A super whatever

Kelli (00:04):
the UNCITRAL thing is.

Chris (00:07):
This is the Supercalifragilistic awesome
Disney podcast, where, each weekwe discuss, you guessed it,
Disney

Kelli (00:13):
things you know, things you don't know, and things you
didn't know you needed to know.
Well,

Chris (00:18):
as Walt would say, the way to get it started is to quit
talking and begin doing,

Kelli (00:21):
oh, wait, wait, wait, I can do this. Okay, please stand
clear of the doors. Por favor.
Man. Tengas puertas,

Chris (00:29):
welcome aboard Disney.
Fam, hello out there. Disney.
Fam, my name is Chris, and I'mKelli, and we're here to do a
very professional show today, unlike our last outing, right?
You've got your stuff togetherthis time, I'm always

Kelli (00:48):
nothing but professional.
Okay? I am. I'm the definitionof professional when it comes to
this show. And so what years arewe wearing? We're in Slinky dog
ears, which are on topic for metoday, some of my most popular
when I'm walking through theparks, I will say they're also
very comfortable ears, but Idon't think they sell them

(01:08):
anymore in the parks. And sowhen I wear them, especially at
Hollywood studios, I always getstopped, Hey, where'd you get
your ears? Where'd you get yourears? And I'm like, Yeah, I
don't think they sell themanymore.

Chris (01:19):
Where'd you get those ears. You're

Kelli (01:20):
OG man,

Chris (01:25):
nothing, if not OG we had downloads from cool places,
right? New Orleans, Louisiana,New Orleans. Big, easy, nice,
nothing in this world likeBourbon Street. No, I'm saying
good, bad and different, whatever. Nothing like Bourbon
Street. My dad's best friendlikes to say, Man, I did two

(01:50):
tours in Vietnam, but I neverseen like. That's awesome.
Fredericktown, Ohio. Fun fact, okay, birthplace of Luke Perry,
ah Dylan,

Kelli (02:06):
yeah, oh, my goodness.
Yeah, free

Chris (02:23):
sticker to anybody who can tell us what she's doing
right now. And I mean hummingthe song, not losing her mind.
No, no stickers for stating theobvious. Campbellsville,
Kentucky, founded in 1817, byAndrew Campbell. Hey, Andrew,

(02:44):
what do you want to name yourtown? I think we should name it
Campbellsville.

Kelli (02:48):
Is it where the soup was made?

Chris (02:50):
I did not get that. It's where Campbellsville University
is. Though interesting.

Kelli (02:57):
It's like in Disney's dreamlike valley where Gaston
refers to all of the placesGastonia, which

Chris (03:05):
is super funny for us, hilarious we lived not far from
Gaston. Honestly, that

Kelli (03:10):
is exactly what Gastonia would be if Gaston was in
charge. Gaston for sure,

Chris (03:18):
and Melbourne, Australia, oh, coastal capital of
southeastern, Australian stateof Victoria and fun, the
Australian Open. I know. Man,that is super fun. Huge in
Australia. Welcome Australia.
Yeah. Okay, so we were going toalso let the folks know, yes,

Kelli (03:38):
we are officially taking September off. We've done the
best that we can in August, butthe packing is winning, and we
need the weekends

Chris (03:49):
we do. And so we will work be done at the new place,
yes, between now and theofficial move says, and

Kelli (03:56):
so we will take September off in order to move, and we
will be back in October. So thisis going to be last episode for
about four weeks.

Chris (04:04):
I do think we need to fit in a virtual tour, because the
food one, Food and Wine Festivalstarted.

Kelli (04:11):
Okay, all right. Well, that's on you. Okay,

Chris (04:14):
you got it. Can't wait.
Looking forward to it. Okay. Youready for some news?

Kelli (04:19):
Give it to us on

Chris (04:22):
Let's sing. This is probably old news. It's been a
couple of weeks, but Walt DisneyWorld is looking for someone to
play Isabella. Oh, yes, the waythey announced it was Disney
live entertainment is seekingperformers to portray Isabella
from Disney's Encanto for futureopportunities, performers will
have the opportunity to bringthis role to life and some other

(04:44):
stuff. Gotta be five, five tofive, nine with the warm,
engaging and outgoingpersonality.

Kelli (04:48):
Shoot 540 dad, God, once again,

Chris (04:54):
cannot play Isabella awarded

Kelli (04:57):
a lot, but I.

