Speaker 1 (00:00):
So you want to love your life, have a lot of money,
contribute, serve the world, enjoy yourself in the process.
This is what you need to startdoing more of.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Stay tuned, it's going to be a good one, you're
tuning into the ConfidentConnected Leader podcast, your
premier destination for breakingthrough your current
professional barriers.
Welcome to the show leaders.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
So today we're going to talk about how to really have
it all, and there is a beliefsystem in the world where many
people think that you can't haveit all, or you can't have it
all at the same time, or this orthat or whatever limitation

(01:10):
that someone wants to speak overyou or speak over their own
life.
I believe you really can haveit all, and to me, having it all
and to me having it all, thedefinition is acting in

(01:33):
accordance to your top highestvalues, being in a place of
inner peace, joy for the mostpart not every day, not every
second, obviously and allowingthe full expression of you out
in the world.
And through this, you truly dohave it all.

(02:10):
Everything you need is going tobe available for you when you
need it.
You will be in a state ofexcitement, of satisfaction, but
also welcoming in moreexpansion, and you'll be
enjoying the process, which iswhat it is all about.
You do not need to sacrificeparts of your life experience.

(02:35):
That's a very human way oflooking at it.
It's a very closed off, boxedin way of looking at it.
When we look at it from ahigher perspective, it truly is

(02:59):
about allowing the fullexpression of you out in the
world and magnetizing to youwhat you need at that time or
what you desire, what's going tohelp you live a fulfilled,
prosperous, joyous life whereyou get to serve the world in
whatever capacity you want to do.
And when I say serve the world, that could mean on a grand

(03:21):
stage, doing incredible things.
Could mean on a grand stage, doing incredible things.
Or it could mean on a smallerstage, in your community, doing
incredible things, and theseincredible things can be making
someone smile, making someone'sday a little bit better, or it

(03:41):
can be impacting millions andmillions of people.
It's what your full expressionis here to do and experience,
and it starts with understandingwhat your values are.
What do you value?
So a few years ago, I started to.

(04:04):
Well, I started to.
A few years ago there were alot of passings in my life.
There were some friends whopassed over.
There were some people that Iused to go to school with, some
family members of friends, myfamily members.
There was quite a few peoplewho passed away and I went to a

(04:30):
lot of their celebration of life.
Some of them were quite nice, some of them were a little more
emotional for various reasons, but each one helped me to really
introspect in my own life andquestion am I truly living in

(04:53):
alignment with my values or am Igetting somewhat lost in doing
trying to climb a mountain, trying to achieve, trying to
make all these things happen, when other things that actually
matter to me are being neglectedand not focused on and

(05:21):
achievements made through somuch force and sacrifice and
pushing and pushing and all thisstuff, at least for me, have
not been that enjoyable.
When I've actually gotten tothe achievement, it's been kind

(05:43):
of like, okay, okay, what's next?
Great, this wasn't actually asamazing as I had imagined it in
my head, whereas the things I'vedone that have truly been just
such a pleasure to do and haveabsolutely felt like they were

(06:06):
coming from my soul and theoutcome of that regardless of
what the outcome is in the worldhas just been so
soul-fulfilling and enjoyableand have led to so many other

(06:29):
wonderful things.
So I want you to start ponderingthe ideas of how can I allow
the full expression of me out inmy business, in the work that
I'm doing in the world, so I canstart magnetizing a whole new

(06:49):
world to me, whether that meansmore finances, whether that
means deeper, more meaningfulrelationships deeper, more
meaningful creations that you'rebringing out in the world.
Stop worrying so much aboutwhat's going to work or not work

(07:11):
, or what's on trend, or whatthe economy is going to want and
all these things that canreally hinder our
self-expression, and I want youto look at what truly wants to

(07:33):
be birthed through you in theworld, because when we do that
work first, then we can make thetweaks necessary that may
benefit it let's say, within themarket or when we're doing our
marketing or when we're doingour selling as opposed to trying

(07:59):
to figure out what's going towork first, putting it out in
the world something that seemslike a great idea, and then it's
a complete flop show.
I can't tell you how many timesin my business, anytime, I've
done that.
Try to figure out what's thebest or try to figure out you

(08:21):
know all these things and thenit does so poorly, as opposed to
other times where I've justbeen in the energy of joy and
fun and excitement and allowedwhatever creation wanted to come
through to come through and Ifelt really great putting it out

(08:45):
in the world and it's donefantastic with very little force
or push with very little forceor push.
So I want you to start to thinkabout what do I want to express
to the world, how do I want toshow up in the world and how may
I be stifling my true gifts, trying to conform to something

(09:10):
that I'm not?
And this may run deep.
You may have been conforming tosomething for a very long time
and I wasn't scared to gooutside the box with things.

