Speaker 2 (00:08):
The gambling.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Popped him up, bout Territory first base side, the former
Philly Reese Hoskins reaches up, makes the catch, and the
Brewers have broken out the brooms in the City.

Speaker 2 (00:56):

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Warrors win it two, the City of brotherly Love, break
up the brooms.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Good afternoon, everybody daily, take it with you here. As
the Brewer's announcer just vomiting all over the microphone. It's
essentially what we were all doing watching that game on Saturday.
A little bit more so on Sunday. Ah, what a
bad weekend for the Fightings yuck now losing a four straight,

(01:30):
of course, that last one against the Braves, three against
the Brewers. Get themselves a nice day off here before
taking on the Blue Jays. Luke Arcane would be joining
me shortly from crossing broad dot Com. Will break it
down a little bit more in detail and what exactly
took place this weekend and why the Phillies decided to
play terrible baseball and why they forgot to forgot how

(01:54):
to hit fielding was atrocious that and then we will
get into everything from the Phillies perspective. Oh, by the way,
the moves that have been made tiwe walker into the
pen able coming up, really excited about that. I think
that is a good move, a proactive move, something that is.
I don't know if that's going to light a fire

(02:16):
per se, but definitely something different. Here we are on
June the second, and my goodness, is gorgeous outside, absolutely gorgeous,
beautiful day. Finally in the Delaware Valley we get some sun.
Ah Lord, thank you, and it's welcomed, that's for damn sure,
because we got nothing of a rain last week. This

(02:38):
weekend was a little tough, little cloudy on Saturday. Sunday
yesterday looked lovely, was lovely. And today I got some
friends that are playing in some golf outings today and
they are in for retreats. But there we start, of
course with the Phillies and what we saw this week,
and on Saturday it just got away from them and
Reese Hoskins just goes y'are two times in that game.

(03:01):
Heck of a weekend by Reese. I know he went
over four yesterday, but a nice return for the former
first basement here and it's always funny, you know, we
give him the round of a pause. Great to see
Reese's fun times having you here. And then, oh, by
the way, as you heard, he was getting booed, and

(03:21):
you know he's had some fun with that with the
media after the game in Game two where he went
yard two times and had six harbyis in that game,
he said, you know, that's always the mark of something
positive when the opposing fan base boos you. But again,
I was not expecting this Brewer's team to be able
to do what they did. And I guess it starts

(03:45):
and ends with the fact that Bryce Harper wasn't in
a lineup. I know that that might seem like a
little bit of an excuse, sure, but he is a
big piece to the puzzle and I would have felt
a little bit better about Bryce being in the lineup.
And I was surprised, as matter of fact, when Luke
Arcany joined us on Friday Live from Citizens Bank Park
and said that Bryce Harper would not be in the

(04:06):
lineup and don't expect to see him all week and long.
Damn it, Luke, you were right now I don't think
we were talking about that they were going to be
in jeopardy of being swept by the brew Crew without
Harper there. But man, what an ugly weekend of baseball
at the Bank. And I just got to ask, how
did it get away from him so fast? Did it
come down strictly to the fact that Bryce Harper, their leader,

(04:28):
wasn't in the lineup? Was it the fact that, you know,
all of a sudden, they're just making terrible plays out
in the field. What happened this weekend against the Brewers
in your mind?

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Yeah, it was just a sloppy weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah, And it's not like Bryce Harper's having you know,
some big, crazy MVP like season to start the year.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
But people don't understand, like, if you don't.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
See Harper's name in the lineup, it automatically could feel
easier for the other team no matter how he's playing
at that moment.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
But I think as far as the lineup, you know,
the lineup just.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Gets pretty thin when you don't have Harper.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
I mean, you have Sworem up at the top with.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Turner, but I mean other than that, you're forced to
hit Alec Bohm third, right now, who while he's had.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
A pretty good last month.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Not many people are scared of of of of alec
boone this year hitting third rather than Harper, So I mean,
I think that's one thing. I think the second thing
is it was just really sloppy. And yes, there were
some I think situations that I don't think we'll see
that much for the rest of the year. I don't
think we're gonna see Jesus Zardo give up twelve and

