Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Super Bowl celebration never ends. Coming to you live
from the Philly Show in Oaks, PA. This is the
daily ticket with Sean brace.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yeah, let's bring it on in and a good afternoon, everybody.
We are live here in Oaks, PA, with our fingers
crossed that we are able to sound good, look good,
feel good, play good. And now Sam, you can bring

(00:34):
that audio down if we are good there on that one, sir.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I believe.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah, all right, I mean we were just connecting buttons
where rubbed sticks together.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
We're trying to get signals here. This is a magic
you know.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Sometimes you gotta crawl through the pipe filled with you
know what to get out to the wide opening. Uh
you know from of course, uh the great movie shot
right exactly. Sometimes you gotta deal with it. Anyways, we
are live in a good afternoon everybody. The Philly Show.
It's back and it's better than ever because I'll tell
you what. We are rolling out the red carpet for

(01:11):
all things Philadelphia Eagles and then some we'll get into
a little bit of the list and who's gonna.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Be here all week and long. We got a lot
to discuss.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
We're gonna be joined by a couple of collectors that
are being running around here. Our friends, the young, the
young lads are ready to go. Who you got, Who
you got? Who you trying to get? Pokin Nakula? All right,
what about the Jeon Hurtsy Cooper?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Nice boys, you are not on TV. You're on radio though.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Nice Tell mom you said, say hi mom? All right,
nice work, beautiful, We are love. We got Roy Burton,
Luke Arcaney, I am Sean Brace. This is Fox Sports Radio,
the Gambler now putting the Grimlins in the system to
the side because I think we do sound good. Uh,
let's get to it. And of course the Big Store.

(02:00):
As far as in the sports world, gentlemen, last night
we are all witnesses. Yet again, here we are the
man continues to defy all odds and it is insane
to be able to watch Lebron James at this age
continue to just light it up and lead his team
to victory. Oh, by the way, while cursing out Stephen A.
Smith during the government, I think that that needs to

(02:21):
be front and center.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
He brought it all last night.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
And of course you got Luka, Doncic and the rest
of the Lakers finding a way to win a game there,
and a really good effort by the New York Knicks.
And you know, as much as I want to take
away from the Lakers and I think they're the story,
they are the number one story in all of sports.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Jalen Brunson, we talked about this on Monday Roy as
far as drafting players for the upcoming playoff run, who
would you take? Jalen Brunson is just an absolute dog
out there.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Oh, He's an absolute dog.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
And it was so bad to see him go down
with that ankle injury at the end of that game
because Jalen Brunson is just an absolute fantastic as we
saw as Sixers fans. You can see what Jaylen Brunson
does in the playoffs, you know, you know when he
when he has a ball in his hands as much
as he does. But Lebron James, I mean, like, I
don't want to be the prisoner of the moment and say,
Lebron James, you know, is the MVP of.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
The season this year. Yeah, but we need.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
To start having it putting him in that conversation. Obviously,
you know, Shay and Yoki are going to be one
and two in that voting. But Lebron's right there at
this age is unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
What he's doing.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
I was gonna say, how old Shay, how old Jokic,
And then you look at Lebron. Yeah, man, he's been
say man, it feels like every night you just oh,
Lebron this, and then he goes out and drops thirty
one eleven and they're twelve and eight last night in
forty four minutes at forty years old. I don't I
don't know if he's ever going to take a step

(03:42):
back because every time it feels like he does it,
he just goes out and drops a thirty point bomb
in overtime and wins.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Yeah, what a game last night.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
And you know, I know that there's some people out
there that continue to bang the drum that the Lakers
are here to save the NBA.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
And I'm not going to go that far.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
To me, You're talking about March in February, and I
don't care what the year is, it's always going to
be a little bit down when it comes to the
NBA during those two months and then some because then
you get into the first week of April and it's like, really,
not only are you wagering on something that you have
no idea how it's gonna play out, but we're watching it,
and look, the Lakers are a great story.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
We know what the kaream of the crop is.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
And when these these professional leagues, whether you're talking about
the Yankees in Major League Baseball, the Cowboys in the NFL,
the Lakers are that team, and the NBA is better,
it's a better product when the Lakers are good. And
of course with Lebron James out there doing what he's doing,
like that's front and center, and I you know, if
somebody like Kendrick Perkins wants to come out and say

(04:43):
that the Lakers are saving the season, I think that's
a little bit too far. But I'm not going to
say that he's denying or he's lying about this, because
there are a lot of other people that are watching
these games at eleven midnight, twelve thirty last night on
the East Coast simply because it's the Lake and Lebron James.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
So you are diametrically opposed, I imagine to what Charles
Barkley was saying, Basically, we need to talk more about Cleveland,
we need to talk more about Oka. See, we need
to talk more about Denver as opposed to talking about
the Lakers talking about the big market teams.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Well, look, I think there's levels to it, as always right,
and here we are, as I said, most importantly, it's
March seventh, Like we will have plenty of time to
talk about the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have won thirteen straight games.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
I believe you know, we will have.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Plenty of time to talk about the Denver Nuggets, who
I don't think they're a better team than the LA Lakers,
And if there's a seven game series between those two teams,
I sure as hell am not doubting Lebron James at
this point in time, not with Luke on the team.
He's fantastic. Luca is incredible out there. And you know,
for all the people that wanted to make a big deal,
specifically Nico Harrison about the deficiencies on defense, he is

(05:50):
beyond beyond dominant on the offensive side of the ball.
They're like, how could you even think about moving somebody
like that because he struggles via defense and he likes
to have a couple of beers smoke a hookah. Everyone
unbelievable that he is now with the Lakers. No, look,
I think there are plenty of There will be plenty
of time to have those conversations. SGA, Oklahoma City, can

(06:10):
they get it done? He's going to win the MVP.
But tell me I'm wrong about this, And tell you
Kendrick Perkins, you're wrong about this. The number one story
in sports it's the LA Lakers. No, I can't tell
you you're wrong.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
I'm just saying, like, you know, there are people who said,
like again, Charles Barkley says, when you just talk start
talking about, you know, the Cleveland Cavaliers more because people
are saying, we don't talk about the right things. You know,
when we talk about the NBA, we either dog them
on a product or we talk about the things. They
kind of get the viewers like every time you turn
on you know those talking head shows. Yeah, it's always
the Lakers, right, It's always the Lakers. It's always the Celtics,
it's always the Knicks. It's always those big market teams.

