We know self tanners. We love self tanners. To us, self-tanner for men are a necessary part of life. You see a pale dude on the street and he looks like a fish out of water. It's a real problem, bro. But this exact passion for self-tanner is why Bro Glo is so rad.

From real estate to real life and everything in
between the Brad Wiseman showand now your host, brad.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Wiseman Wow, what an introduction.
Thank you, Jason.
Jason has such a great voice.
I gotta say the guy that didthat just has blows my mind.
So, if you remember, a coupleweeks ago we had a guy in the
studio.
His name was Aaron Thompson.
He was through streaming and heis an afterlife researcher, but
the reason we're covering himis because he's now becoming a

(00:32):
realtor.
So I want to welcome you backto the show and we are going to
talk more about how his journeyis going.
What's up, Aaron?
How you doing.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Brad thanks so much for having me back on.
Yeah, no problem, I'm superstoked, super appreciative of
being a guest, of course, onyour show.
Congratulations, by the way.
Oh, thank you, man, Iappreciate it.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Thanks, and we're trying to get our cadence.
This is the second show of theBrad Wiseman show and I'm just
trying to get that cadence down, like I'm so used to going.
Hi, this is Brad Wiseman, hedoesn't do real estate, so just
trying to get that down.
I'm getting it, I'm getting thecadence.
So yeah, so you were on beforewe talked about what you were
doing.
Then you did the 28 DaysHaunted with Netflix.
You were actually you weregoing to do some ghost stuff or

(01:17):
some afterlife stuff.
When we talked, you were gonethat weekend.
I think you were up in Maine orVermont or somewhere.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Massachusetts.
Massachusetts weekend andactually in a couple of days,
I'll be in Michigan, michigan, keynoting that or at least one
of the big speakers a pretty, pretty large ghost hunting event
or paranormal event.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Good, that's awesome, so okay, so let's jump into the
real estate thing.
That's why we're here.
So you, you, you contacted meabout becoming an agent and you
wanted to change your you know, change or add to your career
choices here.
You know how's it been going.
You are now.
You're now on the point ofdoing all the classes, right?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Yeah, I'm on the classes right now.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
And how are you finding those classes?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
It's a lot more complex.
I mean, I assumed the world ofrealty has as complexities.
Of course, right, but justreally digging into the books
and the studies and just thedifferent terminologies that's
utilized, it gives me a hugeamount of respect, you know, for

(02:22):
those who who hold the licenseand and out there practicing
actively.
It's, it's pretty awesome, youknow.
That's a good word to use, Ifeel.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
But is it discouraging you or is it?
Are you feeling like you made amistake getting into this life,
into this new career?
Or are you thinking, oh okay, Ilike this, I like where it's
going?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
I like this.
I love where this is going.
Okay, good, absolutely fits.
It's my, my mindset, my, Iguess, work ethic and behavior
of the hustle of pushing forwardand making things happen and
helping people.
I mean this is a perfectlytailored pivot or career move
for me.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I'm totally stoked with the, with the adventure and
even seeing all this trainingin the classes.
Honestly, it's motivated meeven more.
Cool, very cool.
So there can be be complexitieswithin within the niche of real
estate.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Yeah, what's interesting about that?
You know, we actually have aterm in Keller Williams called
the language of real estate.
They call it lore, and you'llprobably learn more of that
stuff as you go along.
But, if you'll notice, it'slike learning a different
language because of the termsthat we use, because of the
things that we you know, we say,we do things like that.
It's like a different language.
It really is.
So when do you think you'regoing to be taking a test?

(03:43):
I'm sorry, the first cat everon the podcast, Did you?
Who go?
You can't hear it, you don'tknow.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
You can hear it Fairly needy cat, oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Everyone.
Oh my gosh, what's the cat'sname?
Sox, sox, very good, very goodcat name.
I like that.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
So we never guess why .

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, I could see that.
Absolutely, oh my gosh.
So what do you?
So when do you think you'regoing to be taking?