Chris (05:00):
She, I think, is going to be in the new the new start
Disney, Starlight. Is that thename of the new parade that we
heard about? Oh, right, right, right. It's gonna have an
Encanto float. Okay, yeah, theconcept art showed Isabella.

Kelli (05:15):
Okay, all right, so we need her wonder why it has to be
5955 to five nine. Because Ihonestly would have thought she
was taller in the movie

Chris (05:24):
Isabella, yeah, or Louisa, oh,

Kelli (05:27):
I'm thinking I knew it. I knew it. I'm thinking Louisa,

Chris (05:31):
yeah, you are okay, yep.
Although I think that aDisneyland coming up soon, I
think they just announced thistoday, you're gonna be able to
meet Isabella and Louisa

Kelli (05:40):
at a meet and greet.
Nice. Okay, awesome.

Chris (05:44):
Details of the new pirates bar coming to Magic
Kingdom came out and there. Andwhat the concept art shows us,
you know, I said, when we firsttalked about this, I said, I
hope it's like one of thoseplaces where the, you know, the
wait staff, are also performers, and they like, yes, pump on the
bar. Lead us in some pirateshanties, you know? And that's

(06:05):
sort of what the concept artsuggests. There is definitely
someone with an alcoholicbeverage stepping up onto the
bar dressed as a pirate. Okay, that's fun. I don't know what we
should take out of concept art, okay, but that's something that
here's a person that's lookingforward to that, if that

Kelli (06:24):
sounds like fun, and it's definitely where Tortuga Tavern
is, I think

Chris (06:27):
so right there across from the or, well, rather, is it
right there

Kelli (06:32):
across from Pirates of Caribbean? Maybe,

Chris (06:36):
um, or, or it's going to take over the space where they
do, like, they turn kids intopirates. Okay, okay, the little
stage area maybe, okay, so we'llsee where it is. But it looks
really, really cool. I love thein the concept art, the main
light fixture over the bar is ahuge wooden anchor that's got.
That's cool. It's really, reallycool.

Kelli (06:58):
Awesome at

Chris (07:00):
the very merry, not Very Merry Christmas Party, the not
so scary Halloween party thisyear, you can actually meet the
hitchhiking ghosts. It's notreally a meet and greet, but,
you know, in the frontier landarea, there's like a, like a

(07:20):
walkway above the storefrontsand the hitchhiking ghosts are
actually going to be there. Ohmy god. Like, can you can

Kelli (07:29):
never want to go. I've never wanted to go to the
Mickey's Very scary, more than Ido now, I

Chris (07:36):
know you meet them, they look fantastic, by the way, that
the costuming is tremendous.
Yeah, I know. I know missingout. We're missing out by not
just living there every day.
Okay? Epcot Food and WineFestival menus have been
released. We just talked abouthow we need to do a virtual

(07:58):
tour, so I'll take care of that.
Started on Friday. Friday was noThursday was the 29th and it
will run through November the23rd so it's a it's a little bit
short, about a month shorter.
That started about a month laterthis year. Interesting, but I
just saw something today. Theyou know how they always had

(08:20):
that brewing area at the Odysseypavilion, yeah, where they have
all these different wingflavors, there is a Carolina
Reaper wing this year. Oh, wow.
And in the serving container, Ionly saw like two, and the the
write up was, it's deliciousuntil it's not anymore,

Kelli (08:42):
and then you die. So

Chris (08:45):
apparently your face melts off, right? You know the
show hot ones. Apparently DonaldDuck was on hot ones. Oh, my
God, just recently. That'sfantastic. Yes, fantastic. And
so this wing sort of correspondswith that, and it will make you
feel like Donald feels in the inthat show. Oh, that's
interesting,

Kelli (09:06):
because he has quite the tantrum on in Fremont Valley
too. Yeah.

Chris (09:10):
Well, his face is completely red and his eyeballs
turn into volcanoes that eruptwhen he eats one of the hot
wings. Oh, that's fantastic. Butwe obviously have feelings for
the Carolina Reaper because theguy that invented it, Fort Mill
was in Fort Mill, and I meanliterally, right down the road
from where we used to live. Hisstorefront, the pucker butt

(09:32):
pepper company, pepper company, yep. And it always just thrills
me when I see the CarolinaReaper anywhere, knowing where
it came from. That's cool. Soabsolutely, and they do say in
the write up that I saw this, and you know, it's, this is not
going to be the tastiest wingever, but if you'd like to, you
know, challenge yourself toeating something you want to

