surprised if I woke up tomorrow.
My head sewn to the carpet.

Three years, four years in Juneor

Kelli (01:18):
years? 200 episodes.
That's crazy. I

Chris (01:21):
know. That's bonuses and everything. Right? Yeah.
Unbelievable. And we celebrated18 years of wedding last week

Kelli (01:31):
carried. And in two weeks, we celebrate your
birthday.

Chris (01:35):
We don't want you to talk about that when

Kelli (01:36):
we just did a

Chris (01:38):
real celebratory this time of year and it for us is
always pretty celebratory, celebratory like we can't we

Kelli (01:48):
Hey, honey, who has listened to us this week leading
into the 200

Chris (01:54):
the 199th episode, listen to the 199 that we had folks in
Jersey City, New Jersey. So thisis when you're in Manhattan and
you're standing on the bike nearthe Financial District looking
over the Hudson River you arelooking basically at the
beautiful water skyline ofJersey City if you're legal in

(02:15):
Jersey, if you're in JerseyCity, you've got great views of
Manhattan there. You can see theLady Liberty out there in the
harbor say so now what

Kelli (02:23):
else is legal in Jersey honey duals listening to our
200th anniversary.

Chris (02:28):
So you find folks in New Jersey City. Keep it going keep
it going to go for another daylegal

Kelli (02:34):
for y'all to listen our 200 Farmington

Chris (02:37):
Minnesota. Oh, this is sarebbe suburb, just south of
Minneapolis. I think theyprobably love hanging out at
Mall of America and PaisleyPark. Although neither of those
are in Farmington. Exactly.

Kelli (02:49):
But they're close. Okay.
All right. Welcome Minnesota.

Chris (02:51):
Yep, for sure. Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Kelli (02:55):
Winston Salem.

Chris (02:58):
The great little town in the heart of North Carolina. The
heart home of the Wake Forest.
Demon Deacons go Deeks theSwitzerland of the ACC Tobacco
Road Tobacco Road. But But Imean, what was their real
contribution to civilizedsociety today? Winston

Kelli (03:17):
Salem? Oh, well, that's the air air plane.

Chris (03:21):
No, no, dear the airplane that was Kitty Hawk, North
Carolina. But, okay. I mean, come on. It's Krispy Kreme
Doughnuts.

Kelli (03:31):
Really? Western sales for Krispy Kreme? Yep. I did not
know that.

Chris (03:35):
What would this nation be without that? You know what I'm
saying? That is right. Itwouldn't be much melt

Kelli (03:42):
in your mouth. I mean, it's like you didn't even eat
like sweet clouds of sweetclouds. Especially when they
come hot. Fresh hot.

Chris (03:50):
Fresh hot now. Fresh now.
Right off

Kelli (03:53):
the right off the little kid right off the conveyor belt
right out of the grease. snatchthem up with that little hook
thing they've got put them rightin the box.

Chris (04:01):
We'll get to the sugar waterfall on the conveyor set
for that one at Myrtle Beach.
Yeah, that one's fake. Yeah, they have they're shipped in. I
Shiga must say this again, because I want these people to
know that I care about them.
Okay, get right. I Ashiya Japanin the HEO go district rice,

(04:22):
which is just west of Osaka,Japan. Nestled right on the
shores of Osaka Bay looks like awonderful place to spend some

Kelli (04:31):
time sounds lovely. Yeah, Japan is absolutely on my bucket
list for sure. I mean, everysingle time you show me a video
of something from Tokyo DisneySea, like we need a weekend

Chris (04:42):
and there's a I think it's maybe the Disney tourists
insider or Disney tourists blog.
I can't remember which oneexactly right now not apologize
for that. But he's all the timetalking about their favorite
place to visit in the world isKyoto Japan, which is where are
effectively where Disneyland islocated so they go there a lot
but they love that part of Japanspecifically agnostic of Disney.

(05:06):
Wow then you've got DisneyDisney and Disney see there so

Kelli (05:12):
we just need maybe a week and a half in Japan to really

Chris (05:16):
sort of wonder where all this money's gonna come from.

Kelli (05:20):
I you know I've decided to start manifesting being a
millionaire manifesting

Chris (05:25):
manifest that abundance maybe I'd be darling at it.

