having some fun here and of course talking a little
bit about the story in sports.

And that would be the LA Lakers, the LA Lakers Boys.

As the story, the number one story in all.

Of sports at this point in time before and what
I would say is Lebron James and the Lakers currently
could be the front runner to win it all, but
we know that that is not the case when it
comes to the odds.

Sure, and I.

Would just say this Oklahoma City Thunder, they have a
lot to work with. It's a great roster, great players
led by SGA as far as the MVP is concerned.

But man, when you got.

The starting five and two of those guys are Lebron
and Luca like, it's King and Duck Roy, It's King
and Duck down at the park, Like, yeah, I could.

See them getting over the hump and beating this.

But here's the catch, and this is like the big
talking point that I want to get to dude. To
win the West, you gotta beat potentially the Golden State Warriors,
potentially the Denver Nuggets, potentially Oklahoma City Thunder to get
to the NBA Finals.

That's not going to be easy.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
No, that's a hard, hard road to ho And again
the odds themselves said, like the Lakers, we talked about
plus five hundred to get out of the West, plus
eleven hundred to win the NBA title.

I mean just the fact that if you.

Get through all those teams, you should probably have a
decent shot against Cleveland and Boston because again you've already
been tested and you've already figured out, like your playoff
rotation at that point. My concern about the Lakers is,
I just don't know if they have enough guy not
name Lebron and not name Luca in order to beat
those teams, because as you mentioned, as as Sam mentioned
when he was on in the second segment, Lebron and
Luca are just so much of that offense that at

some point you're gonna need that. You know, that third
score and that fourth score to be you know, a
more consistent, you know player can also reused be that
guy you know, like who's going to be that the
other score for the Lakers when they need him in
the playoffs.

I think we've seen it too, like the past few
years with the Sixers, And I'm not gonna sit here
and compare and beat in MAXI to Luca and Lebron,
But like, I don't.

I don't think you can win an NBA Finals with
just two.

And if you're if you're running out Jackson Hayes and

But at the same time, I think you can get
in there. The Lakers' best scenario is to extend the
series as long as they can. Sure because if they

get into a Game seven, I'll take the Lakers over anybody.
That's the thing they have to keep. They have to
keep themselves above water, I think, because if you go
down two to oh to a team like okay See,
I think you're done. But you know, if it's if
you're up three to two on ok C and and
and yes, and if they win a game six and

then you go back to OKAC for a Game seven,
I like Lebron and Luca and it's just like their
best case scenario is they need to win just the
last game of the series, and like, because I'll take
that do over anybody in the league.

that's understood. But how about from the Warriors perspective and
what they've been able to do now ten and one
since Butler was added, the Butler bump as they're calling.

eleven out of twelve, like you said or whatever it was,
that's still impressive no matter who you're playing.

The Matt Castle podcast hit where he talked about Todd
Haley and him butting heads and it was in a AFC.
He was the starting quarterback for the Kansa City Chiefs
Matt Castle a few years ago, so it was probably
like six seven years ago, whatever it was, and they
were playing in a game at home where they were
up by like twenty five and essentially it was to

clinch the AFC West Matt Castle did something stupid. Todd
Haley pulls him from the game, and I believe it
had something to do with the fact that, like, hey,
the score is what it is. But at the same time,
he was definitely upset with his starting quarterback, whatever it
may be. So Matt Castle, who was able to take
the one year that he filled in for Tom Brady

with the New England Patriots, Yeah, got a bag, gets
the opportunity.

This is crazy though, because this is something.

I've never heard before, and you know, these things do happen,
but it was interesting from the quarterback position he got benched.
He puts in the backup quarterback whoever it was Brockwared
or somebody.

Castle doesn't listen to the coach as they get the
ball back. He runs back out into the field to
take the snaps. Haley, as the offensive play call, does
not send a call in to his helmet. Castle then
chooses to run his own play. Oh, by the way,

for a team that's just about to win their division.
So anyways, they punt goes back, they get into it,
whatever it may be. And then he did it again.
He rammed back back out on the field. It was
insane to hear this clip and it's out there. He's
got a new podcast on IR radio. The guy who

his co host is Bobby Bones and he he just said, like, dude,
he completely blew off the head coach.

So, so what happened in the next game, Like what was.

So he said that when he went into the facility
on Tuesday or he went on Monday, met up with everybody,

was a misplayed hand by both parts.

grabbing your helmet. You're not going back on that field.
I'm finding someone else's. I'm gonna go, Mike Singletary, I
can't win with them, exactly, don't want.

I really wouldn't be surprised if like a coach, like
another coach and another team would just go out on
the field and just grab the guy. Like I'm surprised
that it didn't get to that level. It's amazing to

Roy Burton, seven point dogs on the road in La.

Any chance that they're gonna have some bite after losing
Brunts and you know he's gonna miss tonight.

Yeah, I don't think it's gonna happen again, back to
back after after a hard game last night against the Lakers,
after that overtime, hard overtime, I don't see only he's
a good spot for the Knicks. As we mentioned before,
ogn I know he's played pretty well, but you know,

As the story, the number one story in all.