(09:52):
melt your face off. Incrediblyspicy. This is a good thing to
go for. Okay, easily thespiciest thing Disney has ever
produced. Okay. Uh, something isapparently going on at the hotel
do Canada, in the Canadianpavilion, okay, at the park.
I've never known of anythingthat was actually that actually
took place in there. I mean, Iremember seeing the Hotel de

(10:13):
Canada and all that. And you canwalk back there behind it and
see those cool waterfalls andstuff. But there was a notice of
commencement permit lists Icarusexhibits as the contractor for
the work, and the scope of thework is described as quote,
install set elements. Icarus wasfounded in 1987 near Walt,

(10:35):
Disney World, and theirspecialty is creating themed
immersive and bringing thosethemed immersive environments to
life. And they've been workingwith Disney since the 1990s
specifically with Imagineers atthe Magic Kingdom. And they have
assisted on Galaxy's edge.
Rapunzels bathroom, we know howamazing that is. Best

Kelli (10:55):
bathroom on property.
It's the nice, the prettiest,it's the prettiest, it's the
prettiest. The only bathroom Iknow of that has a photo op,
right?

Chris (11:04):
So, yeah, this is a this bathroom so nice. It's got a
photo op, although it means thatit's the inside of that bathroom
is going to be a disaster. Oh,

Kelli (11:12):
yeah, no, I don't use the inside of it. It's way too many
strollers out there. Exactly.
Bathroom with that much strollerparking is a bad idea. Bad idea.
Yeah,

Chris (11:20):
Toy Story land. They worked on Tiana's and Tron.
They've helped with all thesethings, and now they're working
on the hotel at Canada. So,okay, I just saw you know, I
wonder what's going on there.
Canada could use something else.
Okay, the Disney destiny willmake its maiden voyage on
November the 20th next year. Sothis will be the next, newest

(11:43):
ship to come out. They're reallygrowing that fleet. It'll sell
out of Fort Lauderdale, typically, will be a Western
Caribbean and Disney Islandcruise. Although that maiden
voyage is going to go to bothDisney islands, they have cast
Castaway Cay and lookout K,okay, and this, that main voyage
is going to hit both of thosespots, which will be a lot of

(12:06):
fun. All right, I'm sure theDisney destiny will be just
beautiful and great. Probablynot what the Disney treasure is,
frankly, probably, but you canstart booking that, that maiden
voyage as early as, like, inlike, 12 days.

Kelli (12:21):
Wow, this

Chris (12:22):
year, September 12 this year, right? And a few new
details have been released forthe new poly or the island. New
Island tower at Polynesianresort. We've got a friend who's
really kind of jerky and goingto the Polynesian this week.
Kind of

Kelli (12:40):
constantly going to Disney and like so we then we
have to hate them having

Chris (12:44):
brunch at homecoming like today, and shoving it right in
my face. Please don't stop doingthat. By the way, if you hear
this, please don't stop. Um,yeah. So they announced that at
the new island tower atPolynesian will be the wailu Bar
and Grill. So Disney says this, the new wailu Bar and Grill
located within the additionevokes the natural beauty of the

(13:08):
islands, from banquet seatingsurrounded by by flowing water
to a lava rock inspired baroverlooking the Seven Seas
Lagoon. It offers breathtakingviews of Cinderella Castle at
Magic Kingdom park. Enjoy on thego, breakfast and then all day,
lunch and dinner, plus a walk upPool Bar and Grill. Nice. I like

(13:28):
it. I'll take that superexciting a walk

Kelli (13:31):
up pool bar in the tower.
Like, up in the tower. No,

Chris (13:35):
I think this is they're gonna have a surface level.
Okay, yeah, okay. Because I waslike, wow, that's all. It's not
a swim up pool bar. It's a walkup.

Kelli (13:43):
But still, to have a pool bar in the tower, like, you
know, 10 stories up or whatever, that seems unique.

Chris (13:49):
It would be unique little bit inefficient, too, if you're
hanging out at the pool. That'swhat I was trying to figure out.
No, no. This is just out frontof the tower. Okay, between the
tower and 17 lagoon castle inthe distance and have yourself
drink and eat. They'll also havea Moana voice splash area. The
tower addition will include anew fitness center and pool area

(14:11):
offering both aquatic fun and arelaxing escape. The new Cove
pool has a courtyard with asandy beach, a whirlpool spot
and magnificent views of thelagoon, little ones can discover
moanas voyage, a new splash areawith a figure of Moana and her
iconic outward canoe.

