the story behind my name?
I'm like all excited about it,like she's gonna give me like
some like grandiose thing orwhatever, and she's just like,
um yeah, so my younger sister, like this guy in the
neighborhood, his name was.
His name was tarone and I waslike so I'm named after the fine
nigga in the in theneighborhood.
His name was Terrone and I waslike so I'm named after the fine
nigga in the neighborhood, likewhat, that's crazy.
Tim (01:00):
I said first off I don't

If I get pulled over, I ain'ttalking.
Keep my mouth shut, smart man.
Second thing I don't talk tothe cops.
If I get pulled over, I ain'ttalking.
Keep my mouth shut, smart man.
Second thing I ain't blowingeither.

blowing.
They're going to have to get myblood.

like preloading your mouth.

Like man, we got to get you onand then it just hasn't happened
and like you talked about whenyou first met Chad.
Javier (04:23):
I think I first met you
at the Amplif, or not, at that
817 Day show.
Was it Avery's?
No, it was not the 817.
This past 817.
You weren't at this 817 Day,the one before that.
Chad (04:37):
Where y'all did the show.
I was out of town, that one.
Javier (04:40):
No, no, I wasn't at that
one either, because you were
was it two years ago?
Not performing.
Kevin Tyrone (04:47):
Not performing, it
would have had to have been at
least two, if not three, yearsyeah yeah, and then Teresa was
saying that you don't rememberme at the after party for Lou.
Chad (05:02):
You don't remember you at
the after party for Lou bro.
Tim (05:06):
You didn't even know you
were there.
You got up on stage and danced.
Hell yeah, I did.
Javier (05:10):
Crazy, I danced like a
fool.
Let's see it.
Tim (05:13):
It's going to be like DJ
Khaled.
Just you know dancing like anidiot.
I don't even think you rememberhow you danced.
Javier (05:18):
I think I kind of do no,
no, I don't, no, I don't.
I think I was swag surfing Ithink you took your clothes off
At one point.
Kevin Tyrone (05:25):
Are we talking
real swag surfing or Taylor
Swift swag surfing?
Javier (05:27):
Oh, what the hell Taylor
Swift.
Thing.
Kevin Tyrone (05:30):
Oh yeah, oh no.
So while you guys are onYouTube, go check out Taylor
Swift swag surfing After theshow.
Chad (05:36):
Leave right now.
It's awful.
Kevin Tyrone (05:37):
I was doing it.
Oh my gosh.
Go, come back, put it in thechat.
Javier (05:42):
Watch it, regret it all
the way through, but I think
that was the first time I metyou.
I don't remember much aboutthat after party, but yeah, I
remember meeting you because wewere about to leave and y'all
were just sitting down.
Chad (05:56):
That's a great story out
there.
I'm sorry this is gettingbetter, I feel.
Javier (06:00):
Yeah that's the story of
my life.
I feel like every time they'relike oh, tell me the story and I
tell them they're like.
Why'd you tell me?
Kevin Tyrone (06:05):
that story I wish.
Javier (06:06):
I didn't ask, unless I
wasted five minutes telling you
about how we met.
Hmm, okay, but I'm glad to havemet you.
It's really cool, you know.
Finally, again, I saw you againover there at the-.
Chad (06:15):
For those of you who don't
knowism that I got.
It's just.
You know, Kevin Turone is aphenomenal musician here in the
Fort Worth area.
He's got his recent EP fromlast year early this year
already, right From April Aprilokay.
And then you've already been onother people's songs.
(06:38):
You've got one with Lourecently right, which is awesome
, which I think y'all have beensitting on that one for a minute
right.
Kevin Tyrone (06:48):
Wasn right, which
is awesome, uh, which I think
y'all been sitting on, that onefor a minute, right, like,
wouldn't that one?
Chad (06:50):
yeah, in the hopper for a
long time holding on to that one
, but I mean it, the timing wasperfect.
On that one for sure.
Yeah, so for you know, was godbold at one point.
Kevin Tyrone (06:54):
Now, kevin, tell
us a little bit about yourself,
man yeah, so I am a vocalist yes, you are, and a writer, so, and
a storyteller, like in thegreatest sense.
Um, I tell people all the timelike music is just a hobby I
happen to be really great at.
Uh, so you know, I I lovesinging, I love performing.
(07:15):
I hate the, the build-up toeverything you know, like the
whole having to go through theexperiences to to make the good
music.
That sucks, but overall, likebeing able to tell really great
stories that you know have somepersonal touch to them is
beautiful man.
So, like you know, when itcomes to the EP that I just
dropped, it's called the AmnesiaEP and with with that one, it
(07:39):
was like I've been through somepretty crappy relationships and
I would say ninety nine point,99.99% of the time I'm the bad
guy and I know that's notsomething to gloat about, but it
makes for some hella stories.
Yeah, I'm just lucky enough tobe able to have the talent to
(07:59):
put pen to paper and then vocalsto track and make some real
magic.
Chad (08:04):
Is that what the amnesia
is all about?
It's just kind of that over andover again.
Kevin Tyrone (08:07):
So amnesia
literally is just um me wanting
to forget it all.
Okay, it's like I wish I hadamnesia.
So it's self-induced amnesia,right, I just want to forget
everything and sing it, get itout of my head and keep moving.
But that's not the way theworld works, right.
Javier (08:24):
Gotcha Nice Real quick
on Groot Chat.
Let's go Kev watching all theway from Florida.
Old Teezy Harris.
Kevin Tyrone (08:31):
Yo my guy Teezy.
Chad (08:32):
Hey, what's up?
Kevin Tyrone (08:32):
Half of Ty Famous.
What's up brother?
Chad (08:34):
Hey, oh, so you did a song
recently too, right yeah?
Kevin Tyrone (08:39):
with Ty Famous,
with my guy Teezy there and Yay
the Flamigo.
Javier (08:43):
That's the one that just
came out recently.
Kevin Tyrone (08:47):
Yep, they dropped
the tape as well and it is fire.
The track is on there.
I'm the only feature, so I'mproud of that.
Shout out to the guys forputting me on, but the song is
called Better as Stranger.
Chad (08:57):
It's a great one.
Go check that out.
I didn't realize there was twoguys there, but that makes more
sense now because I waslistening to it in the car and I
didn't actually get to see, like, who was featured, and so
it makes sense there's.
There's two of them.
Yep, okay, all right, yeah, itwas a great song.
Kevin Tyrone (09:09):
It's fire and I'm
glad that they uh, let me be
part of that.
I'm I'm really excited aboutthis feature run.
I've been on yeah, give me more.
It's nice to.
You know, like, when I go intoproject mode it's kind of dark.
So having to like really focusin and put myself in that space
mentally, and sometimesemotionally, from where I'm
(09:31):
writing from, is just like areally shitty season sometimes.
But the art is beautiful thatcomes out.
On the other end, being able todo features is just like I can
tap into it briefly, right andthen pop back out and I'm like,
okay, I'm Kevin, I'm good, youknow, and let it ride.
So it's nice to be able to dothings and flex and, you know
like, see other people's visionto fruition.
Chad (09:51):
So, yeah, so how does that
work with being on, you know,
being featured on someone's song?
Do they come to you with anidea, like it's already kind of
like half-baked, and they'relike, hey, this is kind of the
idea or concept, or they usuallyjust let you run with whatever
you want to do, to kind of goalong with it.
