Sam Sumpter - Writer, Editor and Host of Bands Do Bk - a broadcast program where she interviews artists and musicians about their recommendations for the best spots for entertainment and dining in Brooklyn, joins host of The Junk and Jam Hour Christopher Albert at the Radio Free Brooklyn studio for an impromptu interview herself. While Sam admittedly was vehemently grossed out by the opening Not-So-Fake-Really-Weird-News story of the day, about a Japanese man who made an engagement ring out of his own nail clippings, she still soldiered on, and courageously opened up about her journey here. On topic was her love for writing, her journalistic studies, the amazing opportunity she feels she's been afforded to meet people and tell their stories, as well as being sincerely grateful for the overwhelming support and comradery she has received form other artists since making her way to the Big Apple from Austin Texas. Sam also joins in for a fun little 20-Questions game with Alexa - which Alexa failed miserably at since she unfortunately could not guess the correct secret celebrity Sam plucked for our enjoyment.
