Our first segment, "In the Light of Now," dives into pressing current events with a spiritual perspective. In this episode, we explore the profound impact of social media on adolescent mental health. We discuss recent studies and legislative actions aimed at curbing the negative effects of social media usage. We also delve into the psychological and social ramifications of excessive social media use, particularly among teens, and offer spiritual and community-based responses to these challenges.

Next, we move into "Deep Dive Devotion," where we unpack pieces of scripture to explore their ancient wisdom and modern relevance. In this episode, we begin with the first three chapters of the Gospel of Matthew. We explore the genealogy of Jesus, the birth of Jesus Christ, and the ministry of John the Baptist. Key themes such as the fulfillment of prophecy, the significance of Jesus' baptism, and the manifestation of the Trinity are highlighted.

Following our deep dive into scripture, we introduce a new segment called "Heavenly Harmonies." Each week, we'll delve into the heart of gospel music, celebrating and critiquing the latest and greatest gospel tunes. We introduce our special rating system, the Crown Scale, which evaluates songs based on divine inspiration, musical excellence, lyrical depth, and originality. In this episode, we review "God is Bigger" by Holy Drill, "Yeshua" by Holy Drill, and "The Breath of God" by Renita Graber.

We then transition into "Heavenly Conversations," our moment to connect directly with God through prayer. We reflect on the themes of today's episode and bring forth prayers for those in need in our communities and our own hearts. This segment is designed to nurture your soul and strengthen your spiritual connection.

Lastly, we introduce an exciting new feature for our listeners – the "Divine Gems Hunt." This interactive giveaway offers you a chance to win $350 by collecting divine scripture gems revealed in each episode. Stay tuned for the first gem and instructions on how to participate.

devotion i'm excited about our new segment heavenly conversations
okay for us to
pray i'm excited about um heavenly harmonies for
us to break down uh what we're going to be doing now as we get started into
to heavenly harmonies you know what i'm going to save the grading scale till

(07:15):
we get to that part and we'll go into the grading scale to to to to begin to
break it down what we got going on with with our grading scales.
Okay, for the heavenly harmonies part, I'm excited, listen, y'all, I'm excited about that,
you know, I'm excited, listen, I'm excited about the word too,
but I'm excited about that, what we have coming up, okay, so right now,

(07:37):
guys, in our current event, guys, I want to talk about, on the crown table on this today,
the ongoing debate about social media influences on our mental health, okay,
especially when it comes to our young people, This issue is particularly relevant
due to our recent studies and legislative actions aimed at curbing the negative

(07:59):
effects of social media usage. OK.
So we're going to dive into these things, OK, and really get to really get into it right here.
OK, so so the recent studies and expert advisors have increasingly highlighted
the profound impact of social media can have on adolescent mental mental health.

(08:22):
Research underscores a complex relationship between social media usage and increased
risk of depression, anxiety and decreased self-esteem amongst teens.
These findings are significant as nearly every teen today is active on social
media, using these platforms for connection,

(08:42):
expression, and information gathering, which inevitably becomes a significant
part of their social and emotional development.
Key findings suggest that prolonged use of social media can lead to addiction-like
symptoms due to the dopamine release triggered by interaction of these platforms.
This continuous engagement can erode the ability to manage waiting or distress

(09:07):
because instant gratification becomes a norm.
Additionally, the social media environment characterized by cultured and edited
content can set unrealistic standards for body image and success,
which are particularly challenging for young users.
The Surgeon General of the United States has issued an advisory calling for

(09:30):
comprehensive strategies to mitigate these risks.
These include encouraging families to establish tech-free zones,
promoting awareness about the negative impacts of excessive social media use,
and pushing for research to guide effective interventions.
Medical professionals across the various organizations have also expressed concern,

(09:55):
recommending that both proactive measures and educational efforts be enhanced
to safeguard young people's mental health.
This emerging evidence presents a crucial discussion point for us here on today, guys.
About our young people guys we have to save our young
our young people's minds we got to get them off these tablets we love

(10:17):
to throw our children on these tablets uh this would
be that part where i would say i am guilty too but that would be a
lie i am not guilty of that or i
could care less whether or not journey has a tablet or wants
a tablet um as a matter of fact she has no
tablet in this house i'd rather her
go find something to do play with her toys get over

(10:37):
some some problems as far as like figuring out how to uh
to maneuver around certain aspects within our
household and and learn some skills yeah y'all
because i'm just i'm just saying man i know what that tablet can do
now she has had it before just personal transparency she
has had it before and i mean that girl one time we took it
from her and she showed out and i said it'd be her last time showing

