Episode Summary:
In this bite-sized edition of The Fandom Portals Podcast, Aaron and Brash reveal what they’ve been watching, playing, and loving lately. From the gruesome legacy of Final Destination: Bloodlines to Tom Cruise's relentless sprints in Mission Impossible 8, and a vampire sandbox game that scratches every RPG itch, this episode is all about personal fandom picks. Plus, they tease the next deep-dive episode on the horror-thriller Ready or Not—with a nostalgic nod to The O.C.'s Adam Brody.

Topics:

  • Final Destination: Bloodlines – Nostalgia, supernatural tension, and creative kills
  • Mission Impossible 8 – High-octane stunts, submarine scenes, and emotional finales
  • V Rising – Vampire survival gameplay and castle-building with friends
  • Reacher Season 3 – Guilty pleasure TV and a beefed-up Alan Ritchson
  • Gaming as adults: asynchronous co-op, crossplay frustrations, and time management
  • Preview: Ready or Not deep dive with horror newbie Aaron

Key Takeaways:

  • Final Destination: Bloodlines succeeds as a gory callback to the series, with a suspenseful dual-timeline story and a penny that causes chaos.
  • Mission Impossible 8 may not be the best in the series, but it’s a stunning send-off for Ethan Hunt’s saga—filled with emotional farewells and intense, dialogue-free tension.
  • V Rising combines sandbox freedom, vampire lore, and addictive multiplayer progression—perfect for casual or committed players.
  • Reacher Season 3 is comfort TV with a punch—standalone plots, powerhouse performances, and shirtless justice.
  • Horror-lite picks like Ready or Not can be a great entry point for those curious but cautious about the genre.

Quotes:

“You don’t see Death, but you see him working—and that’s even more terrifying.”
“There’s a whole half-hour sequence with no dialogue—just soundtrack and tension.”
“He’s 60-something and still outrunning everybody.”
“You can build a castle, turn into a wolf, and fight Dracula with your friends. What more could you want?”
“Reacher is JAG for the streaming era—and I love every second.”

Speaker 1 (00:00):

Guys, this is a mini episodeand it is going to be called
what we're Into Right Now, andit is going to be exactly that.
We're talking to you about whatwe are watching, what we are
reading, what we are playing, what we recommend for you guys.
In the Fandom Portals community, we do offer episodes once
every week where we deep diveonto a specific fandom and talk

(00:20):
about how it can help us learnand grow, but this is just where
we talk about all of the stuffthat we've been into, because
brash and I actually, we talk alot before and after episodes,
don't we brash?
we do, we certainly certainly doand we thought you know what,
why not record that and send itout there too?
Because it's a great way foryou guys to get to know us, just
like we get to know each other.
So, uh, in these little youknow what you into.

(00:43):
Right now we're going to bestarting off with you know
what's Aaron been into, and thenwhat brush has been into, and
then we're going to recommendsomething to you guys.
And if it's something thatyou're into, then make sure you
contact the fandom portalspodcast, which is on all of the
social medias at fandom portals,or you can write to us at our
email, which is fandom dot com.
Tell us what you're into, begood, alright, let's go with you

(01:19):
first.
Brad, you, what have you beeninto?
What have you been into?
What have you been into?
That's like something you'd sayto Ace yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
What have you been into?
What have you been into, whathave you been into?
That's like something you'd sayto Ace yeah, yeah, exactly,
what have you been into?
What have you been into?
What have you been into?
What I've been into is a friendof mine actually invited me out
to the movies to watch thenewest Final Destination
Bloodlines Bloodlines.
For those who don't know, thiswill be the sixth installment of

(01:46):
this series and for those whodon't know, it's about people
who die in gruesome ways afterthey've either had ammunition
and saved themselves a bunch ofpeople from death.
Death then chases them all downand, one by one, gets what he
wants.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Hmm, Just before we jump in everybody, these will be
whatever we talk about here.
It'll be spoiler free, so youcan listen to this spoiler free.
Yes, we will recommend them.
We won't spoil anything.
We won't spoil anything foranybody, but we encourage you to
enjoy them in your own time.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
For those who have watched any of these before, it
does have a few nods from pastmovies, which is what I thought
would be great, because in thereme and my friend were both like
, oh look at that, oh, look atthat, and it was really, really
nice.
But the thing I liked most, Ithink, about this new Final
Destination is that it'sactually like there's a mini