Kelli (14:29):
That's awesome, because the poly already had a really
great pool area, yeah, so, but,but it wasn't a sand bottom. It
had a sloped entrance, yeah, butit wasn't a sand this won't be a
sand

Chris (14:40):
bottom pool. It's just going to have its own sandy
beach out front. Oh, just asandy beach. Okay, that's my
take. Okay, I could be wrongabout that. I hope I am wrong,
because I enjoy the sand

Kelli (14:49):
bottom pool at the Yacht Club, for sure, yeah, for sure.
That's cool thing. It

Chris (14:54):
needs a challenger. Yeah,

Kelli (14:55):
yeah, that's nice.

Chris (14:57):
Well, I'll send a note.
Do it,

Kelli (14:59):
honey? No.

Chris (15:00):
All right, maybe you've heard, maybe you haven't, maybe.
But on our last episode, I thinkwe said it's hard to tell,
because you were so crazy. Atthat last episode, we were
talking about how we had justabout convinced ourselves to go

(15:22):
on a Disney cruise, and then, like within the very same
sentence, we said, yeah, we'veconvinced ourselves to go on a
Disney cruise. Then we posted onthe gram, something wonderful
had happened. You woke up onemorning and you said, I think
I'm gonna need for us to book aDisney cruise.

Kelli (15:41):
Is that what? I said, yep. Okay, you

Chris (15:42):
also said, I think we're gonna need to book a Disney
cruise and go couch shopping.

Kelli (15:47):
I think the words that I said were, I have decided, What
will get me out of this funkthat I'm in? And you said, Okay,
what? And I said, I think I needto book a vacation. And you
said, I do too. And I said, Ithink it should be. And at the
same time, we set a Disneycruise. And then you're like,
I'm so glad we're on the samepage. Oh, yes. And then within

(16:10):
like, 24 hours, it had beenbooked, and flights bought, got
it.

Chris (16:13):
I think you did relay that I

Kelli (16:15):
did a better reenactment than you did in your
reenactment. It was really allmy fault. In

Chris (16:20):
my head, I like to there's no fault, by the way.
Okay, I just made your wishescome true. That's how it worked
out in my head, okay, all right, that's cool. So yes, so we are
headed on to the Disney, not anyold Disney, not any old Disney
Cruise, the Disney treasuregoing on, the one with the
Haunted Mansion last literally, was the only, the only check

(16:41):
mark that needed to be checked.
It was going to Disney Cruise, but it better be one of the ones
with the Haunted Mansion party.
I

Kelli (16:47):
also needed a veranda.
You needed a veranda, but theyall had that. They don't all
have verandas, but I need youmeet all the ships. All the
ships have available. Brent, yes, no. I was like, I need a
veranda, and I need the HauntedMansion lounge. We

Chris (17:00):
got what literally appears to be the last room on
that the last the third orfourth sailing. It launches.
Yes, it launches. I thinkDecember the 21st we're going on
the sailing, January the 11th,and we are super, super excited.
So I thought so, after readingup about what's, what all
happens on a Disney cruise andon the treasure, I thought I

(17:22):
would talk about the things I ammost looking forward to, because
I've only been on two cruises.
Both were Royal Caribbean orCaribbean, yeah, and they were
great. But I you and I

Kelli (17:33):
had been on three cruises together. You've been on more
cruises. I've been on more thanyou have. I mean, I'm definitely
very well traveled. I've

Chris (17:39):
only been on the two, yeah, two Royal Caribbeans,
right? Okay, I didn't realizethat. All right, I was there
with you both times.

Kelli (17:46):
I know, but I just thought we had been on more, no,

Chris (17:48):
unfortunately, not. Okay.
So this is the new week, and wethought, hey, let's, let's,
let's price things out. I thinkthe Disney cruises are about the
same now as Royal Caribbean. Wewrong. Well, we could be some
specific crew could be someother circumstances.

Kelli (18:04):
Yes, no, this one was more expensive than your average
Royal Caribbean. It's the fourthsailing of this ship. So yes,
it's at a different price pointright now. But in general, you
and I have both looked at theprices of Disney cruises, and
they are very close to the pricepoint of Royal Caribbean when
you start adding in all of allthe others. Exactly, right?

(18:24):
Because Royal Caribbean stillcharges you for the dining
outside of the main dining room.
They charge you for the thewater park area at Cook, okay,
like all of that is add ons. Soin general, they are close this
one in particular, it's thefourth sailing, and it's not
closed. I just really hope thehaunted Lounge is included.

