Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Cashflow and Manifestation
Project Podcast.
My name is Katie Smith and I ama Manifestation and Mindset
Coach.
I'm a mom who successfully tookone of those little side
hustles and built it into asix-figure business with the
tools of manifestation and somespiritual woo.
Every week, I'll shareuplifting conversations,
interviews and talks centered onunlocking your inner magic,

(00:22):
pushing past limits and creatinga reality even wilder than your
dreams.
If you enjoy listening totopics on money, mindset and
manifesting, then you've come tothe right place.
I'm obsessed with helping womentransform to their next level
of freedom and wealth.
I hope you enjoyed today'sepisode.
Now let's begin.

(00:42):
Welcome back to another episodeof the Cashflow and
Manifestation Project.
Today I want to talk about thethree questions that one would
want to ask themselves to removemoney blocks.
So this is going to be a goodone, and it's three potent
questions that require you toreflect, requires you to journal

(01:03):
.
Yeah, you can like think aboutas you're driving, because
usually when people arelistening to a podcast, they are
doing something.
So just make a note to comeback so that you can listen to
these again and start working onthem and see what comes up.
Because when we put pen topaper, we really allow our
subconscious to come throughwithout knowing it.
I don't really know why, but Ijust know, when you do pen to

(01:26):
paper, subconscious like kind oflike it's like at the gateway
and some goodness can come out,and so I always recommend that.
Also, it's like you have timeto take for yourself.
Like that's the other thing too.
Like I know we're all busy, butyou are worthy of sitting down
with a journal and some quiettime to work on this stuff.
Do you know what I mean?

(01:50):
So like owe yourself that, likegive yourself that.
So these are the questions thatI really, when I started to ask
myself these questions, it waslike really allowed me to see
what came up, naturally, whenthinking about this, obviously
with complete self-compassion,no judgment on yourself
whatsoever.
Information is power, knowledgeis power.
So you're just finding out moreinformation about your brain,

(02:12):
which then allows you to changeit because of a thing called
neuroplasticity, which isamazing, and so you should give
this a try and see what comes upfor you.
So the first question I have iswhat is my first memory of money
and how did it make me feel?
When I first was asked thisquestion?
I honestly didn't know.
I didn't know at all, but amemory of mine came up about a

(02:37):
brand new car that my parentshad gotten and how I treated
that car to get my dad's love.
Oh, here we go.
Wow, my parents totally listento this, or my mom does.
So this is funny.
So my first memory of moneywasn't necessarily money, but it
was an object which was relatedto money.
So I'll explain this to you.

(02:57):
So I and I'm always gonna betransparent, honest on here,
Like I have no shame, that's, Iwill always be that way.
So, mom, I love you, but we'regood, it's fine.
So I remember this brand newcar.
It was like a beautiful greenSuburban with tan trim over the
wheels, brand new tan interior.
It was awesome, it was nice.

(03:18):
And my dad he takes such goodcare of things because of his
lack mindset and money is sohard to come by and that came
from his mom.
It's honestly generational, like in our DNA wiring and
that's the thing I've referredto, the book the Emotion Code.
I've done that on myself and itis confirmed that that is like
DNA wiring, so like you got toreally work hard to rewire that.

(03:40):
But he was very much somebodywho was like you work hard for
things and it's never going tocome around again.
You better take care of ituntil it literally doesn't work
anymore.
That's just my dad.
I love him so much and I lovethat work ethic and he's a big
reason of why I work so hardtoday.
But now I know that I don'thave to, and so I remember he
was waxing this car.

(04:01):
I mean, he's brand new, he justwashed it and he was waxing it
and I so desperately wanted acloser relationship with my dad.
My parents are married.
I'm one of four, I'm numberthree out of the four, and by no
means do I not have a goodrelationship with my dad.
It just hasn't been very close, and that again comes from his.
Anyways, I'm sharing too much, but that's what I'm here to do.
And I remember kissing the carbecause I wanted to show him

(04:26):
like hey, I see how much youlove this.
Look at I love it too.
Like this is so great.
Look at me.
Kiss the car.
And he lost it on me.
Like I'm telling you, obviouslythis is my first memory of money
and I can't, like I couldn'teven process why I'm, like I'm
literally you're denying my love, like all the things.

(04:47):
But let me bring this back downto money.
Is I related?
I associated money as like nota happy experience, like I don't
want nice things because Ican't even like treat it nicely
and like it's still not.
I'm not enough and so moneycannot be good.
Money can't be good to mebecause I mean, if it's gonna

(05:09):
have you act like this like it'sso stressful, you're so excited
but no one can touch it, likeit's this like thing that makes
everyone on edge.
My nervous system is all overthe place.
I want nothing to do with thatNow.
Of course, when I first thoughtof this memory, I didn't have
the intellect that I do nowabout what just happened, about
the exchange I just shared withyou.

