Number one on your car radio preset hand than new
and improved Diehard Radio app WDA Yes and WD two
seven three D. Philadelphia is Fox Sports Radio The Gambler,
The super Bowl Celebration never ends. Coming to you live
from the Philly Show in Oaks, PA. This is the
Daily Ticket with Sean Brace.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Hey, now we are live from the Philly Show.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Come on, people, make some notes for your philadelp Eagles
super Bowl champion. My name is Sean Brace. Luke Rcaney
Roy Burton's running around here somewhere. He's trying to find
his best deal. Phillyshow dot com for the people that
are listening to us right now, phillyshow dot com. Of course,
autograph signings are ready to get going here. At about
five thirty, you're gonna hear a gentleman in the background.
(00:49):
He's gonna start setting this bad boy up, organizing it
does a great job. He's gonna be a lot louder
than us. Yes he will be, Yes he will be.
But that's alright, that's all right. He's got a job,
a more important job to do to satisfy the masses here.
As the line is, this is something that I did
not see last time we were here at the Philly
Shows this line. Yeah, things have changed a little.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Bit happened since the last time.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
I don't think I think a Philadelphia team won. Something
could be mistaken.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Remember which one it was, I don't know, super.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Bowl fifty nine champions. Man, it feels great to say that.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
All right, we are live once again from the Philly Show,
having some fun here and of course talking a little
bit about the story in sports.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Not locally but nationally.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
And that would be the LA Lakers, the LA Lakers Boys.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
As the story, the number one story in all.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Of sports at this point in time before and what
I would say is Lebron James and the Lakers currently
could be the front runner to win it all, but
we know that that is not the case when it
comes to the odds.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
Sure, and I.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Would just say this Oklahoma City Thunder, they have a
lot to work with. It's a great roster, great players
led by SGA as far as the MVP is concerned.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
But man, when you got.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
The starting five and two of those guys are Lebron
and Luca like, it's King and Duck Roy, It's King
and Duck down at the park, Like, yeah, I could.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
See them getting over the hump and beating this.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
But here's the catch, and this is like the big
talking point that I want to get to dude. To
win the West, you gotta beat potentially the Golden State Warriors,
potentially the Denver Nuggets, potentially Oklahoma City Thunder to get
to the NBA Finals.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
That's not going to be easy.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
No, that's a hard, hard road to ho And again
the odds themselves said, like the Lakers, we talked about
plus five hundred to get out of the West, plus
eleven hundred to win the NBA title.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
I mean just the fact that if you.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
Get through all those teams, you should probably have a
decent shot against Cleveland and Boston because again you've already
been tested and you've already figured out, like your playoff
rotation at that point. My concern about the Lakers is,
I just don't know if they have enough guy not
name Lebron and not name Luca in order to beat
those teams, because as you mentioned, as as Sam mentioned
when he was on in the second segment, Lebron and
Luca are just so much of that offense that at
(03:10):
some point you're gonna need that. You know, that third
score and that fourth score to be you know, a
more consistent, you know player can also reused be that
guy you know, like who's going to be that the
other score for the Lakers when they need him in
the playoffs.
Speaker 6 (03:21):
I think we've seen it too, like the past few
years with the Sixers, And I'm not gonna sit here
and compare and beat in MAXI to Luca and Lebron,
But like, I don't.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
I don't think you can win an NBA Finals with
just two.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Really good players.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
And if you're if you're running out Jackson Hayes and
Dorian Finney Smith and Gabe Vincent's getting twenty two minutes,
Like I just don't. I don't know if it's enough.
But at the same time, I think you can get
in there. The Lakers' best scenario is to extend the
series as long as they can. Sure because if they
(03:54):
get into a Game seven, I'll take the Lakers over anybody.
That's the thing they have to keep. They have to
keep themselves above water, I think, because if you go
down two to oh to a team like okay See,
I think you're done. But you know, if it's if
you're up three to two on ok C and and
and yes, and if they win a game six and
(04:16):
then you go back to OKAC for a Game seven,
I like Lebron and Luca and it's just like their
best case scenario is they need to win just the
last game of the series, and like, because I'll take
that do over anybody in the league.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
So we've been talking a lot about the Lakers, and
that's understood. But how about from the Warriors perspective and
what they've been able to do now ten and one
since Butler was added, the Butler bump as they're calling.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
It ten and one.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah, look, and it's not to say that I doubted
Jimmy Butler, but man, they've played some bad teams.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
I can't Okay, But is that is that your big takeaway?
