Football Dudes podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
What is up, my dudes?
This is Trent with the FantasyFootball Dudes podcast.
I am joined by Phil Jordan anda special guest, phil, on the
podcast today.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Guys, you said Phil twice.
Did I say Phil twice?
I don't think you said Seth, you're just so giddy because I'm
back.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
You didn't say yourself, Trent.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
I didn't say myself and myself, Trent Are you giddy,
because I'm back.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Did you say bringing?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
what back?
No, I'm just kidding, I don'tknow.
I'm just, I'm in a, I'm in afad.
If I always just go left orright like that, I believe I
used to try.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
You're in a zesty mood when we first started the
pod.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
I tried to like switch it up, like, oh, I'm
going to say Jordan first, soI'm going to say, you know, phil
first.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Just so no one gets offended.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I thought that.
Then I said you know what thisis too much for me to comprehend
.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Last time you even said like most things wasn't
here.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
That was just to tease people.
You know people like rageturned it off the finalist there
.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
then they're like oh, he was on, ok, I'll listen, you
know just to defend Phil'shonor, for like missing the last
month of pods, people were sadhe wasn't on the live.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I know oh, really that's where he thrives, but
yeah, true.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
That's hey, seth.
You know what Can?
I can have a little bit of love.
Thank you for saying that, seth.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
People miss you, Phil , but for not good reason.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Like been on the live you know.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
I know I at least been the chat like come on.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Who would you leave of the week?
People who don't use calendarsand double, triple book
themselves Can we agree withthat.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Yeah, it's, true, yeah sure.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, Google Calendar , great app I've come to find
that when you have you have, like you keep having children it
becomes more and more difficultto manage your schedule.
Do you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
It's true.
No, I agree with that.
But that's why I need to becomelike that's not a sponsor.
Google Calendar really helps meout.
My wife, can you know, populatemy calendar and I know what I'm
doing that night.
Or I can be like, hey, I have alive she, you have a work
calendar.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I do have a work calendar.
I should probably, I shouldprobably put it on there, right?
Is that what you're saying?
Just put on your work calendar.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Yeah, it'd be better.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, no, you're right, I have I.
Sometimes I'll forget that Ihave a haircut scheduled and so
that's what I started doing, just throwing it on my work.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Oh no, I do.
I do the same thing, no like ifI don't have.
I never was one of those peoplelike in school, like, hey, I'm
going to use the plannercalendar they used to give you.
What did you do in school?
I got by, ok, I got by School, hard knocks, anyways, but what
I'm saying is is the calendar onmy phone?
I don't know how I functionedwithout that.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
How do you like?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I have a no Google Calendar, I've said it twice no
sponsor the pop.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
You said it was on your phone.
So yeah, you just like theaverage one that you get on
there, that one's not good, Iwouldn't use it.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I have a reminder on my calendar every week to put my
recyclables.
It's good to be clear, though,Phil tell us about what you're
going to do.
You did one cool thing sinceyou've been gone.
We'll give you two minutes.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
This is embarrassing.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
It's week one.
We're a little frustrated.
We have some tilts.
You know people have beencalling us out about Skymore.
You know Canary's Tony Chiefstuff.
So, phil, just your quick.
What are you?
What was the one thing you did?
That was really crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
That you wanted to talk about two weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Why didn't I come?
You're on vacation.
Then you had work.
Then you had a scrimmage for asoccer game.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
That's true, I had work.
Yeah, so I was at work, but oneof the probably the coolest
thing that's ever happened to meand I probably shouldn't be
asking people who have, and it'snot even that cool.
I probably shouldn't be askingpeople who have golf memberships
at golf courses, but I gotdangerously close to a hole in
one and I am not a good golfer.
Ok, what par was it?
It was a par three.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I was shooting from the par three course or an
actual course.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
It was an actual golf course.
It was out in Texas, my brotherand I, every once in a while
when we get together, which isnot a lot because he doesn't
live in the same state but we'llplay a round of golf, just not,
actually, not even not around.
We'll play nine holes, ok, justto get out there, get on the
links.
It is blistering hot in Texas, right, and I don't know if it
was the Texas heat or what itwas that warned me of the jeans
that you were wearing.

(04:07):
I was wearing shorts this time, but the main problem was is that
set that was a good one?
Is that I didn't.
I didn't think that we weregoing to be playing golf, so I
was wearing a Hawaiian shirt andvans.
But hear me out, a guy pitcheda no no in vans, like a couple
days before, so I felt a littlebit more confident walking on
the links.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
I don't think that was a couple, that was like a
month ago.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah, I was gone two weeks ago.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
That was like over a month.
Phil has had a hard timekeeping up with sports, like he
asked us on.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Saturday, if we knew, call it out of his ring so like
, yeah, he's any hat.
No, no, that's not what I said.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Anyhow, we're on par three.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
I just feel was actually an Antarctic.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Anyhow, I just hit, I just blistered this ball like I
was, just like it was.
It was same blistering.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
blister like it is, it is just.
Is that a thing?
What were?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
you using?
We're using a pitching wedge,we're using a seven.
Do you know?
I teed up with an eight.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I teed up with an eight.
I teed up with an eight Game.
It all you got, no.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
I wanted to actually hit it on his back swing.
He's like oh.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
I hate that.
You're actually funny, thispond.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Because, he has hit the windmill that it builds back
.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Oh, this is so stupid .
I was going to mention it wasmini golf Part three.
Mini golf guys.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
It explains why you'd be wearing a Vans in a Hawaiian
shirt.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Anyhow, the guy that we were with.
He said that is the closestI've ever seen to seeing someone
get a hole in one, and I waslike it was probably.
I ended up birding it as you,I'm clutch.
Clutch over consistency is whatthey say about me, and I, I,
and which leads into my La Porta, take.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Hold on before you do .
The La Porta Define definealmost a hole in one.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
So I I like how far.
I'll show you, I'll show you,I'll pull it up and you guys can
, you guys can say, I will sayit was probably seven yards.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
No, stupidity, stupidity.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Okay, this is how this is pretty close.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
That's pretty close.
That's pretty close, it'spretty.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Yeah, that doesn't help.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
It's probably about it's about it like a foot away
less, less, no, it's, it's abouta foot.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
That's about it.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Well yeah, I was, I was, I was probably I couldn't
measure, because if he wouldhave walked there it would have
messed up his line and then hewould have been, I told this
story a couple of months ago.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Like uh, I went golfing for this charity for the
local high school wrestling.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
And he's the deposit.
And it was underdog count.
Yeah, it was underdog charity.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Um, and I almost had a hole in one, but the reason
why it did not go in was becausemy nephew, who was golfing in
the party in front of me,crushed up Cheetos and sprinkled
them around the hole, oh my andI'm not kidding.
The ball bounced differentlyafter it hit the Cheeto Like it
bounced and it was going tobounce again and then roll in
like it.
It was clear as day.

(07:01):
Clear as day.
It wasn't a hole in one, but itwould have been like an eagle.
It was on my second shot.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Oh, it was a.
It was a, oh, okay.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
It was a par four.
The story's got the story'sthat's significantly less
interesting.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
I mean Seth's nephew.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
he's like one of those guys that just walks
through with hot Cheetos andMountain Dew the kid's wild man.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
He dumps them around the hole because he knows I'm
about a chip, you know that's aparty.
Yeah Unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
All right, let's get into week one.
It's a.
It was a rough week, should I?

Speaker 3 (07:26):
get into my La Porta take, though the guy had like
six catches.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
So what's your take?

Speaker 1 (07:31):
What do you want to say about La Porta?
And you did say that he'd begood.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
I did say I did say he was going to be good and we I
feel like we felt prettyconfident that the lines were
going to use him.
I was talking to Trent and Ithink that what I should do at
some point is say, like if I'mgoing to give a take that I feel
like is going to be good, weshould suggest it but say that
like you need some insurancearound this.
Like like shot in the dark, take what?