Kevin Tyrone (10:07):
It really depends
on who it is, Like these guys,
my top famous guys from Florida.
They're like hey, just do youon the track, there's an open
space here.
We had somebody that was tryingto give us ideas and it sucked.
So it's like we need to callKevin, like, do something here,
and so they just give me freereign and they trust that I'll
be able to bring an element tothe song that's just going to
(10:28):
make it pop even more.
Yeah, you know, usually peoplebring me great songs whenever
they want to feature and I justtry to not fuck it up, you know.
But yeah, so when it comes topeople like Lou 50 First Dates
Lou had the whole concept andeverything and he actually
wanted to give me the song.
He wanted it to be my songinitially and I was like, bro,
(10:50):
you don't need me to take overthis.
I'll sing the hook for youbecause you're my guy and I
think that's the only thingthat's going to really bring
anything to this song.
Because the song is great.
Like you sound great on it.
It seems personal, like it's afire, fire song.
Let me just sing the hook andI'll be a feature for you.
So yeah, that was it that'sawesome.
Chad (11:09):
That's awesome and it's
cool that you're able to have
those relationships already tokind of like build from that and
still like you had got your ownep, and then have these others
that you're working on too.
Kevin Tyrone (11:18):
Just uh, yeah, you
seem busy definitely busy,
pulled in a bunch of differentdirections, but I mean I love it
, man, I started.
I've been obviously singing mywhole life.
That's something you don't justlike randomly pick up but uh
been singing and writing since Iwas really young, like teenager
, and then uh decided that Ineeded to really pursue
(11:40):
something else because I wasjust, you know, in the hubbub of
daily life, you know, takingcare of my family and, um, uh,
working and providing and allthose things you're supposed to
do, and I just wasn't doinganything for myself.
So I took it, you know, took achance and was like, hey, I'm
gonna take this singing thingseriously and boom, covid.
So I didn't actually get toperform any of my stuff until
(12:02):
2021.
And that's when we met.
Because we met at tulips, because I had this show with uh
junior shouts out to my guy yeah, um, and the texas takeover.
We did that show and then wejust kind of like took off from
there, ended up doing south by,end up doing a whole bunch of
really cool things where I madesome solid connections, like
with here, fort worth and 517,with the library.
(12:24):
You guys like man, it's, it'sbeen a, it's been a cool ride
over these past couple years sowhat kind of stuff?
Javier (12:30):
like growing up you, you
said that you've been, you know
, listening to or writing.
Uh, since you were young, whatwere you listening to?
That like kind of inspired you,or like you know what would you
sing when you were in the car.
Kevin Tyrone (12:42):
Yeah, so I am a
big R&B head.
No way Right, go figure.
But also my favorite genre ofmusic is actually like 90s
grunge.
So I mean you can kind of hearit whenever I sing, like there's
some growl in there, there'ssome like dark stuff, there's
(13:03):
also like some nice runs thatare r&b style.
So when it comes to music likemy musical influences obviously
usher, like come on, it gets nobetter than that.
Um, the weekend is another oneof those.
That's just like.
They just make incredible art.
They can do so many really coolthings with their voices.
Um, I have some folks that likeI know personally, like some
family and friends that arereally talented vocalists and,
(13:25):
you know, listen to their stuffas well, but primarily like this
is going to sound super cocky, but I don't give a fuck, and
that's already cocky If I'm, ifI'm like in the car, like
listening to music nine timesout of 10, I'm listening to
myself or listening to aninstrumental, because I always
want to like perfect my craft orfall in love with my stuff
before I put it out to somebodyelse I was gonna ask uh also,
(13:48):
you bring that up.
Javier (13:49):
So do you pick the
instrumental first before you
start working on the lyrics, ordo you kind of build, like, do
you build the lyrics around that?
Kevin Tyrone (13:57):
a track.
So I had a really bad habit ofmaking my lyrics and my voice
fit a track.
So I would would find somethingon YouTube or I would find from
a beat store or something alongthose lines.
But I was really restrictingwhat I can do vocally by picking
a beat and trying to stay onthat beat and make it fit that
instead of letting it fit me.
And so when I actuallypartnered with the Trin folks
(14:19):
and Roan specifically engineeredMastermind, he's like, okay,
just sing it, sing over thisbeat, whatever it is, and then
he would just start craftinginstrumentals around my vocals
and the first time that he didthat was with my song Silent.
So that song Silent, literallyRone made that beat, but I had
(14:42):
done that song to a differentbeat before and he was like let
me just take the vocals and playwith it.
So now at this point I usuallydon't find instrumentals and try
to fit to it.
Yeah, they're custom for themost part.
Javier (14:54):
I do love feel it in the
air, though, that one, like you
know, thank you it reminds meof you know who did the.
Who did the first one?
Was it a phil collins?
Was that?
Was that phil collins in theair tonight?
Yeah, yeah, so phil, so philcollins.
And who did the first one?
Was it a Phil Collins?
Was that Phil Collins In theair tonight?
Kevin Tyrone (15:06):
yeah, so Phil
Collins, and then people sampled
it like crazy.
I want to say it was likeBeanie Siegel.
Tim (15:13):
Yeah, yeah, who sampled it
once?
I'm going to say I think thebest one was Mike Tyson.
Though that's after thehangover, right, yeah, well yeah
.
Kevin Tyrone (15:22):
So feeling in the
air man, right?
Well, yeah.
So feeling in the air man, it'sto explain the project as a
whole, the majority of it.
I'm actually talking to myself.
So I'm not talking aboutsomebody specifically.
I'm not talking to somebodyspecifically, I'm talking to
myself mostly.
So I'm really having thesereflective inner thoughts that
you just get to hear out loud, out loud.
(15:47):
Um so, feeling in the air isactually literally me talking
like the new, the new current metalking to the old me in that
battle between the two of who'sgoing to take over.
So that's what feeling the airis really about.
It can comes off as a doubleentendre where it sounds like
I'm singing to a lady.
You know about the ups anddowns, trials and tribulations
of our interaction, but I'mreally just singing to the the
old me I have to.
Chad (16:04):
Let's do it again with
that mindset, because I thought
it was to someone else, for sure.
Kevin Tyrone (16:08):
That's, and that's
the beauty of it, man.
It's art, it's subjective.
I love when people have theirown connotation of what I do
yeah, I I you know you mentionedthe weekend.
Chad (16:15):
I feel like my favorite
albums and I've talked about on
the show before of all time waslike house balloons early right,
whenever he was still just likedoing clubs in Toronto and shit
like that, really kind of likeI don't know, it's not.
I still like his music now, butit's a lot more poppy now,
right, like that old stuff, andI feel like your new EP is very
(16:36):
much that sound right and I lovethat I absolutely love it.
Kevin Tyrone (16:39):
Alternative R&B
yeah, yeah.
Chad (16:41):
Is that?
Is that the?
Is that the thing?
Yeah, ok, well, now I know.
Kevin Tyrone (16:44):
Absolutely
Alternative R&B.
That's really the vein thatI've been trying to like press
into, you know I it's beenchallenging but also really
rewarding and it's also been, you know, some of the best music
, in my opinion, that I put out.