(10:59):
out and uh she would not be freaking out over
the tablet even down to what she watch on tv or that
that coco melon we don't let her watch coco melon pepper pig none of
that or none of that kind of stuff now i'm not saying that some of
these other shows that's that i own here are better but
i am saying that you know we do make a conscious effort to mitigate what is

(11:19):
going through her eye gate right we talk about them gates a lot don't we the
eye gate and the ear gate okay so so the psychological and the social ramifications
all right or what's happening when our children get.
Too much of this um tablet of social media
for our teenagers or even us some
even some of us adults okay so increased anxiety and

(11:42):
depressions right studies consistently show
a correlation between heavy social media use and
increased levels of anxiety and depression among adolescents
this can be um attributed to cyber bullying
social comparison and the pressure
to maintain entertain and idolize online persona okay
because you know how you know how we love to say they one way on facebook but

(12:04):
in real life they're a whole they're a whole nother right because they
have literally created this this alter ego this this
person to portray to people you know
for likes and clicks of course right impaired social
skills uh excessive use of social media may impair
face to face communication skills and deepen
feelings for social um isolation despite the superficial

(12:25):
beneficial um connect connectivity online okay so
when we talking about well what are we saying when we're talking about um
the connection between social face-to-face interaction you know some of us what
they call them twitter fangirls like even when you know to the negative twitter
fangirls you know when people are beefing you know they got a whole lot to say
behind a computer but nothing to say in your face when you see them even with

(12:47):
data even even having something more.
Not on so much of the aggressive side. Right. Even when we are more confident
online to speak our minds, but not really too much to say because we're because
we are behind the screen.
More more more able to speak our mind than speaking in person to whom we know
we should be speaking to. Right.

(13:08):
So the spiritual responses to that is promoting digital temperance.
OK, encouraging young individuals to practice digital temperance can be supported
by spiritual teachings that emphasize modern and self-control.
Spiritual leaders can guide youth into understanding the value of balancing
their life online and offline, reflecting principles found in many of our texts.

(13:32):
All right. Especially in the Bible.
OK. OK. We'll be talking about God. it's one of the fruits of the spirit is
what self-control the ability to control yourself.
You know not just against sin or temptation but
even against you and the stuff that you like to go and click on on facebook
right so that means taking time away right are you putting this facebook and

(13:54):
the social media before god are you on tiktok before god are you on instagram
and facebook before god twitch you know youtube whatever whatever your thing
is you know are Are you have you made that thing your new God?
All right. So it's about self-reflection, guys. It's about bringing that thing
into moderation, taking breaks, not being on it at a certain time of day.
You know, really, really taking that time and pinpointing that time for that.

(14:18):
As a matter of fact, if you go in your phone and go to settings and time,
you can actually see where you are spending most of your time on your phone
and see how much of that is on Facebook.
Book how much of that of that is on tiktok how much
of that is on whatever app that you're using okay
and really start to work on you know
bringing that number down right so

(14:39):
here we go the mindfulness and and reflection on this is
spiritual practices like prayer and meditation
on the word of god and can help our
analytics develop greater sense of inner peace and resilience
against the pressures of social media this practice encourages
a moment a moment a moment to moment awareness
and a focus on personal growth rather than

(15:01):
external validation okay so we're not worried about what people think right
we're just worried about what Yahweh thinks of us okay what the great I am the
Lord of Lords Alpha and Omega El Roy Elohim Jehovah Jireh oh God we are worried
about that those things, okay.
We are worried about what God feels and how he feels about us.

(15:23):
Is he pleased with our actions and what we do?
OK, and then we also have some community based responses. OK,
so for the church, for churches and community centers, they can create supportive
environments where adolescents can discuss their experiences with social media
in a safe and nonjudgmental setting.
These discussions can be facilitated by counselors

(15:45):
or youth leaders trained in both pastoral care
and psychological fundamentals okay so
it's about getting it out guys those days of telling the
child that they don't have a voice or or acting
like they can't speak about something is really coming to
things of the past right your child does have a voice your child
does have feelings and emotions and those feelings and emotions need to be expressed

(16:09):
right they need to be heard those feelings and emotions need to be validated
some of you are having a hard time validating your partner's feelings and emotions
so surely you don't know how to validate your child's emotions.
Going shots y'all but i'm just telling y'all you
know that's something that you need to work on if you are having a problem

(16:31):
understanding what someone is coming from whether it
be an adult or a child it is an issue now
children are given rope and a little leeway because
you are the adult so of course you what you say should be
in hindsight right you should be able to see
and direct accordingly and to bring back into alignment that emotion or that