(05:39):
runs in a start for the rest of the year
and if he and if he does, we probably have
some issues. And yeah, I mean Saturday was was just
I don't know, I don't have much to say about that.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Really bad seventeen to one at one point, but yeah,
I mean, so it was. It was just an ugly weekend.
Ugly weekend. This was a much needed day off for them,
I think.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
But now they have the winnable games this week, right,
they go off to Toronto like they did, actually shuffle
the rotation around a little bit.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Zach Wheeler and his wife.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Are expecting their child like any day now, so he
won't pitch in Toronto, so it'll be Christopher Sanchez tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Mick Abel will go on Wednesday, instead.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Of Thursday, and then Hayes Sozarro will get a revenge
start in the series finale on Thursday in Toronto.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Your thoughts of Abel comes out there and pitches like
he did in that one start, you know, I'll beat
against the pirates. He's been pretty good in the minor
leagues as well. Your thoughts of Abel continues to show
flashes of of dominance. Is there a chance that they
say you know what, thanks and then it's on to
the next or do you think he could find himself

(06:54):
with a spot in this rotation moving forward? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:58):
So when we talked around Thompson on on Uh, I
guess that was Sunday. What what he basically made it
seem like to us was, this isn't just another spot start, Nick.
Abel's gonna be here at least until Aaron Nola comes back.
Aaron Nola through a bullpen on Sunday. I believe they
said he's gonna need to do a live VP before

(07:21):
they send him on a rehab start, So that'll probably
be another three days till he throws a live VP,
and he probably won't throw a rehab start till.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Five days after that.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
So I mean you're looking for probably about two weeks
at least until you see Nola again.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
So listen, I mean.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
That probably frees up at least another start other than
Wednesdays in Toronto.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
For able, they're rewarding him for his.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Comeback and and his year that he's had so far
in Triple A. He is an e RA under one
in his last five starts. That's with his MLB debut
in it. He's just been pitching the ball really well.
His his issues in the past that has made him
struggle aren't aren't there anymore.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
He's not walking guys nearly as much as he used to.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
That's really always been the big issue with him. So
it seems like the Phillies are gonna give him a chance.
They're gonna give him a few starts here, so I
guess that would line him up.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
So if he's pitching Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
In Toronto, I guess that would maybe set him up
for the series finale in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Then that's my guess it would.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
It would either be the series finale in Pittsburgh or
the opening game Monday, June ninth against the Cups. But yeah, no,
this isn't just like a spot start like his first one.
From what we've heard from from Ralph Thompson, he's going
to be up here at least until Aaron Nola comes.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Back talking to Luke Carcandy. Of course, the Phillies topic
the discussion to start here on a Monday, especially after
losing a four straight, No panic at all. Again, people
just need to go ahead and look at what the
standings all are. They're thirty six and twenty three, even
after losing four straight, five and five in their last ten.

(09:05):
But it is a fun conversation to have because you're
looking at the top of the division with the New
York Mets, who are winners of eighth straight. Have played
well against teams with winning records. One of those teams
happened to me to the Dodgers when they took to
a three at home at City Field. Now on the
road in La Dodgers just took two of three against
the Yankees. They're playing really well, but dealing with some

(09:27):
fair share of injuries also, But it will be interesting
to see what happens in that four game set. Not
a lot of baseball on the card this evening, I
think only seven eight games. That's definitely one that has
my attention. Staying though, of course with the Phillies here
and what is the latest with Bryce Harper? And again
is it just we're on to the next it's one

