lot of noise inside people'sears.
Jesus Christ.
And now I am not struggling withit.

From email cupcake.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM2 (02:19):
You're
guilty.
You're guilty.
Everybody's guilty.
Whoa.
Guilty guilty, guilty.
That's what most of us werecheering.
When we heard the verdict thatDonald Trump was guilty of 30.
Four counts.
Business fraud because he paidstormy Daniels.
(02:39):
The.
Sex worker.
With the campaign money insteadof his own personal money.
And then.
Did all this stuff to cover itup because he felt that it would
ruin his chances of becomingpresident.
I mean, once he said, grab themby the beep.
I thought that would probablyhave to ruin his chances of
being present, but it didn't, orwhen he said that black people,
(03:03):
you don't really have any otherchoice.
I thought that would probablywant his chances.
So, I mean, paying off a sexworker.
It's, it's not that big of adeal.
So we'll definitely want to talkabout that.
'cause I know some of youdefinitely have questions about
yes, he still can be presentfrom prison.
(03:24):
It would look a little weird atthe oval office.
Is inside of like D block, butyou know, we're, we're living in
times where things are just.
They're just historic at everysingle moment.
That's just what it is.
Hunter Biden went to court todayand somewhat publicans have
(03:44):
actually been saying that thejustice system.
Just doesn't favor Republicans, but it favors Democrats.
So we'll talk about that.
The airmen who was killed in themotel a couple of weeks ago.
B sheriff deputy.
That shot him.
Has now been fired from theSheriff's office.
(04:06):
I normally don't talk about lawenforcement on the show related
to light things that happen.
But.
Times are changing.
So I will give my 2 cents andmove on from that.
We have a new segment that I amjust introducing in this show.
It's more just to get morepeople to listen.
(04:26):
I want to make the show not onlyabout politics, but I also want
to make it about relationships.
I want to have some fun with it.
So then that way it's not likeit's not like government class
where it's just like, you'rejust going to sit there at the
boring.
I also want to add some more funaspects to it.
So we're going to talk about.
Northwest is performance on the30th anniversary of lion king.
(04:50):
Now it's been talked about allovertake talk.
I told myself I was not going totalk about it, but then I did
Lyft a couple days ago.
And my passenger had asked meabout it and I was like, all
right, well now we're definitelygoing to talk about it.
And then because it's pridemonth, happy pride month to all
(05:11):
my queer people out there.
Whoop.
We are going to also introducea, another segment that we're
going to be doing is called am Ithe asshole?
And this one comes from a 30year old woman who says, is she
an asshole for leaving herhusband?
Because he just came out asbisexual.
So all those amazing topicsright here.
(05:33):
On the last conversation.
Now, if you're just listening tothe podcast and you want to skip
through to the certain sectionsI talked about, don't worry.
The chapters will be down belowfor you to select them.
Until then.
Let's get started.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) (05:48):
So
Donald Trump.
A former president of the UnitedStates is now.
A convicted felon.
34 felony charges.
For falsifying business records.
Brought the formal presence weeklong trial to a close.
(06:09):
But ushered in a new phase ofhistoric cases now.
Let's also mention that when hegot convicted, he raised the
most money.
He has ever raised when it cameout.
So like, I the more bad shitthis guy does, the more funding
(06:32):
he gets, which.
It astounds me like 34 countsand he's raised so much more
money.
He's raised more off of thisguilty verdict.
Then off his sneakers that hecame out with or the Bibles that
he users that he's sellingcurrently.
So it's, it's unique in thattype of aspect.
(06:52):
But I also think that.
And my personal opinion, I wouldbe like, well, then maybe we
should go ahead and continuewith the other court cases
because you know, we're justgetting through them and he's
making money off of them, butobviously that's not going to
happen.
Anyways.
Let's go into B article of whatit says.
So it says now in this uniqueposition of being the first.
(07:14):
But I'm all United Statesconvicted of a felony.
Trump faces the possibility of aprison sentence or probation for
his crimes stemming from thehush money payment scheme.
He helped facilitate ahead ofthe 2016 presidential election.
Trump who is known for mountinglengthy appeals of court rulings
(07:35):
against him.
Has said that he will appeal theconviction, which can be done
after he's been sentenced.
When will his sentence happened?
Judge Julian merchant.
Has set Trump's sentence for10:00 AM.
July 11th.
Judge.
Julian could sentence Trump.
(07:55):
To probation or up to four yearsfor each count.
In state prison with a maximumof 20 years.
So something that I don't knowif you guys saw the article that
came out, but secret service wasactually looking at the prison
that he would possibly go to, tofigure out how they're going to
do everything.
(08:16):
Because as I said, he is, he maynot be president anymore, but
he's still like a protectee.
So for now, the formerpresidents will remain out of
prison.
As he awaits for sentencing.
Prosecutors did not ask for timeto post any type of bond.
He can appeal his conviction, but it's only going to happen
after he's been sentenced.
(08:37):
Not before.
And as we know, appeals willtake a while.
To happen, especially dependingon how many other appeals are
working on.
Trump has consistently appealedcourt cases against him in the
effort to delay the prosecution.