Speaker 4 (07:51):
was his stat line fill.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
I think he had six receptions or at least six
targets.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
And five catches.
For how many yards?

Speaker 3 (07:58):
69, 68.
He's 39 yards.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
He was like had two touchdowns and eight catches,
and second coming.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
What was his?

Speaker 4 (08:07):
adot.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Well, here's the, here's the deal, his take was
better than his.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Adot was definitely not high because he had a long
of 14.
The one reception was 14 yardshalf of his yards clutch over
consistency no like he was fine, but you're acting like he was
like awesome.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
He's better in sky more, though I'll give you that
for a rookie tied in, to comeout and get that many targets in
their first game, I would sayis like somewhat surprising.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah, I know it was the most receptions by a rookie
tied in.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Thank, you, TJ Hawkinson.
Thank you, Trent.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
So people did make a big deal about that, right?
Did that get brought up on thecommentating?
Yeah, it was worth noting.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, it was worth noting.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
So since the last I was tied in to come out, that's
right.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Yeah, speaking of adot, though, the modern man's a
man who takes care of himself.
Manscaping isn't just for lifespecial occasions, it's a
requirement for optimal healthand healthy self-esteem.
You now have the right toolsfor a safe and precise grooming
and hard to navigate sensitiveareas, guys.
So go over to Manscape.
Inter promo code dudes 20 for20% off your whole entire order,

(09:10):
guys.
They got boxers, the lawnmower4.0, the weed wacker for the
nose and the ears, all kinds ofstuff.
They got a new handheld razorfor your face.
Looks really nice.
I think it's called thehandyman.
But yeah, go over to Manscape, tell them the dude sent you
inter promo code dudes 20.
What else we got?

Speaker 4 (09:26):
to do you guys next time.
Can I just see next time youwant to use adot as a transition
?
You know you should transitionto what maybe an underdog or
sleeper promo?
Yeah well, there's always nexttime.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
I'm just trying to think what adot has anything to
do with it.
No, you could have used theunderdog or sleeper Clean your
adot.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
I don't know what that is, I just like his last
transition that he did, the bigtransition that we were all like
laughing at.
Do you remember when he trained?
Did that transition?

Speaker 4 (09:50):
He transitioned last week, I can't remember three
weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Remember when he transitioned last week, when he
did the You're a wild.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
He did that.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
No, when he was like, when he was like, what did you,
what were you saying?
You kept saying like he keptshaved, shaved.
He's like you probably couldhave shaved a couple off.
And he kept saying it likethree or four times.
Then he's like yeah, so stupid.
Let's jump into our.
That was a good transition forwhat it's worth.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
We got our starts of the week.
You want to do some headlinesfrom the game today, things that
surprised you.
You wanted to recap starts andsits real quick, kind of defend
our honor.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
We can recap our starts and sits.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
All right, my start.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
I forgot what he had.
I usually take these.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
I usually take these.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
This is usually how it goes, we kind of learned to
do this pod without you,unfortunately.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
So Trent starts where Tyler Higby, davonta Smith,
jordan starts where Skymore andCam Acres, seth starts where
Cadarius Tony and Jameer Gibbs, and then, if we want to talk
about our sits, trent sat.
No, let's just let us get Okay,so we want to talk about the
starts a little bit, trentstarts again.
Tyler Higby and Davonta Smith.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
I thought that Tyler Higby would absorb a lot of
those targets.
Puka went off to do out welland to to.
Finally, you know I've been,I've had to two for a couple of
years and sometimes he likes Ithink I dropped him this
offseason.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
He's been Jefferson's dead.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Van Jefferson.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Yeah, rip Van, he's still there, he's still around,
yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
What else do we?
Got here so.
I thought Higby would have adecent game.
Do we want to recap that gameAny other than?

Speaker 4 (11:18):
that here's my problem.
I think Higby just dead.
He's old.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
I think so.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
He's like on his way to his coffin.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Like no more dead.
Takes on this.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
It's very possible that Higby only had a good game.
He's 30.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
He's 30 years old.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
He is 30 years old.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
He feels like he's way older, doesn't he, though?

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Yeah, it's very possible.
Higby only had a good gamebecause they played the Seahawks
, whose secondary was awful.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Yeah, he had a good game, he had points.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
No, he had six points .

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Sorry, six point four .
Yeah, the point nine I got fromIsaiah likely.
Yeah, yeah, that's unlikely asa uh, and then you and then he
had Devonta Smith, which was agood.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
I would say there was a, that was a good, that was a.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Yeah, so he kind of started kind of shaky.
He's got a touch down.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Did you say you you meant Devonta Smith?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
I see you have Deandre Swift up, that you have
Devonta Smith, okay, perfect forDevonta Smith and he was kind
of Squared a touch down earlyand then he turned it on the
second half.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Got up 16.
Oh and then.
But I think the problem withthat in hindsight trend is like
the Patriots are probably justnot a team you really want to
attack in general.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
No defense, look good like yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
And then we can move over, we can kick it over it.
I mean, jordan, do you want totalk about?

Speaker 4 (12:31):
No, like Skymore sucks like I.
I mean honestly I thought thathe wasn't as bad as Tony.
I thought Mahomes on down acouple times.
I thought the one he wasprobably gonna have a 30 yard,
maybe four, I don't know.
He might have caught that ranif if Mahomes gives him a good
throw down the middle of thefield.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
He dropped a couple.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
I Mean it just they didn't you like he didn't wasn't
targeted, like, so I don't knowif it's just like Not good,
like that be got.
I almost like want to go backand like watch watch only his
route running, like is he, asyou open and and Mahomes not
seen him?
Or is he not getting open?
I don't really know, but I waswrong.
Pay the price.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
You think he's struggling with like separation
or something?

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Yeah, I'm saying like I wish I could see, like you
know, like the only, like onlywatching him, like the whole.
You know the, the field viewcamera, which I think you can if
you do, like the NFL, there's awhat package you can buy from
NFL to see that.
But I, I don't know, just, Iwas just wrong, I was wrong

(13:38):
about it.
It cost me.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
So I mean the, the, your reaction on the live stream
were pretty good, though I didcatch some of those.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Oh, what to which part?

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Just a variety of different one where you're just
oofing and offing, just likejust cheese off, just yeah,
cheese right off.
Do you go into camera, acres?

Speaker 4 (13:58):
So the acres thing interesting.
No one I was wrong about I.
It's probably gonna cost mebecause I have a lot of him in
best fall.
I have a lot of him just inseason long.
I want my main season longteams.
He's like my RB one and Kyronreally is.
67% snaps, 15 carries totargets, 54 yards To touch on

(14:19):
scam acres 33% snaps, 22 carries.
Seth watch more that game.
At the end I wasn't watching itand he said it.
Most of those carriesregardless time.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
So I would say probably.
How many do you have?

Speaker 4 (14:30):
you said he had 13 in the third quarter.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
Yeah, but the Seahawks were kind of.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Still, we scored that touchdown it was still
relatively close.
Yeah, he had 13 when he scoredthat touchdown.
So I Don't know, I just I.
Got bailed out even by it wecould have been disaster.
He didn't score a touchdown,but Just wrong, I don't know.

(14:56):
At least like weak ones hardnot changing myself.
My excuse, but I was just wrong.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Yeah Well.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
I guess I can go.
Yeah, go in my Tony take.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
So Tony Did not play as much as I thought.
I know we came off knee surgery, but that's so my excuse,
because he still got targetedfive times and Probably out of
the five targets he dropped, Ithink about three and which he
scored a touchdown on one.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Tony, tony, he should have scored a touchdown, yeah
you're right, he should have any.
Probably the worst like week oflike Twitter in a long time
I've seen for a guy like thatpicture of him with his clubs on
they were bricks and stuff likeoh they, they, they're doing

(15:43):
like the like the wanted, thewanted like the pool things.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Oh, did you guys see?