(09:47):
sixty two. Everybody take a deep breath, and he got
himself a nice little breather there this weekend. He'll be
back in the mix in Toronto.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Yeah, so obviously did not play it all this weekend.
Rob Thompson said Sunday after the game that he did
swing and throw at like full sort of capacity.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
During the game on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Unless some crazy thing happens, I'm expecting him to be
back in the lineup on Tuesday. He made it seem
like Harper will be back for the series opener in Toronto,
So yeah, no real.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Worry there for Harper. The Phillies dodged the bullet because
it seems like that hit almost like his funny bone. Yeah,
that's kind of what he almost made it seem like.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
And you know, that could have been an elbow broken
or something a lot worse.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
So the Phillies dodged a bullet there.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
They could have lost them for a few months, and
they lost them for only a few games.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
All right, You know where everybody's what everybody's saying right now.
Of course, when you go up a team, go up
against the team like the Brewers, who could be in
the playoffs and they're winning seven straight, and of course
you know we go against the Braves. I know they
had success against the Braves. That's had their number, the
winning team conversation. And this team, I know John Clark

(11:05):
put out a tweet that started up a little bit.
I think they're ten and eighteen versus teams with winning records.
I just say it's all about the schedule in front
of them, and this Blue Jays team is a pretty
good team. So I think this is gonna be an
interesting test. Anytime you get in that AL East Division,
it always hits me a little bit different. What are
you saying about this series upcoming north of the border.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Yeah, no, it should be a good one.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
We'll see, we'll see the old friend Jeff Hoffmin out there.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Nice.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
It should be a good one.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
They're not necessarily playing the best baseball Toronto, but they're
not having a bad year.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
I think the biggest question.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
With Toronto is, you know, the next how they play
the next two months.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
They're thirty one and twenty eight, they're five and a
half back of the Yankees.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Right now, they are a game or a half a
game out of a wildcard spot, So the next two
months is going to determine a lot for their future.
And it's and it's kind of funny to say that,
but if they fall out of a playoff spot, there's
probably a good chance that they're gonna look to trade
Bobachet at the trade deadline. Seems like he's had some

(12:12):
some iffiness in the past about re signing there. He's
about to be on his on his expiring deal. I
think that's something to look out for with Toronto for
the next two months.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Yeah, I mean it should be a good one. Obviously.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Last year, the last time the Phillies went to Toronto, Kyle
Schwarber hit three home runs in one game. So hoping
maybe we can get another one of those or at
least something like that this this upcoming series. But no,
this this should be a nice little stretch here. Ideally,
you know, you win four of the next six against
Toronto and the Pirates, and.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Then you come home to a really good Chicago.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Cubs team that people tend to forget. We already took
two or three from.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
Them, as well.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
I like a lot of people using this record against
winning teams. But at the same time, the Phillies have
also beat the Dodgers, the Cubs, the the Diamondbacks, Braves,
all these teams in series this year, So I think
that argument kind of has to go both ways sometimes.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
But you know, if if the.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Sky falls after four games, there's no there's no other
side to the argument there.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yeah, you're right about that, all right. We will, of
course catch up tomorrow. We'll preview up the three game
series against the Blue Jays quickly though. Around the horn
when it comes to the league, anything you're taking from
that Yankees Dodgers series. You know, we had a blowout
in Game two. Yankees bounce back and got the victory
last night. Judge and O'tani went back, you know, to

(13:37):
open up a game. First time in Major League Baseball
history that reigning MVPs homered in the same inning, I believe,
in the same game, if I'm not mistaken to as well.
Just really cool for the state of the game as
far as baseball is concerned. Unfortunate that it started at
ten o'clock Saturday, was a little bit better, if I'm
not mistaken, None of Yees. Saturday was a seven o'clock start,
so a little bit better. But still, you know anything

(14:00):
you're taking from that series between those two titans of
the teams.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
Yeah, no, that was a fun one to watch.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
I mean, obviously, like you said, the one game was
a blowout. It's actually funny the Phillies lost seventeen to
seven on Saturday and they didn't have the worst.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Loss of the day, So that was that was nice
to see.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
But yeah, I mean, just just two really good teams
going at it. Yeah, it's I mean, it's it's it's
great for baseball when the Dodgers and the Yankees are
up there at the best teams. So watching that go
down in La obviously that first inning, like you said
with with with Shoe Hay and Judge, I mean I
could I've I've run out of words for at least
regular season, Aaron Judge, because the dude hitting around four

(14:41):
hundred right now, and then you go and look down
the Dodgers and show Tony's obviously their number one option.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
But then you go look at it like Freddie Freeman,
who's hitting like three fifty this year.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
It's just two really good teams going at it so
other than Saturday.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
Yeah, it was a fun weekend out there in La Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
And then last but not least unfortunate news out of Arizona.
Corbyn Burns looks like he is going for an MRI
and it did not look good. So my big picture
question to you right now is can the Orioles pitch
that back to the naysayers? And I know they've been brutal,
but for everybody that was losing their mind, could they

(15:20):
now say, well, did we get it right by not
resigning birds?

