In Episode 12 of The Jukebox Graduate, Dave and Eugene run through the news of the first couple of months of the year. The prattling pair briefly go over Dave’s trip to NAMM. Eugene complains about the film Bohemian Rhapsody and that begets a discussion about Rock ‘n’ Roll and movies, and the glory of the Monkees. Then, they interview Brad Sample and talk about his upcoming album, Rhinestones and Broken Bones. Brad had a hiccup releasing his album and that leads us to the recent news about Ryan Adams. The age old art-versus-artist discussion ensues and... well the guys just don’t have the answer. And finally we hear about the new music that is flipping the Graduates’ lids. Throughout the show we hear from Queen, the Monkees, the Cactus Blossoms, Ted Russell Kamp, Brad Sample, Ryan Adams, Phoebe Bridgers, Pedro the Lion, Gary Clark Jr. and the Kinks.
