Microphone (Camo) & C (00:01):
Everyone.
So on today's episode.
President Donald Trump has onlybeen in office for five days and
he has signed some executiveorders that are just.
Very extreme, but we knew thiswas going to happen when he said
it on the campaign trails.
And project 2025.
Was actually published somethingthat we've warned a lot of
(00:24):
people about.
And people just took it as ajoke or like now he's not going
to do that.
Well, now he is.
With his first five days inoffice, he hasn't signed one
executive order.
That's when a lower the cost ofgas.
Make building houses easier.
He has signed executive orders.
(00:44):
That have literally been dividedthe country even more than
what's already divided.
So here in today's episode,we're going to talk about some
of those.
Executive orders that he signed.
And we're also going to talkabout executive orders and
essentially how they're kind ofuseless.
Until I do go through Congress, but on a more exciting and
(01:04):
positive note.
This is the first episode ofseason two of the last
conversation.
And I can't wait.
To keep going and podcasts andwith you guys for this entire
four years, because let me tellyou, he's going to do a lot of
dumb shit and we're running totalk about it.
So without further ado, let'sget to our intro.
(01:25):
I'll see you guys in a few.
Bye.
Microphone (Camo) & Camo-4 (01:32):
so
before I begin this episode, I
want to take just a quick.
Five minutes.
That's it.
Just give me five minutes ofyour time to explain where I've
been for the last severalmonths.
Starting now.
So as most of you guys know Iwas a huge.
Fan of.
(01:53):
Then vice president, KamalaHarris running for president
United States.
I not only was because she was awoman, but she was a woman of
color.
And I felt that her ideas wasactually something that most of
us millennial, gen Z youngergenerations could honestly get
behind.
Especially because she was a lotyounger than president Donald
Trump.
Right.
After the election.
(02:14):
I went into, I became anelection to direct.
I didn't know.
All right.
Am I going to storm a federalbuilding or am I going to storm
to bully?
I'm like over here late.
I think I'll storm AAA instead.
Which is why my points became4,000 points.
That's besides the point.
So I became an election denierand.
(02:35):
I wasn't out here spewing lies.
I wasn't saying that theelection was rigged.
I was honestly generally likeconfused on where the American
public was at the time ofvoting.
Because we said, we weren'tlooking back at a person who is
a convicted felon.
Who just spewed hate, whodivided our country in those
(02:57):
four years that he was inoffice.
He allowed people who did havehate and who are racist against
people who look differently thanthem to come out of the closet.
Essentially.
And show their true colors,right?
We knew that this man did notcare about the middle-class.
Right.
(03:18):
And I became a denier because itwas like, there was no way the
American people could be thisstupid.
Right.
And I'm not saying for any ofyou guys who voted for Harris or
you voted for a third party.
I'm not saying that you'restupid, but people who voted for
Trump.
I'm calling you stupid because Iwatched his campaigns.
I watched those rallies and whatI took away from it was an old
(03:42):
man who grabbed about the goodold days.
Right.
I didn't feel as though he wastalking about.
Me.
Right.
When I watched those rallies, Ididn't feel that.
And I didn't understand howother Americans could talk
about, could say that they did, because he didn't talk about
lowering gas prices.
He didn't talk about making surethat, Hey, we need more building
(04:03):
materials to build more housesbecause we have a housing
shortage, right.
He didn't talk about, you know,he talked about immigration
about deep mass deportations, but he didn't talk about making
people who were here.
And making sure we focus on ourfederal you know, court systems
that get people processed sothey can become, you know,
permanent resident to finallyget into the workforce.
(04:25):
And maybe start building thosehouses that we are.
We're lacking or the, you know,Plantation filter, whatever the
case may be.
And I just didn't understand it.
He didn't talk about women'sreproductive rights.
He didn't talk about protectingthem.
He didn't do any of that.
He didn't talk about thenecessities, that average
(04:48):
middle-class people.
Talk about.
You know, I've taught, I did atake talk earlier.
Way before.
And I had said most of you aremiddle class.
