A super color,

Kelli (00:03):
super whatever. The incredible thing is.

Chris (00:07):
This is the super color, fragileistic, awesome Disney
Podcast, where each week wediscuss, you guessed it, Disney

Kelli (00:13):
things you know, things you don't know, and things you
didn't know you needed to know.

Chris (00:16):
Well, as Walt would say, the way to get started is to
quit talking and begin doing.

Kelli (00:21):
Oh, wait, wait, wait, I can do this. Okay, please stand
clear of the doors. Por favor.
Man tenga say. Alejaro de laspuertas,

Chris (00:28):
welcome aboard Disney fam. Welcome aboard indeed.
Disney fam. My name is Chris andI'm Kelli.

Kelli (00:40):
We are killing it. We are.

Chris (00:41):
Does it feel like because this room is so empty that we've
got more of an echo?

Kelli (00:44):
There's definitely more of an echo. Definitely an echo.
You

Chris (00:47):
screwed that up. What ears are going with? Huh?

Kelli (00:52):
I'm wearing my space mountaineers because that's
weird. The entire they're ontopic for the entire episode,

Chris (01:02):
maybe adjacent? What they're adjacent?

Kelli (01:05):
A topic adjacent? Yeah,

Chris (01:06):
really. I mean, we're talking future,

Kelli (01:09):
okay, today,

Chris (01:10):
for sure. So in that sense, we're not talking Space
Mountain specific stuff.

Kelli (01:16):
I didn't know we were being that picky about the ears.

Chris (01:19):
Sorry, we have, I know there are people that this is
like, what they listen to theshow for.

Kelli (01:25):
Okay? Well, there you go.
Space mountaineers. They are andI think they're on topic. You
think they're adjacent. But hey,did anybody listen to us last
week?

Chris (01:34):
It's shocking sometimes, but they do again. I think this
is a fake name for town, but Ilooked it up. It's real, okay,
Gibsonia, Gibson. It was namedafter a guy whose last name was
Gibson.

Kelli (01:47):
So did he make the guitar?

Chris (01:50):
No, he did not make the guitar.

Kelli (01:53):
Did he make Gibson? He did? He don't. They also make
amps,

Chris (01:58):
very important in this town, I don't know. I didn't
read exactly what? Not

Kelli (02:02):
for guitars. No, not

Chris (02:03):
for guitars, guitars, guitars,

Kelli (02:07):
guitars. I'm sorry. And I said, guitar, you do there's
it's because there's a T.

Chris (02:12):
It's because you're from South Carolina,

Kelli (02:15):
there's a T.

Chris (02:16):
This is a tiny unincorporated township just
north of Pittsburgh. Get this, though, they should name it
salonia, because Jonas Salk wasliving there when he developed
the vaccine for polio. Oh,

Kelli (02:29):
that's funny. I was not going there at all. I thought
you were about to talk about theshoes salconis.

Chris (02:38):
Off to a rip. Wrong start,

Kelli (02:40):
I gotta tell you. And this is exactly how I thought it
was gonna. Chemistry is on pointthere. It's right there.
Alabaster

Chris (02:47):
Alabama. This is a lot of alabas in the alabaster Alabama.
35,000 fine folks, about 30miles south of Birmingham. Wow,
Birmingham, Birmingham. Not Notthat one different one, not
Birmingham. They probably don'tpronounce it that way in England
anyway, they probably pronounceit Yorkshire.

Kelli (03:09):
They definitely say Birmingham.

Chris (03:11):
Chandler Arizona. I love Chandler Arizona. Not that I
don't love the other towns too,but Chandler Arizona is a great
place, right outside of Phoenix, home to truckloads of
professional athletes, becauseit's such a nice place to live.
I

Kelli (03:25):
just think like weather.
I

Chris (03:27):
think weather, I think the proximity to Phoenix, but
not being in Phoenix, they got alot of that. They got a great
poker room at one of theircasinos in Chandler Arizona.
Well, it's near ChandlerArizona. Okay. Football players
love to live there. And here wego. Fortaleza, Brazil, situated

(03:50):
on the northeastern coast ofBrazil, known for its beautiful
beaches. I zoomed in on Google, and it is, it is gorgeous.

