In this episode, I interview Minda Harts, author of the best-selling book The Memo: What Women of Color Need to Know to Secure a Seat at the Table, renowned speaker, entrepreneur, leader, and all-around amazing human. Minda and I covered a lot of ground in this interview. I felt like we were sitting around a kitchen table brainstorming about the exciting future of work and leadership for women, especially women of color.   Before The Memo was a book, it began as her career development platform for women of color, of the same name. In this episode, she explains why she created the company and what in her own career development as a woman of color inspired her to do so. She offers strategies to prepare a professional foundation that helps you achieve true agency and professional freedom and we both reflect on what to leave behind personally and professionally as we prepare to enter new possibilities and opportunities in a Web 3.0 data-driven world.   Listen. Learn. Leverage!   My poem-turned-song, Find Your Own Shine, closed out this episode. I wrote and published it in my book, Seasons of Her, and it also appeared in the CD/Book, SHINEI performed it around the country, in venues big and small.