Kelli (05:29):
I hope you are just darling at it. I know I will. In

Chris (05:33):
the meantime, I'm just gonna keep keep working on those
lottery tickets. Are you readyfor some Main Street? Let's do
it. Alright. So one of thetopics for today is speaking of
Tokyo Disney Sea by the way, itofficially opened the new lands

(05:54):
they're officially open June 6.
The new frozen land and camerawhat they're calling the fate
and fantasy fantasy spring sincethe spring fantasy springs opens
June the sixth and so we'vestarted seeing videos as some of
the dark rides crazy this thetangled oh my gosh, this forum

(06:17):
is about little boat dark boatride that ride the amazing the
animatronics that took the Tokyousers are off the charts anyway
we saw that whenever the beatingthe beast ride opened and we saw
them dancing in the ballroomright well now we have the
scenes from Tangled that arejust they hurt your eyes they're

(06:41):
so gorgeous. And this this roomwhere you basically float around
her and Flynn and their boatwhen they're surrounded by the
land. Oh, the lanterns oh mygosh,

Kelli (06:58):
I just recently got some of those lanterns for my dream
light Valley and I want themeverywhere but Scrooge charges I
want to say like like 6000 coinsfor oil you know I mean he liked
there was money there nice.
Well, he's got a pair of sweatpants in his store yesterday for
$50,000 And I thought thosethings better be made of gold.
They got juicy written on thebut they do not and I was like

(07:19):
I'm not paying 50,000 coins forsweat pants. That's ridiculous
but I would buy 50,000 of thoselanterns in a heartbeat because
the ambiance they give at nightis

Chris (07:31):
something it's it's really

Kelli (07:33):
special nice really really special so

Chris (07:36):
yes, on my two by four screen that I play on talking
about family well then they alsohad this this they showed a
video from on analysis frozenadventure. Okay, maybe it's also
not I don't know. But youbasically ride through scenes
from the first Frozen movie, including, when Ana's frozen she

(08:00):
actually gets frozen and shethaws this people go find the
video of this. It is wackadoocrazy there. It's obviously they
have these amazing animatronics.

Kelli (08:13):
How do you de thaw something with animatronics?
Like that's insane, right? She's

Chris (08:17):
frozen and then she becomes unfrozen. And, and I
quote living animatronic. It'scrazy. They're using projections
but still it looks so cool.

Kelli (08:28):
It's brilliant. I mean, is this this is the biggest
addition to Tokyo do we knowthat Tokyo Disney see I don't
know like I just want to makesure when we go that we can see
all of it yeah sure. I don'tknow that oh, they're building
this next year the building thatthe next year. I want to make
sure we go we go we get to seeall that we've gone. Yes.

Chris (08:46):
So there's a walkthrough I guess, Scott Gustin re
retweeted of video that someoneelse put out that is a like a
like an hour's long walkthroughof Disney see? And he says it
gives that amazing you know, feeling an idea of what that
land is like,

Kelli (09:06):
is that like an ambiance video? Or are they talking
throne and

Chris (09:09):
this is like something somebody posted to Twitter.

Kelli (09:12):
Just an ambiance thing.
Okay.

Chris (09:13):
I think it's a walkthrough. Okay, they're

Kelli (09:15):
talking. They're talking Okay, that's what I was
wondering if that's something wecould put on like, YouTube was
asleep time or or?

Chris (09:22):
We'll try that tonight.
Oh, like you. I don't like whereyour head's I don't

Kelli (09:25):
want to be talking to me.
I just want the ambiance. Yeah,

Chris (09:28):
I don't I don't know. I had to see. Okay, we can give it
a go there. Okay. All right.
Okay, so we saw some new artistsrenderings slash photos of the
new island tower at Poly, thenew DVC Island tower. Beautiful.
For the for the folks that arejust complaining about the fact

(09:49):
that it's 10 stories and blah, blah, blah. The grumbly butts
out there, whatever. This thingis beautiful. It's gonna have
some ridiculous was really niceaccommodations, and I cannot
wait to stay in this thing. Andthey said that reservation start
for DVC members on June 4 AnnualPass holders on June 5, and then

(10:11):
other folks on June 6. However, there was a note that said DVC
members can start making pointscentric reservations or points
related reservations. At a laterdate. That's at a mass that
bummed me out because I wasready to get online on June the
fourth and booked something forright after it opens. I think

(10:33):
it's opening in December.

Kelli (10:36):
Yeah, that's kind of a bummer. I mean, I get that DVC
people get sort of first dibs.
But we're probably members. Sowe would be first first dibs.
You would

Chris (10:47):
you would think we can, as long as we're willing to pay
actual dollars for it. Allright. I

Kelli (10:53):
don't want to pay actual dollars. That

Chris (10:55):
was the whole point

Kelli (10:56):
of the DVD. Right. That's the point of it.