Of sports at this point in time before and what
I would say is Lebron James and the Lakers currently
could be the front runner to win it all, but
we know that that is not the case when it
comes to the odds.

Would just say this Oklahoma City Thunder, they have a
lot to work with. It's a great roster, great players
led by SGA as far as the MVP is concerned.

But man, when you got.

The starting five and two of those guys are Lebron
and Luca like, it's King and Duck Roy, It's King
and Duck down at the park, Like, yeah, I could.

See them getting over the hump and beating this.

But here's the catch, and this is like the big
talking point that I want to get to dude. To
win the West, you gotta beat potentially the Golden State Warriors,
potentially the Denver Nuggets, potentially Oklahoma City Thunder to get
to the NBA Finals.

That's not going to be easy.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
No, that's a hard, hard road to ho And again
the odds themselves said, like the Lakers, we talked about
plus five hundred to get out of the West, plus
eleven hundred to win the NBA title.

I mean just the fact that if you.

Get through all those teams, you should probably have a
decent shot against Cleveland and Boston because again you've already
been tested and you've already figured out, like your playoff
rotation at that point. My concern about the Lakers is,
I just don't know if they have enough guy not
name Lebron and not name Luca in order to beat
those teams, because as you mentioned, as as Sam mentioned
when he was on in the second segment, Lebron and
Luca are just so much of that offense that at

some point you're gonna need that. You know, that third
score and that fourth score to be you know, a
more consistent, you know player can also reused be that
guy you know, like who's going to be that the
other score for the Lakers when they need him in
the playoffs.

I think we've seen it too, like the past few
years with the Sixers, And I'm not gonna sit here
and compare and beat in MAXI to Luca and Lebron,
But like, I don't.

I don't think you can win an NBA Finals with
just two.

Really good players.

And if you're if you're running out Jackson Hayes and
Dorian Finney Smith and Gabe Vincent's getting twenty two minutes,
Like I just don't. I don't know if it's enough.
But at the same time, I think you can get
in there. The Lakers' best scenario is to extend the
series as long as they can. Sure because if they

get into a Game seven, I'll take the Lakers over anybody.
That's the thing they have to keep. They have to
keep themselves above water, I think, because if you go
down two to oh to a team like okay See,
I think you're done. But you know, if it's if
you're up three to two on ok C and and
and yes, and if they win a game six and

then you go back to OKAC for a Game seven,
I like Lebron and Luca and it's just like their
best case scenario is they need to win just the
last game of the series, and like, because I'll take
that do over anybody in the league.

So we've been talking a lot about the Lakers, and
that's understood. But how about from the Warriors perspective and
what they've been able to do now ten and one
since Butler was added, the Butler bump as they're calling.

Haley and him butting heads and it was in a AFC.
He was the starting quarterback for the Kansa City Chiefs
Matt Castle a few years ago, so it was probably

were playing in a game at home where they were
up by like twenty five and essentially it was to

clinch the AFC West Matt Castle did something stupid. Todd
Haley pulls him from the game, and I believe it
had something to do with the fact that, like, hey,
the score is what it is. But at the same time,
he was definitely upset with his starting quarterback, whatever it
may be. So Matt Castle, who was able to take
the one year that he filled in for Tom Brady

with the New England Patriots, Yeah, got a bag, gets
the opportunity.

This is crazy though, because this is something.

I've never heard before, and you know, these things do happen,
but it was interesting from the quarterback position he got benched.
He puts in the backup quarterback whoever it was Brockwared
or somebody.

Castle doesn't listen to the coach as they get the
ball back. He runs back out into the field to
take the snaps. Haley, as the offensive play call, does
not send a call in to his helmet. Castle then

So anyways, they punt goes back, they get into it,
whatever it may be. And then he did it again.
He rammed back back out on the field. It was
insane to hear this clip and it's out there. He's
got a new podcast on IR radio. The guy who

his co host is Bobby Bones and he he just said, like, dude,
he completely blew off the head coach.

So, so what happened in the next game, Like what was.

So now we are on a stage off the side, right,
but we are in the middle of it.

We are in you would say, what's sixty feet away
from all the autograph settings that are going down, so yeah,
Jalen Hurts, Davonte Smith, Nola Smith, Junior Jeremiah trying to
Junior Jeremiah trying to senior Tristan McCollum about sixty feet
behind us, right in the middle of the man.

This year at the Philly Show, just an amazing scene.

it will take you twenty minutes just to do one aisle.

Yeah, I was trying to just do like this little
loop here like right where we are, maybe like I
don't know, like forty vendors or so on this little loop,
and it's just there's just so much there as you
talked about, like jerseys and helmets and footballs, and there's
packs of like twenty twenty five tops that you can get,
like a Phillies pack, and they have a raffle that
includes like tickets to like Phillies games as well. So
an amazing, amazing scene. Again, like you don't have to