Kelli (03:59):
We need to put that on the list. For taleiza, Brazil,
on our list. I

Chris (04:02):
think there's a lot of places in Brazil we'd probably
go to before we went toFortaleza, and still get
beautiful beaches. Okay, well, all right, you ready for I'm
ready. Let's

Kelli (04:12):
have the news. I'm

Chris (04:13):
excited. Okay, real quick. Thing here, the new
Country Bears opened up. We hadsomething else say, right? Oh,
yeah. We're moving. We're movingnot out of Lincoln, not out of
Nebraska. We're moving a grandtotal of about three and a half
miles. We

Kelli (04:30):
are moving three and a half miles, but for really great
reasons, yes, and it's gonnaopen up our travel calendar like
never has. We're gonna

Chris (04:39):
bring we're gonna bring Disney from around the world to
this podcast. I'm not I'm notjoking now we're laughing like I
made a joke. I'm

Kelli (04:49):
not you. You want Tokyo next I

Chris (04:51):
want Tokyo next summer. I want to go to Tokyo Disneyland
and Tokyo Disney Sea.

Kelli (04:58):
Yes, and the move is going to make that. Pop. It's
gonna make that so we are veryexcited about it, but it's gonna
make for a chaotic time. It'salready made for a chaotic time.
Yes, we decided to list thehouse about a month ago. We
bought a house, we sold a house, and now we're just waiting on
both things to close andscheduling moves and scheduling

(05:19):
repairs. And, you know, naturally scheduling paint and
wallpaper and things of thatnature. So it's just a bit Cray
up in here

Chris (05:30):
as per use, but a little more chaotic than normal. For
sure, more chaotic than normal.
Why we've got all this echogoing on here? Yes, because

Kelli (05:37):
we've lost a lot of our pillows. But in any case, we are
still, you know, trying our bestto get things done on the
podcast every week. But justrealize, between now and
probably the end of September, the schedule is going to be just
bit Oopsy daisy. So we're going,we're doing our best up in here,

(05:59):
and we will come to you when wecan, and we will love every
minute of That's right, it'ssuch a,

Chris (06:03):
it's a it's a break from from life, and we need it. Yep,
absolutely all right. So lookthe country. Since the last time
we recorded the country bear, new show opened up. Okay? And
it, by all accounts, ravereviews. Oh gosh, rave reviews.
People are either I can't waitto go see it. Rave reviews. So
but unfortunately, they like, ontheir first or second day, they

(06:26):
did have something happen, andthe folks were, like, asked to
leave the leave the the

Kelli (06:33):
leave the theater. Okay, all right, but

Chris (06:36):
at the same time, see, there's a sight gag in the in
the show that one of the bearsis playing the guitar so
ferociously it starts to smoke.
He's like, it's, it's, it's, shetears it up, catches on fire.
Okay, well, that moment of theshow was about the time also
that they asked people to leave,ah, and so people that were have
me actually thought that thetheater was on fire. Oh, because

(06:59):
the bear just, Bear was justtearing up guitar. So ferocious
guitar, okay,

Kelli (07:05):
the guitar. Don't make fun of me. Fun of me. You say it
too.

Chris (07:10):
I do so, so, yeah. So no, there was no country bear on
fire. Just put that. Bear

Kelli (07:18):
is on fire. Good one.

Chris (07:22):
Um, the the Disney Destiny news cruise ship beyond
the treasure is set to sailNovember of next year. They just
pumping out ships. Just wait, that's like a that's a huge
heaping ball of four chasm.
Forecast, foreshadowing. I man.

(07:46):
Oh me, I mix up the wordsforecast orgasm for some reason
and foreshadowing,

Kelli (07:56):
I'm telling you y'all episodes might not be steady for
the next six weeks, but they'regonna be fun, so I recommend you
stick around. I

Chris (08:07):
mean, I'm the one that's the same one here, truth. So
Disney has submitted a patent toto for a new way to test ride
safety. I found thisfascinating. So when they have a
roller coaster that they, thatthey, you know, they tell you to
keep your arms and legs insidethe coaster at all times well,

(08:27):
but people do put raise theirarms up right all the time. And
what? What never happens? Yourarms never get chopped off. Your
arms don't ever get chopped off.
That's because they literallywill put this either plexiglass
or fiberglass, or even justplywood model frame around the
thing that that is further thana human being's hands and

(08:51):
whatnot will go just to makesure nobody gets and then they
literally manually drag a RollerCoaster the car through the ride
to see if it's going to hitanything, because we don't want
to dismember a guess, that'salways frowned upon.