(02:43):
Final Destination movie and thenthe main Final Destination
movie is that's actually likethere's a mini Final Destination
movie and then the main FinalDestination movie, because it's
set in two different timeperiods.
Okay, yep, yeah.
The main character, stephanie.
She's been having nightmaresabout a catastrophic disaster
that happened back in the 60sinvolving her grandmother, iris,
who narrowly had a permissionto narrowly escape and save a

(03:06):
lot of people from this massivedisaster.
She's just been having thisreoccurring nightmare and then
goes back to visit her family totry and find out more about her
grandma, because they've beenestranged, they've never met.
Future of franchises is goingto starve.
It has a whole bunch ofelaborate, dispensable deaths
that are from just ordinaryitems and things like some of

(03:30):
them just out there and bizarre, like there's one of the deaths
I found to be quite hilariouslydone, but they tied it in so
well, because one of the thingsI think I like most about this
uh final destination is youdon't get to see death, but you

(03:50):
get to he sort of you sort ofsee him working more, whereas
the other ones.
But they have those momentswhere, like they zoom in on
something happening in thebackground, like a screw is
getting undone or something likethat, or the gas bottle
starting to leak and and they'reabout to light it, or something
like that, or the gas bottle isstarting to leak and they're
about to light it, or somethinglike that.
There's a whole sequence ofevents.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
It's a scene by scene of Chekhov's gun.
It's just like we're showingyou this for a reason, and it's
definitely the reason why somany millennials changed a lot
of personal habits, especiallywhilst driving Load trucks.
Yeah, I'm one of thosemillennials.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
But yeah, they do the same sort of thing, but for me
it felt a bit more like you wereactually watching the devil,
like all the death work, and itmade it seem like it was like
actually them versus death,Because they talk about death a
bit more in this Instead of justbeing like oh my God, this
weird shit's happening.
They're full on like no, my god, this weird shit's happening.

(04:45):
They're full on like no, it'sdeath after us.
We have to beat death.
It's sort of like that It'll bea cat and mouse between death
and the survivors.
One of the movies I always sayI don't like it because of how
real that, even though some ofthis death's so crazy and all
out there.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
There's a grain of what if in everyone.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Exactly and you're like oh, so yeah, and then, as
you said, like it's made thesepeople change the way they do
things.
But what I found interesting inthis is when you meet Iris.
She's actually spent yearshiding from death, in a sense,
by learning all the little umtricks.
So, like the wind chime willstart blowing.

(05:30):
So she's like oh, something'shappening.
And she was like she's likealways like alert, but things
start changing around her and Ithought that was a really
interesting look at it, becausewhereas other people, other
movies, sort of relied on peoplehaving premonitions and having
those sort of moments, she'sbeen there for like 80 years.

(05:50):
Well, not 80 years, like 50years, and just being like just
picking up just the littlenuances and just learning how
everything works, and I thoughtthat was really good.
And Stephanie sort of picks upon that and also starts though
she's not as well trained shesort of does the same thing and
sort of picks up on that andalso starts though she's not as
well trained she sort of doesthe same thing and sort of picks
up on little things and likelooking around, okay, what

(06:11):
things can go wrong.
And, yeah, one of the funniestdeaths or it's a pretty gruesome
death one of the like thefunniest ones I found was off of
like one of her premonition.
Well, one of her like she'slike scouting things out, like,
um, those uh CSI shows where, like they're like looking at all
the clues and piecing alltogether like numbers or
something, and she's like doesthat and she does all the things

(06:33):
and they're like what?
That's just dumb.
And then like, yeah, it allreally good watch and I really
enjoyed it.
So we won't rate any of thethings we we do on these ones,
but just, would you recommend itor would you not?
I would definitely recommend it, um, for the people who aren't

(06:53):
squeamish about.
It is pretty gory.
Um, like all the rest of them, all of them are pretty gory and
this is no exception.
So if you don't like the gore, maybe you give us one on this
you like if you like.
If people don't like gore, thenit's, you're not gonna, you're
not gonna miss much, but, um,for those who do like the series
or do like, um, uh, something alittle bit gory, um, yeah,
definitely, definitely watchthis one, and thank you, mel,

