Chapter 2: Be Scared, But Do It Anyways

Amy Heath is a dog trainer that is based out of Shoshone ID, running her company Talented K9. (www.facebook.com/TalentedK9) We talk about her journey as she experimented with different styles and through trial and error she landed on her current training style. In this chapter, we talk about how to ethically chose a dog for your family, some breed-specific issues, and what creates a reactive dog. We discuss how training dogs made her a better parent, and how sometimes you have to just do the thing, even if it scares the poop outta you.