You know, America only has abouttwo to 3% rich people.
So if you don't make.
Over$300,000.
You're poor, just like the restof us.
(05:10):
And yet the tax cut isn't forus, the tax hubs, where those
people who are making all those, all the money.
So all the actors andcelebrities that are up there
making all these, all thismoney, right.
Very good in the tax.
Cut.
But us.
Smaller people who support thoseactors and creators.
(05:30):
And, you know, we you'll seetheir movies and whatnot.
We don't get that tax break.
That just means our taxes arehigher.
Right.
And so I became an, a denierbecause I didn't understand
that.
And I still don't write.
I still don't understand how wegot to this point, how we could
say yes, we want.
(05:50):
To turn the page on Donald Trumpand yet.
We just went back in the bookand flip the pages back again.
So I'm running out of timebecause I'm at 31 seconds now.
So I became an election denier.
I couldn't understand it.
And now we're here.
We have four years of this guy.
Who in the first five days?
(06:13):
Has yet to make an executiveorder about you.
The egg prices are still$4.
Gas is still, I mean, it's notrelatively high, but it's, it's
at a decent price, but mygroceries are still expensive.
My rent is still outrageous.
I still can't buy a house, whichhouses are now almost 400 over
(06:35):
$400,000.
Right.
But what he has said is, oh, I'mgoing to put tariffs on things
that are important to us.
So those, the wood, the buildingmaterials that we need for
houses, let's go ahead and put a25% tariffs on that.
For all of us who like, youknow, tacos and we like
(06:55):
avocados, tomatoes and stuff.
That's imported from Mexico.
Let's go ahead and put a 25%tariffs on that.
Anything from China.
Which is majority of everything.
Right.
Is going to get higher and moreexpensive for you for your
everyday costs.
So, if you thought those groceryprices were high now, so I'm at
a stump anyways, my five minutesis up.
(07:17):
We'll be right back.
Cause we're going to talk aboutsome of these executive orders
that he signed.
that aren't helping you.
Be right back.
Microphone (Camo) & Camo (07:24):
Before
we dive into.
His executive orders.
Right.
I want to talk about what anexecutive order is for some of
you, you, you may know, and someof you may just not know at all.
If I can compare it tosomething, executive orders are
like things that you put in yourAmazon wishlist.
(07:45):
Okay.
Now we know a lot of us have alot of things in our wishlist.
That's exactly what a executiveorder is.
It's a wishlist item that youjust put on the side.
Executive orders aren't theydon't go effectively in fat.
Yeah, they don't go in effectimmediately.
(08:07):
So.
That's what an executive orderis.
It's like a wishlist item.
Now when you take that wishlistitem and you move it to your
cart, and we're going to saythat.
That the cart is like Congress, right?
Congress has to obviously gothrough what this executive
order is.
Has to get passed in the house,go through the Senate.
And then as Amazon, you checkout, right, and your item gets
(08:28):
shipped to you.
When I get shipped we're on ariffer being shipped to you.
It gets sent to the presencedeaths, and he signs off on it.
Right.
And it's now federal law, right?
That's exactly how an executiveorder is.
It's like a wishlist item.
It's not it's, it's justsomething that he did.
Right.
(08:49):
So far he assigned, I believethey said he signed about almost
30, three of them.
In five days.
But.
I take it.
He's going to be signing evenmore in the Mo in the coming
weeks and months.
Right.
So some of the things that hehas, you know, done so far he
(09:10):
has released files about JFK andthe MLK assassinations.
I personally didn't know thiswas going to be on his agenda to
release it.
Buddy did.
Also this past Thursday, hepardoned 23 anti-abortion
activists a day before headdressed by a video link, the
annual March for life event.
(09:30):
And he signed more executiveorders, including one to support
cryptocurrency.
His use of executive orders, both swift and abroad carry the
weight of law.
But can be more easilyoverturned, some face legal
challenges.
So let me give you a summaryabout what his executive orders
have been.
So we know that he has beentargeting immigration like that
(09:54):
is his platform.
