gotten to that point as far as this week is concerned.

Unbelievable with so much that's been on our plates, but
rightfully so, because again, like I said, you lay out
the big stories from the day, and that's where you
go ahead and peel the onion back essentially when you
start to do a show. But at the top of
the list is always, will always be the NFL, and
no matter if it's free agency, it is twelve months

a year, three sixty five, and we're always going to
pay attention above and beyond to the world of the NFL.
As far as NBA is concerned, we got some great games,
full slate of action, gag into court, Undraftkings, sportsbook and oh,
by the way, not one versus one, one versus two
one in the West, two in the East. We got
OKC and the Boston Celtics going head to head this evening,

So we'll talk a little bit about that in the
second half of the show here, all right, But we
open up, of course, with the NFL free agency and
we bring it home to Philadelphia because there are some rumors,
there are some people wondering on whether or not Dallas
Scotter will remain a Philadelphia Eagle, and from everything I'm gathering,
it just doesn't feel like it's going to happen. It

feels like this will be a move to free up
some money. Ultimately, you know, when you sign a J. Brown,
DeVonta Smith, Jalen her it's Lane Johnson under contract, you know,
Zach Bond.

You can't pay everybody, and.

The writing will be on the wall and some tough
decisions are going to have to be made.

And that's where we're at right now with Howie Roseman.

I can't sit here and tell you that this guy
is going to hit a home run on everything, but
I do believe he deserves every bit of an opportunity
to have or to do what he needs since he's
fit to put the best team together. Because he's been
able to do that over the past few seasons since
he's been in.

Charge of the Philadelphia Eagles.

And whether it's trading, can he Pickett at this point
in time for dtr whether or not he can make
the team, or given Barkley the extension when he was
under contract.

Are the things that Howie Roseman has to take inventory on.
And it's a lot easier said than done. But you're
talking about agents, You're talking about personalities, you're talking about
locker rooms, you're talking about captains, players that should have

are tough, tough decisions to be made. And oh, by
the way, you have to come underneath the number. And

on top of that, you have to put a team
together that can compete to win another Super Bowl. The
bar has never been higher. And also, I will add
other teams continue to get better. And that's where we're
going to focus a little bit today as far as
the division is concerned. But the big one is the
Pittsburgh Steelers for us right now, the big one yesterday
slash today. Obviously it is Dallas gott are nothing breaking

just yet as far as that is concerned. But there
are people trying to read the tea leaves. We'll see
what happens as far as that is concerned. Kenneth Gainwell,
come on down, getting a starting opportunity, getting an opportunity
to at least get more reps with the Pittsburgh Steelers,
and we'll see what he's able to do. As far
as what's Pittsburgh's belief in Kenneth gained Well, who you know. Look,

he's only been in the league for a few seasons.
He's twenty five twenty six years old tops, and every
time that he's gotten opportunity, he's made the most of it. No,
I'm not gonna sit here and say that Kenneth Gainwell
could be a number one back in the NFL. I
would not go as far to say that. There are
people that have put their name on that that that

statement though, and specifically last year before Saquon Barkley was signed,
there were people out there banging the drum for Gainwell.
That's a guy you need to give an opportunity. I'm
not gonna sit here and tell you that we learned
what we need to know because of how he did
signing Saquon Barkley. No, No, I wouldn't do that at all.

I would say that Saquon Barkley is one of the best,
if not the best running back in the game. Hobby
Roseman saw an opportunity to bring him in and it
was the right move. But if you were to ask
me again, game weell as one. I just don't see
that now. Is he a good piece to have on
your offense? Absolutely sawid third down back. As far as receptions,

I don't really remember Gainwell being that good out of
the backfield.

I mean again, I'm sure he had a couple of catches,
but nothing too crazy. But Gainwell is very shifty.

