Caller is on the air for an opportunity to win
a pair of tickets playing Birdie or Bogey. Call her hello,
your name? Oh no, oh, sorry, wrong one caller. You're
(01:52):
on the air. Your name John, John from Phoenixville calling
in right here, right now, with an opportunity to win
a pair of tickets to the Truest Championship. John from Phoenixville.
I love Phoenixville, great area. Do you know there's a
Gerhart showroom that just opened up in your neck of
the woods.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Nice?
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah, Gerhart's Appliance, Philly's team support them. John. Enough of that,
you got a chance to win a pair of tickets.
It's the Truest Championship. All you gotta do is play
birdie or bogie. If you think the answer is right,
of course, it's a birdie. If you think the answer
is wrong, of course it's a bogey. Really easy to understand, John,
You ready to rock and roll? I got three questions?
Get two out of three. You're going to Truist Championship.
(02:33):
Hanging with Luke and myself. I'm ready. All right, Here
we go. Birdie or bogie? Question number one, John from Phoenixville.
The maximum number of golf clubs a player is allowed
to carry in their bag during the round is fourteen.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
Is it birdie or bogie? I'm gonna go Bertie, Luke Arcaney.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
John is correct? John is right? First, Yeah, start to shoot.
We're hooking them up. Nice work on that one. All right, Wow,
you were really confident on that one. Man had it
in my head it was fourteen. How about that fourteenth? Boom?
All right? John from Phoenixville knows a thing or two
(03:24):
about golf, it seems, Luke, did you know that one? Yes?
I did? Okay, all right, John for Phoenixville. One more,
You're going to the Jewish championship. Are you ready to rolle?
First of all, you got wanting to shoot. Do you
have somebody in mind that you're gonna take on this adventure?
I mean Rory McIlroy. The guy's got a green jacket.
(03:44):
He's in town. Yeah, man, got all right. With that
being said, it's not going ahead of ourselves. Don't put
the cart before the horse, as they say, folks. Question
number two, John from Phoenixville, Jack Nicholas. His nickname is
(04:04):
the Golden Bear.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
Is that Bertie Bertie or Bogey Bertie?
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Oh, ladies and gentlemen, it is correct. John framigsmil is
going too now. Nice shot. The truest ship been ship.
Oh fantastic, great work, great work. I once again, we
just want to hook the people up here. Bertie or Bogie, Hey,
(04:31):
blest you one was difficult. He got that right. Gotta
give him credit. You could have said fifteen, could have
said sixteen. I don't know. Bryson D. Shambo seems like
a guy that would carry twenty clubs around if he could.
Don't know if that's correct they or not. So that
was a difficult question. Of course. The Golden Bear was easy.
But folks, it doesn't matter we want to hook up
our listening audience because we're not here without you the people. Uh,
John from Phoenixville, I'm gonna put you on hold. We'll
(04:53):
get all your information on the other side. Nice work
across the board, sir. I will see you up there
at the mikelob Ultra ten. I would imagine you have
a couple of seltzers in hands. Awesome, thank you? Oh
absolutely there he is. Great job. Did you know the
(05:14):
Golden Bear?
Speaker 4 (05:17):
So I I couldn't remember one hundred percent if that
was his nickname. But if if you give me a
nickname that specific, I don't think that would have been
something you changed. So I probably will win Birdie. But yes, yes,
especially the first answer first answers.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
That was cake. Yeah. Wow, we're on the top of golf.
Oh sure, bring it. Do you have any guesses for
what my purchase was? Oh? Good get that was a
tease for the last break? Sorry, Luke Arcane. Who's our
best golfer as far as the Gambler Gang is concerned. Uh,
and sam Oshi's gonna join us here in just a
second via the stream. Beautiful doing it? Oh my god,
(05:57):
I should I should sign up to be an traffic controller.
Everything I do behind the scenes. Right now, I could
run Dallas, I could run Newark, I could run Philly.
I should sign out of a different airport. But it's smart.
I think it's all smart for us not to fly
these days anyways. Yeah, let's just give that one. Yeah,
yea yea yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Can I fancy with that?
(06:19):
Bets Luke Arcady, it's the best golfer with the gambler gang.
If he's buying something, it's got my attention. My sensors
are going off. It might improve my game, Luke Rkenny,
What did you buy for the bag?
Speaker 4 (06:30):
I don't know if it essentially improves the game.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
It's not an old man item, is it? No? All right?
But I'll tell you what.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
It makes you feel more put together on the course.
It makes your roll up to the course in style
when you get out of the car. Sean, I purchased
a new golf bag this weekend.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Let's see it.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Let's get the all the new all leather Titleist golf bags.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
All leather. Look at that, what's the logo on the back.
So that is one of Jorsky's courses that I do
work for Club Pittsburgh, Jersey. I thought it was run
very nicely. The coot part of how it.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Is if you uh so, when you buy that bag,
I will say it's it's a little on the more
expensive side. But when you buy that bag, they give
you a a basically on them. They they let you
customize a bag tag for the back of it.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Okay, so it's a So it's.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
An initial engraved tag that you get on the back
of your bag. So that'll be here in about two weeks.
But yeah, made a nice little purchase this weekend. New
golf bags don't necessarily know, you know, if it helps
the game, but it makes you feel better out there
when you bring some new product out there.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
See, this is the difference between a guy who shoots
an eighty and a guy that goes out there and
shoots ninety five. Okay, Luke spent money on a beautiful
signature golf bag. That's hey, man, watch the leather. And
I bought a Costco bag over the over the off
(08:20):
season for sixty five dollars a bridge stone. Now, hey, look,
I will sell you this good back, good back sixty
five dollars and go bag bags are expensive. The cheapest
one I found was like two five, two ten. It
was a titleist. One caught my attention. I liked it.
Got this one from Costco for sixty five dollars a
month ago. I'm telling you right now. It's got some magnets.
(08:40):
It's got a little spot for my pencil. Right. Oh,
really nice bag. Tell you what I bought it. I
bought it, didn't think twice about it. Yeah, uh, you're
right there. It definitely doesn't help your golf game at all.
