Are are are.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Finding out that, you know what, they're pretty pricey as
well as they should be. It's the PGA Tour in
our backyard, Master's champ coming through Rory.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
It's right, they're great, Rory McElroy.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
So with that being said, we got our sell us
a few tickets once again from the fine folks over

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Currently in New York City, but originally from the Mainline area.
Look at that man. Social has been pumping it out, man.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
But here's Zach for his opportunity to win a pair
of tickets too, the truest Championship right here on the
daily Tickets. Zach, are you ready to play Birdie or bogie?

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Sir? Let's get it. I'm very excited.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
All right now, Sam, do you think Zach you just
met him, you're hearing him right now. Do you think
he can actually pull this off in your mind?

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I kind of need to hear a little more energy,
a little more excitement from me.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
So, oh, really, what's going on? Zach? You know, it's
a Thursday. You know, I'm mentally focused in on the
end of the work week tomorrow, you know. But I'm
locked in. I'm locked in. I'm here on present and
I'm very very vad. Yeah, you want these tickets, Zach.
You know it doesn't it doesn't even reach the level

(02:59):
of a repeat this year. But I will say, very
very very badly, I'm looking for any excuse to take
off work on Friday.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
All right, three questions. All you got to do is
get two of them, right. We try to keep it
simple here. We're trying to reward the people, award the
people with a pair of tickets to the Truest Championship.
It's Bertie or Bogey. If you think the statement or
question is true, obviously it's Bertie and you will hear
the correct answer.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
If you think it.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Is wrong, then you say bogey and you'll hear the
of course wrong solider. All right, pretty easy there, Zach.
Let's go ahead and get to it. Question number one,
Rory McElroy will be playing at the Truest Championship all
next week's full name is Aurora McElroy. Rory is short

(03:50):
for Aurora. Is it Bertie or Bogey?

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Bogey?

Speaker 3 (03:58):
He says that is incorrect. Well, that is correct. Yes,
Rory is his full name, not war won for one.
Nice work there. All right, let's go give you the
warning rock the class to us well. Question number two,
Birdie or Bogey Tiger Woods turn pro at the ripe

(04:19):
age of twenty? A little difficult, but Tiger Woods did
he turn pro earlier than twenty later than twenty? Do
you think that sounds about right? Birdie or Bogey? Tiger
Woods turn pro at the age of twenty.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Nineteen ninety six. I know this thirty. Wow, look at this, ladies.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Know this goal, boys and girls, Zach is going to
the Truest Championship game. I congratulations. Our third one was
pretty easy as well. A birdie means completing a whole
one strenk one stroke.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Under part, and that is also a birdie as well.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
All right, hey, Zach, congratulations, man, here's the deal.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
I'm gonna put you on hold.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Get your information. Uh in about two minutes. We'll take
quick time outstep aside. But congratulations once again. You just
want a pair of tickets. You're heading to the Truest Championship.
All the top PGA Tour players like Rory Justin Thomas
will be at the Philadepha Greek Club. Was take of course,
may a through eleven folks, if you want tickets right
now Truest Championship dot com. Great job, Zach. Put you

(05:32):
on hold. We'll get your information just a second. But
as always, man, thanks for listening to the Gambler. Tell
a friend, of course we'll do.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Thank you, guys.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Boom, there he is Zach on the Gambler stream and
our Gambler hotline, and he is just one of the
gragitations to that nice work. There by, Zach, that's a
hot ticket, Yes, hot ticket. We will be doing it
on Monday, the same thing. We're gonna be doing a
game show on Monday live here on the Daily Ticket

(06:01):
with me. However, right now, folks, if you want to
pair of tickets at Fox PHL Gambler and at Sean
and our score Brace. Yesterday, I put out a tweet
simply put. We have the iHeartRadio app. It is a
big push from company wide and it makes a lot
of sense to lock us in as a preset the

(06:23):
brand new iHeartRadio app. They just reconstructed it. It's awesome.
You can scan, it's very similar to just like your
car radio.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
It really is. Give it an opportunity. If you don't
have download it now.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
It's free and all you have to do is lock
the Gambler in as a preset. Screenshot tweet me and
the Gambler station. You'll see that tweet underneath it, and
we're gonna randomly select somebody on Monday as well. All right,
So go ahead, tell your girlfriend to get involved. You
can go get involved, your father in law, your dad,
your brother, sister, cousin, doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
If you want a pair of tickets.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
All you do is download the iHeartRadio app and make
the gambler a preset screenshot.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
It send it in bing bang boom. My daughter says that, no,
it's just so.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
It's that's that's a This is not saying bing bong.
That's that's what it would get bad joining us right
now a man that is definitely not saying bing bong.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
He would Look at this guy, he travels with a microphone.
I love this. I can't see him.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Looking at Sean Bernard fresh off the golf course, got
eighteen and today look at you.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Rory McElroy or any of the boys there over the
true need some driving tips next week? I'm around.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Just let that be.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Can we get a number? Who I hang out before
we get a number? You never played? You're not a golfer.
You just took your first lesson last week?