(06:43):
They should be those big market teams. When Lebron at
forty years old is like Luke said, is going out
there and putting down thirty two to twelve and eight,
we should be talking about.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Lebron number one.

Speaker 6 (06:50):
It's also just the Lakers too, like they're always gonna
have the coverage. But then when one of the worst
trades in the history the NBA happens and the Lakers
are at the advantage, they're obviously going to be even
more in the spotlight. And yeah, they're the number two seed,
they're not gonna get up to the number one seed,
but like they're like, there is a very good chance
that they make a nice run in the playoffs with

(07:10):
how they look. I mean, they're nineteen games over five
hundred they I mean, they're twenty five and seven at
home this year.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
They're they're just playing unbelievable basketball.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
I'm sorry, Luka Doncic and Lebron James doing what they've
done or kudos to JJ Reddeck eighteen and three over
the last twenty one games. Those two guys and that
coach doing what they've done is way more impressive and
way more you know, talk worthy than whatever.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Darius.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
Sorry apologize that Cleveland Cavaliers fantastic team Kenny Atkins is
gonna win Coach.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
Of the Year, But the Lakers in the story, Yeah,
I mean I would rather watch guys like Lebron and
Luca than watch Darius Garland, and that's no shot in
the calves, Like, who would I rather watch this this
team with arguably the best player of all time, who
just added Luka Doncic, Right, would I rather watch the
Cleveland Cavaliers?

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Like it's it's not really an option for me.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Insane game last night. If you were up watching it,
what was your big takeaway? First and foremost, it is
about the Lakers, as I said, front and center. Get
involved in the conversation at Fox PHL Gambler at Fox
PHL Gambler. Second thing for me was, of course, the
point spread chopped down to about three right around tips.
Some shops had it at two and a half. Again,
it was floating around three and a half for the

(08:21):
majority of the show yesterday, from three to six. And
you know, I just didn't think the Lakers were gonna
lose that game. Nicks had a good lead in the
third quarter, fourth quarter. It was just like laying in
the weeds. You felt like the Lakers were going to
find a win a game. But in the back of
your mind, the point spread flukiness three points.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
They could win by two, win by a bucket, whatever
it may be.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
And then it goes to overtime and road dogs die
in overtime. And it's exactly how it played out last night.
One thirteen to one oh nine was your final score.
There were twenty four total points scored in overtime. And man,
out tell you what from the Knicks perspective, Jalen Brunson

(09:03):
to me, just what an absolute monster on that team.
And if I know that they're getting some better production
from players at this point in time, like Bridges will
have a game every now and then, og it play
has played well in the last week.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Yeah, he hasn't been playing well up until that point.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Karl Anthony Towns, though, you know you were brought in
to do a little bit more than twelve points three
of thirteen when you're talking about.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Let's first game back. He was out for a couple
of games.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Yes, but wait, wait, wait wait, you play eighty two,
you take off twenty all right. I know he had
the situation with his family of somebody from the family,
but come on, man, the lights are shining bright, we're
all watching, and you give me twelve points three of thirteen.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
As a team that doesn't have a center like Jackson
Hayes is starting at center for the Lakers. I mean,
if Anthony Davis was still there, then okay, I can
I can give you that, But yeah, I guess Jackson Hayes,
you need to go twenty two and twelve.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Do you think that the Knicks are looking at what
they gave up for Bridges as a mistake at this
point in time?

Speaker 5 (10:00):
I still don't think they figured out how to incorporate
him in the offense, if that makes sense. I mean,
because Brunton is the guy, right, Brunston is like the
key to that offense, you know, like you know, Cat
plays outside, you know, he can stretch it for a
little bit. I just don't know, like between him and
between Ananobi and those other guys, they're all just kind
of I mean, they're good players, but they all just
kind of like haven't found the right role with that team.

(10:20):
So I don't think they regret it, but I think
they hit you know, they have a month to figure
to figure this out, because if they're gonna play like this,
don't get smoked by Cleveland in the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 6 (10:29):
I think they're also kind of looking back at that trade,
and no matter how Bridges is playing from the jump,
I don't care how he played in New York. He
is not worth five first round picks. No, so, especially
with how he's been playing. So I don't think they're
loving that trade.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
I don't. I mean, I don't truly think they ever
loved it.

Speaker 6 (10:47):
And because I mean, I don't care what you tell me,
Michael Bridges is not worth five first round picks.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
It's just, well, look, you're talking about a team that
went and made a run last year.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
What they did.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
They have a lot going in their family, there's no
doubt about it. They do have points production, and then
they add Karl Anthony Towns, so you think you're gonna
get a little bit more from.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
That side of thing. Like this team is still forty
and twenty two whatever.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
They are.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Basketball team. Yeah, so they have things going in the
right direction.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
But when we're talking, as I said earlier levels to this,
there's no way I could talk myself into the when anything.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
In Eastern.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
Uh Celtics and the Cavs, and I don't think the
Knicks are going to beat either of those teams.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
As they haven't all season long.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
All right, again, get involved in the conversation f Fox
PHL Gambler. When you talk about the Knicks Brunton that
he is their offense finished with thirty nine thirty nine.
I'm thirty nine and one for seven from three as well.
If I had to draft an all playoff team for
this upcoming playoff runs, he would be my PG all