Like you know, I had some somegood songs under under the
Gobble Gobble music label, butwhen I switched over and changed
my mindset after rebranding toKevin Terone, it was really
(17:07):
being authentically me, open,transparent.
This is the music that came outof it.
Yeah, you know, and so it'sjust.
I want to incorporate that edge, I want to say what's on my
chest.
I want to, you know, make asong called Bitches, love,
social and sing it and be likedo something about it.
You know so that this has beenlike the greatest season of
(17:28):
music for me, man.
Tim (17:29):
Hell yeah, you spoke on 90s
grunge and that's a favorite
genre of myself, so what's someartists that influence you from
that side of things?
Kevin Tyrone (17:38):
So huge Dave Grohl
fan man.
So whether it been like himjust drumming his ass off in
Nirvana or you know, know, whenhe took the reins and did the
whole food fighters thing, likethat was dope.
Uh, nine inch nails fan, I loveum uh, true, resnars.
Tim (17:52):
Oh, he's a brilliant mind.
I mean spanning from everythingfrom like that that techno
grunge kind of crossover to.
Kevin Tyrone (17:59):
I mean making
full-on scores for movies and I
feel like that dude could havesang r&b, and it would have been
crazy too.
Tim (18:03):
Oh yeah, for sure, have you
seen his early I'm talking
pre-Nine Inch Nails.
Kevin Tyrone (18:08):
No.
Tim (18:08):
He was in a new wave pop
band.
Kevin Tyrone (18:12):
I wouldn't put it
past him by any means.
Tim (18:14):
Yeah, it's wild, you watch
it and you're just like, and you
can hear it, you can catch, butit's like this is not.
Yeah, it's not Nine Inch Nails.
I got really like.
That's always been my favorite.
But talking about, like DaveGrohl, he's talked about some of
his beats and his influences, right, and his influence was
like freaking, you know 70sdisco.
Javier (18:36):
Like yeah man.
Chad (18:37):
Yeah.
Tim (18:39):
And now that I go back and
listen to like some of his drum
beats and stuff, I'm like holycrap.
This is straight up disco ongrunge.
Kevin Tyrone (18:46):
Yeah, yeah, it's
crazy.
It's crazy how universal musicactually is.
You know, yeah, we're reallygenre-less if we think about it.
It's just people want to put alabel on everything so bad to
make it palatable for them 100%.
Javier (18:58):
Oh God, yeah, that's
100% on point Music and
non-music just in general in ourlives.
Chad (19:04):
it's got to be like a
label and I like that.
That's beautiful, that it's not.
Kevin Tyrone (19:09):
Right.
I just want to make good music, man.
I just want to create art andhave people you know have it be
applicable to somebody.
I've said this since I startedmaking music and taking it
serious I want to be part ofmaking someone's favorite song.
Making music and taking itserious, I want to be part of
making someone's favorite song.
So whether it's my song, arecord, I'm a part of something
I wrote, something I helpedcompose.
(19:30):
It doesn't matter.
Like, just I want to putbeautiful art out there that
people really like can vibe with.
Chad (19:35):
You know, yeah, for sure
so I haven't seen you perform in
a while.
When's the last time youperformed?
Man like live march, march.
Kevin Tyrone (19:44):
Yeah, in march we
had a in-studio performance.
Uh, for ernie okay, yeah, itwas a lot of live recording for
ernie and myself, um, chandler, cooper, um and junior.
Actually we were all part ofthat bill and we got some nice
footage out of that and it waswas a real intimate setting at
the Trend Studios.
(20:05):
We just had some seating andstuff and it was a vibe man.
It was so cool and it was goodto be able to perform Kevin
Terone music in front of otherpeople.
Chad (20:18):
And then since then, Was
that the first time after going
from God Bold music to that?
Yeah, that was it.
Okay nice, that was the firsttime after, like the going from
God bold music to that.
Kevin Tyrone (20:26):
Yeah, that was it.
Okay, no, that was that was thefirst time, so that was.
That was different.
Man Like cause, even my stageshow, stage presence, energy,
everything like that, like Ihave to.
I have to really hone in on it,cause you know, when I did God
both music me set the mood, so Ihad my candles and my house
plants and fucking couch onstage you know like it was.
(20:46):
It was, that was the vibe, because that was the the vibe
that I was trying to bring.
Now it's really like I justwant you to hear me and feel me.
I want to convey my emotionthrough the microphone.
So just trying to stand thereand command the stage, nice love
it when?
when are you performing next?
That's a great question, skylar.
When am I performing next?
I'm sure there's some thingscoming.
(21:07):
Honestly, like I've, uh I'vebeen in talks with with some
folks I like out here and thenalso in Dallas, uh, I want to,
you know, do some things outsideof this city and I know there's
some talks of that, got someconnections in some some other
close Texas cities that you knowmums the word on that, but
hopefully this this summer dosome, some, uh, weekend ragers.
(21:29):
Apparently I'm getting wordthat july is the next time that
you will see me on stage, nicethere it is so, so july, which
should coincide with, uh,hopefully the next single very
cool.
Chad (21:41):
So yeah, tell us about
that.
What's new music coming out?
Kevin Tyrone (21:43):
Yeah, so to throw
people into a tailspin, you know
how they have on Instagram, where they have the little white
cube thing and it says likeartists, leak your song.
oreye emojis, number of messagesand likes and comments and all
(22:07):
stuff that I got from that.
I can already tell you thereception is gonna be wild and I
don't want to say too much.
I'll talk to you guysafterwards about it.
But I want you guys to beincluded in that rollout because
the song is actually a veryup-tempo like actually almost
poppy song.
But it's about that night thatwe went to that weird ass
(22:31):
cyberpunk show.
Do you remember that?
Oh man so it's it's about thatnight, because it was the night
that I actually met somebodythere yeah, and um, and it went
terribly.
when I met her it was fuckingawful.
Like awful long story short.
Like she basically like ranaway from me because, like I was
(22:55):
trying to, like you know, approach her and wanted to, you
know, like, like I had seen herbefore but I also seen her that
night and so I wanted toapproach and like introduce
myself and whatever, becauseit's fucking hot.
And then, let's be real, so theway that I did it was just like
, in hindsight, was so was soawkward, because we were outside
in the parking lot and it's,like you know, over there at Old
(23:17):
Mass, which, like you know, that it's dark in that parking
lot, oh yeah, for sure.
So she was like hey, don't everapproach anybody in a dark
parking, like a parking lot, like that, ever again.
But uh, yeah, that was a awhole thing in itself, but
anyway.
So it was about like that nightinside seeing her there and, um
, okay, wanting to like hollerat her long story short yeah but
(23:40):
we were all there yeah andbecause we were there, I'm like
man, how dope would that be tohave you guys included into that
vibe.
Chad (23:47):
That's wild To recreate
that.
Kevin Tyrone (23:49):
So stay tuned,
because-.
Chad (23:50):
Yeah, for sure.
Kevin Tyrone (23:51):
Kevin's Rome
featuring the Funky Panther.
Javier (23:54):
It sounds pretty
hilarious.
But that was a-, because howmany cyberpunk shows did they
have?
Chad (23:59):
I don't know.
I remember that one.
I remember that one.
I remember that one and I know,uh, lou was there and I was
drinking a little heavy and Iwas just talking way more shit
than I probably should have.
I should have just been likeaccepting and just enjoying.
