Speaker 1 (00:00):
You get to see people just like you, but maybe 10, 15
steps ahead of you, and so theyget to be your real life vision
board.
So not a picture you cut outfrom the magazine or from some
conference where you don't knowanybody, but these are real
people that you know.
This is what happens whenyou're in the right room.
Hi docs, welcome to the EntreMDpodcast, where it's all about

(00:22):
helping amazing physicians justlike you embrace
entrepreneurship so you can havethe freedom to live life and
practice medicine on your terms.
I'm your host, dr Imna.
When I started my journey as anentrepreneur, one of the
mantras I used to say and justbecause I heard it so often is

(00:42):
there's no shortcut to success.
But the truth of the matter isthere is.
There is a shortcut.
In fact, there are a number ofshortcuts.
Mentors and coaches will be.
You know two of them, but thethird one is really being in the
right room.
Okay, and I'm going to talk toyou about the power of being in
the right room, how to engagewith that so you can get the
most of it, and it's going toabsolutely rock your world, and

(01:09):
if you implement this strategy, what it will do is it will set
you up where you're in yourbusiness and your journey as an
entrepreneur is no longer oneplus one is equal to two.
It's like one plus one is equalto who knows, like who knows
how amazing this is going to be.
Okay, it's happened for me andI'll give you a few examples of
that and I expect the exact samething for you.
Okay, and as a physicianentrepreneur, every single year,
there is an event which is oneof the most powerful events for

(01:30):
physicians who want to build six, seven, a multiple seven figure
businesses, and it's calledEntree MD Live.
It's coming up June the 7th,from 10 AM to 4 PM, so it's a
whole day event.
It's in Atlanta, georgia.
You want to be in the room?
Okay, because in this room andwe have had so many
transformations there was adoctor who came on there.
She flew in from California, came, attended the events.

(01:52):
A series of things happenedafter that, but then, after that
, her very next quarter inbusiness, her revenue was 122%
higher than it was Right andpeople have linked so many
breakthroughs to this event.
It's called Entremdi Live, entremdicom forward slash live.
You can get your tickets.
You can get a regular ticket oryou can get a VIP tickets,
which I would highly recommend, because then you get to have

(02:14):
even more access to the thingsthat I'm going to show you.
Okay, so Entremdicom forwardslash live is June the 7th.
It is a do not miss, okay, allright, so I want to show you
five powerful things that happento you when you're in the right
room.
Okay, so, starting from numberone, number one is you get
access to proven strategies.

(02:35):
Now, the reason why this is soimportant is because we live in
a time where people flat outjust lie.
Okay, they lie on social media, they lie on their websites and
they just make up stuff.
Right, I've had people, youknow, who are talking about how
to build seven figure businesses, and they have never done it.
I have people who are tellingyou of all kinds of things that

(02:55):
they can do, but they have neverdone it.
Okay, so these people are likethey're all about theory.
They have never experiencedwhat they're talking about.
And now, where you have AI,people are just, you know, again
going into AI and pulling outall this content that makes it
seem like they know what they'redoing, when they don't.
Now, the thing that makes thatdifficult is that people can

(03:15):
only give what they have, and sothey can get anything from AI,
or they could get anything fromanybody else's website, or they
can make up whatever they wantto make up, but they will not be
able to help other peoplecreate the transformation
because they don't really knowwhat they're talking about.
Now, when you are in the rightroom, you are in the room with
people Typically it would besomebody who is a leader or a

(03:38):
mentor, along with people whohave used that framework and use
that system and things likethat to create results, and so
you get access to things thatactually work right Like are
proven to work.
People have done them and theyhave results.
Why is this powerful?
It's powerful because all ittakes is one strategy, one

(03:59):
strategy, and what one strategycan do in your business and in
your life as an entrepreneur isit can literally change
everything.
Now, that doesn't mean you'regoing to get one.
You could get a ton, but I'msaying the barrier is so low
because you just need one.
Now I remember an event I wentfor and it was a bunch of, you
know, female CEOs and stuff likethat, and we were just having a

(04:20):
launch, a casual, very casualconversation, and you know I was
talking to someone who wrote abook and I'm like, oh my
goodness, congratulations, youknow, on this book you wrote,
and all of that.
And I started I wanted to getinformation from her, like you
know.
So what was your process like?
Mind you, this was at lunch, this was not a major session or
anything like that, but that'sthe power of events, that's what
happens there.