Or eventually land his casebefore the court that may side
with him, the New York case isno different shortly after Trump
(08:58):
was convicted.
His attorney Todd Blanche'sasked judge Julian.
For an acquittal for thecharges, not with standing the
guilty verdict, the charge.
Reject to Peapro form orrequest.
During the course of the childTrump's legal team took other
steps to preserve its right toappeal.
A potential guilty verdictlooking at rulings from the
(09:22):
judge on testimony and evidence.
They're all, but certain toMount such an appeal in the
coming weeks.
Can Trump still be electedpresident?
Yes.
Our founding fathers didn't.
Probably didn't foresee apresident being convicted of a
crime.
Right.
Or they probably saw like howNixon did with, you know, you,
(09:46):
he resigned.
He was like, ah, before theseterminals get to me and let me
go ahead and just leave.
Right.
So university of California, LosAngeles law professor Richard
Hanson, one of the country'sleading experts in election law
has consistently said thatnothing the United States
current constitution.
Bar's a convicted criminal fromrunning for the nation's highest
(10:09):
office.
He goes on to say that legally, nothing changes with Trump's
status as a candidate.
The constitution contains onlylimited qualifications for
running for office.
One of those is being a beam 35years old.
To a natural born citizen.
So that means born here in thecountry.
(10:29):
And at least 14 years as aresident of the United States,
that's it?
It doesn't save it.
You can't be convicted as afelon.
You can't have a misdemeanor.
None of that.
Right.
So additionally states cannotdisqualify Trump for running due
to his efforts to overturn the20, 20 election due to the
(10:49):
Supreme court ruling earlierthis year, Henson said, and they
cannot add qualifications suchas removing.
Convicted felon off of thebalance.
Essentially, there's nothingthat can be done.
Like Supreme court already madethe ruling about the, you know,
insurrection.
You can't try and add aqualification such as convicted
(11:10):
felon.
Like it's just not going towork.
Will the conviction costs Trump, his right to vote?
Though Trump as a Floridaresident is subject to the
state's.
Decorum rules.
Disenfranchising certain peoplewith felony convictions, he may
ultimately benefit.
From how legislature in New Yorkin 2021 made it easier for
(11:33):
felons to regain the right tovote.
When it comes to Manhattan, guilty verdict, just render
Trump's right to vote inFlorida.
November election will depend onwhether he is sentenced to a
term in prison.
And if he has finished servingthat prison sentence by the time
of the election.
So essentially.
(11:53):
If he is sentenced to prison, Hecan't vote.
But it also has to like thatprison sentence has to, and by
the time of the election, whichthey're not going to sentence
him.
So what five months in jail, itwould, it would be probably
longer than that.
It'd be like couple years.
But as I said, the judge canalso do with probation too.
(12:16):
Florida bans, felons from votinguntil they have completed the
full terms of their sentence, including any supervisor
released.
So that means probation.
And until they have paid anyassociated fines and fees.
That latter requirement was thesubject of litigation after
Florida's GOP led legislaturepass legislation that would
undermine.
(12:38):
A state's constitutionalamendment, allowing people with
felon.
Felony convictions regain theright to vote.
Florida's felon voting.
prohibitions apply that peoplewithout a state convictions as
well.
However, if a Florida convictionis out of state, Florida
differs.
To the state's law of how felonscan regain the right to vote.
(12:59):
So because he was convicted inNew York.
Florida we'll look to new York'sfelon voting, right.
In New York, thanks to eight.
2020.
2021 law.
People with felony convictionregain the right to vote.
Once they finish their term ofincarceration, even if they are
still subject to parole.
That means Trump would only bedenied to right.
(13:20):
To vote in Florida.
If he is serving a prisonsentence for the Manhattan
conviction at the time of theelection.
It's probably not going tohappen.
So for all of his other criminalcases, Trump's conviction means
little for his three othercriminal cases, which will
continue to proceed as they wereprior to him being found guilty
(13:42):
in New York.
Trump's federal electionsubversion criminal case has
been on hold since the usSupreme court considers his
claim as for presidentialimmunity.
The judge overseeing hisclassified documents case in
Florida has indefinitelypostponed the trial and Georgia
election interference case is inlegal limbo while Trump in.
(14:03):
Several of his pull defendants, try to disqualify the Atlanta
area prosecutor who brought thecharges.
We'll all this magically workout for him by November.
Possibly, we probably will notsee another criminal case score
but I don't think anyone's goingto try and go through a criminal
case with a sitting president.
Like it's possible.
(14:24):
I don't think it's going to besomething that they do..
They're still trying with theAtlanta prosecutor.
They tried to get her off thecase because they said that she
had a personal personal affairwith one of the people who was
on the team.
That didn't work.
The judge threw it out.
And now they're trying to gothrough several other different
ways of getting her off thecase.
(14:45):
Supreme court is stillconsidering whether or not he
actually has presidentialimmunity.
With, oh, you played that in thelast episode with the judges
asking.
So essentially the president, ifit's an official order, So he
could essentially take out hispolitical opponent.
But he has presidentialimmunity.
So.
There's there's all that.