I could shot a forty in my first round on nine.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Look good, feel good, play good. Damn right, that's what
they all say.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
All right, Sam Ox is gonna join us via the street. Sorry,
I had a couple of things going on there. In
just a second. He's gonna be joining us just a
second here. But I do want to point out one
more housekeeping item. If I could did the truest championship,
we will give away another pair of tickets tomorrow. Oh
by the way, last call, last call on this. We
(09:25):
are Fox Sports the Gambler on the iHeartRadio app. Folks,
we are asking you to screenshot locking us in as
a preset on the iHeartRadio app for free. All you
gotta do is send that into our socials Facebook, Instagram,
or Twitter, one of the above, and you're randomly or
you are automatically entered into the hopper. I'm gonna randomly
(09:46):
select somebody tomorrow for a pair of tickets. There's only
three people that have done it so far, and I
think Ryan beef Quil is one of the three. So
hopefully we get a couple more entries tomorrow. But it's
wide open right now, so you can win a pair
of tickets there and we're gonna play Birdie your Boat
again tomorrow as well. On the daily ticket will be
out there on Wednesday and Friday. I d M Page.
I have yet to hear back from her. I did
(10:08):
d M her. I've yet to hear hear back from her.
I don't know. I figured she checked her d MS.
I thought I had a shot. You guys want to
hear what I wrote her.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Yeah, it's hair, hey Page, first time, first time, first time, first.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Time, long time. I love everything that you have brought
to the game of golf. And then something I kid,
I kept the class. See, I kept it the butt.
Look she's grinding right now. No no pause, there's no pause.
Speaker 6 (10:47):
I didn't I didn't there.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
I didn't. I did not pause. Did I write. I
think I probably present it from the station account. That
is where I did. I don't know. It's not there.
I did above the you know, kept the class. He's like,
hey man, I know you're doing something there. It is okay,
Hey Page Love love to get you on my radio
(11:11):
show in Philly to talk Creator Classic next week. I
work for the Gambler in Philly. Dash. iHeart radio wide open.
Let me know, haven't heard back. I think that that's
what the kids call riz dad is. That's that's what
we also say, shooter.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Shoot.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
You know what I mean, shoo shoot, han't hear back?
Maybe we'll get her on the show next. We still
got time, We're still a day. Maybe she's staying in
Concha hocking. She probably got secured. She probably has more
security than Rory does. Let's be honest. No, a friend
of mine told me that the Creator Classic have the
(11:51):
ticket sold.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Her because her Oh I believe it.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Not surprising.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
I believe it.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Dude's just good at what she does. She's tournament. Yeah,
you're right about that, having some fun here of course
on a Monday. Good at what he does. Sam ostri
from the Score, talking all things NBA playoffs, of course,
coming up at five o'clock year, Shammadhart and Sam ostriy
to re live a little earlier this morning, as they
do every Monday morning, recaping what just took place in
(12:19):
the world of NBA playoff basketball. Sam, we had two
doug game sevens. But a dud is a dud. I
don't give a damn. A win is a win two
and zero for your boy over here, Where do we start?
How about James Harden. That wasn't hard, uh to predict.
We knew he was going to come up small. What
is it? He is now the ford player in NBA
(12:39):
playoff history to lose a game seven on four different teams.
I'm sorry, Like, I'm not trying to be some genius here,
but I'm like, I'm gonna bet against James Hard. He's
gonna it's gonna come up small. I don't even think
that's the word. It's like he was non existent. What
is it? Like? How do you go into that game
and only come away with eight total shots.
Speaker 6 (12:58):
It's hard to to really understand because he's such a
brilliant player in the regular season and not even just
the regular season in playoffs. He's been a brilliant player
in the past. It's just in the monstrous moments. Game
six is, Game Seven's that's when he just shrivels, like
he just becomes a lesser version of himself and he
looks disinterested. Like that's the biggest thing is he looks disinterested.
(13:19):
He's coming off screens, not looking to score the basketball
in these big moments. You saw it in Philadelphia in
that Game six against Boston when they were up three
to two, and then that Game seven that they lost.
But he's he and you saw it yesterday. He just
doesn't or this weekend. He just doesn't come up big
in these moments. Yeah, he has so many opportunities and
that they're feeding him the rock and he just he's
(13:40):
always looking to pass it. He had thirteen assists, which
is fine. He's a great passer. He's really become a
great passer over the last half decade. That's a whole
new thing that he's brought to his game. But he
needs to be a scorer, like he needs to be
a scorer in these big moments. I will say he's
an easy target. Okay, Kawhi Leonard did not play well
down the stretch of the series at all. He wasn't
(14:02):
the Kawhi Leonard that you expected. And the reason why
I Clippers in seven is I didn't think the gap
between Jokich and Kawhi was that big. It ended up
being pretty big because kuie a great first couple of
games and then he really shrunk in those last few games,
and his numbers look good, like he was averaging twenty
to twenty five a game, but like, it wasn't the
Kawhi that I thought was one of the best, the
(14:22):
best player in one of the best players in the league,
which is what he showed down the stretch of the season.
And even you go back to those Sixers series with Harden,
he was bad in Game six and Game seven. Knows
also bad in Game six and Game seven Joel mb
So it's like, yeah, Harden's the easy target, but at
this point of his career, Harding can't be the guy.
And when his co stars and really these superstars of
the team also don't step up, you're gonna constantly lose
(14:45):
game sevens and big moments.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
That's totally fair. One agreement across the board. Easy target.
It's where I started, no doubt about it. It is funny,
you know, to to the history that we have had
here with him and of course Morey and all that,
and just knowing from the gambling p that I did
see everybody in a timeline. Oh there's no way I'm
taking the Clippers here, So everybody was all hands on
(15:06):
deck on that one. Let's talk about the Nuggets just
for a second here. Where are we at? What are
we talking about with the Nuggets? What's the next conversation?
This is a team that was in disarray? Is that
fair to say like they fired their coach.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
They fired their coach with a week left to go
in the season. You could, you could definitely say that.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
And now they're playing a really good Oklahoma City team
that I don't know, are they gettable?
Speaker 2 (15:28):
You sent me the.