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Correct?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Correct?

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Correct? You never dabbled in golf, never played before. Nothing.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Today was my fourth time playing eighteen in my life.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Okay, four time playing eighteen in your life? Have you
ever broken a hund before today?

Speaker 2 (08:01):
That was the goal for today?

Speaker 3 (08:03):
And what you got a one on one on your
fourth time ever playing gold Stop dude.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
I'm telling you I've been through the driving raine heavy.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
Good for you. Ye well wait, that's a huge deals deal.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Good for you.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
That's really hard to even come close to that.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
I've been playing twenty plus years and I should have
ninety five, ninety six every time I take.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Now to My goal this summer is to break one hundred.
It's hard. I've never done it in my career. It
broke ninety like three times. And it's the greatest thing ever.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
It's all the other stuff that I can't do, like
the wedges and.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
You know, the important stuff. Yeah, I'm pressed. I'm impressed.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
I took a lesson. I took a lesson last week
Green Valley. Shout out my guy Eric Maloney, and he's
got me hitting this thing. Pure love that I'm breaking
ninety this weekend. I promise you hopefully love it. You
should be the truest I wanted to be there on Wednesday.
Can just be there Wednesday with Page. I'm good, I
kid all right, Shot Vinyard. Now we can continue to

(08:59):
talk about your golf game, and that's all great, but
that's not why you're here. And you're actually here because
I want to talk a little bit about the Detroit
Pistons New York Knicks Game six tonight once again the
game in the Motor City, and Julian just joined us,
who you know very well, over that over at Draft
Kings Sportsbook and he says this is a spot that

(09:21):
the Knicks will end the series at plus one and
a half on Draft Kings Sports Book.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Sam Austria has been back in the Knicks.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Matter of fact, I had to ask him to take
off his Josh Hart jersey before he entered the studio.
I'm literally wearing a sixers old penny whatever you call
whatever this is, excuse it enough of I'm a Knicks
fan talk from all you guys, however, I just like
this team. Sean Bernard did cast you over five and
a half, didn't he got right? So I just want

(09:48):
to know as far as series bets are concerned. But
that's not good enough for us here with the Gambler gang.
We got a big game six tonight, so let's put
something on it because I know that you're going to
be back in the the the Pistons to force this
back to MSG for Game seven.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
I'm in your corner.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
I want a Game seven at MSG where man then
lemon booty will be all present over that that arena tight.
With that being said, it is a one and a
half point spread here, So like, let's put that to
the side.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
Who cares about the number?

Speaker 3 (10:18):
We're just picking straight up here, Sean Bernard is going
to take the Detroit Pistons. Sam Austria has taken to
New York Knicks to put an end to this. Let's
put something on the line. What do you say, boys do?

Speaker 4 (10:28):
All right? I love it.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
I had a couple of thoughts driving home to try
to think of what a fair wage would be. So
I struggled on just New York Department here. So I
went to the Knicks roster. I could have to take
a diving lesson, I'll ad Jalen Brunts in there. I
could have to go through a physical therapy lesson, I'll
og Ananobi there. But what I came up with, what
I think is probably a good one here that I'm
willing to stake on the line. I have to run

(10:51):
for forty eight minutes straight as a tribute to Tom
Thibodeau here so you can clock, you can set mileage
on it. I think it's forty eight minutes on the clock.
I have to run.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Wow, that's good, but I want to higher stakes. Think
about a making think about a marathon. Guys who won
the marathons. The guys are running for hours. You're not
ready to go for amerthon? Not that crazy, that's a
that's a five k forty eight minutes. It's not that
crazy to want forty eight minutes.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Run forty eight minutes. But this guy played soccer. He's
supposed to run forty eight minutes. He's got a point,
all right, So what are you thinking here?