(04:40):
And then she's she startedtelling me about how she doesn't
start books from scratch, thatshe repurposes, you know, some
content that she's had and then, instead of just writing all the
information, she makes heroutline, decides what she needs
to create the content you know, the book around, like what the

(05:00):
outline of the book is going tobe, and then she creates content
around that and then so it endsup being content that will be
on her podcast or on her YouTubechannel, in her program and
things like that, and she justgathers all of that and puts it
together and that becomes herbook, right, and then she works
with an editor and all of thosethings, and that, like going
into detail and looking at thatwhole process and she gave me

(05:22):
the whole process process is thereason why I'm able to write
three books a year, and thisyear we're on track to do four
books a year.
Right, and it's really highquality, really transformative,
because you know, that's that'smy core values.
The content I create musttransform lives and it's doing
all of those things.
And it was just in aconversation.
It was a conversation.
If we did not have thatconversation, the most I would

(05:44):
have done was a book a year.
Chances are I would have done abook every other year.
But for me, this is so importantbecause I feel like, oh, my
goodness, you have so much togive the world and you have to
put it in such a way that peoplegetting it does not depend
directly on you.
Hence all the books, right?
So, anyway, so it's onestrategy, just one.
It's the same thing when I makeleaps, like revenue leaps, is

(06:06):
just sitting with people andhearing one strategy, I'm like,
ah, like I didn't know that.
And so, when you're in theright room, right, not having
the right strategy can cost youyears.
It could even cost you notbeing able to do what you set
out to do.
So, for instance, for me, Iwould not have been able to
write the number of books that Iintend to write if I didn't

(06:27):
have access to that strategy andI would just say you know like
it's a really nice thing, butyou know that I wanted to do but
it's a Herculean task.
Nobody can really do that, andI could have left the planet
having written 10 books, 12books, 15 books, and it'd be
like, oh my goodness, that's soamazing Not knowing that it
could have been 70 books, rightand so being in the right room.
If you think about thechallenges you're having in

(06:48):
business milestone, they've notbeen able to.
We've had people come for ourevents and they're just like I
know I need to raise my prices.
I know that's going to be thebiggest game changer in my
business.
They just can't figure out howto pull it off and in one event,
on their way to the bathroom, like somebody has a conversation
with them, and they're likethat's it and they go and change
their prices and their businesschanges completely after that.
That's what I'm talking about.

(07:09):
So you have access to realthings that work and have worked
in real businesses, creatingreal results.
Okay, and so when you come forEntreeMD Live, that's what
you're going to experience.
So think about any area of yourbusiness where you're
experiencing a big challenge.
It's not because that challengeis insurmountable.
It's because probably there's astrategy that's missing right,

(07:32):
even if it's a mindset strategy,but there's a strategy missing
and in one conversation or inone session or in one breakout
session, or whatever, you getaccess to what it is that you
need.
Okay, so being in the rightroom is the formula for quantum
leaps.
It is, when we have clientevents, for instance, we have
people who have come time aftertime because they know and they

(07:52):
come with this understandingthat things are about to change
right, because they know that'swhat's going to happen.
So that's the very first thingthings are about to change right
, because they know that'swhat's going to happen.
So that's the very first thing.
The second thing is that you getto have access to real life
vision boards Okay, the thingsthat you're trying to do.
You get to meet with realhumans like you who are doing
that, and what that does for youis it takes what you're trying

(08:13):
to do from this realm of who cando such a thing as that to we.
The people do things like that, and when you meet them, what
you will find out is they havechallenges just like you do.
They have fears just like youdo.
They have mind drama, just likeyou do, but it may be in
different areas or more evolvedmind drama or whatever, but they
have all these things Like yougo, like wait, they're pretty
normal.
And what it does is it puts youin a place where it's so easy

(08:39):
to believe, so much easier tobelieve, that you can pull off
what you're trying to pull off, okay, and so I love this because
it's no longer something otherpeople can do.
It's something I can do.
My processes and the wins thatI've had and all of that is
because I represent a lot ofthis should not happen to

(09:03):
somebody like you, right?
And so you know.
First of all, when you look atthe data, the number of
businesses owned byAfrican-Americans that make it
past the 1 million or $2 millionmark it is a very small
percentage.
We're talking like 0.05 or 0.05.
I don't remember what thenumber is, but it's a very small
number and I share that so Ican be a vision board.