(18:45):
Yeah, I'm pretty much just gonnabe there.

Chris (18:49):
I think, I think they're gonna run you out a few times,
but that's okay. You can go backin. Why would

Kelli (18:54):
they make me leave? Why are you being so mean, I don't
think Disney makes you leave.
Okay, good.

Chris (19:00):
I think that's how we should think about it, okay, as
long as you don't think you'regonna be disappointed if that
ends up not being true. So hereare the things I'm most excited.
I think there's gonna be a line.
That's what I'm saying. There'sgonna be a line there,

Kelli (19:11):
I know. But then once you get in, I will stay Okay.

Chris (19:16):
I will stay Okay. Gotcha alright,

Kelli (19:19):
and I'll be like, I'll see you at dinner, honey. I'm
gonna be right here in thelounge.

Chris (19:26):
Well, we're very excited about it. Here are some things
that I'm excited about. Hey, thesail away party. I cannot wait
to hear that funnel horn playWhen you wish upon a star.
That's cute. They do the wholecountdown on the Mickey Tron, or
the funnel Tron, or whateverthey call it there. Supposedly
there are places where you canstand and see the stage, the

(19:49):
countdown screen and the doc allat the same time as you leave.
And so I'm gonna fight somebodyfor that spot. Okay, just set
the tone right on the first

Kelli (19:59):
or you if you. D me up there, honey. I mean, I I've
been known to elbow people.

Chris (20:03):
Yes, you have. I had to carry you out of a football
stadium. So fired up,

Kelli (20:08):
she was in my face constantly. I don't care that
she was 82

Chris (20:14):
go right on, confirm that I had to carry you out of a

Kelli (20:16):
football she was trying to get into my area.

Chris (20:19):
I know, honey. I know you know what's funny. What's funny
is that's not the one I wastalking about, but you're right.
Basically had to carry you outof that one too. She

Kelli (20:32):
was in my area. We had a sign seating, and she wasn't
following it, and she keptgetting in my area. And I was
like, to

Chris (20:41):
elbow? Momo, yeah,

Kelli (20:44):
she could have to handle this, because I'm about

Chris (20:47):
to elbow. Get you out of there for at least the second
time in our football goingcareers together. I personally
am always just mesmerized by theopen ocean and sailing, so just
sitting on the veranda or theopen deck during day and night
are very exciting to me. Iremember cruising by Cuba on our
last cruise and seeing thoselights in the distance. I'm just

(21:08):
so excited to try to experiencethat again. I just, I just love
sitting on the veranda with theopen sea there I

Kelli (21:17):
can see that. I bet verandas are better on Disney
cruise ships. You can be eatinga Disney ice cream cone.

Chris (21:23):
We're gonna get to that for sure, the new Moana show.
Apparently, the puppetry in thisshow is completely mind blowing.
Teka is is giant as giant, hugepuppetry thing, and transforms
from teka into Te Fiti right infront of your eyes. Oh yeah. And

(21:43):
I can already tell you that myeyes are gonna get a little bit
Misty when Mama Talas manta raygoes flying out above the crowd.
It's supposed to be truly that'sawesome, crazy. But then there's
some other great shows also, Ithink Beauty and the Beast will
be playing as a live show. Therefireworks at sea. Yeah, this is

(22:08):
something my eyes are justsuper, super excited to see.
I've heard this is amazing. Thisis not something that's done on
the other cruises that we'vebeen on. I am excited to see the
fireworks at sea. Apparently, that usually happens on Pirate
Night.

Kelli (22:28):
Oh, yeah,

Chris (22:29):
you want to, and I can't get you to buy into dressing
like a pirate on Pirate Night.
Yeah, we got, we got theHalloween spirit store that just
opened up. Now's the time we go.
We go get some jam up piratecostumes.

Kelli (22:41):
I think I would rather be a haunted mansion person. Do I
have to be? But it's,

Chris (22:46):
but it's Pirate Night.

Kelli (22:48):
It's not just dress up night, right? It's

Chris (22:50):
Pirate Night.

Kelli (22:51):
Okay,

Chris (22:52):
dress up like a ghostly pirate. That's what you all did.

Kelli (22:58):
Maybe I beat the dog, the dog with the keys.

