Speaker 3 (00:40):
Pride of Seneca High School, South Jersey, Anna Yanessa Yanni
sings so Yannie. She's gone by as a singer there,
crushed it on American Idol, got that golden ticket. Unfortunately,
did not take the competition home, but got another chance
performing at the NFL Draft all weekend. So got a
nice little dancing with Travis Hunter. She's been crushing it
for a while, so pretty cool to see her getting
a little shine and cool to bring it.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yeah, and I was having some fun with her. Hopefully
she didn't take offense to it. But I haven't watched
American Idol in forever, and I was like, is Simon
Cowell on the show?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
What about Paula? And I know they haven't been there,
but I could not tell you who the judges were,
And the judges are really important in those like the
Voice American Idol, America's got talent, it's always about the judge.
And I know the talent's the talent, but it comes
back to those judges. So Carrie Underwood as a judge,

(01:31):
and she actually sang a song to her Carrie Underwood
song to her that got her the ticket to go
to Hollywood. Pretty cool stuff there, which was I've been
waiting all day for Sunday Night.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah. I went pretty viral all over the place too
of her singing that. So pretty cool to see that
making its social media waves and she did a good
job on it. So I also have not been active
in watching American Idol in a long time, but did
tune in for the season to check season twenty three.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah. Yeah, Look, if I had a high school you know, classmates,
i'd be sumportant as well too, So that's pretty cool.
A lot of write ups about her and she is
u Yanni the band is that the name of the band?

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Yes, they do tour the.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Jersey shore, so of course summertime you're gonna see her
all over the bars. Pretty cool stuff, very very like fun,
bubbly personality. Yeah, nothing but a bright future for her,
that's for damn sure. And her band looked pretty good
too it as well, So that's a nice work by
the NFL getting her involved. As far as the draft
is concerned, how much of the draft did you watch?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
It was a second TV event for me, so I
kind of had it on the whole time, but wasn't
very locked in.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I mean this NBA playoffs.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
The draft didn't hit me this year really. Yeah, I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
It drags, man, Like it's it's so long and and
like there's so much just talking And this year it
was just Shador Sanders. Watch was the entire draft. So
this year felt a little different to me. And I
was curious because of the kind of angle here. But yeah,
it's too slow paced for me to be is all
in it?

Speaker 4 (02:56):
It used to be.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, and look I normally am I'm all draft up
and I've said this. I'm on record from the beginning,
the Eagles won the Super Bowl and that changed everything
my approach for this upcoming draft, this year's draft, and
I was intrigued by the top ten picks, top twenty picks.
After that, I'm like, man, I watched a ton of
college football and I didn't even know half those people.

(03:18):
I was like, I don't know. I wasn't really paying attention,
wasn't locked in to an NFL draft. And I go
to our guys that are gurus when it comes to
you know, Mark Cary Junior and Nick McClay, Ryan beef Cooy, like,
you know, if I got a question, they're going to
answer it. And other than that, like I'll watch it
was good. It was, but you're right. The NBA Playoffs
was front and center, and then I had the draft
going off to the side, and of course we had
our watch party, which was great. But Shador Sanders watch

(03:41):
was interesting. Now. I want to bring that up, not
because of Shador Sanders himself and fall into a fit
round selection, but there was a a prank phone call
that you might have heard about, and the NFL fined
the Atlanta Falcons, and I believe the head coach now
he took over for the New York Jets when they
fired their coach. Sala, there you go, Jeff Olbrich. I

(04:07):
want to say, is how you pronounce his name? He
is now the Atlanta Falcons defense coordinator. It's all right,
bounce around. Things went well for you up there in
New York. Let's bring him down here. As a matter
of fact, it all went south as far as the
defense is concerned, once they got rid of solid time.
But all right, he's now the defense coiner for the
Alanta Falcons. So how do you make a name for yourself? Well,

(04:28):
your son goes in and pulls Schador Sander's private phone
number and decides to prank them. And then that's not all.
Let's post it on social media. Dude, what is going
on with these people? Twenty one years old and that's
how you operate. I'm not gonna assess that family and
the issues that might be there, you know, the old

