  I'm going to start with a littlebit of opening news.
  I mean, obviously the biggestpiece of opening news, and
  what's going to become likeextremely obvious by the end of
  this particular episode, is thatFreename's MetaMask Snap
  integration is finally live.
  It is working.
  This is what we were talkingabout in the focus of today's
  Tech Talk, but that is prettymuch the biggest news in my
  
  (04:35):
  ecosystem as far as I'mconcerned, and I'm going to go
  into it obviously in biggerdetail, talking about it
  throughout the space, but justto kind of briefly touch on it.
  You know now you know all freenames, the main names, ecosystem
  wide if they have the reverseresolution set on them, are able
  
  (04:55):
  to resolve within metamask byjust installing free name snap
  integration or extension.
  It's extremely easy to do,which again I'm going to cover,
  but that is opened up.
  You know, a world ofopportunity.
  Now we have wallet integration,and not just wallet integration
  , but major wallet integration.
  Metamask is one of the probablythe most utilized and staples in
  
  (05:17):
  the space.
  It ain't the most user friendlyright, but it is still
  definitely a go to and diehardwallet for every developer.
  I use my MetaMask every singleday, so for me this is
  definitely a game changer and,yes, so definitely looking
  forward to diving a lot moreinto you know the particulars of
  
  (05:38):
  that integration and how thatworks.
  A little later in the spaces,but yes, that is the biggest
  opening news.

  And then, actually, I am goingto probably just start diving
  into the content at hand becausethere's a little bit to cover,
  but once again, I do want toremind everyone listening that
  the registry for our own freename TLDs that now resolve on

  MetaMask is open forregistration.
  So that is dot dgen, dot xchain, dot 8888 that's five
  eights and dot defi wallet,among others, including dot
  spaces, host and dot gamertag,are available for you to mint
  your, your sld, which is yourleft on the dot, on those tlds.
  These are forever domains, soyou buy once and own forever.

  You can get it as cheap as twodollars and 50 cents and any
  free name discounts that arecurrently available are
  available on our TLDs because wehave enabled those discounts.
  So, yeah, feel free to go andregister on any of those domains
  .
  You're pretty solid ones.

  So about to get into the maintopic.

  All right, so about to get intothe main topic.
  As typical, I do like tointroduce the Web3 Domain
  Workshop and the purpose of ourworkshop in this series.
  As you see in the title of thespace, the title of this
  workshop is Free Name, isMulti-Chain.
  And what is MetaMask Snap?
  
  (07:04):
  The Web3 Domain Workshop ispart of our initiative to help
  educate both our VIP communityand our general domain community
  about the different ways youcan utilize and use Web3 domains
  , mostly from a free nameecosystem perspective, because
  that is where the greatestopportunity lies.
  But most of what we say andeven in this case you'll kind of

  catch on as well is pretty muchjust general good stuff for
  anybody who's in the space toknow.
  Right, a lot of the alpha, alot of the education that we try
  to offer during theseWeb2Debate workshops can be
  utilized no matter what namingsystem that you I guess you're
  bullish on or whatever tribe youbelong to.
  A lot of the tools thatFreeName has built are actually
  
  (07:49):
  not only just multi-chain butthey're also multi-naming
  service.
  So whether you're, you know, amaxi of, you know those other
  guys, or whether you're, youknow, a diehard, you know FNTLD
  owner, this Web3Domain workshopis here to provide value to you
  so that you can deep dive andlearn more about how to both use
  and, of course, communicate thevalue, so that you can then
  
  (08:10):
  sell domains from your TLDs.
  So we do this every Thursdaywithin our VIP community In that

  I mean it's not like a bigsecret, but, yeah, this is a

  tech talk is I do like to geteverybody on the same page

  because, again, this isbroadcasted to an audience that
  is outside of crypto Twitter.
  So some people are hearingabout what this is for the first
  time, discovering what theseare for the first time, and they
  may get confused.
  They may hear the word domainsand think that we're talking
  about those coms, those infos,those ios, those nets and bizs.
  We are talking about somethinga little bit different.
  
  (09:13):
  So Web2 domains are what thoseare referencing and Web3 domains
  is what normally I'm talkingabout.
  Right, web2 domains, as I justexplained, work to resolve, to
  IP addresses, to take you fromthat human readable address to
  content that exists on the otherside.
  So just as you typed infacebookcom or xcom to get here,
  
  (09:34):
  that's how Web2 domains work.
  Web3 domains work in a similarformat but in a completely
  different technology stack.
  In this world of Web3, youridentity, your means of getting
  paid, your means of interactingwith people, is your blockchain
  address.
  That blockchain address is abunch of random characters.
  I don't even know how long itis, but it's long.
  It's impossible to remember,but, in any event, just like an
  
  (09:55):
  IP address is impossible toremember and a human readable
  address makes them nowaccessible to the world, in Web3
  , the human readable addressmakes your blockchain address
  easier to read and easier toshare with the world.
  So we are talking about theWeb3 things, domains that
  resolve the blockchain addresses, not those Web2 things.
  