One of the executive orders iscalled repel and remove.
So after his initial flurry ofexecutive orders, Trump issued
another demanding that thegovernment suspends the physical
entry of aliens engaged in aninvasion of the United States.
Through the Southern borders.
(10:14):
It's called for officials toimmediately repel.
And remove those individuals.
He also went on to sign anational emergency.
Trump has proclaimed thatAmerican sovereignty is on their
attack.
Declaring this to be a nationalemergency that allows him to
free up more funding toreinforce the border with
(10:36):
Mexico.
The same directive tellsofficials to relaunch efforts to
build a border wall with Mexicothat was started under his first
presidency.
This is not executive order andit's unclear how such efforts
might be funded.
Or assign max, go said, fuckyou, second time.
It's a woman.
And she's really going to say, fuck you now.
He went over to closing theborder prison has told the
(10:59):
military to seal the border sideand the flow of illicit drugs,
human smuggling and crimes arerelated to crossing.
Here's one of the biggest topicsright now is birthright
citizenship.
I don't know if I'm going tohave enough time to really talk
about birthright citizen, atleast on this episode, but I can
(11:20):
guarantee you.
Our next episode, we'll talkabout birth rate system
citizenship.
But.
Trump has ordered the officialsdeny the right to citizenship,
to children of migrants, eitherin the us illegally or on
temporary visas.
But the 14th amendment to theconstitution has long been
(11:41):
interpreted to enshrine that.
Right.
And Trump's orders wasimmediately challenged in
federal court.
Judge block Trump's plan to endus citizenship.
Or birthright citizenship.
And said this.
It was unconstitutional.
Terrorism designation for gangsand cartels.
Trump has designated drugcartels.
(12:02):
And international gains as aforeign terrorist organization.
Adding the likes of Certaingains like M M S 13.
To include the list ofso-called.
Islamic state.
He also issued another one inremain in Mexico and no more
catch and release.
Trump has reimplemented hisremain in Mexico policy from his
(12:24):
first term.
This.
Return.
About 70,000 Nannette skinasylum seekers across the border
to await hearing before beingcanceled.
By president Joe Biden.
The same order, demanding theend of catch and release policy
that allow migrants to live inus communities.
(12:44):
While they await their hearing.
From Pez previously promised thelargest deportation program in
American history, but this couldface legal and logistic
challenges.
The order also shuts down amajor Biden error and migration
pipeline, a sponsorshipinitiative that allows up to
30,000 migrants from Cuba,Haiti.
(13:04):
And then Suela to fly to the U Sit has been designed to cut.
Illegal crossing is cut thatdown.
He's got that.
He also signed another executiveexecutive order on the death
penalty for more, for somemigrants or immigrant crimes
that should say.
Trump has ordered that federaldeath penalty be reinstated at
(13:25):
secure.
have not happened in recentyears.
It would apply to any capitalcrime committed by an alien
illegally present in thecountry.
And anyone that convicted ofmurdering a law enforcement
officer.
He also goes on to refugeesettlement.
Trump has suspended the U S refurefugee resettlement program.
(13:47):
Although details remain unclearon a helmet and.
Again, as you know, Trumpdoesn't believe in climate
change, he thinks it's all afarce.
So here's what he did aboutthat.
He pulled us out of the Parisagreement again.
Remember, we were in it whenBiden first got elected.
Which he had to get back in itbecause Trump pulled us out of
(14:08):
it anyways.
Trump has signed off onwithdrawing from the Paris
climate agreement, the landmarkinternational deal to limit
rising global temperatures.
You will have to wait a yearbefore that happens.
He previously with the drew in2017, before Biden re entered.
He also issued another one onenergy emergency.
Trump has declared a nationalenergy emergency.
(14:30):
Prom scene the fill up or oilreserves in his inaugural
address.
He vowed to drill baby drill.
For more fossil fuel.
Alaskans fuel.
He signed an executive ordertitled unleashing Alaska's
extraordinary resourcepotential, pledging to unlock
oil, gas, and other nationalresources from the state.
