(04:03):
we're gonna go ahead we're gonna get through it and and we're gonna move accordingly
okay so like i said um in And in light of now, we're talking about Russia and the Ukraine conflict.
OK, it began in 2014 with Russia's annexation of Crimea and escalated significantly
in February of 2022 with Russia's full scale invasion of the Ukraine.
(04:23):
It continues to have a profound impact on global politics, economics and security strategies.
This ongoing war has not only reshaped Eastern European geopolitics,
but also re-energized across the globe, influencing energy markets,
(04:45):
international law, and the geopolitical dynamics of power.
Global politics and alliance.
The conflict has led to a significant realignment of international alliances
with NATO and European Union countries, responding by strengthening their support for Ukraine,
increasing military readiness and imposing extensive sanctions against Russia.
(05:09):
Those folks didn't even care.
This has underscored the strategic importance of regional security and the role
of international coalitions in maintaining a global stability and global stability.
Economically, the war has disrupted global supply chains, particularly in the
(05:30):
energy sector, given Russia's role as a major oil and gas supplier.
This disruption has led to increased prices worldwide and prompted European
nations to accelerate their transition to renewable energy sources and seek
alternative energy supplies.
Applies security strategies on the security front the conflict has promoted
(05:53):
a revolution of national and intern international security strategies with increased
speed and spendings on defense and more
robust plans for cyber security and information information warfare reflecting
the hybrid nature of modern conflicts the humanitarian impact of the conflict is is severe,
(06:16):
with thousands of lives lost,
millions displaced, and widespread destruction in urban areas.
The global community continues to provide humanitarian aid and support for refugees,
highlighting the ongoing human costs of the conflict.
So in this episode today, guys, we aim to dive into the ongoing Russia-Ukraine
(06:41):
conflict from a distinctly Christian viewpoint, exploring how faith shapes our
responses to a global crisis and human suffering.
The Christian faith that this deep teachings on peace,
justice and and since sensibility of human life provides a unique lens through
which we can examine and respond to the turmoil of devastation wrote by wrote by such conflicts.
(07:09):
Exploring faith in crisis. is christianity teaches
us to seek peace and justice echoing the
beatitudes where the peacemakers are blessed in
matthew 5 and 9 this episode will explore
how these principles guide us in responding to
geopolitical strife exemplified by
(07:30):
the russian ukraine war the conflict has
led to significant loss of life displacement of communities
and immense suffering for millions we will
discuss us how christian's teachings compel us to emphasize with support and
aid those affected the biblical call to mourn with those who will those who
(07:50):
mourn romans 12 and 15 and to serve the least of these matthew 25 and 40 are
central to our discussion.
Beyond prayer how can christians actively contribute
to to peace building and relief efforts
we will look at examples of how churches churches
(08:11):
and christian organizations are currently involved in humanitarian efforts
in and around the uk ukraine providing
not just prayers but practical support then
we're going to talk about the theological reflections the episode this episode will
also offer theological reflections on god's sovereignty
and the presence of evil within conflicts how
(08:31):
do we reconcile a loving god with a harsh realities of war such discussions
will aim to offer comfort and perspective during these troubling times through
this exploration the episode seeks not only to inform to inform you but to inspire
you as listeners to embody.
(08:51):
Your own faith to be
actionable to be compassionate in response
to a global crisis fostering a deeper understanding
and commitment to biblical principles and
to peace and justice okay
so the conflict between russia and ukraine is deeply rooted
in in historical cultural and political
(09:15):
complexities okay that date back centuries the relationship between the two
nations has been influenced by their shared history under the soviet union diverging
significantly after ukraine gained independence in 1991 soviet let's get in post-soviet tensions.
During the Soviet era, Ukraine was one of the most important republics after
(09:39):
Russia, both economically and strategically.
The collapse of the Soviet Union led to a significant shift in political,
economic and military alignments.
In the region, Ukraine's movement towards Western integration.
Including its aspiration to join NATO and the U.N.U.
Union has been a point of contention with russia which sees
(10:01):
ukraine's alignment with the west as the threat to
its sphere of influence the immediate
tensions escalated in 2014 following the euromadian protests
in ukraine which resulted in an
ousting of pro-russian president victor shortly
thereafter russia annexed crimea
(10:24):
and conflicts erupted in eastern ukraine particularly
in don boas region where pro.
Or pro-russian separatists declare
independence these events mark a significant inclination in
the conflict leading to severe internal sanctions against
russia and deepening the divide see i
(10:44):
didn't even know see 2014 when i graduated i didn't even know that's why
i say you be up on news and stuff when this
stuff was going down man this happened this stuff has been in the
works for what 10 years now nine years now
to finally come into a head when it
did so to even know that you know that's why
i say man the things that that be happening we
(11:05):
think they just be on the on on just on the on the
forefront like just happening but man this stuff
be stuff that be brewing right it'd be
brewing the culture and logistics and logistic logistic ties between the populations
of the two countries also play a role with a significant portion of ukraine's
population being russian speaking and having cultural ties to russia these factors
(11:30):
have been used by russia to justify its actions in the region claiming to.
Partake Russian speakers from Ukraine's nationalism.
As the latest updates, the conflict has intensified with significant military,
economic and humanitarian consequences.
(11:51):
The full-scale invasion by
Russia in February of 2022 marked a dramatic escalation in the conflict,
Leading to widespread international condemnation and the increase in military
aid to Ukraine from Western countries, the U.S.
Don't give people so much money y'all i'm talking about they
(12:12):
should be well aided how much money america don't
put down don't put down for them okay the
international community has responded with a range of measures from
economic sanctions against russia to military and humanitarian aid
to ukraine nato and european countries
have particularly been active in supporting ukraine
(12:32):
aiming to deter further russian aggression and
stabilizing the region the war has also
had a broader economic impact contributing to
global supply chain disruption particularly energy and
agricultural products given ukraine's role as as bread baskets of europe this
disruption has affected global markets increasing prices contributing to economic
(12:55):
uncertainty various Serious international efforts to negotiate ceasefires and
peace talks have been attempted.