(16:51):
thought right i'm talking about some advanced stuff i'm really talking about
skill and people skills i'm you know i'm really diving into something that i
probably should have took the time to explain before i even
read into this episode because some of us don't even have the capability to even do that.
But one thing about it, having a listening ear is important because the enemy

(17:16):
will use that. That is a fox, right?
The enemy will use to come in, to burrow into your family and cause that separation.
If they cannot talk to you, they will find somebody that will talk to them, that will hear them.
Them and it will be the ear of a
demonic presence on that's residing on the person or inside of a person and

(17:38):
once that presence has its ear you know it's going to do what it has been sent
to them to do you know that's how a lot of our children end up hurt or taken or kidnapped or.
Or molested and things of that nature simply because
somebody is listening to them so I encourage you
as a parent a mother especially a father to

(17:59):
learn to listen to your children and what
they have to say what's on their mind get an understanding a crucial understanding
of where they are coming from and then when I say bring that alignment back
into focus what I'm I'm saying is sometimes your child's thought process may
be haywired to left field,

(18:21):
but you must have the ability to be able to bring that ball from a home run
to inside the park, right?
And you as a parent be able to catch that thing and get out,
send that child back to the dugout, okay?
I hope my analogy got over. I just wanted to use that. Y'all know I'm a picture person.
I got to use all kinds of analogies and stuff. But what I'm trying to get at

(18:43):
and what I'm what I'm saying is your ability to be able to to to to bring their
thoughts into realize to know that, listen, I have the hindsight.
This is how this is. This is how this should be. And this is why I want you
to put that energy as a child.
OK, not getting lost in those emotions in those in what people are saying about
them and things of that nature.

(19:05):
OK, so educational workshops, guys, is something else that we can do. Right.
So organizing workshops that educate both parents and teens about the effects
of social media and strategies for safe use can empower families to set healthy boundaries.
These workshops can include training on recognizing signs of mental distress,
enhancing digital literacy and fostering open communication within the family.

(19:29):
Community service opportunities. Engaging young people in community service
can provide them with a sense of purpose and accomplishment that does not depend on online feedback.
These activities help build real world connection and self-esteem.
All right, y'all. Integrating approaches.
A holistic approach involving integrating these strategies into a coherent program

(19:51):
that addresses the needs of adolescents from multiple angles.
For example, a community program could combine psychological counseling with
a spiritual guidance and social activities to provide a balanced support system.
This approach not only addresses the immediate effects of social media,
but also builds long term resilience and a strong sense of community belonging.

(20:14):
The research-based approach highlights the necessity of multifaceted response
to the challenges posed by social media,
emphasizing the understanding and mitigating its impacts requires contribution
from psychological, spiritual,
and community perspectives, y'all.
Listen, we gots to be on the ball game, okay? OK, listen, that's our current

(20:39):
event for this episode, guys, in in the light of now.
OK, guys, we got to work harder to protect our children from this social media
war that is on them and around them.
OK, and instead we have to be vigilant, guys. We have to be on it.
You know, we don't have time to put it down.

(21:01):
So it's time to move into deep dive devotion, guys.
It's time to move into teaching our teaching segment and
get into the word of God for
today now since season five here is
season man listen be on season five and I'm listen
I'm excited so I'm actually going to start in the
gospels I'm starting the new testament the old

(21:23):
testament is one thing but it was on my on my spirit and
my heart to begin this season in the new testament guys so you
guys can understand jesus understand the bridge understand
who is standing in the gap and
why it is important to understand the gap um what's
happening in the gap because you go in that old testament it can get you it
can get you lost if not a mature so i need you to know why the new testament

(21:47):
is here i need you to know why jesus and then in your time go back into the
old testament or whatever point in the season we start diving into old testament
probably won't be this season but maybe next season,
but whenever we're diving into the Old Testament, for you guys to understand
all that stuff in there that's happening, that's leading up to Jesus,
it's been paid, okay?