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Then?
Speaker 6 (04:55):
I mean Nets, Hornets, and you don't know, it's funny.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
The one team they lost to.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
And that stretcher was the Sixers on Saturday night on Yeah.
Speaker 6 (05:05):
I mean it's still a good basketball team, don't get
me wrong, But they played the Nets, they played the Hornets,
they played the Magic, they played the Hornets again, they.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Played the Mavericks.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
Like it hasn't been the best teams, but winning what
eleven out of twelve, like you said or whatever it was,
that's still impressive no matter who you're playing.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
And oh, by the way, you're talking about Steph Curry,
who is just that that shot last.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Night at the end of the first half.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
It was a turnaround jumper heave and he claims its
muscle memory. That's what he says.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I'm see.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
I'm not surprised when he says that he takes.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
In warm up some things like that. It probably is.
He probably practices that shot.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
I love the video the other night of McCain and
they were verse in the Warriors.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
He's dude.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
He sat there and he just stood at Steph Curry
for twenty minutes straight, they said. They said, he didn't
take his eyes off of him the entire warm up.
It's just I've seen him in once in person. Steph
and the same dude, even the warm up. It's just
like Paul Eyes watching watching the way, like whole pull
up from like three quarter court and drain like four
(06:15):
in a row. But once again, it just looks like
muscle memory.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
And and Jared McCain was watching him from the bench
the other night.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
I don't know if you said that. Sorry, something else
going on in my head, But that's all right. Superbroadcasted
Life from the Till Show the Eagles a lot going
on right now.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Well, you know, I'm thinking about Jalen Hurts is going
to be right behind this in just a couple of minutes.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Man.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
When you say Jalen Hurts, make sure you put super
Bowl MVP.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Super Bowl Champs said yeah, thank you. And in the video,
the short videos are continue to pop up all over
where he essentially was questioning Sirianni and whether or not
he wanted to pull the starters?
Speaker 4 (06:53):
Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure?
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Are you sure? The play?
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Are you sure?
Speaker 6 (07:01):
And when he got back to the bench, it was
funny because you could see Saquon in the camera on
the bench and Squon was like, dude.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
We're up four s and Jayalen was like, well yeah, dude.
Speaker 6 (07:13):
He wanted to obliterate them even more than they already
did that night.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
You know something else that was on my timeline yesterday
that I had written down just for the stupid notes
on the way out, but this was crazy.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
I send it to you guys.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
The Matt Castle podcast hit where he talked about Todd
Haley and him butting heads and it was in a AFC.
He was the starting quarterback for the Kansa City Chiefs
Matt Castle a few years ago, so it was probably
like six seven years ago, whatever it was, and they
were playing in a game at home where they were
up by like twenty five and essentially it was to
(07:51):
clinch the AFC West Matt Castle did something stupid. Todd
Haley pulls him from the game, and I believe it
had something to do with the fact that, like, hey,
the score is what it is. But at the same time,
he was definitely upset with his starting quarterback, whatever it
may be. So Matt Castle, who was able to take
the one year that he filled in for Tom Brady
(08:11):
with the New England Patriots, Yeah, got a bag, gets
the opportunity.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
This is crazy though, because this is something.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
I've never heard before, and you know, these things do happen,
but it was interesting from the quarterback position he got benched.
He puts in the backup quarterback whoever it was Brockwared
or somebody.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
Stupid like that.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Castle doesn't listen to the coach as they get the
ball back. He runs back out into the field to
take the snaps. Haley, as the offensive play call, does
not send a call in to his helmet. Castle then
chooses to run his own play. Oh, by the way,
(08:50):
for a team that's just about to win their division.
So anyways, they punt goes back, they get into it,
whatever it may be. And then he did it again.
He rammed back back out on the field. It was
insane to hear this clip and it's out there. He's
got a new podcast on IR radio. The guy who
(09:10):
his co host is Bobby Bones and he he just said, like, dude,
he completely blew off the head coach.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
So, so what happened in the next game, Like what was.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
So he said that when he went into the facility
on Tuesday or he went on Monday, met up with everybody,
Definitely got some blowback.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Definitely was not a good thing. But he he was.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
The captain because he kept on saying that to him,
He's like, coach, I'm the captain of the team here.