Though with limited success, the situation remains dynamic with ongoing negotiations
and internal international diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict.
(13:15):
So listen, these people are trying to Russia is like, hey, look, I'm trying to join NATO.
I'm trying to have that. We don't want y'all allied with none of those folks across that water.
Right so they don't went on here and made this move you know that's really don't
start way back in 2014 but now it has escalated so much to the full-on invasion
(13:35):
you know in february of 2022.
Right when it's when we this is when we found out everything was going on okay
they are already essentially being in the thick of it so now we're going to
move into the biblical perspectives
on war and peace right and scripture's
insights for us to be you know how we should be moving into
(13:56):
dealing with you know how we as as
believers you know should be dealing with the
situation in addressing the complexities of the
russian and ukraine conflict two two scriptural
references stand out okay matthew 5
and 5 9 bless all the peacemakers for
they will be called children of god psalm started
(14:17):
from 14 turn from evil and do good seek
peace and pursue it these verses underscore the christian commitment to peace
and justice which particularly which was particularly relevant in the context
of the international conflicts so what does that mean when we talk to matthew
let's go in here matthew 5 matthew chapter 5 and 9 as a matter of fact we actually
want to run across the day to on the in the beatitude bless all the peacemakers for they
(14:39):
will be called children of God, right?
So our efforts to be peacemakers, right?
To always keep the peace. Why? Because when we are dealing with things that
are war-related, conflict-related, things get heated, right?
So, you know, when we are at the level of people's lives being taken,
(15:00):
this is when this stuff, you know, should be on the forefront of our minds, right? Always, right?
Always thinking about the people and and and and the God like reactions that
we should be having, y'all, is is the is is so important.
It's so important, even even even in smaller conflicts. Right.
(15:20):
So let's even get off the large conflicts. Right.
Even the conflicts that you have between you and your friends or you and your
spouse or you and your your your significant other. Right. Those are conflicts. Right.
Your goal in the sight of that, in the first encounter of that should always
be that of the peacemaker.
Right. Let me figure out. Right.
(15:41):
The solution. Let's get to a solution. Right. Once we've heard the person's
we've understood where the person coming from.
We've been in. We don't stood in this. We don't put ourselves in their shoes,
even if we've never been in issues.
We've put ourselves in their shoes. Right. We're understanding from their perspective
what they're coming from. Right. We've already had our side.
Right. Well, we're coming from. Right. And if that person is good enough to
put themselves in your shoes and see it from your side.
(16:03):
Now we have two people. Right. Two parties that that is that that is that is all knowing.
Right. We see we see it all. We understand it all. We get it.
Now we have to work together as one and two to come together to find a solution
to what we're dealing with. Right.
And if it's being a solution for both sides, we get a solution for both sides.
Guys, if we're strong enough to come together for one solution and one understanding, great.
(16:27):
Let's move with that, guys. Let's move with that. Then we have Psalms 34 and
14. Turn from evil and do good.
Seek peace and pursue it. Right?
So what are we really talking about when we say turn from evil, right?
That means if you are doing something intentional just because,
you know when you are doing evil work, man.
(16:48):
So essentially what Russia and Ukraine was happening over there is what Russia
is doing isn't evil, right? Right.
But they're doing it on the precepts that, you know, hey, Ukraine is ours.
They used to be a part of the Soviet Union. We pretty much going to take it
over on grounds of authority and power. That's just that's just your power.
And doing something for sure. Power is evil.
Right. If you just doing something to somebody because you have the power to
(17:09):
do it, knowing how it's going to affect them, how it might interact with their
day or whatever the case is, is is is your evil.
Okay no way no way the other other way to look at it that's just the truth of the matter okay,
that's just the truth of the matter your goal is is is to be different your
goal is to not be like that your goal is to always walk in the goodness in the goodness of god okay.
(17:36):
Matthew 5, 9, the Beatitudes of the Sermon on the Mount calls as calls on Christians
to be agents of peace in the context of war.
This can be interpreted as encouragement for believers to foster reconciliation
and to seek resolution that uphold the dignity and rights of all individuals involved.
(17:57):
Right. Psalm 34, 14. This verse is not only instructs believers to avoid evil,
but actively pursue peace.
It suggests that peace is not merely the absence of conflict,
but involves proactive efforts to create a harmonious and just environment.
OK, the role of the church in this situation. Christian communities globally
(18:18):
have varied in their responses to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict,
often reflecting the complex and diverse nature of the global church.
Humanitarian aid many christian organizations and
denominations have mobilized to provide aid to
those affected by the conflict this includes providing food
shelter and medical assistance to refugees and
(18:39):
displaced persons demonstrating the church's
commitment to care for the need as mandated by
christ real fast
let me stop next i know you know america has done so much for
um the ukraine and there's been uh you know stuff
said about you know as much money as we sent over there
you know if we could we could cure homelessness here in america and let why
(19:04):
why i you know why we don't have those kind of mindset that kind of mindset
for our own people is is is definitely a very strange thing but i can't tell
you this and this is my response this is my response,
to that and and that is that is this that is this if you want to change you
have to be the change right so if that's something that that that you aspire
(19:27):
to do that's something that you see that needs to be done you and the other
20 people that agree with you it's time for y'all to be the 20 people to run for senator.
OK, it's time for you, 20 people to get into government.
It's time for you to really put that thing and that thing into work and really believe in that thing.
Right. Because all of these causes that we fight for on a daily basis here inside
(19:48):
this political world, inside this stuff, it really be pushed. It really everything.
Everything be personal. Everybody has a personal cause that they get into politics
for. It's for the people, but it's a group of people.
So, like, for example, if if I went into politics, right, my fight would be
for the everyday truck driver.
