On April 2, 2025, a tip led to law enforcement excavating a site on Pine Creek Road in Scioto County, Ohio. The tip said that the remains of three missing people from 40+ years ago might be there. In 1982, seven people died from Tylenol contaminated by cyanide. It resulted in the largest voluntary recall in U.S. history up until that point. Tylenol was pulled off of the shelves, law enforcement canvassed neighborhoods with bullhorns, and the health department was going door-to-door. This also spawned over 270 copycat cases. There were two suspects in this case and we are going to exam them and everything that transpired.
Evidence pointed to Herb Baumeister possibly being the I-70 Strangler. To strengthen this suspicion, 10,000 human remains were found on his property.