  (10:16):
  So I think it's all on the samepage.
  And now, with that being said,let's dive into the workshop.
  This is going to be a two-partworkshop.
  We are first going to betalking about the multi-chain
  capabilities of Freename andthen we are going to dive into
  MetaMask Snap.
  So, again diving into anexciting workshop covering
  
  (10:37):
  Freename's multi-chain domain,meaning I'm going to break down
  how Freename is revolutionizingdomain ownership by allowing
  users to mint on multipleblockchains, giving them
  flexibility and strategicadvantages over single chain
  naming systems and, again, notto knock any of the single chain
  naming systems, but in thegreater ecosystem and in the
  
  (10:58):
  greater economic opportunitythat we provide our investors.
  You'll see why this isimportant to have this
  flexibility.
  Then we're diving to our newMetaMask Snap plugin and how it
  enables the seamless resolutionof free name domains inside of
  the MetaMask wallet, making iteasier than ever to use Web3
  domains in your day-to-daytransactions.
  All right, so going into ourmulti-chain domain minting, most
  
  (11:23):
  Web3 domain providers that weare familiar with typically
  build on a single blockchain.
  As I stated in yesterday'sworkshop, there are a few that
  have a couple of chains.
  I think even UD now allows youthe option to mint on base or
  something like that, maybe evenSolana.
  At this point, some of them arestarting to allow a little bit
  
  (11:44):
  of multi-chain flexibility, butfor the most part like ENS
  specifically, even though Summitbuilt that technology on other
  EVM platforms are usuallylimited to a single blockchain.
  So that means once you mintyour domain, you're locked into
  that ecosystem with really noflexibility to migrate or
  integrate across chains.
  Freename was multi-chain fromthe start and if we narrow this
  
  (12:07):
  down like, let's say, we justtake, let's take the SLD
  ecosystems out of the picture,right, let's talk about just
  some of the TLD players outthere and at the time right at
  FreeName's launch, and what theybrought to the table at that
  time the players again at thattime, at the height of kind of
  like the TLD introduction andopportunity, blah, blah, blah
  
  (12:31):
  have always been.
  You know, a handshake on oneend, central web on the other
  and again, free name showing upwith the ability to mint on
  multiple chains.
  At the time was a big gamechanger, because that wasn't
  something that the otherecosystems allowed or was even
  really usable.
  We're going to get into andthat is since expanded, but
  
  (12:52):
  there's like another technologythat's aligned with that.
  That's even more impressivethan I'm going to get into at
  this point.
  But again, so what thattechnology allows you to
  basically do is whether you'reminting a TLD, you get the
  choice of blockchain.
  You want to make that to, aswell, as those who are minting
  their SLD are able to mint onthe blockchain of their choice.
  
  (13:14):
  I'll explain how that works andwhy that works FreeName
  currently.
  So at the time of FreeName'slaunch, I'm pretty sure there
  was three blockchains.
  I didn't remember the last onebecause I think it was one that,
  on a blockchain, I just didn'tutilize, but the two big ones
  that they launched on originallywere Polygon and BSC, and that
  
  (13:36):
  was the thing that attracted methe most, because, as I've said
  a million times in my originstory, I was extremely bullish
  on Binance Smart Chain for agood portion of my entry into
  this space.
  So, as such, I've minted someof my early TLDs onto BSC, but
  for the most part, most of thelegacy domains in the Freedom
  
  (13:57):
  ecosystem reside on eitherPolygon or BSC, hence why a lot
  of our integrations work withour Polygon and BSC domains.
  But we actually support eightblockchains currently today, and
  those eight blockchains include, you know, base now we are also
  able to mint on Solana Aurora.
  
