Speaker 2 (00:11):
This is the Fantasy.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Football Dudes podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
What is up my dudes?
This is Trent with the FantasyFootball Dudes podcast.
I am here to give our week fivewaivers, so you will not want
to miss that.
So go ahead, don't be rude.
Share the dudes.
It really helps us out, guys.
If we helped you, you can helpus by sharing this with friends,
because the more listens, themore views everything at
KFFDudes on Twitter, instagramand YouTube.

(00:38):
If you can share us, it reallyhelps us out.
Can't keep saying that more.
But if you enjoy the pod, keepchecking us out guys.
So got the hat on a littlecrooked here.
I'm all messed up.
So anyways, yeah, I'm wearingthe Bucky shirt again.
You know, I thought a lot ofpeople said it was a good look,
so I'm going to keep rollingwith it.
I'm wearing an Indian hat, bucky shirt.
Doesn't get more middle classAmerica than that.

(01:01):
So you know, we got some waivershere and just got back from a
big trip, like I told you, and Ienjoyed a nice little lunch one
day, and this is today'sarticle.
I, you know, if you want thewhole article, I'll give you the
meat and potatoes here onYouTube and on the podcast.
What?
The whole, everything, thewhole.
Enchilada, all that stuff, alot of food references today.

(01:23):
I might say you need to go overto wwwDFantasyFootballDudescom.
Get this whole waiver list sentdirectly to your email at
midnight and yeah, it's reallygood midnight Pacific time, so
not sure where you're listening, but yeah, this thing will go
boom right to your inbox firstthing, and it has everything, so
you won't want to miss it.
Got all the stuff right therein your inbox.

(01:45):
You can see all the players, everything.
But this past week I enjoyedsome fancy dining at the famous
Miss Wilkes restaurant inSavannah Georgia, and basically
it's family style.
Y'all sit down, 26, just lotsof side deals.
And I'm going to bring this allback into football, like I
always do, guys, but I enjoyedthe dining at the famous Miss

(02:09):
Wilkes in Savannah Georgia thispast weekend, while we had heard
all about the raving reviewsabout their fried chicken.
The daunting tasks, though, ofthat two hour wait really left
us wondering if any friedchicken was worth that.
Despite the skeptics in ourgroup, my uncle and me, we held
our place in line.
We would not budge, we wouldnot move.
We were going to have thatfried chicken and all those

(02:30):
delicious side dishes.
So, after enduring that two anda half hours, we were rewarded
with a feast of fried chickenaccompanied by mouth watering
sides including mashed potatoes, collard, greens, grits and corn
.
A whopping 26 side dishes intotal.
Fit for royalty.
Was it worth the wait?
Would I do it again?

(02:50):
Absolutely Now.
In today's fast paced world, where many crave instant
gratification from the likes offast food, it's rare to find
something worth waiting for.
The same impatience has creptinto the realm of fantasy
football.
We underestimate the recoverytime needed for Joe Burrow's
calf strain and it's become moreand more evident that he's been

(03:11):
playing through discomfort.
In hindsight, it might havebeen better for him to sit those
first few weeks, like JamarChase insisted he did, instead
of playing through thediscomfort.
Joe Burrow on the seasonsaveraging 8.8 fantasy points per
game a total letdown for allthe guys that draft him in
fantasy football, as well as thecity of Cincinnati and Jamar

(03:32):
Chase, t Higgins it's not prettyguys.
Patience.
I've been been bartered withquestions about Burrow versus
Stroud or Burrow versus Staffordor Burrow almost anybody.
And like a year ago youwouldn't think twice about that
and I've been sticking to myguns like hey, you got to play
Burrow.
There's no way you can handleBurrow going off on your bench,

(03:55):
like if Burrow went off and hewas on my bench and I lost
because I didn't play Joe Burrow, I'm going to be mad.
So I've been saying play him, play him, play him.
We're now to the point where Ithink we got to let him prove it
to us.
I'm not sure how he's doing withthis calf injury.
Like I said, in the past I'vehad calf injuries.
You all made fun of me and saidTrent, you're not a world-class

(04:17):
athlete, you know.
So these guys were to coverfaster.
That's true, I'm not arguingwith that.
But they told me that it wouldtake me four to six weeks.
I said, okay, kind of likeJulian Edelman.
And my doctor looked at me andsaid, yeah, exactly like Julian
Edelman, but you can't doanything for those four to six
weeks.
And he's pushing it.
This is not going to get better.