Speaker 6 (15:28):
Stat this morning, Priest, Like teams that have had one
day of rest in between series, first, teams that have
had eight plus days of rest, which is what the
thunder are coming off of in Game one, especially that
those teams are six and up, and then the average
margin of victory is twenty point three. Yeah, so like
in Game one, if you're already assuming and that the
spread is nine and a half, tonight You're already assuming
(15:50):
that the thunder have this one game, one game lead
against this Nuggets team that's not old necessarily, but an
aging roster.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
It's not some youthful roster necessarily.
Speaker 6 (16:00):
So you have that team going against a young, spry
group that has played four games and last like three weeks.
I mean, they have not really played basketball at all
because of how they rested during the regular season, then
the playing that they didn't play that whole week, and
then they just sweep the first round series while they
wait for everyone else to wrap up. So I don't
really think the Nuggets have a chance in this series.
That's just the rest factor. In terms of the on
(16:21):
court the on court matchup, you've Chet Holmgrim and Isaiah Hartenstein,
who are the perfect front court.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Duo to stop at Jokic.
Speaker 6 (16:30):
I mean, that is so much size to throw out
Jokic and Isaiah will probably Hartenstein will start on Jokic,
and then you have Chet as a roamer helping off
Aaron Gordon or helping off of Russell Westbrook when he's
in the game.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
So that's just the perfect front.
Speaker 6 (16:42):
Court to stop Jokic or limit him at least similar
to what you saw with the Wolves last year where
they put Karnthine Towns on Cat and they'd Rudy go
or Karnthine Towns on Jokic and they had Rudy go
Bear roaming like that. Size is what is what hurts
the Jokic and I just don't trust his teammates in
the supporting cast. So I just think from a town perspective,
the thunder are way better and they're the well rested group.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
Sam Austrey from the Score joining Luke and I are
right here on the Daily Ticket five o'clock hour. You
get Sean Badhardt and Sam Austriy coming out your front
and center all things NBA Playoffs DraftKings Oka CE minus
seven hundred, Nuggets five to one plus five hundred and
the series price there as we just went over with
that number. It just does not work out for the
(17:23):
teams that are coming off of action and versus the
teams that have the rest is Sam pointed out with
that stat I got it on ESPN this morning and
Game one ten and a half. That number bumped up
since we went live at three o'clock now up to
ten and a half. Oklahoma City a big monster favorite
at nine to thirty five tonight, two twenty seven and
a half is our total with that? All right, staying
(17:45):
in the game sevens, let's talk about Houston and Golden State.
Easy one there and then on the flip side tomorrow,
that same stat that same trend that we just threw
out there, it applies for this one for Golden State
in Minnesota. How about this for crazy item. This is
the first time in Golden State's run with Steve Kerr
(18:05):
as the head coach that they are an underdog in
a playoff series. To start that is unbelievable? Is it wrong? Though?
Is to question it again? Like, you know, are they
opening up automatically with a one to zero lead? In
your mind? Sam, Yeah, I.
Speaker 6 (18:22):
Think the Timberwolves. I think it's more about the Timberolves
being disrespected. And you saw that with the markets when
the Lakers were massive favorites, and now you're seeing that.
I think the Timberwolves are being disrespected with this line.
I thought the Timberlves was going to be closer to
like a minus three hundred favorite. I think they're that
much better and they have that much of a size
advantage over the Warriors. And again, youthful group that has
had some rest against the aging Warriors team with Jimmy
(18:45):
Butler's not one hundred percent healthy. Steph Curry just came
off of not just a difficult series, and he was
great in the second half in that Game seven, but
it was really the Buddy Heal show. Like Buddy Hill
went off nine threes, a record for a game, seven
thirty three points. He was phenomenal everything they needed him
to be. But Jimmy Butler's a little banged up, Steph
Curry was they were being The Rockets were so physical
(19:05):
with Steph Curry off the ball. They were doubling every
single one of his touches, sending doubles at him, blitzing
ball screens, everything to throw Steph Curry off his game,
and it worked to a degree. I mean, he had
some good games and good moments, but he largely struggled
for most part of the series with his efficiency. So
Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler and all those guys coming
off a really physical series against the Wolves who wrapped
(19:27):
it up in five and looked pretty dominant in the
in the paint just from an offense rebound perspective, from
points in the paint perspective over the Lakers. I think
they're gonna have that similar matchup advantage because Draymond Green
is the Warriors five. I mean, they have the luxury
of going to Kevon Looney, but Draymond Green is the
Warriors five. And we're talking about Draymond Green. He might
(19:48):
literally kill Rudy Gobert. Like this isn't like a Draymond
Green likes to chirp a lot of people. Draymond Green
likes to get like, he likes to get animated. You
saw with Dylan Brooks. You see it with Asar Thompson,
or excuse me, a men Thompson. You see it with
these guys. But that's just Draymond being Draymond. There is
genuine hatred that he has for Rudy Gobert. I mean
I watched that replay again this morning of the choke
(20:08):
strangle from last season. Draymond was out of the tax tree,
he wasn't even in the play, and he runs in.
He sees an opportunity to choke out Rudi go Beert.
He runs into the play and just takes advantage of it.
You see it all the whenever he's doing his media
stuff with TMT Dreymond Green every chance he gets to
take shots to Rudy Gobert, makes fun of him for
(20:28):
crying a few years ago, brings that up three years later.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
This is genuine hatred he has for Rudy Gobert.
Speaker 6 (20:34):
So, first off, Steve Kurtz having the conversation of you
have to be careful, but it's also like you have
to control your emotions and and I don't know if
Draymon Green is capable of that.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Tell I got to ask you one quick, one quick
one on Rudy or one quick one in Draymond real
quick is that he literally does play to a different
set of rules. I can't believe he wasn't thrown out suspended.
It is. It's it's maddening from from afar. But you know,
I don't want to see Draymond get thrown out of
this series. I want to see him chirp in Rudy's
(21:05):
ear and have Rudy just all over the place. Sorry, Luke,
go ahead, No.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
You're fine, Sam, I got to ask you about the
Indiana Pacers. I'm like, more and more, it just feels
like this team is one legit but two and I
think sometimes this can be even more important in the
playoffs is just they just it feels like they just
have that feel and that look to them. It doesn't
(21:29):
seem like they're afraid of anybody. It doesn't seem like
they care that they were massive underdogs heading into this series.