(15:05):
None of the bills, three caseswill be done or even started by
the time November hits.
So we got one done.
He's a convicted felon.
It's done.
It's all.
Let's move on.
I'm tired of talking about Trumpnow.
Next thing we're going to talkabout.
Is Republicans feel as thoughthe justice system leans heavily
(15:27):
toward Democrat and not towardRepublicans.
Why do they feel that way?
You know, most Republicans nowfeel like everything again is
against them.
Even though they come out withthe most outrageous laws or they
try and get rid of DEI, which isdiversity, equality and
inclusion.
But they feel like the justicesystem is just strongly against
(15:50):
them.
And it's because of Joe Biden.
It's his justice system in..
Let's talk about it.
So
Republicans are feeling as
though.
They.
Or just being targeted.
By the justice system.
Like it's just not fair.
It's not fair.
Trump was convicted those NewYork jury that.
(16:13):
That's honestly what they'redoing.
They're just being a bunch ofcrybabies.
About something that we knewthat was going to happen, like.
It's it's a crime, like for somereason, Republicans believe that
crimes.
If, if a Republican commits acrime.
It shouldn't affect them.
They should be able to just getaway with it.
And the only people who shouldbe convicted with crimes are.
(16:35):
The Democrats.
Wayne.
They get, they should get all inthe trouble.
And Republicans are like, no,yeah, I know he shot this
person, but he's a Republican.
The court system.
It just doesn't like repo.
That's not true.
Like the justice system works.
It doesn't work for blackpeople, but it works.
(16:57):
So let's go into this articlereally quick so we can move on
to the.
Next one.
So last week, president JoeBiden was defending the justice
system as a cornerstone ofsociety.
He says it's dangerous.
It's irresponsible for anyone tosave it.
This was rape just because theydon't like the verdict.
Biden said at the white houseafter Republicans tried to
(17:19):
undercut the process that led toformer president Donald Trump's
conviction in New York.
So this week.
The president will have toremember those words while his
son hunter Biden faces federalgun charges on a trial in
Delaware.
The first of two separate casesthis year, that led to gel time.
(17:39):
The Biden family must befrustrated that a plea deal fell
apart last year when it wasrejected by the Trump appointed
judge in the case.
Plus these particular guncharges are rarely prosecuted on
their own.
Perhaps evidence of the enhancedscrutiny placed on the present
side.
He did have a deal and becauseRepublicans had put up such a
(18:00):
fight, mainly Congress.
Has said it's not fair.
He shouldn't be able to do this.
The deal fell apart and now it'sbeing.
Tri by a Trump appointed judge, which obviously, you know what
side he's going to lean to.
He's not going to be biased, buthe is biased.
So we'll see how it all turnsout.
But we have to understand theseare two different trials.
(18:23):
Okay.
So hunter Biden's gun trial isbarely different than Donald
Trump's hush money trial.
Even if they both come to comein an election year, Feature the
public airing of a painfulpersonal details, and
essentially boiled down toallegations of lying on
paperwork.
Trump had to endure the detailpublic testimony.
(18:44):
Stormy Daniels, the adult filmactress.
Who have latched an affair withTrump almost 20 years ago.
Hunter Biden will have to endurea public recount of his affair
with his brother.
Beau's widow.
There are tortured.
Text messages and his drugaddiction.
But Trump's legal problems, allresolve around his own campaigns
(19:05):
and actions during hispresidency.
Trump was found guilty offalsifying business records to
hide hush money payments meantto cover up his alleged affair.
From voters in 2016.
He also faces federal chartersof mishandling classified
information in Florida andtrying to overturn the 20, 20
election in Washington, DC.
As well as Georgia.
(19:27):
Hunter Biden thesis trial inDelaware starting this week for
lying.
On a firearm backgroundapplication.
He checked the box that said,no, he was not abusing or
addicted.
To to drugs.
He also faced trial inCalifornia later this year for
tax evasion.
David Wise, the Trump appointedspecial counsel prosecuting the
(19:48):
case has never made allegationsto tie hunter Biden's tax
problems to his father.
Although Republicans on Capitolhill have tried unsuccessfully
to connect the dots.
They had a whole group and itwas just finding, trying to find
evidence that did not exist oftrying to link.
Hunter Biden and Joe Biden.
(20:09):
You probably seen it.
It was all over CNN of thewhole, like they were asking
different people.
Did you find evidence?
And the people were like, no, wedidn't find the evidence.
So you didn't find any evidence.
And he's like, no, like therewas no evidence that linked Joe
Biden, the hunter Biden.
About any of the business dealsthat he did overseas, all that
other stuff, right.
The department of justice endsup prosecuting similar numbers
(20:33):
of Democrat and Republicanlawmakers.
In New York this week, forinstance.
The bribery trial of New JerseyDemocrat, Senator Bob Mendez,
his state corruption trial inrecent years is underway.
Trump may ultimately avoidfederal prosecution.
There is very real possibilitythat Trump while found guilty in
New York courtroom will faceneither set of the federal
(20:56):
charges brought against him byspecial counsel Jack Smith.
Before election day.
So that's how the cases aredifferent.
Okay.
So they're not the same.