Chris (23:01):
Okay, you just walk around with keys, and I just
whistle at you all day. Okay?
Hooks Barbary, so it's abarbershop that totes wanting to
get my hair cut there, but it'salso a speakeasy where they make
custom crafted old fashions, andyou choose whatever bourbon you

(23:24):
want and whatever you know, cherry or orange or whatever,
and bitters and but they andit's a slow, crafted cocktail
process you learn all about it.
Cannot wait for that. Yeah,

Kelli (23:39):
and that's boys only.
Probably

Chris (23:41):
it ought to be, I don't think so. I think, I think they
let the girls drink the oldfashions too. Gosh, a trip to
the spa, since the spa is onboard, very much down with that.
I think probably today thatwe're at Cozumel, I'm gonna hit
the spa.

Kelli (23:58):
Yeah, I am definitely known for not getting off the
ship at ports.

Chris (24:04):
Yeah, it's the best time to be on the ship, the lounges,
obviously the Haunted Mansionparlor, the skipper society,
which I'm very excited about.
This is Skipper canteen themed.

Kelli (24:17):
I will leave the Haunted Mansion lounge to go over to the
skipper canteen things. Oh, I'llalso go to the scat cat thing.

Chris (24:26):
Okay? Scat cat lounge, based off of the Arista cats.

Kelli (24:29):
I'll do those. And I'll also go to all the dinners.
Thanks, hon. Welcome. Welcome

Chris (24:34):
the Aqua mouse. This is the not just an onboard Water
coaster, but an immersive storytoo. It came meaning starring in
The Curse of the golden eggincluded. That's included, no
paying extra for this. No noextra for this. This is included
all the dining Of course, superpumped about Plaza de coco in
particular, all day crab legs atthe buffet. Very excited about

(24:59):
that. Today,

Kelli (25:00):
crab legs. Yeah, me too.

Chris (25:02):
I know you are Gosh. You

Kelli (25:03):
don't want all your

Chris (25:04):
legitimately excited about this free room service at
all times. Yeah, no, I do. Thisis huge. This is way huger

Kelli (25:12):
than right? Royal Caribbean says that. But in
reality, you're still payinglike eight to

Chris (25:17):
$9 for the for the service, right? This is not and
I think I told you that I wasprobably ordering a Mickey Mouse
ice cream bar. Confessionalhere. I don't think I've ever
actually had a Mickey Mouse icecream bar in the park, but I'm
having, I'm ordering one everyday of that cruise, just because

(25:37):
I can you

Kelli (25:38):
know that your music has played and you've been escorted
out of your segment by the bythe notes. Just want to make
sure we're clear on that, because you appear to still be
talking.

Chris (25:48):
I yeah, I am still talking, by the way, that you
can also pay for a privatecabana on the island. I had my
note here is a private cabana inour future. Then I looked at the
prices, and it's not. No,

Kelli (25:59):
I could have told you anything with the word private.
It's not gonna be our future, except for a private state room.
So I it's a hard turn here.
Okay, hard turn. This past weekwas National Dog Day. It's one
of my favorite days on thesocials, because everybody just
post pictures of their dogs.
Now, I'm not on a lot of thesocials, but when I am there,

(26:21):
it's for dogs and sunshine.
Sure, that's right. So I loveNational Dog Day. Well, in honor
of that, I thought I'm gonnatalk about the top 10 Disney
dogs, and these are gonna belike, what I think are my top 10
Disney dogs. So guess I thinkwe've already had this
conversation, 517 540 there are540 total dogs in the cannon
now. This includes coyotes, foxes, jackals and wolves, and

(26:45):
this is in all Disney films andtelevision shows, all right,
okay, so we all know what I'mgonna call the Big Five. Okay?
Goofy, oh yeller was probablyyes, yes. Goofy Pluto Max goof,
right? All the Dalmatians andDoug. Okay, I think if you say
name some Disney dogs, that'sthe dogs you're gonna get. Okay,

(27:09):
okay, so I'm gonna give you thetop top 10, and I'm gonna
explain why they're the top 10.
All right. So these are in noparticular order, right? But the
first one I put down is Doug.
Right? Doug from up. Okay, loveDoug in the top

Chris (27:23):
10 out of 540 Doug's in the top 10. He can talk, it's
fair.

Kelli (27:28):
He can talk and goofy. He loves unconditionally. He says,
My name is Doug. I have just metyou, and I love you. I mean,
come on. How is he not in yourtop 10. His devotion to Carl,
after Carl rescues him from themean man, is just precious. I
love Doug so much. And then heloves Russell. I just love him.

(27:52):
I love

Chris (27:53):
he even loves those mean Dobermans, right?