Kevin Tyrone (24:11):
No fuck that we
were so confused like we were so
confused by what we were seeingon stage I swear like I looked
at chad.
Chad looked at me and he waslike dude, what is this?
I don't know.
Those are some of the bestnights though I have.
No, this is but right.
But we were drinking and havinga good time.
It was like good energy and youcould just tell that we were
like the old dudes in the roomthat had no idea what we were
watching in front of us, and sothat made for a hilarious story.
Tim (24:35):
Yeah, okay.
Little did you know, but youjust set me up for a great segue
.
Uh-oh, all right, so talk aboutthings that you not expect to
see.
Right, have you heard?
Javier (24:46):
of A grown naked man.
Tim (24:48):
Have you heard of the World
Freak Fight League?
No, so it's this MMA leaguethat they.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
This is your segue,
yeah, yeah.
So talk about weird.
Tim (24:58):
Weird shit, man, so talk
about weird shit.
It's an MMA league where theywill do these weird exhibition
fights, right?
So they put up former strongmanof the world, Eddie Hall,
against two TikTok stars thesebrothers.
Kevin Tyrone (25:16):
Have you seen the
video?
I saw the clip of them facingoff and pushing each other.
I didn't know that that was areal thing.
Oh no, it's a real thing, Allright.
Tim (25:22):
Eddie Hall is like.
Javier (25:24):
Former world's strongest
man.
Tim (25:26):
Yeah, the mountain from
Game of Thrones.
Oh yeah, not the same guy, butThor, they're the same size.
Okay, these two guys are thesame size.
In fact, thor and Eddie Hallhave fought each other in boxing
.
They pit this guy up againsttwo TikTok guys, the Fetty
brothers.
The Fetty brothers there's twoPolish kids and had their debut
(25:46):
and I'm going to tell you likethat guy is massive Dude.
Chad (25:48):
He is massive.
Look at this dude Compared tothe other two.
Tim (25:52):
This guy is huge, right,
and so for the first like two
rounds they were just runningaround.
They would kind of like it waslike it's like you go up to like
your big brother and you likepoke him a little bit.
That's what it was like.
They were trying to poke thebear a little bit, get him going
.
Whenever.
I tell you that was one of themost brutal takedowns I've ever
watched.
He suplexes one of them andthen hits another one and then
(26:18):
the guy that got suplexed comesup and he just like bops him on
the head and lights out andthat's it.
It was a 2v1.
And I've seen more of thesefights coming most like it was a
2v1.
And I've seen more of thesefights coming up.
Where these, these 2v1 fights,I saw one.
This guy was like dressed inlike old school, like he looked
like an old school boxer.
He's that white button-up shirt, had like suspenders on
(26:39):
mustache beard and just I meangoing to town on.
Like they got guys, two guyscoming.
I was like old school barfights.
I want to go and watch one ofthose in real life okay.
Chad (26:50):
So let me ask let's go
around the table and see who
would your 2v1 be sorry with youjavier like 2v1 if you could
see anyone fight 2v1?
Who would the 2v1 be?
Javier (27:01):
uh, it'd be cain
velasquez versus those two
fucking island boys.
Kevin Tyrone (27:06):
oh yeah, yeah,
fuck those guys Bro, I fucking
hate those motherfuckers man.
Javier (27:10):
I've never or it'd be
one of them.
Island boys and that JackDoherty kid who always has that
big motherfucking bodyguard withhim so he fucks around with
people and his bodyguard.
He's there, right.
I'd like to see them getfucking put up against the wall
and jailhouse shit.
Chad (27:30):
Yeah, that's a good one.
That's a good one They'd gettore up.
Those kids are so dumb.
Those island boys are Bro.
They kiss each other for money.
I saw something recently thatone of the guys threw his
brother under the bus.
And he went to jail for theother brother.
Javier (27:48):
I don't know what
happened look, I say this we've
had a conversation and we can'treally talk about it because you
know, but for like a hundredthousand dollars, oh yeah yeah,
yeah, you know, would you like asong for like a hundred
thousand dollars and uh, we'relike you know what, you know
what it's on a grand.
So I gotta pay bills, you know.
Clear my credit up, whatever, but break.
Chad (28:07):
But Break it down to 1,000
.
Still going to be a yes, those.
Javier (28:11):
Island boys, bro.
Yeah, yeah, I'd love to seethem get fucked up.
I'd love to see them get fuckedup.
Chad (28:16):
All right, Kevin 2v1.
Who's your go?
Kevin Tyrone (28:20):
Somebody huge
against the fucking Paul
brothers.
Tim (28:25):
Oh.
Kevin Tyrone (28:26):
You stole my two.
I just want to see those dudesget wrecked.
I actually want to see themfight each other.
Supposedly that was going to bethe replacement for Mike Tyson.
Was going to be Logan, and Iwant to see that.
Chad (28:35):
It's not now, though.
They announced it, I thinktoday or yesterday, november.
They just re-spawned.
Well, that one moved, but Ithink it's an MMA guy.
Oh, really yeah.
Kevin Tyrone (28:46):
I didn't see that.
No, I'm a big combat sports fan.
Yeah, been training for decadesnow.
Chad (28:53):
Really, yeah, like what,
what's your Mixed martial or-.
Kevin Tyrone (28:57):
Kickboxing, boxing
, Boxing is actually my
specialty.
I actually train boxing too.
Javier (29:01):
All right, I train other
people.
Kevin Tyrone (29:09):
So minicon then.
So that way you know, yeah geton one of them, cards first of
all minicon.
We got to do a track.
Let's start there, and thensecondly, which is a lot closer
than what we could.
You know, we could probablyreally figure that shit out I
don't know, it was just here.
Chad (29:17):
He was in the studio not
too long ago, right he was just
here.
Kevin Tyrone (29:19):
So yeah, minicon,
we need to tap in brother.
Hey, you know what?
Javier (29:23):
also.
We got to get up with that too, because uh said that he was
going to hook us up with a.
Tim (29:29):
Oh yeah, Yep, yep.
Do we need to talk about that?
Javier (29:32):
The porn star yeah.
Tim (29:33):
You know what Not that
Actually put.
Kevin Tyrone (29:36):
Minicon against
the Paul brothers.
There you go, that one.
That's the wave.
Chad (29:42):
Those guys are pretty
decent, I mean as well.
Logan not even know, I knowMinicon's great, but like he's a
big dude.
Kevin Tyrone (29:49):
He is a big dude,
he's a big motherfucker.
I could see it.
Tim (29:54):
I mean, I didn't realize
how big Minicon was until he
walked into the house and I waslike that's a big dude man, he's
tall, he's a big dude.
No, I want to see like I'msitting here thinking like the
Paul brothers would be just funto watch get smacked around.
Right, the Paul brothers versusa bear.
Javier (30:13):
There it is, I think
that's good, right, I think
that's good Like a bear, like areal bear, like an actual bear,
oh, okay, okay, I thought youmeant, like you know, the other
kind of bear they used to.
Tim (30:20):
You know they used to do
that they had those like
exhibition fights where, likedude would go in there and fight
a bear yeah, I think that waslike a legit old school, like
yeah, but I think that's somedumb shit that the paul brothers
would be involved in yeah um, Idon't know, man.
