In this episode, we share the remarkable story of Cherith, a woman who endured unimaginable pain and darkness. She survived physical and sexual abuse, and her depression became so severe that it led to muscle atrophy. Isolated in her room for days on end, she went as long as two months without a shower or brushing her teeth. But then, in the midst of her suffering, she met Jesus, and her life took a transformative turn from despair to hope.
Cherith’s journey led her to AGORA Ministries, where she participated in a mission trip and later joined our discipleship school. Now, she’s been serving as a missionary on our team for over two years. Soon, Cherith will be heading to Honduras to minister to the poor and to others who have experienced abuse, sharing the same hope and healing she found.