Kelli (09:10):
That's something they really have to worry try to
avoid, no dismembering guests.

Chris (09:15):
So they've they like, you know, it's 2024 and we got all
these sensors and lasers and allthese sort of things. So they've
submitted a patent to do thatsame testing, but with sensors,
and it's going to just rev, they'll be able to let the

(09:36):
machine, let the coasteractually go on its own power,
instead of having peoplemanually drag the thing,

Kelli (09:42):
is it wrong that I think I would trust the Plexiglas and

Chris (09:45):
the Yes, it is wrong, especially for you. It's not
wrong for me, because you're anearly adopter and you are, am an

Kelli (09:52):
early adopter, but I don't think I want a drone or a
sensor figuring out how big myarms are. Yeah, it's gonna. It'd
be. Fine, like I think I wouldrather have it Kelli shaped
Plexiglas.

Chris (10:03):
It's gonna be less downtime for the rides. So we're
all for it. Okay,

Kelli (10:09):
unless

Chris (10:09):
somebody loses over

Kelli (10:10):
the part that there's a haunted mansion parlor in the
Disney destiny or was I just notlistening?

Chris (10:16):
Yeah, I said it because, see, I'm

Kelli (10:19):
looking at your notes.
For the first time ever. I'venever seen your main street
notes. I know, and normally Idon't skip a bunch of them, but
you skipped so many. But there'sa devilles piano lounge, a
pirates pub and a hauntedmansion parlor, and you didn't
say that, and I think that'simportant to note haunted
mansion parlor. Yeah, theyshould put that on all their
ships, because right now, as itstands, if you and I go on a

(10:41):
Disney cruise, we're only goingto go on the treasure because
that's where the Haunted Mansionparlor is, yes, but you're
telling me that the destiny isgoing to have one too now. So
now there's two ships we couldgo on.

Chris (10:53):
Yep, oh no, there will be at the end of next year,

Kelli (10:57):
right? That's but that's what I'm saying. Okay, why did
you skip all the other thingsyou

Chris (11:01):
remember? Like before the show started, and I said we're
gonna spend a significant amountof time in the news segment on
the Disney legends.

Kelli (11:10):
Disney legends are not listed in your news segment. Oh,

Chris (11:12):
right, because I just added them.

Kelli (11:15):
Oh my gosh, but that's why skip the piranha mug
available at trailer Sam's.

Chris (11:20):
We're never doing it this way again.

Kelli (11:25):
That's huge. The piranha mug at Trader, Sam's and the
reflections dBc Lakeside resortis back on. Okay, now I've
caught us up. Now you keepmoving to your Who'd you say?
The Avengers, the team, somekind of a team situation. What's
it? The Disney legends legends?
This a superhero thing?

Chris (11:45):
No, oh, let's start over the Disney legends. So I like
this, d 23 now every year theythey finish out D 23 by having
the Disney legends inductionceremony. It's like the Disney
version of the Hall of

Kelli (12:03):
Fame for actual people, right? Yes, it's not like Donald
Duck became a legend.

Chris (12:08):
Donald Duck is also a legend.

Kelli (12:11):
Is he like? Sure he's in the hall of fame he

Chris (12:13):
should be. I only know for sure about this year's class
because I've got it in front ofme right now. You see completely
checked

Kelli (12:22):
this episode,

Chris (12:24):
it appears that like 11 people were inducted this year.
Okay, that's not right,

Kelli (12:29):
like 11 or definitely 11.
It's

Chris (12:31):
not even 11. I just can't count. How many 1414,

Kelli (12:39):
it's 14. Looked like 11 on your screen, Honey, where are
your glasses? Oh, my goodness.

Chris (12:47):
It was hosted last Sunday night by Ryan Seacrest, of
course, because he closedeverything. I even think Kelli
Ripa made a joke during theceremony that she was so glad
that Ryan Seacrest had foundsomething else to host. Awesome.
So, and it's available to streamon Disney plus as of last night.

(13:09):
Oh, if we want to see thelegends ceremony, yes, so some,
some call outs Angela Bassett isnow. Oh, I mean, teapot man. I
don't even want to crank solet's just recount what just
happened. I don't we may noteven get any more of these

(13:30):
legends. Yeah, yeah, I know. Isaid, Angela Bassett. This
happens so often. This is such aglimpse into our lives. I said,
Angela Bassett. She says, Oh,the teapot. That's not Angela
Bassett. That's Angela Lansbury.
That's murder. She wrote. She

Kelli (13:48):
wrote, yeah, there's absolutely Angela lansbury's in
there.