  (14:17):
  We have Chili's now we justadded them and a few more, so we
  have eight blockchains.
  Easily go to free name IO to seethem, and this is one of the
  things that we were able to walkthrough yesterday Almost every
  piece of information about ourup-to-date integrations, about
  
  (14:37):
  how to use our domains, aboutanything that we've developed,
  like even Linkstar, whois andthings like that.
  They're right on the homepageof freenameio.
  You just got to scroll down.
  It's a very, veryinformation-packed homepage.
  So all of these blockchains andthe icons for each of them, and
  even some of the ones that aregoing to be added soon are all
  
  (14:57):
  in the section on the website atFreenameio, so visit that
  website.
  You'll see them all there.
  But we now again supportbidding on eight different
  blockchains.
  So the level of flexibility andgetting more coming soon, and
  there's several reasons why youmay want to choose, you know,
  one blockchain over another.
  I'm not really going to diveinto that too much here, but you
  
  (15:18):
  know, as far as like base, basehas become extremely popular
  for being, you know, veryconsumer friendly blockchain
  dirt sheet being able to usepretty much.
  It's on the EVM stack, so Imean it's.
  It's basically a fasterEthereum, faster, cheaper
  Ethereum, and it's gained a tonof popularity.
  It's one that's popular with me.
  
  (15:38):
  Now.
  I've since stopped becoming aBSC chain maxi and I'm not
  really a maxi of another chain,but if you were to say I was,
  you would probably pick base asbullish.
  I am on base and all thedifferent apps that are built
  over there, um, but also likesolana, of course, right, like
  meme culture, a lot of tvl overthere.
  
  (15:58):
  Projects move fast.
  They're building over there tooas well, um, so I mean there's
  a lot of value to solana and, ofcourse, like there's a lot of
  wallets, um, that you know, hey,you never know potentially we
  may have a native integrationwith those as well, and those
  wallets are solid too as far astheir ui and capabilities.
  So, and, and we'll get in.
  I'm already hinting to whythere's a benefit to having
  
  (16:21):
  different blockchains, becausethere is different values on
  those different chains and,depending on what you're
  building, that value might meanmore to you than something being
  locked on another chain.
  And, yeah, I'm going to diveinto it.
  But, again, several differentchains, depending on your needs,
  depending on how that chainoperates and depending on how
  scalable that chain is for you.
  Um, the level of flexibilitythat we offer again, is
  
  (16:43):
  unmatched in the space.
  And then some of the otherecosystems have since got
  multi-chain, but not like this,um, so, uh, going into why
  multi-chain minting has valueand why it matters and this is
  diving deeper into, like, thespecific benefits of each chain
  and so, on the surface, likechoosing the right blockchain
  
  (17:06):
  for your Web3 domain, it's notjust about preference.
  There's really strategy to it.
  As I explained yesterday duringthe workshop, most of the TLDs
  that I have on the Freenameplatform I actually have not
  minted, so they're sitting onthe platform, they're waiting
  for which blockchain.
  I want to choose Again, like ifI had minted them all when I
  
  (17:26):
  bought them, I would have beenchoosing between BSC and Solana.
  Now we've got like six otherchoices and in the future we're
  going to have a lot more.
  But the reason why I've leftthem un-minted is because I have
  plans to build with these right, and I don't know what or where
  I'm going to build them yet.
  So it's a strategy to leavethem un-minted and it's a
  
  (17:47):
  strategy to figure out where tomint them.
  And so the first part of thatstrategy is I and again, do your
  own research, take my advicewith a grain of salt.
  But one of the first things Ithink you should ask yourself
  between the you know, beforechoosing which blockchain to
  mint your TLD to, is where doyou plan on building or creating
  
  (18:08):
  a community for this project?
  Like where?
  Where were you find the utilityor integrations, or finding
  easier to find partnerships forutilities and integrations?
  Uh, for your tld.
  And let me kind of explainsomething a little briefly here
  as well.
  So all these blockchains, allthese ecosystems, you've got two
  
  (18:30):
  things working simultaneouslyand and again.
  Like this is why I mean there'sa difference in opportunity
  here and I just got to be pointblank.
  It's what it is Like.
  There's, there's money to bemade on other ecosystems, but
  there really is a really bigdifference in opportunity here,
  because you've got someone outhere that's building for you,
  but then you're able to take thewheel and build for yourself in
  
  (18:52):
  a way that gives your, your TLDor your domain ecosystem you
  know, substantially more value.
  So you stand out from the crowd.
  So, as the free name isexpanding right, as it's
  creating partnerships, as it'slaunching on other blockchains,
  as it's trying to gain moreintegrations, et cetera, you, at
  the exact same time, while yourTLD sits on some, you know a
  
  (19:15):
  blockchain like a Solana, etc.
  I mean you have access and canlink any developer up with the
  same.
  You know APIs and all that goodstuff to integrate free name
  resolvers into their ecosystemsas anyone else can.
  So if you're, you know, ago-getter and you are running an
  
  (19:35):
  independent registry and you'reout here, you know, with
  multiple TLDs, looking foradditional utility and
  integrations, you have theseconversations with developers
  and projects yourself, createthose relationships and now your
  TLD will resolve.
  You know on the blockchain thatyou choose.
  If you find one is easier tobuild a relationship with.
  You can create individualutility for your own TLD.
  
