Chapter 8: Start Over

Alex from Kinkatopia!!! GUYS!!! I am soooooo excited to share this one with you. I hopped onto one of Alex’s lives and asked her to join The Artemis Diaries and she said yes!! I won’t lie, I screamed when she said yes. I am so glad she couldn’t hear me then. Alex is real. She’s real about her faults, her emotions, and her strengths. She does incredible work in the rescue world for exotics and educating the public about these amazing little creatures called Kinkajous. We connected so much, to the point that she has helped me with some challenges I have reached with my own exotic education business. We talk about grief, addiction, loss, the ugly that can be the internet and about social media and the roles it plays now in the animal industry. But we also talk about how animals saved us, and how we are paying them back. Just remember that you can start over as many times as you need to get to where you are going. You are just as qualified as anyone else, and stop comparing yourself to others. You are worthy.
