Yuri Bezmenov was a former KGB Operative that was stationed in New Delhi, India as part of Soviet efforts to subvert them. Instead he fell in love with the people and the culture and decided to defect.
He escaped the Soviet Union in the 1970's and settled in Los Angeles, California in the 1980's where he gave a series of interviews and lectures about the four stages of ideological subversion.