Right my my policies would favor truck
(20:09):
drivers i'm just being up front and straight with you yep it's gonna
cover i'm gonna have everything that needs to be having for the
american people but you would see strong deregulation you
hear me strong deregulation now strong regulation i already
got strong regulation i'm talking about strong deregulation of a lot of these
laws that are heavy over top of a truck driver okay a lot of things would change
(20:30):
within the fmcsa a lot of a A lot of deregulation would happen within the EPA
that has forced so many of these restrictions on us as the trucking community.
That stuff would be bold on what runs America.
OK, that's what we we as a people, we've had things that we are passionate about.
Somebody else might be passionate about having schools, you know,
(20:55):
that people that that love education.
Listen i love the education too i love my children but
i love the fight for our children strong mentorship for
our children but you know we all have our
have our thing that would probably be number two on my list okay number two
but we all have something and of course you're
going to have something have something for you too especially if you are somebody
(21:15):
that that has the process to say
hey you know what i want change and i want to be
that change and i'm telling you you on this podcast on the crown table unleashed
if i get the fire started in you
you are able to do the change in a matter of
fact i prophesy to you right now that as
you begin to put one foot forward as you begin to seek god right
(21:36):
for your purpose as you become kingdom minded as you become holy ghost filled
as god becomes the center and the forefront of your life that every purpose
on the inside of you every goal on the inside of you god shall bring to the
forefront and lay before For you like that of a book And as you begin to take
into God As you begin to take into his word,
(21:56):
All the plans And the plans of his will That shall be laid before you As you
begin to ascend Into this political realm.
It shall take hold ears ears will
hear the words that you have to say ears will
hear and then they will respond with action i even decree and declare that even
as you begin to speak the lord begins to take over your tongue and it is that
(22:20):
of his word and his will that is coming forth for the american i even prophesy
over you as you begin to hear the word as you begin to speak the word as people
People begin to listen to you,
that you stay integral in every ounce and every space.
The enemy cannot and will not come against you to either scrape you off the
path or trick you off of your path in Jesus's mighty name.
(22:44):
OK, listen, I ain't playing on today.
I am serious about this thing on today. So let me get back into it.
Church leaders across different denominations have issued statements calling
for peace and urging governments to seek diplomatic solutions.
This statement often reflects the church's role in advocating for peace and
(23:04):
justice, drawing from scriptural teachings.
In some cases, churches have been involved in peace building initiatives,
including hosting dialogues between different parties and offering prayers for peace.
Such efforts highlight the proactive role the church can play in conflict resolution
inspired by biblical teachings.
(23:26):
Beyond physical aid, churches have also provided spiritual and psychological
support to those traumatized by the conflict.
This support is crucial in helping individuals cope with horrors of war and
loss, reflecting the church's role in healing and restoration.
In conclusion, the church's response to the Russian-Ukraine conflict,
(23:48):
guided by the scriptural calls for peace and justice, showcased the vital role
that faith can play in addressing global crises.
Through humanitarian aid, advocacy, and peacemaking efforts,
Christian communities demonstrate their commitment to the teaching of Christ,
even in the midst of turmoil and conflict.
(24:08):
Now, there's always this famous saying that people love to say is,
where's God in all this, right? This is happening. Where's God in all this?
Let me tell y'all something.
It's probably already in my writing, but let me tell you, I'm just going ahead
and say it. Let Let me let me just tell you something. God is God. Whoo.
God is God over the good and God is God over the bad as well.
OK, let me tell you this. We as human make choices. God gave us free will to do whatever.
(24:33):
When I say whatever we want, I mean, whatever you want.
God has given you the authority and the power to do it.
Your job is to make the right decisions, to choose him and everything.
Thing that's where we get things wrong so god
never intended for black folks to be enslaved for 300
years 400 years god never intended for the
(24:55):
holocaust god never intended for anything that's
disruptive and deadly god never intended for for the ukraine and the russian
and the russian war okay so much so much has happened when man when man when
man take hold of things We call things to happen and then we won't.
(25:18):
God to be reactive to it you know
doesn't god have the power to stop it you know god
has a set of a set of a set of morals i would say especially
when it comes to that free will thing that he has given you that he
will not break under no circumstances no circumstances
has has he ever broken broken that that will right that that thing to say that
(25:41):
okay so we're gonna deal with god's sovereignty and in turmoil okay sovereignty
god is all-powerful all-knowing omniscient okay,
omnipotent omniscience and it's
it's important guys it's it's important that we understand
god's sovereignty in this whole in this whole whole totality
(26:02):
we want and if you really want to know some biblical areas
of god's sovereignty we can talk about jacob and
esau all right no reason is in known
in the Bible why God would choose Jacob over Esau but
he did why did God have this hatred for Esau that's
just the sovereign way of God the sovereign way of way things however it works
(26:22):
out in the plays out as God has aligned it out because he knows everything that
happens it's just like yeah I know I know this is gonna happen so listen I'm
telling you what it is because I know what the end result is going to end up being okay,
So we listen. Let's get into it.
In times of conflict, like the ongoing Russian-Ukraine war, Christians often
(26:46):
grapple with the understanding of God's sovereignty, his supreme power and authority
over all creation, which assures us that nothing happens outside of his control and divine will.
This concept is pivotal in Christian theology and provides a foundation for
faith and trust in God, even in the most chaotic circumstances.
Circumstances believers of god's omnipresence
(27:08):
meaning he is present everywhere includes the
the midst of conflicts verses such as psalms
four to six and one god is our refuge and strength
in every present help in trouble remind christians
that god does not abandon his creation during times
of war but is actively involved
providing comfort and protection for those who seek
(27:30):
him so not just war but also in your personal life
god is always with you okay always present omnipresent
omni-sense all-knowing omnipotent all-power okay purpose and suffering while
the presence of suffering is suffering in war can challenge the understanding
of of a loving god loving loving and sovereign god christian theology asserts
(27:51):
that god can use even the direst circumstances for.
