Episode 9 with Etienne Piersman

In this episode I chat with Etienne Piersman about death and dying and his recent retreat he taught in Northern NSW where participants learned about Visionary Craniosacral Therapy.

• Secrets and End-of-Life Disclosure Etienne Peirsman described how keeping secrets requires significant energy investment, creating "energy cysts". They noted that at the end of life, as all energy shifts to survival, these hidden secrets can no longer be contained and surface, likening it to receiving a "bill" for unexpressed matters (00:02:53). The death and dying class helps participants address and express these deep-seated issues that are held onto (00:04:07).Communicating with the Body in Deep Space Etienne Peirsman explained that communicating with the body while a person is in a deep, "no-mind" space on the table yields more truthful answers from the core of their being, bypassing logical filters (00:04:07). jhana bowen added that this therapeutic communication supports healing by allowing the body to offer information the conscious mind may have forgotten (00:11:06). Etienne Peirsman confirmed that this occurs willingly when the body is in this state (00:12:20).

• The Midline and Stem Cell Organization Etienne Peirsman elaborated on the role of the midline in organizing stem cells, which are the foundational cells from which the entire body develops (00:15:24). They explained that without the midline's guidance, stem cells would create chaotically, but with its appearance, they gain clarity on purpose, placement, and timing, allowing for structured development (00:18:08). In a cranial session, connecting to the midline brings this clarity, pushing impurities and unclarity to the surface for resolution (00:19:29).Imagination and Transformation: The linguistic connection between "imagination" and "magic," noting that "magi" is the etymology of "magic" was explored.