(14:51):
Fun fact, if you go to Alaskaand live there, they have no.
State tax or.
I think it's income tax too.
Because they drill and they haveenough money that they don't
need the tax from that.
So.
Cool.
Anyways.
And he also put an end to thegreen new deal from has halted
(15:14):
the green new deal, a series ofBiden measures that were aimed
at boost stream.
Green jobs regulating the fossilfuel industry and limiting
pollution.
He has ordered the agencies, thehalt funds appropriate through
two laws, the inflationreduction act and another law on
infrastructure in jobs.
He said to us with N Lee seentwo wind farms and revolt what
(15:34):
he calls an electric vehiclemandate.
Trump vows to leave the Parisclimate agreement.
And drill baby drill.
He also took us out of the worldhealth organization.
This the world, or also known aswho really kind of like oversees
and makes sure that we don'thave like another pandemic like
(15:56):
we did before.
They do a lot of things thatdeal with.
Health overall.
Trump has signed an executiveorder to begin the process of
what the drawing of the U S fromthe U N health body, the world
health organization also knownas who this marks, the second
time trunk has Trump has orderedthe U S to be pulled from who?
After Biden reentered.
It.
(16:17):
He was critical of how theGeneva based institution
handled.
COVID-19.
He also said another reason whyhe wanted to withdraw out of
Uber out of who.
Was because he felt that.
America or the United States wasputting too much money in and
not enough countries wereputting enough money.
He said we were doing way toomuch.
(16:39):
And he didn't like it.
So probably I would say it'smore.
He might stay in it.
He might not, but it would bemore like a.
Like renegotiation, it's almostlike how he did with NATO.
Like he says that we were payingtoo much for NATO.
We were paying over our part andother countries.
Weren't so.
Luckily, he hasn't talked aboutNATO, but.
(17:00):
You know, we're going on weektwo, who knows?
As far as diversity in gender.
You know, Republicans, people,if you don't look like a white
CIS men, Yeah.
Not, not for you.
So let's go on first.
First, I want you guys to guessI'm going to, we're going to
take like two seconds.
(17:22):
Guess who are those people on?
This list is I'll give you asecond.
Trans.
Yup.
Yup.
I'm trans community.
I mean, Republicans have to havean enemy.
That's the only way that theycan boost their platform.
Right.
Right.
They don't boost their platformby saying they're helping
(17:44):
Americans.
Now.
They are.
They want.
Enemies.
So they can go around and spewand be like, it's the trans it's
the trans it's the trans or it'sit's DEI.
Like DEI has become an enemy ofthat.
Remember, remember, woke isstill an enemy to.
So like all these diff likethey, they rather have an enemy
(18:06):
because that's the only waythey're going to get fuel and to
fuel people to really.
Really put a separation.
Like that's how you startsplitting people away is you
create an enemy.
Right.
And you say how bad this enemyreally is.
(18:26):
And so now DEI is on there, right?
DEI is not an enemy and I am notgoing to do it in this episode
because I can surely go on forawhile.
And we'll probably do that inthe next episode, but DEI.
Has been a huge issue.
And if you don't know what DEImeans, it means neither
diversity, equality andinclusion.
Okay.
(18:47):
As I said, if you are not awhite CIS man, DEI is you.
If you are a white woman, youare the I as well.
Cause last time I checked.
You didn't have voting rightsabout.
60 70 years ago.
FYI.
Anyway, so.
Transgender people.
Trump has declared that the uswill only recognize two sexes.
(19:09):
He said this at his inaugurationspeech, male and female.
The sexes are not changeable andare grounded in the fundamental
and in.
Convertible reality.
It is Expected to affect thetransgender policies.
Relating to governmentcommunication, civil rights,
protection, federal funding, aswell as prisons.
(19:30):
It will affect officialdocuments like passports and
visas.
In the same executive order.
Trump ended all governmentprograms, policies, and
statements, and communicationsthat promote it and support it.
Gender identity.