He's a guy that that seems to have a good
head on his shoulders. I thought he was okay with
pass blocking or else, he would not have been out
there in those spots. And when he had to give
Sakawa Barkley a blow, like he stepped up and he
could carry the ball, you know, ten times if you
need him in a game, he could carry the ball
one time and still stay locked in. Like there's some

positives with Kenneth Gainwell bringing him into Pittsburgh. So I'm intrigued.
I'm intrigued what the Steelers have in store for Kenneth Gainwell,
we'll see how that one plays out. But ultimately that
was the big movie yesterday, a little bit yesterday and
of course into today from the Eagles perspective, who have
already taken a hit and then some on the defensive
side of the ball. Now, what will happen after losing

you know, all these pieces and then if you're going
to top on Dallas Godder and I'll keep you update
on anything and everything that does happen, whether or not
Dallas Goddter.

to really cash in and get that big time deal.

Last season he had forty two graves four in ninety

I have no issues with that whatsoever. It is a
tough pill to swallow for Eagles fans, though, it just
is this team is completely resetting on a few key spots.

With the fifty three man depth chart, fifty three man roster,
and we have to be patient. It was put out
there by Howie Roseman saying, hey, look we're going to
go through things. I need this team, I need these
fans to be patient. And he's earned every bit of that.
So I think Eagles fans need to realize that, look,

going through a few things at this point in time,
some changes will be made, but all in all, the
bread and butter is still there. From Jalen Hurts, aj Brown,
DeVonta Smith offensive line, Sakwon Barkley coaching staff, and over
into the secondary. You got those two young rookies, well

no longer rookies, but two young studs, and Quinyon and
Gooper Red blanket Ship has played well up front, Nolan Smith,
Nikobe Dean not going anywhere, Zach Bond staying, Jordan Davis
still here. You know you're gonna have to fill in
some of those big time spots on the defensive line.

Said, like you got to give Howie Roseman a benefit
of doubt, well I think you have to do that
to do. Same with Vic Fangio as well. I really do,
because that is the main piece to this puzzle, right

the in the Eagles building, and look what happened the

difference from that season to this season, if we're going
to compare, and that is the defensive coordinators, the coaching staff.

One, I'm not trying to say Rogers was great. That's
number one. Let's put that front and center. But we
also have to believe and realize that nobody's gonna say
anything worth the damn positive about Aaron Rodgers from everything
he brings to the table, he's not liked. His personality
is smug, very arrogant, very confident, and it's fun to

kick a man when he's down, especially when he's been
pretty successful.

Like Rodgers has before mvpiece, but he brings.

It upon himself. He wears that bulls eye in the
back and we understand it. But last year twenty eight
touchdowns to eleven interceptions, sixty three percent completion of percentage

the injury, there was a lot there like do we
really think that the Jets are gonna be successful? I
know I did not. Should they have been better? Absolutely,

but that was a disaster from start to finish. And
now here we are with the Pittsburgh Steelers. What I
would say is, look at what Tomlin has been able
to do with Drek at the quarterback position. Is Aaron
Rodgers a bump up from Russell Wilson and what they
were able to get at the quarterback position last year?

yes or no statement answer on that, I would say yes,
and I believe he will be. But ultimately, Mike Tomlin,
Arthur Smith, that squad as a whole will come up
with a plan and at bare minimum we'll finish five hundred.
As they often flirt around, and I would say from

The Baltimore Rivens are going to win that division.

The Pitts or the Cincinnati Bengals are going to be
the runner ups in that division. You're fighting for a
wildcard spot. And I do believe that Aaron Rodgers as
a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers could very well could
very well make them again a wildcard team with potentially

a shot at winning that wildcard matchup.

Which we never gave them any bit of an a
doubt or any shot to do so this season. Now,
we do know.

That Aaron Rodgers likes to jump out with Pat McAfee.
They have that partnership, they have that relationship, they have
that whatever it may be he's getting paid, don't know,
don't care, but McAfee's having that Pittsburgh show. He's doing
this special Pittsburgh show in Pittsburgh. And I would just
imagine want it to be funny if Aaron Rodgers came

walking out there as you know, the new quarterback for
the Pittsburgh Steelers. And we'll see what happens as far
as that is concerned. Pittsburgh could very well end up
with Aaron Rodgers four time MVP, ten time Pro Bowler,

seventh most yards in NFL history, fifth most touchdowns in
league history. And that's probably gonna bring some excitement because
they've been able to do some things as far as
DK Metcalf, Kenned came, well, of course Darius Slay.

