Paul Scott started as a DJ in his early teens. Making the transition to DJing was quite simple for Paul. By the age of 5, his interest in music was quite evident to his parents. They showered him with musical instruments. As a teenager, he joined a local mobile DJ group called Gentlemen of Leisure Disco (G.O.L.D. Productions). Paul’s knowledge of music production and instrumentation led him to perform with local bands.
After Paul left the stage performing with his band at the nightclub, he went to the dance club to study the top DJs in Newark and learned how to move the crowd. Upon entering college Paul hooked up with a new DJ friend and formed a disco duo named Sounds in Motion Disco. They toured the Northern and Central Jersey college campuses, rocking crowds of hundreds consistently. Paul’s deep desire for music and creativity drove him into music production during his college years. The doors of opportunity swung open wider in the 90s with the formation of Brothers of Peace Entertainment.
With close to 100 releases in 10 years, the opportunity to DJ in more respected establishments was accomplished. Paul was a resident DJ at Club Sensations in Newark for several years. His house music releases gained him popularity and landed him in Europe for studio work and DJ gigs abroad. Several DJ tours include London, Amsterdam, Sardinia, and Prussia Italy. Currently, Paul work as a mobile DJ with his own set he travels with.
Although he has a love for today’s house music, his other specialties are Old School Club Classics, R&B, Top 40, and Disco.” I have a passion for the R&B, and Disco music from the ’70s, 80’s, and 90s. From DJing at local establishments to playing in major clubs, Paul keeps busy using his God-given talent to please thousands of satisfied partygoers.