(09:23):
So everyone who'sAfrican-American, who has been
told that statistic and whobelieves that statistic,
understands that.
No, that is true.
Like the statistic is true, butI can rise above that right.
Like there's an example ofwhat's possible.
I also do that because I'mfemale and again, there is the
statistics of the number offemale owned businesses that
make it to a million or twomillion in revenue, and when

(09:45):
someone sees those statistics, they can say, hey, but Dr Una,
though, right.
And so what that does is like, here you are, you're there, I'm
there, we're looking at eachother, you're looking at a real
life vision board, right, it'slike, oh, the reason why I can't
do this is because I have kids.
Well, I have four kids and Ihomeschool, said, four kids.
And again, that is to be anexample, to say, hey, guys, we
can do this.

(10:05):
And one of the things that Ihear people say a lot is oh, you
know, pediatrician, we're justlowly pediatricians, right,
because it's one of the lowestpaying specialties, but I know
that entrepreneurship is thegreat equalizer.
I know that entrepreneurship isthe great equalizer and so,
even though I'm a pediatrician,you know I can choose.
I'm going to earn like aneurosurgeon.
Business will make thatpossible for me, right.
And so, when you know, whensomebody who is like all the

(10:27):
negative not negatives, likeit's bad, but all the quote,
unquote disadvantages, which Idon't see it as a disadvantage,
but that's a conversation for adifferent day.
But so you have anAfrican-American female with
four kids who's a pediatrician, right, why do I constantly share
my lens?
I can be a vision board foranybody who falls in these

(10:47):
categories and they go like huh, well, I guess I could, how did
she do it?
Right, how did she do it?
And so that's one example.
But whatever that is, people say, oh well, you know.
For instance, like with theentrepreneur business school
work for me, I'm older and yousee people who are in their
fifties and their sixties andthey're crushing it as
entrepreneurs, which is yourthing.
Like, huh, I guess I couldthrive at this.

(11:09):
Or people were like well, Ijust left residency, and you see
people who are early stagecareers and they're crushing it.
And you see people well, I justhad a baby.
And you'll see people who areactively having babies, actively
building this, and so you getto see people just like you, but
maybe 10, 15 steps ahead of you, and so they get to be your
real life vision board.

(11:29):
So not a picture you cut outfrom the magazine or from some
conference where you don't knowanybody, but these are real
people that you know.
This is what happens whenyou're in the right room.
It normalizes the challengesthat you're having and it draws
the possibility of what you'vebeen dreaming of.
Okay.
The third thing is that it opensyou up to brand new
possibilities, things that youdidn't even think about.

(11:50):
Right, and this is one of thebeautiful things about, you know
, being an entrepreneur andworking that process of becoming
an entrepreneur is that yousuddenly start getting exposed
to things that you never thoughtwas possible.
I will tell you, like when Iset goals for my businesses
earlier on, I mean I had greatplans.
You know I was like, okay, Iguess you know we'll hit seven

(12:11):
figures in revenue and stufflike this, but where I have
landed is so much bigger, somuch wilder than anything that I
planned and I didn't simply didnot think I'll be where I am,
and not because I thought aboutit.
It's like no, I could never getthere.
I just didn't think about it.
Like when I say I'm a serialentrepreneur, I still have to

(12:33):
pinch myself and say that isfascinating, that I'll use those
words to describe myself.
But it is true, it is true.
And so it opens up your eyes tothings that were not possible.
There are people who've come toour events.
And in fact there was a ladywho came for the last Entree, md
Live, and you know she wasburning out, you know.
So she had the job that she wasdoing, she had her business.

(12:55):
She was doing on the side, ifyou will.
She had her kids, her family, all of those things.
And she discovered, like yes, there's a team for work, but I
can also have a home team.
So she discovered, oh, mygoodness, I can build out this
home team, and if I build outthis home team, I'll get so much
of my time back.
And then, when she was like, okay, so how do I do it?

(13:16):
And then she found out, likeokay, so how do I do it?
And then she found out, likeyou have people who are paid,
you have people who are unpaid, you have whatever.
And it dawned on her that therewere people that were actually
asking her to help her in thatcapacity, being exposed to
possibilities that she did notknow she had.
Right, and so 10 hours a week.