Uh, shack's a little old now,but it'd be cool to see shack
just like way versus kevin hart.
Chad (30:39):
He's old but it wouldn't
take much for him to put someone
down.
Tim (30:41):
You know like you just pick
like two.
Uh, small, like small mma guysyeah, just you know we're
talking like featherweight guysand just watch him just wreak
you know havoc on them orwhatever.
Kevin Tyrone (30:52):
Yeah, remember
when he fought Shane Mosley.
No.
He actually like got down on hisknees to like fight him too.
Jeez, you don't remember thatShaq fought Sugar Shane Mosley?
No, no, it was a long time ago,but those two fought Like back
when Shaq was like Superman Shaq.
Tim (31:06):
Yeah, but I'm sitting here
thinking like, even like, at
that right he's on his kneesfighting Dude, that reach has
got to be insane.
Javier (31:13):
I mean it had to be an
exhibition though, right, I mean
against Sugar Shane, definitely.
Kevin Tyrone (31:16):
I mean because,
like, sugar Shane was still the
guy at that time too, and yeah, him and Shaq, him and Shaq
fought damn.
Chad (31:26):
I gotta go find that's
wild, that's crazy how about you
, chad?
Javier (31:29):
who's your?
Who's your?
Two of you, one?
Chad (31:32):
uh, I'm gonna go.
I'm gonna go a little politicalin this one though no one else
did, but I feel like I wouldlike to see Trump and Biden
together oh, fighting one guyfighting the rock winner takes
the presidency like that's whatI want to see.
Javier (31:47):
That's just brian's
gonna die in there.
They're both gonna die.
Chad (31:51):
Yeah, come on, I mean
you're.
You're basically just sayingrock, you want to be president,
but I'd still want to see ithappen like that would be,
insane.
Like they can't fight eachother.
Like what do you do?
Tim (31:59):
talk shit to each other, or
I mean that was just gonna be a
verbal thing until I think you,I think you like uh, scale it
up a little bit and you givethem some sort of melee weapon
too, because I think the rockcould still take both 100 you
see, biden's got a mace outthere, and you know but I want
to see that in a cage dude, butI can't lift a mace, I mean he's
(32:19):
got a mace.
He's just like dragging itbehind.
Javier (32:21):
He's got like an ice
cream sandwich and pulls out of
his pockets already melted andthrows it and that's what I want
to see that's my TV one Trump'slooking at the fence they built
and they're like man.
Tim (32:29):
this is great.
Javier (32:30):
Bro, one of them fights
that you're talking about.
It was a man versus two women.
Tim (32:37):
That was also one of those
fights.
Yeah, a man versus two women.
There's no way, I think theywere fucking them up too, right?
Javier (32:43):
Yeah, I think they were
fucking them up.
I think we're fucking.
I'm here for this fight league.
Tim (32:46):
I think, like I love like
all the weird, like 2v1s, I've
always said they need to have ajuiced sports league.
Kevin Tyrone (32:52):
Yeah.
Tim (32:53):
Like you, straight up,
bring baseball, corked bats and
on steroids.
Chad (32:58):
Have a good time.
Dude, honestly, you could starta 2v1 league and make that
actually a thing.
You probably get bought out bythe MMA, by, you know, five
years from now.
Tim (33:06):
I mean that's what the
world of freak fights or
whatever is done.
Chad (33:09):
Oh, so that's a whole
other thing, that's a whole
thing.
Tim (33:11):
Yeah, oh, I didn't realize
I'm talking like you, go
straight up like juiced Olympics.
Kevin Tyrone (33:17):
There's a movie on
Netflix that's called like
Bionic or something like that, and that's basically what it is,
so like there's a wholeseparate like league where folks
have like bionic arms or legsor whatever and they're like
long jumpers or track stars.
Chad (33:30):
Dude that's bullshit.
I'm here for it.
I can just see like a javelinjust like being launched into
space, literally.
Kevin Tyrone (33:36):
Like this fucking
bionic arm.
We've got a bunch of cyborgsout here running around man.
That's what the movie is.
I'm telling you like.
Javier (33:43):
I'm here for it.
Tim (33:45):
The time is now.
We got AI taking over Might aswell.
Make these crazy things.
Javier (33:49):
Allen Iverson yeah.
Chad (33:51):
I'm talking like oh man
he's got a mean crossover, that
one you can make AI come up withthe fights.
You get 100 people that arejust down and then you have AI
just throw out the wildestthings and they've got to do it.
Tim (34:07):
I want to see, maybe like
Luca and Kyrie versus Kristoff,
like, uh uh, luca and kairiversus uh kristoff just.
Javier (34:10):
Oh, that's let them, bro
.
He's got bad ankles and he's Iknow, torn fucking whatever, so
it'd be.
Tim (34:14):
Yeah, watch it, watch that
boy, that boy leaking all over
the floor I'm still blown awaylike that.
Uh, right before they, it'sright before they are.
When they won the westernconference final luca should
have got a technical foul.
Javier (34:27):
For what?
Tim (34:32):
He flat out looks at the
kid in the stands and said who's
fucking crying?
Javier (34:34):
now.
Who's crying now, motherfucker,I think it was an older man.
Tim (34:41):
I originally thought he
said it to Snoop.
Javier (34:43):
I was like oh, oh, I
thought so too.
Oh yeah, that's right.
I remember that.
I think it was with Bishop donmagic one.
Tim (34:50):
I feel like not good, don't
do that.
Chad (34:51):
The snoop no you know, a
second ago we were talking about
ai.
Uh, this week, apple, you know, they announced their wwdc this
year, whatever and a lot of itwas about ai.
Y'all see that thing about elonmusk.
Dude, it's wild man what aboutno?
So apparently the new ios isgoing to have a lot of AI.
They call it Apple intelligence.
Well, done.
Yeah, exactly, but basicallylike Apple intelligence seems
(35:13):
like it's mostly powered by chatGPT and so a lot of things like
chat GPT is going to be fullyincorporated into your phone,
Like it's going to like be ableto I think that'll be a good
personal assistant likebasically take over Siri.
Going to like be able to, Ithink that it'll be a good
personal assistant, likebasically take over Siri.
But Elon's got this like thoughtof like yeah but I already have
fears that you know AI is goingto take over the world.
(35:33):
So now you're in infiltratingpeople's phones.
And so he just went out on on X, tik TOK, whatever, or not Tik
TOK uh Twitter, um, and he saidif any like, if chat GPT is
going to be included in applephones, I will not allow any of
my employees to have applephones in any of my facilities.
Also, if you're visiting any ofmy facilities, you got to put
(35:54):
your phone in a faraday cage orsomething like that.
Tim (35:56):
Like he is, we will not
have iphones if there's going to
be chat gpt integration is uh,yeah, I mean because he's, he's,
he's terrified about likespying and because that's the
whole thing, like you havecorporate ai and stuff, um, so
like co-pilot.
If I log on to microsoftco-pilot it's very different
because it's not fullyintegrated into like what it can
(36:18):
see on my computer right rightright, right because of who I
work with and network wise, butthen, like your personal is very
different.
So that's the whole same samething with this, like it's gonna
be.
I mean, you're talking abouttargeted at like more so than
what it already is.
Chad (36:32):
It can get wild like.
It sounds just like everythingright.