(11:54):
day over Luca.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
I'm siding Lucas somewhere. If Luca get ready to play
the four, Luca like six.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
You know, as a little you can pick a little
small forward linebacker.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Look, I'm taking the five best available. All right, all right,
just a positionless league, there it is. It's a positionless league.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
It always has is Lebron on that list. Lebron's got
the base. Okay, So here's the five. Here's here's the five.
I know I'm gonna slight somebody because Gianni would be
he needs to be on that list. Yes, but here's
here's where I would go. I would go Joker, Luca.
I'm having s g A, I'm having Lebron and I

(12:36):
got brunching.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
No One, No one from the calves.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
They're fifty. No one from the cas. No one from
the caves, nobody from the set. I love Donovan, Mitchell.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Jason Tatum.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Take someone off Jaylen Brown. I'm just saying, no, Jaylen Brown,
take someone off.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
I mean, you make a good point, Okay, t argument
to argue those those guys. But I mean, if you
have Jason Tatum and you have the finals m v
P not on your five, they might have to be
a spotful one of those guys.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
All right, again, we are broadcasting live here having some fun.
We're gonna be here all evening long and then some
over the weekend at Fox Pho Gambler, get involved with
the conversation. It's the Philly Show. Let's go ahead and
bring this up. You can check out what they have

sorts of cool collectors gear. We're talking helmets, we're talking jerseys,
We're talking cards.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Shoes, Pokemon stuff. The list goes on.

(13:58):
It was really cool out there in the red carpet.
We got Kids Night going off two times this weekend.
We'll talk a little bit more about what that's all about.
But again, phillyshow dot com, give it a go, give
it a good read, and then you'll be able to
see who's who and what's what when it comes to
the autograph signings that are coming our way, and of

(14:18):

Speaker 4 (14:22):
That's right, sounds good?

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Oh yeah, it does. Do you guys know we won
the Super Bowl?

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Absolutely, this is going off tonight. So tonight we got
Tristan McCollum, We got Nolan Smith Junior com and we
got the Axe Man, Jeremiah Trotter Junior, and the Old Man,
Old Nic and the Old Man. It's one of my
favorite stories. One time I did a show with the
Axe Man. I was I was behind the scenes doing
a little bit of everything just to get my foot
in the door, and all of a sudden, there was like,

(14:47):
you know, the show would end and people would line
up to get an autograph from Jeremiah Trotter.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
And it's just post post playing days.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
This dude brought an axe that was literally the size
of like the firefighters.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
That they used.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Throws it down like you know, in this day and age,
you don't know who's who and what's what. But he
just throws it on the table. Jeremiah signed it, took
a picture of him. This thing had to weigh like
fifty pounds.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
It was.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
It was a big, big, big acts. We got DeVonta
Smith in the house this evening. He'll be in from
five thirty seven. I believe it. Jalen and DeVante both
sold out, Yes they are. Both of them are sold out.
I believe A. J.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Brown might be sold out tomorrow as well.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Tyler Steen, Paris Campbell, Darren Sprolls will be in the
back in the back signing autographs. Big Dom's gonna be
in the house, Coach Siriani's gonna be here. Jeff Stoutland uh.
And then the list goes on, keeps.

Speaker 6 (15:38):
Going that Friday, that is just Friday, Mikerow Tomorrow Marrow.
We get into some heavy hitters as well. Mike Mike
Schmidt Nakobe Dean, Jake Elliott, Cam Jurgens, Nick Foles, Steve Carlton,
AJ Brown, Jordan Davis. I mean this list, cj BG, Quinnyon,
Oh my god, hear Milton Williams, Josh Gilly, Gilly.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Game Well slay the Mastermind.

Speaker 6 (16:06):
Howie Rosen will be here tomorrow, Cooper, I mean this,
this is this is unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Practically like over half the roster. If you couldn't meet
any one of those guys who would be going to
choose from, I would love I would love them. Bet Howie. Yeah,
it's Howie for me. I think Howie.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
I did hear that they said Jalen hurts uh yesterday
when he was They said they were with him for
a little bit yesterday and it seemed like they were
walking around with the president. That's how much security that
he has with him right now. Yeah, I feel like
it would have to be Howie for me. Though he's
kind of a big deal.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
He is a big deal. He has a big deal.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
So that's coming your way once you get Philly Show
dot Com for all of the details. What we're going
to is going to take quick time out back, make
sure everything is ready to go. We're broadcasting live. You
got Roy Burton, you got Luke Carcanny. I'm Sean Brace.
This is The Gambler live from the Philly Show in Oaks, BA.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
More after this talking autographs and collectibles live from the
Philly Show. You're listening to the Daily Ticket right here
on the Gambler.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Yes, indeed it is Fox Sports rated The Gambler. I
am Sean Brace. The Gambler Gang is in attendance. We
got Luke Rcaney and Roy Burton. We're running three wide
to open up shop live from the Philly Show in Oaks, PA. Yes,
back again. What a place, Roy, your first.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
Time for my first time? You know, what are you?

Speaker 2 (17:28):
What are your thoughts? Originally like the opening thoughts on
the Philly Show.

Speaker 5 (17:31):
No, when I heard that you guys were coming back
after your your first time those here, I told you,
I said, you know, I got to be part of this.
I gotta kind of feel the energy. I got to
get the excitement. Just got back in the car collecting
a couple of months ago, did you.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (17:42):
So now I want to kind of make my way
around here during the commercial breaks and see what all
everybody has offered.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
There's a ton of stuff here for pretty folks to
check out.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Luke, your first time at the Philly Show, No second time,
that's fine.

Speaker 6 (17:52):
Was here the last time with Chef and Powers. We
ripped so many cars, we got some packs, We bought
so much money worth a baseball cards, and I don't
think we got one good card. But it's more about
the journey. Yeah, so I did purchase one card last time.
I bought an Ada Miller rookie card. So that is
the one I'm holding on to forever and hopefully Ada

(18:16):
Miller will be worth millions one day.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
All right, Once again, we are here all weekend long,
and so is the Philly Show. Of course, what we
would be doing without them phillyshow dot com for everything
you need, details and more. Of course, the autograph timings,
all that can be found at phillyshow dot com. All right,
let's try and roll the dice here as we got
Sam Austry back at the studio.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Sam, could you join us for a second year? What's
going on? Guys? How we doing there?