Republicans are alleging thatthere was bias in the.
In the justice systemaltogether.
But while Joe Biden's son andthe senior Senator from New
Jersey are both a major legalpayroll.
(21:18):
It's quickly becoming an articleof faith among Republicans, that
they are targeted.
Species.
By the justice system.
It goes on to say that whatpeople are seeing now is that
they can't trust.
Our justice, our judicialsystem, Republican national
committee.
Co-chair lower Trump's obviouslyit's tr it's.
(21:40):
Laura Trump she's a Trump,obviously like she's going to
say that goes on to say that thejustice system hurts.
Republicans while protectingDemocrats.
Tim Scott.
I have a recording that I wantto share with you guys at the
very end of this podcast of TimScott.
I won't get into it now.
But I have some words.
(22:01):
For that.
Lint licker at the end of this.
Remind me at the end.
Okay.
So that's what he said.
Appearing on NBC's meet thepress, Senator Tom cotton.
Arkansas.
Took the conspiracy theorizemuch further arguing that the
department of justice is onlyprosecuting Mendez.
(22:22):
And separately RepublicanHenry's seller of Texas, who was
also charged with briberybecause they have been critical
of the Biden on foreignrelations and immigration
policy.
And allegation of which there'sno evidence.
Cotton predicted Biden wouldultimately pardon his son.
The white house has said, thereis, there will be no puns for
(22:42):
hunter Biden.
Even Republicans who opposeTrump during the 2024 primary
season are critical of Trump'sNew York conviction.
New Hampshire, governor Chris.
SUNY new.
Complained that Trump will facesentencings days before the
Republican national.
Invention in Milwaukee.
That is a terrible idea.
(23:03):
He said that's going to donothing, but Raul, everybody up.
It's going to look even morepolitical than it is now, and
just cast the shadow of doubt onthe entire case.
The irony here is that Trump's2020.
Actually did pressure thedepartment of justice to
investigate hunter Biden.
It also pushed Ukraine'sgovernment to open an
(23:24):
investigation.
Hoping to tie hunter Biden'swork.
Or a Ukraine national gascompany to his father.
In 2016, Trump supporters wouldlaunch into lock her up.
Channing targeted HillaryClinton behavior.
Trump encouraged at the time, even though the FBI in some
form, then.
(23:45):
James call me announced beforethe election.
There was not strong enough.
Case the prosecutor Clinton overher private email server.
Trump said on Fox news over theweekend that if elected again,
he might feel differently aboutpushing for charges against
when.
They all said, lock her up, butI felt I could have done it, but
(24:06):
I thought it would have been aterrible thing.
And then this happens to me.
So I may feel differently aboutit.
And then Democrats say thatthey're not going to try and do
anything toward hunter Biden'scase.
Donut spec, Democrats to showthe same level of support for
hunter Biden.
The Republicans have shown forTrump.
(24:26):
Represent Jamie Raskin ofMaryland top 10.
I'm the house oversightcommittee promised Democrats
would respect the process.
As it plays out of the presentsun.
And our grads are not out there.
The same at hunter Biden.
This trial is a farce.
It's a fraud.
It's rigged.
We're not attacking the justicesystem.
So they're trying to play.
(24:46):
The hero or I would say they'retrying to play the card of, Hey,
we're not going to do the samestuff that the Republicans are
doing.
Because that's what they evenmade the comment on.
Right.
They were like, well, why areyou doing all this?
Like, you can't sit here.
I don't, I don't even know whatwords to even use.
Like.
(25:07):
We have a justice system, butthen Republicans attack the
justice system, which means thatsociety will, or the American
people.
You all look at the justicesystem and be like, oh, maybe it
is rape.
Maybe it is fraud.
Like.
Why are they coming after himand all this other stuff?
Because it doesn't work out intheir favor.
That's why they're attacking it.
(25:27):
But I bet you.
I bet you$5 that if they saidthat he was innocent, the
Republicans would be like, oh myGod, we love our justice system.
Well, the justice system knewthis was wrong.
But they said he was guilty.
And it was of his peers.
So it's like, you can't get madat the justice system because
his peers.
(25:48):
Right because that's what thejury did.
The defense could have easily, you know, defense worked with
prosecutor with the prosecutornow.
To pick the juries that theywant it right.
And so just because it doesn'twork out for you doesn't mean
that the justice system is rightnow.
I'm not saying the justicesystem is perfect because it's
not, it's definitely.
(26:11):
Does not play fair when it comesto the melanated community.
Whether that's black, whetherthat's Hispanic community.
You know, our population is alot bigger in the jails and
prisons.
So I'm not going to say thatit's completely fair because
it's not.
But.
And you can't, you can't sithere and tell the American
(26:33):
people it's not fair.
Just because it doesn't work outin your favor.
Okay.
And then you have.
You know, Speaker Mike Johnson.
Who sat here and went to thetrial.
Stood outside.
Like you are third in command.
If anything happens to thepresident United States.
You should not be down there atall, but you are right because
(26:56):
all the Republicans who want tobe reelected.
Are playing this trump isinnocent.
You know, I like Trump becausethey want to be reelected.
Go ahead.
