When Kian was just six years old, his 16-year-old cousin died in her sleep of a rare — yet treatable — genetic disease. 15 years later, he set out to build a product that could have saved her life –– and can prevent the millions of deaths caused by genetic diseases each year.
Kian believes we live in an era where medicine is becoming medicine data science. Opening access to more health data for more people gives each of us the power to safeguard our well-being, heal chronic diseases, and participate in our own healthcare.