The new secretary of state MarcoRubio from Florida has.
Told his staff that if there areany visas that come across with
(19:51):
an X under gender, I believeit's non-binary.
Yeah, you're just not getting apassport.
Because there was only twogenders according.
To this administration, that'sthe rule.
So if you're looking for apassport.
And you're a part of ourtransgender community or your
non-binary.
(20:13):
I would kind of hold off on apassport for probably the next
four years.
Cause he ain't get no.
Anyways, moving on DEI.
As I said on Tuesday evening, amemo.
Followed by another executiveorder.
Shut down all the offices ofdiversity equality.
Or equity, you can say, andinclusion programs within the
(20:33):
federal government.
With immediate effect, but giventhem until five o'clock Eastern
time on Wednesday to comply.
The day before, after being notre inaugurated Trump had halted
all such programs, labeling themas radical and wasteful.
The administration has alsopromised further actions that
(20:54):
may affect the private sector aswell.
And as I said, we'll probably doanother episode all on DEI and
why these big companies likeWalmart.
And maybe even target on thatlist are kind of pulling back
from the eye because they feel.
As though this nextadministration is going to have
a lot of repercussions forpromoting it only in companies
(21:16):
so far that is still standingpretty strong.
Publicly is Costco.
Costco is we don't fucking care.
Anyways and.
Take talk, went dark this pastweekend and like, Tell you.
It was the worst.
Okay.
So and a lot of people felt itand then, I mean, it wasn't even
(21:38):
shut down for a whole day.
Like it was literally shut downovernight.
And by late the next evening itwas up and running.
I mean, it was taking a prettyslow sweet time, but anyways and
now people are like, oh my gosh,I'm seeing 10 times.
Trump did not save Tik TOK.
Trump put Tik TOK in this veryspot because when he, in his
(21:59):
first four years, he had put TikTOK on notice.
Biden just carried it out.
Did it.
And then now we have it.
And obviously my thought processis that he is the one who
started the process and now hecame back to be like, oh guys,
I'm captain save a ho.
Like I saved him.
(22:19):
When he really didn't do shit.
Right.
And.
Even that it's its own episodebecause it's like, Congress
didn't give any type ofspecifics about why it's such a
national security issue.
Which a lot of take top readers, even myself had ass.
What's this national securityissue, right?
(22:41):
Oh, well, we feel as thoughChina may take information and
use it and all this, and it'slike, well, do you have any
examples?
Has this happened?
Right?
Because you could say that aboutanything.
Right.
We have Germany who created.
Zoom it's either zoom or it'steams.
They could, they could take ourinformation, you know, how many
important.
(23:02):
Meetings.
I worked for an insurancecompany now.
Do you know how many importanttraining meetings happen over
zoom and another country hasaccess to that.
Right?
And if you think.
Over other countries are athreat.
Have you met Americans yet?
Some of the, some of the world'sgreatest hackers live in our
(23:22):
country.
Who can easily take whateverthey want.
Right.
And then you have Americansgoing over to red dot or red
book, whatever the hell it'scalled.
That that now that's primarilyall China, Aaron, like nothing.
No, you know, us servers, anything like that, or Timo.
Like, I think we're pretty goodon.
(23:46):
National security.
Anyways.
Trump has signed the aiddirective per postponing.
A 75 day.
The implications of a law thatwould ban Chinese owned app take
talk in the United States.
The platform I had briefly beenshut down the day before the
inauguration to comply with thelaw, which demands that a new
(24:09):
American owner can be found.
From formerly back the tip topband, but it indicated he
revived scores or reversescores.
Of his campaign videos attractbillions of views.
Asked what the action does afterhe signed it.
He said gives them the right tosell or close it.
(24:31):
And let's keep going on.
He also went on to get inpardons out.
Now, here is where a lot ofpeople are mainly common sense.
People are like, why would youdo that?
So the 2021 capital riot, hepardoned 102 stormed.
The us Capitol.
Trump announced he issue pardonsfor nearly 1,600 people of his
(24:52):
supporters who were arrested atthe right of the capital in
2021.