(07:15):
for inviting me to movies yeah,I think Final Destination is one
of the few horror moviesbecause I'm not a horror guy but
there's one of the few horrormovie series that I actually
watched and kind of enjoyed, because I did like that
connection to the supernatural,like this.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
One's got a newer director, zach Lepofsky, who
directed the Impossible movie, but the writer of the movie is a
very seasoned horror writer,guy Busiek.
He has written all differentsorts of movies, like Abigail
and Scream, and also Ready orNot, which is going to feature
on the Phantom Portals podcastas well.
So, yeah, it's got some talentbehind it and I think, like for

(07:50):
this movie as well, what I'vebeen seeing on the line, without
giving too many spoilers away,is that it follows very
similarly in the accidentalnature of all of the deaths that
occur, one involving a penny, and that's all I'll say about
that.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
I will say, without spoiling anything, that penny is
pretty much plays a rolethroughout the entire movie.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Yeah Well, the reel that I saw was somebody coming
outside to have like a drink ofcoffee right on their outside
patio chair and then a pennyfalls from the sky and lands on
the path in front of them and hejust stands up and walks inside
and it's just like I've seenFinal Destination's bloodlines.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
That's exactly how you think of it.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, that one penny caused a lot of issues for a lot
of people, but at time ofrecording this movie, Final
Destination's Bloodlines isactually the most popular movie
on IMDb right now, which isawesome for a sixth installment
for a horror movie franchise.
That's pretty good, so I reckongo and give it a watch.
Also rated 7.1.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
It's also Tony Todd's last appearance in Final
Destination, so he plays WilliamBobworth, the coroner or the
who's the person in themortician.
Yep, yep, the mortician, yeah,mortician.
He's been in a fair few of themovies now, so it's his last
showing.
But yeah, and Richard Hammond, funny guy, always plays a dick.

(09:11):
He's fucking good at it, yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Yeah, very good, all right.
So go to the movies and watchFinal Destination, oh yeah,
bloodlines, and you know, onceyou finish that, let's go on to.
You know what I've been into.
So I similarly went to themovies, but I went to the movies
on my own.
I got into the habit of goingto the movies on my own because
I used to go when I was feelinglike I wanted some alone time.

(09:35):
And the first time I did it Iwas just like this is fucking
weird.
And I sat in the movie and Iwas watching Creed the very
first Creed movie and I got soimmersed and sucked in and I was
like this is now my favoritething to do go to the movies on
your own, just like get immersedinto a world, and just on your
own just like get immersed intoa world.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I'm the same, I do the same thing.
Yeah, like I'll go to the movie.
I'll go to the movies.
I'll just go to the movies andthey're like oh, do you want to
come watch this?
I'm like I've never seen it.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
I've seen it.
Who'd you go with?
No one, no one myself.
Yeah, that was pretty much me,and like I.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
actually, I thought you were at home watching the
movie.
I didn't realize you werewatching an actual movie.
Yeah, no, and.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
I put it up on our Instagram, as I put everything
up on there and I went andwatched Mission Impossible, the
new Mission Impossible movie.
Wow, I have seen most of theMission Impossible movies.
I won't say there are eight ofthem and I've seen most of them.
Yeah, this is the eighth one.
Oh, I thought it was going tobe like six or five.
No, this is the eighth one.

(10:33):
I'm pretty sure this is theeighth one.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
I must have seen the first, the second and the third,
and now I thought, this one wasthe fourth One, two, three,
four, five, six, seven eight.
There's eight, and a TV seriesthat started in 1966.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
And then again in 1988.
But I digress.
The Mission Impossible seriesstarted in 1996 with Tom Cruise
and he ends his amazing journeyas Agent Ethan Hunt in Mission
Impossible, the final reckoning, which comes out in 2025, went
to see it and the first spoilerfree.
Obviously the first half anhour to 45 minutes is a lot of

(11:11):
mashup scenes and jargon andcatch up basically, but after
that it kind of gets reallyreally good.
So once you get into the actualaction of the final reckoning,
they're trying to defeat theentity which was the villain
from the previous movie, deadReckoning, and it is basically
Ethan Hunt's last hurrah.
It is being marketed as hislast hurrah into Mission

(11:34):
Impossible movies, but TomCruise has feverantly said that
he is never retiring from actingthat's like in his press tours
right now and also he kind ofneeds an outlet for all of his
amazing stunt and action workthat he does, and this one's no
exception.
There are two scenes inparticular that are just full of
action Tension through andthrough.
Like there's a whole half anhour sequence in the middle of

(11:57):
the movie that doesn't have anydialogue whatsoever.
It relies completely on thesoundtrack and the visuals to
increase the tension and tellyou what's going on.
Story wise, and it is myfavourite part of the whole
entire movie when he starts togo down into a submarine.
That's when it starts.
Directed by ChristopherMcQuarrie, I definitely
recommend going to see this one, just because of the spectacle
that these movies are.