But he quickly was begging him to turn the page
and start getting ready for a playoff game, and essentially
that's what they had to do. Sure, I think it
was a misplayed hand by both parts.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
The fact that Haley pulls.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Him and then allows him to do that like I'm
calling a time out.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
Off the field, get off the Can you imagine.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
If that happened here?
Speaker 4 (09:59):
My, if that happened with the Eagles.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
It's crazy. It's all we would talk about for a month.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
But the thing is is, like, you know, crazy stories
like that do happen. Sure right that we never hear of?
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (10:12):
Like that?
Speaker 3 (10:12):
Was that blew my mind When I stumbled into that
clip yesterday, I'm like, wait what? And you know, if
I'm the coach, I'm losing, There's just no way I'm
allowing you to run out in that field. If I'm benching,
you your benched. That's it, and I'm coming for somebody's
grabbing your helmet. You're not going back on that field.
I'm finding someone else's. I'm gonna go, Mike Singletary, I
can't win with them, exactly, don't want.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
I may be on Matt Castle's.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
I really wouldn't be surprised if like a coach, like
another coach and another team would just go out on
the field and just grab the guy. Like I'm surprised
that it didn't get to that level. It's amazing to
me that how.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Many room and handcuffs. How many years?
Speaker 5 (10:48):
How many years ago does this happen? Ten fifteen years?
We just heard about this now, it's pretty unbelievable. Yeah,
it had to be probably right around that.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
It was from twenty ten. Yeah it tight.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
Yeah, Chiefs Titan, So it was thirty four to fourteen
Chiefs and.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
He got benched.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Yeah, a little over the top by by the head coach,
a little bit in a game that you're going to
clench and when the division you keep your starter out there.
So I think there was something else going on there,
all right, but an intriguing story to say the least.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
So do yourself favorite and check that one out. And
I'm sure we will hear.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
A little bit more about that one, because you know
how it works as far as media is concerned.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
When these things start to pop up, you know, everyone's
got to get their takes on it.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Although it is Friday, so we're gonna be quickly changing
the page on that one, turning the.
Speaker 4 (11:35):
Page all right back over to the NBA.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
As far as the games that we got going on tonight,
we got a big, big card here, eight games. Who
discuss Number one for me is my all eyes on
the Knicks as they are on a five game road trip,
tough loss last night. Can they bounce back with alt
bruntson taking on the Clippers this evening? Seven point dogs,
Roy Burton, seven point dogs on the road in La.
(12:00):
Any chance that they're gonna have some bite after losing
Brunts and you know he's gonna miss tonight.
Speaker 5 (12:04):
Yeah, I don't think it's gonna happen again, back to
back after after a hard game last night against the Lakers,
after that overtime, hard overtime, I don't see only he's
a good spot for the Knicks. As we mentioned before,
ogn I know he's played pretty well, but you know,
Cat had a bad game last night.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I just don't see it tonight with the Knicks.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
And by the by the way, speaking of the Clippers,
James Harden's having a pretty good season out now.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Yeah, you have like a the other dropped fifty, didn't he?
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, something like that.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
A really good season out in La. So kudos to him.
Maybe Ben Simmons plays night for the Clippers.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
We'll see Ben looking at Ben prop.
Speaker 5 (12:34):
No be Ben's six points, Ben pro, I might throw
a little shekels.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
And I had nothing for Ben. There's no way, I'm
wasting a dollar and I'm taking the over, not the under.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
James James Harden is averaging twenty two points this year,
five rebounds, eight assists.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
That's a great stat line man.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
He is the system.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Thirty five. Yeah, he is the system thirty five years,
the thirty six in.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
August of a career for him. I'll tell you what.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
But from the Clippers standpoint ten, Tony, you know, you
would like to think that the Knicks could bounce back
that do play good defense.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
It's just where are the points coming from?
Speaker 5 (13:18):
Right?
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Who's gonna score? You know, Anonobe?
Speaker 5 (13:20):
I mean like Kat can score a little bit obviously,
anonob You know, like we talked about before, Michail Bridges,
Like is this time for mckail Bridges to be that
twenty twenty two point scorer? You know, in the apses
of Brunts and Brank Brunton, I nobody averages like twenty
six twenty seven, Like he's one of the leading scores
in the NBA. Those points gotta come from somewhere, and
Mickael Bridges is probably the guy I would think that
they would built kind of like tailor the offense towards.