Have a Republican.
Liz Cheney.
When against Trump.
They threw her out of Congress.
Right.
She's been very vocal about itthat he would not be, he's not a
(27:19):
good fit.
Look at what's happening toRepublicans who are like, they
don't like Trump is a menace.
You know, whatever other wordshe shouldn't be.
President United States.
It doesn't work out well forthem.
So everyone is trying to be.
Captain or I wouldn't even saycat.
It's more just like let's suckup the Trump.
Okay.
(27:40):
So you're saying the justicesystem has raped.
All this other crap that they'resaying.
So.
Just because the system doesn'twork for you doesn't mean it's
rig.
Let me rephrase that.
The justice system is not fair.
Okay.
It's fair.
But the certain groups.
(28:01):
Okay.
To certain groups, the justicesystem is fair to my melanated
people.
It's not fair.
Look it up, you see the stats, you see our prison sentences.
You see that we're easily moregoing to get time in jail, then
probation.
That's that's honestly how thisworks out.
(28:23):
Anyways.
So our next one.
As I said, I don't usually talkabout.
Police stories.
But this one I did want to talkabout because interesting
enough.
One of the drivers we werecoming back from.
We were coming back from ElPaso, Texas.
And I usually don't mind talkingabout police things or talk
(28:45):
about.
Politics.
Truly don't.
But she brought this story up.
We'll be right back.
So we can talk about this storytoo.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) & (28:53):
A
while ago.
Couple of weeks ago.
The news story of the.
Airmen who was shot in hisapartment by the Florida
sheriff.
They released the body cam.
I'm not going to show it onhere.
You can look at, I think it'sprobably on Tik TOK.
Or you can go on CNN.
And look it up yourself.
Cause it's something to watch.
(29:15):
So B Florida sheriff department.
Actually.
Fire at deputy.
And here's why.
The Florida Sheriff's deputywho.
Who fatally shot a black Elmanin his home has been fired.
The decision followed aninternal investigation into the
former deputy Eddie.
During this is the first timeduring the identity.
(29:37):
Has been publicly disclosedsince the shooting earlier this
month.
A separate criminalinvestigation.
So the deputy's action isongoing with the Florida
department of law enforcement.
FDL.
The administrative investigationdetermine the deputy's use of
deadly force was not objectivelyreasonable and therefore
violated agency's policy.
That's what.
(29:57):
The county sheriff officestated.
The deputy responded on May 3rdto an apartment after receiving
a call for a disturbance inprogress.
Sheriff Eric Anand said in aprevious statement, according to
the internal investigation.
A woman at the complex, told thedeputy about a disturbance at
par at apartment 1401.
(30:18):
She said was getting out ofhand.
Body cam for the show shortlyafter Rogers.
Opened the door.
Of the apartment that deputy andthe video says, step back before
filing his weapon.
Roger was standing in thedoorway of his, with his hands
down and a firearm in his righthand.
Five shots can be heard on thefootage.
(30:40):
Roger was pronounced dead at thehospital.
And an interview withinvestigators during the deputy.
Claim.
Roger's arm was slightly canted, meaning not straight down.
He described it as being in amanner so that his arm is not,
it was.
It's slightly up.
But.
(31:01):
The investigation deemedotherwise, according to the
statement released by theinternal affairs investigation,
the firearm was pointed at theground sniffing pulley.
Significantly enough for theformer deputy to clearly see the
rear face of the rear sight of.
Of the gun.
(31:21):
The investigation concluded thatMr.
Roger did not point the gun atthe farm or deputies direction.
They go on to say this tragicincident should have never
occurred.
Aiden said on a Friday releasethe objective fat.
Do not support the use of deadlyforce as an appropriate response
to Mr.
Rogers actions.
Mr.
(31:41):
Roger did not commit a crime byall accounts.
He was exceptional airmen and anindividual.
The attorney for Roger's family.
Said they were pleased with thefiring of the deputy.
They were calling for more to bedone and a statement of CNN on
Friday, attorney Ben Crump saidthe actions of this deputy were
not just negligence.
(32:01):
They were criminal.
While the criminal investigationis still ongoing.
We fully anticipate the chargesto be filed against the officer.
The video footage providesdamning proof.
This was a brutal and senselesskilling of a young man who was
simply enjoying the time alonewith his dog, while video
chatting with his girlfriend.
(32:22):
Crump and Roger's familybelieved that law enforcement
responded to the wrongapartment.
Aaron was on the phone with hisgirlfriend leading up to the
shooting and was alone.
There was no physicalaltercation happening within his
apartment.
Internal investigations appearedto show during the day the
sheriff, the deputy.
Was told to go to.
(32:42):
Roger's apartment by someonefrom the apartment complex.
Microphone (Realtek(R) Aud (32:46):
Aye.
Watch the video.
And.
It's like a scary movie for meat this point.
I think.
All body cam videos are like.
A scary movie, cause you neverknow what's truly going to
(33:07):
happen.
In a sense of.
Uncertainty.
One thing that I do want to sayupfront is that.
Law enforcement.
Is a very.
Hard.
An unknowing career.