Kelli (27:56):
Doug is just so loving, so loving. Okay, next, Dante
from Coco. Okay. Now, Dante is ashort showloits King today dog.
They call him show lows forshort. Okay, good.

Chris (28:15):
Let's do that.

Kelli (28:17):
It's a hairless Mexican dog, extremely loyal to Miguel.
He appears goofy and simpleminded, but he's really smarter
than he looks. And towards theend of the film spoilers, he
reveals his true nature as aspirit guide. He gets his wings,
and he ends up saving the day. Ilove Dante so much. I think he's
just precious, and we're gonnacall him a show low. Okay. Okay.

(28:41):
Okay, next up dog pool. Now, ifyou haven't seen the new
Deadpool movie, oh, man, thenI'll tell you, this does have a
little bit of a spoiler in it,but so he is a variant of
Deadpool. That's a dog he'sowned by nice pool until nice

(29:02):
pool dies, and then he belongsto Deadpool. He's only the
second animal variant of acharacter in the Marvel
Universe. I

Chris (29:11):
know the other one. Okay.
What is it? Was Loki thealligator. Alligator?

Kelli (29:15):
Loki, yes. He's also known as Mary puppins. He wears
goggles and a full on Deadpoolsuit, and he has the ability to
protect Wolverine just byexisting. I'm not gonna ruin
that scene for anyone, okay, butthere's a part in the movie
where Wolverine is carrying dogpool, and all the action shots

(29:37):
stops just to protect Wolverine.
Dog pool is amazing. I love dogpool. Okay, next up Max, from
The Little Mermaid. Max is veryunderrated, okay, but let's just
be clear, without Max Dumble,Eric never would have found
Ariel, and they wouldn't betogether.

Chris (29:55):
That's good point.

Kelli (29:56):
That is 100% a good point, because Eric is stupid.
He's totally dumb. And Max hadto point Ariel out multiple
times to be like, Eric, hello.
This is the one. This is theone. He's an old English sheep
dog, which I've always wantedbecause of the floof. I love the
floof. Oh my gosh. The floof isso floof. I would love an old

(30:17):
English sheep dog. He also hasget this, honey, the occasional
Meet and Greet at Tokyo, Disney, sea. What I know I'm pretty
excited about that. Okay, soMax, Okay, next up, Goofy. Goofy
had to be on the list. Allright. His full name. Do you
know his full name? Goofy goof.

(30:41):
Okay, so his full name is goofy, goof.

Chris (30:43):
I was probably overthinking.

Kelli (30:46):
He is described by Walt as a modest, unassuming fellow,
one who's never let fame go tohis head. And I will say that is
exactly how he is in dreamlikeValley. He really does not let
fame go to his head. He is ananthropomorphic dog who is
characterized as being clumsyand slow witted but with a good
natured disposition, along withhis misfit garments and rumpled

(31:10):
hat, Goofy's definingcharacteristic is arguably his
signature goof, all enunciatedas I yuck. I also love that he
is in love with Clarabelle, thecow. I always say, I think
that's really cute. I think it'sprecious. I think that would
make a cute cause I used tothink goofy was a cow for that

(31:30):
reason. Oh my gosh. Okay, sometimes, Honey, don't say
things. Okay. Next up is dog onPirates of the Caribbean, who is
officially named, okay, prisondog. Okay,

Chris (31:44):
wow, you just really to beat number five or whatever

Kelli (31:48):
on the list. Okay, no, this. We're gonna go deep here.
Okay. Prison dog was a canineowned by Captain Edward Teague,
oh, Blackbeard, yeah. Throughunknown circumstances, the dog
ended up in Port Royal, where hewas employed to hold on to the
jailer's keys at the fortCharles prison in Port Royal, he
was highly loyal to the jailer, and was not swayed by prisoners'

(32:09):
attempts to steal the keys, except for Captain Jack Sparrow,
who almost succeeded, though hewas ultimately lured away from
his post by pintel, who escapedthe jail with regetti. The dog
was usually referred to as dogwith the keys, and was once
called Poochie by pintel aroundthe war against piracy, the dog

(32:31):
became the chief of thepelagostos, which was shortly
lived as he escaped and returnedto his original master. He's got
a great he's got a great story, fantastic story. Okay, next up,
tramp, okay, I'm a huge fan oftramp. Yeah, he's a stray, which
I love strays, and he's kind ofa mutt, which I also love that.