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Yeah? Maybe they can.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
I'll tell you what that is a team that's going
to be trading for pitching at the end of July,
the Diamondbacks, because they've they've got a they've got a
sweet line up out there in Arizona.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
They've they've had a nice year at the plate.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
I will say that this this deadline is is very
pitcher heavy rather than that heavy.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
So they're gonna have some options.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
I will say one of them that's really come to mind,
and I think one that people are gonna have to
hope you get a bounce back of Sandy outcons Are
in Miami has had a really rough year.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
But I think some people are going to try and.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Hopefully hope that you get the previous one out of
Sandy and not this year Sandy.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
All right, last one, Luke, because I know you're a
big golfer. We had some blowouts on the course and
off the course yesterday.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Scottie Chef, Well, you say that, I'm actually I'm actually
on the guy.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
I can yeah, I can tell, I can tell. Dwin's buzzing.
How you hitting him?

Speaker 4 (16:27):
We are about to tee off and two minutes.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
I appreciate you happening to it. Your thoughts on Scotty
shefferd plus two eighty damn it?

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Yeah, I mean, this is the best golfer we've seen
since Tiger Woods.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
It's not even close.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
The dude, the freak Ben Griffin went eagle birdie on
fifteen sixteen yesterday to get him four shots back.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
After going three under in two holes.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
So that kind of shows you exactly what Scotty schefflers.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
I mean, he's a freak. He's probably gonna win the
US Open. I will certainly be betting it no matter
what the number is.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
The dude just an absolute what are you gonna shoot today? Ah?

Speaker 4 (17:04):
The gold seventy nine? I will report I will report
back after and I will let you know that's a flex.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Enjoy, have a great day. Gaddy live on a course.
He's like, I got ten. I'm like, you bet your
eyes I need ten. They got swept. We got to
open up the show talking about this, and I don't
want to open up going nuts about you know, this
team's missing this, or it's June. You know, like we

(17:31):
constantly constantly refer to the calendar when we talk about
this baseball team when they do lose games. But it's
the it's the realistic point of view. And I'm not,
you know, the sky's falling type of guy. I know
you can get that in plenty of spaces and in
airwaves that you want to find it. That's not what
you're gonna hear here. I think this team has an

(17:52):
embarrassment of riches at pitching. They need to figure that out.
I expect Nola to bounce back and return to Nola
form a guy that you can count on, a guy
that was a solid number two starter. I think mckabel
is the real deal. I also think Painter is the
real deal. I'd like to see that both of those
guys is able as coming up right now because of
what the Wheeler's going through with his wife. She looks

(18:13):
lovely too. I just want to say, my wife looked
absolutely gorgeous when she was pregnant. She's like, I tell
you what, there's some people out there that, you know,
some freaks out there that I like that sort of thing.
I just you know, the woman is concentrated. I leave
her alone. But she looked lovely. Wheeler's wife. They put
out an Instagram post where he's dancing. My wife and
I weren't doing that. God bless them. But hopefully they

(18:36):
have themselves say another healthy baby. I think they've had
a couple. If I'm not mistaken. She looked good in
that picture. She's just about to give birth to another child. Crazy,
absolutely crazy.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
What women do.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Unbelievable, how strong they are. I'd like to say that
they're superheroes, but then they don't want to hear that though.
They're just average people. But man, it's crazy what women,
what women do when it comes to giving birth. All right,
let's go ahead and take a quick left turnt. We
got a lot going on. We will continue talking all
things a Major League baseball front and center and with