(12:17):
It's it's visually stunning.
I want to see it on the biggestscreen that I could, because
that's what tom cruiserecommended.
But I think that this one Iwouldn't say it's the best.
In my opinion, I wouldn't sayit's the best mission impossible
movie.
That crown will always go in myeyes to number three with
Philip Seymour Hoffman, but thisone ties very strongly into the

(12:38):
events of number three.
So I think that it utilizes itspast installments very well and
I think everybody shows up forpretty good performances here.
But it is still veryaction-heavy.
You know what you're gettingwhen you go in there.
It's not anything blockbuster-yspecial, but it is a very

(12:59):
entertaining flick Popcorn, allthat kind of thing and there is
a little bit of vibe of VinDiesel's family from Fast and
the Furious.
There's a whole he said hedoesn't call it family.
Tom Cruise calls it a team.
Tom Cruise calls it a team.
It's always look after yourteam.
That is just spouted so manytimes and by the end of the
movie, the amounts of charactermonologues that occurred because

(13:22):
they knew it was like thegoodbye let's drop some
emotionally poignant verbiageright here from Tom Cruise and
some of the supporting cast aswell.
So currently sitting at fifthmost popular thing on IMDb at
time of recording.
But yeah, that's what I wasinto, that's what I went and saw
.
Couple questions, yeah go forit.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
How long, would you say throughout the entire movie,
did Tom Cruise spend running?

Speaker 1 (13:50):
He had three running scenes and some of them were
really long, to the point whereI was like bro, I was like get a
car, Like hijack a car or abike.
You're running past one rightnow, but man, that guy can run,
he's over, he's almost 60.
He's 60 something actually.
He's 60-something actually.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
He's the same age Even in the Mummy.
He ran in the Mummy.
Yep, yep.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Tom.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Cruise running, tom Cruise running.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Second question Was Simon Pegg in it?
He was yes.
He was yes.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
I've seen the trailer , but I didn't see him in the
trailer.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Simon Pegg is in this , returning in his role as Benji
Dunn.
He's been for 20 years.
They couldn't finish it withouthim Brash, that's what I
thought.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
That's because I didn't see him in the trailers.
I'm like, oh, that's weird,it's the final one with Simon
Pegg, because I think that's thelast time I watched.
The last Mission Impossiblemovie I watched was the one
where Simon Pegg's first in it.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
You got a few to catch up on.
Yeah, my all-time my favoriteMission Impossible will always
just be Mission Impossible, Ithink that's my close second
favorite after number three.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Everybody hates Mission Impossible number two.
It has a special place in myheart because it's filmed in
Australia and I watched it whenI was.
I pretty much watched it whenit first came out, 1999.
2000,.
So I was 10 years old and wegot it on DVD and we watched it
at home and it was late at night, so I felt like it was special
and I could see things in itlike the Sydney Opera House and
the Harbour Bridge.
So it was probably the firstmovie that I actually watched

(15:16):
where I was like holy crap, that's Australia and it's not
like a movie like Kangaroo Jackor Crocodile Dundee.
This is actually a Hollywoodblockbuster movie set in
Australia.
That was pretty cool.
But yeah, I think that withoutthis franchise, tom Cruise will
live longer for one, becausehe's not going to be doing any
outlandish stunts, or maybehe'll live for a shorter period

(15:37):
of time because he won't berunning as much, but he is very
fast for a man of his age and, yeah, he definitely runs in this
one too.
So that's what we were into.
That's what we were into.
That's what brash and aaronwent into for this week, but now
we're going to get into ourrecommendations and this is
where we tell you guys what youshould go and watch, what you

(15:57):
should read, what you shouldplay for this week and also to
promo our upcoming episode ofthe phantom portals podcast for
our deep dive.
So first off, brash, what doyou recommend people watch it?

