a signature chef auction that goes down November first at
Weston RDU. Y'all, this is the premier foody event of
the year where the top Triangle chefs come together to
raise money and help babies the health of moms. It

is so important. And today I'm honor because I'm sitting
down with Brett Chamberlain, the legendary Brett Chamberlain from Cape
fear Seafood Company. Brett, why is March of Dimes so
important to Cape fear Seafood Company.

March of Dimes is a very important cause to us.
It's preventing infant death and mom health is near and
dear to us as an organization, So you know, it's
a good way for us to get.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Back and a lot of stats for y'all that don't
know much about March of Dimes. Four million babies that
benefit from this organization. You've got seven hundred thousand mamas.
And then the signature chef event is just a way
to make it a fun evening like a date night.
Great way to dress up, come out, have amazing food
from the top tier chefs throughout the community. K Fear
Seafood Company with three locations here in the Triangle. You
guys are beloved. Tell us your story. How did it

all start?
Speaker 2 (01:05):
In twenty nineteen, the owners came up here and they
opened the first location on Spring Forest Road. And we've
been blessed to have the support of the community. And
we've won Best Seafood a couple of times, and we've
won a Best Trim and Grits in North Carolina, which
is huge for us. And you know, we're just a
Southern company based in Southern hospitality and you know, the

leading seafood concept in Raleigh.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
And a little Birdie has shared you have a new
location coming in Carrie. What are the details?
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, so spring next year. Can't tell you the exact location.
We announce it on our socials, but it's in South Carey.
We've had a lot of requests to be in that area.
We're very excited to serve that community and it's it's
going to be a beautiful location. It's coming along nicely.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
It's growing so much everywhere too, So that's so great
that we're going to have a staple restaurant in that area,
and then you have Wednesday deals going on that people
are fighting to get in the door for.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, so half price grab legs everyone Wednesday. It's a
great deal. It's nineteen ninety nine. It's pounding a quarter
with two sides. That's a great deal.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Y'all have like a line out the door waiting for
those crab legs. Okay. So this is such an incredible
event that we're so honored that you are a part
of March of Dimes signature chef event. You're gonna have
sample one of your dishes for everybody to try. But
also you've got a fall menu that people can come
to the restaurant and check out.

Yeah, fall menu. We've got a winter salad on there,
and a Caribbean jerk mahi, a couple of special drinks,
and of course an apple, an apple crisp cobbler.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Okay, I'm here for that. That sounds amazing. You have
been voted the best year after year. Of course, I'm
sure in the future you'll continue to be the best.

on door dash and the full menus on there. And
we're the holiday parties coming up. We're taking private dining reservations.
It's filling up quick though.

In your Spring Forest Road a location. It has a
space for like company parties.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Right accommodied up to fifty people, and we have two
rooms that you can sort of do a smaller thing
like twenty to thirty people in each room, or just
combine them for a larger party.

can't wait to try his signature dish. That's gonna be
out at March of Dimes November first. It's at the