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Let's let's make an interesting with a bar, right like,
Let's let's put you in a Celtics jersey. Hate the Knicks, right,
all right? Find a New York bar first of all,
green Celtics jersey. It's just as bad, all right.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Me Hating the Knicks certainly doesn't make me sa.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
No, no, But assuming the Knicks advance tonight, they'll play
the Celtics next round. You have to go to a bar,
a New York bar in Philadelphia and rep a Celtics
jersey and just be an obnoxious act like you're some
obnoxious Celtics fan in a New York bar.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
We're gonna have to send security with you for real.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna need it. Let me need a a.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
We're gonna have to sign a waiver on that one,
I would imagine from the IHIH radio folks.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
But I like your mind's at Sam, Sean, are you
comfortable with that? I can accept that.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
I'm okay with that. The Pistons are winning anyway, so
but yes, I will accept those terms.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
All right, all on Game six tonight. So that's if
it ends in the Knicks win. Sham Barnard next week
has to go to a New York or bar in
Philadelphia that hosts New York fans New York Knicks for
watch parties, and you gotta rep the a green jersey
for the Boston Celtics. I like that. Now what if this?
What if this happens? The other one's there's no point.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Of even discussing it because it's not even a possibility
that the Pistons win the night.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
But I'm open to ideas. Sean Bernard, do you have
anything in your mind for Sam? Austrey Detroit Motor City
cars come to my mind.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
We did toss out an idea of an oil change
for my car. Sam, Are you a car guy?

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Not at all, not even a little bit. I've changed
one tire in my life. I've changed a tire.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
My fear for this is I feel like there's a
punishment on my own car.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Yeah, I mean, I'm not paying for whatever happens after that,
but I'll do it.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Okay, So that doesn't work, man, I don't.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Detroit.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I also like the pizza idea here that we could
go a direct pizza bet here Detroit style versus New
York style.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
Yeah, what's the Detroit style pizza?

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Detroit is the thick, It's the thick crush Daisy Tavern
is a great one in.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Contract and just say, but go ahead, true, yeah, true, Yeah,
I will say. I'm willing.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I'm a pizza man at heart too. I spent five
years working at a pizza place. I'm willing to be
a make a New York style pizza if that's on
the table, if we want to go Detroit versus.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
I like the bar I like the bar angles. So
let's stay with that. You don't want to change, I
say we stick with the oil change.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
I do.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
I'd like to see Sam and getting dirty changes shambinards oil.
You said you need an oil change, right, it's meant
to be. Well, you know what YouTube is your definitely
where you need to go on that one.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
Okay, all of supervisions, so don't mess anything up.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
I like this. I like this. This is good. This
is good. So here it is once again for the
folks that are just joining us. Sam Austrey is backing
the New York Knicks to put an end to this series.
If that happens tonight, straight up, no points spread involved,
sham Binard, that's the rock of bosses. Celtics Jersey to
a New York Knicks watch party next week. We'll set

(14:26):
that up. We'll make that happen. I know that there
are New York esque bars that do host those type
of fans. Of course, with Villanova all that, we understand
how that works. And on the flip side, if Detroit
extends this series, Sam Oustrey's got to get his hands
dirty and change chappards oil.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
This is good. I like this, this is definitely good.
Nice all right, nice work across the board.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
And it's an even bed because it's it's really a
one and a half point spread, so it's like it's
not like it's the next or like minus six and
a half or something. I mean, this is a toss up,
a pick them of a game as you can get correct.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
Yeah, exactly. I wont Detroit to win.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
I think they're going to win tonight, and I just
think it's going to play out a lot like it
has throughout the course of this series, and it's gonna
go seven.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Right. It has a good vibe that this should go seven.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
I mean that's what we thought with Philadelphia last year too,
and then Knicks wrapped it up in six, and that
was a really competitive series. Most of the games really
good down to the wire, could have gone either way.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
That that's the vibe I'm getting. But look, the Knicks
don't look good by any strets. I've been really disappointed
with them and their coach, so I'm not too confident.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Oh, I didn't know that. I didn't know. You've been
disappointed with Yeah, have been really disappointed.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Okay, I actually give Detroit a little bit more credit
than you. Don't you think the Knicks have played a
little bit down.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
I think the Knicks just that they're not maximizing the
talent that they have, and I think they've matched Piston's physicality,
which was the big question coming in I think they've
done a good job with that, which was the Piston's
identity is how tough and physical they are. I think
the Knicks have matched that. They are just not maximizing
the offensive talent they have on the floor. And so
I think Bibbs if they lose the series, and I've

(15:58):
been saying for a while because of the personal dynamic
within that organization, Fibbs is not going anywhere. But I'm
the owner may step in at that point because he's
been a disaster this series.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
Totally agree to.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Your point, though, Sam. This is not a season or
a series specific issue with not maximizing the guys that
they have on the floor. This has been a Knixt
issue all season. They've still played like Jalen Brunson isotball.
Like I kind of had a back and forth as
has been the case throughout the NIXT series about like
the breakdown with these teams. I would argue there's not
a coaching advantage in favor of the Knicks and JB
Bigger staff hasn't been excellent by any means, but I

