is the number one game of theweek. I get it, Georgia Bama
understood, but I'm fired up forthis one. I don't know if it's

the Friday night deal, it's it'sby it. I don't know, but
this is the game that's standing outto me the most. You're gonna be
there. That's pretty cool. Ohyeah, this is the game Bama Georgia
never disappoints. I'm looking forward tothat one. I wish it was the
Saturday night game instead of in themiddle, but it is what it is.
But yeah, I mean three versusfive in Vegas, the last ever

Pac twelve championship game winner clearly getsthe spot in the college football playoffs.
If the loser is Washington, whichI hope it will be, then maybe
they can sneak into the last spotdepending on how things go. But uh,
big game. Oh yeah, yeah, definitely a big game. And

didn't these two teams play and andand wait I thought Washington one?

Yeah, So I think that thenumber is what it is because Washington squeaked
out the home win by three.Oregon gambled a lot, easily could have
won the game and it didn't falltheir way. Really tough road game,

only loss of the season. Theyget a revenge spot, and since that
game, Washington's been kind of limpingto almost all their wins and Oregon's been
been pounding people. So, youknow, power ratings wise, Oregon's up
there with Georgia. Washington's really reallygood. I think this is probably and

it's getting to ten a lot ofplaces. I don't think is probably too
many points. But I do likeOregon to win the game. So this
is one of those games. Ireally hope you got out ahead of it.
I've been doing a lot of Pactwelve stuff all year. I took
Washington plus four hundred preseason. Ibet Oregon plus one twenty the day after

they pounded Utah on the road.That's when I thought it became clear this
team is gonna run the table postWashington loss and get to Vegas, and
when they do, they're gonna befavored. So I wanted to have that
ticket in pocket. It makes thegame. It's a tough game to bet
if you if you're not already invested. But that said, what like when

it gets to ten, I reallylike the revenge angle of Oregon. I
really think that they're up there withGeorgia for the best team in the country
and have a chance to win itall. But double digits against this Washington
team that always hangs around, it'shard to go against that. Yeah,
and I saw a future spread.Look, there's a lot of people thinking

really highly of Oregon. I sawa future spread between Georgia and Oregon.
It had Georgia listed as a pointfavorite against Oregon. Do you put do
you put them on that same levelas Georgia, Uh, yeah, they're
right, They're right up there.You know, Georgia's small favorite sounds sounds
about right. Oregon's really good andalso Georgia is not quite as good.

They're they're awesome. They're probably thebest team in the country. But this
is not the invincible Georgia team thathas been running the table the last couple
of years and winning the championship.That's back. Last loss was literally exactly
two years ago in the SEC championshipgame to Alabama as a six to seven
point dog after Alabama really struggled tobeat Auburn on the road the week before.

In the hired bolls seeing some somemirror images of a couple of years
ago in that SEC game. Butthis Georgia team is not nearly as good
as that Georgia team was, andthey can be had. They've covered only
four times this season and they've gotfour wins by ten or less. I

think the way Oregon's playing, andlet's face it, the PAC twelve is
a better conference than the SEC thisyear. So what Oregon's doing in the
PAC twelve is just as impressive,it's not more impressive than what George is
doing in the SEC. All right, from the standpoint of wagering on this
PAC twelve Championship game, and I'mgonna even throw in the Heisman Trophy the
thought here, because Pennix is atsixteen to one, sixteen to one,

isn't there a worth a little sprinkleon that? It's so high that that's
why it's catching my attention. Andof course I thought that this guy was
going to win it three a monthago. I still think he's in the
running. People are telling me,no, it's definitely Nicks and Daniels.
But if Pennix in Washington they pulloff the upset beat Oregon, I think

he could very well be the reasonwhy, and he could be in the
running for that Heisman. Were yourthoughts on sixteen to one? I'm with
you, and this is something thatI bet today. I talked about it
on Follow the Money this morning onVSEN. I talked about it on Unreasonable
Odds today with Paul Stone, whichis coming out later tonight. This is
how I'm I'm invested in Oregons justwinning the game outright, the Washington four

to one, and I took abunch of that money and put it on
Oregon plus one twenty. I'll bein Duck Skier on Friday night in Vegas.
That's who I want to win thegame. But if you're gonna hedge
the game, like I get it, you want to bet Washington money line
or Washington with the points to tryand middle, And I probably will take
some points and try and middle.But you if Pennix wins this game,

he's thirteen and oh with two winsover Oregon, two wins over Nicks,
Nix can't win the Heisman if youlose twice to Pennex, so that means
it's between Pennox and Daniels. Sonow you're to give it to Daniels,
who has the numbers but is ona three loss LSU team. Lamar Jackson
won it with three losses, butI don't think there was a thirteen and