(04:50):
man not home whatever, baby, But I do know this,
I'm gonna have to leave his iPad open. Yeah, twenty
one year old son admitted to the prank call, and
he apologized. Two Shito or Sanders. Okay, cool, We're done. Nope,
not so fast. The NFL fined the Atlanta Falcons two
hundred and fifty thousand dollars. That's not all Ulbrich himself

(05:13):
one hundred grand for the prank. Call I feel bad
for the Sun. I would't go to ask that I do.
I don't like the Sun is is is cooked? How
do you one hundred grand? Like what you cost me
one hundred? This family on your grand dude, I don't

(05:35):
even think i'd be able to sit down. My old
man would whoop my ass.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
I think my parents reaction when I break like a
hundred dollar item or something around the house, think about
one hundred thousand dollars is insane.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
What do you do if you're the Sun or if
you're the dad? The dad?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
I mean, like, for a start, is it's incredibly stupid
by this kid. And you see the moment in the
video where it clicks in his head when they're acording him.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Was he was the kid on the couch, the one
that walked off the screen.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
I believe he wasn't the one that actually called it.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, right, But you see the moment of like, uh oh,
he's like, this isn't that hard to trace? Man?

Speaker 4 (06:11):
It's not? And I like I don't know. I think
it's steep.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
I think it's over the top from a fine perspective,
I think, like everything in this there's the reactions are
way too strong on both ends of the spectrum here
he shouldn't have done it. It isn't like a scumbag
move like that is that guy's moment and wish it
are specifically, we just saw him sliding, Like, regardless of
how you feel about him, this is a tough time
for the dude of him expected to be off the
board of the first round and we're talking him being

(06:35):
a fifth round selection.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
I think this happened in the third or.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Fourth that this call was made, so it's tough, like
it was a messed up thing to do.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
I don't know how you handle this like moving forward.
It's just all around brutal. And by the way, it
was not the only prank call. There were a couple
other talk it's.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Been years, Cooper Dejen got pranked, Kyle McCord talking, Yeah,
Kyle McCord. They all get pranked, every one of them
get pranked over the past few years.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
We still do that people, but it's.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Terrible, it's absolutely terrible. But if I'm that kid, I
first of all, like, yeah, I would disappear. That's clear.
That sticks to you forever. Oh he's done, Yeah, he's done.
And but I'm telling you from the standpoint of like
my old man is going to murder me. He doesn't
look like some guy that I would mess with anyways.

(07:23):
Now I'm taking a hundred girl out of his pocket. Yeah,
I'm telling you I would just disappear. I would. I'd
be like, I gotta go find myself. I would tell
mom and Dad you're not gonna hear from me for
another two months, and then we'll cool heads fail hopefully. Yeah,
you cost me a hundred grand? How much does he
make as a defensive coordinator?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
And that has to be a big chunk, like a
huge Yeah. I can't imagine. I mean, the whole thing
is insane to me. That's so much money and to
be in I don't know if I can think of
a time where it's been like an individual.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Fine.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
I guess this is a unique circumstance, but typically we
hear all the time of a team finder an organization.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Fine.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
The fact that this is a direct one hundred thousand
dollars coming out of Jeff Olbrick's bank account. There is
kind of absurd here, so I he should not have
done it. It's got to fall in the kid. But
insane stuff.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
According to Front Office Sports, one point six million per year. Wow,
he's one of the top ten highest paid defense coordinators
in the league.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
It'd be nice, man, it'd be nice to make that
kind of coin.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
And then your son twenty one years old cost you
one hundred grand. Yeah, that I'm throwing him out of
And now from the dad's perspective, I'm simply telling him
get out of my house, like I don't want to
see you because I'm fearful of what I would do
to you, Like twenty one years old.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yeah, I hope for the kid's sake, he's at college.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Right now, twenty one years old. That's that's a different world, true,
That's that's not eighteen. That's not a senior in high school.
That's not a freshman in college.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
You should know better than.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But I am in agreement
with you that that seems a little over the top
from a fine perspective.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
All right, well, but I also think it's a message,
like I think the NFL is being clear like in
should orders case specific here, and I would assume there's
a lot of draft picks that go the same route.
That phone was specifically for getting a call for being drafted.
That was only the select NFL teams had access to
that with Shador spoke about it openly there, so like
if you're I mean, the kid just has to know