It sounds like it'll be reallynice at first, but the like
what's to come in two to threeyears is gonna probably be wild
tesla's over here.
Tim (36:42):
Fucking up though have you,
I mean with the cyber truck, is
probably the biggest debaclethey've they've hit yet I mean
dude I.
Chad (36:51):
So when I was in florida a
week or two ago, I saw nothing
but cyber trucks.
I saw purple cyber trucks, orange cyber trucks, all blacked
out flat blacks.
That one actually looked prettynice cyber trucks florida got
their cyber trucks.
Tim (37:02):
Uh, texas and california
got the allocations primarily,
and then they're slowlyallocating them out.
Right, but they're alreadyrusting yeah, that's crazy.
Um, they had the, theaccelerator pedal, the, the
thing stuck like.
The thing slid off the pedalwhen we get stuck.
Um, they've had all these crazythings.
(37:22):
The the founders edition issupposed to come with full
self-driving.
Chad (37:26):
None of them have full
self-driving yet I it'll just be
an update whenever they figureit out.
Tim (37:30):
It's going to be an update.
So all this stuff Like HertzRental is now selling off all
like they're selling off.
Javier (37:35):
Well, they're selling
their three.
Tim (37:37):
They're selling all their
Tesla Model 3s.
Chad (37:42):
They're getting rid of
them.
25 grand a piece, that's notbad.
That's not bad at all.
Tim (37:45):
I, you get a base Tesla
Model 3 with like 30,000 miles
on it for like 25,000.
Chad (37:51):
That's nothing.
I could take that to work andnot have to worry about gas.
Yeah.
Javier (38:10):
So on the chat of AI and
chat.
Chad (38:12):
GPT.
Do you feel like with musicit's?
Kevin Tyrone (38:12):
going to be a time
where you're going to be like,
hey, make me this instrumentalwith this the way it sounds like
genuine, that that'll go withmy, my lyrics.
He does, but it's roan, roangpt.
No, but, and to answer yourquestion, absolutely I have
spoken to that with otherartists before.
Like, I use it in the workplaceon a regular basis.
Yeah, same same yeah me too, youknow, so I already know that
the like major labels and allthat stuff are probably already
(38:35):
actively using it.
Whether it's like hey, write methis song or make me an
instrumental or maybe somemarketing information, or give
me this picture with an idealike this, like any of that
stuff, that shit's already goingon.
We just don't necessarily knowabout it because you know like
they want to keep the ideas tothemselves, so but I like that
(38:55):
you know things are making it towhere you have to say like
generate it with ai yes, instagram is doing yeah have you
heard about the latest thingwith adobe?
Tim (39:04):
so it goes into the whole
ai thing as well.
So adobe just released a coupleof things.
Adobe's fucked up.
So Adobe has now come out andsaid if you have any of their
legacy products that you paidfor and you haven't updated,
they're going to sue you.
They have the right to sue youfor not updating your stuff and
going to their what Basicallytheir subscription model.
Chad (39:27):
Okay, which you purchased.
You already purchased.
Kevin Tyrone (39:30):
Oh, you're talking
about like you purchased it
just like right out of theproduct you bought.
Tim (39:33):
Photoshop and all that
stuff, right?
So you've had that.
You've never upgraded it,you've just left it at that.
You bought this program and itstill works.
Yeah, so they're going to comeout and sue you, or they have
the right to sue you.
So that's number one.
That's sue you, or they havethe right to sue you.
(39:58):
So that's number one.
That's crazy.
Number two their new terms andconditions allow them to have
full access to your creativecloud in order to and and have
full, um, uh, rights toeverything in there to use to
make their ai stuff, go figure, that's that.
Kevin Tyrone (40:05):
That's not
surprising, right?
So now can you?
Tim (40:07):
imagine, like, maybe you
work for like Ford and you're
working on a new ad campaign fora new vehicle or whatever, and
now somebody's got that wholeand they, the AI, can access it
and they can In part of termsthey can also sell it, I'm sure
Right.
Kevin Tyrone (40:20):
So then, it gets.
Tim (40:21):
It gets leaked Right,
because now you got more eyes
being able to get involved inthere.
But the whole the whole fear isthat they're going to take
artists right so musicians, videographers, things like that
and look at what their workflowsare and how they do all their
stuff.
Create AI to basically do that,to where your job as a creative
(40:41):
or marketing you're actuallydoing.
Javier (40:45):
whatever Companies won't
have to have that, they'll be
able to just get adobe softwareand plug in basically what they
want and just do it.
Hey, man, it's them.
It starts with that and then itworks its way on everything
else, like it works its way onwhat do you use?
Like, uh, fruit loops andnobody uses fruit loops anymore,
or whatever I wasn't gonna sayyou know, they'll just get into
(41:09):
your like software or whateveryou're trying to create and
they're like oh well, you knowwhat?
we're gonna take this littlepiece right here we're not gonna
tell you you know, you're notgonna know, so it's, it's coming
yeah, I mean we're in that timenow.
Same goes for actors too.
Tim (41:25):
It's fucking wild and I
mean like so you've got?
I mean we start looking at um.
Was it?
Boston robotics has got those.
Like basically, you know, Irobot things and all that yeah,
and then you throw in like somesort of self-learning machine
vision, ai stuff in there andnext thing, we know we're living
in.
You know I robot.
I mean that it's a.
(41:47):
You'll talk shit about elon allyou want, right, elon might be
onto something yeah, I mean tosome.
Chad (41:55):
Yeah, I think that he goes
a little bit overboard because
he's just as involved in the aigame as everyone else.
So I feel like he goes a littleoverboard.
But yeah, he's not wrong, he'snot wrong.
Tim (42:04):
I did see that, um, there
was someone who had the neuro
link um implanted, like not elon, not associated with that.
He uh has paralysis andcouldn't do whatever and um,
that's shit's crazy.
Yeah, like he's sitting theremoving the cursor and they're
showing it and he's like, so areyou, is it tracking?
Or he's like, no, I'm thinkingabout where I'm this is the elon
(42:25):
thing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah but thisguy's like straight up like one
of the first subjects to get itactually put in, and he's like
thinking where the cursor isgoing and it's going there.
It's fucking wild man.
Kevin Tyrone (42:36):
There's a movie
that can associate with, like
all of those things, like whenyou were talking about the new
orling thing upgrade, upgrades.
Another oh, yeah, yeah like, literally, it's the same, the
same concept.
So, like being a movie buff, Iwholeheartedly believe that all
of that shit literally comesfrom somewhere, either like
somebody's actively working onit, or they experienced it, or
anything along those lines.
(42:56):
You don't have to tell me it'sbased on a true story I believe,
all of that, yeah, you know.
So, yeah, one 100, like hearingthat that's a real thing.
Upgrade is a real thing.
Yeah, I it.
We're living in those timesthat you know.
In the movies we would see itbe like not too distant future.
It'd be like 2035 or somethinglike that in a Terminator.
You're right, but 10 years outI was like but no shit, though.
(43:18):
Like, yeah, that's, that's thewave, like all these things.
They're slowly like showing usthese things, showing us these
things, but all this shit'sprobably decades.
It's been going on for decades.
Javier (43:30):
Dude, that movie In Time
where they keep you at 25, and
then they give you a year Afteryou turn 25, then you have a
year Justin Timberlake.