If I can put it lightly becauseI don't want to scare anyone
(33:28):
away from joining it.
But I also want to be a realistwith you and let you know that,
you know, you're putting yourlife on the line for complete
strangers every day.
You know, One thing when I wasin the motto was.
Walk out of the door, walkedback in the seat.
(33:50):
When you leave home.
With that being said, Thissituation could have gone.
Many different ways.
And.
Most agencies and most academieswould probably look at this
video.
And they will Monday quarterbackit, which means they will look
(34:11):
at this video.
And find out what went right.
What went wrong?
What can be changed?
And that's what we're hoping asa community.
We're hoping that every timethat we have one of these.
Godly.
Fatal shootings.
We learn from them.
But no matter.
How much.
(34:33):
Training.
You may think.
You need their situations.
Where that training willliterally go out of the window
and it's going to be.
Fight or flight.
At that moment.
For this situation.
Airman Rogers lost his life.
(34:55):
And he shouldn't have lost hislife.
And it's tragic.
And my deepest condolences forhis family.
And I hope they.
Get the justice that theydeserve.
And I hope that.
As a community, we heal.
And we.
(35:17):
And we move on.
I also want to thank thesheriffs.
Office.
For being very transparent andreleasing the body cam, I think
after George Floyd's death.
And other black lives beingtaken.
Releasing that body cam.
So then we're all on the samepage, even though we all have
(35:39):
questions.
Releasing that body cam meansthat we're all on the same page
this is where we're all startingat.
And then the investigationstarts.
I think that's just somethingthat.
We're going to have to keepdoing.
To make sure that the communityunderstands, Hey, we're.
We're wondering what happened aswell.
Microphone Array (Intelr Smar (36:01):
I
will say this one, last thing.
And that is.
For the deputy.
No matter.
If he gets charged criminally.
Or if he gets sued civilly.
He will never.
(36:22):
Forget that he took someone'slife.
And it wasn't justified.
He can forget about the courtcases being sued.
But that's something he's goingto have to live with.
For the rest of his life.
Man.
I hate.
Ending on such a.
Sad slash salad.
(36:44):
So we're not.
Northwest performed at the 30th.
Anniversary of the wine key andthe Hollywood.
And it was terrible.
Yeah, it's still funny.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM (37:02):
welcome
back.
If you hadn't heard.
Which I don't know how you cannot have heard.
If you haven't heard.
Northwest.
Performance at the.
Hollywood ball 30th anniversaryfor the lion king.
The celebrate the line.
(37:23):
All right.
If you haven't heard it, I wantyou to just listen.
And then we will talk about it,but just, just listen.
That's it.
I'm not playing anymore of it.
People have been.
Ooh.
I mean, Talk about.
(37:44):
Ripping someone, a new one.
I've watched that video.
I've watched.
One of the directors or castingpeople, he did a video on Tik
TOK that talked about how shewas picked or whatever people
are calling her nipple, baby.
So here's my thought.
(38:04):
I thought her part was terrible.
Okay.
I feel as though.
Someone else could have did it.
Now I have seen a lion king onBroadway.
1 2, 3, 5 times.
Okay.
The last time I seen it.
Was on Broadway.
So I went to New York for workand I seen the lion king on
Broadway.
(38:24):
There are so many other childrenwho could have played Simba.
And could have some better.
I'm not blaming Northwest.
I am blaming her parents.
That shows that money buys.
Stuff.
There is no way that she shouldhave been on that stage.
(38:47):
Now, if she was performing forlike middle school or in like a
kids play.
Do it, this is the 30thanniversary of lion king.
They brought.
The original voices of lion kingto this event, people pay.
Thousand.
Depending on your seat.
(39:09):
Of dollars.
Why would you put this child inthat type of.
Predicament.
As I said, I think she did aphenomenal job in her own mind.
But to the public.
Got like you could have takenone of the kids off Broadway and
put them in, but.
The real conversation is thather parents did this.
(39:31):
Her parents was like, oh, wellwe want our child to do that.
Maybe they paid a certain amountof money.
I heard it was her.
Agent who was like veryinsistent on saying.
You know, This is what it is.
Let me show you what this girlwore.
Which also kind of pissed me offtoo, because I was like, what
the likely.
So, this is what she wore.
(39:52):
I don't know if you can seethat.
She looked like.
Big bird had.
Chick.
And that's what it was.
I was like, she doesn't evenresemble Simba.
But then like the zebra nextdoor, it looks like a zebra.
They could have painted her upto make it look like she was on
light Broadway.
(40:12):
I didn't like it.
I would have probably asked forlike a partial refund, to be
honest with you.
I, and I was talking and it's soironic.
I even talk about this.
Cause I was talking about itwith one of my Lyft writers and
she was like, oh, well, what doyou think?
I was like, I think it was aterrible thing.
Like.
I think that her parents justhad money.
And put her on this and they'reover.
You can see them in thebackground, light, shearing and
(40:34):
whatnot, like.
What the hell like everybodyelse's.
You know, I kind of would'vefelt like disappointed.
Like if I was on that stagedoing performance, I would have
been like, I worked my ass offto get here and this little
child just has rich high profileparents.