Chris (13:53):
I'm sure she's a Disney legend, because she was in bed
knobs and broomsticks also, I'msure. So who's

Kelli (13:59):
Angela Bassett?

Chris (14:02):
That's to Charla, Mama.
Oh,

Kelli (14:04):
I love her. I

Chris (14:05):
know you do. Okay,

Kelli (14:07):
great, okay,

Chris (14:09):
I thought the beautiful, middle aged black woman was an
elderly, dead white woman, butwhatever Angel

Kelli (14:15):
Lansbury is dead man,

Chris (14:21):
I don't want to say I hope so, but after saying that,
I really do hope so.

Kelli (14:28):
I don't remember hearing the angel Lansbury had died. So
sad, the segment has gonecompletely awry. I don't even
remember what the news was.

Chris (14:41):
I'm not going to talk.
Music's ended, tight 35

Kelli (14:51):
that's the goal. Tight 35

Chris (14:55):
oh gosh, okay. Look, I'm gonna intro this. Okay, because
you are out of control.

Kelli (14:59):
The guy. And I think I'm on it. I am most definitely on
my game. We

Chris (15:03):
are gonna have 30 minutes to just giggle. So as we just
sort of hinted at D 23 Expothose it's got the longest name
in the world after D 23 Expojust completed this weekend. It
started, I think, Thursday, andit has been just chock a block
full of cool activities andwhatnot. We decided we were

(15:26):
going to focus both Tomorrowlandand World Showcase this week on
Park related things. Now, Walt,Disney World, got the lion's
share of the news which itneeded to. Everybody's always
complaining about California andright everywhere else getting
these cool things. So you'regonna take that, and then I'm
gonna talk about just some otherthings that they also announced

(15:49):
that are experience related.
This isn't movies and TV and allthe other stuff that they
covered, right? And

Kelli (15:53):
hopefully we'll have like a bonus episode covering those
things like we did last year.
Sure. Okay, so then I'm gonnastart, yeah, go for it. Okay, so
this is stuff coming to DisneyWorld. Yes, okay, so let's start
at Magic Kingdom.

Chris (16:06):
This is my most favorite one. Oh, my God. So we can do
this.

Kelli (16:11):
I know I don't like us. I don't either. Okay, we're not
gonna do it like that again. Sothe first thing is, what if I
just skipped What if

Chris (16:19):
I went down? Break me good to me with the

Kelli (16:23):
cruise ship and the tiki mug. So the first thing is the
Disney starlight. This is a newnighttime parade. So here is how
the official announcement iswritten. Disney Starlight will
continue the nighttimespectacular legacy started by
the Main Street ElectricalParade, using the latest
technology to tell new storiesabout the characters you love.

(16:46):
All of this is brought to lifeby the magic of the Blue Fairy.
Who's the Blue Fairy? Pinocchio?
Really? Yeah, we call Pinocchiothe Blue Fairy.

Chris (17:00):
We call the fairy in Pinocchio the Blue Fairy.
There's

Kelli (17:04):
a fairy in Pinocchio.

Chris (17:11):
Off the rails.

Kelli (17:14):
Okay, well, how do you think he gets his legs? There's
some Bobo fairy. How do you? Howdo you that's blue and it's not
kin to Tink. Is she kin to Tink?
Is it her own fairy? Or arefairies gender neutral? I don't
know. Okay, Blue Fairy, inaddition to the beloved
characters from Walt DisneyAnimation Studios films Peter
Pan and Kanto frozen and more.

(17:35):
So this sounds like the BlueFairy is gonna, like lead this
parade, and she's gonna bring inand tell us new stories about
all these characters that welove. I don't know why we're
focusing on the Blue Fairy. Thisjust is, why wouldn't it be
Tink? Tink, it's all a lot oftank has a meet and greet pink

(17:56):
flies by her teeth like

Chris (18:01):
that. First Lady. Here you are. Why would, oh, man, why

Kelli (18:09):
wouldn't we use Tink here? I don't know why zero. I
didn't even know it existedExactly.

Chris (18:15):
She needs some love. No.
Fairy Godmother gets all kindsof stuff,

Kelli (18:19):
right? Fairy Godmother.
It could or the one they nevergets any love because nobody
knows it exists.