His people rumba 828 states and we
know that all in all things god works for the good
for those who love him who have been called according to
to his purpose this suggests that while
god does not cause suffering he can
use it to accomplish divine purposes including strengthening faith
(28:14):
building character and bringing about greater greater
good okay um reflecting on
faith amidst turmoil listeners are encouraged to reflect
on these theological insights and consider how their
own faith provides comfort and hope in times of global
instability how does believing in a
sovereign and loving God affect their response to
(28:35):
the news of war and suffering in what ways can
they find peace in God's promises during uncertain times
so when you have uncertain times in your life what
are ways for you to be able to hey say look let me
find peace in this man let me find peace in what i
feel like is is is coming down coming down
upon my life okay and what is actually
(28:57):
happening you know not just
not just in this greater part of this world with this war
and stuff but even in your own life in the war in your
own life the war in your own spiritual life right
the is is it is for you guys it's for you to be able to find and be able to
understand okay prayer is a fundamental response to any crisis in christian.
(29:19):
Practices viewed not only as as a duty but as a powerful means of intervening.
In worldly affairs philippines.
Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 and 7 urges believers not
to be anxious but in every situation be by
prayer and petition with thanksgiving to present of their request to god in
(29:42):
the context of war this involves praying for peace wisdom for leaders safety
for those affected and for god's will to be evident and fulfilled in the in
the resolution of the conflict practical actions for peace and While prayer is vital,
Christians' doctrine also calls for practical action.
James 2, verse 17 reminds believers
that faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
(30:08):
This can manifest as advocating for peaceful solutions, supporting humanitarian
aid efforts, and providing relief to those displaced or harmed by the conflict.
Humanitarian efforts. Many Christian groups and churches actively participate
in support relief efforts in conflict zones.
This includes providing food, medical aid and shelter, as well as supporting
(30:30):
refugees and displaced persons.
Engaging in these efforts is a practical application of Jesus' teaching to love
and to serve one's neighbors.
Advocacy. Christians are also called to be voices for peace and justice.
This involves lobbying for fair and peaceful politics, supporting diplomatic
efforts, and using one's voice to influence positive changes in internal affairs.
(30:55):
Listeners are encouraged to consider how they can balance prayer with practical actions.
What are the ways that can you contribute to peace and aid efforts in their
own communities or through global organizations?
Organizations how can they use their
resources time money abilities to take a to make
a supportive difference in the lives of those impacted by
(31:16):
the conflict okay listen guys
we we are on to something here but like i told you here with this uh ukrainian
war now we're gonna go into some some interviews um that we have for this thing
here actually i'm finna run put my pat put my I put my tablet on the charger so it don't die.
(31:38):
And I lose all my recording. I have to start this thing all over again. Okay.
Y'all probably not going to notice a difference. I'm going to try to cut that
thing. So good. So sweet. Y'all ain't even going to know. So I'm going to,
I'm going to, I'm going to pause after this.
Then I'm just going to come right back into it when it's time.
Y'all ain't going to know it.
And just like that, I'm back. See, look, let me see what I'm saying.
I'm right back where I left off on. Okay. So listen, let's get into these interviews.
(31:58):
Like I said, before I left, um, this interview is from Elena from Kaijiv.
Elena is a school teacher and mother of two shares
how nightly prayers become a refuge for
her family gathering in their basement during
air raids her faith provided not
only comfort but also a sense of community
(32:19):
and as local churches organize shelters and
daily bread distribution i could not imagine
that kind of atmosphere dimitri um
is from moscow dimitri a russian christian discusses the
inner conflict of opposing his government's actions
while trying to support friends suffering in ukraine
(32:40):
his church prayers of vigils for peace have
been a source of strength and unity in a
time of national division crazy now
here are some export opinions of theological and ethical perspectives
on conflict dr dr anna petrova
theologian specializing in christian ethics dr petrovna
(33:01):
discusses the theological implications of war
and the christian duty towards peacemaking she
emphasizes the importance of reconciliation and the
power of forgiveness and conflict resolution um reverend john thomas peace building
expert reverend thomas who has worked in several conflict zones shares insights
(33:21):
on practical application of christian
teaching Teaching in International Relations and Peace Negotiation.
He discusses successful church led initiatives that have mediated community
conflicts and fostered dialogue.
Call to action engage in
the informed prayer for peace and stability in all nations involved
(33:44):
specifically praying for wisdom for leaders and the
safety of civilians caught in the crossfire support
relief of efforts consider contributing to relief
efforts whether through donations volunteering or
spreading awareness many christians organizations are actively
involved in providing humanitarian aid and
need continuous closing continuous support
(34:07):
okay so it's
a it's a it's a whole lot guys that go into you know
that go into this as far as you know dealing with the humanitarian just dealing
with the the support and help of ukraine any way that you can guys through your
prayers small even uh you know just talking about it to get us through okay
(34:28):
so with With that being said, with that being said,
let's go ahead and move into our next segment, guys.
And you already know our next segment is deep dive devotion.
OK, it's time to get into our read on Matthew on today, guys.
Matthew chapter four is where we are starting out with Matthew chapter four.
(34:53):
It says, then Jesus was led upon the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted.
Tempted i think that's so strong that we don't really talk
about that much when it comes to the scripture it says that jesus was led by
the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted right then say the enemy took him
to the spirit he took him to the spirit it said the holy spirit right the spirit
led him into the wilderness to be tempted there was a it was a measure that god was doing.
(35:19):
Upon jesus's life all right so a lot of times in our
own lives we ran into this scripture culture we ran
into this place we love to give credit to the enemy without
realizing that sometimes it is god's doing in
his will for us to participate in these in these areas of life where we go to
get sharpened where we go to become greater and we'll be going to be to be to
(35:40):
be better off in him okay to be tempted by the devil after fasting 40 days and 40 nights he was hungry
the tempter came to him and
said if you are the son of god tell these stones to
become bread now here's the here's the thing he don't
already been fasting for 40 days and 40
(36:01):
nights okay he don't already been doing this
thing for 40 days and 40 nights it's important that
we also look at this in this first part of the scriptures that
the tempter didn't come until he had already been
enduring right so a lot
of times we think you know we're gonna go into a season and and and the devil
just gonna come right in and try to get us or they're gonna send the adversary
and the enemy the demons or whatever to come right in on us to try to do something
(36:24):
but it's after we don't already be in something does he come at the end to try
to get us right at the end to come up off that come off that horse right to get us to fall.