(09:15):
better at the end of the day. But everyone's got
to be a little bit careful of this information. And
like in the times we live in now, like the
internet works so quickly. I think this is a message
from the NFL for sure.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Oh yeah, definitely about that. But guess what, the brank
calls are still going to continue. Yeah, no, you're right,
that's all all right. Let's go ahead and keep it moving.
And we'll say Belichick for another day, because I have
I have a feeling that that story isn't going anywhere
anytime soon. But you know, twenty four year old running
things down there for unc athletics is not what I

(09:46):
thought would be taking place when Bill, like Bill Belichick
never said a word. We're on the Cincinnati for decades
of how he handled the media, and then now all
of a sudden, this twenty four year old girl, Like
we were just talking about twenty one year old, twenty
four year old. She might seem wise and all that,
but man like, come on.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
What can they possibly talk about when it's just those
two hang out on?

Speaker 4 (10:11):
What could they possibly have conversations.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
About whatever she wants to talk about? Apparently, Yeah, I
guess I don't think Bill has much to say about
this at all.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
What are your thoughts on cover two, sweetie?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yeah, exactly, And she might have an answer for that.
I saw the video a couple of weeks ago when
they were at the spring game and she was in
the end zone with her first coat, and it was
just like I got shivers, just like, wow, that doesn't
seem like it's all fun. And then next thing, you know,
this comes out and then the whole like, oh, we're
not here to talk about that, like, and she's over
there in the corner, and there was just a statement

(10:44):
release go look at it for yourself, which, oh, by
the way, says it said Bill Belichick relates that he
didn't release this. This was written by her, you know it,
and that's all whatever. Hopefully they're happy with that being said.
I want to be happy tonight. We got two games
in the NBA playoffs. To discuss here Sea Manard, let's
go ahead and dive deep into him and see if
we can find some winners. We got the Rockets and

(11:05):
Warriors four point spread two oh four is our total
in that one. That's our first one at seven thirty
five taking place in Houston, and then at ten oh
five Lakers and Tea Wolves five and a half points
spread two oh nine and a half is our total.
There are the dogs barking in either one of these games.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
I don't think so tonight. I am backing both favorites.
Houston I think almost exclusively falls on how Jalen Green plays.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
That they've been so close in this series.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
This has been a battle, and we finally got sort
of the blood bath. Ejections flagrant, so everything we're talking,
I guess no ejections in the last game, but you know,
the physical what we expected from the series is what
went down in Game four. I think Houston is gonna
meet that same energy with the home crowd behind him,
and I am back backing Jalen Green to snap out
of it a little bit. They need him to step up,
and from a player prop perspective, his point brop has

(11:52):
now dropped to fifteen and a half. Here, He's average
twenty point eight over the regular season. When you look
at his stats in this series, he's been held under
ten points in three of the four games. The one
game that he has not, he exploded for thirty eight
and non coincidentally, the Rockets took him a win. I
do think that he They make it a point to
get him involved early. They make it a point to
give him opportunities and get on the right track, and

(12:12):
I think that's what happens tonight.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Yeah. You know, when we were discussing the pistons and Knicks,
the first thing that goes to my mind is like,
these games have all been relatively the same. Right, the
Rockets in that game one were terrible. They think they
finished with eighty three eighty four points. Yeah, other than that,
majority of the games have been pretty much the same