  (19:56):
  That's what I'm saying, likethere's.
  There's a different opportunityhere where you're able to
  really grow and build something.
  That's both turnkey because,again, we're building on our
  side to do these things for youso that everybody in the
  Freename ecosystem is expandingand getting additional utility
  
  (20:18):
  but then you're also able to addadditional value by going out
  and making these partnershipsyourself, especially ones that
  align with whatever your TLD isabout right.
  So, again, when you're choosingwhere to met your TLD, having
  the option of all theseblockchains that you can now
  look into and createrelationships with and decide
  are the best to build yourproject, and then you know,
  waiting until you make thatdecision before you met that TLD
  
  (20:40):
  , yeah, I think that's a bigvalue.
  And again, it's up to you to dothe research and find which
  ecosystem aligns best with youruse case.
  And so that's on the TLD side,right On the SLD side.
  So, as a business owner,business opportunity with free
  name allows you to buy what iscalled a top level domain in
  
  (21:00):
  Web3.
  Remember.
  So we're not talking about dotcoms, dot infos, dot, nips.
  We're talking about for lack ofbetter reference dot, each step
  in NFTs, dot X in NFTsx, theweb, three domains, freename
  allows you to create your ownboth personal ecosystem if you
  own a brand, as well as investin lucrative ecosystem if you
  
  (21:22):
  purchase keywords like ggin inthe case that we own, that I
  described earlier.
  So if, when the and so here andI remember I said earlier in
  the spaces that I was going toexplain kind of another unique
  feature of this multi chaintechnology so on the TLD owner
  side, as an investor, you'reable to make that on the
  
  (21:44):
  blockchain of your choice.
  Just describe to you everysingle benefit of that just
  right now, one of the superunique things about our
  
  (22:15):
  ecosystem is that your communityor whoever your fans, whether
  they're coming to you becauseyou have a community benefit or
  initiativeLD, they are able tomint their SLD on the blockchain
  of their choice.
  And that's super duper unique.
  And now I'm going to get intowhy you know someone would want
  to do that.
  So, first and foremost,obviously, if you're like in the
  case of Chili's, this is aperfect example.
  Obviously, if you're like inthe case of Chili's, this is a
  perfect example.
  
  (22:35):
  So Chili's TLD is live.
  That CAC the majority of theirinitial community, I would
  expect will met their you knowtheir preferred username, likely
  on the Chili's blockchain,right.
  So, and that's you know not toget into what names you should
  mint and that type of advice,but I always advise people when
  you're coming into the ecosystem.
  
  (22:56):
  At the end of the day, theseare names.
  Come in to invest.
  We talked about the strategieslater but the first name you
  should always get is yours, theone you're going to use.
  So, let's say, most of thepeople in the Chili's ecosystem
  onboarded to their ecosystemwith their name and they likely
  will, because Chili's hasoffered a bunch of incentives to
  their communities and holdersto get free ones.
  
  (23:17):
  So cool, bam I come and I claimthat.
  But then I click right thatthere's other names out here
  because, again, even in the SLDspace, there's a very lucrative
  opportunity to resell names ifthey are popular, right.
  If they are brand names which Idon't recommend people you know
  necessarily get too deep intobut keywords et cetera, like
  
  (23:39):
  there's, again, speculate as youwill, but if you want to expand
  your portfolio outside of yourown name, I think it's important
  that you can hold those namesand then choose later where you
  want that name to be, dependingon what opportunity exists on
  that other chain, right.
  So, again, if there's a bunchof utility being created and
  
  (24:02):
  built from a free name side,right, just so happens to be
  heavy on Solana, right for agood season.
  Like, let's say, we just makesome killer integrations over
  there and you love Chili's as anidentity, right, you love CXE,
  but you may love the utilitythat's being built on this other
  block chain.
  You have the option of doingboth, right, you could be a
  
  (24:24):
  great community member and showyour identity for that, you know
  , via that TLD, but minted onthe block of your choice, and
  then go utilize thoseintegrations.
  Case in point right, and I seemy buddy Kiosk in the crowd.
  Thank you for pulling up.
  This will be one that you caneasily relate to.
  So, webhash, for instanceRemember I was talking about
  those, our earliest blockchains,what we launched with.
  
  (24:47):
  Well, webhash is one of ourearliest partners and because of
  that, our integration withWebHash, I think, is limited to
  BSC and Polygon chains, right.
  So if you want to build adecentralized Web site for your
  dot CZTL, for your dot CZ domainname, again, you have the
  option of grabbing your name onthe Chili's blockchain and then
  
  (25:08):
  grabbing additional names andusing those names to connect to
  something like WebHash and thenbuild out your decentralized
  no-code website if you met themon Polygon or on BSC or on, I
  think, baseworks as well.
  So again, some of the differentblockchains will offer
  different integrations, willoffer different use cases as we
  continue to spend and createpartnerships.
  