In the end okay so that he is that he
is saying acts of him if you are the son of god tell these
stones to become bread this description
is also important because how many times do we face situations in life where
(36:47):
we say what we say to ourselves or we say something or somebody might say to
us it's it's a real famous thing people say if you're so great do it you know
i'm saying like that's the same thing this this is the same thing or somebody
might say if you if you you You think you, you know,
how we might say something like, how we might say like,
(37:08):
oh, you think you so, so this and that.
If you so this and that, if you, if you so much so what you say you are,
then go in and be about it.
Right. Or go and do something. That's really pretty much the same thing that Satan is saying here.
He said, hey, look, you say you the son of God, you know, son of God.
Then tell these bread, tell these stones to turn into bread.
(37:28):
You know what I'm saying? You so about it. Right. That's pretty much what he's
saying. Right. So Jesus answered, Jesus answered.
It is written, man shall not live on bread alone by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
So here we are. Right. So be in this place. God is saying, hey,
look, it ain't about the food.
All right. And even even and even so, you know, it's not just food by itself. Right.
(37:53):
Your spirit man on the inside of you has to feed, too.
And how does your spirit man on the inside of you feed your spirit
man on that's on the inside of you right now feeds through the
word of god so every time you hear scripture read scriptures you
are to eat scriptures right so to get
to a place where we are saying we are saying father
as i read your word allow your word
(38:15):
to be that of food unto my spirit and i'm telling you guys watch that hunger
watch that hunger that's on the inside of you become fed i'm not talking about
of that physical hunger I'm talking about spiritual hunger if so supernaturally
so if God's deemed it so fit it'll also increase.
Come in place for that natural hunger as well
(38:39):
god will literally feed you through the
spirit realm okay so here we are okay so
jesus says you know it's not good for man to live on bread alone what by
every word of god okay then the devil took him to the
holy city and had him stand on the highest point
of the temple if you are the son of god
he said throw yourself down for it is written
(39:00):
he will command his angels concerning you and
they will lift you up in in their hands so that
so that you will not strike your foot against a
stone so here here here satan
is tempting jesus to say hey you say hey man
jump off and you know the lord said he gonna
send his angels concerning you to come and come and save you
(39:22):
so here we have satan at this point saying you know what
go ahead and commit suicide jesus go ahead hit this
test this theory that that that
your father has said unto you going off
the side he told you that your foot not
gonna touch a stone on the way down give it
a shot and see what see what you got right so so
(39:44):
the devil is really the devil is really up here.
Really giving jesus the run for uh giving jesus the
run you hear me so jesus asked him it is also
written do not put the lord your god to the test
ah we are not to test the lord thy
god right so we are not to do things this
thing is so full these first man these first
(40:05):
few verses on red band is so full we are not
to test the lord thy god we are not to say out of
our mouths you know what i'm gonna try this and see what god do wow
wow wow how many
let's do that on a daily basis i'm gonna
do this and i'm gonna see what god be about i'm gonna
try god and see if he gonna come to my rescue when
(40:26):
i go i can't do this you don't sin you don't sin and you need to repent right
now and that's god for some forgiveness because you don't did something wrong
you don't did something wrong time to get it right go back and get that thing okay then jesus.
Said to him always wait okay i
(40:47):
ain't got that why yes i'm jumping ahead
right so the first seven verses so full guys says jesus answered it is
also written do not put the lord thy god to the test right again the
devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him
all the kingdoms of the world and the
splendor all this i will give you
he said if you will bow down and worship me now this is when Jesus don't have
(41:12):
enough of this nonsense he said Jesus said away from me Satan for it is written
you worship the Lord your God and serve him only God Jesus was fed up.
He don't have all the tempting that he was gonna take for that day he don't
had it he don't had it had it had it with Satan,
(41:34):
he don't send satan away and told him off
okay told him told him straight up off it
says then the devil left him and angels came and attended to him so after he.
Don't be in his brothers before the day tested by the devil here come these
angels these angels are about to attend to jesus some scriptural translations
(41:54):
say they minister to jesus i do like the way that it's presented This is the NIV.
It says attended to, attended to is still good.
But to minister, we know that when we are ministered to, you know,
we, you know, somebody is talking to us. They are encouraging us.
So just to know in that moment, God had angels come down to Jesus and just to tell him.
(42:17):
I don't know what they actually said, but I'm just thinking if it was if it
was me calling to a friend after they don't been through hard times and just
saying, you know, you know, reassuring them, you know, that.
That hey look the father loves you in spite of what you don't been through in
spite of what what you were going through god still loves you he don't brush
you out on the other side as a matter of fact he brought you out so good it
(42:40):
don't even look like you had even been through anything,
and i want to let you know i want to let you know big hugs big strong hugs okay
you know just to know you know hey look you need anything is everything you
need do you want anything.
Say anything is any way that i could be of service to
you in this coming out of of this wilderness place that you have been in are
(43:02):
you hungry any shelter that i can provide to you i want to let you know that
while you were away out hey look i made sure everything was good while you was
away you ain't had to worry about nothing you know so just to know that that
kind of feeling that kind of feeling was going on okay.
Verse 12 says, when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison,
(43:23):
he withdrew to Galilee, leaving Nazareth.
He went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun
and Naphtali to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah.
Isaiah land of Zebulon and land of Numptala, the way of the sea beyond the Jordan, Jordan,
(43:47):
Galilee of the Gentiles, the people living in darkness have seen a great light
on those living in the, in the land of the shadow of death.
