So my phone stops working on Friday. This whole weekend,
I just have not been able to contact anyone for

So Saturday I had to go all the way at
the Westchester did the party. Couldn't get to the store

place they now moved and on the windows is sign

can't sign off on a new plan. I'm with my

you drafting of running back with that pick, and I
know Saquon even his name was being discussed, it was
a bad pick. There are plenty of folks that are
way too smart for themselves on the timeline that will
continue to bang that drama about drafting a running back

win games and build yourself a pretty damn good franchise

and fortieth birthday party, A DJ at fiftieth birthday party
over the weekend was tremendous, great, loving it. And I'm
at the Daisy Tavern in Conchak and every Friday night
that's where the fiftieth birthday party was.

On Friday, my mother had a little bit of a scare,
so I had to run her to the er. She

the system. So that was my deal Friday, do the
do the birthday party Friday.

Friday night, my phone stops working.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
But this is all within a twenty four hour period.
No idea why. I'm told it was because of this
new update. There's an issue with my phone. Was a
little beat up. I was in line for a new
one that got that text six months ago like, oh
you get a new phone.

You know this, they're gonna whack you. I don't care.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
As long as my phone works, I just don't care.
So my phone stops working on Friday. This whole weekend,
I just have not been able to contact anyone for
the most part, been okay social media, like can't pull
it up on the phone.

Nothing.

So Saturday I had to go all the way at
the Westchester did the party. Couldn't get to the store
on Saturday, had something else going on during the daytime.
So Sunday morning, wake up. First thing, go to the
AT and T store. I go to the AT and
T store in King of Prussia. I get to the
place they now moved and on the windows is sign

with QR codes. My phone doesn't work, so now I'm
trying to figure out where where I'm at. Right you like,
trust me, I'm gonna have another take on why this
is scaring me? But I had no idea the name
of Rhodes. Couldn't call my wife to just say, hey,

where is this place? Like I'm taking a left here,
work with me. My phone was just completely shot, crazy,
absolutely crazy, y two k coming for our computers.

Nothing would plug it into my Apple car Play and
it wouldn't connect. So completely shot. So then I go
to the King of Prussian mall because I know there's
an AT and T store. I'm in there five minutes in.
This kid probably like twenty seven, twenty eight, too old

to be like this, but he was such a you
know what, smart ass like, the first thing he says
to me was, hey, you pay that much for your bill?

What like?

And I'm like sitting there with him, like, what do
you mean, Oh, you need you need to get a
new a new.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Uh a new uh.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Not a new bill, but a new plan. Excuse me,
new plan. You gotta get a new plan. I'm like,
I'm bro I'm gonna get a new phone. I don't
want a new plan. Just give me a phone. I
just want to go home. I got Sunday NFL coming
up here. I'm in my Eagle shirt and like all
I did, I was just completely respectful. I go, I
can't sign off on a new plan. I'm with my
you know my wife is on that plan. I gotta

have her with me. I'm not trying to sign anything
on a dotted line. Plus, I know that I'm on
my original plan. So anytime I go and deal with
AT and T, they're always like, oh, this is grandfather
and you gotta get off that. Because I just got
unlimited streaming. I don't know what they do. I just
don't want to change anything. I know what my number is.

I'm good. So this dude.

Starts telling me I can't get a new phone unless
I get a new plan. I'm like, what, I like,
I gotta get a second take on this, and I
can't call anyone, so like, would you mind getting your manager?
And he's like, oh, he's not here. I'm like, all right,
so this is my choice. It's either I get a
new plan or I don't get a new phone. And
he was like, well, let me go see, and he

walked into the back room. I left. He like, well,
I just trust me on this. If you get a
bad vibe, bad feeling, don't don't think.

Like just leave, just walk away. Well, go deal with
somebody else.

It's a you know, you got these other franchises that
you could stop, these other stores you can call people
like all right, this was the one dude.

I got a bad vibe, so I left, the smartest
thing I could have done. So anyways, then I say,
all right, well let me look for the AT and
T store that's on this road. I drive around the area.

Now, this AT and T store just moved on like
October eleventh, So ten days ago, eight days ago, whatever
it was. The girl tells me, first of all, they

they had none of them in stock, like they got

It's just like, I just want a phone. I'm not like,
I don't care. Is it a new one? Is it

All right, good, We're about to get everything hooked up
to the cloud, which seems to be pretty easy. And

into a new building. And she told me that they

I swear to you that, like they can't hook my
phone up in this place. All right, whatever, I'll take
it home.

I'll go to my internet where I'm not in a
hot spot, and I will hook up this phone.

Should have known better, should have own better. I get home.

Next thing you know, it's restoring, it's resinking, it's updating,
it's upgrading, it's doing everything bat shutting off bells and whistles, boom.
I now have a phone that had literally I'm telling you,
I backed up my phone probably a year ago. I
think I saw like text messages on there from like

six months ago. Am I often plugging my phone into
my MacBook? No shame on me, But at least a
year a year, maybe six months, so I don't have
that many new numbers. In the last six months. All
the Gambler gang would have been in there. I'm like, mom,
my wife, all that would have been in there, none
of it. I have a brand new, fresh There wasn't

one picture, and all these contacts are from like two
thousand and nine. My trio, remember those phones. My trio
was like oh six oh seven. The contexts of my
trio are in my phone right now. There's like one
hundred numbers and none of them are from twenty twenty
eighteen and beyond. So I have every time someone's texting me, now,

I'm like, copy paste new phone.

These people have changed the chargers the last five years,
probably four different times. My MacBook has a new charger

this weekend. So I was really happy that I could

My fantasy team was terrible. My DFS team was terrible.

go back to that barrel. I knew it. I had

I'm wondering what would happen if I kept them in

the MVP or was obviously for National League whatever. But
if you had to pick one MVP for the league,

the MVP for the whole league. However, we got this
World Series coming on starting on Friday, Game one in LA,