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Is?

Speaker 6 (18:45):
Is?

Speaker 3 (18:46):
All right?

Speaker 2 (18:47):
So Sam is joining us back at the studio. Of course,
Sam is a NBA die hard, so I know he
was watching last night's game. Your big takeaway from that
awesome game between the Lakers and the Knicks was what Sam.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
It was really a perfect encapsulation of the direction that
each team is trended. The Lakers obviously eight and two
since they got Luka Doncic, and you saw that last night,
Luca and Lebron combined for sixty three points. The rest
of the starters combined for eighteen. And that's that's what
you saw in that game, where those two guys they
would everyone knew they would immediately click, or I should

(19:21):
say most people knew. Most people who who watched the
NBA knew those two guys would immediately click because they're
such high IQ players. They both can excel on the
ball off the ball. So that's what happened. You saw greatness,
two of the all time greats playing playing together. And
you see you saw that last night against the Knicks,
against the team in New York who's trending in the

(19:42):
wrong direction, who was zero to nine against the Lakers,
the Cavs, the Celtics, and the Thunder.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
They even beat any of those four teams.

Speaker 6 (19:49):
This is a team other than Jalen Brunson and Karl
Anthony Towns that has not looked very good for most
of the season against the best competition, which really eliminates
them from championship contention. So I thought that was obviously
a awesome game, overtime game. We hope Jaylen Brunson's okay,
it sounds like it's just an ankle spring, so it
shouldn't be too serious.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
It shouldn't be.

Speaker 6 (20:07):
But this is that was a game that where each
team is trending, and you sold the direction each team
was trending.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
It all right, Yeah we got powers hitting buns. I
don't know who was hitting butts. I'm like, yo, what's
going on here? We're all over the place. We're not
used to this, but that's all right, nice work. Yeah, look,
you know, the team, as far as with Lakers are
currently constructed, this team I definitely could see getting over
the hump and and and winning it all. But it

(20:32):
is a little bit of a prisoner of the moment
take at this point in time. Right Like, we got
to see what they look like against Oklahoma City, we
got to see what they look like when Denver gets
their licked back, and and hopefully that they play a
little bit better than like they did at home. But
you're right now, man, I think the Lakers could very
well get this, uh get a championship this year, and
it's just crazy to even think about that.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
Well, it's their defense that's doing it, which is the
craziest part because you don't expect the team with Lebron,
Luca Austin, Reeves all consider defensive liabilities. You don't expect
a team like that to be the best defense in league,
which is what they've been over the last fifteen games,
the number one defense in the entire NBA. They just
held the Knicks, who one of the best offensive starting
fives in the league. Historically, they're up there with one

(21:15):
of the best offensive starting fives. They held that Knicks
group completely healthy last night until late in that overtime period.
They held them to under one hundred points in regulation.
They scored another ten in overtime, but under one hundred
points in regulation. You never see teams be held under
one hundred points in the NBA during regulation, especially not
the Knicks, who are one of the best offensive starting

(21:35):
fives in the league. So it's really their defense with
Jackson Hayes, who's been more impressive than I could have
ever imagined. I thought he's not a starting five. I
barely thought he was a backup five in this league.
But it's been the Lakers defense, and cred all the
credit in the world to ja jur Reddick, who never
was a defender as a player. Every Sixers fan knows that,
but somehow it has the Lakers playing the best defense
in league.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
One thirteen to one oh nine finals score last night.
Luca finished with thirty two twelve and seven. Jalen Brunson
did get hurt. We'll see what happens as far as
that is concerned. He's probably gonna miss a significant amount
of time.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
That was a.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Brutal ankle role and that I feel even that's even
taking a little making it light saying it's an ankle
roll that I thought he was gonna snap his ankle
on that one. That's how bad it was. Uh, one
thirteen one oh nine was your final score?

Speaker 4 (22:21):
All right?

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Great stuff from Sam back at the studio. We didn't
bring up the Sixers.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
On one second before you move on.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
I hate to be that prisoner on the moment guy,
But LA Lakers plus five hundred to win the Western Conference.
I don't hate it. No, I don't hate that number. Sam,
I'm gonna help what you think about the LOOT.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
I think it's a good number, and it's only gone
down from two three days ago, and it only continues
to go down because look, when you have the four
teams that could potentially win it all in the West,
West is tough.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Yeah, West is tough.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
And you know, like, I'm not gonna doubt the championship
mentality from Steph and the Golden State Warriors with Butler,
I'm not going to doubt the championship mentality with Luke,
with with the Nuggets, Joker, I'm not going to doubt
the championship mentality with with Lebron and the Lakers. And
of course, okay, see they have probably the best team
and as far as all combined, they.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
Have the best team.

Speaker 6 (23:15):
But I think it's also that they're the one team
that you said, the championship mindset, that that is the
one team that hasn't really you know, had the experience.
It's a young team, so yeah, they're fifty one and
eleven in the regular season, but if they match up
against a team like the Lakers, or they have to
play some games in Golden State.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
In June, like, it's different.

Speaker 6 (23:38):
I don't know, man, It's it's a lot easier to
verse them in the regular season than it is Lebron
or Steph in May, June, April. So like that for
me is where Yeah, they're fifty one and eleven, Sam,
But I think there's some some looks you might have
to look at, Like you said, Royal Lakers, maybe a

(23:59):
plus five.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah, that's the one knock on the thunder.

Speaker 6 (24:02):
Luke is strictly they're inexperience because but they also lost
last year to the MAVs, and you, like, you have
to go through playoff scars. If you have zero experience
as a playoff team, you've no chance of winning the championship.
But they went through those playoff scors last year when
they lost to the MAVs, So that's some experience. It's
obviously not the experience to the extent that Luca, Lebron,
Steph and some of those other guys you named have,

(24:24):
but it's still some scorers that they went through.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
But I just I like the Lakers are a popular play.