Are the Pacers able to win the series? Is is
this a thing where the Pacers win game one and
then the Calves step it up and win the next
four or is this Pacers team, you know, like truly
(21:52):
a legit team to beat the Caves.
Speaker 6 (21:54):
I think it comes down to health and two things
can be true. The Pacers are really good team, and
they have been over the last year and a half.
They also have benefited more than any other playoff team
of the last two postseasons now from playing injured squads.
They just have you go back to last series last season,
or the playoffs last season, when when that run started
(22:16):
they beat the Bucks without Giannis. That entire series, Giannis
didn't play a game. They're down two zero against the Knicks,
Ognobi goes out completely changes trajector trajectory of the series,
and then of course Brunton gets hurt in that Game seven,
But it was really og going out that that altered
that series, so the Pacers benefit from that. Of course,
first round, the last couple of weeks they didn't play
(22:36):
or Damian Lillard wasn't part of that team for most
of the time with the Bucks, and now Game one
against the Calves, they don't have our Calves don't have
Darius Garland and now Evan Mobley maybe out for Game two.
So that's the biggest thing. It's like, the health of
this Calves team is everything right now, and this stayed
such a great regular season, so it's really a shame
(22:57):
to see their health fall apart. So it's true that
the Pacers are a really good team. They've also gotten
extremely lucky with just playing injured squads. I will say,
like Tyre's Haliburn, I haven't been the biggest Tyres Haliburn,
but his his growth as just a playmaker, his ability
to read defenses and just perfectly get guys their shots.
(23:20):
And he's not like the best scorer, but he's so
good at getting to the second level of defense, forcing
help and then forcing kickouts, which leads to rotations long closeouts,
attacking guys off the dribble. And the Pacers they're so deep,
they have so many different guys like aaron Ne Smith,
Benedict Mathrin, Andrew Nemoer, all these different guys who can
just come in and immediately contribute, and and and and
(23:41):
serve a role as as a as a guy who
can make plays for Tyre's Haliburn when he sets them up.
So when the Pacers Pacers get these defenses in rotation,
they're just so hard to guard. And all starts with
Tyre's Haliburn getting two feet in the lane and starts
with Tylery Haliburton, Tyre's Haliburton becoming a phenomenal reader of
the defense, so he deserves all the c in the world.
But it's also like the Pacer of John Got Lucky.
(24:03):
They just aren't playing teams when they're completely healthy. So yeah,
they can win the series if the Calves aren't at
full strength.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
For sure.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
If the Calves do get their guys back and they're
close to.
Speaker 6 (24:11):
One hundred percent, I think the Calves are the better team,
and I think the Calves should win this in six
or seven, But it all comes down to health at
this point.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Yeah, that's definitely something to add into the equation, no
doubt about it. As you pointed out, like, you know,
no mobile kidding me. Of course, Carlan. We knew that
it was out. But at the end, let me get
your thoughts as far as maybe take us on the
inside for people that have been running around and they
missed that game. It was tight all the way up
until what a couple of minutes left in the fourth
quarter the Calves had the lead and then they couldn't
(24:40):
make a shot and the Pacers go on this run.
What happened in those final couple minutes And was it
a fluke? Is this something they could build off of?
Is this just a matter of Cleveland wasn't hitting their shots.
What was your takeaway from the stretch that ultimately decided
to gain for the Pacers.
Speaker 6 (24:55):
Yeah, I mean the Cavs shot twenty three percent from
three and the Pacers shot fifty two percent three. They
made ten more threes than the Calves. Like, if you're
making ten more threes than your opponent, you're probably gonna
win most of your games. But again, Tyresalla deserves credit
for that, Like he was generating these looks by getting
two feet in the lane and creating good opportunities for
his teammates to get open shots. So like they the
(25:16):
Pacers have that what the Calves are missing and what
they missed down the stretch, and Donovan Mitchell had a
pretty good second half after coming out pretty slow in
that first first half. But what the Calves are missing
is a secondary creator right now with that Darius Garland like,
it's all on Donovan Mitchell to create for that Calves offense.
And they play similar similar the way they play. Both
these teams play with a lot of pace. They'd like
to move the ball. They've passed the ball a ton,
(25:37):
get guys in rotation that they're really good at just passing,
creating guys. We're getting all guys involved in their offense.
But they need more than one creator. They were great
at that because Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell compliment each
other as two primary creators.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
Without Darius Garland, all the scoring.
Speaker 6 (25:53):
Creation relies on Donovan Mitchell and it's just too hard
of a load from to carry against the Pacers defense.
That's been criticized throughout the last year and a half
because Tyr's Haliburn hasn't always been the best defender and
he's easy a target, but he helped yesterday, Like they
were trying to target Tyres Sliburn, and he held up
this Pacers team since the All Star Break, eighth best
defense in the league. This Pacers defense has gotten the
(26:14):
job done. So without Darius Garland as the secondary creator,
the Cavs offense kind of just fell apart in that
second half, all right.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Uh, Sam Austrey from the weekend, that was as far
as NBA a playoff basketball game. Seven duds across the board.
Buddy Healed going off for thirty plus, thanks, Buddy could
have used that in the last year and against them.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Well, they didn't play him.
Speaker 6 (26:37):
He was scared, he was scared to shoot in the
Sixers defense, but they also stopped playing him.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Buddy Heel was not Buddy Healed with the Sixers, right
like he wasn't the Buddy Healed not trying to make
Buddy Healed out to be this huge NBA player of
all time, but you know he wasn't scoring thirty three
for the seventy six ers in the game now, But
they also didn't give him a chance. Yeah, no chance,
(27:02):
that's the Sixers. This is whatever. Anyways. With that being said, uh,
we are talking to a diehard New York Knicks fan
in Sam Austrey. So it's through cat Cat kid, my kid.