Whether that's already done or not, who knows. We'll see
what happens.

But something to keep our eye on as far as
NFL free agency is concerned. All right, one more of
those NFL and that's bo. So we talked about Joey Bosa.
Where was he gonna end up? Five time Pro bowler,
nine years and all in LA with the Chargers, and
he finally found a spot. He's heading to the Buffalo Bills.
And all I know is, I think that's that's a

pretty darn good move. Another guy that is, he deals
with a ton of injuries and if you can keep
him healthy, look out. But one year, twelve point six
million dollar deal he signed with the Buffalo Bills to
go and help them on the front line. Excuse me,

if you remember correctly, they weren't able to get after
Patrick Mahomes. They have thirty nine total sacks in twenty
twenty four down from fifty four to twenty twenty three.
Decent as far as takeaways are concerned, but he's just
another body that can get after the quarterback and make
life difficult whoever they're going up against.

So you have Vaughn.

Von Miller was in as far as the Buffalo Bills,
big time pass rusher, and he was let go from
the Bills no longer with the Bills, let go on Sunday.
And when you're talking about a guy like Bosa, could
he step right in and fill in as far as

what von Miller was able to do. Now, von Miller
didn't really have that great of a season last year.
He was dealing with a bunch of stuff that he
got suspended. But I think Bosa could come in rejuvenated,
playing on a winning squad and have more of an
impact than Von Miller did.

There's a lot of similarities when you think about both
of those guys, between Vaughn and Joey Bosa. Vaughn was
definitely a much better player in his prime, but Bosa
was a pretty big deal And as far as his
career is concerned, he's got seventy two career sacks, second
in Chargers history pop quiz.

Who's number one on that list? Leslie O'Neill.

The big knock on him though, has been injury prone,
and he's a guy that's look, you know, when you
talk about the Bosas and you look at what his
brother's doing in San Francisco, he just expect a little
bit more and we'll see if he's able to bring
that for Buffalo. But as far as I'm concerned, that's
a good move. You need bodies, you need bodies, you

need guys get after their quarterback and boast they'll be
able to do exactly that. All right, Keeping a moving
here on Wednesday, We've got a lot to discuss, As
I said, NFL free agency front and center for us
here Aaron Rodgers conversation. They were talking about Minnesota this morning.
You know what, I'm gonna have to tell you that
I got wrong with JJ McCarthy. If he plays well
and he's got Kevin O'Connell as his head coach, he's

got those great receivers.

If he steps in and.

Plays well next year, I'm gonna have to eat eat
some words because I was not a big JJ McCarthy fan,
But man, he's getting into a really good spot, giving
them all the time in the world, and they were
trying to float the idea out that possibly Rogers could
go to Minnesota and then hold it down until McCarthy
is ready. I think that is a bad move. Just
go ahead, and if you need to bring in somebody

to start the season off, that's fine, but not Rogers.
Don't do Rogers because you're immediately gonna hand that over
to McCarthy and that would just be too much of
a headache. If Rogers comes out and you're winning games.

his type of season.

night or yesterday in the Champions League.

to fade off. But this kid for Barcelona is the

so odd where you just don't know what's happening.

Don't know what it is. But all in all, he
was out there warming up. He can't go, so he's
gonna miss today. He hasn't played in a long time.
But when you talk about matchup like this, number one
versus number two and potentially could very well be the
Eastern Conference or it could very well be the NBA Finals,

And I'm not here to argue that these two teams
already matched up back on January fifth. Oklahoma City got

little difficult on the SGA. So I would tend to
fade on SGA and look else where as far as

you to go under on anything SGA. He's that good.
But maybe we live a little dangerously this evening at
thirty three and a half. Maybe this is a moment
where we say, you know what, I can live with
him finishing with twenty seven, twenty eight, twenty nine, but
I don't see him getting at that thirty five range.
That could be a good play in your mind, minus

pay attention above and beyond to the world of the NFL.
As far as NBA is concerned, we got some great games,

it just doesn't feel like it's going to happen. It

feels like this will be a move to free up
some money. Ultimately, you know, when you sign a J. Brown,
DeVonta Smith, Jalen her it's Lane Johnson under contract, you know,
Zach Bond.

