While reading the book you will find that Pastor Mims faced discrimination throughout his life and in the military but he talks about empowerment and how he overcame certain trials. As well as the importance of mental health, therapy and having a solid family support system. We would love the opportunity of Pastor Mims being a guest on your The Black Male Archives one day to talk about manhood, marriage, ministry, mental health and so much more. With hopes that his story and the book resonates with all readers and in particular Black men. Wishing that they will soon see a champion within themselves.