We do need to pen Sean Bernard down to get
that date locked in the books so we can make
that happen. It might be a four game series. It's
got happen pretty quick. Exactly what I was thinking, Sam
(27:26):
the great minds think alike. Bottom line is this series
could be over fairly quick. We got Monday, we got Wednesday,
we got Saturday, we got Monday. This might be a
Monday type of deal next Monday on the twelfth that
we're gonna roll out to a bar so Sean could
complete that wager once and if you missed it, we
had a little head to head act.
Speaker 6 (27:43):
Fortunately, actually, Sean Bernard and I are going to be
at a draft lottery party because the Draft lottery is
next Monday.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
So well, guess guess who's gonna be wearing Celtic gear
to that Draft lottery party. I like that, Like that's
how we're gonna pay this wager off. I would have zoom,
And that's gonna be even better because he's gonna go
walk in there in that place all greened up.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Yeah, that's not gonna be great for his brand.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
Not gonna be great for his brand and probably is
not gonna sign off on it, but we'll have some.
It's the gambler gang. You gotta pay off the wager,
damn it. I would have changed that core Oil exactly.
I know you would have. Well, you know, I was
thinking we didn't technically say you needed to do it
with their hands all that. I thought you could take
it to Jiffy Loop and come back and be like
I changed you Oil. You didn't go to the shop
(28:30):
and I went to that shoot him the game? Hey,
you know, well we always get the devil's in the detail,
you know, right, exactly, all right, So let's talk about
the Nicks here. You know, we're looking at a number
close to double digits. It's at nine four games played
this season, Knicks never beat him, average score sixteen points
of victory for the Boston Celtics getting drew Holiday back. Like, okay,
(28:54):
is that is it that easy? Boston four or five?
Let's move on, Like, will we see a gaming game one?
Is there a player that could be a difference for
the Knicks. How can they at least show up in
Boston and put up a damn fight in game one? Here?
Speaker 6 (29:11):
I think game one is gonna be competitive. I do
think tonight's gonna be competitive. I think the Knicks have
had a decent amount of RASK coming off a really
physical series, so I think Game one is gonna be
competitive tonight. I don't think it's gonna be a competitive series, though,
And even if every I could see every game being
somewhat competitive, but the Celtics winning like in five still
like sometimes you see the series where it's a competitive series,
(29:32):
but it's still a sweeper or a gentleman's sweet. I
went back and watched a lot of these games this
weekend between the Knicks and Celtics.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
The Knicks has no chance, like their only chance is if.
Speaker 6 (29:42):
Christ As Porzingis gets hurt, Drew Holiday reinjures his hamstring,
Jalen Brown's knee starts bothering him, and then the Celtics
shoot like thirty percent from field from from three the
whole series.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Like it's the knixt defensive personnel.
Speaker 6 (29:59):
The why didn't Celtic offense is so great is because
they have five guys who can beat you off the dribble,
who can shoot the ball.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
They space the floor.
Speaker 6 (30:05):
Exceptionally, the best team attacking mismatches at putting two on
the ball, getting teams in rotation. They are so hard
to guard because of their just deadly lineup. And I
was watching these games. I was going back and watching
these games and Coarnthine Towns and Jaylen Brunton are such
liabilities defensively that you just that Celtics just attack, attack, attack,
especially Corinthine Towns and the pick and roll like he
(30:28):
was didn't drop the whole time, and the Celtics were
attacking him in drop coverage and they had no answer.
Jason Tatum, Christaps Porzingi's pick and roll was deadly, deadly
against against the Knicks, and Jalen Brunson is also a
very weak defender. So when you have two guys that
can be targeted defensively like that, it's just so hard
to guard.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
The Celtics screw like Tatum.
Speaker 6 (30:48):
He's number one, he's third in playoff and points per
game right now, but in the regular season he was
The two guys who he scored more on than any
other defenders in the entire league were Coronthine Towns and Mchal.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Bridges, And of everyone who guarded him this entire season.
Speaker 6 (31:03):
In the regular season, he scored more points on those
two guys than anybody else. Oj Anomi Annobe was actually
his best defender. He had him to twenty five percent
shooting from the field when Ogi was actually guarding Tatum.
But still, like the subject is so good at making
getting og off of him and getting one of the
guys they.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
Want on him like a cat, like a Brunson.
Speaker 6 (31:23):
So it's just from a matchup perspective, it's just a
nightmare for the Knicks because there's just they don't have
the personnel to guard this group. And then offensively, I've
been critical of this Knicks offense because as great as
Jalen Brunton is and the heliocentric approach that they take,
and he's a hero in that fourth quarter and as
a clutch performer, this Knicks offense is two one dimensional.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
You need more actions for mckl bridges.
Speaker 6 (31:45):
You need mcel bridges to be more to be utilized more,
and you saw that when Jaylen Brunson went down during
the regular season.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
But he's just been underutilized by Tom Thibodeau.
Speaker 6 (31:53):
They weren't running as much pick and roll and pick
and pop between Brunson and Cat last series compared to
the regular season. There's just so much of the Knicks
offense is leaving on the table. They're not maximizing the
talent that they have on the floor offensively that It's
just I don't see a way they're being the Celtics looke.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
That's that lower Marian education.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
Helio what Yeah, wait, I was gonna ask you to
spell that and use it in a center helio centric
h g l I O ce n t r.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
I c so helio definition. Yeah, the senator, I got
it right here. I pulled it up. I had to.
I had it. I had to fire it up. I
just it was like, wait, what what?
Speaker 4 (32:29):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (32:30):
Nice work. See Sam's a rider, Dude, Sam's right, so
are you, Luke? But Sam's a rider?
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (32:35):
I actually did have it.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
But you think I'm using helio centrics dot com right
of your mind.
Speaker 6 (32:41):
You can say, look, I'm not the biggest baseball guy,
but you could say Aaron Judge is a Is he
like a helio centric part of that Yankees offense?
Speaker 2 (32:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (32:49):
Yeah, I feel like he's the only guy doing I'm
still trying to figure out what helio centric.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
It's a one man's show. It's a one man's show
I love it all right, Yes, yes, he is absolutely great, Sam,
awesome job across the board. Look, uh, it's it's unfortunate.