(19:07):
a little bit of a focus on the fightings with
the dude who is about as electric as it gets.
Colby Marshio is going to be joining us, and he
is taking the timeline by storm. He is all over
the place talking major League baseball and it's great, man.
It's great to see. He's been doing it for a

(19:27):
long time. So I'm not gonna sit here and say
he's a newbie or anything like that, but for some
he is. And it's great to have baseball have a
personality like that that is getting the juices going, having
some fun on the timeline, not taking himself too seriously.
And Kolbe was on the show a couple of weeks ago.
Could not wait to get him back on the show.
As I said, he is continuing to crush it. I

(19:47):
think he was booked a number of times this week
and I saw him a couple of different outlets, and
our good friend Stephanie Smalls just having him on her
show on Wednesday, So shout out Colby. He's going to
drop by at four o'clock on the Gambler stream. So
a lot more baseball coming your way. And maybe we
couldn't even get a couple winning plays out of Colby.
I don't know if the Mariners are in action. Let

(20:08):
me pull up that card because I know he's been
betting the Seattle Mariner specifically, this guy a lot.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
It's swagging crush right field, it's on its way.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Good bomb.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
Cal Rolly does it again.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
He is unbelievable, the hard run leader in baseball, strike second.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Cal Ray going deep. Yeah, that surprised me. Twenty three bombs.
Twenty three bombs by the Seattle Mariners catcher. And if
you're not paying attention and you didn't just hear that,
you wouldn't know that he is now leading a major
league baseball more home runs in Showy, more home runs
than Schworbs, more home runs than Judge. Pretty crazy stuff

(20:51):
up there in Seattle. And of course that's how it's
going to be, is we pull up the standings. Because
I was pretty heavy on the the Seattle Mariners last year.
I was pumping them up pretty good last year and
it didn't really work out. But this year, thirty two
and twenty six on top of the West currently right now,
Astros though Mark every Junior gotta give him credit on

(21:13):
that one, because I was trying to pour dirt on
them with all the changes that they went through not
so fast, thirty two and twenty seven. Rangers. De Gram
just pitched. He's not the de Gram of old where
he can mow you down and get double digit strikeouts.
But man, he's still got some movements, still got some zip.
But to get six strikeouts yesterday, got the job done.

(21:34):
Rangers just to tick under five hundred.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
There.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
The Detroit Tigers, though, if you haven't been paying attention,
the best record in baseball with thirty nine wins, thirty
nine and twenty one. As I said, more Major League
Baseball conversation coming up with Colby at four o'clock. He's
going to bring the juice. He's going to bring the energy,
all right. With that being said, that Judge of Otani

(21:57):
stuff was great. I you know, we talked about it
a little bit. I did a show with Dick Girardi
on Saturday, The Great dig Girardi, And it's just a
shame that And I don't know what it is, but
things have changed. Our viewing habits have changed, our you know,
our sports that we like more have changed. I don't

(22:17):
know if it's the fact that we're like I have
no idea what is going into this, but Otani versus Judge.
Judge versus Otani should have had a Sosa m maguire feel,
it really should have. And then what do they do
in the first inning? They go yard in the game

(22:38):
one on Friday night. So for anybody that was staying
up to ten ten first pitch, what do you do
you open up with this, there's pitching on a high
fly ball centerfield and dack centerfield and just giving up
on it. Every baby's way, god, parent, Judge and the
Aggies have a one nothing lad and then oh, yeah,

(23:00):
you can do I can do better. Bottom of the
first show, a into his wind up, Dixon deals first
pitch swinging hit in the air well the left center field.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Did you so, hey, Oltani, Ty's in and a.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Ba It's crazy, you know, like you get those two
type of superstars. And look, I know we have been
in these in this conversation before when it came to
Mike Trout, but I think we could even sit here
and say right here, right now that as great as

(23:34):
Mike Trout was, Otani is going to be a better player.
And I know I get it with what Trout's doing
now in his health of years, but like, try and
hit the rewind button. Put yourself in those years when
Mike Trout was just a top dog and crushing the baseball, stealing,
playing great outfield, not winning games, but still and Otani

(23:57):
as great as he is been from day one, and
judge what he continues to do through a new contract
with the Yankees, Like we could be watching the best
left handing left handed hitter in Major League Baseball history
and shoey Otani and Aaron judge, the numbers are just stupid.
Could potentially be the best right handed hitter in baseball's history.