Chad (43:39):
Yeah, same shit, I need to
watch that one again too.
Javier (43:41):
Bro, that's surprisingly
a good fucking movie.
Yeah, the concept is reallycool yeah but I think it's kind
of going to be leaning towardsthat.
Kevin Tyrone (43:49):
So I mean, right
like time was the currency
that's crazy work like there, your fucking clock was on your
arm on your arm or whatever, yeah, no that, yes, all of that
shit is real.
Paying for groceries byliterally just like scanning the
fucking microchip in you orsomething yeah, that shit's a
real thing coming to look atthis.
Chad (44:05):
This the first thing.
Javier (44:06):
This is the.
It's that thing.
You're like, oh, you scan yourwatch and you put your fucking
shit.
Oh, it's convenient, like that, scan me, it's going to be built
in soon, yep.
Chad (44:16):
I mean, it wasn't Whole
Foods like Amazon Whole Foods.
They were doing just like youput your hand on it or something
like they still do that.
Yeah, yeah, you can pay withpoem wow, that's fucking crazy
man, but man that's man, we saidwe did some tangents here at
the end so I did have a question.
Talking about roan going backto the music real quick before
we go ahead and finish this out,did he help you with the the?
Kevin Tyrone (44:38):
newest ep.
Yeah, so roan was actually avery, uh, very important piece
of that.
It was really primarily just heand I.
Chad (44:46):
Okay.
Kevin Tyrone (44:46):
So I had ideas.
He challenged me to you know,do those in a fashion I've never
done them before.
Yeah, challenged me to stretchvocally.
You know you hear on the recordlike there's like some real
like deep like yells, like inamnesia and charades, like those
things are not things you heardwhen I was gobb music, right,
(45:09):
it was real melodic.
At that point this stuff isreally just like me, like
expressing and like beingvulnerable, even if shit doesn't
come out sounding beautiful, like it's just the real deal.
So roan has always been that guy.
That's like hey, like all right, that was cool, let's do 17
more takes until it's fuckingperfect.
And I need that because, likeas a singer, you know most
(45:31):
people, if you can sing, they'rejust like amazed that you can
sing, even if it's just a littlebit, like I can actually
fucking sing.
And so rome's like all right, cool, if that's the case, go do
it.
Like I want you to sing, I wantyou to sing like you've never
sang before.
And then, after we've done 10takes, you're going to give me
the 11 take and that's the onethat we're using.
And so, yeah, man, so he was avery important piece of that and
(45:54):
, like I have never worked withanybody who has challenged me
but also was receptive toanything that I any of my ideas
that I gave out, you know so.
Javier (46:05):
Shout out to my guy Do
you believe in tough love versus
like trying to be like easywith an artist, like telling
them what they need to hear?
Not telling them what they needto hear, but telling them what
the truth is?
Kevin Tyrone (46:18):
Absolutely.
Do you believe in thatAbsolutely?
Another piece of thatinteraction with Roan is he's
like all right, man, do you wantto make music for you or do you
want to make music for, for anaudience?
Do you want to make music thatpeople are actually going to
listen to, or you want to justhave your buddies listen to your
music and like it?
You know, and so for me thatwas that was a huge thing,
because I would tend tooverthink.
As a creative, I would tend tooverthink the stories that I was
(46:41):
telling or the way that I wouldsing something or you know,
trying to do extra runs oranything like that on the track
to make it like really pop.
And he's like bro, no, likeless is more like you got to
think about your target audience, and if your target audience is
people who don't know you, likeyou, can't you, you can't do
what you know.
That will only relate to peoplethat know you.
Javier (47:01):
You're going to isolate
yourself so, essentially, don't
don't be safe, don't be safewith what you're trying to put
out.
Kevin Tyrone (47:07):
You can't.
There's so much shit out therethat's really selling right now.
That is getting the attention,it's getting the eyes, it's
getting the money thateverybody's looking for when it
comes to this, the notorietythat folks are looking for and,
honestly, you can't play it safeanymore.
(47:27):
You can't play it safe anymore.
Know, you can't play it safeanymore.
You have to be unapologetic, like one of my things when it
comes to the music that I makenow is, you know, as raw as I am
in the music.
It's like you know you can'tthreaten me with like receipts
or whatever you know, because, like my toxic trait is I'll grab
a microphone and I'll just singthat shit.
You know, it's like I'm coolwith that.
(47:48):
You can, you can.
You can try to blast me all youwant to.
I know what I've done.
I will be very transparentabout what I've done in good,
bad and in in between in thisworld and I'll fucking sing it
on a track and and be proud ofit.
You know Um story.
It's, it's, it's my life.
These are my stories.
These are literal things thatI've actually experienced myself
very unapologetic.
Chad (48:08):
Oh, absolutely, you gotta
have that mindset.
Absolutely so, yeah, man,that's awesome.
Well, thanks for finally comingon the show, man.
This has been a fun, fun asstime.
Kevin Tyrone (48:17):
Hell, yeah, we
appreciate you I'm glad I got to
do this, bro.
Y'all y'all are my guys, man,we've hung out plenty of times,
but being able to hang out inthis setting and see you guys do
what you do has been great.
Man, like you guys are, youguys are dope man like it ain't
over big things coming up soonalso so
you've got the single coming outin a month yeah, and then some
uh shows that are going alongwith that.
(48:38):
Um, yeah, stay tuned to to the,to the instagram and where can
people find?
You uh at kevin tarone music umand kevin tarone music on all
the streaming services, all theplatforms.
I'm on TikTok, even though Ifucking hate social media, yuck.
But man, like you need it, yougot to do it.
Yeah, it's important.
(48:59):
So KevinTaroneMusic and atKevinTaroneMusic on all the
streaming services.
Tim (49:02):
I feel like we need to chat
just a little bit longer,
because I'm going to dosomething.
Really, I'm doing something onthe fly right now.
Kevin Tyrone (49:08):
Okay, let's get it
.
Tim (49:09):
So I am working on doing an
AI song right now as we speak.
Kevin Tyrone (49:15):
So y'all just keep
chatting, I've got.
Tim (49:18):
I'm going to throw a few
things in here and it's going to
be about you.
Let's go.
Chad (49:23):
So he's been doing this a
little bit recently, but never
on the fly.
So he's been doing this alittle bit recently, but never
on the fly, so he foundsomething out there.
Freestyle AI.
Is that what it is?
Kevin Tyrone (49:30):
No, no, no, I'm
just saying he's freestyling AI
right now.
Chad (49:33):
I was like there's some
app that he uses, some web site
that he can plug in stuff andput in what kind of sound, what
lyrics, or at least a generalidea, concept, and it'll spit
out an entire three to fourminute song.
That's crazy.
And it'll spit out an entirelike three to four minute song.
That's crazy.
It's crazy.
And so the past.
We've had a few episodes wherehe'll like he had one about our,
our buddy, dustin massey, thatwas on not too long ago, um, you
(49:55):
had one about doc rock as well, because he came on the show, um
, but yeah, you haven't beendoing this for a while, and so
yeah, now you're just decidingto do it on the fly, since we've
got musician and talking aboutai, you better knock it out yeah
, I figured that would be thebest way, so I've already got.
Tim (50:10):
I've already got lyrics
written.
Okay, um, that was real easy.
I found an article, um from thefort worth weekly talking about
meaning god bold.