The writing will be on the wall and some tough
decisions are going to have to be made.

is going to hit a home run on everything, but
I do believe he deserves every bit of an opportunity
to have or to do what he needs since he's

able to do that over the past few seasons since
he's been in.

Charge of the Philadelphia Eagles.

And whether it's trading, can he Pickett at this point
in time for dtr whether or not he can make
the team, or given Barkley the extension when he was

Are the things that Howie Roseman has to take inventory on.
And it's a lot easier said than done. But you're
talking about agents, You're talking about personalities, you're talking about

the way, you have to come underneath the number. And

on top of that, you have to put a team
together that can compete to win another Super Bowl. The
bar has never been higher. And also, I will add
other teams continue to get better. And that's where we're
going to focus a little bit today as far as
the division is concerned. But the big one is the
Pittsburgh Steelers for us right now, the big one yesterday
slash today. Obviously it is Dallas gott are nothing breaking

just yet as far as that is concerned. But there
are people trying to read the tea leaves. We'll see
what happens as far as that is concerned. Kenneth Gainwell,
come on down, getting a starting opportunity, getting an opportunity
to at least get more reps with the Pittsburgh Steelers,
and we'll see what he's able to do. As far
as what's Pittsburgh's belief in Kenneth gained Well, who you know. Look,

he's only been in the league for a few seasons.
He's twenty five twenty six years old tops, and every
time that he's gotten opportunity, he's made the most of it. No,
I'm not gonna sit here and say that Kenneth Gainwell
could be a number one back in the NFL. I
would not go as far to say that. There are
people that have put their name on that that that

statement though, and specifically last year before Saquon Barkley was signed,
there were people out there banging the drum for Gainwell.
That's a guy you need to give an opportunity. I'm
not gonna sit here and tell you that we learned
what we need to know because of how he did
signing Saquon Barkley. No, No, I wouldn't do that at all.

I would say that Saquon Barkley is one of the best,
if not the best running back in the game. Hobby
Roseman saw an opportunity to bring him in and it
was the right move. But if you were to ask
me again, game weell as one. I just don't see
that now. Is he a good piece to have on
your offense? Absolutely sawid third down back. As far as receptions,

I don't really remember Gainwell being that good out of
the backfield.

I mean again, I'm sure he had a couple of catches,
but nothing too crazy. But Gainwell is very shifty.

He's a guy that that seems to have a good
head on his shoulders. I thought he was okay with
pass blocking or else, he would not have been out
there in those spots. And when he had to give
Sakawa Barkley a blow, like he stepped up and he
could carry the ball, you know, ten times if you
need him in a game, he could carry the ball
one time and still stay locked in. Like there's some

positives with Kenneth Gainwell bringing him into Pittsburgh. So I'm intrigued.
I'm intrigued what the Steelers have in store for Kenneth Gainwell,
we'll see how that one plays out. But ultimately that
was the big movie yesterday, a little bit yesterday and
of course into today from the Eagles perspective, who have
already taken a hit and then some on the defensive
side of the ball. Now, what will happen after losing

you know, all these pieces and then if you're going
to top on Dallas Godder and I'll keep you update
on anything and everything that does happen, whether or not
Dallas Goddter.

and we have to be patient. It was put out
there by Howie Roseman saying, hey, look we're going to
go through things. I need this team, I need these
fans to be patient. And he's earned every bit of that.