Chris (18:27):
It could be those three fairies in Sleeping Beauty,

Kelli (18:29):
the most recent Pinocchio movie was a huge fail. Well, I
don't so I don't know.

Chris (18:36):
What do you think made the guys legs come to life?
Well, you are,

Kelli (18:39):
you are slowing down my segment. Okay, okay. You're
excited about this one becauseyou think it's going to be like
the electrical

Chris (18:47):
it is great, and I'm giving it all the love. Okay,

Kelli (18:51):
okay, I'm for it. We have

Chris (18:52):
no shot next. We've

Kelli (18:54):
got the Pirates of the Caribbean tavern. This looks
like it's immersive. You'rehoping for it to be like trader
Sam's, or maybe have someperformers like the adventures
club. Where's this tavern goingto be? It's

Chris (19:07):
going to be over there across Tortuga. Yeah, okay, over
in that area, they

Kelli (19:12):
need to do more with Tortuga. I agree. Over there,
that Tortuga Tavern is notnearly as you see, something
raucous enough. Have you beendrinking? No, this is water in
my Stanley. Gosh, okay, it'sjust been quite the day, honey.
I don't know what to say. Imight have fallen asleep during
shavasana yoga. I mean, I justit's been a day, I don't know.
Well, that opens next year.
Okay. Well, I'm glad, I'm gladthey're doing something there. I

(19:34):
don't think the Tortuga tavernsgot a good menu, and I think
they can work on that. Now,we've got two cars attractions
coming. These are going to takeus out of Radiator Springs and
into the American west as partof the reimagined frontier land.
One is a thrill ride racedthrough the mountains with
geysers and mud holes, and theother is a more friendly,

(19:55):
friendly ride. These are whatkind of family friendly Gotcha?
Family friendly, right about twoto five years out. So do we do
we think these are going to belike the cars ride in Disney in
California?

Chris (20:09):
They it's more of a that is a like a race through
Radiator Springs. This is morelike an off roading adventure,
is what I

Kelli (20:17):
get. Okay, all right, I'm for that. And then, of course,
I'm going to send them a billfor this next one. Here they are
doing a villain's land that ismost likely going to be located
on the backside of rivers inAmerica, and it could actually
impact rivers in America. Nowhere's what I'll say is,
apparently the Disney Twitterverse is just blowing up over

(20:38):
this that Rivers of America andTom saw your island might be
coming down, right? This, whatyou told me earlier, be replaced
by these things. Look, y'all, nobody goes to Tom Sawyer
Island. It's rarely open, andthe the steamboat closes at like
noon, like anytime I'm bored andthere's long lines or whatever,
I'll be like, oh, let's go geton this steamboat. But then it's

(21:00):
closed. And then the last timewe were on the steamboat, nobody
was on it, and I looked down inthe water, and I think I saw
oil. And so I don't know thatit's actually steam. I think
it's make believe steam, andit's really like putting gas
into that lagoon. And so I thinkmaybe it's killing some stuff,
and that we should be moreenvironmentally friendly. Get

(21:21):
rid of the boat has nothing todo with Disney, and nobody cares
about Tom Sawyer Island. Okay,so let that go. People. Bring it
down. It's time for newinnovations and fun things,
right?

Chris (21:36):
Okay, I was, I was chatting online with our good
friends over at Disneyassembled. They posed a
question, what was the mostcontroversial thing announced?
And I said, oh, people are goingto lose their mind over exactly
this thing. And my thoughts onit are, you can't complain about
this kind of stuff and alsocomplain about long lines at the
other rides, because there's nothere aren't enough attractions,

Kelli (21:59):
right? Because nobody's going there. It's not doing its
part for crowd control. You gotto put something there that's
going to draw the people. And

Chris (22:06):
I don't know what else needs to hear this, but that
ain't a real River. It's not, itdoesn't go down the Rivers of
America. No, no, no, but

Kelli (22:15):
there are ducks and stuff in it from time to time. No,
there are ducks. I've seenducks. There's tons of ducks at
Disney. It's they've got, like,a whole Instagram account. I'm
just saying that, like, I thinkwe should get rid of the boat
that's polluting the river, thefake River, whatever. Okay,
sure. Moving on. Blog Mickeysays this, new villains. Land

(22:35):
will encompass all of yourdreams, nightmares. The space
will be home to two majorattractions, dining, shopping on
an incredibly twisted, grandscale. Work has already started,
but still two to five years outfor completion.

