TW: Infant death, suicide, human impact on the earth, cruelty to animals
This episode is a hard one. It really rocked my view points on some major topics, which I am so thankful for. Ariel is a Tik Toker who does content about wild Killer Whales on the coast of Washington. She tells us stories from the woman led pods and how they survive in a world that we as humans have destroyed. Their stories are about loss and perseverance. I cry, several times, as my heart aches for these creatures who are more like us than I ever realized.
I kept thinking about the second Avatar movie and the many similarities… you're going to learn some fascinating facts about Killer Whales, I hope no one counts how many times I say "That's crazy!" Because, well, it's a lot. But I was truly mind blown by this chapter.
I love this podcast as it is challenging me every day to learn new things and become a better person. Thank you for coming along on this journey with me. You all are becoming my pod ❤️