(12:35):
way that we you know, that played out the same way.
I'm looking at tonight's game and I'm just wondering, Okay,
Like I want to believe in the Houston, I just
don't think that they're going I don't think that they
have the championship mentality that Golden State possesses. And there
for Golden State, it's gonna find a way to win.
This game could happen.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Like I'm I don't feel this isn't a passionate I'm
one hundred percent certain of it.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
But I do like the Jalen Green outlook here.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Like I this is a big moment for him, Like
I do think how he performs in this game will
pretty directly impact like his future with the Rockets. They're
gonna have some hard decisions to make, and looking at
some of the alternates, you can get him for twenty
points for plus one seventy, I think that's worth taking tonight, Like.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Jalen Green plus one seventy over twenty points correct, that
is a good play.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Yeah, I like that number a lot. They need him man,
and he has to prove it. I do give Shan
Gun a ton of credit by the way he basically
carried that offense for the entire stretch of the fourth
quarter in the last game. There really isn't an answer
for his size when looking at that Golden State team,
Draymond's gonna be the guy, and obviously he got to
stop when it mattered most there, but there's just some
raw size advantage that Shanhun Has and he really showed

(13:36):
me some stuff on the perimeter, so I don't mind
going back to well for him. His numbers increased to
twenty two and a half. I still think that's worth
taking because again I love the matchup from it. But
Jalen Green's my favorite prop angle in this game.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
All right, I'm gonna be firing up DraftKings sportsbook right here,
and I'm taking a look at that number. I think
he sold me on that one. What type of Shenanigans
are we gonna see? Dylan Brooks, Yeah, Jimmy Butler, is
it gonna be you know, hot and bothered out there
at mid court? Draymond getting thrown out of tonight's game? Finally,
we're what can we expect in tonight's game?

Speaker 3 (14:07):
I do like Draymond would be my pick of those.
I think they stay away from Jimmy. I think there's
a little bit of a lesson. There should at least
be a lesson learned from what went down last week.
And as if you have not picked up on this
throughout the duration of his career, Jimmy made a crystal
clear post game that when I get riled up, that's
what's gonna happen. I'm gonna show out, and he did
when push came to show it was Jimmy Butler being
the difference maker for that Warriors team. I would hope

(14:29):
Dylan Brooks has enough common sense to maybe poke a
different bear in this game, and Draymond's a bear that
does not take much to poke. I think that's probably
how things go down. They try and make it a
point to get Draymond ejected, and you know he should
have been last game as well, So that's sort of
my expectation. It's shocking to me that we haven't seen
an injection yet in this series. It feels like it's
got to happen tonight, and I think it's Draymond all right.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
So that's our first game as far as the NBA
playoffs tonight are concerned. Second one, ten oh five PM
t Wolves and Lakers here five and a half, Lakers
are favored in la Ant's been the best player in
the series. I think we discussed yesterday. Starting five, we'd
almost give the nod to the t Wolves a little

(15:12):
bit more than the Lakers. Five and a half too strong,
and you like the Lakers to win tonight. But five
and a half. I do like the Lakers to win.
I would be comfortable in the five and a half
in favor of the Timberwolves. I think this is gonna
be a down to the Wired game. I am very
excited to see how JJ Reddick responds here. He's rightfully
drawn a lot of criticism for that decision to play

(15:32):
that entire five man unit the whole second half.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
If you're gonna just roll with those guys, I.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Don't get the appeal of even playing Jackson Hayes, who
played four minutes in the previous game. I wouldn't shock
me if there's a complete starting lineup overhaul. But the
fact of the matter is, you just can't expect forty
year old Lebron James and Luka Doncic pretty much tending
to enter any circumstance to play a second half straight through.
If they looked out of gas at the end, and
that was the difference in this game, you got to
adjust accordingly. So Reddick, to his credit, has done that

(15:58):
throughout the season. Is he's made it justments on the fly,
He's learned from his mistakes. I do expect that to
happen tonight. I don't think Luka Donington, Lebron James go
down without a fight. So I do like them to
get the win next in the series, even though I
don't think they're crawling back out of the three one hole,
all right.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
And when I look at the Lakers and I say,
you know, can they do a little bit more from
Lebron's perspective, Like, that's where it has to be for me,
because I think Luca can go off and I fully
expect Luca to do what Luca has been able to
do throughout the course of his Laker tenure. But Lebron

(16:33):
has been a little bit fatigued. He's been a little bit,
you know, a sluggish at times. And I don't think
that's unfair to say. And then look, it's not a
shot either. It's just he's set the bar so high.
But here we are, now, we got to find a
way to win this game. What can we expect from
Lebron here?

