Matielyn is here to talk about her journey as a candidate for the Georgia State Senate (District 45) and her tips for other Black women candidates.  Throughout the episode, Matielyn discusses her experience as a Field Organizer for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, how she helped flip North Carolina during the 2008 presidential race, her reflections on the siege on the US Capitol building, the Georgia runoffs, and the fundraising shift the pandemic has created.