(13:40):
But again it's a big hole to Phil when you're
missing the guy a dog, as Sean will say, like
like Jalen Brunson.
Speaker 4 (13:47):
He's been just incredible.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
He is this system as well, and it's like it's
I don't want to take a shot at the Knicks because,
like I said, they're forty and twenty two whatever their
record is. But man, offense, it does feel like if
it's not brunts and it's just not happening, you know what,
Like he how many times did he do it against
us last year in the playoffs? That was the same
(14:11):
thing last night. It was the same exact like way
it played out where Josh Hart would squee seep out
into the corner, brunts would dribble around getting to the
lane and all of a sudden, flip it out and
then he would hit that big shot. But other than that,
it was brunts and pulling up and just taking it
to the rack and falling to the ground. I'm a
huge Brunson fan, I am, and I know that he
gets caught up in the the flopping to get it,
(14:34):
but man, he's a dude. He is so small and
he's got dog mentality and great offensive skills.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
Which the Sixers could have landed him. They would have
been great to get him.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Yeah, it would have been really.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Nice to take anyone at this point in time. Sure,
all right, back.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Over to the NBA.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
The Calves twelve game, winn a streak.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
They're on the road taking on the Charlotte Hornet's this.
Are you willing to lay the sixteen and then extend
this to thirteen? Or are we not going to touch
the at s and they just win the game. I
can't touch the thirty. We're not gonna touch I think
I think you just don't touch this game at all.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
So they're winning.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
But he had a sixteen might be a little bit too,
that's wefty, that's a lefty.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
Yeah, let's keep it moving other games of substance.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
So there's a that OKAC Portland game. Is there something
I'm missing?
Speaker 1 (15:22):
There is?
Speaker 4 (15:23):
I did look at this out tonight.
Speaker 6 (15:25):
Is heart and Stein Dort, Wallace and Williams and chet
is a game time decision.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
That's g because I knowew he was questionable.
Speaker 6 (15:31):
It seems like sjas and he's not on their injury
report alright, but still that's still like, I mean even
fifty even without Yeah, like that is the number that's
that is only a three point spread Heat Timberwolves. Timberwolves
four and a half point favorites on the road. He'd
have been pretty bad. That was bad, but unimpressive.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
Last week good, I know, I know Hero missed last game,
a couple of games with the illness on a piece back.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
He Like ever since the Jimmy Butler tree, they've kind
of been out of sorts a little bit. Not a
not a big heat fan the Timberwolves. Maybe they put
it together to night and get a win.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
On the road.
Speaker 4 (16:04):
MAVs Grizzlies?
Speaker 6 (16:06):
Is are we just like riding anybody that's versing the MAVs?
Anybody Grizzlies minus ten on the road?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Yeah, I don't have a problem with that.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
That's cook.
Speaker 6 (16:15):
Oh Man, what's the worst season the Sixers of the MAVs.
Who do you think is gone through more paint this year?
Sixers fans or MAVs fans. I'm probably gonna give the
edge to the MAVs because I mean, they were in
the finals last year. So yeah. Yeah. It's also not
like this is a one year thing for the Sixers,
Like like the Sixers should just you know, jump back
into it next year.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Essentially, though there are a lot of similarities between Luca
and Joel Embiid, though like both are probably never coming Well,
we know Luca's never coming back to Dallas. I don't
know if JoJo's ever coming back. We'll see what happens
on that one. Again, A lot to pay attention to
a the NBA. From the Sixers standpoint, we are in
tankathon mode. That turn on a raptor six point favorites
(16:54):
against the jet That's surprising that March twelfth game Sixers or.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Yeah, was telling me about it. That's the games.
Speaker 6 (17:03):
It is going to feel like Game seven of the
NBA Finals, and we gotta hope they lose.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
We gotta that.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Building needs to be empty.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
We need we need that masterpiece sized tank rolling through
the well Fargo.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
N I need seventeen people in the Wells Fargo Center
that night.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
I was looking at their schedule what they do close up?
They have one game that's they don't end the season
on their at home. They it it's their second last one.
I was like, you know what I would like to
go to that game. I would imagine you get like
a front row seat, like five bucks.
Speaker 5 (17:30):
They get that that fan appreciation night, because when they
give out all those like vacations to.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
The two hundred people that are in attendance, I'll.