Chris (22:51):
Here's what I'm saying.
Okay, imagine that. What if thathad already been there for the
last 30 years? You you wouldabsolutely be bonkers, bananas,
go nuts for it.

Kelli (23:06):
Yeah. Now it's going to be huge, I mean. So we're
talking about two basically newlands. So this is going to be an
expansion like the size ofPandora, I

Chris (23:15):
think so like between both of them, because they're,
they're basically reimaginingfrontier land, and they're gonna
put it in a villains land. It'sgreat for it. That's great just,
just shrink up the size ofLiberty Square. A little bit
easy. I mean, they're safebecause that's where, that's
where the boat is, the riverboat is in Liberty Square. It's
also where my hunting mansionis. Well, nothing's ever gonna

(23:36):
happen. Careful, nothing's gonnahappen to that. But that Liberty
Bell thing, I think, is probablygoing away. Oh, you can get rid

Kelli (23:41):
of the Liberty Bell, and you can get rid of get rid of
the the thing next to LibertyTree tavern. What is that? The
diamond horseshoe. Nobody goesthere. That's right. Okay, so
reimagine that. That's right.
Okay, so now we're going to moveover to animal kingdom. So
tropical America details havebeen announced. So that's what
we're calling tropical America.
Is what we're calling the areathat was, yeah, okay. So it will

(24:03):
take place in the all new PuebloEsperanza, or Village of Hope,
in an all new Indiana Jonesstory that's going to replace
the dinosaur an Encanto ridethrough attraction through
Casita, bringing the furnitureto life and carrying us through
the house, ending up inAntonio's room, which is, of
course, the best room in thehouse. And I hope there's

(24:24):
animals everywhere in arainforest,

Chris (24:26):
that's why you choose his room. Course, Animal Kingdom no

Kelli (24:29):
Antonio has the best room. A new carousel made by the
town's wood carver, and theHacienda will take over the area
currently held by restaurantassaurus, and will be one of the
largest quick servicerestaurants at WW. It will serve
regional delicacies. Now, thisis all supposed to open in 2027

(24:54):
that's a lot, a lot. That's alot for two years. You know, it

Chris (24:58):
that, by the way, I'm calling it. Audible. I'll take
over and take from Epcot down.
And I

Kelli (25:03):
was gonna do the Zootopia. Okay, you did. You
could do so the next one isZootopia. It's called Better zoo
gather, which I don't know. Ithink they could have worked a
little harder on that, a littlemore. This is gonna be the new
show in the Tree of Life, replacing A Bug's Life. And it's
expected winter 2025 I'm forZootopia. I love Judy the Bucha,

(25:23):
Judy Hopps, Judy Hopps and thesloth. I mean, I cannot get
enough of that sloth every time, every time he moves, I just die
laughing. So I think, I thinkthat's gonna be fun. I'm, I'm
for that. I think we could haveworked a little bit harder on
the name.

Chris (25:41):
I'm gonna just take the opportunity here too. I know I'm
late to the party on Zootopia, plus on on Disney plus, man, the
show is cute. It's great. LoveZootopia. Just, here's another
plug to go watch that after it'sbeen out for like, two years.
Okay,

Kelli (25:56):
so you're gonna pick up here at Epcot, Yep,

Chris (25:58):
I'll pick up here at Epcot. Okay, we'll do. We're all
showcase here. All right, so atEpcot, there's a new lounge
coming to Spaceship Earth. Not alot of details on it. I'm
assuming it's going to take overthat space, or most of that
space, where you exit SpaceshipEarth and they've got that big
globe where your your picture, sort of dives down into where

(26:21):
you came from. Wait. Is

Kelli (26:23):
this a lounge for everybody or just everybody?
This

Chris (26:25):
is an everybody lounge.
Wow. Wow with your privilege.
Gosh,

Kelli (26:35):
what a shared lounge area. Man,

Chris (26:37):
opening in 2025, you are.
You are shameless what you are.
Blog Mickey describes it as itwill take inspiration from the
geometric sphere the Zen spacefor families. Families got you
there anyway. Yeah, reallytogether and enjoy refreshments
will be draped with richtextures and warm metallic

(26:58):
tones, giving it a mysteriousand elegant intimacy. That's
fine.

Kelli (27:02):
I mean, I'll just be over there in the pyramid thing. I
hear you over figment in myprivate lounge.