(22:08):
I want you to know it's been paid, right? I want you to know Jesus has already
done the ultimate thing for your life, okay?
And so, yeah, guys, let's get into it with the first book in the New Testament,
Matthew, y'all, and let's get it.
Matthew 1 the genealogy of Jesus Christ the book
of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David and

(22:31):
the son of Abraham Abraham was the father of Isaac
and Isaac the father of Jacob and Jacob the father of Judah
and his brothers and Judah the father of
Perez and Zerah by Tamar and
Perez the father of of Hezron and Hezron
the father of Ram and Ram the father of Amenadab

(22:51):
and Amenadab the father of Nashan
and Nashan the father of Salmon Salmon and
Salmon the father of Boaz by
Rahab and Boaz the father of
Obed by Ruth and Obed the father of Jesse and Jesse the father of David the

(23:12):
king and David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah and Solomon the the father of Rehoboam,
and Rehoboam, the father of Abijah.
And Abijah, the father of Asaph, and Asaph, the father of Jehoshaphat,
and Jehoshaphat, the father of Joram, and Joram, the father of Uzziah, and Uzziah,

(23:38):
the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat, the father of
Ahazaz and Ahazaz the father of Hezekiah and
Hezekiah the father of of Messiah oh
Hezekiah the father of of the Manasseh and Manasseh the father of Amos and Amos
the father of Josiah and Josiah the father of uh Jaxana and the and his brothers

(24:02):
in the time of the deportation to Babylon.
And after the portion of Babylon Josiah was
the father of Shattiel and Shattiel the
father of Zerubbel and Zerubbel the father of
Abud and Abud the father of Eclim and
Eclim the father of Azor and Azor the father of Zodak and Zodak the father of

(24:26):
Achim and Achim the father of Elud and Elud the father of Eleazar and Eleazar
the father of of Nathan and Nathan the father And Jacob, the father of Joseph and Joseph,
the husband of Mary and whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.
So did we get that this i did a lot a lot of going back to jacob

(24:47):
and jacob the father of joseph a husband
of mary or of whom jesus was born
who is called christ okay guys we did
a whole lot of backtracking okay so all the generations from
abraham to david were 14 generations and from
david to the portion to babylon 14 generations
and from the portion of babylon to christ 14 15

(25:09):
generations okay the birth
of jesus christ matthew chapter 8 chapter 1
verse 18 says now the birth of jesus christ took place
in this way when his mother married
had been bethrowed to joseph before they came together she was found to be with
child from the holy spirit and her husband joseph being just a man and unwilling

(25:32):
to put her to shame resolved to divorce her quietly but as As he considered these things, behold,
an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph.
Son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which she is conceived
in her is from the Holy Spirit.

(25:52):
She will bear a son and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
All this took place to fulfill
what the lord had spoken by the
prophets okay so right there guys i want to dive into the importance of
fatherhood through that through the lens of

(26:13):
joseph right so she ended up pregnant
by the holy spirit and god is
big on the family so to keep joseph involved
in the life of jesus god's son
and angel to come in and and
and stop what joseph was planning uh to
do to mary okay to leave her and it's

(26:36):
important that we understand men you are where you
are supposed to be involved in the
family dynamic jesus god never left
it god never intended it to be different because if
he did he would have had jesus grow
up without an earthly father so i commend and
i and i applaud those that step in

(26:57):
as stepfathers because in this situation you could
see joseph as a stepfather because uh
jesus wouldn't be biologically his okay
so it's important guys for the stronghold of the man the stronghold of the husband
and the stronghold of the father to be in the house of the family no matter

(27:18):
how you try to cut the cookie how you try to make it look at it it's a divine
appointment by god to be that way okay.
So continuing on Matthew 1 verse 20, 23 says, behold, the virgin shall conceive
and bear a son and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which means God with us.
When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him.

(27:43):
He took his wife, but knew her not until she had given birth to a son and he called his name Jesus.
So what does that mean guys took took his wife
and knew her not until she had till she
had jesus however long after okay so
he didn't he didn't know mary's sweetness

(28:05):
down below until after jesus had
don't came out of that thing you hear me uh so listen
we can learn a lot from from matthew in
matthew and the life of joseph for us
men and and and and what was going
on during that time okay so matthew

(28:26):
matthew 1 starts with the dean of jesus okay
tracing his lineage from abraham through david and
ending with joseph the husband of mary okay the
husband of mary this establishes jesus's royal
masonic pedigree fulfilling old testament prophecies about the messiah's lineage
the letter part of the chapter focuses on both on the birth of jesus emphasizing

(28:49):
exercises his divine conception by the Holy Spirit and his mission to save people from their sins.
Guys, he was brought here to save you from your sins.
Your sins okay so the key things and the
lessons i want you guys to get from this is the fulfillment of a prophecy the genealogy
highlights the fulfillment of god's promises throughout the old testament showing

(29:10):
that jesus is the long-awaited messiah okay jesus as emmanuel the name emmanuel
means god with us underscores the incarnation god coming to earth in human form
right so So how is this happening?
The Trinity, God, the father, God's son, God, the Holy Spirit.
Okay. God is not. So the father is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not