Speaker 6 (17:35):
Say what, we do have some games to lose over
the next few weeks. We got Houston, we got okayc
we got New York, we got Milwaukee.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
We oh yeah, game yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
We got to save Will Held.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
You know that if the Eagles are doing anything, Will
is gonna be here. It's great to see Will Helms.
All right, we are the game. We're broadcasting life from
the Philly Show. Starting to pack up once again. Jalen Hurts,
super Bowl Champion, super Bowl MVP is in the building,
building a whole lot more from the Eagle Super Bowl
Championship team as well phillyshow dot com. They will be
(18:12):
all weekend long, rolling out the big names the way
to announcements too, So I don't want to talk over all.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
Right, here's the deal though. We are coming down the
home stretch. We got to Scott.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
We're gonna take quick time out. We'll come back on
the other side. More from the Philly Show.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Back after this, talking autograss and collectibles Live from the
Philly Show. You're listening to the Daily Ticket right here,
on the Gambler.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
Once again, coming to you live from the Philly Show.
Sean Brace, Roy Burton closing down shop here on a Friday.
Roy appreciates you and taking a ride with us here
at the Philly Show. Man looks believable.
Speaker 5 (18:52):
Man, this is my first ever Philly Show. I just
wanted to kind of get a get a taste of
the action here. This is an unbelievable night, unbelievable day.
I believe a weekend here, so many players, so many
you know, memorabilia shops here with some amazing gear.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
So if you're in the area, please check it out.
This weekends amazing, amazing.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
Yeah, the the.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
With the Philly Show normally around this time it's it's
basically a base for baseball, a lot of b where
it's there, and it's spring training as you know, March exactly.
Of course, the success that the Eagles just had, they
continue to ride that wave.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
You know.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
The crazy thing for me though, is how many players
are are like, well like I don't yeah, a're here,
So I would ask, like number one, financially, it's got
to be worth their time, right, That's that's bottom bottom
line is the money has got to make sense.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
But like you got everybody here.
Speaker 5 (19:47):
Everybody here, Like just look at like the guys today
that we talked about before, Nolan Smith Junior, Jeremiah Trotter
Junior and senior, the Father, Davonte Smith, Jalen hurts Uh,
you know, Dom Desandro, Nick Sirianni.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
You have Stoutland.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
That's just tonight, like next weekend, I mean on Saturday,
like everybody, everybody else on the defense is going.
Speaker 6 (20:06):
To be here.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
Cam Jergens, Jay Elliott, Isaiah Rogers, Davis A. J.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Brown. This is an amazing list of jo us here
this weekend.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Yeah, look you get to see like the best of
the best. Even if you're not getting an autograph, still
sure grab a glimpse of jailing at the table signing
some autographs. Takes some pictures, of course. Davonnte is over
there right now. As you said, it's a pretty cool
deal man, it really is. But if you do want
to take it that step further, get yourself an autograph signing.
All the details at phillyshow dot com. I'm just trying
(20:37):
to we're our backs are.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
See, we're kind of like creaming our next and twisting around.
Speaker 4 (20:42):
From we see jail that's X.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
We want to see Jailen Hurts.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
You know, like again, very limited autograph, very limited photo
opportunities with Jalen Hurts, So we're trying to get as
much as we can the glimpse of Jailing Hurts again,
our Super Bowl fifty nine MVP here at the Philly
Show coming out in a few minutes. I see the
love Hurt sweatshirts already. I don't even think they've been
officially released yet. Well, you see the love Hurst sweats
because Jail Hurts here at the Philly Show.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Sean Brace then a round of applause. He sounds.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
Here's Jail Hurts coming out against Super Bowl fifty nine MVP,
coming out here at the Philly Show to greet the crowd.
It's gotta be an amazing Philly brave. It's got it
like winning the Super Bowl, going on that whirlwind parade
down the streets of Philadelphia, culminating at the Art Museum,
and now again the victory life continues at a spot
like here.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
At Yeah, man, it's gotta be amazing, feel great.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
Jalen Hurts right behind us right now at the Philly Show.