  (25:30):
  So it both matters where youmet your TLD, depending on,
  again, your community thatyou're building, and what kind
  of blockchain offers you themost value and maybe even
  identity.
  Maybe you're maxing up acertain chain or, and then even
  on the SLD side, it adds extremebenefit with that flexibility.
  Question always gets asked ifyou mint on one chain, can you
  
  (25:52):
  move it to another?
  Again, currently no, we've hadthese discussions in the early
  days of Freename, where it'stechnically possible.
  It just hasn't been madepublicly available for it to
  happen.
  Not saying it won't in thefuture, but that's something to
  be bullish on and maybe campaignand lobby for.
  But again, this feature byitself blows anything out of the
  
  (26:12):
  water and then if we were ableto move them later, that would
  be super crazy.
  Also, counter-extraction right.
  That is another thing thateventually you know that
  technology is out there, but Ithink its value is being slipped
  on and I anticipated some, youknow, eventually being
  integrated into our namingplatform and with a counter
  
  (26:33):
  distraction, it literallywouldn't matter what chain you
  meant it on.
  So, yeah, that is.
  So.
  That dives a little bit intothe strategy and behind which
  chain you choose and how to findthe value that best fits what
  you're looking for.
  Now, again, again, comparingthese to other naming ecosystems
  
  (26:53):
  and and you know why this is avalue and helps you know, free
  name individually stand out is,again, especially at its onset
  and specifically in theopportunity that exists here,
  which is, you know, the abilityto buy tlds, right?
  Um, most of those namingsystems are tied to a single

  blockchain, and even in the caseof an ENS domain, well, and so
  EVM has, and I'll give it to ENSENS has expanded to other
  EVM-based chains with notnatively, so you can't mint the
  eth on any of them, but you canmint subdomains from other
  ecosystems that are on EVMchains, such as Base, linnaeus,
  
  (27:35):
  et cetera.
  So I mean, yeah, cool, I meanthere's ways to make it work,
  but for the most part, theirnative naming service.
  Again, if you mint their domain, it's limited to Ethereum, it's
  on Ethereum, it's on ETH.
  No matter what the way is, itcomes with a little time.
  That's where you're going topay.
  The same thing with UD.
  
  (27:56):
  If you met their domain, forthe most part they were
  unstoppable.
  They were on Polygon.
  They were on ETH for a littlebit too as well, when they first
  launched Crazy and then nowbase a little bit.
  Here's where that kind of andthen obviously all other
  ecosystems.
  So almost every other namingprotocol is just straight up
  Like Solana name service workson Solana.
  That's it.
  Bns works on Bitcoin, that's itSats name service works on.

  Is it Sats?
  Yeah, sats name service workson Bitcoin or works on Sats.
  And then the other one, theStats name service, works on
  Sats.
  You get my point.
  They are all limited to wherethey are built.
  The problem with that is and soit's not necessarily a problem,
  but again, so I'm going to saytwo things.

  Right, I have both predicted,and I get to completely
  understand, that every singleblockchain will likely create
  its own naming protocol and thatthat naming protocol will
  likely be the most useful namingprotocol or the most
  integration friendly protocolwithin that blockchain,

  integration-friendly protocolwithin that blockchain.
  Why?
  Because it's built there, right?
  I don't expect us to be able tobuild a better naming protocol
  on Bitcoin than BNS can, butmaybe we can.
  I don't know.
  I don't know how they work, Idon't know if they're working
  that well over there, but youget my point right.
  So, with that being said, I ampro naming.
  You know, I'm pro blockchainsexploring.
  
  (29:24):
  I'm not necessarily pro themexploring creating their own.
  You know TLDs and blockchainnaming systems.
  I obviously do want them all tocome to FreeDane, but I
  understand why they would rightNow.
  Here's the problem with that.
  Where do you see sats beingused in the wild outside of
  being shilled on Twitter as ausername, right?
  The problem is is that if thatecosystem isn't building fast
  
  (29:47):
  enough, or if your ecosystemjust doesn't support the
  technology like in the case ofBitcoin, right, building the
  Sats technology or Ordinal'stechnology and all that on top
  of it and having to build L2,like there's stuff that has to
  be done in order to make thatecosystem usable and because
  your naming system is stuckthere, that's just what it is
  right, and so you can't transferit.
  