(05:30):
Like that took a lot of therapyand self reflecting and
connecting dots in my own deepmanifestation work.
But this is giving you an ideaof asking yourself this question
and figuring out like, was itactually like cash in your hand,
a check money?
Maybe it was not no object, like mine was the car.

(05:50):
Maybe it was no object, but itwas a conversation that your
parents had and you overheard itor they would talk to you about
it.
Whatever it is, understandingthat memory and how it made you
feel will literally tell youeverything, because that's
pretty much the foundation ofyour money story.
Okay, the second question Ididn't think I'd even go there,
so like, whew, now you know alittle bit about me.

(06:11):
That's cool, okay.
Second question is if moneycould talk, what would it say to
you?
So, think about that.
If you could sit down and thinkif money could communicate with
you.
It can say words to you and itasks you out on a lunch date and
you're sitting there and themenus are in front of you and

(06:33):
the waiter's coming up andyou're like, yeah, I'll just
take a nice tea and money ordersa water with lemon and the
waiter leaves.
And but you're like, yeah, I'lljust take a nice tea and money
orders a water with lemon andthe waiter leaves and money's
like, okay, like we need to talk.
What would it say?
Would it feel loved by you?
Would it want more attention?
Would it be thankful for theway you've treated money?

(06:56):
Would it feel used?
Yeah, what kind of questionswould they ask you?
Would they say what makes youthink that I don't like you?
What makes you feel that youcan't have more of me in your
life?
Like, think about it as if itis a human talking to you.
What would they say?

(07:16):
And remember, when you'rehaving this conversation, you
are not to be having any kind ofcriticism come through, because
money is a neutral, limitlessresource.
It does not have opinions, itjust wants to get to know you.
It just wants to actually be inyour life just like the
sunshine, just like rain, justlike oxygenburned over there.
That means I'm not getting asmuch sun rays, it's not a thing.

(07:39):
No Same thing for money.
Obviously, money is how oursociety works, so that's why we
pay so much attention to it.
But we have to detach from thatdetachment, just like the other
episode I recorded, and we haveto just see it for what it is.
So that's a really juicyquestion.

(08:00):
This is why you got to bejournaling this, like see what
comes up, and really go there, like what happens, what comes up
, and it'll tell you a lot.
And just remember, knowledge ispower.
Like this is not to be like, ohmy gosh, something's wrong with
me.
No, no, no, no, no.
Let me stop you right there.
That's not the point here.
It's just to understand furtheryour money story, your money
narrative, to then be able tochange it.
Okay.
Third and final questions whatthoughts do I have about people

(08:22):
who are wealthy or have what Iwant?
So let me ask that again whatthoughts do I hold about wealthy
people or people who have whatI want?
That will also tell you a lot, because if there's any form of
jealousy that just shows you alittle bit of information,
that's it.
If you feel like it'spossibility, you're on a very

(08:46):
good track.
But normally that's not reallywhere people go.
That's like an experiencedenergetics person who can go
there.
But if you can, that's amazing.
This question is really funbecause it makes me think of the
universal law, the law ofoneness, which means what's
possible for one is possible forall, and that we are all
connected, interconnected tosource God, and so it doesn't

(09:11):
mean that it's actually that faraway from us.
We just have to align ourselves, our energy, with it, and
that's usually working throughthis identity block, which some
people say it's money block, butyou'll know, if you work with
me or if you've done any of myprograms, that the biggest block
is an identity block of likewho am I to have this, who am I
to achieve this and deserve thisand all of that?

(09:32):
And so it's really, reallyinteresting stuff.
I love it the mind and mindsetand money and I just geek out
over it.
I love it so much and I lovehelping people awaken to their
own, because that's powerful.
Oh my gosh, to not be triggeredby something that we have to
use every day money and tobecome more abundant makes the

(09:53):
world a happier place and itjust like jazzes me up so much.
So I want to leave you withremember that mindset is where
wealth starts.
Remember that mindset is wherewealth starts.
Wealth starts with your mind.
Okay, so these questions willget you even closer to that
wealth, to that financialfreedom, to the financial peace

(10:13):
of the joy, the ease, the flow, the life that you dream of.
Slow mornings, just relaxed, relieved these are gonna help
you get even closer to there.
And if you want to go deeper, you have access to my free
resource, which is my secrets onhow to never worry about money
again, and I am coming out withsomething that's very exciting,

(10:37):
a free event.
You're going to keep your eyesand ears open for that.
It's going to be epic, likeepic, life changing, like I
don't even say those two wordslightly, but if you like
anything that you hear now likeit's going to be that on
steroids.
Like I can't even tell you, like this is just my free stuff,
like if you've ever like goneinto my programs, or especially

(11:01):
you know how deep I go and it'sthe transformation of my
clients, it's just so exciting.
And my students, I like I justhow is this real life?
I'm so obsessed.
I love, love, love it.
