This letter is about when yourfamily doesn't like your
girlfriend.

My family thinks my girlfriendisn't good enough for me.
She's kind and hard working, butthey say she's not ambitious

All right, let's jump right intoit.
So your family thinks yourgirlfriend is not good enough.
First of all, why do they eventhink that?
You already said she'shardworking and she's kind.
So why they think she's not goodenough for you?

Or is it that she's not goodenough for them?

It's a slippery slope out there.
I know sometimes parents meanwell, but sometimes it's for
their own, they're looking at itin their own for their own
benefit.
You know, they act like they'rewith the girl.

So the question still is, is allright, is the girl not right for
you, or the girl is not rightfor them?

Because you and the girl is theone in really ultimately in a
relationship that's gonna betogether, you know.

So that's up to you.
You know, a lot of times parentswant the best thing for their
kids, and they supposed to.
They they they definitelysupposed to, but I think
sometimes they might get alittle overboard with it, you
know what I'm saying?
To the point where nobody isgood enough for you.

So that might be that situation,you know.
I'm saying this might besomething like that, but then
again, you never know, it mightnot be.
Maybe they see through the girl.
I don't know.
The thing is, is how you reallyfeel about the girl, right?
So you said she's kind and hardworking.
Do you feel like she's ambitiousenough?
Right?

If she's kind and hard working,she's hard work, she's working
towards something.
So that's showing some type ofambition right there.
If she's a hard worker, and thento me personally, at the end of
the day, is follow your heart.
You know, I'm saying follow theway you feel because only you
know how you feel deep inside.

Now, your parents might thinkthey know how you feel, they
raised you, but they don't knowhow you feel about this girl.
You know, this is somethingtotally different.
These, these are differentemotions that you tapped into
with another female, so yourparents can't know how you feel
about that, you know.
I'm saying they can relate tohow they felt when they, you

know, first met somebody orwhatever, but that don't got
nothing to do with yourexperience with this feeling.
So I would say, what do you feelabout it?
Follow your heart.
Do you feel like this is thegirl you you want to be with?
Do you feel like this girl isambitious?
Do you feel like this girl isgonna support your dreams as
well?
If the answer is yes, who givesa fuck what your family think?

Because at the end of the day,it's you and your Rada Dow, man.
It's you and your shorty that'sgonna be together holding it
down.
Your parents ain't gonna bethere holding it down for you
like that, unless you're you'rea mama's boy, and that's another

feel.

You know, your parents can'tlive your life for you.
You know, sometimes parents holdon so tight that they try to

live your life for you, but theycan't.
They can't, you know.
You gotta live your own life,man.
So if it was me and I'm feelingthis girl, I wouldn't care what
nobody thinks.
I follow my heart and go for it.
I think you should go for it.

If you feel like this is the onefor you, do the damn thing, man.
Keep it pushing and enjoy it.
And if it's the wrong decision,who cares?
It's all good.
Nobody's perfect.

You learn from it and you moveon.
But I wouldn't listen to myparents because what can happen
is okay, say you listen to yourparents, and now you feel like,

Now you're resenting yourparents for the rest of your
life, and you feel like youain't gonna never find that true
love because the one you didwant got away from you.
Who wants to live like that?

So I rather you I if it was me,I would rather live with taking

that shot and seeing whathappens rather than not taking a
shot at all and never know whathow it's gonna turn out.
So go for it, man.