Chris (10:58):
I don't want me anyway, for me, I

Kelli (11:00):
don't want to pay actual dollars. But that's fine. That's
fine.

Chris (11:05):
As soon as the time comes, we'll be on we'll jump

Kelli (11:08):
on it because you had to be poly to use points. 11 months
out 11 months, months out. Sothat's right.

Chris (11:14):
And we are Yep. Anaheim has officially approved the
Disneyland forward plan.

Kelli (11:21):
Go and uh huh. Yeah, I mean, like, that's what it
that's a city that's supportiveof some change. I like saying, I
love seeing the city. That'slike, that's right. Go forward.
Let's make this happen. Let's doit. Do it. Anaheim. I like that.
I like that energy. I

Chris (11:41):
do too. I do too. This was the this was the note from
the person who made thisannouncement. They said
Disneyland forward hasofficially and unanimously it's
been approved by the City ofAnaheim and will go into full
effect on June the seventh thisyear. It was approved to
thunderous applause by those inattendance.

Kelli (12:03):
So we're talking about that's that's the energy I won't
come in to change like this.
funder is under US applause Yes,

Chris (12:10):
that's the energy I want to say we love these people
here. Bring in money andresources and fun and whatever
economic Yeah, drives. Yes. Andso if they want to grow it and
do more of it, yes. Let'sapplaud thundersley Yes,

Kelli (12:24):
yes. I like it. Good Energy, Anaheim. Good

Chris (12:29):
Energy. Anaheim. Tiana's by you a venture officially
opens on June the 28th

Kelli (12:35):
still not come on that's a month away they've been
testing this thing since we werethere I mean, how many how many
soft openings at like an out oftown preview are they gonna have
look

Chris (12:48):
it takes one decapitation all bets are off. Okay, so the
test as long as they want totest

Kelli (12:57):
nobody's gonna be decapitated. They removed that
brands Famous last words. No,that branch honey, that was
right at the you know, the drop.
They removed that branch thatwould have decapitated people,
but now where are they gonna bedecapitated by like, right,
Firefly?

Chris (13:12):
I mean, you never know.

Kelli (13:13):
How vicious are we talking about inside they're
just

Chris (13:16):
I just You just I'm just saying. But what's what's

Kelli (13:20):
faciliated doing? What What river have decapitated
people what

Chris (13:24):
has happened? They gotta test to make sure that it's all
fun and games. decapitated. June28 as today, okay, good. That's
the day that all the SplashMountain lovers can just finally
shed their last tears. Godthey've got so many tears.

(13:47):
Whatever.

Kelli (13:48):
Good for me. space for me on the ride. Alright,

Chris (13:53):
so Animal Kingdom has officially retired. The
character flotillas. Rememberthe little flooding boat?

Kelli (14:04):
Yep. Why? Why would they take that joy away?

Chris (14:10):
Because they've officially brought character
meet and greets back to thepark.

Kelli (14:14):
No. That's why these things are not mutually
exclusive. You can have bothwhen you're sitting at Nomad
lounge, and they float by withthe music wave.

Chris (14:26):
And the honestly the I don't believe the meet and
greets involved any of the samecharacters that I saw on the
fly. These things

Kelli (14:33):
are not mutually exclusive you that I love that
they call them flotillas, by theway. I didn't know that's what
they called them, but I lovethat name. So I think you can
have the flotillas and the meetand greets. I agree with that. I
don't think they're mutuallyexclusive.

Chris (14:48):
I agree. Especially considering that Pocahontas is
returning I don't rememberseeing her on one of the photos.
But I do like the Pocahontasmeet and greet. She was great
when we saw To her,

Kelli (15:00):
she really was. I mean, it's a horrible representation
and very inaccurate but she waswonderful. She seemed to be a
lovely human. She

Chris (15:08):
was a lovely human there's some surprise meet and
greets at Ricky's planet watchbut the ones I saw was put into
your

Kelli (15:20):
poo and you're at Rafiq he's played at watch. Come on
people like get that together.
That's a who ought to be atRicky's planet who

Chris (15:27):
ought to be Ricky's planet watch for a fakie fakie
Timon Pumbaa. Yeah, okay. Itsays surprise. It's just the
picture I saw was poo and you'remaybe it's other people. This
Sorrell er he didn't want to beout me Does he want he wants
people to remember him. Now heneeds for know for medicine.
They want people to notice.
We're noticing me. Pluto isreturning to Dinah land USA for

(15:48):
a meet and greet andbirdwatching. Goofy is also
going to be debuting at AnimalKingdom.

