential that you have so that

(08:56):
you can be the best you, thatyou can be.
The other thing that I think Iwould like to say, just thinking
about coming into this 20, 22,and I've already said this, but
I've kind of wanna circle backto it.

(09:16):
And that is doing something new, doing something new that you've
never done before is quitedaring.
It, it, it requires courage.
It requires a sense offearlessness.
It requires you to think outsidethe box, it requires you to be
humble.
In some regard, it requires youto be confident and courageous

(09:39):
all of these things all at thesame time to do something new
and that something new for youmay not be something new for
someone else, but it may be newfor you.
Something you've never donebefore, something new, perhaps
that something new means thatyou look at the problems and

(09:59):
challenges that you have in yourlife and seek to find a new way
to address them or a newsolution to a problem or
challenge that you're having inyour life.
That might be the something new.
That's also something relevant, something meaningful, something
life changing.

(10:20):
So I think 20, 22 is a goodreason.
A good reason this new yearcoming into this new year is a
good reason to think outside thebox, to try something new, to
look at problems and challengesand obstacles that you're facing
in your life and new ways andfinding new ways to approach

(10:44):
them, to solve them, to addressthem to creatively use yourself
in order to, for instance, address conflicts with people in
your life.
And we all have a person or twoor more in our life that we tend

(11:04):
to clash with.
And so to think about whateverthat clash is in a new way, and
finding a new way to approach, either interacting with that
person or a new way of thinkingabout who that person is, and
even the, the problem orobstacle itself.

(11:26):
And all of this is anopportunity.
These are opportunities forgrowth opportunities for change
and doing these in, in a waythat's creative in a way that
you to be courageous and to comeoutside of your comfort zone,
but, but doing it in a healthyway.

(11:47):
So finding new, healthy, positive solutions to problems
and obstacles that you have inyour life can be a great goal
for 2022.
So I leave you with take thetime to take inventory of 2021.

(12:11):
Think about what at 2021 waswhat it meant for you, what it
allowed you to do, what itallowed you not to do.
What were your opportunities andwhat were the possibilities?
What were your experiences takeinventory of 2021?
What can you grab?
Hold of that's could good.

(12:33):
That's rich, that's positive,that's healthy.
That's meaningful that you cantake with you into 2022 in order
to build on that and grow, expand your life in new ways and

(12:54):
become the better you thathopefully we are all seeking to
do.
We are all seeking to become, you know, our best, our best
selves, our, you know, operatingin our most healthy self.
So what can you take from 2021into 2022 that will be enriching

(13:18):
and will help you to havetremendous success that will
influence your ability to seepossibilities will help you to
achieve the goals that you mayset that will help you to
courageously try new things, new, positive, and healthy

(13:42):
things in order to enrich yourlife.
What you don't wanna do is staystuck in 2021.
Now, when you're takinginventory and you're thinking
about 2021, you may say thatthere was a lot of that were not
so good or was not so positiveabout 2021.
Don't take that into 2022 withyou.

(14:04):
Don't get stuck in 2021.
Look forward and move forward.
You don't want to stay focusedon what's what's behind you,
which will be 2021 in a coupleof hours, hours.
Keep moving forward.
Take from the past what you canto enrich your tomorrow.

(14:24):
Chase after the possibilities, grab hold of the hope that you
may have try something new, bebold, be courageous, be
confident and embrace 20, 22 asa year for extra ordinary in
your life.
So long, 2021.
