Episode 125 - On the night of Syren's Album Release Show, I sat down with Thomas- Guitarist and Steven- Drums. The band is currently on tour in China promoting their new album “Manifest.” They have played in Guangzhou, Beijing, Xi’an, and this weekend will perform at the popular Shanghai Calling festival.
The 2 songs we heard on the podcast were Emile and Maria, both from the new album. The band formed in late 2020 and have released animated film clips on board the RMS White Star, and have also released acoustic versions of the songs on the EP “Marooned”. Syren is led by the powerful vocals of Aika, and the band has a lot of energy on stage. Plans for the future are to record and release a new 20-track rock opera album. Syren is- Aika - Vocals, Thomas- Guitarist, Steven- Drums, Mickey- Bass.