Speaker 6 (24:29):
I was reading today that sportsbooks are rooting hard against
the Lakers because everyone from Luca trade, but especially since
how much success they've had with Luca. Everyone is hammering
the Lakers and that's why that number keeps coming down
and down, and it set plus five hundred. Like you said, Roy,
but I don't really see a way that the Thunder
don't make the finals. I think they have a pretty

(24:49):
easy path in the West, just because the front court
duo of chet Holmgrim and Isaiah Hartenstein. I don't I
think the Lakers do not have the personnel to match that.
With Jackson Hayes, you might have to play Alex Lends
some they'd like to go small with Ruy Hachamoury at
the five and Dorian Finney Smith at the four. I
just don't think they have the personnel to match the
thunders front court, and the Thunders have so much depth.

(25:10):
We know what Shay can do. Jalen Williams is going
to be key. I don't see a path where the
Thunder don't come out of the West. But if you're
if you're looking at another option, the Blakers are certainly right now.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
I agree with that great stuff from Sam.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Back at the studio and we are broadcasting live from
the Philly Show here in Oaks, PA. Sean Brace, luc Arkany,
Roy Burton running three wide live for you on a stage.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
They rolled out the stage for us pretty tall.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
No, none of us, none of us signed a contract
for five years for one hundred million dollars.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
But you know they are treating us very nicely right here,
that's for sure.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
Today.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
Your thoughts on when Lebron confronted him, that's for sure, Yeah,
exactly that.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
Roy, your thoughts as far as Stephen A and and
Lebron during the game walking over there.

Speaker 5 (25:59):
You know the thing that you know they tell you,
they teach you in journalism school, or one of the
first things they should teach you is don't say anything,
especially sports journalism. Don't say anything that you wouldn't say
to someone's face.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
All right, that's it.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
And if you're gonna be Steven A and if you're
gonna go on your various platforms and say certain things,
make sure you don't have to cash that check one day.
And he found out that he had to catch that
check when he was talking about Lebron James Sun Brownie James,
because Lebron came to him after the game and had
some choice words for him. So kudos to Lebron for
first stand in my business. But again, like you have
to be very careful about what you say because you
might need to catch that check.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
At some point.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
Yeah, it looked like he was getting a little ugly
there last year.

Speaker 6 (26:34):
It was it was about it was about to get
pretty a little ugly last year.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
Yeah, yeah, that's it, like Lebron. Lebron's a professional, so
you know he's not gonna take it to that level.
But it really could If it was anyone else in
the league, it probably could have got a lot.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
There was a moment where I thought Lebron was gonna swim,
and like.

Speaker 6 (26:51):
Imagine if a guy like pretty impeccable record off the
court just swung at Steven at that would have been
But I will say stephen A like Lebron, like Bronnie
James is an NBA player. That's just everyone knows that.
That's a fact. And but he's in the league because
of his dad. So I don't understand why Lebron is

(27:14):
so upset, like he's subject to criticism if he's in
the NBA and you brought him into the NBA. I
don't know exactly everything that Steven A. Smith has said.
I don't watch him like that, but from the clips
that I've seen. It's not like he went over the
line like he was criticized. Now, Bronni and Lebron in
that dynamic, which is fair game. He's an NBA player
and you brought him into the NBA. Look, Lebron's being

(27:35):
a good father, like who wouldn't stand up for their kid.
But it doesn't feel like steven A really went over
the line.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
To me, all right, yes, Sam, we're having some issues
with you on the stream, so I appreciate you popping
up on there, but we're gonna keep it in house
for right now.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Let's keep it moving. You're right about steven A again.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
You know.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Look, he regardless of what he did say or what
didn't say, Lebron felt like it, you know, crossed the
line and he addressed it, and he went over there
to him and he said what he had to say,
and I respect it, and I have no issues whatsoever.
I do think it's a little a little bit of
a reach to do it during the game, though, my goodness,
you know, you don't have anything else to do with that.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
As far as that is concerned anyways.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
And then of course taking the shine off of the
news of him, you know, scoring that deal five years,
one hundred million. I'm sure he was ready to walk
in flex and feel great or life was, you know,
feeling about as good as it possibly could. And then
next thing, you know what happens, everyone's talking about the
viral moment and he has to open up the show with.

Speaker 6 (28:35):
That, and then he goes to say today and it
was it was more or less on the double down.
And I think the wildest part about it was the
tweet this morning that he sent stephen A because he
gets on Twitter and he says, I wasn't going to
talk about this or sure, but now it went viral. Yeah,
so I have to and I'll see you on the

(28:56):
steven A showing content.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
Everything is content.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
It's how you get to make a hundred million dollars
for five years and your name being discussed as a
potential presidential nominee. You know, like, hey, look, sky's the
limit for that man. Good good on him. I will
say this every time I've had an opportunity to deal
with Stephen A personally ass very nice guy behind the scenes.
I caught up with him at a game down for

(29:22):
the Sixers and a tunnel. It was a couple of
years ago, and I said Steve and A. You got
him in and absolutely talked to Boom recorded real quick one,
you know, with the microphone with the camera. He didn't care.
That was before people were doing that nonsense. And just
a super dude, nice dude. Met him a few times
obviously with the other radio station and his background coming

(29:42):
up through through the inquiry.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Super nice dude. I haven't talked to him in probably.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Like three four years, but I would imagine he's probably
still the same old stephen A man, just a little
bit bigger.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
That's all so good on his part, man, and you.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Know what he's setting up, setting up for folks that
are in the industry. Like that's a good thing. That's
the way you have to view this thing. Not everybody
is him, don't get me wrong, but there it is.
Man you want to talk about. And I don't want
to get into politics, but the people that are representing
the right wing side of things as far as radio
is concerned.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
To Hannities, those guys make crazy money.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Crazy money, crazy money. Steven A's rush slimbo.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
Stephen A's setting up the blueprint because again like he's
got he got the raise, he works less because he's
gonna be on Countdown less and he can do all
his outside stuff now because he already has the steven
A Smith Show under his own production umbrella. Yeah, he
can still do his own, his own, his own political
stuff outside of the ESPN stuff, and he can still
get paid twenty million dollars a year.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
I mean, it's the American dream.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
I mean, like that is really like nothing or nothing,
that's really how you want ideally if you're coming into
the sports media game, that's ultimately the place that you
want to get to.