Chris (27:14):
Oh man. And test track three point there. Now some of
us remember the original testtrack and and, of course, test
track two point 2.0 that we knowand sort of love today is going
away, set to reopen in 2025that's a pretty fast turnaround
for what it sounds like they'regoing to do there either. Well,

Kelli (27:34):
I think they basically just update, like the technology
and sort of re skin it, but theride itself doesn't usually
change. Well,

Chris (27:42):
I mean, for the second one, it did. I don't anticipate
this one's gonna change all thatmuch, though. I mean, it could
not, you know, they don't. Theydon't turn those things around,
like, super fast. And that'spretty quick for a ride like
that. So, yeah, I mean, I thinkit'll use all the same track and
all, um, is that all? That's allI've got. Okay, Hollywood

(28:05):
studios, a Mandalorian and growgoose scene will be coming to
Smugglers Run. So that's comingin 2026

Kelli (28:15):
Oh, that's interesting. I read that and thought,

Chris (28:18):
this is a problem.

Kelli (28:20):
I thought, yeah, no, you shouldn't have sent me the
notes. I read that and thought, the one where it's different
every time you get in StarTours. Star Tours, because that
would be perfect for Mandalorianand grow goo. Why are we doing
it to Smugglers Run. I

Chris (28:34):
think the Smugglers Run needs to have multiple movies
anyways. Run

Kelli (28:39):
is, I'm just hot take.
It's not good. Okay,

Chris (28:42):
that's not all that ought to take, unless you're the
pilot, unless you're

Kelli (28:45):
the pilot, that's what I'm saying, unless you're the
pilot. Smugglers, wrong is notthat good. So why do I want to
ride it a bunch of times? Yeah, okay, put it on Star Tours.

Chris (28:55):
You asked why? It's because the their movies coming
out in 2026 Yeah, okay, sothey've got a full length
feature film, because it's a PRsituation, yes, energy, okay,
integrated communications iswhat we'd like to call it in the
industry. This will be fun.
Monsters Inc land, thisconstruction to begin next year

(29:18):
and open in 2030 Wow, exactly.
This would be a big deal. ThinkToy Story land, but it's
Monsters Inc, yeah, right. Theride sounds awesome. Okay, so
this was Josh de Morrowdescribing it. So if you
remember, in the Monsters Incmovie. They're they're hanging

(29:42):
on to that one door that's sortof zooming around this hallway
of doors or corridor doors orwhatever. That's going to be a
ride. Yeah, that's going to beawesome. So here's how Josh
tomorrow described it. He said,The first time I saw Monsters
Inc, all I wanted. To do wasride on one of those doors, like

(30:02):
Mike and Sully. You'll you'll gointo the factory and experience
the first suspended coaster everat a Disney park. Remember in
the movie how those claws wouldgrab the doors and hoist them up
into the air and take them away.
We're doing that too, and you'regoing along for the ride.

Kelli (30:20):
I mean, I got to tell you, by 2030 this is going to be
a 10 day trip just to do whatyou want to do in the parks,
right? Because they're justexpanding so much, which is, you
know, again, brilliant as

Chris (30:35):
well. They're, they're having to, but they've, they've,
you know, they've been tellingus about the blue sky dream for

Kelli (30:41):
four years. Well, covid slow us down, slew us down,
slowed us down.

Chris (30:47):
I literally have a drink and you're just falling apart
over there, just, I'm

Kelli (30:52):
telling you, it's just been a day, honey, and I didn't
sleep last night, and I'm onlysleeping every other night now,

Chris (31:00):
so hard. So that's the those, this is a disaster.
That's the That's Walt DisneyWorld. That's all just Walt
Disney World. So good on them.
Yeah, it's a lot, especiallyafter what they just did to
Epcot for the last

Kelli (31:16):
you know well, and I mean, they've also made plenty
of changes at Hollywood studiosand animals just open Tiana's,
right? I mean, they've been, they've been doing some stuff.
It's not like they just beenresting on their laurels.