(32:53):
But he's also a playboy. He'svery like devil may care. And
he's challenged by pamperedcocker spaniel named Lady with
whom he eventually falls inlove. Spoilers, if y'all don't
know that story, the twoeventually get married and
become the parents of fourpuppies. I love that he's a
mutt. Those are my faves. At onepoint, they considered calling

(33:14):
him Homer rags or Bozo, oh, butWalt insisted that he be called
tramp on the Disney wiki. Hishome is listed as the streets,
which I think is from thestreets, okay. Next up, Slinky
Dog, also known as slinky orslink, he is the best dog themed

(33:35):
coaster at Disney. Okay. Handsdown, he's the best dog themed
coaster at Disney. Dog themecoasters are there? Goofy has a
dog themed coaster over in thekids like circus area. I'm gonna
give it to you. Okay, slinkyacts very much like an actual
dog. Okay, he's nice, he'splayful. He likes to be petted.
He growls or barks at somethinghe doesn't like. He hides when

(33:58):
he's afraid, and he's very loyalto Woody, who is shown to
reciprocate his feelings and isoften seen petting him,
comforting him and playingcheckers with him. I love Slinky
Dog. Okay, last 200 is Jackskellington's Ghost Dog in the
Nightmare Before Christmas. Now,despite his ghostly form, he

(34:20):
acts very much like a normaldog. His favorite activity is
fetching the bones pulled fromJack's skeletal body. Okay? Now,
zero's primary concern is Jack'shappiness, despite his
reservations with the Christmasordeal, zero aided Jack with
overtaking the holiday with thehope of helping the latter live
out his dream. He did, however, try to steer Jack in the right

(34:42):
direction by reminding him ofhis true purpose, doing so by
showing a portrait depictingjack with a pumpkin. Okay, so
again, super loyal, but tried tokeep jack on point and sort of
hero, low key hero, yes, yes. Ilove zero. Okay, and last but
most definitely. Me, not least, pongo Pluto, didn't make your

(35:05):
top 10 list at all, not I'msorry. Pongo is okay, pongo,
that is my favorite Halloweencharacter that you've been. I
really loved you as pongo. Ithought you were super sweet and
really adorable as pongo. That'snice, and I kind of liked being
Cruella de Vil, to be honest.
He's the pet of Roger Radcliffeand the mate of Perdita, the
biological father of 15Dalmatian puppies, as well as

(35:27):
the adoptive father of 84others. Okay, extremely loyal.
Actually took note of Roger'sloneliness as a songwriting
bachelor, making it his missionto find a good friend and
suitable companion with thispongo is the reason Roger and
his wife, Anita, actually cametogether. Wow. So as you can see

(35:48):
here, a lot of the dogs that Ilove in Disney have this ability
to, like, protect their master, but also help their master, sort
of find a mate to become abetter human, just be better, be
better, be more fulfilled, right? Okay. And so I think
those, those dogs with, like, deeper storylines,

Chris (36:12):
I mean, Goofy is sort of his own master, right,

Kelli (36:16):
although I think he's, or is it Pluto, that's Mickey's
dog, exactly. Yeah, yeah. SoPluto wasn't on my list. Yeah,
sorry. So sorry.

Chris (36:28):
We love you.

Kelli (36:29):
Pluto's is Pluto. Pluto's not even in the dream light
Valley. I don't think maybe heis. Gosh, if he is, I'm so
sorry, Pluto, but I've seen himthink he is.

Unknown (36:40):
He's, one of the Fab Five. Sorry,

Kelli (36:44):
is he a Fab Five?

Chris (36:45):
Yeah, oh my gosh. Now I feel so horrible. You really
should feel terrible. Feelterrible the rest of it. Just
sit there and you wrongness andbe wrong. That's the show,
folks. We hope you've enjoyedit. If you did, you know what to
do now. Run out. Give us a fivestar rating on your podcasting
service, and if you can leave usa review, because that's going

(37:06):
to bring more people to theshow,

Kelli (37:08):
absolutely. And if you're looking for more things Disney,
visit SCF, adp.com, that's bestfor Super C for Cali, F for
fragileistic. A for awesome. Dfor Disney. P for podcast. Chris
is promising, y'all bonus foodand wine. Virtual Walker, I'll

Chris (37:21):
make that happen. He's gonna make it happen. Also,
action items for you a help uswith what we should do on a
Disney cruise that we didn'tlist. If you've done that
before, and tell Kelli how shewas right or wrong about her dog
list.

Kelli (37:35):
My dog list is perfect with that.

Chris (37:37):
We will see you real soon. You.