(13:43):
And then she used that to workon her business and start
creating massive growth,unbelievably massive growth.
And why did she do that?
Why, because she was in theright room.
And so there are things thatyou're not even thinking about,
but they will expose you tothose things.
They will expose you to thosethings, whether it's revenue
milestones, whether it's boardsyou could be on, whether it's

(14:06):
team members that you can have, whether it's how to leverage the
team members you have already, whether it's how to manage your
calendar so you can buy so muchtime back.
There's so much that you're noteven thinking about what you'll
get exposed to.
So imagine walking away for aconference where you're like, oh
, my goodness, the goals I setfor myself this year are
fantastic, but I need to editthem.
Okay, number four.

(14:26):
Number four is that you gain anew circle.
Now let me say this, especiallyfor my introverts One of the
things that we will encourage alot during Entremdi Live is
networking, and I don't worry ifyou're an introvert and you
just made it go like, oh, Ithought I was just about to
register and get my tickets, butI guess I'm not going to.
No, don't do that.
I'm an introvert, so I willhelp you do it in a way that an

(14:49):
introvert can do it and thrive.
So you're okay, but one of thethings we'll do is we'll get you
to network, because this is thething.
In a room like that, one of thethings you want to do is you
want to grow your circle.
You want to grow your innercircle with people who are, like
you, going where you're tryingto go Maybe there are a few
steps ahead of you or maybeyou're a few steps ahead of them
and you can support them andstuff like that but just have
access to more people and morepeople who are winning and more

(15:11):
people who are crushing it andmore people who believe in
collaboration over competitionand stuff like that.
And so now you know when youwant to hang out or you just
want to talk to people aboutwhat you're doing with your
business and you find that inyour world there's so many
naysayers and they're just notbuying what you're selling,
meaning they're not buying yourvision.
Now you have people to talk towho get it and people who won't

(15:33):
shoot your dreams down andthings like that.
Right, you acquire new friendsand there are many people I've
met at events and we've gone onto I mean, like we've been
friends for over a decade and wejust met at an event, right,
and stuff like that, not justany event, but again being in
the right room, right, okay, sothat's number four.
Now, number five is a lot offun and that is, you know, new

(15:58):
inner circle opportunities andthat's the opportunity for you
to be in inner circles of peoplewho are crushing it in a whole
new way.
So, for instance, at EntremdyLive, one of the conversations
that will come up a lot, naturally, is the Entremdy
Business School, and you have anopportunity to say, okay, well,
I want to be here.
And again, the thing about theEntremdi Business School is,

(16:19):
entremdi Live is so unbelievablyamazing Like I could charge
$10,000 for it and you will havea massive ROI.
It's very powerful.
But then you probably want tosay a hundred X.
That's what the EntremdiBusiness School is.
And so the people that you getto meet and you know the people
you get to see as vision boardsand all of those things you have

(16:40):
an opportunity to not see themonce a year, but you have an
opportunity now to be in classwith them every single week and
working with them within a groupsetting, and you know being in
a place where you get to hearthe debriefs on their businesses
and you get to be blown away ontheir businesses and you get to
be blown away.
So like, for instance, justrecently, like, if you know, if

(17:03):
I put over the last few months, you know, we've had a doctor who
had her first million dollarmonth.
Now this person gets to be yourclassmates.
Okay, we have somebody who wasinvited.
They're like oh, we just wantyou.
You know, this person isbuilding their referral base and
they're like we want you to.
You know, come on and do aradio talk show, We'll give you
a show, and that person is yourclassmate.
We have people like Dr RachelRubin, who just is part of the
committee and a driving forcereally, around writing the new

(17:25):
guidelines for genital urinarysyndrome of menopause, which I
mean it just hasn't been aguideline.
Like, when you hear aboutguidelines being written, like,
do you think of yourself writingguidelines or pushing to have
guidelines written?
And this is what they did.
And she was just featured on DrPeter Atia's podcast, which has
almost a million subscribers,and I can't imagine the
opportunities that's going toopen for her.

(17:46):
Now this person becomes yourclassmate, right.
And you have people you knowbuying land and building new
practices and all that.
Like, these are now all yourpeople and you have access,
right, so you get opportunitiesto be in an inner circle, and
this is what happens again whenyou're in the right room.
So I want you to think aboutthis.
And the reason why this isimportant is because you know
we're burning daylight.