Chris (31:31):
Walt, disney world needed some specific love. Okay? So
other things that are happening,so at Disney's, California
Adventure Park, Avengers, infinity defense and stark
flight lab are going to beopening up, so basically
doubling the number of ridesthat they have in that Park

Kelli (31:54):
campus. Really, really cool. Yeah,

Chris (31:58):
I'd love to see it with Deadpool and Wolverine walking
around. Yeah, that'd be cool. Solet's see here. Four. Count
them. Four new Disney cruiseships will set sail between 2027
and 2031 we've just aboutconvinced ourselves to do a
Disney cruise, just

Kelli (32:17):
about,

Chris (32:18):
I mean, I think we probably, I think we, I think we
have convinced ourselves to do aDisney cruise ship, but it's got
to have a haunted mansionparlor. I understand. So

Kelli (32:30):
Who you trying to convince I'm just saying, like,
it's great that they'relaunching four new cruise ships,
but how many of them are goingto have a haunted mansion
parlor? Well,

Chris (32:38):
if they're smart, they'll have them on

Kelli (32:41):
all of them. Well, let's just see how smart they are.

Chris (32:44):
There are currently five ships in the fleet, with four
under construction right now.
And then these four would bringthe entire fleet to 13 ships. I
guess money on the water. Iguess they decided that they're
making money.

Kelli (33:00):
It seems like they're making money. Good for them.

Chris (33:04):
How about this one? Walt Disney, a magical life will
debut in 2025 and it willinclude the first ever audio
animatronic. Walt Disney, yeah, that's that's pretty strong. I
don't want to be the Imagineerthat has to put that together,
though. Well,

Kelli (33:21):
I mean, here's what's creepy about it is they're
probably going to use his actualvoice with, like, AI or
something, yeah,

Chris (33:29):
and yeah, of course. I

Kelli (33:31):
mean, that's a bit creep tastic. Like, once I'm dead, I
just want to be dead. I don'tturn, that was a real turn, you
constructing like a me, youknow, and having some AI voice
yelling at you through, I justwant to, I just want to die, you

(33:56):
know, I should go and so at somepoint, like, is

Chris (34:00):
this, I don't know. Are we violating him?

Kelli (34:03):
It feels like a violation. It

Chris (34:06):
feels like a bit of a violation. We're not exhuming
him.

Kelli (34:10):
He basically

Chris (34:13):
frosted really, I

Kelli (34:15):
don't know. I think you just made that up. That's right.
Next thing you say he's gonna belike, living on the moon.
Definitely gonna Google that.
That is creepy. Tell me theydidn't freeze him.

Chris (34:27):
I think they did freeze him. Oh, tell you to Google, but
you can't right now. That is

Kelli (34:34):
that feels like a gross violation.

Chris (34:37):
I feel very violated. You get your phone, I can Google it
go ahead, but keep going. Allright, so Disneyland Paris,
they're doing a whole immersivething out there with the frozen
land and all. We saw a lot ofconstruction on that stuff while
we were there last year. Rumoris

Kelli (34:53):
not true. Walt, Disney was not frozen. Thank God that
was. A very creepy little trailyou took us down there.

Chris (35:04):
They are also exhausted.
They are also going to beopening up Pride Lands. This is
a lion king themed land atDisneyland Paris. That's going
to be a really this is going tobe at the Disney Adventure
World, I think, is the reallyterrible name they came up with
for the replacement for WaltDisney Studios. We can do better

(35:26):
than that. When you remember wewent in there and they they had
that they were building that manmade lake out there. That whole
lake is going to be surroundedby immersive lands, frozen land
and the pride lands are two ofthem.

(35:49):
Pandora is coming to Disney'sCalifornia Adventure with two
new attractions there. That's abig deal. We know how what a big
deal Pandora was in Florida, but

Kelli (36:00):
they hope they sell those candles, the candles, the
Pandora candles. What

Chris (36:06):
are you talking about?
Oh, the scented candles. Okay,we don't have much more to go a
cocoa themed boat ride alsocoming to Disney California
victory California Victor Parkreally had to give it well too.

Kelli (36:30):
I like a cocoa themed boat ride I'm shooting

Chris (36:32):
there. Construction begins in 2026

Kelli (36:36):
cut you got it will include cutting edge and edge
and cutting edge animatronics, don't we always include cutting
edge animatronics, likeeverything's cutting edge
animatronics.

Chris (36:53):
People really hate, you know, they hate us.
Other they hate thoseanimatronics with the video
projected face,

Kelli (37:10):
those were cutting edge at one time, I

Chris (37:12):
know, but people hate those. You see lot of hate for
those. They really hate Elsa inthat frozen ride.

Kelli (37:19):
We're missing the outro.

Chris (37:22):
All right. Well, look, if you like this mess, go leave us
a five star rating and leave usa review. If your place allows