Kelli (15:58):
I bet he's dressed to look like a wilderness explorer
birdwatcher.

Chris (16:02):
He's dressed in like a birdwatcher, not a wilderness
explorer but

Kelli (16:04):
watches where if not wilderness, outfits, flannel,

Chris (16:09):
plaid flannel.

Kelli (16:10):
Are you serious? What it looks like he's wearing that is
not what birdwatchers way how doyou know how do you say it not

Chris (16:15):
a birdwatcher? You drove down the road the other day and
you saw one black bird and somered on its wings and you thought
that was a beautiful bird andthat is the closest to bird
watching you

Kelli (16:23):
have ever gone What was most definitely not wearing
flannel?

Chris (16:26):
But you actually bird watch it. You saw a bird you

Kelli (16:30):
do not wear flannel coordinated see not a thing.
According

Chris (16:34):
to goofy they did and goofy has put out a whole line
of how to videos such that itwas Pluto. Pluto has a meet and
greet but this is birdwatchinggoofy that we're talking about
right now.

Kelli (16:43):
I do not think a that's a thing. Goofy. No goofy likes to
fish and dreamlike Valley he'svery into the fish. I don't
think

Chris (16:52):
he has put out a whole bunch of how to videos for
birdwatching. Oh, for all kindsof things. Good. He's a master
of lots of skills and traittrades.

Kelli (17:03):
I'm just saying.
birdwatchers not wear flannel Ithink they were very similar to
the wilderness explorer outfitslike solid khaki, maybe camo to
blend in so the birds don't seethem. I've seen some videos on
YouTube where they like put abowl in their mouth and then
they cover their faces and likeleaves and dirt and they hold
that ball there until the birdlands on it and then they're

(17:25):
like right at eye level with thebird and the birds like eat now
the bowl and the bowls likeattached to their mouth.

Chris (17:31):
I would not be able to do that because it's too close to
me.

Kelli (17:33):
Oh a bird would be very out

Chris (17:35):
bird would be very blurry.

Kelli (17:36):
It would absolutely freak me out. But I'm telling you
right now this people are notwearing flannel this they are
not wearing Have you ever seen apark ranger in flannel? No,

Chris (17:42):
they're not birdwatcher, basically

Kelli (17:44):
are.

Chris (17:49):
I'm gonna tell everybody something. If you think for one
second that this kind of banteris reserved. Just for the
moments were in front of thesemicrophones. You my friend are
wrong. This is this is how lifeis in this house.

Kelli (18:12):
Because I'm willing to argue about birdwatching out
That's right. And if you tell mesome big news like that, that's
the thing. I'm gonna lie

Chris (18:18):
big news. They get the birdwatching, Goofy is the big
news. We're talking

Kelli (18:23):
about what his outfit is.
Lord, you put it in the newsegment I did.

Chris (18:31):
For this very reason, frankly. All right, look, we're
doing something really a littlebit different kind of fun, very
taupe. Hopefully, it's fun. Itwas fun for us, the 200th
episode. So we're taking thatand we're applying it to our
Tomorrowland and World Showcasesegments. So we've got 200, the
the number 200 in air quotesrelated topics that we just

(18:55):
decided to come up with. So forTomorrowland, our prompt here
is, what will Disney be at 200years or so and 100 more years,
right? 100 more years? Right? Sowe're not necessarily just
saying another 150 years of theparks just it will Disney be now

(19:17):
I think mine are mostly Parkcentric, but

Kelli (19:19):
whatever matter mostly Park centric too. Okay,

Chris (19:21):
so another 100 years of Disney, what will what should
what are some things weshouldn't expect? I'll let you
go first and then I'll go okay.
And then you'll go and then I'llgo okay,

Kelli (19:30):
so I think we will see virtual reality experiences in
the park. Okay, you will be ableto have virtual reality goggles
on certain areas of the park forrides, shows and celebrity
interactions, not characterinteractions, but you can
actually interact withcelebrities that are well known
like Disney celebrities, likeLin Manuel Miranda. Interesting.

(19:53):
Okay. So ride shows celebrityinteractions in a VR
environment. I also believe thatthis, these VR experiences will
be fully immersive like Disneywith smells. And like, you know
4d, how sometimes they'll spitwater on you and things like
that I think there'll be fullyimmersive VR experiences. I

(20:15):
think you will have uniqueimpark VR experiences with the
cast, like with cast members.
And when you go somewhere likeEpcot, then when you go into the
countries, there will be VRexperiences there, where it's
beyond just having, you know, incountry cast members, but you
can actually immerse yourselfinto the country in a VR way.