  (30:10):
  There's a lack of usefulnessand interoperability being stuck
  on one chain.
  I mean there are some exampleswhere being on one chain, in the
  case of ENSs, work just finefor them, right, because they
  have tons of integration.
  So I mean there's differentsides of the spectrum, but again
  , there is value to be had thereand there's limitations with
  being stuck on certain chains.
  
  (30:32):
  And again you end up stuck with,you know, the DApps and the
  wallets of that blockchain andthen, if that blockchain happens
  to have any issues or risk,your domain usability is
  affected.
  Right, to have any issues orrisk, your domain usability is
  affected, right, I'm not goingto like double down too much on
  saying, like Solana blockchainis going to go down every five
  minutes, but it has gone down,right, I've experienced the
  
  (30:54):
  unusefulness of Solana, right.
  So for some names or for yourmain name, you may choose.
  Like hey, that's not where Iwant to put it right.
  Well, in the case of, you know,having a sold, you don't have
  that choice.
  If you need to send, if youneed to give somebody a wallet
  address super quick for them tosend you some sold and that
  
  (31:16):
  name's not usable, you don'thave anything else to send them
  and you have to kind of justwait till it clears up, whereas
  if you had another name thatwere resolved to it or resolved
  somewhere else, you can givethem something different.
  So, again, some of these risksmay affect you, some of these
  things may never affect you, butI think one of the biggest
  
  (31:37):
  strengths and beauties aboutblockchain that we all
  appreciate and want to see moreof is the ability to choose.
  I think choice adds value andthen value ultimately gives you
  a bigger return on yourinvestment.
  So free names multi-chainapproach removes a lot of the
  barriers, I think, that affectother naming systems.
  
  (31:57):
  Again, it offers all of ourdomain investors and builders a
  very distinct advantage withallowing you know you to choose
  which blockchain to emit yourTLD to, while also allowing any
  of your customers to choosewhere they want to emit their
  SLDs.
  I think it future proofs all ofour domains in our ecosystem.
  
  (32:18):
  And, again, we're continuing toexpand the blockchains,
  continuing to expand and addother blockchains.
  So, again, if you want to seethe chains that we're integrated
  with, you can go on freenameio,scroll down to it.
  It's pretty near the bottom,but you'll see all the logos,
  pretty bright and clear.
  It's impossible to miss.
  You'll also see some of thepreviews of what is coming soon.
  So, yeah, hope you are bullishon that utility.

  Again, it's one of the mostattractive things that initially
  brought me to FreeName in thefirst place, especially because
  they allowed minting on BSC, andat the time that FreeName
  launched on BSC, there was onlyone name and I think there still
  is only one naming protocol onBSC, which was SpaceID.
  So it really did offer a reallystrategic advantage for me

  because, being a part of the BSCcommunity, I actually was able
  to get a lot of mentors andholders from my own community
  and that community that I belongto on BSC.

  Okay, so cool, metamask Snap,as I've pinned at the top one of
  my recent tweets.
  One snap to rule them all.

  I will explain what I mean bythat.
  But what is the MetaMask Snapplugin?
  Again, if you're active in Web3, you've likely used MetaMask as
  one of your go to wallets andeven if you don't, you've
  certainly heard of it.
  Metamask is basically again oneof the first or original
  wallets, I think, that utilizelike this UI and have a mobile
  
  (34:09):
  wallet that exists in the space.
  It is very easy to add otherblockchains, evm based, and it's
  an EVM based wallet, so let meclarify that as well.
  Yeah, I don't think it supportsany blockchains outside of EVM
  based blockchains yet, butmeaning any platform that
  
  (34:31):
  utilizes a zero X address andresolves, or is basically ETH
  layer one or EVM layer two.
  You can import into this walletby integrating the RPC and most
  of its plug and play anyway.
  But one of the frustratinglimitations of MetaMask if
  you're not like an ENS maxi havebeen its inability to resolve
  
  (34:52):
  any other domain service outsideof ENS until the introduction
  of their Snap technology.
  So their Snap technology wasintroduced a little while ago.
  I think it first came on myradar I want to say close to a
  year ago, not sure who all elsehas integrated with it, did some
  
  (35:13):
  really cool things with ourresolver that I'll explain here
  in a little bit to work with thesnap integration.
  That really does make it likeone snap to rule them all.
  So, tldr, what this all meansis, with the new MetaMask snap
  
  (35:37):
  integration, you can now useyour free name domains directly
  in MetaMask with just a simpleplug in name domains directly in
  MetaMask with just a simpleplugin.
  That means you can now send andreceive crypto using a human,
  readable free name domainaddress instead of your long
  wallet address.
  That means, instead of nowopening up MetaMask and typing
  in bobjoneseth, which has workedgreat, kudos to ENS and that
  
  (36:01):
  integration.
  Shout out to y'all, we knowwhat y'all did to get that.
  Kudos to ENS and thatintegration.