Trump has reportedly referringto those arrested in the riot as
hostages.
And at least 600 were chargedwith assaulting.
Or impeding federal officers.
Now.
600 or charged with assaulting.\How light, I mean, Matty willing
(25:18):
to touch that one.
He also commuting sentences foroath keepers and the proud boys.
Do your research on what thoseare.
Trump also community sentencesfor the members of the oath
keepers, the proud boysfar-right group who were
convicted of sedation conspiracyin relation to the riot.
A lawyer for the former proudboy leader, Harry who was jailed
(25:41):
for 22 years for stationconspiracy said his client also
expected to be released.
He also did some other pardons,so he did some anti-abortion
activists, 23 people describedby the white house as peaceful,
peaceful pro-life protestors.
We're pardoned by Trump.
10 of them were prosecuted underthe Biden administration for
black and the board.
(26:01):
The abortion clinic inWashington, DC in 2020.
He also did the silk road.
Trump said that he signed a fullunconditional pardon for Ross.
They creator of the silk road, adark web marketplace where
illegal drugs were sold.
Ross was convicted in 2015 inNew York, in a narcotics and
money laundering, conspiracy andsentenced to life in prison.
(26:25):
But Trump Joel Haynes, thelibertarians in claiming the
conviction was an example ofgovernment overreach.
He also goes into, this is verylong.
That's why we're going to keepgoing.
We're doing government reform.
So dog and Elan must Trump signa directive grade in the
department of governmentefficiency dog.
(26:45):
A new adversary.
Body on cutting governmentcosts.
It's expected to be led by ElonMusk.
Who Trump separately said thathe would get an office for about
20 employees.
He did put a freeze on hiringfederal hiring.
I should say another order haltsany new federal hiring, except
(27:06):
within us military and severalother categories until the Trump
administration has full controlover the government.
But our employees returning theoffice, he said, you guys are no
longer working from home.
You're coming back to theoffice.
He also did censorship anotherdirective for the restored
version of freedom of speech.
And preventing governmentcensorship.
It directs the attorney generalto investigate the activities of
(27:29):
officials at certain agencies, such as department of justice,
securities, and exchangecommission, and the federal
trade commission during theBiden error.
He also signed another one thattalked about political
prosecutions and other executiveorders seats to end the
weaponization of governmentagainst political adversaries.
It mandates a review of the workof various law enforcement and
(27:50):
intelligence agencies underBiden to identify any instances
of alleged weaponization andthen recommend the appropriate
ramification actions.
He also goes on to, wow.
I did not think this was goingto be that long.
Obviously what he did when, after he took over for, after he
(28:12):
took over after Obama.
Repealing pretty much everythingthat you did.
Same thing, Biden left office.
Now he's repealing everything.
First one was the Americanfirst.
Trump announced that he ispausing foreign aid outlining
that he wants to review theforeign assistance.
Programs.
Caroline Leavitt, the whitehouse press cert.
Press secretary said this waspart of a new American first
(28:35):
foreign policy.
You also have Israeli settlersanctions.
Trump rescinded sanctions thatBiden began in posing on
extremists Israeli settlers, andseller groups in the occupied
west bank nearly one year ago.
The last administrationexecutive order had targeted
Israelis who were underminingpeace, security, and stability
(28:58):
in the west bank.
And response to a surge ofattacks on Palatine Palestinians
and the properties and theterritory.
Cuba.
Trump wants to undo Biden'srecent decision to remove Cuba
from the U S list of statesponsors of terrorism's.
He could also reinstatesanctions for Venezuela.
Both countries have frequenttarget for his era, doing the
(29:21):
first administration.
There's also a regulatory freezeand other order directs federal
agencies to refrain refrain fromissuing any new.
Regulations until the Trumpadministration has full control
on vaccinated, federal workers,as part of the directive re
revising by an error policies.
Trump revert to mandate thatfederal workers must be
vaccinated with COVID.
(29:42):
Vaccine.