(09:43):
You know, I remember my mom andI going and buying this felt
black jacket and at the time Iwas just like this is so
dreadfully boring, like I cannotwear Now.
Now, today, I would wear it.
But then I was like, oh, Ican't wear just a plain black

(10:04):
felt jacket, I need to put somepizzazz into this.
And we went to the, the fabricstore and I got this animal
print fur to put all or the coatwell, not all over it, like on
the collar and on the sleeves, and it just looked fantastic.
It was so my style.

(10:25):
And when I would walk in themall and this was when I was
about 15, 15 or 16, I would walkin the mall and I would have
women approaching me all thetime giving me compliments on my
coat and my hair and my looks, and they'd ask you know how old
are you?
And I tell them and they werejust shocked because the way I

(10:47):
carried myself was like a mucholder woman.
And it was simply because I wasin total alignment with how I
felt, what I wanted to expressin the world.
I felt confident and I wasmagnetizing people toward me,
magnetizing them.
Now, on a flip side, when Ifirst started my business I

(11:11):
think it was a couple years in,maybe not even a couple of years
, probably not even a couple ofyears it was probably right
around the beginning and I hadthis idea in my head that I had
to be really professional.
Now, not that you shouldn't beprofessional, I mean, we want to
be professional but I had afalse image in my head of what

(11:36):
professional meant.
I thought that meant, you know, boring corporate from the 1980s
or 90s and 10s.
And I remember one day, like Ihad taken off my nails, you know

(12:03):
, I was always straightening myhair, I was wearing not very
like more natural makeup and, bythe way, there's nothing wrong
with any of that.
There are women that lookstunning without anything
completely au natural.
In fact, women do look stunningau natural.

(12:24):
But this wasn't about melooking stunning or not stunning
.
This was more about how I feltand I was laying in bed one day
and I was looking at my nailsand I was just like I feel so
frumpy.
I do not feel good, I do notfeel like myself.

(12:47):
Screw this professionalism orwhatever the hell I had gotten
into my head that I thought Ishould be.
And the next day I remember Igot some really long nails, like
I went to the total flip side.
I'm like I can't even takethese.
I didn't even have nails on, Ijust had some nail polish.

(13:09):
It wasn't even great nailpolish and I'm like no, put on
the nails.
I put on the most brightest redlipstick, threw off this frumpy
sweater I had pulled out ofsomeone's closet and put on and
I put on the clothes that I feltgood in and my entire energy

(13:37):
field shifted.
My entire energy field changedand I remember putting out some
videos around that timeframe, around the couple of weeks that
this shift happened, and Iremember having so many comments
and positive remarks coming inBecause, again, I was in my

(14:03):
energy and when we are in ourtrue energy whatever that is
true for us maybe you think thatyou need to dress up and wear
makeup and do your hair fancyand wear fancy clothes, and
maybe that's not you at all.
Maybe you want to put on a.

(14:30):
What am I thinking of?
I'm thinking of a certain typeof outfit.
It's hard for me to explain.
I could see it in my head.
But maybe you wanna just haveall natural nails and no makeup
and put your hair in a messycute bun and that's what you
wanna do, but you feel like youcan't and it's stifling your

(14:52):
energy.
We want to make sure that we areliving in accordance to what
feels like self-expression to us, because when we feel like we
are expressing our natural selfand, by the way, when we express

(15:12):
our natural self and by the waywhen we express our natural
self, this is not going to causeharm to other people.
So if there's a fear of if Iexpress my natural self, then
I'm going to be somehow puttingpeople down or hurting other
people, putting people down orhurting other people, then I

(15:34):
would ask you the question arewe actually connected to that
expression coming from our coreself?
Or is that an ego programmingcoming through?
Because our natural coreexpression we have for a
particular reason, especially ifwe're entrepreneurs and

(15:58):
business leaders here to changethe world.
We have come in with certaingifts, abilities, likes,
dislikes, for a reason becausewe are meant to express them.
The more we express them, themore we call in the people that

(16:20):
are meant to be impacted by usand by our story and by the work
that we do in the world.
This is why we have certainlikes and dislikes.

(16:41):
You know, if I look at a lot ofmy clients, a lot of my clients
have many similarities to me.
Many of my clients love thesimilar clothes as me, the
similar clothes as me, similarlikes and dislikes.
And if I was trying to closethat all off and conceal it and
be someone that I thought I hadto be, then how would they ever

(17:06):
find me?
They would be confused, theywouldn't be certain if I was the
one for them and they may gowith someone else and miss out
on the connection that we couldhave had.
And so what are you suppressingright now that wants to come

(17:31):
out, and this can be as simpleas a hobby that you've been
thinking of that you haven'tallowed yourself to really dive
into, into.