some changes will be made, but all in all, the
bread and butter is still there. From Jalen Hurts, aj Brown,
DeVonta Smith offensive line, Sakwon Barkley coaching staff, and over
into the secondary. You got those two young rookies, well

no longer rookies, but two young studs, and Quinyon and
Gooper Red blanket Ship has played well up front, Nolan Smith,
Nikobe Dean not going anywhere, Zach Bond staying, Jordan Davis
still here. You know you're gonna have to fill in
some of those big time spots on the defensive line.

would say is, look at what Tomlin has been able
to do with Drek at the quarterback position. Is Aaron

If you add if you made me give you a
yes or no statement answer on that, I would say yes,
and I believe he will be. But ultimately, Mike Tomlin,
Arthur Smith, that squad as a whole will come up
with a plan and at bare minimum we'll finish five hundred.
As they often flirt around, and I would say from

the looking at the future of that division.

The Baltimore Rivens are going to win that division.

The Pitts or the Cincinnati Bengals are going to be
the runner ups in that division. You're fighting for a

very well make them again a wildcard team with potentially

a shot at winning that wildcard matchup.

imagine want it to be funny if Aaron Rodgers came

walking out there as you know, the new quarterback for
the Pittsburgh Steelers. And we'll see what happens as far
as that is concerned. Pittsburgh could very well end up
with Aaron Rodgers four time MVP, ten time Pro Bowler,

seventh most yards in NFL history, fifth most touchdowns in
league history. And that's probably gonna bring some excitement because
they've been able to do some things as far as
DK Metcalf, Kenned came, well, of course Darius Slay.

Whether that's already done or not, who knows. We'll see

But something to keep our eye on as far as
NFL free agency is concerned. All right, one more of
those NFL and that's bo. So we talked about Joey Bosa.
Where was he gonna end up? Five time Pro bowler,
nine years and all in LA with the Chargers, and
he finally found a spot. He's heading to the Buffalo Bills.
And all I know is, I think that's that's a

pretty darn good move. Another guy that is, he deals
with a ton of injuries and if you can keep
him healthy, look out. But one year, twelve point six
million dollar deal he signed with the Buffalo Bills to
go and help them on the front line. Excuse me,

if you remember correctly, they weren't able to get after
Patrick Mahomes. They have thirty nine total sacks in twenty
twenty four down from fifty four to twenty twenty three.
Decent as far as takeaways are concerned, but he's just
another body that can get after the quarterback and make
life difficult whoever they're going up against.

Von Miller was in as far as the Buffalo Bills,
big time pass rusher, and he was let go from
the Bills no longer with the Bills, let go on Sunday.

didn't really have that great of a season last year.
He was dealing with a bunch of stuff that he
got suspended. But I think Bosa could come in rejuvenated,
playing on a winning squad and have more of an
impact than Von Miller did.

There's a lot of similarities when you think about both
of those guys, between Vaughn and Joey Bosa. Vaughn was
definitely a much better player in his prime, but Bosa

The big knock on him though, has been injury prone,

one of my best friends who was in the world
of medicine way in the early two thousands, and he

used to tell me that everybody was on some form
of HGH.

He used to argue left and right with him about
those guys. Guess what he's potentially most likely right.

Tiger Woods with the roptured achilles tendon news that came
down yesterday after playing the TGL and just trying to
get it going so he could play in the Masters
next month.

It's over.

It's over, and it's unfortunate that we're gonna see one
of the greats in his career, whatever way he chooses
to go out from here on now, he's not gonna
listen to Sean Brace over here in Philadelphia. But I'm
I'm over it, you know, And I'm pulling for Tiger.
I don't want to see him done, like, never play

eighteen holes at high level ever again. But there will
be plenty of opportunities that he can get involved, whether
it's a match or the TGL or like I said,
if he does play around an Augusta right, like, oh
well he plays one round, we keep it moving. But
when we're talking about Tiger Woods, it plays some money.
And I don't know who was at this point in time,

but people always were taking a flyer on him just
because of who he is. That's the wrong way to
go about it. Again, the news coming down yesterday ruption
Achilles Tendon, it's time to wave the white flag when
it comes to Elgrick Tiger Woods. Pains me to say it,
but it's the reality, all right.