He has promised to reinstate 88,sorry, 8,000 military service
members who were discharged dueto the Pentagon's pulled it
mandate.
Those military members wouldalso get.
Pay as well.
So when it focuses on theeconomy, he wants to tackle
inflation as well.
(30:03):
You signed a directive askingevery us federal department and
agency to address the cost ofliving.
The directive, which is not anexecutive order as agencies to
look at lowering cost of housingand healthcare and key household
items, groceries and fuels.
Now you're probably will.
Stefan didn't you say he didn'tsign an executive order for us?
Yeah, that.
(30:23):
Not really for us.
It asks for a report in 30 days.
It's not clear how the Trumpadministration intends to lower
these costs and it's notdetailed in the directive as
well.
He also wants to focus onartificial intelligence.
Trump has signed a directivepoly and the remover.
Removing barriers to Americanleadership in artificial
intelligence.
(30:43):
Looking at making USB globalleader in AI.
The order revert, sir, theorder.
Revolts certain extent existingAI policies and director of the
Trump said it had been acting asbarriers.
The executive order aligns withTrump recent announcements of
Stargate, a propose 500 billionproduct aimed at creating
(31:05):
massive IOD.
Ay.
Ay.
Our AI, sorry, data centers inthe United States.
Science and technology, theStewart.
Director establishes the whitehouse calls, the president's
council of advisors on scienceand technology.
The group will consist of nomore than 24 members, including.
I'm an assistant to thepresident.
(31:27):
For science and technology is aspecial advisor for AI and
crypto.
Your Google will be tasked inadvising Trump on science and
tech matters to inform policydecisions.
And harness the full power ofAmerican innovation.
Digital finance, financialtechnology.
He also signed secret documents.
He also released, as I said forpresent John F.
(31:49):
Kennedy.
And Martin Luther king to.
And as always, he wants torename the Gulf of Mexico to the
golf America and Alaska's Mountden I from his director, the
secretary of interior to changethe name of the golf.
Of Mexico to the Gulf America.
Same order also directs thesecretary to rename Alaska's Mt.
(32:12):
Dan I to the Mount of McKenleyin honor of the Americans, 24 20
fifth present.
Who's tariff policies, trumpet,Meyers, present.
Barack Obama changed the namefrom McKenney to deny to reflect
what north America's highestpeak was called by the NEDA.
Tribes.
(32:33):
You also gave the recognition tothe Lumbee tribe.
Got a recommendation of theLumbee tribe of North Carolina.
Trump has signed a directly ofsupporting full federal
recognized.
Recommendation of the Lumbeetribe.
A group of more than five 50,5,000 native Americans who
mostly live in North Carolina.
Country.
But a recommendation of a nativetribe brains with it, legal
(32:55):
rights and government benefitssuch as healthcare and housing
grants.
All right.
That one's good.
But what he has not acted on istariffs.
As I said, tariffs is one ofthose things where.
If.
If it goes through a make.
Things a lot expensive for us.
(33:15):
So yes, you, he may have donethe what's that.
But let's look back.
At tackling inflation.
But tackling inflation and thenputting tariffs on where we get
materials and food from.
Kind of contradicts the point.
Because we get OU from Mexico,we get.
You know, food from Canada orwhatever the case may be.
(33:39):
So.
Yeah.
Those are the tariffs that he,or I wouldn't say tariffs, those
are the executive orders that Ijust right there.
It's a very long list.
Right.
And I just read through all ofthem.
We're at about 28 minutes of mereading through all that.
(33:59):
We're not done.
We're not done at all.
We're just pushing week one byweek two, he could sign another
1220 executive orders that hebelieves.
Is helping the American peoplewhen in all actual.
When all actuality, it's reallyjust helping you Republican
(34:20):
party, right?
As I said, executive orders arelike wishlist items.
They have to obviously gothrough Congress.
They're also going to bechallenged by other states.
Federal judges.
Adversary groups they're goingto be challenged, right?
So you just have to keep youreye out and keep listening, be
aware, right?