A light has dawned from the time, the time on Jesus began to preach,
repent for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
(44:07):
Repent. And this is, this is so, this is so important. repent
for the kingdom of heaven has come near
repent here we go repent but the
kingdom of heaven has come near i said repent
for the kingdom of heaven has come near
repent for the kingdom of heaven has
come near what was jesus walking around through the
(44:30):
streets telling folks to repent because the
kingdom of heaven has come near y'all it's
about getting it right it's about getting it right we
be talking about you know we had these gospels to go and preach we
go and preach the good news you know we'll tell them to preach the good
news the what jesus was preaching was repent for the
kingdom of heaven has come near so repent you know we are to turn away from
(44:53):
these things of this world and turn to god and fill our hearts with that of
god okay as jesus verse 18 as jesus was walking beside the sea of galilee he
saw two brothers simon called peter and his brother Brother Andrew,
they were casting a net into the lake for they were fishermen.
They were entrepreneurs, y'all.
(45:14):
This is another topic for another day. But I'm telling you, you're out here
doing ministry. We got a nine to five. Cool.
But entrepreneurship, man, that's where it's at. They're business owners.
They weren't just no in the body.
They were fishermen. OK, come follow me, Jesus said. And I will send you out to fish for people.
At once they left their nets and followed him.
(45:37):
Going from there, he saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zabadi, and his brother John.
They were in a boat with their father, Zabadi, preparing their nets.
Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
Jesus heals the sick. Jesus went throughout Galilee teaching in their city.
(46:04):
Synagogues proclaiming the good news of the
kingdom and healing every disease and sickness
among the people news about him
news about him spread all over syria and people
people brought to him all who were he
would heal with various diseases those suffering severe
pain severe pain the demon possessed
(46:25):
those having seizures and the paralyzed
and he healed them large crowds from
galilee and the coppolis jerusalem judea
and the regional cross of jordan followed him so
jesus is gaining his followers y'all he
doing his business he getting about his business okay so
(46:46):
let's move on to matthew 5 introduction to the
sermon on the mount the sermon on the mount so great i'm getting to the beatitudes
okay the beatitudes okay now when
jesus saw the crowds he went up on the mountain to side and sat down
his disciples came to him and he began to
teach them here it is y'all here it
is and here's why it's so important blessed are the poor
(47:06):
in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven blessed are
those who mourn for they will be comforted blessed are the meek for they will
inherit the earth blessed are those who hunger and thirst for for righteousness
for they will be filled blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy
blessed are the pure in heart for For they will see God and bless of the peacemakers.
(47:28):
For they will be called children of God and bless of those who are who are persecuted
because of righteousness.
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. OK, blessed are you when when people insult
you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in heaven.
(47:50):
For in the same way they persecuted
the prophets who were before the attitudes are great y'all so let's go to the
salt and the light you are the salt of the of the earth but if the salt loses
its saltiness how can it be made salty again is it no longer good for anything
except to be thrown out and trump and trampled underfoot.
(48:14):
So what is happening when we talk about the salt, right? When you're losing
your salt, right? You got to be earthly good, y'all. You got to be earthly good.
Okay. You are the light of this world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.
(48:35):
Instead, they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way let your light shine before others
that they may see your good deeds and
glorify your father in heaven i think that's so important because
we missed that last part where it say see your good deeds and
glorify glorify your god in heaven here
(48:56):
it is i'm finna debunk i'm finna talk about this day for some of
y'all people that are that love to talk about
why you always recording feeding the homeless
why are you recording giving money away why are
you recording and giving back and helping others i come
for that right here i come for that right here that they
(49:16):
may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven
i'm doing for the glorification glorification of my god
right and so the intent in the heart is
what is is what matters right when people see what
you are doing can we say god
is good god is amazing god is is is alpha and an omega can we say when you say
(49:39):
i'm giving this thing away somebody watches your video they say glory be to
god for this man or this woman doing what they are doing for this community that's why.
It is seen so even in people on your street if it's not being recorded for social
media or whatever the case may be if it's being seen even by people that are
out on the street street by you that see you.
(50:02):
They gots to glorify the lord when they see that kind of act now some people
might not some people whatever the case may be but that is the whole intent
in your heart when you are doing things on public display we're talking about
being the light of this world you got to light this thing up because this world
is dark and you don't light it up if you're trying to hide under a bowl.
It ain't you it ain't gonna be seen you got to light
(50:24):
this thing up the fulfillment of the law do not think that
i have come to abolish the law so important right now when we talk about this
y'all we really talking about them 10 commandments right jesus is letting us
let's let you know okay he says do not think that i have come to abolish the
law or the prophets or the prophets i have not come to abolish them but to fulfill
them for truly i tell you until heaven and earth disappear,
(50:47):
not the smallest letter not the the least
stroke of a pen will by any means
disappear from the law until everything is as
accomplished therefore anyone who sets aside
one of the least of these commands and teaches
others accordingly will be called least at
least in the kingdom of heaven but whoever practices and
(51:08):
teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of
heaven for i tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses
that of the pharisees and the teachers of the law you
will certainly not enter into the kingdom of heaven
and here we go jesus talking about murder you have
heard that it was said to the people long ago you shall
not murder and anyone who murders will be subject to
(51:30):
judgment but i tell you that anyone who who is who is angry with a brother or
sister will be subject to judgment again anyone who says to a brother or sister
raka is answerable to the court and anyone who says you fool will be in danger
of the fire of Therefore.
If you are offering your gifts at the altar and they're.
(51:54):
And there remember that your brother or sister has
something against you leave your gift there in front
of the altar first go and be reconciled to
them then come and offer your gift settle matters
quickly with your adversary who is taking you
to court do it while you are still together on
the way or your adversary may may hand
(52:15):
you over to the judge and the judge may hand you
over to to the officer and you may be thrown into
prison truly i tell you you will not get
out until you have paid the last penalty
it's about being right guys with
each other okay at the end of the day being at
peace with each other at the end of the day okay adultery
(52:37):
you have heard that it was said you and
you shall not commit adultery but i
tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has
already committed adultery with her in his
heart everything is about the heart guys it's a
that we think about our mindset our thoughts
of what's happening even inside of the heart okay if
(52:58):
you are if your right eye causes you to
stumble god gouge it out
and throw it and throw it away it is better for you
to lose one part of your body then for your whole
body to be thrown into him and if your right hand
causes you to stumble cut it off and throw it away
it is better for you to lose one part of your.