Speaker 6 (30:47):
And when when we get into like the NFL one
up version, so like if steven A makes five years
one hundred million, who's gonna be the guy to make
five years one hundred and one million, because we're gonna
start getting there at some point, like you make like
the highest paid quarterback, and then it's gonna be the
highest paid you know.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
And like I said, I just I find it funny
that we all, you know, pick at this one, this opportunity,
and I know it is Steven A. And he's very bolstrous,
and he's out there and he seems like he is
on television all day every day, and that's partly mainly
the reason why he's getting paid what he is. But
do yourself a favor and go look at some of
these other people that are in the media industry and

(31:23):
go see what they make and then and then get
back to me. Like I said, like, go google what
Sean Hannity makes. Go google what some of these folks
make on some of those radio stations that are people that.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
We don't even know even know, yes, that are in
the political space to talk about this stuff that make
that for a living.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
So good on stephen A and ESPN chose to go
down that path with him a few years ago, and
it's clear as day now more than ever that he
is the future of that of that station.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:51):
I kind of thought at some point that they when
they signed Channon Sharp, that he was going to be like,
there's Steven a insurance, Yeah, just in case he walked away.
But again, they have a good thing going on on
on first day those the ratings are pretty good.

Speaker 4 (32:01):
You know, stephen A like him.

Speaker 5 (32:02):
I love him again, He's the guy that people tune
in to watch every single day. So he's doing something
right when it comes to that thing.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
So it is crazy as far as ratings are concerned,
because to remove.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
I just you know, around the.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Horn after twenty three years and they're still pulling ratings
at five o'clock, right, man, I feel forever it's going
to replace that that spot.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
Yeah, I don't even know what it's going to be.
Have you ever heard of it anything?

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Like in what half an hour?

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Well I guess, well yeah, because because you're not touching
PTI until they want to walk away, PTI stay in.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
So like what do you do for that half an hour?
Is it? Do you extend NFL Live or something.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
That's why I would have just said, look, we're going
to keep it as such until PTI says it's time
to go. Once pat I, PTI says it's time to go,
then we'll remove around the horn. I'm curious, is more
than ever? More than anything? And what's going to replace
around the horn at five o'clock? Like it doesn't cost
much to produce, right, So it's like it can't. Like
you're in cameras, you know, all across the country.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Nobody's flying anywhere there.

Speaker 5 (32:58):
Flying anywhere, Like you go to a studio, you pop up, came,
Like it doesn't cost that much to produce.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
I'm sure you're making money.

Speaker 5 (33:03):
Yeah, I'm sure the ratings are decent with the being
the lead in the PTI I just don't see the
I mean, I know ratings. You know, these talking head
shows are what gets to rating, so I assume that's
what's gonna replace it. But again, like it doesn't cost
you much and it's a it's a profit, you know,
it's a profit gainer, So I don't know why you
would replace it.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
All right, Broadcasting live from the Philly Show here in Oaks,
Pa Schambrace, Roy Burton and Luke R.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
Caney.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Of course, Luke does a great job covering the Phillies
for us. We got some Phillies memorability of Phillies collectors,
all those jerseys over there. Great picture from Clearwater, Luke.
From yesterday where you had j Roll, Ryan Howard and
Charlie Manuel just sitting next together, man reliving the boys.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yeah, what do you think they were talking about? What
do you think what.

Speaker 6 (33:46):
Either golf game or what five star Michelin restaurant they're
going to go to that probably or something like that.
I guarantee you this. I don't think they were talking
about baseball. I'll tell you that.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Well, it's great to see uncle Charlie doing well, because
he had the health situation and that was definitely some
scary stuff there. But you know, and like I said,
from the visuals down in clear Water, putting everything to
the side as far as results are concerned, but just
want to stay healthy, get through and then go from there.
Any big takeaways for you at this point time. You

(34:15):
had a good interview yesterday.

Speaker 6 (34:17):
Yeah, yeah, so I got to interview a number ten
Phillies prospect, Rincones Junior. Uh.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
He was awesome.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
He was.

Speaker 6 (34:25):
It was really funny too, because he was great interview.
And it's funny when you interviews these these younger prospects
on the teams, because like if you get a guy
like Harper Schwarber, you know they're they're a lot more
like mature and and and more mediates yet guarded. But
Rinconas was just it was literally just like a normal conversation,

(34:45):
like talking to someone at the bar. He was awesome.
He's he's been killing it down there. Other than that,
really not a ton going on right now. Ranger Suarez,
Uh uh. There was an article released, I believe yesterday
that he said he wants to stay and filled off
you forever.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
Obviously, the Phillies are me too loaded? Right now?

Speaker 6 (35:05):
They're they're loaded, and they're probably gonna have five starters
after this season, and that's not even including Ranger. So
that's basically where the Phillies want to go. I mean,
I don't think they want to see Ranger leave. Ranger
knows that he can be us. It's a new agent,
the one everybody loves in Scott Boris. He's probably gonna

(35:27):
get some serious money. So as far as that not
really a ton from Clearwater. We got twenty days on
the dot until opening day twenty days twenty days March
twenty seventh at Nationals Park, Zach Wheeler will most.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
Likely be on the mound. That's about it right now.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
Nick, yesterday we got the first homer of the spring
from Nic cassionics that. But you guys know how spring
training works. If if if it's a good thing that happens,
then we use it as a takeaway. If a bad
thing happens, then we say it's spring. It does not matter.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
To stick to the script of it does not matter period.