Chris (20:42):
I like it. So So you're saying like, I can walk the
Queen's, what do they call it?
The Queen's mile? What is itcalled over there on the side of
the river? The Queen's somethingwhere you walk by Royal Mile in
Edinburgh? No, no, no, this isthe Queen's something. It's on
the edge of the Thames. You walkfrom basically from parliament.

(21:04):
Oh, yeah, you

Kelli (21:07):
did that?

Chris (21:07):
I did that. Right. Yes.
Absolutely amazing to do that.
Okay, so I don't know which oneto go with first. But I'm gonna
I'm going to leapfrog off thatand say, I had on my list of
virtual visits to the park. Sonot when you're in necessarily
in the park. But it will becomecommonplace to say, You know

(21:31):
what, I'm going to I'm going togo downstairs to the basement
and I'm going to go to Disney.
Right and so I'll be able to goto any park I want to go to and
I will be able to spend sometime fully walkers fully
immersed walking down MainStreet walking through frontier
land. Oops, I stepped in thedirty water in Liberty Square.
Can

Kelli (21:52):
you also ride rides?

Chris (21:55):
Like, like, you know, the ride along type videos, right?
But here's what's going on. Sotoday we have, we don't have
like one of those super cooltheater setups. But we in our
basement, we've got some big TVsand a big couch right? For movie
nights or whatever. In in thefuture. We're all going to like
have VR setups. Think ReadyPlayer One, like the movie,

(22:18):
except now the hollow floor isavailable? Yes. Right? They just
patented and invented the hollowfloor. So you can walk Omni
directionally on this on thistile floor. But in 100 years,
that's what we're all going tohave in our spaces. And we're
going to literally be able towalk down Main Street USA.
Absolutely. It's gonna be that'sthat's what I have. So I'm just

(22:40):
jumping off point from what yousaid. I agree. Okay, what's
next?

Kelli (22:43):
I also had something very similar to that on my list, but
it also included behind thescenes tours, okay, that you
could do,

Chris (22:50):
like, do the behind the scenes tour or the right yeah,
like yep.

Kelli (22:55):
Okay, so my other thing then that I had was that all
rides are immersive. Okay. Soyou know, the new thing is
immersive land. Okay, this isall rides are immersive. So for
example, in it's a small world, you would actually get to visit
the different countries in theboat, right? As you go through,
we're not just looking atoutfits and kids. It's fully

(23:18):
immersive in that country, whereyou can actually interact with
different cultures and stuff.
You can actually stay at theHaunted Mansion, or the Tower of
Terror. So

Chris (23:30):
like, like, create a haunted mansion place to stay or
I like this. There's

Kelli (23:37):
nearly immerse yourself into specific right? Yeah, yeah,
yeah,

Chris (23:40):
there's there's a guy online that is always like
posting pictures of, say, thelobby of Tower of Terror. And
he's like, would you how muchwould you pay to stay at this
hotel? Right,

Kelli (23:50):
exactly.

Chris (23:51):
We'll be able to do

Kelli (23:52):
it. Yes. And then also your magic band is much more in
sync with where you are in thepark. So for example, you walk
up to a jaw freeze cart, andthey say Hey, Chris, would you
like what you ordered last time?
Oh,

Chris (24:08):
I like that. 200 years for that we got out to be you

Kelli (24:12):
walk up to Skipper canteen and just sit down and
they say bowling party have toyour table is shaking. You know,
they know you're they hate thisthough. Right? They're already
doing it. You know they are.
I've told you before Mickeyknows which stall I use the last
time I was there. And he toldthe people to go clean it after
three people had used like I'mtelling you, they already know

(24:33):
this. They know it. So just goahead and on that shit. Like
when we're when we're leaving.
It's a small world and they putyour name up on the screen. They
know it. They're already usingthis technology. Right? So make
it happen in a way that servesme. Right? I walk up to a cart

(24:57):
and they say, Kelly Are youready for another? Their diet
coke. You know what yes I

Chris (25:02):
bet sent you a push notification that says we see
your near the jaw freeze in theUK. Would you like to stop and
we can go ahead and start yournormal? Yes,

Kelli (25:11):
that's what I'm talking about right there push
notification We know you want topay for we know you prefer the
alcohol version. Just click hereand it'll be ready when you want
my like an extra shot of like anextra shot. That's what the
Joffrey is people are. They'rejust nice like that. And so
that's how it would be. That'show it would be okay, I like it.
I like that. And even better, like the one in the UK. If it

(25:34):
said that with an Englishaccent. I would be like, yes.
You know what? Yes. Give me thatextra shot with your English.