These next four years is goingto be a very, very challenging
(34:44):
time for us here as Americanpeople.
Because for the people whodidn't vote for him, like myself
and some of the guys who arelistening to this episode, It's
going to be rough, but.
I believe that as long as wejust, we, we honestly, and
something that AOC says a lot isthat Democrats need to.
(35:04):
Stop trying to play the nicebite.
And what I mean about that isthat.
Democrats need to start playingdirty as well.
Like we need to get our hands inthe mud and start playing on the
same level they are.
And I know you're probably willStefan doesn't it seem a little
petty, like.
No, it's not, it seems exactlyright.
(35:25):
We need to start calling theseRepublicans out for the bullshit
that they are putting up.
Call them out because they'renot trying to help the American
people whatsoever.
All they've done is truly dividewhat America stands for.
Especially when we talk aboutDEI D E I is essentially what
America is.
We are.
(35:46):
A country of immigrants.
That's what makes us one of thegreatest countries on this
planet, because we have amelting pot of people in
different ideas, right?
And.
When we attack DEI, we'reattacking that foundation.
Right.
And yes, Republicans are like,oh, well it should go on merit.
(36:07):
You understand, and for all mypeople of color out there, let
me, let me just tell you merit.
Doesn't get us.
Anyway.
Right, right.
Because what happens is that thebar could be set here, right?
The white.
Men.
Set the bar here.
So then we meet.
(36:27):
We are never going to be equal.
The bar is never going to be setwhere it's like, this is the
bar.
They're going to raise it bysomething else.
So D I was kind of like thatboost of, okay, this is, this is
what we need, right.
It's not about, oh, well wehired you because you're black.
Now we hired you because itgives you a fair shot at getting
(36:49):
a job that you want.
Because as I said, they set astandard and they move that
standard up.
When someone who does not looklike them, trying to get the
job.
Right.
No matter how much education Ican get onto my belt.
Um, my bachelor's degree willprobably never be enough for
certain jobs.
Just because the way I look.
(37:11):
So the war on the GI.
Do your research into it, right?
This is for you to feel includedin your workplace.
Remember it's diversity.
As.
Former first lady, MichelleObama said that white house was
built by black slaves.
Right.
(37:31):
You have a diversity equality,right.
And I don't want to get on atangent, but for my white women,
that includes you.
You may be like, oh, well I donethe mat.
No, that includes you.
Equality equity inclusion, making sure everyone has a voice
at that table.
Right.
(37:54):
When you get hired at a job, youwant to see people who look like
you.
You don't want to work in aplace that does not look like
you because they won'tunderstand how it feels to walk
in your shoes.
I say the exact same thing whenI find.
Young people of color going intolaw enforcement, buying an
agency that looks like you.
(38:16):
Because if they don't look likeyou, they don't know the
struggle of being a coloredperson in America.
Microphone (Camo) & Camo- (38:23):
We're
at 41 minutes.
So we're gonna wrap up the show.
First off, I want to say thankyou all for listening to the
show for season two of the firstepisode, I really just want it
to kind of set the tone of howwe're going to be going about
this Trump administration.
(38:43):
Which is very hard.
Because.
For the next four years.
We're just going to have tojust, I don't even know, like
it's, it's going to be somethingthat is going to be a challenge
for the American people.
On that note, we're going to bechanging some things here at the
last conversation.
As I said, we are a podcast,but.
(39:04):
We're diving into some videogames.
We're going to be doing ourdebut of our video game on
February 4th, when we havekingdom come deliverance to
which is going to be dropped onFebruary 4th.
So that's what we will bestreaming.
We'll be streaming it on Twitchand take top.
But we're also going to still bebringing episodes to you right
(39:25):
here.
I'm going to try and get backmore into it regularly.
I, like I said, I stopped.
And then it was more just like, how can we jump back in?
So our next episode, I will bedoing some more research into
birthright citizenship, but Iwill also be keeping track of
more of these executive ordersthat president Donald Trump is
trying to.
(39:47):