Speaker 6 (36:06):
Unless unless a prospect hits a home run, then you
then you can say he's.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Ready to play. I'm with you on that.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
As three two finals score today that Phils fell to
the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Speaker 6 (36:17):
Bought our positives as Christopher Sanchez looked fantastic again today.
He was sitting around ninety seven, ninety eight again. The
change up looks even nastier than it did last year.
He's up about three four miles an hour that he
was last year.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Nick, Nick going yard yesterday, As you said, the I
think that the moment of the day from the Phillies
perspective was the tweet by the old Lady cast the
mom did you see that.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Out check on your loved one?

Speaker 4 (36:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (36:43):
You never know? Yeah, mom gets it.

Speaker 4 (36:45):
I like, what was it deal with Jose Aldo.

Speaker 6 (36:47):
He's looking looking, he's looking slim and he any and
he hit a hundred and one and a half on
March second. His first out the spring was last week
and he touched Yeah, I believe a hundred.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
And one point seven.

Speaker 6 (37:00):
So he he looks like he's in the best shape
of his career. He looks slim man, he looks he
looks slim down from last year. And this is a
big year for him. Obviously last year was his worst
with the Phillies. He needs to bounce back here. This
bullpen needs him to have a good year. But yeah,
I mean if if the outlook on him is is

(37:21):
how his off season has been so far, then I
think he's gonna have a big twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Excellent stuff, broadcast a lot for the Philly Show. We're
about to get party started here, doors open at one o'clock,
off and running. Places starting to fill in, and of
course you got the autographed signings. They'll be kicking things
off right around six o'clock. I want to say is
that the first one around like nice, we will also
have bang Buster and uh, they'll be hanging there with

(37:46):
Nico OsO. This place has no idea what there in
story with Nico When.

Speaker 6 (37:52):
Those speakers start start railing all through the oh yeah no,
it's gonna get loud in here soon.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
And what they were they had a gentleman who did
a great job calling the you know, because what it
is is you'll step up and let's just say, don't
want Smith Junior is at the first first section right here,
right the first stage.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
Yeah, first dais whatever you want to call desk.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Yeah, And so that's what they'll say, and they'll start
calling out numbers. That's what it's like. One to twenty five,
twenty six to fifty and if you have that ticket,
then you get in line. It's your opportunity to go
get that signing. The gentleman that did it, and he's
been doing it forever, very you know, very dry, straight
point to the you know, straightforward to the point.

Speaker 3 (38:32):
Buster.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
I'm not sure he has that in him. He's not
a very straight to the point like that.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
God, not quite.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
So things are gonna be a little bit more dynamic,
and I'm looking forward to It's gonna be a lot
of fun, of course, to get those guys involved. This
weird broadcasting live here from the Philly Show. Our third time.
All right again we are talking to all things as
far as what's happening in the sports world, mixing it
up a little bit, focus on the Philadelphia Eagles, if
we can.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Roy and bring it back to the NFL, your specialty.

Speaker 2 (39:00):
You know, And now more than ever, I'm not gonna
sit here and say that these next two weeks will
define what is in store for.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
The team Eagles or the the you know, the the
Bears or whoever it is.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
I'm not gonna sit here and say that you are
going to win or lose a championship over the next
two weeks.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
But it clearly is the direction of the team.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
It clearly is going to make you look at a
team from an outlook standpoint of Okay, they go out
there and get ex quarterback, right, well, then maybe they
might not go If they're gonna spend a ton of
money on the Sam Darnold and make that move get
him involved, They're not gonna go ahead and draft a quarterback,
right that's gonna have to spend a top dollar at
the draft in one, three or seven, wherever it is.

(39:45):
So I think we can start filling in a little bit.
So right now, I'm not trying to make a big
deal over March seventh in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Season, But I am. No, you know, but I am.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
And I also want to say in specific, when I
look at the Chargers and what they did with Khalil
Mack and of course you know now with Bosa Gun
and then on the flip side, what if bo s
ends up with his brother in San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (40:10):
That's a huge deal. So like, yeah, to help me
out on this. Essentially, this is a big darn stretch
in the NFL calendar.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
No, it really matters.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
And again like you said, I think for me, the
most important thing is you'll find out now what a
lot of teams are going to do at the end
of April in the draft, right Like if the teams
you know, address their needs and free agency, if the
team you know, or if the team let's guys leave
in free agency.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
Let's say Josh Sweat gets a bag.

Speaker 5 (40:33):
Let's say Nelton Wis gets a bag, It's a pretty
good chance at the Eagles, you know, come April are
probably going to address that defensive line in the draft.
So I think that's for me, the biggest takeaway from
from this time because you'll see what teams prioritize, whether
or not they have money to make moves, and if
they don't take care of those those big name signings
two or three weeks, then they have to take care
of those signings coming April.

Speaker 4 (40:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:54):
Well, as far as where we're at right now, you
get sa Kwon Barkley back in the mix. Of course,
Zach Bam which was the biggest one, big domino.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
Yeah, yeah, and he's never leaving the building. What is
he doing this week? What's Zeck Bond up to?

Speaker 4 (41:06):
He's probably on some island somewhere.

Speaker 2 (41:09):
His story is insane just to think about what he
was able to do with the one year prove it contract.

Speaker 3 (41:17):
What did he make last year something?

Speaker 2 (41:19):
It was under two million, and then now he walks
away with a thirty four million dollar guaranteed deal.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
God bless him, man like, and he deserves every bit
of it.