And that's how she got the part.
Like, you can watch the entirevideo she's over here saying
(40:55):
everybody looked left.
She's still looking in themiddle.
Everybody look right.
She's still looking at another.
What, what is this?
Did, did we not practice?
Did we not do our Hersel?
What was it?
It was absolutely terrible.
I would have definitely askedfor a partial refund light that
(41:17):
would have been a waste of mytime.
I think during her performance,I would have probably went to
the bathroom.
That's just how I feltpersonally.
And I love lion king.
I grew up online Katelyn.
I can quote the entire movieone, two, and one and a half.
I can.
I know every single one of thesongs from one, two and one and
a half.
So I would have been greatlydisappointed.
As a lion king fanatic.
(41:38):
To see that type of performance.
Because it was just.
Terrible.
Terrible.
Anyways.
Let's move on to one of ourother girls spill the tea.
And you guys know I'm not a hugefan of Senator Tim Scott.
I think he is.
(41:59):
He's one of those, like, Blackpeople who want to be white,
essentially.
Right.
And he was on the news.
And.
Just, just listen to it.
I can't bring myself to try andexplain.
How you would think someone whois intelligent, you know, One to
(42:20):
be present United States.
Can't simply.
Say one thing, take lessons.
I'm not going to make it anissue.
Will you commit to accepting theelection results of 2024 bottom
line.
At the end of the day.
The 47th president UnitedStates.
President Donald Trump.
(42:40):
I'm excited to get back to lowinflation, low unemployment.
Wait, wait, Senator yes or no.
Yes or no.
Will you accept the electionresults of 20, 24?
No matter who wins?
That is my statement.
But, but is it just yes or no?
Will you accept the electionresults of 2024?
I look forward to presidentTrump being the 47th president.
(43:03):
Interested.
And you could ask him multipletimes.
Just a yes or no answer.
So the American people.
The American people will makethe decision, but I don't hear
you committing.
President Trump.
That's that clear?
I don't hear you.
The election result.
Will you commit to accept?
So many.
This is why so many Americansbelieve that NBC is an extension
of the Democrat party at the endof the day.
(43:25):
I've said what I've said, and Iknow that the American people,
their voices will be heard.
And I believe that presidentTrump will be our next
president.
It's that simple.
But senators, you know, thehallmark of our democracy is
that both candidates agree to apeaceful transfer of power.
So I'm asking you as a potentialVP nominee, will you accept to
(43:46):
commit to the election resultsin this election cycle?
No matter who wins?
Just simply yes or no.
I spoke for them.
I expect president Trump to winthe next election.
I'm not going to ask you toanswer your hypothetical
question.
When in fact, I believe theAmerican people are speaking
today on the results of theelection and the continued.
If it continues for the next sixmonths, we find ourselves in a
(44:07):
great position where we get backto another century of American
prosperity.
Yeah.
I'm looking forward to that.
All right.
So that was.
Lit liquor.
That's his new name now on thispodcast.
The lint licker.
Tim Scott.
Six times.
That's why I was holding up allmy fingers.
(44:28):
On one hand, six times.
You heard it yourself, but.
He wasn't going to accept theelection results.
He was like, well, I lookforward to Trump.
Been president.
That's not the fucking question.
The question is if he doesn'twin, will you accept the result?
Well, I don't, I don't reallyknow about that.
I mean, you know, I, I will seeyou that Trump will be.
(44:51):
Person again.
But Senator.
When it happens and he loses, are you going to kick.
all the American people.
They they have already decidedwe, we are seeing the results.
So we will be seeing Trump aspresent.
Listen to here.
You linked liquor.
(45:13):
Ass kicker, orange sniffer.
Senator.
What is wrong with you?
Like.
I don't understand why youcouldn't say yes, I will accept.
The election results.
But now.
Lint licker wants to kiss asmuch Trump as, as possible
(45:34):
because Trump is consideringhim.
As AVP nominee.
And I'm just like, I don'tunderstand.
Like I had little respect forhim.
But now I just don't like, Idon't have any respect for them.
Like.
That lint licker.
It's just, I, I just don'tunderstand, like, as simple as
(45:56):
yes.
And now he's still like, whoa.
He, you know, he will be our,our next person.
I look forward to it.
You lent liquor.
Like.
Anyways.
Also before we wrap this sectionup and we move on to our last
section, cause we're running outof time desperately.
(46:17):
Nikki Haley said that she willvote for Trump.
Yeah.
Let that sink in after all theshit that she was talking about
saying that he's this he's thatand NA.
Ah, she came out a couple ofweeks ago and said that she will
be voting for Trump.
I don't know if her supportersare going to light that
decision.
(46:38):
I mean, may, probably wouldn'thave liked if she said she was
voting for Joe Biden.
I have her.
So I guess that everybody in theRepublican party wants to be
asked kisser best friends withTrump because they know.
If they don't say his name andsay he, they support him,
whatever election cycle thatthey're running for.
(46:59):
They're probably not going towin.
It's ironic that I say thatbecause as I was driving my bus
through one of the towns here, our elections here in Arizona
are starting to kick off.
And one of the billboards said,Trump endorsed not as lay out.