(17:55):
I had a call with someone a fewyears ago and he was in a
corporate position.
He was not very happy, hewasn't unhappy, but he was
missing something.
He was a musician, musician andhe had kind of cut that off of

(18:15):
his life for various reasons.
And let me tell you, if you'rea musician and you are not
allowing yourself to bring thatpart into your world, you're
going to hit a wall somewherewhere it's just not going to
work anymore.
Like that is something withinyou that needs to come out, that

(18:36):
needs to be expressed, and youcan fit in the box whatever else
there is.
It doesn't have to be musician,it can be anything.
I'll give you an example ofsomeone who does this really
well.
So, lee Harris, if you'refamiliar with Lee Harris I love
Lee Harris he often tells astory of how where I believe I

(18:58):
may butcher this storycompletely he was trying to get
into the music world.
I don't think it was workingthat well.
His bread and butter was reallycoming from these intuitive

(19:21):
readings that he was doing.
And he tells a story of how hewas on a plane and he just heard
the message come through thatyou know you have to bring in
music Like you have to.
You have to allow this part ofyou to come through.
You just won't be able to likeyou will.

(19:44):
Your soul basically will wither.
He didn't use those exact words, but those are my words.
And if you see Lee Harris'swork that he does now, he brings
his music into everything.
He brings his music into hisintuitive readings, into his
channelings.
It's a huge part of his body ofwork.

(20:05):
So it may not have worked theway he initially thought it
should with the music industry, but he's made it work for
himself.
So how can you start bringing inthings that are important to
you, things that you love, thatyou you know when you're with

(20:28):
your best friend or you're withyour sibling or your parents or
your grandparents or whoever is,you know those few people who
get to see the side of us thatno one else gets to see.
Who are you with those people?
And maybe it's nobody, maybeit's just yourself, maybe it's
just with your animals or yourpets, or maybe nobody, maybe

(20:49):
just the trees outside get tosee you.
But that part of you that comesout in those moments when you
feel totally comfortable, thoseare the parts that you can start
getting curious of how you canbring those more into the work
that you do to feel morefulfilled, to feel more joyous,

(21:12):
to magnetize more opportunitiesto you, to magnetize more
prosperity, to magnetize deep, meaningful relationships that
are going to blow your mind, because you are being your true
self and those core soul peopleare being attracted to it.

(21:35):
What needs to come through you?
Start, wherever you're at withthat.
For me, often it starts withwhat's not working here with my
wardrobe, with what I'm doingwith my hair, my jewelry.

(21:56):
What do I want?
How do I want to express myself?
Because that is one of the waysI express myself that may be
completely different for you.
Then, however, after that, Istart moving into.
What am I doing with my time?
What am I doing with mybusiness?

(22:16):
What needs to be shifted?
What am I doing?
Because I think I should bedoing it, but it's one, it's not
enjoyable.
Two, it's probably not workingas well as it could work.
And then you start making somechanges.
You start having the courageand the bravery to show up as
your true self.

(22:38):
Not everyone is going to likethis.
Some people may think it'sweird when we stop trying to
please others and the collectiveand stop trying to tone down
our message and be somethingwe're not.
Yeah, we're gonna piss somepeople off.
They may not verbally attack us, but they may not like it, and

(23:00):
that's okay, because one noteveryone is gonna like us
regardless.
We couldn't even be the mostsweetest people, pleaser on the
planet and have everyone like us.
Not everyone's gonna like us,that's okay.
Sometimes your full expressionis gonna trigger people who feel

(23:21):
suppressed, but the more youcan express yourself and have
this come through, the moreyou're gonna attract the people
that are meant to hear yourmessage, be in your world and be
impacted by you.
I hope this was an enjoyableepisode for you.

(23:44):

(24:31):

us to.
This isn't just for the end ofthe year.
This is also to start next yearoff with a bang, to get focused
, to get clear, to delete thethings that are no longer

(24:51):
working in your business or inyour life, to focus on the
needle movers that feel really, really good for you and to tweak
, craft your vision.
If you don't have one yet, orwe're going to create an

(25:12):
entirely new one that alignswith the expression of you, and
we're gonna get going.
We're gonna start doing thework.
Accountability is a huge part ofthis program.
So is support to continuemoving forward.
The biggest reason I seeentrepreneurs hinder their

(25:34):
growth and progress is becausethey're overthinking, they're
overanalyzing, and this is I'mtalking about the really
intelligent, drivenentrepreneurs that I work with,
who love to overthink, tooveranalyze, to make it so much
harder than it needs to be.

(25:54):
We're gonna clear all that junkout so you can not only 10X the
results that you're getting, but you can start to enjoy the
process and put time and energyand focus on other parts of your

(26:15):
life that are going to bring itso much value and fulfillment,
because it's not just about10xing and achieving even though
this is great.
It's about enjoying the processand loving yourself through it.