(16:30):
think there's more flaws that you can point to for
what Tom Thimodeau is doing with this season or with
this team and the lack of I guess what he's
juiced out of them based on the talent that he has.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
Look, I've been critical of how he's been using and
you know this, I've been critical of how he's been
using the kel bridges all year.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
I think he's been completely underutilized. But this series specifically,
just the brunts and Cat pick and rolls are way down.
I mean, those numbers from the regular season compared to now.
And I get the reasoning went Tobias Harris's guarding Cat.
I get all that, but just the numbers of those
pick and roles that those guys are using together and
pick and pop really, which are two of the more
dynamic pick and pop players.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
In the league, those have been way down.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
You would think that mckel bridges would have a bigger
role just based on the fact that Jalalen Brunson is
getting killed every time he's bringing up the floor.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
So I get it.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
You were right about what they were showing throughout the
regular season. I didnt think they had a championship running them,
but against this Pistons team and the adjustments that Tom
Thiboda was not making, That's why I've been so disappointed.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
All right, give me a twenty, Give me a twenty.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Shabannard normally joins us every well Thursdays at five o'clock,
full picks and roll. Obviously he's on the road. He
had a tear uple golf course today. So right, that's
all right. But with that, while we have you here,
give me sixty seconds. We got Markenry Junior coming up
before thirty sixty seconds on game six Nuggets and Clippers
six and a half will start.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
End there your thoughts on the spread.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Myself, I kind of think Denver Roles here. I think
the Clippers have thrown in the towe. And I've been
a Clipper supporter. I have belief in this team, but
I had straight up nightmares watching that version of this
Clippers teemed the pass game. I saw James Harden throwing
the towel in the same exact way he needed the
phildolpis seventy six uniform. Attempting four shots in a first
half is unacceptable. And even a guy like Kawhi, who

(18:07):
is clearly the superior talent out of the two of
them on that Clippers roster, he's not a guy who
exactly rallied the troops and inspire people with like, you know,
the emotion that he plays with there, I didn't see
it from him. I do think there's something to this
Nuggets team having a little bit of championship pedigree that
this Clippers team just lacks. And I do, unfortunately think
that that's going to show up again tonight.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Wow six and a half. He's wrong with the Nuggets
moneyline plus two thirty? Yep, I think it ends tonight,
all right, Sam Ostriy your thoughts on that game time?

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Complete? Other side, we have been at another event. I
don't feel that. Actually I probably feel I actually feel
way more strong that the Clippers win tonight. I got
a great one for six.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Fly me out there right now. I love has nothing
to do with that. It's everything to do with Kelly
Drive to ty that hair blonde. Yeah, now we're cooking.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
I kid.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
But anyways, you you do you think the other way?
You like the Clippers tonight minus six and a half? Yeah,
minus six and a half. I think they roll. And
I always had this series going seven. I definitely and
I haven't wavered from that at all. I still think
Clippers and seven. I don't disagree with anything Sean has
said about James Harden. I mean, he he knows that
obviously shame because.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
It felt like he was doing more this year.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
He was doing it all and he's probably gonna make
All NBA. So he had a really good season, and
that's most of his seasons have been really good season
all NBA second.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
Thirteen, second or third.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
I would argue second, he and that's of all of
his seasons have gone where they've He's been awesome.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
During like a season in the playoff, he's a no show.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
The thing with this team is why I picked the Clippers,
Candy capping into it that James Harden could have some
of these games and big moments.

Speaker 5 (19:44):
I didn't think it would matter as much because Kawhi Leonard,
I thought was playing on an all NBA level, Norman Palia, Zubach,
Derek Jones, Chris Dunne, who hasn't been great offensively, but
it was pretty good last game, at least from three.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
I thought those guys were enough to lift James Harden up.
So I think you have to rely on him as much,
and that's why I'm back in the Clippers tonight. I
think this is a classic Kawhi elimination game, when everything's
on the line, I would take Kawhi's over points, which
I believe is twenty four and a half right now.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
I think he goes for at least thirty. And he's
the obvious best.

Speaker 5 (20:15):
Player on the floor tonight, on a floor with Nikolea Jokic,
And so it's not really as much about James Harden.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
It's more about the Clippers.

Speaker 5 (20:21):
It's tylu Is the better coach in this series, and
I think the Clippers end up winning in seven, which
of course means rolling tonight.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
All right, two games two games six is a lot
of fun on our television screens this evening, all getting