But with the way that the Celtics have performed. Of course,
what we know last year, because I think there were
some people out there that were doubters of the Celtics, like, yeah,
all right, show me, show me when you get to
(33:14):
the playoffs, show me when you get to the final.
And then they got the job done. And then they
come out there and all they do is just fill
it up from outside. It starts and ends with whether
or not Boston it's their three pointers. That's it. It's
the only way that they're going to lose a game
from here on out. Now, is there better matchups than
the New York Knicks, of course, But in this series,
if they're hitting, what's the percentage, Sam, Like, give me
(33:36):
the number that if they finished with twenty five percent
on three pointers, then we're gonna see maybe a Nick
possible victory in that game. Other than that, I just
don't see Boston losing a game.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
Yeah, there's no way.
Speaker 6 (33:47):
I'll give you some numbers here, because the Magic were
really good at emitting the three point attempts. So the Magic,
like their whole goal was to limit the three point attempts.
So during the regular season, the Celtics shot forty eight
threes per game, which was seven more than the second
highest volume three point team. They made seventeen point eight
per game, which is the most made threes per game
in NBA history. That's what the Celtics did do in
(34:07):
the regular season, wow against the Magic. In Round one,
Boston only attempted thirty one threes per game and made
a leven. So those numbers were way way way down
against Magic. But how the Magic did that is they
weren't overhelping on threes. They were playing one on one
defense and weren't extending their help and letting guys beat
them one on one. But they have the wing athletic
(34:29):
wing defenders to Guaratum and Brown like that. Straight up,
the Knicks, other than Michael Bridges and Ognoby, they don't
have that, so they can't really implement that. They're not
gonna be able to limit the threes. So it's just
there's there's no way where the Knicks are gonna be
able to limit the Celtics threes. I'll give you the stats,
right here, I'm looking over at my monitor here as
I as I filed this article. So, the Celtics drilled
(34:52):
twenty one threes per game on forty four percent shooting
in the four games against the Knicks this year. That's
up from their season average of seventeen may threes per
game on thirty six percent shoot That's how bad the
Knicks three point defense was in the regular season against
the Celtics, and there's no sign with the personnel that
they're putting out there that it's gonna get any better.
So again, if the Celtics are shooting close to forty
(35:13):
percent or even like thirty five percent from three, the
Knicks have no chance. The Knicks really need just have
to hope that they're gonna shoot like thirty twenty eight,
twenty nine percent.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
Sam, if I had to give you one underdog to
pick right now, Knicks, Nuggets, Pacers, Warriors, which one would
be your bet to wins?
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Oh, that's an easy one.
Speaker 6 (35:33):
I mean, the easy answer is the Pacers right now,
just because already up one.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
That's not where I'm going though.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
I know that I was. Yeah, I think you're right,
that is the easy answer. That wasn't where I was
going either.
Speaker 6 (35:43):
But go ahead, just because they're up one to zero
right now, and obviously with all the Cavs injury concerns.
But I'm saying the Warriors, like I just it's just
their championship, DNA, their experience. Like you got Jimmy Butler,
Draymond Green and Steph Curry. You're not going to find
a trio right now playing that has played more playoff
games and minutes than those three. And look, Steph, I
just talked about how beat up he got in that
(36:03):
last series. The Wolves aren't going to be able to
have that defensive physicality and that defensive presence on him.
So I could see Steph going off and really carrying
the Warriors to a series win here. And Draymond Green
is also he's a better small ball five than the
Rugat Chimori or Lebron James, who were the small ball
five that the Lakers played against the Wolves. So I
think there's a chance the Warriors can still win that series.
(36:26):
I'm not going to pick them, but that would be
that would be my answer to the Warriors.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
Yeah, that's where I was going to as well, And
you know they got that championship mentality. I don't want
to sleep on the Timberwolves, but there's definitely something about
when you have Jimmy and you have Staph playing at
the level that they are, knowing what Jimmy's capable of,
he still has it in his bag if he can
remain healthy. And then the edge that Draymond brings. And no,
(36:53):
by the way, coaching too, Like Steve Carr is a
damn good coach man. He knows what to say to
get the most out of his players exact same time
at the exact right time. So I just I feel
like the Warriors are that play, but but won't be
surprised if the t Wolves roll on. They have some
dogs right now, and we pointed out with the fact
(37:16):
that the rest that's an advantage. Oh, by the way,
you know where they're at as far as home court
is concerned. T Wolves like there are factors for Minnesota
to win this series, and I don't think it's a
bad play. Odds makers think that That's something that plays
in the back of my mind as well. So I
won't be surprised if Minnesota does get the job done.
(37:37):
But on the flip side of that, I won't be
surprised at Golden State Vansas.
Speaker 6 (37:40):
Yeah, Storriers, I think I think that series where I
was gonna bet any series to go seven, it would
be that one that's plus one ninety five right now,
So I think i'd be pretty confidence saying that series
ago and seven.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
All Right. The most excited about a series for Sam
austri which one is the one that has your attention
is the one we've already seen a game in or
out of these?
Speaker 2 (38:01):
Oh man, they're all so good, it's it's pretty tough.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
I'm excited to see Nick Celtics just because I really
think we're gonna find out a lot about how the
Knicks approach their future. And look, they're kind of locked
into this group, Like like when they made that Cat trade,
it wasn't like they have to win this year.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
This is the future of their team.
Speaker 6 (38:20):
But I think it's a huge series for mckel bridges
from a standpoint of did we make a mistake trading
five first round picks for this guy, especially especially when
Gianni's Ante Dokumpo is about to become on the market
and you would love those picks right now. And look,
there's still a package the Knicks could put together for Yiannis.
That would probably have to include mckel. I don't think
it'll be the best package, so I don't think it
(38:40):
would happen. But I'm interested in seeing how the Knicks
compete in battle against the Celtics group for how they
kind of see their future, because when they made the
mckel Bridges trade, it was for this series.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
In mind, it was to beat the Celtics.
Speaker 6 (38:54):
It was to get athletic wing defenders, two way guys
who can guard Jason Tatum and can guarde Aen Brown.
And so now we get to see this this series
actually take place. When they made that trade, it was
for this So I'm excited to see this series more
than any But look, all the series gonna be the
Warriors Wolves that we talked about is gonna be awesome.
