It's common for most homes to be a bit stuck on where to store shoes - for two reasons...

  1. our homes don't generally come with any designated shoe storage
  2. we have WAY too many pairs of shoes!

I encourage you today to declutter shoes which are too small, you don't wear anymore, have holes, are uncomfortable etc. And then when you see how many shoes you have left, be really intentional about how you are going to store your shoes.

Maybe they belong at the bottom of your wardrobe on a shoe rack or in a catch all tub. Maybe you have storage at your front or back door. The key is to use the system you have, and if it's really not working, design something new. Most important is that you stick with the system once you have it in place. Build those habits of putting your shoes away and you'll never be late again because you can't find your shoes!
