This question haunted me, rocking my baby back to sleep. As a parent, you experience so many stages of uncertainty. There’s this constant feeling of “am I doing this right?” and “how much longer will this last?” It’s easy to get lost in the day-to-day and wonder if it will ever stop, if there’s a point when you can sit back and say, “Okay, I’ve done my part.”
