So it says R Kelly collapsed inhis North Carolina prison cell
after being given what hislawyer says was a dangerous
overdose of medication while insolitary confinement.
The incident allegedly tookplace just days after Kelly's
team accused the prisonofficials of plotting to kill

According to court filings, a58-year-old singer was given
additional medication by staffon Thursday.
The next morning he reportedlyfainted, experienced dizziness
and vision loss and was rushedto Duke University Hospital.
Doctors determined he hadreceived a life-threatening dose

of medication and kept himunder observation for two days.
His attorney now alleges theoverdose was not accidental.
That means within two days offiling this motion, the Bureau
of Prisons officialsadministered an amount of
medication that significantlyexceeded a safe dose and caused

Mr Kelly to overdose, puttinghis life in jeopardy.
They gave him an amount ofmedicine that could have killed
him.
The emergency motion filed inIllinois on Monday is the third
request to release Kelly fromconfinement.

At first I thought maybe peoplewere exaggerating and maybe