Chris (25:42):
Oh, dumb American accent wouldn't get it done.

Kelli (25:44):
I want to hear in my accent.

Chris (25:45):
What would that would that English flair that they
have? We

Kelli (25:49):
never should have dumped the tea. We shouldn't have never
should have dumped the tea.
Alright,

Chris (25:54):
so yeah. Okay, so I'm gonna jump off that one too. And
say, I think we'll have atOrlando will have in the next
100 years, we'll have two moretheme parks minimum full on
theme parks. But to your point, they're going to be uber
specific and Uber immersive, right, this will be going to

(26:16):
these lands. And so I think whatepic universe is doing now where
they've got four lands, butthey're hugely immersive. Okay.
I envision that Disney is goinga I think immersion is here to
stay. The whole idea forever wasimmersion. Right? The matter
horn is horrible as it is, theidea is for you to feel like

(26:37):
you're really going down andSwiss out slow dying at 140
miles an hour. And they

Kelli (26:45):
nailed it. They did.

Chris (26:48):
But like that's what right, these rods have always
intended, we just now arereaching the technology to
really do it. Right. So I thinkthat that's what we're gonna see
imagine. That's where ourvillains entire thing, Park.
That is nothing but immersivevillage lands, you could scare

(27:10):
the pee right out of people.
Yeah, with some of the villains,if you gave, like if you gave
them truly immersive lands to gothrough? Absolutely.

Kelli (27:22):
I mean, I'm gonna go back to dream like Valley because I
do feel like that's the closestwe've got to an immersive
experience right now. Yeah. Andso if it's like dreamlike
Valley, where you run acrossUrsula in this little pond,
right, when you walk into thevillage, and she gives you a
quest, you have to completelike, go find Merlin, and speak

(27:43):
to him twice today. And he'llgive you X, Y or Z. You know, I
need to make this potion becauseI want to kill mother god awful.
Go and pick five flowers. Likewe can

Chris (27:55):
take the idea of escape rooms and work them into or you
got to work your way out ofright. So your Queens dungeon,

Kelli (28:02):
right? So you're not waiting in lines for the ride.
You can still do that. There'ssome of that. Sure. But take
this whole quest thing from theparks that they've done in some
of them. Yeah. And make thatfully immersive them up a little
where you are interacting withthe characters and completing
quests kind of like what theydid on the Halcyon? Yes, right?
Yes. But in the parks? Yes. Thenthere's not like lines

(28:25):
everywhere. Right? Because mymagic man can be like, go see
Ursula now. Yes, Jeb,

Chris (28:31):
anything else you just had to get out there? All right.
I had one other little thinghere. Assuming that in 100
years, we're not all using StarTrek style transporters, which
would be great. I would lovethat. I'm saying that Skyliners
to all the parks. Yes. Right.
Yeah, that seems obvious, obvious and high speed rail all
across America so that you canget to Disney Parks super fast

(28:52):
by rail.

Kelli (28:55):
I love it, honey. I like it. Okay,

Chris (28:58):
so we're continuing with the 200 Yes, thing here and
we're going into World Showcase.
So we've got, here's our prompt.
It can be your first 200minutes, or it can be your last
200 minutes at any Walt DisneyWorld Park. No lines to consider
in fact, you got the park all toyourself. How do you what do you

(29:21):
spend your first 200 minutes? Oryour last 200 minutes? And what
Park and what do you do? You gofirst you

Kelli (29:27):
go first? Okay, so I'm gonna go to Epcot. Okay. You're
in Epcot I'm in. Okay, and thisis gonna be my last to your last
200 minutes. Nice. So, we'regonna start in Mexico. Okay,
we're gonna go into the Mexicanpavilion, which is one of my
faves. Sure, and it's gonna becompletely empty. And we're
gonna have chefs on staff tomake me a custom meal next to

(29:48):
the water down there. I likebecause I've never eat at that
restaurant because I'm not supercrazy about the menu or the
ambiance. There's secondarilyfour. Right so custom meal there
in the Mexico pavilion, rightand you You're the water, that
would be nice. Then we're gonnaleave Mexico and leisurely
because there's no one else inthe park walk over to the

(30:08):
American adventure where we geta private concert from voices of
liberty. Good idea. And then weget to see the showing of the
American adventure.