oher quarterback with the resonator the Penixhad in that type of season. So
yeah, I think a great wayto either protect it or an Oregon investment,
or if you just want to splashon it for fun and you're rooting
for Washington on Friday Night, sixteento one on Pennix Heisman if he wins
this game, he I think he'sthat number comes crashing downs. He's very

my mind was. And nine anda half, I just want to see
a good game, So I thinknine and a half is a couple too
many points, but it won't shockand wait, wait on it, that's
that's going to double digits. Ohyeah, you think it's Oregon money's going
to continue to come in. Itis, it is wow, I mean,
I just that's that's how it's beencoming in. And then you look

at the rest of the market.There's already some ten's out there, So
that's I'm I'm thinking that's going toten on DK as well. All right,
let's talk about the Big Ten championshipgame, and I'm bringing it up
from the simple standpoint of the totalbeing thirty five. Can Michigan throw up
thirty six? That's the question?Yeah, I mean, it's it's it

might as well make the total thirtyfive and Michigan like minus thirty four and
a half, right, that's whatthey're telling us exactly because the spread and
the total actually kind of far apart. Given that the Iowa team total is
six and a half, so willthere won't they get in the end zone?
And the team total by half it'shalf a point, so you're just

guessing are they going to score anda half? It's an interesting game to
bet. You know, we've neverseen numbers like this, this big of
a favorite, this low of atotal. Basically projecting a shutout in a
championship game. Big Ten should probablychange their rules and have this be in
Ohio State. Michigan game would runmuch better. But I don't know,

Like this is one where I'm youknow, I'm happy I have my Michigan
preseason ticket to win the Big Ten. That was, you know, a
ticket you sweat last week, notthis week. I would look at maybe
like Michigan first half. I thinkthat they can get out to a strong
lead, pitch the shutout in thefirst half. Fourteen nothing, seventeen,
nothing, twenty one nothing, somethinglike that at halftime, and then because

all Michigan needs to do is winin their in, they need no style
points, they can take their footoff the gas. Maybe Iowa get to
touchdown in the second half. Idon't know, but I think that I'm
confident in Michigan coming out kind ofsteamrolling them, and then we see where
the game goes. So if Iif I had to play the game,
it would be Michigan first half.That's a great take as well. That's
thirteen and a half in the firsthalf. Line. It's the first time

I've heard that, and shame onme for not thinking of that. I
love it though. It's a greatangle, great play. My mind obviously
goes to totals with these low numbers. And I know Iowa's god awful,
but can they not muster a fieldgoal? Can they not throw a I
don't know, a flea flicker?Like do they not have trick plays in
Iowa? Can I get a lookat that that that playbook one day?

Well, they have a really gooddefense, and they have really good special
teams. They returned punts all year. That kick off returns have gotten them
covers in some games. Like ifI had to guess the Iowa defense or
special teams makes a play in thesecond half that results in points, I

mean, do with that as youas you will. That's still doesn't mean
that I wouldn't bet Iowa team totalfirst half under a half a point,
because if you made me bet it, I probably would. Wow, what
a sick wager? That is justa half a point first half? I
love it, all right. Imean, if you like, if you're
a torture yourself on a Saturday night, you have some fun. Come on,
I want nothing to do with withanything Iowa related, Like, yeah,

I think they can get a fieldgoal some way, somehow, but
it if I like, you justabsolutely steered me in a direction to two
touchdowns. I believe that in Michiganis so good they're gonna run the football
downe throat. And I know Ialways got a good defense, but man,
Michigan is just it's men against boys. What they did to Penn State,
and then we saw it in againstOhio State. It's like, all

right, I always got a gooddefense, but I still think Michigan's gonna
be able to have their way withthat, and who knows, they might
mess around and win it all onState. By the way, just for
like a measuring stick, Penn Statebeat Iowa thirty one nuners. Oh geez,
Yeah, that's a good call rightthere as well. All right,
I've got some other things that Iwant to get to. So I'm gonna
ask you this big picture your favoriteplay Championship weekend college football? What's your

one play? All right? So, man, I guess I'll go to
two games we haven't talked about.I'm gonna give you two my full you
know disclosure here. My biggest exposureof the weekend is needing Oregon to win.
But that ship has sailed. Ifyou don't have the number, you're
laying a lot of points. SoI will go Bama plus six. It

might be five and a half rightnow, you'll you'll get a six Bama
plus six and rather than Well,rather than Louisville money line, I'll take
FSU to miss the college football playoffs. So I'll start with Bama because we
already talked to little Georgia. Similarspots to two years ago. Alabama had