Speaker 3 (15:47):
that one, like around Kansas City.
It was like those wanted thingsor like a phone number.
It's like paper the widereceiver and it was like wanted
wide receivers that can catchand it was like.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Like the price Good, only have to work on Sundays.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Like you could like take one.
Oh, that was so good.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
And the website.
So I think it's very possible, like when Travis Kelsey comes
back, I think we can even seeSkymore and Tony kick up.
But I think even for like thelast few years ever since
Tyreeks gone, it's just hard totrust any KC receivers and I
just think it's gonna be hardfor Anyone to trust them to
start them week by week.
You're just gonna have to seeif a trend starts to develop

(16:24):
before you can trust starting.
But I would say hold on to bothSkymore and Tony and kind of
just wait to see how it playsout and then Hopefully they
become something and you canmove into your starting spot.
Gibbs, I mean he played 27% ofsnaps, so not as much as we
wanted, but they did say theywould ease him in.
But when he did play in those27 snaps he had seven attempts

(16:46):
for 42 yards and he had twotargets and two receptions.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
And he had a ton of missed tackles.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
Like he forced a lot of missed tackles seven, I think
, which is a lot, only playing, only touching the ball nine
times.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Yeah, so when he got the ball, he was making things
happen.
And I like he did the most withwhat he could, with his
opportunities, I think.
But memory had a solid game.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
No a.
David Montgomery had a greatgame, but I think, as the line
season progresses and when theyaren't like, the lines were
necessarily down this game sothey were able to run the ball,
montgomery.
But when they are down in games, gibbs is gonna stay in the
game, yeah, and they're gonnause him.
He might not be the goal lineback, like that we're hoping,
but he's like we said, when youmake people miss, there's that

(17:29):
big playability and he has that, and so I'll take the L this
week.
Yeah, I think they're gonna beweeks where he has like 20 point
performance.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Yeah, that game.
That game was 10 points off.
It's total.
Yeah, there was a total of 42points.
I think it was 42 points total.
I think it was 21, 20, right, that ended up be the line of the
the.
It was supposed to be a 40, 52Excuse me 52 point total and so
the fact that it was so muchlower.
I think some of your guysprobably got hurt by it, but I
think probably the person whogot hurt by the most was

(17:59):
probably Gibbs.
Right when you say he'sprobably one of the people who
got hurt by the most by thattotal on the Maybe who, who else
would you say that?

Speaker 5 (18:08):
would ease him in.
So I mean it makes sense.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
I think it hurt a monitor, st Brown.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
I was gonna, he was gonna be my next one.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
I think it probably hurt him the most.
He's still had a good gamethough.
Yeah, but what was it?
We were a catch-off of breaking.
You know that prop right therewith him.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
Yeah, I mean, I would just say I think I think
Everyone in general like I don'tthink very many people made a
lot of money today when it comesto, I mean, jordan knows more
than me, but I think more peoplethought weeks would play out
differently, higher profileplayers would play better, like
like we did.
But, like I said, we're gonnaget into the duds later.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
So speaking about the chiefs guys, I saw something
interesting from JJ Zacharyson.
He tweeted that.
What was it he said?
I think MVS had the second mostroutes on the chiefs behind
Noah Gray, just to put that in,for you led, but the sky more
also had like.
I'm trying to find it here.

(19:06):
It's a huge.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
More was also second in routes for you see the.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
Clyde Edwards thing sky more played 69%.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Skymore was out there , just anything, played like 75
80%.
I didn't see this guy.
I'm gonna walk better here.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
It is right here.
Noah Gray led the chiefs androutes run on Thursday with 34,
marquez Valdez scantling and skymore were second.
We're second and third, so I'mguessing sky more was third.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
Yes, okay.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Respectfully.
Kaderis, tony and Rashi Ricehad 10, just 10 each, but they
were targeted on half of them.
So they want, they want Tony tobe involved more was cardio.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
He's doing cardio.
Yeah and, yes, doing cardio outthere.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
I mean no great thing .
Doesn't surprise me either.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
No, that's a prize me role.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Like honestly, if, if they, if tells us out again
next week, I would just no grace, just a good option again next.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Yeah, yeah, anyhow, I can't pull it up, but it was
basically a complete runninglane that he had that he just
completely missed.
I saw that.
But whether you hate the peoplein your life or you love them,
probably lean more of the love, the hate and the love.
But that's okay.
You should tell them about thedudes fantasy football dudes.
We bring people together.
The highest compliment you cangive us is to share us with your

(20:20):
friend.
You know whether that be text, you know.
Send them a, send them a linkto our live thread.
You know.
You know anything that involvessharing us in somewhere or
another.
So don't remember, don't berude.
Share the dudes.
You know.
Referral friend, you know.
Send us, send us, you know, addus to our group chat, adam, to
a group chat.
We can get to know them, becomefriends with them.
Careful, who you add me with, just for what it's worth.

(20:42):
But just just remember, don'tbe rude.
Tell a dude All right, let'sget into our sits.
Trent, you had Najee Harris andJames Connor Jordan.
You had Marquise Brown andDamian Pierce and Seth.
You had Debo Samuel and DeandreSwift, seth.
Since you had the best sits,I'm gonna let you start.

(21:03):
I would say for the most part, you had one really stellar sit.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
Okay, so Debo 8.8.
I think he was getting aroundhis projected.
I don't think this is showinghis running.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Did he get?

Speaker 5 (21:16):
any carries.
He had some carries, I think itwas.
He had some.
I know that I can pull it righthere.
He was 5 for 7 for 55 yards.
I think he was decent.
But I we all saw how good I youcan he was the top three
receiver.
I we noticed also too WithPurdy last year.

(21:36):
I youk was his top red zonetarget as a receiver.
It wasn't Debo just because Ithink I use maybe a little more
quicker and he runs the slant alittle bit better.
So I youk is gonna take awaythose red zone targets from Debo
.
I think, like Jordan made Debohis doubt of the year, I just
think he was just shy of hisprojected.

(21:56):
It was pretty easy.
I knew we weren't, I knew we.
I knew he wasn't gonna get his10 points.
Like I think, we can expectDebo to usually get below his
projected points this year, butSwift, that's the one that I
want to do.
Oh yeah, if we go to Swift.
This one's interesting.
I'm not even getting a snappercentage here, because he had
one attempt right here, go ahead28% snaps.
Okay, so 28.

(22:17):
So when he was in, he wasn'tgetting the ball, which is
interesting.
So he's in the backfield, they're throwing.
He had two targets, though, andone attempt.
I don't even understand.
Gainwell played most the game,yet 62 62%, had 14 carries, 4

(22:37):
for 4 and receptions and 20yards.
So like even he's the favorite, like receiving back and penny
was a healthy scratch.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
So I mean.
I was only six special teamsguy.
I think gain well is like, honestly, might be one of the
premier ads of the week, I think, like waiver wire, just 61%
rostered on sleeper.
Is he so like?

Speaker 1 (23:00):
61 five.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
I know, literally like a month ago, live, oh,
we're doing the pot.
I grabbed him in our DianeseLee I.
I think he's like a must-have.
I think he should be like 90.
He's the RB one on a team thatIs pretty high profile offense
and I don't think they playedwell today and they're gonna be
up in games.
They're gonna run the ball.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah, do you think, since they did it ball so much
around the goal line.
Do you think, since they didn'tplay well, they might shake it
up and it might be totallydifferent next week?
That's the only thing that okay, I mean.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Gain will had like three red zone carries to like
yeah carry like he's.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
He's the guy there.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Yeah, he had 14 attempts, 54 yards, for targets,
for receptions, 20 yards.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
So I mean Jalen hurts to not play well.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
I don't think like he fumbled, like it, just it's
it's, it's.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
It's the first game.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
Yeah, but I think game well is like a like he's,
if he's available, nearly he'slike a must must add, I think
nice, like.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Are you feeling?
Like, are you feeling about himlike you did about Ramon Jey
last year?
It's not a similar situation, but it sort of is a similar
situation.
Do you get what I'm saying?