Body than for your whole body to go into
(53:21):
hell so no you know the bible is really letting you know how serious this thing
is right so if you got a problem with your tongue if your tongue is a lying
tongue right is you saying cut it out jeffy is that what you say i should cut
out my tongue is that what you saying look here you extremist i'm not saying you should.
Cut out your tongue but your tongue should be cut out within the spirit of
(53:42):
subjection right so but that's what i'm saying so
what i'm saying if you got a lying tongue your ability to repent
and go to god and say god remove that of
my tongue god cut it out father in the
name of jesus okay to remove that lying tongue
and god would do that thing in the spirit okay and that
thing gonna manifest within the natural because whatever god doing in
(54:02):
heaven gonna manifest on this earth you ain't heard you
heard all right so here it is when the divorce okay it
has been said anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate
of divorce but i tell you that anyone who divorces his
wife except for sexual immortality that's cheating
um makes her the victim of adultery
and anyone who marries a married a divorced woman commits adultery so what is
(54:27):
he saying they said if a man is with a woman and he so side to divorce her and
she has not committed adultery he is going to cause her to commit adultery because
eventually she's going to want to what go and get married again.
So much authority in in that of
the man's office the office of a husband and a father
(54:47):
it's definitely not something that you should be taking lightly at
all oaths again you have heard that it
was said to the people long ago do not break your
oath but fulfill fulfill to the lord
the vows you have made but i tell you
do not do not swear on oath at all either
by heaven for it is God's throne or by
(55:09):
earth for it is it is his footstool or by
Jerusalem for it is the city of the great king and do
not swell by your head for you cannot make even
one hair white or black all you need
need to say is simply yes or no
anything beyond this comes from the
evil one tell you about the words eye for
(55:31):
an eye you have heard that it was said eye for
an eye and tooth for tooth but i tell you
do not resist do not resist an evil person
if anyone slaps you on the right cheek turn
to them the uh other cheek also and
if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt hand
over your coat as well if anyone forces you to
(55:53):
go one mile go go with them
two miles give to the one who
asks you and do not turn away from the one who
wants to borrow far from you okay that
one right there guys is a scrum because a lot of us about to
have a hard time with that one so i'm turning that other.
Cheek giving up that coat well it's.
(56:14):
That shirt it's hard man to think
you know that is the kind of.
The god that we serve when we think about
it man yo the the theme to really
want to be right and do right is something it's no.
Easy foot it's no easy foot thing man it's not easy at
all and people sometimes people try to portray that it's easy I'm not one of
(56:36):
those man I know it's tough I know that it's hard and it's going to take for
you to work at it constantly constantly constantly to actually be able to make
that change right to to see that change take place but I'm here to tell you
this you can do it you can do it.
We in chapter chapter six, guys, chapter six, verse one that says,
(56:57):
be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them.
If you do, you will have no reward from your father in heaven. So here it is again.
It's about your posture and your heart. When you're doing something,
you know, if you're doing something for man to see, if you want just people
to see, if you want to be recognized, you know what you know exactly what you're doing.
Him so when you give to the needy do.
(57:18):
Not announce it with trumpets as the hypocrites do.
It in the synagogues and on the
streets to be honored by others truly i
tell you here this game just told you truly i tell you they have
received their reward in full but when you give to
the needy do not let your left hand know what your
right hand is doing so that your giving may
(57:39):
be in secret then your father who sees
that it is done in secret will reward you so jeffy
what am i talking about because it almost sounds like a contradicting right
because in the in the other verse you say to be the light of the world see
a good deed so that people may praise you but it's
not guys you know why it's not you know why it's not it's not
because it's all about your heart posture heart posture is
(58:00):
so is so important man it is
the biggest thing what are you doing it
for why are you doing it you know
exactly why on the inside of you why are
you doing it you know if you're doing it for people to get you
forget it over here on earth you know exactly what
you are doing your heart posture is so important and
(58:21):
it's the biggest thing guys your heart posture where's your heart
pointed to is it pointed to god or is it pointed
to man okay and you know it
and when you pray he's talking about prayer and when you
pray do not be like the hypocrites for they only
pray standing in the synagogues and on the street
corners to be seen by others truly i tell you that you have
(58:41):
received the reward in full but when you pray go
into your room close the door and pray to your father who is unseen then your.
Father who sees that is sees what is done in secret will reward you and when
you pray do not keep on babbling like pap like pagans for for they They think
they will be heard because there are many words.
(59:02):
Do not be like them for their father knows what what you need before you ask him.
Then this then is how you should pray our father in heaven. Hallowed be your
name. Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our debts as we forgive as we have forgiven our debtors and lead
(59:24):
us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others
their sins your father will
not forgive your sin so y'all it's
important that we should be able to forgive it's gonna be a crazy thing um
(59:46):
it's gonna happen to some people to miss heaven because
you couldn't forgive the easiest thing for us to be able
to do is to forgive and to bust
hell wide open um for that it's crazy because there's
a whole lot of other stuff you could have did to bust hell wide open for so to
bust it open for to bust it open before not being able
to forgive but something something something something
(01:00:06):
okay fasting when you fast do not look somber
do not look somber as the hypocrites do for they
disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting truly i tell you they
have received their reward in full so see god is telling you if you're doing
stuff for people on this earth you're getting your reward all the praises you
get boy you did that yeah man here go a hundred dollar man go two hundred dollar
(01:00:29):
man you You did that, man. You're amazing.
You're awesome. You're great. You're getting your reward already.
He's telling you. You're receiving it already.