Chris (30:17):
Like the show not to see you on your last 200 minute my
last ever would have done any ofthe map that bad

Kelli (30:23):
I would need a nap at this point. And then we're gonna
hit the wine cellar at Italy.
Now I'm giving us 45 minutesthere. So we had I gave us 45
minutes for the custom mealinside Mexico. 30 minutes for
the voices of liberty andadventure show. And then in that
Italy wine cellar 45 minutes, actually, and I don't want to

(30:43):
call it like Supermarket Sweep.
But you know, that's how Ienvisioned it.

Chris (30:51):
In the wine cellar.
bougie Masha with one sellerever

Kelli (31:02):
that you give you give me access to one seller? Can

Chris (31:06):
I Supermarket Sweep this

Kelli (31:10):
45 minutes there. And then we will,

Chris (31:13):
by the way for all of you 80s babies out there Gen X auto
really? Sweep is

Kelli (31:18):
back. Now really? It's bad. Not really. I love super
sweet. Okay, then we're going tohit France. Now I have left us
95 minutes in France. Okay.
Okay, so we've done we've donereally well here. We've got 95
minutes in France. So we'regonna start on the inside at the
Blue luxury. And this is wherewe're going to have the Faraj
cheese plate champagne andchocolate mousse. Love mousse

(31:42):
chocolate. And so that's whatwe're having in the blue
lingerie. Okay, okay,

Chris (31:49):
what the big launch, okay?

Kelli (31:52):
And then we're gonna sounds

Chris (31:53):
like some dirty when you say like neglige

Kelli (31:57):
we leave the boot luxury.
And we go to like artists ondice glass ace, right outside
first from ice cream, right? Butwhat we get is the croque glass
A, which is going to be onescoop, one sauce pressed in a
brioche. Okay, right and sowe're going to screw that up.
We're not screwing that up thistime. Don't get the macaroons.
Get the croak get the quoteglass A so then we're going to

(32:20):
carry our quote glass essaysover to our reserved seating for
the show. Yeah, and we will eatour quote glass ace while eating
the night what

Chris (32:35):
is our reserved seating?
Is that that little platformwhere they they gave pixie dust
is that times a little are we onthe boat?

Kelli (32:42):
No, no, it's the platform platform. It's the platform.
Okay, really shouldn't get onthe boat after you've had this
much alcohol. Okay, and so Ithink that finish your 200
minutes finish our twointermidiate is right there with
the show just for us luminous oris it something special show but
I'm good with luminous maybeit's harmonious maybe they go
back to harmonious just for us.

Chris (33:00):
They gotta turn that circle though around so that
it's facing us. Yeah, but Iliked

Kelli (33:05):
luminous. I thought that was fine. But whatever the
nighttime show is we get aprivate viewing while we eat our
croak LSAS.

Chris (33:11):
I like that. Yeah, okay.
Okay. glad you did. Okay, because it was really a coin
flip for me. It's either. It wasgonna be nighttime for me also.
I mean, I love that those firstfew steps into the park, you
know, in the morning and allit's great. But I truly loved
the parks at night. They're sospecial. I will in the Magic
Kingdom. Okay, so I'm glad thatmy coin flip went there. Okay,
I'm doing the last 200 minutes.

(33:34):
So I am going to start my last200 minutes at whatever time the
The fireworks are. So I'm gonnago and we'll just assume it's
nine, nine o'clock five I let'ssay it's nine o'clock. Okay, so
it's nine o'clock fireworks. Andwe're talking was two minutes is

(33:54):
three hours and 20 minutes, right. So we're talking right up
through just after midnight, right? And so I am going to grab
a Casey's footlong hot dog. AndI'm going to sit since I've got
the puck out of myself out ofyourself. I'm going to sit down

(34:17):
on my butt. Because you're neverallowed to do that.