Speaker 4 (24:12):
I think game was I, the one thing that I would say
is that, like this sounds crazy, but I think I was more
confident in his role last year, remondres role last year,
throughout the whole year.
Like obviously, to Trent'spoint, like it could change On
the dime, like it could changewhenever so you just got to play
it while it's hot, basically.

(24:33):
Yeah, I think he's good rightnow.
From what we can tell, he's theRV one and it's not really
close like yep, I'm gonna gowith, I'm gonna, I'm gonna go,
just go backwards here.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
Jordan, you go ahead and give us your, so talk about
your sister.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
Oh, I think I was okay with my.
I had Damian Pierce who wasbeing kind of ranked in the top
20.
He only had five, five points,11 carries, 38 yards, two
receptions, three targets.
Let me see if I can pull up hisAddis tweet.
Doesn't have his snap count, but um, I Would imagine he plays
most of it, most the game, andbe curious what single Terry did

(25:09):
.
Hit four more carries andsingletary.
It's just a tough match up forthem.
I don't like, hey, damianPierce the rest of the year.
I think he was being a littlebit overranked though.
But yeah, so Damian Pierce, andthen you all said more keys
brown.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
He ended in.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
This is an 27.2 and half point.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
Oh, it would have been like 10 and full, or like
nine.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
It's just side nine.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
Yeah, he only had four, five targets.
Three receptions any rushingrush for like 29 yards, but it's
.
Arizona actually didn't playhorrible this week.
I think it made more with theWashington.
Washington played really bad,but um, mm-hmm, Shout out to Sam
Hale for getting me through onmy survivors Um yeah, yeah, I

(26:01):
forgot, you had a survivor withthat.
Yeah, I had two and one nightto Washington, one Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
So I'm looking just because we brought up cam acres
Kyren Williams.
He's six percent rostered.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
I think he's also okay.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
Only thing is is they are playing the 49ers this week
, so MacVay usually isn't greatagainst the 49ers.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Yeah, I want to say that you sit next week.
Yeah, you might yeah, you might.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Yeah, you might be able to get this guy again after
next week's.
What I'm saying?
So I don't, if you got theroster space, pick up Kyren
Williams, but I don't think I'mplaying him.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
But I think Marquis Brown going forward just scary.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
I don't really so.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Good about my sits.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
I think I did.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
I think we all did.
We all did good on sits thisweek it was easier this week
than starts.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
It's not always like that, but it was a lot easier
this week.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Yeah, so my sits.
I had Najee Harris.
He had four fantasy points.
You said this when you walkedin here, jordan, like we've been
getting up on the same or theSteelers and everyone kind of
has.
But Najee Harris had sixattempts for 31 Yards, two
targets for two receptions fortwo yards.
So he had under 40 total yardsthe whole day in 52% snaps.

(27:13):
Yeah, and what did a Jalen?

Speaker 4 (27:15):
What's 39% snaps and what were his stats?
It probably wasn't great either.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Okay, warren had four fantasy points, so they're
about the same.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
They were also down like 20-0 and like yeah, very
fast.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
So 49ers looked good.
A lot of people were sayingthey looked like the most
complete team of week oneOffense defense.
But also, you know, everyone'stalking about the Steelers.
You even thought the Steelersmight win that game.
Jordan, you put yourself inwith the talking heads.
And then I had James Conner, who had 9.5 fantasy points and
he just got honestly thishonestly this week you might

(27:50):
take the nine point.
Yeah well, the game, the gamescript With that wasn't what I
thought it was gonna be.
I thought that the commanderswere gonna kill him and I said
the K word.
You know, I said wasn't to saythat anymore, but uh, james
Conner, it was just close enoughthat he kept getting touches.
So he got five receptions fivetargets five receptions and yeah

(28:13):
, I think, yeah, he probably, aslong as he's healthy, probably
got a playman your lineup, but Idon't know if he gets more than
that like.
I don't think he's gonnadestroy your team.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
You think you'll?

Speaker 1 (28:25):
finally, cardinals defense played pretty well today
.
You see that one hit when theref got KO'd and he threw the
flag while he was sitting down.
Did anyone see that?
No, it's so good.
So, sam, how scrambling out andhe's trying to get a bounce, a
guy hits him and the otherCardinals guy just takes his
head off, goes into the ref.
The ref falls over the ref fromhis back like just throws the

(28:46):
flag up, like a little like it'slike slow yeah.
I was just like.
Of course I was like joking, butI said like, hey, I think this,
this refs can cuss.
That clearly wasn't a flag, andpeople just went off on me on
Twitter, you know so oh.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
But yeah, I mean so that kind of wraps up our starts
and sits.
Is there anything else that you?
Is there anything?
I mean we're weak one.
Is there anything that makesyou nervous, jordan?

Speaker 4 (29:11):
outside of our starts .
So it's a couple other thingslike.
I have some snap counts here,so oh, we'll get there Javante
out, snapped some Ajip Irine Forall the people who thought
Javante was gonna be eased inbut the the hand was the carries
pretty similar.
I mean it was 4845, so it wasclose.

(29:34):
What I'm saying is that if it'salready gonna be 50, 50, 13
attempts for Javante eightattempts.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
For P Ryan yeah, and for Receptions for P Ryan.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Javante had six targets.
Okay so, like Russell Wilsonalso sucks still.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Yeah, I did is wash.
I caught the end of that game.
You get a lot of dump downs tothe running backs.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
Yeah, so and Javante is already getting 48%.
Javante is gonna be up to 60,65, 70 by then this year and he
looked good like.
From what I saw, he didn't lookbad.
We talked about the Kyron thingalready.
For anyone who was concernedabout Ramon Dre, ramon Dre and

(30:17):
Zeke were 74 35 kind ofinteresting.
They played 10 9% of snapstogether.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
What about just we're you?
Guys are humbled once too.
We were talking about this whenwe came in Daniel Jones
situation like what are you guysthinking about there?

Speaker 4 (30:33):
Bad matchup, I think Like they actually moved the
ball really well in that firstdrive, the block field goal.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
I just was downhill from that he had 13 attempts on
the ground.
I yeah, probably scrambling andjust take a lot of.
No, a lot of them were designed.
He ran four times.
Yeah, first try to so that'snot terrible, right.
No, I Was but he was justgetting beat up, though in
passing fun fact Daniel Jonesscored more points than Joe
Barrow today.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Yeah, so did a Dobbs.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
Joe Burrow is horrible, the big one horrible,
but it was raining.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Well, he didn't play all he hasn't played in a long
time like what we the Browns ownthem the crazy instrument.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
He completed 14 passes and only a two yards.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Yeah, and chase that.
How many points the Josh Dobbshave, I Thought?
I saw that Dobbs had morepoints than burrow.
Is that right?

Speaker 3 (31:25):
No, I know it does in this.
I don't I mean pull him up realquick, Trent Did I'm getting a
negative.
You saw that right yeah butyou're in it.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
You're in a different way point Okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
I think there was a time in this league I'm looking
at, dobbs had one fantasy point,so there was a time when he had
more.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Lamar only had six, like the Marl.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yeah, and Lamar was a guy that I really thought was
gonna be turned the corner afterbeing paid.
Maybe it's just cuz Andrewswasn't there, I don't know that
was more in the ball game scriptthing.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
That's not really his fault.
Kenny, pick it up, man.
Hopefully very better days had.
Jalen Hertz only 12 and a halflike quarterbacks, just Terrible
.
Kind of rough this week, man.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Baker Mayfield was quarterback 11 on the week, so
far Jones was QB to.
Yeah, and I think Baker'sstreamable in the right
situation this year.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
Yeah, no, I had some Baker stacks and DFS like you
did that.
You look pretty to yeah, behindbehind to a.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
Jordan, love was three.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Yeah, jordan love look good.
Packers are good, just defenseis legit and Valley strong and
they are.
I have good offense.
Without Christian Watsonthey're gonna be good.
I think Jaden read my tort hers, so heard himself yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Jordan love than wild Jordan love might be a guy you
want to pick up.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
Jordan love is 24 years old.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Yeah why he's been in the league.
This is third year.
Yes, that's in Venice 25.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
I just I looked him up to see how old he was today
and to see he's 24.
I'm like we didn't everyonejust be like man.
It's so terrible.
He's just kind of like ridingthe bench for these first three
years but it's like probablygonna work out in his favor,
like he's coming into a reallygood, like more mature part of
his life, right at 24.
Like it's tough to start at 21.