(29:33):
Jesus. Jesus is not the Holy Spirit. Jesus is not the father.
So Jesus, a portion, a third of God that make up God came to earth to do a work
to save you from your sins.
Okay. He had an assignment. He on the earth. Okay.
Obedience and faith. joseph's response to the

(29:54):
angel's message exemplifies obedience and faith despite
the potential for scandal in mary's
premature pregnancy joseph acts righteously and
takes mary as his wife trusting god's plan
so even in the light of of what's
happening joseph is still caught still committed okay
still committed to what he's about to this

(30:16):
assignment because he has now accepted but god but
the angel has told him but god has given him
to to to move forward with okay so now
joseph is is in this area of obedience right
which is the area that we as as as followers
of of christ should be um scribing
to be in as well being obedient and being

(30:37):
faithful to god who is faithful to us
okay now let's go into matthew chapter 2
matthew chapter 2 y'all verse 1 says now
now after jesus was born in bethlehem
of judea in the days of harad the king
behold wise men from the

(30:57):
east came to jerusalem saying where is he here is he who has who has been born
king of the jews for we saw for we saw his star when when it rose and have come
to worship When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled.
And all Jerusalem with him.
And assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people,

(31:21):
he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.
They told him, In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet.
And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah.
For from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.

(31:49):
Then Harad summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star had appeared.
And he sent them to Bethlehem saying God
said go and search digitally for the
child and when you have found him bring me

(32:09):
word that I too may come and
worship him after listening to the king they went on their way and behold the
star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest
over the place place where the child was following them all the way there y'all
see See that star led them all the way down.

(32:32):
When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly and with great joy.
And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary, his mother,
and they fell down and worshiped him.
Then opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense
and mirth and being warned and being warned in a dream not to return to Harad.

(32:53):
They departed to their own country by another way.
So they didn't go back and let Harad know, did not go back and let Harad know where Jesus was.
The flight to Egypt. Now, when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord
appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, rise, take the child and his mother

(33:15):
and flee to Egypt and remain there until I tell you.
For Harad is about to search for the child to destroy him.
He tried to lie on the trick that the men to delete him where he was.
And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt
and remained there until the death of Harad this was to fulfill what the Lord

(33:36):
had spoken by the prophet out of Egypt I called my son.
Hurrah kills the children then hurrah when he saw
that he had been tricked by the wise men became
furious and he sent and killed all
the male children in bethlehem and all that in
all that region who were two years old or
under according to the to the time he had

(33:59):
ascertained from the wise men then was
fulfilled on what was spoken by the
prophet jeremiah a voice was heard in ramah
weeping a loud limitation Rachel weeping
in for her children and she refused to
to be comforted because they had they

(34:20):
are no more the return of Nazareth
the return to Nazareth but when Herod died
behold the angel of the Lord appeared in the
dream to Joseph in Egypt saying rise take the
child and his mother and go to the land of
israel for those who sought the child's life
are dead and he rose and took took the child and his mother and went to the

(34:43):
land of israel but when he heard that archelius archelius was was reigning over
judea in place of of his father harab he was
afraid to go there and being warned in a dream
to withdrew to the district of galilee and
and he went and lived in a city called.

(35:05):
Nazareth so that that so that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled
that he would be called a nazarene okay so a lot going on there in chapter chapter two.
Of our talk on matthew okay so the chapter details the visit

(35:27):
of magi right from the east which come
to worship worship the newborn king of the jews harad the great the great feeling
threatened by the birth of the potential rival deceitfully inquires about the
child under the under the gaze of wanting to worship him this leads to the holy
family's flight to egypt and the subsequent

(35:51):
massacre of innocents in Bethlehem the
key things I want you to learn from this guy is God's sovereignty the
journey of the Magi reveals that birth reveals that the
birth of Jesus has implications not just for Israel
but for all nations all nations God's
plan for salvation is inclusive and universal
right that's for the Hebrew Israelites the escape

(36:14):
to Egypt shows God's protective hand over
jesus from herod's murderous intentions murderous intentions ensuring the fulfillment
of his purpose innocent suffering innocent sufferings the massacre of the innocent
illustrate the darkness and evil present in the world concentrating sharply with the light brought.

(36:36):
By jesus yes so it
was an immense evil for what harad did chasing
after jesus okay chapter three
guys our final chapter in this segment for
the day guys it says in those days john the baptist
came preaching in the wilderness of judea repent
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand for this is Is he who was spoken of by

(37:03):
the prophet Isaiah when he said the voice of the one crying in the wilderness
prepare the way of the Lord make his path straight. Ah.
Now, John wore garment of camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist,
and his food was locusts and wild honey.