Speaker 2 (16:08):
they go and see, watch or play so I've this is
not new, this is old, but forthose who have friends, love a
throwback for those who havefriends, for those who have
friends eating with your friends.
I've been playing it solo.
It's fine, you have to andsplash.
I do recommend for people wholike video games to give V

(16:32):
Rising a go.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
I've watched some streamers play that.
That's like a.
It sort of looked a little bitlike the first Diablo in the way
that it plays.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah, in a way, and you play as a vampire and you
build a castle like a big levelcastle, and you have to go out
and farm for materials and killbosses and kill other people and
absorb people's blood so youcan stay alive and all these
other fun vampire tropes and youget like different.
As you kill different bossesyou learn new things and you get
new powers and if you kill newbeasts you can get new beast

(17:01):
forms.
Like you can kill a white wolf, you can turn into a wolf.
You kill a giant rat and youcan become a little rat that
scurries around.
You can kill a giant bear andbecome a big ass bear.
I'm a big ass bear, yeah, abear.
When you fight the big ass bearand kill the big ass bear, you
become a bear, which are all funthings.
But the thing I enjoy and Iwant to try and do is it's

(17:24):
similar in a way of like Valheim.
So you can you can have yourown private server.
You have a bunch of friends upto like 30 or something high
amount all on the server andlike there's plots of land
everywhere and people can justset up bases on those plots of
land.
It's a huge sandbox game and youset up plots of land.
There's ones that are actuallyconnecting, so two plots of land

(17:46):
is connecting, so you can havetwo people while on each plot
and there's like a little bridgethat joins the two plots.
So you basically have, like, ifyou're in a team of two, you can
have like two people there.
The thing is like you can have afriendly competition where, um,
you everyone like can pair upinto pairs of two or something
like that, or pairs of three orsomething like that, and you can
, um, have a clan, havedifferent clans, and you can
build up your clans and stuffand you can fight each other and

(18:09):
attack each other andeverything like that.
You can go online if you wantto, and have PvP and actually
versus other people around theworld and you try and set your
base before you get killed, butit might be a bit hard now
because people are already setup.
Or you can all just worktogether, build up your own
bases and that and go out andall hunt the same big boss, bad
guys and stuff like that untileventually you get to the end

(18:29):
and fight Dracula see that justsounds like a great party in
game yeah, and the best thingabout it too, is you don't all
have to be online at the sametime.
You can just jump on at any time.
You can go around and get somemore resources, build your
castle a bit more, go fight yourown like some of the bosses
yourself, get a few moreresources or something, and do
other things than that whileeveryone else is offline, and

(18:51):
then, when everyone else comesonline, then you can all meet up
and do things.
You don't have to be on thesame time, but you can all just
do it casually, and if you allmeet up, you all meet up.
Sometimes things vary, so youcan't always meet up, but you
don't need one specific personto be online to play.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Yeah, I feel like that's the way that those sorts
of games need to be now, becauseI think the main market for
games like that is people ourage and we all have chores to do
and things to do and workduring the day and different
time zones that we're allnavigating around and all that
kind of stuff.
So life gets busy and, you know, gaming sometimes happens at
very odd hours.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Wondering if it is.
I don't think it is, but I wishit was.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
I think it may be crossplay well it games have to
be if they're going to becompetitive these days yeah
surely it'd be crossplay.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
I'm not entirely sure if it is google it.
Oh no, yeah, I'm googling now.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
The rising won't have pc ps5 crossplay that sucks, so
you can only play it with someof your friends yeah, so you
either play on pc, but the goodthing at the moment is it's
cheap as shit so I think it'slike I think it's like 20 bucks
on playstation or oh yeah, it's10 to 30 bucks on playstation
and I'm not sure how much it'sonly like a year or two old,

(20:04):
isn't it?
It's not too old.
Yeah, I remember that comingout.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
But yeah, I think it's something more recently
coming out on PlayStation, Sameas season A 2022, it released.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Oh, there you go.
Yeah, three years ago Aboutthis time, actually.
All right, funny how this Men VRising Awesome.
And then my recommendation forthis week, guys, is I have dove
back into a guilty pleasure ofmine, which is the TV show
Reacher.
Now you might say that I likethis show because of its amazing
cop drama or the fact that itwas written by Lee Child, a

(20:38):
really good crime thrillerauthor.
But no, I like this because Ilike to look at Alan Richson's
body.
Amen, brother, he is a goodlooking dude and he's put a lot
of work into that physique, soyou know, kudos to him.
But he comes back in all of hisglory playing the title
character, jack Reacher.
He is investigating a new crimewith brand new characters, with

(20:58):
the return of, obviously, francis Neely, his go-to protege
every single time.
Great team those two.
And, yeah, he's gone in thereto solve another mystery.
This one has a little bit of apersonal touch.
You get to see a little bit ofhis backstory in terms of where
he came from and his actualfirst protege, because he always
kind of takes on somebody thathe's second in command.