Speaker 5 (33:11):
Yeah, yeah.
We all saw the Rickyquarterback today.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Bryce young had a hard time some of my deads of
the week.
I have Lamar Jackson, dj Mooreand I was watching that game.
It looked like DJ Mooreactually could have got more
targets, could have got the ballmore.
I don't know if Justin Fields, just the chemistry is not there.
He threw him a, he made anincredible catch out of bounds

(33:34):
on a two-point conversion at theend of the game, but I don't, I
just I don't understand why hewasn't getting more Targets, why
they didn't get more creative.
I know Jair Alexander is reallygood, but I thought he would.
And also I lost a lot ofsleeper plays because of DJ
Moore.
I had two plays that you knowwere Multipliers and he was the
only one that didn't hit.
And speaking of sleeper, that'sthe dude's favorite place to

(33:55):
play fantasy football guys.
So go into dudes 100.
They will match up to $100 andIf you haven't moved your whole
league over there yet, they havelive plays during the games are
giving away a lot of freesquares.
You just got to get twodifferent.
Just got to get two differentplays right, which it sounds
easy, and maybe if you don'tStack up four different plays,

(34:16):
it is easy.
But today I did, you know, acouple of different sets and
they were a little different andI basically Went like 90% on my
sleeper picks today.
But I had DJ Moore and all ofthem.
I need him to get over threeand a half receptions and he was
stuck at two.
So I was really excited aboutDJ Moore.
I had him, as you know, one ofmy dudes of the year, hoping
this he gets better than this.
And then Drake London, drakeLondon out there just doing a

(34:39):
jogathon out there.
I don't know why did he got onetarget, I believe zero points,
90% of snaps.

Speaker 4 (34:45):
I want to hear your falcon steak, because I also
want to hear you take on therunning backs Like I want to
hear the running backs, so I hadthe snaps percentage okay.
He's on 65% snaps 10 carries,six targets.
Tyler out here.
54% snaps 15 carries, threetargets.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
You said you it's up to say about it, oh what but
mostly what I said about DrakeLondon is that's why I was gonna
say I think he got gamescripted out today, like in Kyle
Pitts, like I think.
If I think that if he, if aritter is forced to throw those
guys the ball, I think they'llmake plays.
I just don't think they had todo it today.
The game was close, you know.

Speaker 5 (35:22):
I'm saying the problem with the Falcons is like
half their games they might nothave to throw the ball.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yeah, I won't.
Yeah, yeah, cuz they have fresh.

Speaker 5 (35:30):
They got fresh running backs and they're really
good running backs in CordillPatterson.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
I know he's a joker on their depth chart, but he
didn't even play today, right, like I think he was hurt.
So like that's another guy thatlike, maybe in two weeks I have
another, you know, just freshlegs, they're just thrown out
there.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
Here's my question, though Are you that confident
they will throw the ball evenwhen they're down?

Speaker 1 (35:49):
I Would hope so.
I would hope so that they'redown 14 points.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
How many points would it take them to throw the ball
to be down?

Speaker 1 (35:57):
I'm hoping it's only 14, but and I think ritter is
getting eased into it still to.
But yeah, the Kyle Pitt stufflike it's brutal.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
good, I think we're stuck, so that's yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
I don't think they had to lean on him today.
First the Panthers.
I think this was just a what itlike, what we're gonna have 15
for 18 115 yards.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
Yeah, the TD.
Who do you throw TD to be?
John?
Yeah, yeah, well, the runningbacks.
So I just say, the runningbacks had they got a lot of
targets right, yeah, six andnine targets combined and he's
got 18 save me quite a bit.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
So nine, nine of his targets went to running backs.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
Yeah, nine of his 18 passes, one to talk with turning
.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
Yeah, it could just be a total miss.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
So so I guess my thing is that, like Also, I
think they're gonna have a heart, they're not gonna get as down
in games because they're justgonna run the ball so much that
and they chew the clock out.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:49):
I mean, teams are gonna make him throw the ball
eventually like but I was hereand be John are good.
Yeah, no, that's so what areyou worried about?

Speaker 1 (36:57):
Oh, I'm definitely worried, you know no.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
I'm more curious by the running backs, because you
kind of like, when I brought upout here earlier, you kind of
like dismissed them a little bit.
They were not, you were just.
I was like what about out here?
And you were like B John, they're gonna give him all the
work.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
I think that B John's going to start to pull away
from this, but I think they'reboth good, like I think you can
play.
Yeah, you can play both of them.
Yeah, unfortunately you can.
I was here at 23 points totouchdowns.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
It's yeah, 94, 94 yards like.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
B John on that touchdown.
Looked really nice, though, inthat pass.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Yeah, I didn't see that, but I just saw the out of
your touch John's and he lookedreal good.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Yeah, I Just think is the.
I think B John, as the seasongoes on, will separate himself
from out here.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
They're gonna run the ball 30 times.
It may not matter.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Yeah, they're gonna have to give them both.
Is this pant like?
You have any duds you kind ofwant to talk about here, jordan?

Speaker 4 (37:53):
No, I just have.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
Is this one of the weirder first weeks of football?

Speaker 4 (37:59):
Oh, we need to talk about the Ravens.
Yeah, we're going to talk aboutrunning bad JK.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Dobbins like who's the running back there?
I don't know if it's Gus Ithink it's Justice Hill.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
Yeah, well, I mean he had eight carries, nine yards,
two touchdowns.
They're also bringing outMelvin Gordon.
I forgot this one.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
I forgot Melvin Gordon's there.
Gosh, they actually could getso ugly Guys this actually could
be so ugly.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
I think it's a stay away from me, honestly.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
I'm going to put a tweet and email out with all our
waivers.
I might even go on tomorrownight and just do like a 15
minute pod of just some waivers, just for you guys, if you want
them on the, you know when Ihave a little better grasp of
everything on Tuesday night anda guy I wish he's on injured
reserve.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
The guy I wish they had it still was Keaton Mitchell
, the rookie out of EastCarolina, because I think he
could be the guy there, but GusEdwards is he.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
This is JK Dobbins' careers over.
Yes, absolutely over.

Speaker 5 (38:49):
No one's going to keep it.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
You know what?
Maybe it is Gus Edwards.
He had eight carries, 32 yards.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
That's what I'm saying it's a mess, is what it
is.

Speaker 5 (38:56):
Gus Edwards didn't get any red zone carries.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
I hope it's a card, but I know it's not.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
It's a fullback right , I know but he's awesome.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Uh what, uh Seahawks guys, are we panicking?
Is Gino done?
Seth's?

Speaker 5 (39:11):
wearing a JSN jersey, one of my debts for the year.
I don't know if it'snecessarily Gino's fault.
We had two starting tackles, get injured.
That's true.
That doesn't help.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
So definitely doesn't help.
Doesn't help any of AaronDonald.

Speaker 5 (39:21):
Did you see him?