Kelli (34:22):
Sit down on

Chris (34:24):
my butt. In the right in the middle of Main Street right
between the two grassy Hubbs

Kelli (34:30):
breezes maybe you should be in a hot no because they're
off

Chris (34:33):
ski. They're off center.
They're off center. Grass isnice it is but I'm gonna I'm
gonna sit right in the middle ofMain Street. I'm nobody's
coming. I'm here by myself.
Right? And I'm watching theshow. I'm watching happily ever
after. That's the show I'vechosen to watch and I'm gonna
eat my hot dog. Right thenimmediately. Right after that,
like right when the last littletwinkle finishes. I'm gonna go

(34:56):
over to the side of the curb.
And I'm gonna watch the MainStreet Law To cooperate come by,
just

Kelli (35:02):
lovely. That's lovely. So

Chris (35:05):
the fireworks followed immediately by Main Street
Electrical Parade comes byLovely. That's my first hour.
Those two experiences areroughly 30 minutes each, okay.
Okay, so that's my first hour, then I'm walking straight
through the castle. And I'mgoing to hit in this order. It's

(35:28):
a small world. I'm going to comeout of there, I'm going to
across the street to peer painbecause it's walk on man. It
never is one that I'm going tohave to mention that I'm going
to Big Thunder, Tiana's by youadventure pirates that I run
across the park to SpaceMountain. Okay, then I'm going
to hit Tron. Then I'm going tohit seven dwarfs mine train. And

(35:54):
that I'm going to spread 30minutes around for walking time.
Between all those rideshappening my biggest traverse is
going to be from Honda mentionedthe Big Thunder and then from
pirates over to Space Mountain.
Otherwise, it's all pretty tightthere. After that, I've got 55
minutes left after that. Okay, okay, so I had done all my
favorite rides. I have seen thefireworks I've seen the parade.

(36:18):
I'm killing those first twohours killing it. I've got 55
minutes left. Here's where I'vejust gotten off of the Seven
Dwarfs. And I am going to now inmy last 55 minutes stroll
leisurely around Main Street.
I'm gonna go in and out of theshops I might get some sweets at

(36:41):
the confectionery I might get asouvenir at the end. Or you
might get some special IRS thatone place that the ears
underclassmen at that time Ichose to go and buy those ears.
I do that. Yeah, I love lots ofpictures with me. I'm gonna get
a picture at every photo stopalong Main Street me in the
castle. And so that's how I'mgoing to spend most of the time

(37:05):
and then just right at the end.
I'm going to sit down on MainStreet again and experience the
good night kiss from the castle.
I'm gonna hear Walt Disney dohis little speech and I'm gonna
see the castle give me a goodnight kiss. And then I'm going
to go out of the park. That'sthe end of my rescue. And that's

(37:26):
how I end my 200 minutes. ButI'm leaving Magic Kingdom. I'm
out of the park. So now I'mgonna go hop on the little boat
ferry and not the big boat ferrybut a little bit ferry that goes
straight to the Polynesian.
Gonna go over to the Polynesian.
When I get there. I'm going toget myself a Lappi lap who that

(37:48):
from the Tambu lounge that's thedrink that served inside the
pineapple you get a full onpineapple. And I'm gonna go sit
on the beach and watch the waterpageant on the beach and the
palm leaves and that's I'mending my day. After my 200
minutes.

Kelli (38:01):
I do think you may have stretched the rules.

Chris (38:05):
I was only in the park for 200 minutes. But here's what
happened to me in a park that'sgot a great topper. Alright,

Kelli (38:12):
so here's here's one thing that I would like to point
out to our listeners is that Iwent to four different pavilions
in Epcot, I didn't even coverthe whole World Showcase. And
there's a lot of sitting a lotof eating and a lot of drinking
there. Yeah, you rode like 15rides in ran yourself silly all

(38:33):
over the place. So when we talkabout how you dragged me all
over the park, I think this is aperfect example of showing if
you have 200 minutes, this iswhat you want to do you want to
sprint from one ride to thenext. And I want 95 minutes in
the French pavilion to eat anddrink. I just think this, this

(38:53):
shows such a clear difference.
The only place I rushed was inthe wine cellar when we went
Supermarket Sweep, and even thatwe're still in one place. So I
just think I just think thatthis particular segment has been
very telling about ourdifferences. And how we plan a
Disney vacation. I'm

Chris (39:16):
letting you go on with this nonsense.

Kelli (39:20):
Because it's right, I'm right.

Chris (39:22):
I am right. I definitely hustle. Or the middle minutes.

Kelli (39:29):
Oh, look, the music's over the first the music's over
first. 60 minutes up.

Chris (39:34):
I'm literally sitting down the last 55 minutes. I
specifically put I'm leisurelystrolling, it's music's
overhead. That is, that is 60Whatever. 60 plus 55 is

Kelli (39:47):
the music over the music's over

Chris (39:49):
of just being leisurely, right and sit literally sit
down,

Kelli (39:53):
but the music's over. And so now I just wanted to point
out how wrong everybody knowsI'm correct. I

Chris (40:02):
did it in a very efficient way there's only two
places yet to actually Alright,

Kelli (40:05):