Speaker 1 (04:07):
this test?
Honestly, I want to.
I'm on schedule, if not by theend of next week, early week
after.
So less than two weeks.
Wow, no-transcript.
Yeah, and there's a lot more toyou know.
I honestly expected to do iteven quicker, but when I got

(04:28):
into it I realized a lot to thisyeah, pace myself and just kind
of take that data in asappropriate.
Amazing, yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
So you're looking to actually start selling houses
would be in December or end ofNovember.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
December first has always been my in my brand, even
since mid-mid 2023.
And I'd finally push actiontowards this adventure.
December first was always thenumber that I wanted to aim for
and it's kind of the exceedingnumber Right.
Realistically, what that tellsme is I want to be in it before

(05:05):
the new year, before 2024 hits.
So to me that's that's you know, the month before early.
So December first is kind of mytarget so I can achieve that,
gotcha.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
That's good.
We were talking about your, your thing that you do now,
which is the afterliferesearching.
Do you think that you're goingto put those kind of things
together?
Do you think, when you go tolist a house that you might like
say, hey, you know what, I'mfeeling, something, or are you
going to bring that up, that youdo that?
Are you going to say, hey, I'mthe realtor that can you know,

(05:39):
get your skeletons out of yourcloset.
I mean, you're going to usethat in your marketing somehow?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Good, I could.
I, you know I don't want tolean, I don't want to lean
against it.
You know I want to go with it.
Yeah, so you know, peopleGoogle me.
They're going to see this thingthat I do.
It's, you know, it's on Netflix.
It's um and years of me beingin the media and one uh former
or another.
So I I don't want to be scaredof of this narrative that I've,

(06:06):
that I'm very comfortable withand I think it'll be fun to ask
someone you know like me leaninginto the uh, either through
marketing, either goofy orserious, or I can pull back and
let's say, on a more seriousnote, let's say there is someone
who's more spiritual, uh, goinginto a house.
They really like this house, but there's something that

(06:28):
happened there that wasn'tcomfortable.
All right, they're very, veryconcerned.
They don't want to get thehouse because of this, or at
least that could be a bigattribute of them not getting it
and walking away.
Well, someone like like me, Ican go in there and explain to
them that energy um, at leastwith my my history, energy

(06:49):
itself is applied by by humans,by us.
So we can, we can get this badenergy out and we can apply your
new energy in your home andkeep that, sustain and grow, let
that grow with you.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
So we got to plant that healthy seed of that new
energy which is, which is verythat's cool, that's very cool
and I think that's good becauseyou know a lot of times when,
when things you could you couldspecialize in in properties,
that that people do thinksomething's going on, you know,
and I think that'd be goodbecause that's that's like a
niche, that's definitely a nichebusiness right there.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
And in historical homes too.
You know, I find myself inhistorical locations for more
you know 20 over 20 years now.
I'm just doing what I do, so Ifeel comfortable in those older
locations as well.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
And you know I'm not my whole narrative.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
you know, if we want to do just a regular new new
construction sell, you know ofcourse I'll be there for that.
But yeah, I think I can reallylean more towards that taboo
community.
And I know a lot of folks whoyou know in my world who come
and visit me and shake my handat these events I go to and I

(07:55):
speak at that they're on,they're on board with the idea
of someone like me that's notscared of the ghostly narrative.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
No, I think it's awesome.
It's definitely a niche therebecause obviously when we talk
about, you know, energy andafterlife and ghosts and
whatever you want to call them,I mean that stuff typically
happens in buildings.
It's not like it's happening, you know, outside in the street
it's usually in homes, it's inbuildings.
You know, a lot of timeshistorical properties they talk

(08:26):
about all the time.
We were just down in Cape Maythis past weekend.
You know we talked about it,then we talked.
You know there's a whole ghosttour you can do in Cape May.
Those buildings are, thosehouses are from like the mid
1800s.
So you know that there'sstories and things that go on.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
You got to think.
Where do we, as humans, apply alot of our big emotional beats
like a really extreme moments, our passion, our attachment to
those houses, those largestpurchases that we make in our
life?
Absolutely it means somethingto us.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Listen to him.
He's talking the lingo.
The largest purchases of ourlife you are definitely.
I can tell you're listening tothat and, by the way, you're
social media.
You're doing a lot of socialmedia right now.
People should look you up.
It's Aaron Thompson.
He's got some really coolclever social media bits.
He's doing an Instagram and onFacebook that are very actually
they're catchy.
You know, thank you, and Ithink you're doing a good job