Speaker 1 (39:22):
yell at Aaron Donald when he was about to get sacked.
Who Did you see that clip?
Did you see it?
Aaron Donald's coming and he'sabout to hit Gino Smith and Gino
Smith's mic'd up.
You know and you just hear onthe broadcast OMG, and he throws
the ball away.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
No, way yeah.
He just says oh, I probablywouldn't have used it.
I definitely wouldn't have usedthose words, but I probably
would have said something.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
If you see Aaron Donald running at you, your
pants might be wet.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
Might be worse than that.
Like they'd be brown, yeah, itmight be a worse scenario.

Speaker 5 (39:51):
It might be pulled up in the fetal position.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Yeah, Like if you see Aaron Donald running at you in
any situation, it's just not agood idea.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, the they see how it's didnot.

Speaker 4 (40:02):
And then also actually.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
DK was pulled that dumb stunt.

Speaker 5 (40:04):
Like that was so weird, that guy's, he's a
hothead, that's a diva move,don't you think?

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Oh, maybe diva the week just clipping.
I agree 30 yards from the field.

Speaker 5 (40:14):
He's going to get fine for that.
If he doesn't get suspended,he's going to get fine, for sure
yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
I find and suspended potentially on the table here.
Yeah, Trent is on a cloud ninebecause his team played so well.
I'm sick of hearing about it.
I can't stand the Cowboys.
You often said nothing.
I'm just kidding Jordan.
You want to say anything aboutyour job?

Speaker 2 (40:32):
You were just talking about being scared, you know,
and you know, you know, maybenervous Jordan, what are you
talking?

Speaker 1 (40:36):
about how you said he'd be scared if Aaron Donald
was running at you.
Yeah, you might do more thanwet your pants.
Okay, are you going to?
Is this a?
Yeah no, just talking aboutunderdog.
You know underdogs.

Speaker 5 (40:44):
I'm trying to get a place.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
I knew I played DFS.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
You can do some drafts.
We did a draft on the pod whowon?
I won.
I honestly didn't look, Ipromise you.

Speaker 4 (40:53):
I didn't, of course, you won.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Oh nice I honestly, I did that during the live stream
.
I picked.

Speaker 5 (40:58):
Chase over Tyree kill .

Speaker 1 (41:00):
So rough so we did an underdog draft on here.
Inter promo code dude, so matchup to $100.
We're going to do a draft inhere every week, you know, at
the end of our Thursday pause.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Let's clap it up for that.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
That's awesome Come on, let's clap it up, for that I
need to see Jordan clap.

Speaker 3 (41:13):
I'm not stopping until I see his.
There we go, there we go.

Speaker 1 (41:17):
I'm just a little bit of tilting here, but any other
headline here.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
Trent, I got a little , I'll let's play a little game
here, most most surprising thingof the day for you.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Most surprising thing of the day for me.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
He may not get back to you this answer time.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
I might need to think when I woke up this morning,
noah you didn't get a cramp, letme.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
You didn't have the double underbooks, as he called
it.

Speaker 4 (41:45):
You go home the surprising thing for me was the
Niners Steelers game and how,how good rock party was and how
bad can you pick it was, andthat whole Steelers offense.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
Okay, hate to say I told you so.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
You have one, phillip , you guys have one.

Speaker 5 (42:00):
I would say I'm surprised how bad the Bengals
were.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
I would say it's just not because, like they were on
the road in Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (42:08):
I know, they've struggled against Cleveland in
the past, like they did the samething last year.

Speaker 5 (42:12):
But I just thought maybe this would be the game
where it's like, okay, thisisn't a trend anymore.
You know, for me also likeright there with the Steelers.

Speaker 4 (42:19):
You'd be like how about the commanders look to?

Speaker 1 (42:21):
commanders look bad yeah.

Speaker 4 (42:23):
You have one yet, Trent.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
I want to say Dishon Watson finished as one, two,
three, four, five finishes QBsix, 21 points.
On the day I had some niceplays to a Mari Cooper stuff.

Speaker 5 (42:35):
I had a rushing.
He ran in a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (42:38):
He was technically tied for a third Trent, wasn't
he?
Yes, he's technically tied forRichard and Richardson played
really well.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
Like that surprised me, Like I kind of was pumping
him up this off season.
He looked good.
I know he got hurt Sounds likehe's going to play, but probably
at Richardson and Dishon Watsonwere the biggest surprises I
had today for them playing.
Speaking of the Browns, ElijahEli was Elijah Moore had a good
pre-solved game and he got somehandoffs.
So you might want to look.

(43:06):
That might be a good waiverwire and I'm not sure what his
roster ship is.
And another thing didn'tsurprise me the Chargers are
still the Chargers.
Like they just find ways tolose these close games that they
should win.
You know the Dolphins had both.
They had their best offensivelinemen out and they didn't give
up one sack to Bosa or CleoMack.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
Yeah, do you feel anything?

Speaker 3 (43:29):
No, I, I.
It's not necessarily a surprise, but it's just cool to see that
the Lions are still.
I don't want to call themclutch, no, but no, hear me out.
Game one back.
It's not a Cinderella story.
Like the Lions are going to beconsistently good, I think the
remainder of the season and Idon't think it's going to you're
going to stop this train.
Like they may end up winningthe NFC North.
Like they're going to spank the.
I think they're going to spankthe Vikings.

(43:50):
They're going to spank theVikings and they spank the
Panthers.
Guarantee, like Mark my wordsno, sorry, spank the Packers and
spank the Vikings.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
They might spank the Panthers too.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
The other one, but but but do you get what I'm
saying?
Like they played a gritty game,a tough game, against a team
who gave, who gave them, whogave them some handouts a little
bit, but they, they grinded itout and ended up winning that
game.
Like I think that's a big deal.

Speaker 4 (44:12):
I just agree with you .
I just think that's crazy.
I think they're going to beatthe Packers in Lambo like that
easy after how good the Packerslook today.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
Yeah, don't count Dan Campbell out.
That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (44:21):
I got one more, one more question.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
Calvin Ridley.

Speaker 4 (44:24):
Calvin Ridley pod you know, trevor Lawrence, yeah,
okay, okay, you know like I likethis.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
I like this.
Questions from Jordan, like weshould do that.
Hey, that was more.

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Yeah, just don't give us the pop quizzes anymore, for
goodness sake.

Speaker 3 (44:36):
But also when he like tries to prompt.
Really that's what you'rethinking Like, dude.
You asked my opinion Like Idon't know what to say here, but
I like them, I like them.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
I got one more.

Speaker 3 (44:43):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
Who hurt you the most today?

Speaker 1 (44:47):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
Who hurt me the most?

Speaker 1 (44:50):
When I was walking outside this morning.
Oh, never mind, stupid.

Speaker 3 (44:53):
Not even funny.

Speaker 4 (44:55):
Not even funny.
Your wallet today Like just.
I were you like I already said, yours today.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
Yeah, I would say DJ Moore was probably the most
hurtful, most hurtful guy to mein fantasy football.
Tyree, kill Guy Toley.
I played against Justin.

Speaker 2 (45:08):
Fields I played against?

Speaker 1 (45:09):
I played against Justin Fields, you know, in my
home league, and I'm like, oh,justin Fields is just wetting
the bed Like this is great, terrible for my DJ, more pick.
But you know he also has waddleor no.
Well, tyree kill, I've beencalling Tyree kill waddle all
day today, I don't know why.
And Tyree kill just goesabsolutely bonkers on me.
That last TD catch looks likeit skids the Chargers, corners,

(45:32):
shoulder pad and somehow hecatches it for the touchdown.

Speaker 5 (45:35):
One for 15, two hundred fifteen two touchdowns,
39 points.

Speaker 4 (45:39):
Tyree was really good for me.

Speaker 5 (45:40):
Yeah, Tyree, no, yeah I.
It was fun to watch, but Iplayed Tyree in three out of my
five and he single handed melike lost.

Speaker 3 (45:49):
Yeah, as rough your plan One the guy.

Speaker 5 (45:51):
I was playing two game in two different leagues.

Speaker 4 (45:53):
So yeah, Uh, Trent or Seth, you have most hurt most.
Who's the most hurtful to youtoday?