(04:37):
The bi-week's not going to helpthat much, just going to make
him think he's a little bitbetter.
You can just keep pulling thesecalves over and over.
Just, I can't confidentlyrecommend to play Joe Burrow,
and not 100%.
Joe Burrow will be back thoughat some point.
I think he can get there whereI just don't know if your team

(04:57):
will be in playoff contentionwhere he's finally in that group
.
He's having to throw different.
It's his plant leg.
I don't know if your fantasyteam is going to be able to make
playoffs if you hang on to JoeBurrow this whole entire time.
You're going to have to bepatient, though.
I believe Joe Burrow and TrevorLawrence I think both of them
will finally have get back thatfantasy relevance, but we kind
of think we want to wait forthem.

(05:17):
Let them prove it to us.
Just some guys that are doingbetter in fantasy football than
Joe Burrow Quarterbacks withfewer fantasy points and Josh
Dobbs after four weeks.
Jared Goff, joe Burrow, trevorLawrence, dak Prescott, sean
Watson, daniel Jones, mattStafford Bad list.
Okay, all those guys gotdrafted.
Josh Dobbs didn't get drafted, most likely in your fantasy

(05:37):
league, unless you're in somekind of super flex.
So, yeah, that is really bad.
Again, quarterbacks with fewerfantasy points and Josh Dobbs
after four weeks.
Jared Goff, joe Burrow, trevorLawrence, dak Prescott this,
sean Watson, daniel Jones andMatt Stafford.
Now I'm a little frustrated andI'm a little hungry after all
this talk, but for better FancyFootball performances, let's

(06:00):
explore some top waiver wireadditions for week 5.
Below are my favorite waiverwire options with roster
percentages below 68%.
On sleeper, if you want theultimate Fancy Football
experience, consider switchingyour league to sleeper today.
We also have some excitingpicks and plays.
Use promo code DUDES100,.
They'll match up to $100.
Ranking's are half point PPRand we're done with the help of

(06:22):
PFF.
And all these rankings we'redone before Monday night
football.
So teams on buy for week 5, wehave the Browns, chargers,
seahawks and Buccaneers.
Some of these teams might havesome good players get dropped.
So make sure to check yourleague and see you know you got
to check that league see who hasdropped, see who has not

(06:42):
dropped all that good stuff.
So go check the waiver wireit's not just on Tuesday but see
who those knuckleheads in yourleague dropped.
For example I've been talkingabout it Jackson Smith Najibah.
He did not have a great game onMonday night football.
He had two fantasy points.
The Seahawks are going on to abuy.

(07:03):
There's a good chance the guy inyour league that had Jackson
Smith Najibah drops him thisweek.
Maybe his team's not doing thatgood, I know he's a rookie.
We've been talking aboutpatience, waiting in line good
food to eat.
Jackson Smith Najibah his timewill come this year.
You're just going to have tohold on.
Okay, stand to your ground.
If someone drops Jackson SmithNajibah, he's 76% rostered.

(07:24):
Pick him up, put him on yourroster.
He is on a buy week.
You won't be able to play him.
But right now, when the buyweeks come, it's when people
start releasing those rookiesand it takes rookies a couple of
weeks.
I said from the end of the year, jackson Smith Najibah I didn't
want to draft him and that'swhy I made him a dud of the year
, because I thought it wouldtake him long to get going with
all the time he missed duringpreseason.
I know he recovered a lotfaster, but he is wide receiver

(07:49):
103 on the season.
If you're a team that you know, maybe you're one in three, oh
and four, two and two, maybeyou're looking, you know, to cut
the cut, the.
You know cut a little fat offthe bench.
You know, look for somethingelse on the waiver wire.
Just check who gets dropped inthese leads.
Rookies tend to get dropped asthe season goes along.
So once the buy weeks comealong, rookies get dropped.

(08:10):
Quarterbacks CJ Stroud again55% rostered through 300 plus
yards and win over the Steelershis second 300 yard game this
season.
He is a high end QB one.
This week is the Texans head toAtlanta.
Number two on my quarterbackwaiver wire, I have Sam Howe,
20% rostered.
Had a solid performance thisweek versus the Eagles and as a

(08:31):
string of great matchups withChicago, atlanta and the New
York John giants all on thedocket the next three games,
paul Howe is a solid streamingoption for the next couple of
weeks.
Now that might be a guy youmight want to play if you have
Joe Burrow.
Maybe you want to not play JoeBurrow, maybe you need to.
You know, kind of like, hey, joey, show me, show me, I'm

(08:54):
going to.
Just, you know, maybe put youin the corner over here, I'm
going to play Sam Howe.
It's like I, if you're winningwith Joe Burrow right now, you
got to feel really good aboutyourself.
But maybe plug in Sam Howe, teach old Joey boy lesson, I
don't know.
Number three on the list JoshDobbs, 9% rostered.
Has been very viable streamingoption, like the tweet I read