(09:15):
with that and I think that'sgoing to really help you.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
You can fuse both of them together, respectively.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Absolutely, and it seems to be working too.
What do you think about all thepaperwork that we have to do in
real estate?
I mean, you probably didn'trealize we have all this
paperwork to do.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
So funny to mention that I was actually just before
before we got on with oneanother.
I just looking up assistance,yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Oh you're looking up assistant Like oh, that's funny.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yeah, even I was even going.
Do they have any like AIassistance, which they have a
couple coming out?
I know that's like virtualassistance are.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Virtual assistance would be the one that you can do
.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Exactly, they're great.
A lot of people Philippines, Iguess have a good.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yes, and they're fantastic.
I mean, they do, they do areally good job and they don't,
you know, at most industries, Ithink today, have some virtual
assistants that are availableand I'll tell you you can they
do a nice job, they really do.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
And you know the thing my strong point, of course
, is being in front of thepeople and tell the proper and
even, you know, marketing atsome degree and just being out
there and then speaking atevents and going to open houses
yeah, and being present isreally where my strength is.
I can do the paperwork.
I've managed offices before, sothat's not an issue.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
It's just not my favorite thing to do Totally get
it.
I don't do much of it either, and I know people love the paper
.
Oh yeah, and I have an actualvirtual assistant.
Well, it used to be virtualassistant.
Now she's actually in my officehere, so it is.
It's the best man.
Transaction coordinators arethe best.
All right, so is there anythingelse before we end this, this

(10:47):
segment here, cause we're goingto come back to you when, after
you pass the test, I want totalk to you.
Well.
Well, here's the thing.
We want to jinx it, but you'regoing to have to pass the test
before December 1st.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
That's just the way it is.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Because if you don't, we're going to have a show.
It's going to be called.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
He didn't pass the test and that's that wasn't
something that we thought wewere going to do.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
We should actually do .
You live taking the tests, andthat would be really stressful.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (11:10):
about that.
He'll be sweating.
Oh my God, it'll be terrible.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
They probably won't let you take cameras.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
No, there's no cameras allowed in there.
It's pretty strict.
So tell me, I'm going to be anactor though.
Yes, you could, yes, you could, but we hope you pass.
Obviously, we want you to passbecause we want to keep the
story going, but what else?
Is there anything else beforewe end the show that you, you
know, you're like, you're intoit and you're going, wow.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Everyone follow me.
Let's start connecting on.
At Tizmy Air and G, I'm just, yeah, just prepping for my new
adventure and, you know, thankful for Brad being
associated with me.
You know, being being in myworld, yeah, and I'm excited.
I'm excited.
Keep hitting those, thosechallenges of the school.
This is the real deal, guys.
Yeah, it is Becoming a realtor.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
And also tell already where you're at, where you at
like, as far as location country.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
So I'm, I'll be based out of Quad Cities, what is on
the border of Illinois.
So I'm getting my Illinoislicense first and then I'm
getting my Iowa license to backthe nice thing from.
From what I understand and thisis me being being raw and real
and what I understand, uh, whatI was told is I'm getting my

(12:22):
Illinois license first becauseit's one of the more difficult
states to achieve that I guesslonger uh exam, and then after
that I will go to and it's allat home and after that I go to
Iowa, um and do theirs, andsince I completed a lot of the
uh achievements on Illinois side, a lot of that transfers over

(12:45):
Correct, so it's a shortertimeframe.
Yes, Get to the exam, Yep.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
So the way it works, a lot of places Like we have
reciprocating states too, likeMaryland is a reciprocating
state for us, we can actuallyjust uh, fill out some paperwork
and we can be a Maryland agent, okay, and that might be a
little bit like that.
Yeah, absolutely.
All right, man, we're going towrap this up.
We're going to see you afteryou passed your test, so we're
going to keep you to that it'sgoing to be December 1st.
We'll be with you sometimeafter your test.

(13:13):
So after you take your test, you're going to let us know you
passed and then we're going tohave you back on here.
How's that?

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Cool, I look forward to it.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Awesome, man, great for being on here.
Thank you so much, man.
I'll take care, all right, there you have it.
Aaron Thompson, he is kickingbutt.
The guy's like almost done withhis test or almost ready for
his test and he just he just, you know, started doing things.
So it's pretty amazing.
Um, yeah, so we're going tohave him back after he passes

(13:40):
the test and we're going to havehim here.
We're going to put him in a hotseat and he's going to tell us
all about it, and he better passbefore December 1st or we'll
have to call it some other show,so it won't worry us.
All right, thank you so muchfor watching the Brad Wiesman
show.
We'll see you next Thursday at7pm.