Speaker 5 (46:03):
And I want to say it was Drake Leonard just putting
up just a straight up dud, LikeI could say like Chase, but he's
still got me six and a halfpoints.
But I would say Drake Leonardgetting his absolute zero.

Speaker 3 (46:14):
Jalen hurts.
Jalen hurts for me and itwasn't that bad.
I mean, it was 11 points in thein two different leagues but I
just expected a lot more from, was hoping for a lot more from
him, I feel like that's pretty.

Speaker 5 (46:24):
I think the weather played a big role in quite a few
of these games.

Speaker 4 (46:28):
I got three.
I don't mean go to overboard,no, no, bring it, this is the
content that we earn for yearand four.
Sorry, you're number one I wouldsay is Mike Williams.
I had I could even pull it upright now I'm not going to be
able to put it I had like 40%Mike Williams in DFS this week.

(46:48):
I had Mike Williams props onthe over his receiving yards
Like I had him pair with thefree scare was free square with
CMC on sleeper.
I had, so like he.
Just he hurt me big time and hehe went out for about the whole
second quarter which didn'thelp.
And then number two would beRichard White.
I had like 55% Richard White inDFS and I had he was another

(47:13):
one I had a lot of action on hisprop and I was rushing prop and
then no, no Steelers.
No, I wasn't at the Niners.
I wasn't.
I wasn't overexposed toSteelers.

Speaker 3 (47:23):
Okay, you didn't come in hot and it's anyway wise to
the Steelers this week.

Speaker 4 (47:28):
And then number three would be Jamar Chase.
I have been in my main league, one of my main money leagues,
and that was killer.
And then I actually have astack with Burrow in that league
and then, I had lots of Jamar.
I mean, I was very highlyexposed to Hill, jefferson and
Chase and two of those three arereally good, but I just you
just need more at that salaryand DFS.

(47:48):
So those three guys were themost hurtful to.
Honestly, if Mike Williams andRichard White have big days, I'm
probably feeling a lot betterright now.

Speaker 1 (47:58):
Even like Justin Jefferson had a really good game
, but it was like all first half.
It was really weird.
I think he had over a hundredand something yards in the first
half.

Speaker 4 (48:07):
He really, really was the same way.
They both were big first halfMaybe it just surprised me.

Speaker 1 (48:11):
The Vikings lost that game with how fast they they
never really pulled away.
But like Jefferson had a goodgame, addison had a touchdown.
Addison had four receptions forfour for a touchdown 14 fancy
points.
He is I'm not sure what he'srostered completely.

Speaker 4 (48:27):
I mean targets.
Addison have six.
I think that's pretty good.
I mean they're going to throwthe ball.
We know they're going to throwthe ball.
Madison didn't look great likeon the ground, like, but also
like the Bucks are still havinga solid run defense.
Yeah, the Bucks a little better, I thought they were going to
be.
I mean, I think Vikings gamesare games you're going to want
to target.

Speaker 1 (48:46):
Did.
The only team that lost in theAFC South was it the Panthers.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
Well, when the AFC South an AFC South.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
Sorry.

Speaker 4 (48:54):
The AFC South would be.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
Saints one.

Speaker 4 (48:58):
I say Titan game was ugly.

Speaker 1 (49:00):
Raiders are in first place.
We should probably, you know, clap it up for that.

Speaker 3 (49:08):
What was your Raiders ?
I know you got a good Raidersbuddy.
Was he just going off today?

Speaker 5 (49:12):
I mean, no one was excited about Jimmy Garoppolo,
but he was excited, though, about the one and they were
really happy that the Chargerslost yeah, wash quarterbacks in
that game, jimmy G.

Speaker 4 (49:22):
And well, jimmy G, the Raiders are the only team in
the hip-sea West that won agame this week.

Speaker 1 (49:27):
That's true, yeah, so first place.

Speaker 3 (49:29):
And this is the second or third year where
they're doing Divisional play, like right at the beginning,
which to me, I just kind of hateit.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
They've done it for a while.
I just said three years.
No, it's been longer than threeyears.
I don't think it's the Cowboys, and the Cowboys and Giants play
week one every year for likealmost as long as I can remember
More consistently, moreconsistently.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
Usually it's not divisional games right out the
jump look it up.
The last three years it's beenpretty intense.
All right, what are we?
What are we moving on here next?
Is there anything?
Jordan, do you have any otherquestions?
I shouldn't cut you off.
Maybe you have to think of athird.
We need a third question.

Speaker 1 (50:02):
Justin's fields was what?

Speaker 2 (50:04):
you snap under the game yeah did you?

Speaker 1 (50:06):
yeah, justin Fields was brutal like you spent.
You spent draft capital onJustin Fields and he totally
just he didn't, simply did notcare.

Speaker 5 (50:15):
I guess maybe some other big surprises, like we had
some guys that we had big weeksthat like probably not a lot of
people had or started JacobiMyers, kendrick, michael Pittman
, like is it possible he hasanother 20-point week, maybe not
.

Speaker 4 (50:30):
Michael Pittman.
Yeah, Richardson might justyeah.

Speaker 5 (50:33):
Richardson's just gonna Yolo ball that guy I mean,
is Kendrick born gonna haveanother 21-point week?

Speaker 4 (50:37):
Well, part of that was the Vonte Parker was out and
Jacobi Myers, is he reallygonna?

Speaker 3 (50:42):
be that good.

Speaker 4 (50:43):
Definitely can't hope you might not play football for
a while.
The guy was like since I can'tuse the word again, but he was
literally knocked out cold, likethe guy like I knocked out,
like only fought in the UFCfight night before.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
Yeah, against Shawn Strickland Also.
That was the UFC fight thenight before.

Speaker 4 (51:02):
I wasn't yeah.

Speaker 3 (51:04):
He won.

Speaker 4 (51:04):
I said he was most surprising thing all week when
Shawn Strickland beating hisyeah, I saw you and that
probably hurt you the most.

Speaker 3 (51:10):
Yeah, also very hurtful was that upset right
yeah, um Go ahead, trent.

Speaker 1 (51:17):
No, I I think that kind of you guys.
Do we have any other footballtalk here we want to talk about
on this?
What else do you guys have?
I've kind of went through mynotes.
I I'll have a waiver articlecoming out.

Speaker 4 (51:29):
I'll put them on Twitter and stuff off top of my
head, like if I had to give likea top five waiver party.
We're top of my head right now,in really no particular order.
I think it'd be like gain Well, kyron Williams, pukin, a kua
from the Rams, maybe like a GusEdwards, and then, man, is there

(51:50):
anyone else that's comes toyour mind?

Speaker 5 (51:53):
If you want to grab at will maybe at well is right
there.

Speaker 4 (51:57):
Zay Jones, maybe he was.
Christian Kirk was not involved.
I'd like to see that His targetcount and kind of like yeah,
maybe.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
Maybe rush shade Shahid on the Saints had a
decent game in a deeper, I think.

Speaker 4 (52:09):
I like those Rams receivers a little bit better
than him.
Yeah, I don't.
I'm against.
Jaguars must have been in threewe see her cut three targets I
wonder what a snap snap was thisnot?
Since there is, I'm fine withit.

Speaker 1 (52:25):
I Did a little tight end tweet.
You know about tight ends.
You could straightly washorrible today too.

Speaker 4 (52:31):
How about that guy who was hurtful to the wallet?
I say a likely.

Speaker 1 (52:34):
I, I did it, yeah, nothing.

Speaker 4 (52:35):
I just but again, that was a product of Lamar and
how that game went and so likelywas likely killed me.

Speaker 1 (52:43):
I did a little thread on Twitter that had a Just
tight ends to fill in.
I did three tight ends thatcould fill in for Travis Kelsey.
I put Gerald Everett on theresaid killing more has been known
in the past to have offensesthat Target the tight end.
I said Gerald Everett, it wasparham, finally he had nine

(53:03):
fancy points, and then I've been.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
We'll give you some credit for the other guy had was
Jake Ferguson from Dallas.