(24:21):
It's just crazy. It's crazy, And I just felt like
that game needed a little bit more fanfare. I don't know,
Maybe I'm just barking up the wrong tree. Maybe baseball
is kind of falling down a little bit as far
as the pecking order is concerned for people in the timeline.
And that's always the caveat, Like how are we judging this?
The fact that people aren't tweeting about it. I'm using

(24:44):
less and less of Twitter these days. Hell, the only
reason why I'm on Twitter is to see Colby go nuts.
That's about it. I kid, it's a great place to
catch information for all things sports, But I'm even sliding
out of the X game more so on Instagram these
days and Instagram threads. As the kids say. Anyways, if

(25:04):
you watched that weekend series, you have any takes from
all things Major League Baseball at Fox PHL Gabler at
Fox PHL Gabler love to get you involved. Great stuff
from Luke will get him involved tomorrow and we got
a jam pack week of shows coming your way. Actually
I'm off on Friday, so Monday through Thursday jam packed

(25:25):
four days of shows here on The Daily Ticket Live three, two,
six pm. On today's show, As I said, Colby's gonna
join me at four o'clock, five o'clock over to the
NBA with Sam Ostry talking about the Knicks losing to
the Indiana Pacers. We'll get a day out of that.
I know, I know the Pacers. Pacers won, So the
focus needs to be Onion in Pacers. A good friend.

(25:45):
Mark Drumheller chimed in earlier today, He's like, hey, man, hey,
then Nicks did, and when the Pacers won, talk about
the Pacers and he's having fun with them. But it's
the reality of the situations, the truth of the matter,
right and now you you almost look at at what
took place in New York and it's fun to assess
what didn't go right versus Okay, now let's talk about

(26:08):
the NBA Finals, the preview with the Pacers and the
OCLA Cidic thunder. Here's what I would say. Game one
is until Thursday, so we'll have some fun with the
New York Knicks on the other side. And I just
I don't know when New York Knicks fans all of
a sudden closed their eyes and then woke up and
in front of them was the you know, the Bulls

(26:31):
of the nineties, the Lakers and Celtics of the eighties,
the Warriors with Steph and his prime. I didn't know
that the Knicks have Lebron James playing from you know,
his rookie season and then like the Knicks had a
great season, had a fun season. But now what took
place is not good enough. And there's people talking about

(26:54):
firing Tom Thibodeaux and saying that he cannot take them
to the Promised Land to where they want to get.
Like hold up, man, calm down, said a hell of
a run, And as Thibs said, you made it to
the final three once We're gonna have some fun with that. Look,
there's a whole line of discussion to get into as
far as the Knicks are concerned. They ended up losing

(27:16):
the Eastern Conference Finals. As we said on Saturday, Pacers
was an easy, easy winner in there. Cashed it a
lot in that series, and we got one game wrong
as far as spread was concerned between the Pacers and
the Knicks. So hopefully we can keep some of that
mojoke going into the NBA Finals. Let's go ahead and
dip our toe into the finals water. But again, assessing

(27:36):
what exactly went wrong with the New York Knicks and
what they can do moving forward. Is it as simple
as getting ready rid of Carl Anthony Towns for Kevin Durant,
Because I ain't buying that. Sorry, come on, man, we
were talking about Kevin Durant like he's in his prime
as well. Carl Anthony Towns balled out. I know, I know.
I think that there's something the Knicks could do, and

(27:57):
it has nothing to do with just hitting the reset
button and getting rid of everybody not named Jalen Brunson.
I'll give you my way of going about it. As
far as the offseason, is concerned and Tom Thibodeau is
staying as the head coach for the New York Knicks.
Let's start there. But anyways, we'll go hit on that.
On the other side, a lot to do daily. Take
it on a Monday. More after this