Speaker 6 (41:29):
And it's and it's also a big shout out to
him too, because it's it's a story that where you
start for so long when you're in New Orleans and
and you barely crack the special teams. Yeah, and like
we signed him last offseason, and I mean, I don't
think anybody obviously thought he was going to be a
Defensive Player of the Year finalist. But I don't even

(41:49):
think Eagles fans really thought he was going to be
an immediate starter, right, And he came out from day
one and and and he looked incredible, He looked unreal.
I forget what the first game was that he really
like slammed his foot down. But I mean, just an
unbelievable story. I had the pleasure of interviewing him back
at the end of November, and it's wild to think about.

(42:11):
At that time, he was like six seven, eight games
into his first year with the Eagles, and and not
that he was a lower name on the roster, but
in the matter of four months, he he went from
a one year deal worth under two million to being
a Defensive Player of the Year finalist, first Team All Pro,
Super Bowl champion, and just earned thirty five million dollars

(42:34):
guaranteed in free agency.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
It's been a wild eight months for Zach.

Speaker 5 (42:39):
Bo Yeah, think about this for a second. March eighteenth
of last year, so not even an entire counter of year.
Eagles signed Devin White into it one year seven, and.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Yeah, that's a name I forgot.

Speaker 5 (42:49):
Devin White was going to be your other, your other runbacker, right,
Kobe and Devin White and were going to be your guys.
Like we've going from that to an unbelievable twelve month periods.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
Crazy you bring that up, Roy, because going back into
those days last year, I don't recall what I was saying,
if anything about Zach Bond.

Speaker 4 (43:11):
You weren't saying anything. You probably weren't saying much.

Speaker 5 (43:13):
No, it's like he just like one point six million
dollar guys, you know, rotational linebacker, good special guy.

Speaker 4 (43:20):
You probably weren't saying like Oh, he's.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
Because it was it was about Trot It was about Dean,
right am I missing anybody? And like I said, with
Tevin Wood, because White was the one, I was like, look.

Speaker 4 (43:31):
Like if he had you can rejuvenate himself after that
bad season.

Speaker 6 (43:34):
Well, that was the biggest question mark heading into the season,
was I mean, your linebackers at the time on what
August first, were Zach Bond, Devin White, Nakobe, Dean and
Trot as they signed or Burks later. Yeah, okay, I
don't think he was on the.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
Signing too. HOWI and company deserve it a ton of praise.
That was one of the biggest question marks.

Speaker 6 (43:59):
And then you bustin Na Kobe and we somehow still
had all the faith in the world in our linebacker
corps when we didn't have much faith before the season started.
It was just just an unbelievable, just year for the
defense as a whole. And I mean that's a good
portion of that is all Vic Fangio, just the way

(44:21):
the D line was and and this secondary, I mean
that that secondary is filthy, unbelievable. And they're young. They
are young, and they're not going anywhere for a while.
This team is just in a really really good spot.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
And guess what the majority of the we're going to
be here today and.

Speaker 6 (44:36):
They are Quinine Phillyshow dot com.

Speaker 3 (44:41):
Check them out. We're broadcasting live right now from the
Philly Show.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
Staying with the NFL and of course some of the
moves that are taking place and some of the head
scratching decisions as well. If you're Joe Burrow with the
Cincinnati Bengals, what are you saying right now?

Speaker 3 (44:56):
I'm out of there?

Speaker 5 (44:57):
If you're out holden, you know, defensive court here the
SINSINETI Bengals. What are you saying right now?

Speaker 4 (45:02):
Yeah? You had one guy on defense that you can
get on. He's gone.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Yeah, and you are, you know, leaving Notre Dame. I
guess you know, money's definitely more with Cincinnati. I would
assume sure, NFL okay, But when it comes down to
like a direction of a franchise with a legit, elite
quarterback and they are trying their darkness to screw this up.

(45:25):
If I'm Joe Burrow, like, first of all, T Higgins
is not suiting up and playing under that tag.

Speaker 4 (45:31):
No, no way, he was.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
He was fighting it last year.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
And I just again it's crazy to look at the
dollars and cents standpoint and say, really, you're gonna pass
up on that, But that's what he's going to do.
And then of course we know what with Chase and
what took place last year, and they need to figure
that out. I don't think there's any doubt in my
mind that that deal will get done. Uh but will
that be enough? And what we're seeing right now with

(45:55):
your best defender saying, hey man, I'm looking for a
trade Hendrickson out there, and I don't know who can
who can come up with the capitol to get him,
but I'm sure some teams would definitely start come up
with one to get him.

Speaker 4 (46:09):
I heard that they might be smooking, you know, hunting
around for like a second round pick.

Speaker 6 (46:14):
Yeah, I think I I think it's all like a
second and a third or some sort of rumor like that.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
I know a team that has second round pick.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
He finished the season last year at seventeen and a half.
He was the leader in.

Speaker 4 (46:23):
Sacks last two year seventeen and a half. He seasoned unbelievably.

Speaker 3 (46:27):
Thirty five sacks in two seasons. And when you're trying
to build a team around Joe Burrow. Let's just trade him.

Speaker 4 (46:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (46:33):
I think he's like he like produced like including sex
he has in sex, he like contributed to produce soone,
you know, advanced metrics. I think he produced like twenty
six sacks, was responsible for twenty six sacks last season.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
I know the one game against Dallas he literally put
the team on his back and and won that game.
I remember that on the defense set of the ball,
Fau had no idea, would not have pulled that.

Speaker 4 (46:53):
Well, no, no, no no.

Speaker 6 (46:55):
As the dream also went there verncon Junior, who every
guests really started out at Juco, started out at Juco,
then went to a how well Dan sports fans, I
love it all right.

Speaker 3 (47:08):
We got a little man over here. Is that Nick Foles?
Jersey were rocking to Nick Foles? Is that the Foles kit?
That's what I'm talking about. Flip around, turn around, let
me see it.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
Let me.

Speaker 3 (47:17):
Foles will be in attend. That says, well, we're.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
Talking about Super Bowl champion, super Bowl MVPs.

Speaker 3 (47:23):
Jalen hurts, Nick Foles. You gotta love it all right.