And I'll tell you what that is pretty dark cool
of course, everyone letting them know that they're here with
the big old Eagles chant, getting them all fired up, sir,
still riding that Super Bowl victory wave and uh and
it just continues all evening long. Howie Roseman though, and
he doesn't he doesn't have the bruise anymore on the
(21:51):
on the forehead, so that's a good thing.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
He's healed up. I saw him at the combine.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
He did an interview, a couple of interviews over there
in Indianapolis, and he had an interesting quote we'll leave
it at that, about winning his second Super Bowl. But
God bless him, the maestro putting everything together. I just
still laugh about how that parade went down and what
took place, and of course, of all people, Howie Roseman
catches one off the forehead.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
What are we doing now?
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Now? What city? What city?
Speaker 1 (22:19):
This eight?
Speaker 2 (22:19):
Does that happen in?
Speaker 5 (22:21):
B A couple of weeks later, that same GM of
the of the team is at a show like the
Philly Show, taking pictures of signing autographs, like the GM
of a football team is never this popular, right, No,
like this is just a Philly thing, right, definitely? Okay,
all right, because there's something about the city. That's a
little bit different than a lot of others in the
other thirty one NFL cities. I'll leave it at the
(22:42):
there's bluster.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
There's Buster. Now again, I'm going, Jalen hurts, Herry, go
bring it some life into it. I like it, love it,
love it.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
Making this man's job a little harder though, that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Again you can see Jalen hurts some thirty members. Oh
I want to.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Nico oh soo on the sound effects Buster, they're holding
it down.
Speaker 5 (23:07):
Come on, big time, Braceman. You said you undersold it.
You didn't tell me all this is gonna be end.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
Well, look I knew what we would be caught up in. Okay,
let's put it that way.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
And it is a little chaotic, organized chaos.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Organized chaos.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
But we are front and center, and it's it's interesting
because they love us, and they were like, where do
you guys want to be? I leave it up to Powers,
and I'm like, Powers, you tell me wherever we're going.
So now we are on a stage off the side, right,
but we are in the middle of it.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
We are in you would say, what's sixty feet away
from all the autograph settings that are going down, so yeah,
Jalen Hurts, Davonte Smith, Nola Smith, Junior Jeremiah trying to
Junior Jeremiah trying to senior Tristan McCollum about sixty feet
behind us, right in the middle of the man.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
This year at the Philly Show, just an amazing scene.
Speaker 5 (23:56):
Whether you're a collector, whether you just want to see
your favorite athletes, whatever is.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
This is where you want to be this weekend. Yeah, man,
And that's the truth. Let me come back to that
because we were talking a little bit about this. This
this show is normally dedicated towards the Phillies. I do
want to point out Chase Sutton, we will be here
on side, You will be here.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yes. I don't know if.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
Chase sutt least doing too many signings, Probably not.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Like over the years.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
It's it's a guy that kind of not sheltered but
just stays to Himself's gonna be here tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (24:24):
It's going to be Animals is gonna be here. I
believe that Steve Carlton's gonna be here as well. Like
how many signs, Like how many events can you go
to where you can see and get stuff signed from
or have a picture with Jalen Hurd's, Chase Suttley, Mike
Schmidton Smith.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Steve Carlton.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
I mean, this is unbelievable, Like it's like almost like
a once in a lifetime event, Like it's unbelievable that
these many stars have convergs upon you know, the convention
center out here for the three day.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Three day weekend.
Speaker 6 (24:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Well, I can't thank these guys and guys enough for
inviting us. Man, it's really cool. And of course the
Gambler leading to charge. Nobody else is here. Nobody else
is here, and uh I I.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Do know this much.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
A lot of people were calling trying to ride that
gravy train. Yeah I heard that one other radio station
over there. I was trying to weaze of their way in.
But the folks over here at the Philly sh oh no.
We got a great relationship, great partnership with the folks
over at iHeartRadio, at the Gambler specifically, so shout out
to them.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Were you able to walk through?
Speaker 3 (25:21):
Were you able to I know you were doing a shove,
or were able to at least see what else is
out there? Royan, It's crazy, man, because you could just
it will take you twenty minutes just to do one aisle.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Oh, it's unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Yeah, I was trying to just do like this little
loop here like right where we are, maybe like I
don't know, like forty vendors or so on this little loop,
and it's just there's just so much there as you
talked about, like jerseys and helmets and footballs, and there's
packs of like twenty twenty five tops that you can get,
like a Phillies pack, and they have a raffle that
includes like tickets to like Phillies games as well. So
an amazing, amazing scene. Again, like you don't have to
(25:51):
be a sports car collector. You don't have to be
a fan of the Eagles or a fan of football
or