(09:14):
you from Michael Fabiano.
I did not come with that on myown.
You know, like I said earlier, the quarterbacks that all have
more points.
I'm going to put this up onYouTube here.
I'm putting on YouTube righthere.
Quarterbacks with fewer fantasypoints and Josh Dobbs that for
four weeks.
Jared Goff, joe Burrow, trevorLawrence, dak Prescott, sean
Watson, daniel Jones, mattStafford Check that out again,

(09:39):
my quarterbacks that I have onthis list.
I have CJ Stroud, 55% rostered, sam Howell, 20% rostered, and
Josh Dobbs, 9% rostered.
Remember to check over headover to YouTube.
Give us a like and subscribe.
I got all these images on thescreen.
You can screenshot it.
You know, go look at it lateror sign it for the email, but
you've probably missed the emailalready so you're kind of in

(09:59):
trouble.
So go over to YouTube.
That is what I would recommendfor now.
Next we have our running backs, guys, and our running backs we
have.
What do we got here on the listguys?
Let me find my notes here.
Running backs Khalil Herbert,65% rostered.
He had 100 yards rushing versusthe Broncos, caught a touchdown
.
This performance should putHerbert ahead of rookie Rochon

(10:21):
Johnson.
You'll see, bears are kind of adumpster fire, but this is a
guy that's getting first teamreps and an offense that looked
to be.
You know, maybe Jelon finally, maybe the bears finally get
their win, who knows?
Next on the list, I got JolielMcLaughlin, 2% rostered.
Javonte Williams went down withan injury should miss some time
.
Mclaughlin led the way in theBroncos backfield 100 total

(10:44):
yards of offense and the 18 yardTD catch should be a popular
waiver claim this week.
I have one, two, three, fourrunning back handcuffs.
I will save those all for theemail.
You're gonna have to wait forthose guys.
So if you want all theinformation, go to
wwwthefantasyfootballdudescom.
Sign up for that dude's letter.

(11:05):
It's a great place to make youlaugh, make you cry.
All the good stuff.
I got Khalil Herbert, 65%rostered.
Joliel McLaughlin, 2% rostered, with Javonte Williams going
down.
That is a good add there.
All right, if you wanna get ourwhole week four recap guys me
and the dudes of the week fourrecap.
We talked about Toy Story, andy's room, all the good stuff

(11:28):
that happened this week.
We had some fun stuff, welaughed, we cried.
All that good stuff when wewent wrong, where we went right,
and always remember we will beback on Thursday.
Wherever you listen to podcastsand on YouTube Wide receivers.
It's a little fun here again.
A little more action Runningbacks for boring.
But, like I said, I got fourguys on the email list.

(11:49):
You might wanna check that out.
All very low rostered.
All guys that could potentiallycrack the backfield at any
given week.
Wide receivers Michael Wilson, arizona Cardinals 6% rostered.
Rookie out of Stanford, caughtall seven of his passes on
Sunday for 76 yards and twotouchdowns.
He seemed to have passedRondeau Moore up on the depth
chart.
Like I said, dobbs is veryserviceable.

(12:12):
Qb Cardinals are playing tough.
They're playing tough.
These birds aren't messingaround.
Number two on the list I gotRomeo Dubs, 62% rostered.
Despite the return of ChristianWatson, dubs was still Love's
favorite target last Thursdaynight.
He has a good matchup this weekversus Las Vegas.
Number three Jamison Williams53% rostered.

(12:35):
Nfl reinstated Williams.
After changing their gamblingpolicy this past week, he is
eligible to return this week.
Might not play him, they mightease him into the scheme, but
Jamison Williams deserves a spoton your roster guys.
So go add Jamison Williams.
Looking at the whole widereceivers that we had, I have
Michael Wilson 6% rostered.

(12:56):
Romeo Dubs 62% rostered.
Jamison Williams 53% rostered.
Now going over to my favoritepart of this episode the tight
ends.
I always enjoy looking in overat the tight ends and the guy
that's been on the list thewhole entire season, jake
Ferguson, 51% rostered.
Dallas Cowboys tight end Dakloves throwing to the big guys.

(13:18):
There was a play on Sunday'smatchup that Ferg got absolutely
demolished, but he held ontothe ball.
He's getting better each week.
Tough matchup this week againstthe 49ers Dallas Cowboys 49ers
old 90s throwback Should be alot of fun.
Definitely will be watchingthat game.
I still think you can play himin this matchup.
Don't worry, eventually he willnot be on this list anymore.

(13:40):
He is tight end eight on theseason.
Cole Comet, number two 57%rostered.
Cole found the end zone twiceon Sunday.
We will see if Justin Fieldskeeps looking for him this week
when they take on the commanders.
This past week's finish he hadtwo touchdown catches.
Puts him at tight end three onthe season.
Number three Zach Ertz 36%rostered.

(14:03):
It scares me how many Cardinalsare on this list.
Dobbs looks good though.
Like I said, ertz is tight end10 on the season.