But when you fast, put on oil on your head and wash your face so that it will
not be obvious to others that you are fasting.
But only to your father who is unseen and your father who sees what is done
(01:00:49):
in secret will reward you.
Okay? He will reward you. Treasures in heaven.
Do not store up yourselves treasures on earth. where moths and vermin destroy
and where thieves break break in as break in and steal,
Where the thieves break in and steal. But store up yourselves treasures in heaven.
Where moths and vermin do not destroy.
(01:01:11):
Where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is.
There your heart will be also. Stir them up. The arm of God.
Stir it up. The fruits of the spirit. Stir them up in heaven.
Those are the things that matter in this world.
The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy. Your whole body will be full of light.
(01:01:33):
But if your eyes are unhealthy. your whole body will be full of.
Darkness if then the light within you is darkness how.
Great is that darkness listen no
one can serve two masters either you will hate one and
love the other or you will be devoted to the one and
despise the other you cannot serve both god and
money hello you can't do it both you're gonna
(01:01:55):
be chasing after that money god ain't gonna be on your mind and that
is that is the truth you hear me do not
do not worry is the title of this one of verse
25 but they all have titles i ain't been saying times but
they all got times i just said that one okay therefore i tell you do
not worry about your life what you will eat or drink
or about your body what you will wear is not life
(01:02:16):
is not life more than food and the
body more than clothes look at the birds of the air they do
not sow or reap or store away in barns
and yet your heavenly father feeds them are you
not much more valuable than they can can anyone
of you be by worrying add a single hour
to your life this is this is where i live in on my day-to-day life you
(01:02:37):
know i'm going to get what i can get what i can get it
people be saying i'm saving up for this i'm saving up
for that i'm saving up for this house and this car and this deck
so i can party in the future don't even know if you're gonna be able to party
in the future but you're saving up for it you got to live in to now man you
know 401k retirement that kind of stuff is different but all that other stuff
guys that we hit that we have to get that's the material stuff that we getting
(01:02:59):
you got to get it while you're going alone but hey that's just my thought my
process you know everybody's different.
Verse 28 says, and why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers in the
field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like the
one that like one of these.
If that is how God closed the grass of the field, which is which is here today
(01:03:23):
and tomorrow is thrown into the fire.
Will he not much more clothe you?
You of little faith. so do not do not worry
saying what shall we eat or shall what
shall we drink or what shall we wear for the pagans run
after these things and your heavenly father knows
that you need you need them but seek
(01:03:44):
first seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and
all these things will be given given them to you as well
therefore do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow
will worry about itself each day has enough trouble
of its own guys listen god
is telling you man do not worry about this stuff do

(01:10:44):
Father, kingdom children, oh, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh, God.
Parents, pray for your children. Parents, pray for your children.
Pray for your children every day and every night, so that way angels can be encamped around them.
That Holy Ghost fire can be encamped around them.
(01:11:04):
In the mighty name of Jesus, oh God, it's your responsibility to cover your
children, not just in this physical world, but also in the spiritual world.
For your children are under attack. Your children are under attack.
Your children are the priority. If the devil had a budget, if the devil had
money, the budget would be against the children.
If you can't see it, I need you to start paying attention to what they're watching on TV.
(01:11:31):
Start paying attention to what the government is doing. Start paying attention
to what is happening in this world when it comes to our children.
I'm telling you right now that 50% of the devil's budget is placed on the children.
Look at the entertainment, look at the music, look at what's happening,
look at what's before the act.
(01:11:51):
This was before the ear gates. I come to tell you for today with a harsh warning
to be aware of what is happening. Do not sleep.
This is just like when God said to put lamb's blood across the door so that
the death angel will pass over you. This is the same thing.
Pray for your children. Pray the blood of Jesus.
(01:12:13):
Pray over their life. Pray over their situation. so that that way,
when the enemy tries to go hunting him, when the enemy goes hunting him,
when the enemy goes watching him, he asks God in the mighty name of Jesus,
hallelujah, Father, that they will be able, will not be able to hurt your children.
They will not be able to attack your children.
(01:12:33):
I even hear the Lord saying, this is the direction that he wants you to go.
Get ready for operation.
Get ready to go. Get ready to scribe. This is your warning.
This is your last warning. Get ready.
Hallelujah.
Father God. God says, in the mighty name of Jesus, I hear the Lord saying that
(01:12:57):
there is something brewing on the inside of this new generation.
God says, I am placing the ability to have purpose, the ability to be creative
on the inside of your children.
Hallelujah, Father God. My God says, it has not passed over you yet, but the day is coming.
I have a work to do, says the Lord, and it's not going to stop with you.
(01:13:22):
It's going to come into your children. They better be getting ready.
You better be getting them ready. They better not be lost.
God says, I really don't have the time. I really don't have the time to sit
and teach and record and try to get your children ready.
I've given you a job to raise up your child in the way that they should go so
(01:13:44):
that when they go, they will not depart.
Heart so with that being said do your job
do what you're supposed to do as a mother
do what you're supposed to do as a father
and prepare your kingdom prepare your children for my kingdom for my kingdom
shall prevail over that of darkness my kingdom will reign over that of darkness
(01:14:06):
my kingdom will reign over that that which may not have light my kingdom will
reign over every demonic kingdom,
my kingdom will bring down demonic walls,
my kingdom will bring down demonic mindsets, my kingdom will bring down,
oh God, hallelujah, Father, my kingdom will bring down demonic blueprints,
my kingdom will bring down, hallelujah, Father God, every principality of power,
(01:14:30):
the things they have control,
God says I'm coming, God says I'm here, God says I'm here, God says I'm here,
God says I'm here, hear the chariots, hear the winds, God says I'm here,
God says I'm here, and my kingdom shall prevail. My kingdom shall prevail.
God says, get right. God says, no longer shall you claim to be stumbling.
(01:14:51):
No longer, how long must you pray unto me? How long must you pray unto me and pray unto me?