(37:25):
Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region about the Jordan were going
out to him, and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and the Sadducees coming to his baptism,
he said to them, Your blood you brought of vipers who warned you to flee from the wrath to come.

(37:51):
Bear fruit in keeping with repentance and do not presume to say to yourselves.
We have Abraham as our father.
For I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham.
Even now the axe is laid to the
to the root to the root of the trees every

(38:11):
tree did not just say root y'all heard every tree
therefore that does not bear good fruit is.
Cut down and thrown into the
fire for the root y'all i baptize you
with with water for repentance but he
who is coming after me is mightier than i though whose

(38:32):
sandals i am not worthy to carry him he
will baptize you with the holy spirit and fire his
his winnow his his winnowing fork is
is in his hand and he will clear his
thrashing clear his thrashing floor and gather
his wheat into the barn but the cleft but
the shelf he will burn with unquenchable

(38:55):
fire then jesus came from galilee to
jordan to john to be baptized by him
john would have prevented him saying
i need to be baptized by you and do
you come to me but jesus answered him let it be
so now for thus it is it is
fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness then he

(39:15):
consented and when jesus was baptized immediately he
went up from the water and behold the heavens.
Were opened up to him and he saw the spirit of
god descending ascending like a dove and coming to rest
on him and behold a voice from heaven said
this is my beloved son
with who i am pleased

(39:37):
mighty y'all that's mighty right there y'all all right so john the baptist prepares
the way for jesus by preaching repentance and baptizing in the wilderness of
judea his ministry his ministry fulfills isaiah's prophecy about a voice calling
The chapter culminates with Jesus'.
Baptism by John in the Jordan River, which marks the beginning of Jesus' public ministry.

(40:03):
I forgot to announce, y'all, the title of this season for season five is The
Kingdom of God Will Prevail.
Right. So just dealing with that beginning, John, the Baptist prepared the way
for Jesus teaching repentance.
OK, the turn. OK, so the key things I need you to learn from chapter three,

(40:24):
guys, the repentance for the kingdom of God.
John message emphasizes the need for personal and communal repentance.
Preparing people for the coming kingdom.
Jesus' baptism as divine confirmation Jesus'
baptism is significant Even where he is
publicly endorsed by God And filled with the
Holy Spirit This moment signifies his consecration

(40:48):
For his Masonic mission The Trinity During the baptism of Jesus The appearance
of the Holy Spirit As a dove And the voice of the Father Affirming Jesus as
his beloved Son Provide a clear manifestation manifestation of the Trinity.
So there is an operation of the touch.

(41:09):
You got Jesus that is here on the earth. The word is here on the earth in flesh, in the flesh.
The heavens open up. The Holy Spirit comes down in representation of a dove to settle upon Jesus.
And then a voice, the father in heaven confirms that which who the Holy Spirit

(41:30):
is essentially laying hands upon.
On this is my son with whom i am
well please y'all the the thing that is happening is so significant and it's
so bold okay so bold guys that we are having this happen they jesus is here

(41:50):
is is being baptized guys and listen i want you guys to understand this here for sure.
I want you guys to understand this here for sure god loves
every ounce of you you
hear me and the display of
jesus going through the same process that you have to go to right the baptism

(42:12):

(46:14):
oh God, every arrow of destruction, oh God, that is coming their way, Father,
yes, God, that the self-esteem, oh God, the low self-esteem,
Father, will not be their portion, oh God, but I even begin to decree and declare,
Father, even right now, Father, that that young child,
Father, somewhere in this world, oh, Father, begin to see how valuable that
they are, Father, that the shifting of the hearts of the family,

(46:36):
oh, God, begin to see how precious, oh, God, their child is,
oh, Father, and may that parent, oh, God, be given wisdom,
oh, God, and understanding,
oh, God, and foresight to see, Father.
May the veil be removed from their eyes, oh Father, that they may be able to
see through God and be able to see for their child, oh Father,

(46:56):
and be able to comfort for their child, oh Father, and be able to understand for their child, God.
In the mighty name of Jesus, oh God, I prophesy, Father, right now,
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh God, that there's a shifting in this atmosphere, Father,
in this region, oh God, in the United States, oh Father, yes,
God, for the importance, oh God, for the protection of our children, oh Father.

(47:17):
Music.
May there be fire given, O God, and an upbringing, O God, that is so,
God, supernatural, O Father.
Hallelujah, Father God, that we put back, Father, what needs to be done, Father.
Hallelujah, Father God, that prayer, O God, that they begin to pray for their children, O God.
Hallelujah, Father God, that even, Father, yes, God, that they need their parents, Father.