(18:07):
You know what I mean.
And we're burning daylight andEntreMD.
We are committed to serving youin every way possible to help
you win.
That's why we do the podcast.
That's why we do the podcast, that's why we have the private
practice YouTube channel, and ifyou're not subscribed to that,
you want to head over to it.
So just at the private practicechannel, and that's why we do
that.
And that's why we write thebooks, and that's why we host
the events and all of thosethings.

(18:27):
And so this event really is foryou.
And if you're someone whosubscribes to the podcast and
you come and you listen everysingle week and all of that,
multiply this by a thousand.
Right, and that's what happensin Entremdi lives.
So you want to do it right.
And I understand what happenswhen we have to make decisions,
sometimes as well.
You know, if I had knownearlier, or you know, I don't

(18:49):
know who watched my children andall those kinds of things.
This is a deal.
You're an entrepreneur or anintrapreneur, right, and you are
somebody who is a problemsolver.
That's what that means.
You're a problem solver, anddon't let that stop you.
Don't let what stops you meanlike, oh, I wish I knew sooner,
or don't let any of those thingsstop you.
I want to challenge you.
I want to challenge you to bethe person who's like I'm going

(19:09):
to make it and I'm going to be.
In the room.
We had a doc who, a week beforethe event, flew out from
California and came to the eventand it has changed her life,
her family, her business, herhealth, everything.
And so if she could do that, you can get on a flight or you

(19:30):
can drive down, depending whereyou are, or you're in Atlanta,
oh my goodness.
You can just get your ticketand come be at the event.
But this is the deal.
Don't let indecision make youmiss out on an opportunity that
is guaranteed to change yourlife and your business, because
this is the deal.
If this was our first time ofdoing it, it would be different.

(19:51):
This will be our seventh EntreeMD Live.
So there's evidence, right?
And if you listen to thepodcast and we're able to
deliver such value that peoplekeep DMing me and saying how can
you do all of that for free?
Like what in the world?
Like how can you have all ofthat on a podcast?
Like that could be a course.
If we could do that, then Iwant you to think about what
happens in events.

(20:12):
So I want you to go get yourticket.
I want you to get your ticketto EntreeMD Live EntreeMDcom
forward slash live, and thetheme this year is a
seven-figure entrepreneur.
We're going to talk about youbecoming the seven-figure CEO
that your business deserves.
We're going to talk aboutbuilding your seven-figure brand
, which, in the day of AI andthe commoditization of medicine

(20:34):
and all kinds of products andservices, this is important.
This is a must have.
It's no longer nice to have.
You're going to see sevenfigure case studies, right,
people who've done this andthose proven strategies that
work.
We're going to have breakoutsessions this time.
So we're going to have abreakout session for DPC, for
insurance-based privatepractices, for coaches and for
entrepreneurs, right?

(20:54):
So we're going to have breakoutsessions so everybody can be
with their type of business.
We're going to talk about theseven figure team is packed with
goodness.
Okay, you're not walking inthere and walking out the same.
It's just not going to happen.
Okay, and that's the content.
Now there's the networking, where you have a networking
launch, and the VIP folks.
We have a networking launch aswell, and all of those things.

(21:15):
So it's just going to bephenomenal.
You have everything to gain andnothing to lose, okay.
So Entremdcom forward slash live.
I want you to register, saveyour spot, get your tickets if
you're flying in, andeverything's going to change and
I'm ready for it, okay.
So this is the deal.
Okay, Put yourself in the rightrooms.
This is something that I do,and this is why, as an introvert

(21:37):
, as a super shy introvert whois a private person, I love
hosting events.
I host a minimum of threein-person events a year a
minimum, right, and I would loveto host more, but three is
where we are for now.
Okay, because I know when weshow up for events, we show up
for it to be a transformativeexperience.

(21:58):
In my mind, I see my event as ablender, or as a processor, if
you will, and you know peopleare coming in one way, leaving
another, coming in one way, leaving another.
This is my driver, this is whatI'm pushing for, and I really
want you to be a recipient ofthat, okay.
So being in the right room willchange everything for you, and
so when you come to Atlanta, Iwant you to come with the
mindset that I'm coming here,I'm going to network, I'm going

(22:20):
to learn some things, I'm goingto do some things and really, in