(12:15):
no business winning the Iron Bowl.They pull out a miraculous win, they
stay alive. Look ahead spots atGeorgia in the SEC title game. They're
like a touchdown underdog. Nobody's kickingthem, and they beat that team.
Now, Georgia got them in therematch in the National Championship game, but
they got that win. I thinkthis is a similar spot. Alabama really
needs this win. Georgia has notbeen covering. They've been winning narrowly against

anybody that you can give them anykind of competition. And Jalen Millroe is
unlike anything that this team has everseen. He can make plays with his
legs, and that's what I thinkis going to keep this game alive.
So I trust Bama to keep itclose. Anytime Alabama's plus six, you
know I'm probably taking a yeah.The other one I think is a more
interesting play because a lot of peoplethis numbers come crashing down on Louisville with

the Jordan Travis injury. For FSU, I like Louisville in the game.
So if Louisville wins, Florida isgoing to be out of the College football
playoff for sure. I think there'sa chance that you can win FSU to
miss the college football playoffs even ifthey win. If they win an ugly
game, a close game like theFlorida game, it says right in the

College Football Playoff Committee book like theycan factor in injuries. So if they
have two games without Travis and theyjust barely squeak out two wins, they
can make the call to say,we think Texas, or we think the
loser of the Pac twelve game,or whoever it may be. Alabama after

(13:48):
beating Georgia you would think would getin. But whoever the team is,
they could put them in over FSUand make that kind of call. Maybe
they'll make a bold call like thatwith it being the last year of these
kinds of decisions before we go tothe expanded field. So I think that
leaves a little bit of wiggle roomand the money lines. One fifteen missed
the playoffs, one ten last thatlook, so you're sacrificing only five cents

juice in case they make that bolddecision. It's great angle too, Julian.
I mean, yeah, you dothis for a damn living and you're
really good at it. That's agreat angle. I love it because Florida
State could very well, and Iwas making the case so that if they're
on the feed it, come on, man, you can't have that.
I like your angle where it isthe last year it could be just like,
hey, we're gonna do it ourway. But also you gotta trust

your eyes. This is a teamthat put up two hundred and twenty four
total yards against Florida, and Floridahasn't been really all that good on defense.
So if they don't pull well,if they lose their out, we
know that, so that that's easyfor the plus one ten on the know.
But if they do win, andas you said, it's a two
point or a field goal or afive point win, maybe they're choosing Texas,

maybe they're choosing Alabama. Maybe theyyou know, it's just it's taking
out of their hands and I likethat angle though. That's a good call
about you on that one. Allright, we'll keep it moving. A

weekend anyway. It's the Atlanta Falconsand the New York Jets, and that's

Spread your thoughts on the original line, well too, whatever, Now where
we're at, where it's a fieldgoal? Too many points? Are you
comfortable with it? Why is itso many? Why aren't the Eagles favorite
in this game? In your mind? Yeah? I mean the number tells

you what you need to know.The Eagles are really good. I just
think the Niners are better right now. If you're favored on the road,
you're you're obviously better. And Ithink it's also the spot for the Eagles.
They've been squeaking out some really toughgames, the Chiefs game, and
then you come back probably should havelost the Bills game, but find a

way again. Now, you know, you're coming off the Monday to a
Sunday with these tough primetime games,whereas the Niners have been off since Thanksgiving,
they have the longer week. They'recoming in mad about the way they
lost the NFC championship game. Obviouslythat was a blowout, but they feel
like, hey, we didn't havea quarterback. What do you want us
to do? We're going to showthat we are the better team in the

NFC. And then the Eagles alsohave the look ahead to Dallas. Right
It's just a really tough string forthe Eagles right now, and you have
to think they slip up somewhere.So I do think they slip up here.
I think this is a spot wherethe Niners have more time to prepare
for a game that means more tothem, and they they're probably happiest on
the road where that game was lastyear. They want to go in here

and get that win. So I'myou know, it's up to three.
I think I should be able toget a two and a half or like
a minus one forty money line,But I sorry, I like the Niners
in this one where I know whereyou're going. Oh well, no,
actually I think this is Yeah.I wouldn't pick against the Eagles, but
I do believe that we're gonna seepoints. It's just a tough spot,

man. They just played Buffalo ninetyplus snaps on defense, and now you
gotta go up Againstcaffrey and that offensiveline, and defensively they're struggling as far
as injuries are concerned with Fletcher Cox. So I think that Gelean Hurd's is
gonna have to put this ball inthe air and ain'tthing's possible. Yeah,
right, Like they got playmakers onthe wide receiver position that can go up
there and make plays. So Ido believe we're gonna see some points.

It wouldn't shock me if this isin a fifty somewhere, like a thirty
to twenty final score or something stupidlike that, but points could certainly be
there. Yeah. I mean again, if you made me make a wage
run this, I'd probably go withthe forty nine ers on that one.