We already saw the Pacers Calves one game man. That's
(39:15):
that We're seeing a lot of defensive physicality. Pacers Calves
is a high flying, high paced offensive approach, which is
kind of a dichotomy. It was another another big word.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
I guess that one.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
I had that one. Yeah, I figured you know when
I was when I was at Low's yesterday. Sorry, go
ahead finish your statement.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
No, I was, I'm done like that. That was that
is all these series are gonna be phenomenal.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
We'll give you that nice work. When I was at
Low's yesterday, I use the word sporadic, but my wife,
my wife said it didn't work because she said, what
you're aiming for a spontaneous sporadic? Though, let me ask
you word Smith's was the context? Was the context?
Speaker 2 (39:57):
You're sporadic today? Actually?
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Did you call her? Hang on one second call? We're
gonna get to you in a second, last call for
fifty dollars premo gift card, hanging on one second? I said, yesterday,
we're at Low's. She decides to throw this like last
minute job on me, right. Oh, it was to get
keys made. And I'm like, well, we're on this side
of the store. Well, you know, I had the entrance,
it was raining, I knew where I was parking. Now
we gotta go back there. And I said, you're throwing
(40:21):
these sporadic jobs at me. I'm not ready for him.
And she's like, that doesn't work. Yeah, she's right, Oh yeah,
she's right. Damn oh man, all right, well get on
there you go. All right. Sam Ostry's coming up on
the other side with Sean Bernard, Full hour, All Things
NBA Playoffs, Pick and Roll, Sam, great job. We'll continue

Speaker 3 (41:35):
Just love this guy, just loves last calls. Huh. There
you go, nice one on that one. I'll give you
the correct answer. Yeah, nice, very ex All right, you
know what, let's have some fun there, Beef, because you're
I want you to play. I want you to play.
I want you to play for this gift card. I'm
gonna ask a middle of the road trivia question. Name
(41:58):
the sport football NFL or college NFL. All right, I'm
gonna ask you a trivia question from the last ten
years for a chance to win. Oh the pressure is on, Beef.
(42:19):
Can you feel it?
Speaker 8 (42:22):
I can kill the prima loud you joing in my stomach?
Speaker 3 (42:25):
Oh yeah, all right, last ten years NFL trivia for
a premo gift card fifty dollars, Ryan Beef Coyle, here's
your question. Which NFL quarterback became the first in league
(42:45):
history to throw for fifty touchdowns and rush for ten
touchdowns in a single season. This happened in the last
ten years. Quarterback became the first in league history to
throw for fifty and rush for ten in a single season.
Named the quarterback Cam Newton, Beef fifty. You think Cam
(43:11):
through fifty in a season, Luke, what's the most Cam
Newton through for in a season? Come on, man, let's
find out. There's no way I needed to sniff fifty.
There's two quarterbacks speak that would come to your mind.
Come on, I'm gonna give you a wap wop on
that one.
Speaker 4 (43:29):
The most amount of touchdowns Cam Newton ever threw four
in a season was thirty five in two thousand and that's.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
A bad educated guest, Beef. Come on, man, there's two
quarterbacks that you automatically go to. Who are they?
Speaker 8 (43:41):
Homes fifty year?
Speaker 3 (43:43):
All right, so you got Mahomes would be one, and
then who's the other?
Speaker 8 (43:47):
Gosh Allen?
Speaker 3 (43:48):
No, Lamar, correct, Lamar is the answer.
Speaker 8 (43:52):
I wouldn't think Lamar for fifty and fifty combined.
Speaker 4 (43:59):
There's no way Lamar Jackson threw for fifty touchdowns in
one season.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Definitely read wait wait, wait, wait, wait, come on, hold
on time out, time out, time out.
Speaker 4 (44:14):
He didn't now the most heath through for the season
was last year forty one.
Speaker 3 (44:24):
Wrong one, wrong one one. I can't believe. I can't believe.
They just gave me the wrong answer, wrong question. See
you can't you can't trust Google. You can't trust Google.
I pulled it up on the fly and you just
don't know. See, bad job by me. I'll give it
to me. I'll give it to me. I'll give it
to me. Yeah, there you go. You know what, Beef.
(44:45):
Because of that, I'm just gonna give you the gift
car congratulations. See, you can't throw it into Google search
on the fly. And expect it to give you the
right answer. I have it in Running Me Boys. It's
right there it said which NFL quarterback became the first
league history he throw for fifty touchdowns and rush for
ten touchdowns a single season. Now, is that playoffs included?
Speaker 4 (45:10):
I still want to In twenty I was ready to
ask him a head coach in college football question, say
if you get that out.
Speaker 3 (45:17):
It's saying in twenty nineteen is the answer? So in
twenty nineteen playoffs? Playoffs? What did he do in playoffs?
Are the Titans they in twenty nineteen? That was the
year that they lost? No, give me postseason postseason hang,
(45:39):
I want to make sure that I want to see
if this is correct, because that pissed me off that
that is wrong. I can't believe that Google did me
a disservice like that postseason twenty nineteen passing. No, he
only threw four one. Yeah, that was the loss, all right?
Wanh wanh wan't want won't give it to me again?
(46:00):
Bad job. But hey, look, you know when I look
like a fool, you go home and win. A Ryan
beef Coyle and that's what it's all about. So a
fifty dollars gift card. You earned it a matter of fact, Beef,
great to have you on the show right here, because
we're going to introduce there's a new show coming up
(46:20):
with Ryan Beef, Coyle, Nick McClay, Luke rcaney. These guys
were doing a great job with bending the edge, all
things college football, all things getting you ready for the draft,
breaking it down day recap, and I said, I need
the boys to stay on the station even after it
was a great sound. Of course, McLay is just he's
a scientist with this, right. So Beef and I were talking,
(46:44):
I said, I just want a football show. I said,
Football is King. Boom, It's the name of the show.
Football is King. Football is King. Beef and McLay talking
all things college and NFL getting you ready for.
Speaker 4 (46:59):
The upcoming seasons. Football is King. How many days, Beef?
How many days till week zero college football? You got
a number for me?
