Welcome to The Deputy Podcast - The Official Podcast of the Oconee County Sheriff's Office - SC! We're introducing a NEW Segment as part of The Deputy Podcast titled "In The Know" to help answer questions that viewers and listeners may have regarding various topics, such as various laws, ordinances, and more. "In The Know" is designed to educate our community on the various topics discussed from a practical standpoint.
To kick off the "In The Know" segment, we are talking about the Oconee County Noise Ordinance. In this episode, our host and founder of The Deputy Podcast, Cpl. Jimmy Watt, goes through the Oconee County Noise Ordinance section by section to help you be more knowledgeable about the ordinance and what is not only prohibited, but also what is permitted, the rules and regulations regarding permits, and potential penalties for violations. Jimmy also discusses some of the technology used in the enforcement of the Noise Ordinance and what you need to know to be in compliance, thus avoiding costly fines and penalties.