  But now you can type in, as Ipinned at the top of the screen,
  winairdrop and do the exactsame thing.
  And airdrop is one of FreeName'scorporate TLDs.
  It's one to watch because younever know what they might do
  with their own TLDs.
  But obviously, as I explainedat the beginning of the space,

  my AKA, my alias, is WynnAirdrop, so this would be my
  real domain.
  So Wynnairdrop now resolves inMetaMask and you can send money
  directly to it.
  That is one of my walletaddresses and, as I explained
  earlier, I guess in the first 30minutes of the space, we are a
  multi-chain, so any chain thatany of your domains reside on,
  as long as they're one of theEVM chains because Solana is you
  
  (36:51):
  can meet there too, and I don'tthink that'll work here.
  But if you met your domain ontoany of the EVM options that we
  have, they will resolve up hereand of course, it'll pull up
  here where that domain issitting, and it doesn't matter
  where it's sitting.
  You can send, as long as itresolves, to that address.
  If you're wanting to send baseum to someone, if you're wanting
  to send it eth, mainnet, uh,eth, if whatever it is, whatever
  
  (37:15):
  token it is on the evenblockchain, it's going to get
  there.
  That's all it needs.
  So you're good to go Um andagain all of the uh, uh.
  So another big thing about thisas well, and why this is like
  the one stamp to move them allor to rule them all, is, in
  addition to being multi-chain um, our naming plug or this plugin
  
  (37:39):
  or our particular snap, isactually also multi name service
  Um.
  So done a couple of demos, uhdemos in previous weeks or a
  month or so ago, or I forgetwhich workshop right now.
  We've done quite a few of these, but in some of the beginning
  workshops, one of the firstthings that I dove into was our
  plugin and our resolver In ourown free name plugin, which has
  
  (38:03):
  been live, which you can use andwhich is awesome and which I
  encourage everybody to explore,because there's some other great
  features on there, includingthe ability to resolve to
  whatever websites you haveconnected to it to forward to.
  But within that particularplugin there is the ability to
  also connect your any MetaMaskwallet or base.
  
  (38:24):
  I think it has a MetaMask asone option and then maybe wallet
  connected to the other.
  But basically you can connectany wallet that has funds to it
  and then you can use it to sendto any Web3 address and it
  obviously it has a free nameresolver built into it.
  So if you wanted to send toWinAirdrop at that point, you
  could then.
  But one of the features that Iwas able to go through in detail
  
  (38:44):
  then and it exists in thisplugin as well is that that
  plugin or that resolver ismulti-name service.
  So in our free name extensionyou can send to not only free
  name domain names, but you canalso send to unstoppable domain
  names as well as ENS domainnames, unstoppable domain names
  as well as ENS domain names.
  So, as I explained earlier, snaphas been out for a little bit.
  
  (39:12):
  A couple web I know for sure.
  I believe that UD has a pluginon Snap or has its own Snap.
  There may be others that havetheir Snap.
  The thing that's going to endup happening, right, is, I don't
  know if native integration withMetaMask, like straight up,
  straight up, is ever going tohappen outside of ENS.
  Right, and it doesn't need to,because Snap works awesome.
  The problem is is that if youhave names on multiple name
  
  (39:33):
  services, you're going to needto download each one of their
  snaps, and I mean I guessthat'll work fine.
  They'll just all be listed herebut then, like, each one of
  them maintains their own snap,et cetera.
  It's just a lot of maintenance.
  Anything can go wrong there.
  With our multi-name servicesnap, let's say that you're
  bullish on both Unstoppable andyou're bullish on FreeName and
  
  (39:57):
  you may be bullish on a coupleother naming services that will
  integrate you know, very sooninto our resolver.
  Instead of having to downloadall of their snaps, you can
  download just our one snap andit'll resolve them all, so, just
  as our snap.
  If you just had our snap withinMetaMask, not only would ENS
  still work perfectly like itdoes, but you would be able to
  
  (40:20):
  send money to winairdrop, as yousee in the pin.
  Also, if you owned winairdropx,as I do, you'd be able to type
  that in as well and it wouldresolve that to the stoppable
  domain as well.
  So one snap to move them all,to rule them all, and again,
  that helps with the customerexperience.
  For those of us who areextremely familiar with this
  
  (40:41):
  space and don't mind again goingto Snap and downloading all
  these plugins and going throughthese hoops, and don't mind
  again going to Snap anddownloading all these plugins
  and going through these hoops, Idon't know for what reason you
  would probably ever want todownload every naming service to
  Snap.
  If you could download one, itjust doesn't make any sense.
  But let's just say you're thatguy.
  The people you're introducingto this space are definitely not
  that guy.
  Right, we're trying to findways to make this easier and
  