(47:38):
They need every ounce, Father, of who their parents are, Father.
For, God, you have given them a commandment, God.
So, God, I pray for every father and every mother, O God.
Hallelujah, Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh, God.
God, I even pray for the father, oh, God, that's separated from his child, oh, God.
For whatever reason, Father, whether it be because he run away from responsibility,
or if it's because he just simply can't because of something that maybe the mother is doing, God.

(48:02):
Hallelujah, Father God, I break it right now, Father, in the mighty name of
Jesus, oh, God, the spirit of separation, God.
Hallelujah, Father God, and may you enter, Father, yes, God, to bring that thing,
to where it's supposed to be father they might not be meant for each other god
they might not be meant to belong together or be married father but may they be able to have peace.

(48:24):
May they have peace father in their relationship according oh father to be able
to raise that child father in the way that it should go father yes god because
they still have a commandment upon their life god yes god to raise it up father
in the way that it shall should go father and when When it is over,
it shall not depart, God.
How do you, Father, that is a promise that you have made, Father,

(48:45):
that I believe in, Father, that your people believe in, Father.
And, God, we stand on that word right now, Father. And we declare to the enemy,
you will not have this child's life.
Your purpose and your blueprint is put to fire.
Hallelujah, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh, God, come above that father's
life. Come above that mother's life.
Allow them to breathe in the name of Jesus, oh, God.

(49:07):

Hallelujah, Father. I am praying for effective communication,
oh, God, between the husband and wife, Father.
Yes, God, that they are able to talk things out, Father.

(50:59):
That emotions don't get too high, God. That they are able to separate the two,
Father. And understand, Father, that you have put them together, oh, God.
Hallelujah, Father, God. Not for a purpose. Not for a goal. not to get bigger
and better, Father, but simply, Father, to love one another,
O God, through this time here on this earth, God.

(51:20):

(52:31):
there is breakthrough on this side.

Right now in your storm, right now in the destruction, right now in the damages.
Music.

(54:01):
God, I thank you, Father. Yes, God, you are worthy, Father, of it all, oh God.
And God, I begin to speak here right now in the mighty name of Jesus, oh God.
Those that's feeling some kind of pain right now, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh, God.
I come for knee pain, Father, back pain, Father. I'm talking about headaches and migraines, God.

Yes, God, please, oh, Father, forgive us, oh, God, for our sins.
Father, for where we have transgressed, Father.

(55:51):
Forgive us, oh, God, the backsliders, oh, Father, that seem to keep running
back, hallelujah, God, to what you have delivered them from,
Father, and God, I only ask, Father, that you take out those things, Father.
Yes, God, that do not belong, Father. Remove them, Father.
For God, we desire to be in proximity to you, Father. Forgive us,

(56:12):
Father, and help us to walk in your ways, God, to walk.
Music.

(57:54):
All right, guys, let's move into our next segment. Hallelujah.
What a powerful prayer, Father God.
I thank you, God, for what you are doing, God. Now, listen, the crown scale
of gospel music, guys, is what this segment we are going into right here.
Okay. This segment is designed to uplift the spirit and sharpen our ears to
define messages embedded in gospel music.

(58:15):
We'll access songs based on the divine inspiration, musical excellence,
lyrical depth, and originality from the heavenly hits that score top marks across
the board to the tunes that may need a little redemption.
Redemption we're covering it all join us as
we journey through melodies that come that move

(58:37):
to the soul and and lyrics that lift
the heart whether you're a gospel music uh afro
sonato or just looking for some spiritual nourishment
through through song this is the place
to be let's tune our hearts to.
The rhythm of heaven and find out which songs resonate
with the divine tune in tune tune in

(59:00):
turn up the volume and let's and let the
heavenly harmonies begin all right
so so how is this going to break down guys so here's the
here's the criteria the crown scale is
what it's called okay so divine inspiration so every every
every category you get one through ten to make up to make up
to your hundred okay so however many points you get to make

(59:21):
up to your hundred then you get a total score okay so divine
inspiration it measures the
song's ability to inspire uplift and connect the
listeners to to spiritual themes musical excellence
is assess the quality of musicianship including
vocal performance instrument instrumentation and
arrangement lyrical depth elevates the

(59:43):
song's lyrics for their theological accuracy death
and ability to convey a powerful message originality
scores the song as a uniqueness in sound and and message compared to the contemporary
gospel music okay so writing outcomes so if they get between 40 and 30 points

(01:00:04):
it's a heavenly hit okay top which is a top tier song that excels in.
All aspects truly a blessing to listeners 20 to
29 to 20 points is a naughty anthem a
song an impactful song thought it may
have a few it may have a few areas of improvement
10 to 19 points it's a spiritual song
decent effort with some notable qualities

(01:00:27):
but needs refinement to truly shine
and they get below 10 points it needs redemption a
song that falls short of several the artist might consider revisiting its elements
okay welcome to heavenly harmonies segment and let's get started with our first
song it's a holy drill um it's called god is bigger.