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Yeah, averaging the most points per game and an NBA
history and elimination games, Lebron James does it over thirty
three points per game. There his point brop set is
twenty six and a half. For this matchup, I would
be comfortable laying that that I do think that he's
going to give us a little bit of a reminder
that he's still Lebron James and playing at a very
high level. I also don't hate the Austin Reeves angle here.
There's been a ton on the shoulders of Luka, Dncic

(17:10):
and Lebron James. That's been one of the biggest selling
points that Reddick continually expresses is when you have those
three guys on the court, Reeves is a lot of
times going to get their third worst defender. Now, when
looking at this Minnesota team, there isn't as steep a
drop off as there is on a lot of other teams,
but I do think that they will look to exploit that.
So I like the over nineteen and a half in
favor of Austin Reeves from a point prop perspective as
well also from the Timberwolves direction. I'm going back to

(17:33):
well with Julius Randall that I think he's been so
physically imposing and goes toe to toe eye to eye
with both Lebron and Luca from a physicality and size standpoint,
and I think he's the type of player that wears
on you throughout a series. Man, it gets tiresome when
you're just banging bodies with a guy as big as
Julius Randall is as physically commanding as he is, so
I would lean the complete combos in that direction. His

(17:54):
number for Julius Randall, specifically for the over under for points,
rebounds and assists is sitting at thirty one and a half.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
I do like that number as well.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
All right, once again DraftKings sportsbook where we're get all
of our numbers from five and a half is our number.
There are two oh nine and a half is our
total ten oh five PM. We got NBA Playoff Action
man front and center. Of course, two games tomorrow would
be really good too as well between Nicks and Pistons,
Nuggets and Clippers there, but tonight could be one two

(18:24):
three can coon for the Lake Show or the Rockets
if they don't find a way to win a game.
Sham Bandarle likes both favorites here. I am with you
on Jalen Green, Jayalen Green as far as twenty plus
love that prop from the Golden State, Houston Angle, Minnesota
and Lakers where we're looking for a prop there.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Yeah, like the Reeves over nineteen and a half for
kind of the same reasons that I laid out that
I do think there's a ton on the shoulders of
Don Chic and Lebron that JJ Reddick goes a little
different direction there. And for Randall specifically, I know I
talked about the combos already.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
The over thirty one and a half combined.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
The rebounding number is particularly appealing to me, and where
that's leaning at is six and a half for Randall.
I think he slams that, to be honest, and you
can get a little bit better value. Eight plus at
plus one twenty is worth taking a swing nine plus.
You can get plus two h five for Randall from
a rebounding department. I kind of think they cut Rudy
Gobert's minutes a little bit in this game.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
He's one for ten on layup attempts in the playoffs
so far.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Rudy Gobert probably the worst like hands that you can
ever imagine in a professional basketball player. He's such a
bizarre like just incredibly elite at the things he's good at,
but so limited in what those skills are. So I
think Randall might play a little bit more five, particularly
if the Lakers continue to just eliminate Jackson Hayes from
the rotation.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
All right, Well, the NBA Playoffs front and center for
us here. We do have other things going on in
the sports world. We would close up shop on the
other side once again, five o'clock. More NBA playoff discussion
coming your way, Sam Ostin myself full picks and Roll
coming your way, talking all things NBA Playoffs for tonight
and of course looking forward to our first round or

(19:54):
second round matchups that we potentially could have. But we
do have one already on DraftKings Sportsbook of Veil, and
that is the Calves and the Pacers. So a big
discussion about that coming away at five o'clock, six o'clock
swinging and ding it and then more NFL Draft conversation
with Nick McLay and Ryan beef Cooyle at seven pm.
It's the daily ticket Chambre Schamynard more off to this