  (41:04):
  we're trying to eliminate steps.
  So again, freename has alwayshad this ethos of wanting to
  work beside and with the othernaming protocols rather than
  replace them.
  From the start, as has beenevident in their extension, in
  their own Freename extension,Our resolver has been multi-name
  service.
  It is something that I knowthat we are doubling down on and
  
  (41:26):
  going to expand on and again,we want people to be able to
  come integrate our technology.
  Because there is there again,there's a bigger world outside
  of what we're currentlyinteracting with in web3, which
  is these simple wallets andstuff like that.
  But even with that that's oneworld.
  But going outside of this, whenwe you, we have the ability to
  really integrate into technologyand things that are like in the
  
  (41:46):
  real world, being able to givesomebody one integration that
  brings all naming servicesreally just adds so much value
  to our ecosystem.
  So again, that that ourresolver, our snap you know a
  lot of value.
  Whether you're bullish on anyother ecosystem, you should be
  able to get by with just thefree name snap.
  
  (42:09):
  So again, a lot bigger than itlooks on the surface.
  Kudos to free name for buildingin this way.
  And this is why, with ourworkshops and I preface our
  workshops with again, a lot ofthe technology that we're
  building, a lot of the you knowthe moves that you know free
  name is making the space, a lotof the moves that Freename is
  making in the space, a lot ofthe connections that Freename
  and bridges that Freename iscrossing with ICANN, with all
  
  (42:33):
  that good stuff.
  These things benefit everybody,right, it doesn't matter what
  ecosystem you're bullish on.
  The future of Web3 domains, Ibelieve, is collaborative.
  There's space for everybody toinnovate and build within it.
  And so, again, kudos for freename, for always recognizing
  that and staying kind of on thatpage rather than, you know,
  building in toxicity, becausethere are some naming services
  
  (42:55):
  that that you know aren'tgetting anywhere because they
  don't want to recognize thevalue of other people.
  So good stuff there.
  So, lastly, I'm going to go intojust how simple it is to
  integrate MetaMask Snap or thefree name MetaMask Snap into
  your existing MetaMask, becausethat's another important thing.
  If you're already, you know,got to make sure this isn't hard
  
  (43:18):
  to do, right.
  So if you're Web3 native, thisis a piece of cake.
  If you're being walked throughit by somebody and you're not
  Web3 native, this is still apiece of cake.
  If you're not Web3 native anddon't have a MetaMask, once you
  learn how to install theMetaMask extension into your
  browser, you will be more thanefficient to install a snap.
  
  (43:41):
  But for those of you I'massuming that you have your
  MetaMask open on your browser Ifyou open that MetaMask and you
  go into your options, there isliterally a tab that says snaps.
  So it's right there.
  You will click on that.
  When you click on that, thatwill actually show you all the
  snaps that you have installedcurrently on your MetaMask
  
  (44:01):
  extension.
  If you have never used Snapbefore, that should be zero.
  If you have downloaded the UD1or whoever else's one, those
  will be there.
  Okay, there will be a tab atthe bottom where you're able to
  go and explore more or searchthe Snaps directory.
  So you click that and it willtake you to snapsmetamaskio.
  There is a search bar at thetop of that page and all you
  
  (44:26):
  would do is start typing in freename.
  By the time you get to thefourth letter, e, and get to
  that N, it should automaticallypopulate that free name
  resolution snap and all you haveto do is click on that.
  It will take you to that page.
  You'll click install.
  There's a couple of walletprompts that'll pop up and then,
  voila, you will be integrated.
  
  (44:47):
  This is not something that youhave to do every single time you
  log in.
  This is done.
  This is not something that youhave to click on and off.
  This is not something you haveto toggle.
  There's not a special versionof MetaMask you have to log into
  .
  In the future, from now on,when you log into your MetaMask
  wallet, you will be able toresolve both your ENS domains,
  stoppable domains thankful toour snap and, of course, all of

  the free name ecosystem, as longas a person has set the reverse
  resolution going into that part.
  Now, I'm saying that because aslong as somebody sets a reverse
  resolution, that was a part ofthe Web3 domain workshop.
  We kind of got cut off on alittle bit earlier yesterday.
  But, as I've said a milliontimes, your domains are your
  digital identity.
  Because of your identity, theyneed information in order for

  them to be useful.
  If you own a free name domainor a domain from anywhere, bro,
  set your records, set up anavatar, set reverse resolution,
  put in your wallet addresses,that's it.