(01:00:51):
Music.

(01:02:45):
All right y'all so we're back from that god is bigger the holy drill uh real
fast so in the first category i gave him a seven man i gave him a seven because.
It was kind of inspiring um they didn't really you know really say much i i i i got it.

(01:03:11):
As far as musical excellence ss and
quality and musicianship i gave my seven it was
good it was good in that category as well
for lyrical death um guys i only gave them before because they
didn't say much they didn't uh just pretty much ran the chorus back
and then for a long time there they didn't really much say much
at all for originality i did

(01:03:32):
score them high on originality i gave my eight because holy drill is definitely
something different as a matter of fact our next song is also a drill song so
just because they're came into the segment it's not
the same you know rap or it's not the same songs that
we hear all together it's the reason why i gave them
that so we're going to do is add up these four categories get out get
our score i made a mistake earlier i said i maxed to

(01:03:53):
100 but it actually goes to 40 because we only got four
categories four categories in this
thing so seven seven four and eight so we're
going to see what their final score is guys hang in there
final score is a 26
so they 26 on the heavenly drill 26 so that gives them an anointing anthem okay

(01:04:17):
a strong and impactful song thought it though it may have a few areas of improvement
okay so it's an anointing anthem and that's also good too so we got another
drill song coming up here it's called yeshua.
Music.

(01:06:50):
All right, y'all. So listen, that was that song. OK, I heard the holy drill.
OK, so I gave this song in the first category. I gave it a seven.
I get the divine inspiration. You know, I gave it a seven.
Now for the for the second category, for our second category,
which is musical excellence, I did give it an eight. Now that beat was rocking.

(01:07:13):
OK, specifically on the musicianship, I gave it an eight.
So it was good okay lyrical death guys i
only gave it a four simply because uh it's only repeating
and then i gave the last one i gave
it a i scored it high on the eight simply because it's a new style
new form of gossip music so so yeah
so let's be going to add these up seven eight four and eight okay was the scores

(01:07:36):
for that gave it a 27 guys 27 was its final score and it ended up being an anointed
anthem okay an anointed anthem was this song all right so let's let's listen listen we
on the road let's move into our next song which is by renita graber the breath

(01:07:57):
of god okay the breath of god.
Music.

(01:17:23):
Oh my goodness y'all so y'all know i gave it
a nine a nine a eight and a nine for a total score of
35 she is a heavenly hit
now i want to doctor the point the two points on
the on the vocal just because she really did the same um but everything was
still logically sound she was really just giving y'all scripts she was prophesying
she was declaring in that song it was different i gave it a nine but then to

(01:17:47):
be in a different style a different style and kind of song um listen i'm I'm excited. I'm excited.
I hope you guys enjoyed this episode. I enjoyed making it. It was so different.
I guess because it was structured.
You know, usually I come over here, I give y'all a topic, I pray and then we
get out. But it was really through and through, I feel like.
But y'all know I'm not done. I got a surprise.

(01:18:11):
Y'all know I come with surprises. Y'all know what's going on.
Y'all know I'm about it, about it. I'm about it, about it, about it.
So here it is because I'm about it, about it.
Are you guys ready for the hit for for
this guys are y'all ready for this for.
Music.
This uh what i got for this it's called divine gems
hunt it's the divine gems hunt y'all yes y'all i'm doing these giveaway again

(01:18:38):
y'all i'm telling you i'm telling you 350 dollars this season for season five
at At the end of season five,
$350 if you want this money.
I got this money for season five.
Music.
I'm telling you, I'm telling you, shout out to a pan of spring water.

(01:19:01):
Listen, my wife is going to crack up when she hear this part of the episode
because she know what I was doing with that water bottle when we was on vacation
in Orlando for Journey Birthday.
Y'all, it was fun. It was fun there, y'all. Y'all, we got it.
The bloopers got to be shown, y'all. I'm telling y'all, I went to astronomical
lengths, y'all, to make that commercial. You hear me?

(01:19:22):
But anyways, y'all, it's called the Divine Gems Hunt, y'all.
We are hunting for scriptures.
So whenever I do this part of the show, whenever I do this part of the episode,
whether it's in the middle of the show, at the beginning of the show,