Um, sorry, I couldn't findanything with with your, uh,
your government name on there,so we're going with that's good
we're going with god bold, andso I'm going to go ahead and I'm
just doing a verse, chorus.
We'll do a verse, chorus verse.
Javier (50:31):
Real quick.
I want to say something that'sgoing on.
In the news that I just gotfrom the Huffington Post it said
the Four Tops singer the FourTops, you know the Four Tops is
suing a hospital for allegedlybeing put in a straitjacket
after he told staff he was inthe renowned Motown group.
So how fucked up is it thatyou're like with the four tops?
Kevin Tyrone (50:49):
You're like oh.
Javier (50:49):
I was with the four tops
and they're like that man's
crazy.
He's not with the four tops,Wow.
Chad (50:53):
Put on a straight jacket.
They still do straight jackets.
Kevin Tyrone (50:56):
I guess.
So yeah, that's also wild.
That's what I was thinking,Like those straight jackets.
Tim (51:00):
I don't think they still.
I'll tell you that.
Chad (51:04):
Is this a Never mind?
I'm not going to get into it.
We're not going to get into it,Okay so I'm almost done.
Tim (51:08):
Almost got it, almost got
it.
I've just got to do this littleoutro.
Kevin Tyrone (51:11):
Here it's wild
that you talk about that, though
, because have you seen, speaking to Elon Musk, that J
Cole went into a Tesla store?
Yes, oh man, that was you know, was literally bumming around and
(51:34):
so like the manager of thestore and then some other guy
trying to poke his chest out,was like basically shooing jay
cole, jay fucking cole, out ofthe tesla store and like had
security, that ended up likegoing after him too or whatever
to make sure that he was leaving.
But he's just literallycasually looking around at the
truck like that man had abackpack on and I guarantee you
probably had bread in thatbackpack to be able be able to
(51:57):
fucking cyber truck.
I'm just like bro, like that's,that's the crazy.
Where was?
Chad (52:02):
the craziest concept.
Kevin Tyrone (52:03):
I don't even
remember where it was what store
is this?
Where was it which makes?
it worse.
Tim (52:10):
You see, j Cole, you know
say yeah, I need a salad let me,
let me get a style of musicreal quick.
God bull.
What style of music do you wantthis song to be about?
It be in country hell yeah doyou want?
Like texas country grungecountry.
No, I want bro country likeyou're talking like florida
(52:32):
georgia line no, I'm talkinglike fucking um.
Kevin Tyrone (52:36):
What's his name?
Luke Bryan uh, jason Aldeanlike, give me, give me some of
those bro country guys popcountry.
Chad (52:43):
Right, wouldn't that be?
I don't know pop country.
Tim (52:45):
Okay, yeah, who.
Chad (52:47):
I mean, how many people
are working at Tesla store where
, like the odds are against himthat no one knows who J Cole is
when he walks into the store?
Kevin Tyrone (52:53):
you're New York
man well, so that's the thing,
though there was somebody thatwas there that was filming the
whole.
Thing who obviously knew who JCole was, but never once did
they put their phone down andsay hey, yo, that's J Cole.
He's a famous rapper andbasketball player and
philanthropist, like all thesethings Like, hey, you should
probably let that man look atthe truck, because you're going
just like everybody else picktheir phone up and just fucking
(53:15):
watch until some shit goes down.
Tim (53:16):
That's fucking wild.
So it's generating right now.
Javier (53:19):
He's probably like a
Drake fan or something like that
.
Crazy, so dumb.
Oh, speaking of which, whilehe's doing that, how do you feel
about that?
What do you think about thatthing they had going on, which
is over?
Kendrick won, do you?
Kevin Tyrone (53:32):
think Kendrick won
.
I think Kendrick washed him.
Yeah, legitimately washed Drake, which wasn't going to be a
hard task by any means.
Kendrick is such a lyricist,but he's also a thinker.
He is a thinking man's rapperfor sure.
It's funny J Cole bowed out ofthat competition because he knew
he was going to get slaughterednext.
He was like no bro, I'm notdoing this.
Javier (53:55):
He decided to keep the
peace.
That's why he was over theretrying to buy a Tesla.
He's like I'm just going to.
Tim (53:58):
All right, so we're going
to cue this up.
This is the first time any ofus are hearing this.
Let me get this going.
Kevin Tyrone (54:05):
I'm excited for
this.
Chad (54:07):
I don't.
Javier (54:08):
It's going to be really
good, or really bad, there's not
going to be anybody in betweenI said it was going to work.
Tim (54:15):
It's still, son of a bitch.
Chad (54:16):
You got all this buildup,
all this buildup.
Javier (54:20):
Just edging us.
Do you think the record labeltold Drake like oh?
Kevin Tyrone (54:23):
okay, All right,
here we go.
Oh shit, it's real.
Tim (54:25):
It's real.
Speaker 5 (54:30):
Out of Fort Worth
he's making his way.
Godbolt's voice is here to stay.
R&b and rap in his soul, livinghis dream, reaching his goal.
From Kansas City race to FortWorth.
(54:51):
Refined With music in his heart, he's one of a kind Breaking
barriers, sharing his gift, creating songs that give us a
lift.
Kevin Tyrone (55:06):
That was hilarious
, hang on.
Tim (55:08):
It's still got the bridge
to go up, and then it generates
two songs.
Speaker 5 (55:13):
So Boring his soul.
(55:41):
Page by page, it generates twosongs.
Tim (55:45):
All right.
So let's listen to the secondgeneration.
It always generates two songs.
Kevin Tyrone (55:52):
That's creepy.
Yes, yes, very creepy.
Tim (56:00):
So I just typed in pop
country style music.
It's got some LeBron sound.
Kevin Tyrone (56:10):
So, same lyrics.
Tim (56:11):
Same lyrics yeah, Okay.
Kevin Tyrone (56:13):
It sounds like
what's that guy?
Who's the judge on the Voice?
Javier (56:16):
Oh, kevin, or no, blake
Shelton.
Tim (56:21):
It's very Blake Shelton-ish
I mean.
Chad (56:30):
You know it's fake.
Though he didn't mention a dog, whiskey or pickup truck, right,
so you know it's fake.
It's not real country.
Well, it's literally aboutGodbold I mean I could or pickup
truck, right, so you know it'sfake, it's not real country.
Tim (56:37):
Well, it's a Like it's
literally about Godbold.
Kevin Tyrone (56:39):
I mean I could add
those lyrics in there, but
that's pretty, that's kind ofneat man On the fly just, but
it's also creepy it is creepy.
Tim (56:47):
It is creepy I've got so
many different songs.
Happens if you eat Taco Bell.
Chad (56:59):
Let's not.
Tim (56:59):
Let's just not.
I'm a group chat.
Javier (57:00):
TZ says sounds like
country singer Chaz McCoy new
hit.
Tim (57:04):

Guess this is my fate, far offthe map?
Forget my name.
Wanna hide my face in thedarkest place.
Wish I had amnesia, amnesia.
(01:00:42):
Wish I had amnesia.
I'm lonely with these thoughtsinside my head.
(01:01:04):
Remember what we broke and whatI said.
And since I'm speaking honestly, you say you wanted honesty,
but you ain't respect my privacy.
I know the way that things wentdown.
Just wasn't right.
