Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and welcome to
this episode.
I'm your host, darci Sullivanfrom Propel Marketing and Design
.
Today, we are talking about oneof the easiest ways to grow
your clinic, and that's to tapinto somebody else's audience.
Leveraging somebody else'saudience is one of the most
(00:23):
fantastic ways to exponentiallygrow your business, especially
if you are just getting startedfrom scratch or you're
bootstrapping your business orclinic.
You can do this by offering theother audience a solution that
(00:44):
solves their problem and makingsure that that audience also
overlaps with the audience youare trying to attract to your
business.
In addition to getting accessto a whole new audience, it also
gives you additional contentfor you to publish on social
(01:05):
media, send out an email blastand, when done correctly, can
provide backlinks to yourwebsite, both of which can help
with your overall SEO.
(01:31):
So let's look at some examples.
Let's go over five examplesthat I hope can provide
inspiration for you on how youcan connect with a new audience.
Number one if you are a clinicowner, like a chiropractor,
(01:51):
physical therapist,physiotherapist, acupuncturist,
you might want to considerpartnering with a local gyms or
other community groups.
This could be gyms,nutritionists, running
triathlete groups, biking, otherteams, other companies that
(02:14):
offer services similar to yours.
For instance, if you're anacupuncturist, you could
consider creating a partnershipwith a chiropractic company.
These could be parenting groupsor local schools, charities and
more.
This allows you to have events, hopefully, with these
(02:39):
partnerships, allowing you toexpand your audience.
We've seen this done many times, for example, when a
chiropractor partners with alocal gym and they go to the
local gym and they host an event.
(03:00):
Maybe it's about stretching orhow to properly prepare yourself
before you lift weights.
There's tons of ways that youcan connect with that audience
if that's what you're lookingfor.
Number two is to get interviewedon a podcast.
You can look for health podcast.
(03:22):
This allows you to reallyposition yourself as an
authority figure and again growyour audience.
Content like this is also greatcontent that you can email your
current audience along withincluding information on your
(03:42):
website.
If you were to be interviewedon a podcast, it's really great
to direct people to something onyour website that could add
additional value.
So, for instance, if you were achiropractor and you were being
(04:03):
interviewed by a running doctorpodcast a podcast about running
and as a bonus, you told themto go to your website and they
would be able to access aspecial download of three
stretches that you should dobefore you run.
(04:24):
Then you could collect emailsby having them go to your
website and having thatadditional bonus information
ready for them to download ifthey provide their email address
.
Number three you can createinstructional videos that you
share with Facebook groups andother groups.
(04:46):
We all know that video isgrowing, growing, growing, but
why not repurpose content you'realready creating for your own
company and leverage it?
You could do this by sharing itwith a Facebook group or other
groups.
These could be community groupsor they could be specific
(05:10):
interest groups.
This is a great way to growyour reach as well With
something like this.
Just remember to always includea link or information on how
they can get to your website sothat people will come to your
website and hopefully book anappointment with you and
(05:35):
hopefully book an appointmentwith you.
You can provide health andwellness lectures or courses
that directly relate to whatother people's audiences are
looking for.
Providing a knowledgeable classor lecture is going to set you
in front of your competition byhelping you stand out and making
(05:56):
you look like an expert.
Some examples could be sportsinjury in patients for sports,
enhancement, preventing orproactive chiropractic health
care.
Chronic back pain, posture, workstation setup, anything of
(06:16):
the sort.
Now, if you were to providesomething like this and let's
say, you do fall in the categoryof chiropractors,
acupuncturists, physicaltherapists one place that you
could look to promote contentlike this that might be a good
fit would be co-working spaces, providing them with information
(06:43):
about proper workstation setup.
Another example to help you growyour audience through
leveraging other people'saudiences is to do a social
media takeover with one of yourpartners.
It's kind of nice to do thisbecause of the fact that if your
(07:04):
business is active on Instagramand you go on Instagram with
one of your partners and you goon Instagram with one of your
partners, you're able to reallyget kind of the thumbs up from
somebody else.
It positions you as thoughother people already know, like
and trust you, and it gives youagain access to a whole new
(07:27):
audience.
These are just a few ways thatyou can leverage other people's
audiences.
Of course, you can always lookto see what your chamber of
commerce is doing or what anyother local organizations are
doing and ways that you canposition yourself in the
(07:48):
community.
If you're interested in otherideas, maybe for in-person
events, please check out theepisode we did on how to
leverage in-person events togrow your online presence.
Again, you can kind of just sitdown and brainstorm.
Think about groups that youcould partner with.
(08:11):
Think about businesses youcould partner with.
Think about clubs that youcould partner with.
Think about schools that youcan partner with.
Think about value that you canadd.
That would really impress otherpeople's audiences.