Speaker 4 (53:11):
I.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Couldn't catch the ball, but he had seven targets.

Speaker 5 (53:14):
So I really.
It was raining profusely.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
So I think, jake, I think.

Speaker 4 (53:18):
It was raining really bad.
Ferguson's a guy, stash him onemore guy that I think is also
interesting.
It's Luke Musgrave.

Speaker 1 (53:25):
Yeah, oh, he let his team in he let his team in snaps
.

Speaker 4 (53:29):
Okay skill player snaps.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
Yeah, and he's the fastest guy in the wide receiver
room and he's a tight end yeahhe's tied in.
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (53:35):
I think that Luke Musgrave could be.
He had 50 receiving yards today.
Yeah curious how many catcheswere on those I'm trying to find
what it.

Speaker 1 (53:46):
What is Musgraves Roster ship?

Speaker 4 (53:49):
Super high like it's low must give over.
Likely like hidden hearst isnot, I think, a bad option
either.

Speaker 5 (53:56):
Three for four.

Speaker 4 (53:58):
What must grave?

Speaker 1 (53:58):
my sleeper is saying zero percent roster.

Speaker 3 (54:01):
Yeah, it's something's wrong right now on
sleeper because I'm getting alot of that for a couple
different players Trent.
I wouldn't go off that mustgrave.

Speaker 1 (54:07):
Yeah, I would play in person I heard, had seven
targets today.
Where's Hayden Hurst at rightnow, carolina, okay.

Speaker 4 (54:15):
I think that's one's also interesting.
So there's just a few fewoptions as quick, quick waivers,
if I'll talk my head.

Speaker 1 (54:27):
Alright, I I don't know if I really want to touch
any of the chiefs running backsuntil I'm proved otherwise.
Pacheco's the best one, butthey still seems like they don't
know their identity there yet.

Speaker 4 (54:38):
Are we doing divas?

Speaker 1 (54:39):
Let's do some divas.
Anyone have any divas here?

Speaker 4 (54:41):
Okay, oh yeah, we talked about in the text for a
while, like people who enjoyWhatever whatever this was
called that I had to watch todayon the red zone.
You guys are divas.
Like you guys is horrible.

Speaker 3 (54:53):
What, what are you?
Oh, are you talking about?
Oh?

Speaker 4 (54:56):
my gosh, it is so much.

Speaker 3 (54:57):
He's a handsome hater .

Speaker 4 (54:58):
It's so much.
No, it's not a handsome, it'sthe production of it Like do you
think?
So much worse.

Speaker 1 (55:04):
The direct TV to Ciliano Old school and it felt
so they take it like it is badReally and you guys, like it is
my morning, so what I wasthinking about is, maybe with
the full slate and not as manybuys, and the morning slate
having more games than normal.
Maybe it was extra behind thenormal, I don't remember it
being that far behind last year.

Speaker 5 (55:25):
I'm already my other issue.

Speaker 4 (55:26):
It's usually not I like, and also I've had the old
one for seven, eight years, soI've watched it for seven eight
years.

Speaker 3 (55:32):
You're used to it.

Speaker 4 (55:33):
I'm used to it.
It's like like I'm likewatching whip around coverage
out there, like it's like we'regoing like one play here One,
play there one play.

Speaker 3 (55:42):
No, I can understand what you're saying with that.
I can't understand.

Speaker 4 (55:44):
We're saying that it's just like the team is.
It's called the red zonechannel.
The Dolphins are in the redzone right now.
Why are we take going away fromthe?

Speaker 1 (55:54):
game.
I think they were missing.
I think they were purposelybeing behind or something that
they should have just the way.

Speaker 4 (56:00):
It's just like why don't we just stay on this game?
It's in the red zone.
Why are we going to theCommander's game when it's?

Speaker 3 (56:07):
if it's a closer game , though, if it's a closer game
in the red zone, where they'relike quarter, though why doesn't
?
Matter, I'm just.
I'm just saying, I'm justtrying to give you some
potential up like.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
He's trying to talk you off a ledge.
I'm a little bit worried.

Speaker 4 (56:21):
I was this the second the afternoon or after half
time.
There's only two games andthey're going like back and
forth.
That was okay.
But when there's like sevengames and you're trying to like
play here, play there, playthere, play there, play there,
play there, it's just like no, Iknow what you're talking about,
it, could it?

Speaker 1 (56:35):
seemed very behind this week and I don't know if
they're trying somethingdifferent.
That's crazy to me, though, butit never was, because I would
get sleeper alerts and then theplay would happen on red zone.
This year it was like AnthonyRichardson's hurt and I didn't
find out for like ten minutes onred.

Speaker 4 (56:50):
So like we end up like watching the four doing the
four box, which is not the fourboxes, sweet before boxes,
really is it better than two TVs.
Two TVs with the four box to besweet.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
I don't know if I can comprehend that much from being
honest like I don't.
I think I'm good with four.

Speaker 4 (57:06):
Well, yeah, I'm not, but but the problem was, trent,
is that we had the three gamesand like we were watching like
mostly like my dad's, thecommander's fans, so we had the
commanders up there, I was theJaguar's, the Jaguars game, that
we were watching a lot of theVikings Tampa game, but like we

(57:27):
would watch it and then we'dhave the red zone on the one and
like the 45 seconds later thered zone would show the same
play we already that's prettybad watch.

Speaker 3 (57:36):
And you're listening to red zone, huh Listen cuz you
could choose.
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (57:39):
Yeah.
So I don't know Like I justthink that like the way the
legit and maybe it's one week, maybe you'll get better.
But like people who like thatand and honestly, like I can see
why you like the Hanson over tosilly on it.
It's not about that for me.
It's more about like just theway they run the production of
it and how they run it and likeyou would have to silly on a

(58:00):
pretty, pretty tough hard.

Speaker 3 (58:01):
There I like to see.
I mean sorry, hanson, no, it'snot.

Speaker 4 (58:03):
Hanson, it's.
It's not the person, it's theproduction of it.
Like it's just how it's set up.

Speaker 3 (58:09):
It's not them, it's you, kind of a deal.

Speaker 4 (58:11):
No, it's not the guy.

Speaker 3 (58:12):
I hate when people tell me that it's not the it's
not.

Speaker 4 (58:14):
The employee is the employer.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
I hear you know, but I understand what you're saying
when they go back and forth toyou quickly.
But I will say last year theywere not, they were not, so they
actually I didn't think theywere behind last year.
Yeah did you think that, trent?
I didn't think it was that.

Speaker 5 (58:29):
I always knew that you Know behind a little behind,
but usually not it wasn't 45seconds it helps when bias come
around and it's a little.

Speaker 4 (58:36):
I mean, if you're only watching the red zone
channel, it's probably okaybecause you don't know any
better, right, but when, like, you're watching, usually what
I've done in the past I have theone game on and I have red zone
on my iPad.

Speaker 1 (58:50):
Yeah yes, you're ready.

Speaker 4 (58:51):
I'm not gonna change that for you, because you can
just put four games up at once.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
I did that today.

Speaker 4 (58:57):
Yeah, I actually didn't have red zone on really
today, I just did the four wedid at some point, just because
it was like there's, but thenit's just kind of like it's nice
, so you can just have.
It's like football is back.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
Football is back.
We're all excited.
This guy's just blowing up thegroup text about how bad this
red zone is.

Speaker 3 (59:12):
Jordan had some bold takes.
This Jordan was fired up thisweekend.
He was upset that the Bulldogswon.

Speaker 4 (59:20):
And he's a Bulldog fan.
You want to defend yourself onthat I shouldn't have brought it
up.
We can take that out.
We can take that out.

Speaker 3 (59:27):
I can take it out.

Speaker 1 (59:28):