(21:19):
He's go-to guy At the momentit's Neely, but this is the
story of the person who wasNeely before he had Neely and
what happened to that person andhow it's affected him in his
career and in his life.
And the best part about it isthere's this character in it
called Paulie, and Paulie isplayed by Olivia Riches and
that's a guy.
It's huge, he is absolutelymassive, he's bigger than

(21:42):
Reacher and let's just say, stick around to the end episode,
because exactly what you thinkis going to happen between those
two happens between those two.
There is a yeah, it's just areally good sort of comfort
watch for me and there's not toomuch sort of.
I often equate it to JAG.
Do you remember that show, jag?

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Yeah, jag, yeah, it's like midday viewing.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
that was just comfortable and it was like turn
your brain off TV.
Yeah, so that's what I likeabout about Reacher I reckon you
should go and watch seasonthree of Reacher.
And the good thing aboutReacher even though this is
season three, you don't youreally don't need to watch any
of the others before you and iskind of a standalone story.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
I saw it.
Yeah, the books.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Exactly Like the Lee Child books.
You could pick up book number12 and you'd be able to read it
and have a complete story andnot have to worry about the
things that come before or after.
So there's very few of hisbooks that actually follow
through.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
There are things that tie in pass-wise but
realistically, if you just wantthe broad story, you're fine
with pretty much readingwhatever.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Yeah, I always see Lee Child as an airport author,
so it's one of those ones thatyou see at the airport often and
you pick it up just to read onthe flight.
Yeah, because that's literallywhere I read Killing Floor, his
first book, so I got into it.
So, yeah, that's myrecommendation.
And last thing that we're goingto do on this episode, guys,
we're going to do on thisepisode, guys, we're going to
preview the episode to come fromthe Phantom Portals podcast.

(23:05):
Brasher and I have dove deepinto Ready or Not, made in 2019.
It is a movie that stars SamaraWeaving, a lovely Australian
actress.
It is a horror movie, that'sright.
Everybody, you heard correctlyI get into horror this week on
the Phantom Portals podcast andyou'll have to tune in to see
how that went.
So, looking forward to it.
Horror-esque yes, it's horror,with Different toes in.

(23:27):
That's exactly it.
That's why we picked this one, because it's horror for Aaron,
but it's also horror with atwist for Aaron, because you
can't really dive straight intothe deep end with something like
that.
Because, yeah, you'll find outwhy in our very next episode
Also it's also starring AdamBrody Adam.
Brody from the OC, adam BrodyOof.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Hey, that's the first one I saw Adam Brody, me too.
Hey, he was amazing in that.
He was amazing in this.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Yeah, we all learned to fall in love with Adam Brody
from the OC Old Seth Cohen.
He made all us nerds proud hedid.
From the OC old Seth Cohen, hemade.
He made all us nerds proud hedid he was.
He's actually probably thefirst millennial nerd played on
screen that I was like that'sactually what we're like yeah
that's kind of like yeah, that'skind of like I'll always.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
I'll always love the scene between Rachel and Marisha
, where Rachel's like what wasthat movie with the two gay guys
on the mountain that the boysmanaged to watch?
And she's like, and she's likeLord of the Rings, like that's
right.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
That's right.
Yeah, I think he said that tome.
I did A while back.
Yeah, Always.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
That always cracks me up, because everyone's like, oh
, everyone thinks you know.
Because everyone's like oh,everyone thinks, oh, brokeback
Routan.
But then she's like Lord of theRings and she's like that's it.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
It is absolutely well-known through our friend
group that I adore Lord of theRings, so I get sent things like
that all the time.
But yes, if you haven't already, make sure you go and watch the
OC as well, but also Ready orNot?
So check out the feed for that.
It is coming very, very soon.
This is the most recent shortepisode called what have you
been into?
What have you been into?

(25:09):
What are you into right now?
What?

Speaker 2 (25:10):
are you into?

Speaker 1 (25:10):