Speaker 8 (47:08):
I think it's it's gotta be nearing one hundred.
Speaker 4 (47:11):
But we're getting there.
Speaker 3 (47:14):
We're getting there, all right, Beef. Well, great to have you, always,
good to talk to you. How was the weekend you had?
You had a date action?
Speaker 7 (47:23):
Huh yeah, Beef's fallen in love.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
Yea beach's pahone in love man. And you know what, Luke, Luke, Luke,
it's may bro, it's may. This ain't coffin season.
Speaker 4 (47:39):
Nah No, it's the opposite right now, what's going on?
Speaker 8 (47:45):
There's always a plan behind the scenes.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
Correct answer on that one. Nice nice work there, Beef,
all right? Love, yeah, hey, love is love. I'm not
here to second guess it. I mean I'm here to,
you know, hope that we can hold off until the fall.
But you know, look, man, different strokes are different pos.
We can't do it in fall because then it's football season.
I'm bringing girlfriend, yes, no, yes, no. The sand to
(48:17):
the beach is a thing for a reason. The winter
is the season. Winter is the shirt.
Speaker 8 (48:24):
There you go, all right, the watch college basketball every
Saturday during the winter. There is no there's no season.
Speaker 3 (48:31):
That's fair. That's fair. That's why you're riding beef coil.
Great job. We'll be live on Wednesday night, Beef at night.
And of course football is king kicking off tomorrow right
here on the Gambler. Anything else you want to get
off your chest, Beef, just.
Speaker 8 (48:45):
Have a good day, fellas, and probably going home now
and going to sleep five day bender.
Speaker 3 (48:51):
As a matter of fact, on my way in, I
think I saw your sister still celebrating her twenty first birthday.
I'm I'm pretty sure I saw a caravan walking down mainstream.
Many just people celebrate. I think that twenty first birthday
is still going good.
Speaker 8 (49:05):
As it should. It runs in the family.
Speaker 3 (49:06):
I like that. All right, beefap front tailgate. I'll be
DJing that's coming our way June fourteenth, taking on the
Blue Jays. Might even have some primos there. You never know,
there we go, all right, there is them, heck the boys.
You never know what you're gonna get. Hey, Louke, great
job across the board man, Nice job filling into or
sitting in full show today as we always do on
(49:28):
a Monday, getting us caught up on out things. Phillies
day off, so that's nice. Everything is podcast at foxpho
Gambler dot com. We opened up the show talking about
the Phillies Big takeaways from the weekend. We didn't get
your top three items from Major League Baseball that don't
include the Phillies, So give me the number one on
that list, number one, number one, number one.
Speaker 4 (49:51):
So I did have a few the Royals Orioles game
was crazy. I don't know if you saw that eleven
home runs for that game the Cubs, I would say
right now, the Cubs pitching staff, that that's kind of.
Speaker 3 (50:07):
Been where I'm at. They're starting to get beat up
the Cubs.
Speaker 4 (50:13):
Obviously they lost Justin Steele for the whole season before
the season show. Tomnaga just got placed on the fifteen day.
I l that's a team right now where they are
sort of I think slightly overperforming from from what I
really think they are. But that pitching staff, for me,
(50:34):
is continuing to get a little worse and worse as
the days go on. So I think that that's gonna
need to be something they figure out. But yeah, that
that's I would say, that's really the big one for
you right now. As I'm firing hate dude, I had
another one hate text a chat.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
I remember, Hey, I got one for you. I am
firing hate text to check GBTA. Yeah because of the
question that got wrong for me right and I'm like, dude,
you got that wrong. Come on, and it's like you're
one of them. It says, uh, oh, now I see
what you meant. Thanks for clarifying.
Speaker 8 (51:13):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (51:13):
Then says, you're one hundred percent right, and I appreciate
you pointing out, pointing out, keeping me to a high standard. Dude,
I'm on the air, like you can't get this stuff wrong.
Chat GBT, come on, and it's fair enough. Let's get
this right, plane and simple. So I got another question.
But I can't trust it. I can't trust it on
the fly. Never mind again, you know you can trust
(51:36):
right now, real quick. This was my biggest point. But
hobber bias. Hobber bias. Do you remember that guy?
Speaker 8 (51:44):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (51:44):
I know, he's basically a laughing stock for the last
four years of baseball. Sure, sure, he's top ten in
baseball in war right now, he's he's hitting three h
nine eight twenty nine ops, fourteen RBIs already this year
twenty nine hits. His OPS plus are now one hundred
and thirty seven. He has cleared that once in his
(52:04):
entire career, and it was twenty twenty one with the Mets,
and that was not even a full season. A guy
that I thought was dead in the water just hasn't
shown anything four or five years in the league, really
starting to pull it around for this Tigers team, who's
now nine games over five hundred, leading the American League Central. Yeah,
and actually caught me by surprise, John, did you know
(52:29):
that the Detroit Tigers have the highest run differential in.
Speaker 3 (52:32):
All of baseball? That's insane.
Speaker 4 (52:34):
Over over the Yankees, over the Cubs, over the Dodgers.
Speaker 3 (52:40):
Over the Mets.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
They have the highest run differential at plus sixty three.
Right now, that's a darn good baseball out there in Detroit.
And it's a big portion of that is because they're
getting continued contributions from Torque, from Riley Green, but real
Javier Bias are now that that has been a guy
for them that they needed to get hot for a while.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
And he finally, what about Dylan Dingler. What a great
name that is Angler. Yeah, that's a good one. That's
a good remember friend, Matt Vierling. Yes, yeah, yeah, There's
not too many Detroit Tiger players that I could pull
out of my keyster, but that is a good teach
and well a Torque I had, I did have that one.
And I will say this much. They're not a fluke.
(53:22):
No they're not.
Speaker 4 (53:23):
They showed last year and last year that they were
the twenty twenty two Philly last year.
Speaker 3 (53:29):
Yep, but they are a good baseball team. All right,
they are a good baseball team. Well, you're good at
what you do, covering all things baseball, crossing broad right
here on the Gambler, Luke Arcaney, fantastic job once again
hanging with us today here on a Monday. Before we
get out of here, quick quick housekeeping note from the weekend.