Well, there goes another asskicker.
Anyways, we'll be right backwith, am I an asshole?
(47:19):
Our last section of podcast.
Microphone (MAONO AU-A (47:22):
Alright.
So we are back with our verylast.
Segments.
Called am I the asshole?
And.
Because this is pride month.
Happy prior to all my queerpeople.
You're always accepted righthere on my podcast.
In this am I asshole?
(47:42):
This lady we're going to callher.
Juliet.
Okay.
So that's the name that we'regoing to make up for?
So here's what Juliet said twodays ago.
Juliet says my husband came outas bisexual.
I am a 36 year old female.
I've been married to my husband37 for over 15 years.
He recently came out as bisexualto me.
(48:04):
And I feel like my world iscrumbling.
We've had our ups and downs overthe years with many things, but
the truth that have.
Come out.
With this have devastated me.
He's had sexual relations withmen behind my back.
He wants to stay together, butto be allowed to see men on the
(48:27):
side or me be involved too.
Am I crazy to say absolutelynot.
He's blamed past issues on hisbehavior now and tries to
justify what he's done.
He said he's been this way sincehis late teens.
And we've been dating back then.
(48:47):
I had no idea.
I feel like our whole life wasalive.
We have children together and Ican't imagine a life in which
I'm happy in this situation, butI also don't want to tear apart
our home.
I feel so incredibly stuck.
Please.
Help.
(49:08):
Damn your husband wants hiscake.
And he wants to eat it too.
Okay.
Like, aye.
Let's go to some of the commentsand then we'll wrap this up.
So one comment said that he'sthe asshole and you leave
immediately.
It's completely okay for him tobe bisexual, but he cheated on
(49:29):
you period.
Point blank, regardless ofgender.
He put your health at risk byhaving multiple undisclosed
partners while sleeping withyou.
And it sounds like it could beduring your pregnancy.
If he started as a team, I'msorry, you're dealing with this,
but you deserve better.
(49:50):
What do you guys think if.
When I post this on Instagram orwherever the hell I posted,
what, what do you think that sheshould do?
Here's my advice to you, Juliet.
Right.
Now, and I, I mean that in themost sincere way, like I don't,
unless you truly want to try andwork it out, but as one of the
(50:11):
first comments that we ride, like, if you're in a
relationship.
And you're having sex with otherpeople.
The main thing that comes to myhead is health.
Right.
You don't know what all theseother people have.
And then you are essentiallybringing that back to your
partner at home.
(50:32):
That's the issue with cheating?
Obviously the trust, the line.
All that.
And then when you add in afamily, so if you have children,
if you have a house together, your bank accounts, all this
other stuff comes up and nowyou're thinking, what the hell
do I do?
And some people do stay becausethere's just too much in
tangled.
(50:52):
To try and just rip it off andstart over.
Right.
But as I say, you always have tolook out for yourself.
maKe sure that you are happy, even if you don't want to get
divorced.
Right.
If you want to be separated.
And in that time of you beingseparated, you're talking.
But.
Divorce is also good, but like Isaid, it depends on how much he
(51:13):
got tangled up.
And then you've been with thepersons for 15 years, which
obviously means if you've beenlike this, since you were a
teen, you probably should have.
Thought about that decisionbefore, right?
So anyways.
That is, am I an asshole andJuliet?
You are non Masshole.
I think he's the asshole.
You're not the asshole.
When we come back, we're goingto finish up with finishing
(51:34):
thoughts.
And we're gonna wrap thispodcast.
We'll be right back.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) (51:38):
All
right.
So we are finishing up thispodcast with final thoughts.
I'm actually just going to likesit back.
cause I'm like, I'm tired.
Anyway, so first off, I want tothink every one for listening to
the podcast, I love it.
Second thing is, I'm sorry if Igo ghost.
Every now and again, buthonestly I work like I have to
(52:00):
work.
Because if I don't, I will behomeless.
All right.
So I work.
And I try and get these episodesout as fast as quick as I can,
but when you're tired, you'rejust, you're not doing anything.
All right.
But one thing I do want tocomment on is that.
I looked at our numbers.
I'm seeing that a lot of youdon't either listen through
(52:21):
apple or Spotify.
So those are probably the twoonly platforms that you can
like.
Show your love and appreciate,right?
Buzzsprout just they justimplemented.
Fan mail.
So at the top of all of ourepisodes, when you go into the
description, it's going to say, text me.
Or it might say like, Send me areview or rate or talk to me.
(52:47):
If you click that link and youfill out the little form with
your phone number, you canactually send in fan mail.
I encourage you.
Whether you like the show, whether you dislike the show,
whether you like a segment oryou didn't like a segment, or

I want you to click on that.
(53:08):
And send the text.
Okay.
It's free to do.
It sends a text directly.
It sends a text email to me.
Because I want to hear from you.
Like I've, that's been mybiggest goal of doing this
podcast and I think that'ssomething in like the podcast
community.
We have a lot of issues with istrying to hear back from you.
(53:28):
I want to hear from you, youlisten to the show.
I want to drop more.
More people into the show, whichis why we did the new segments.
The.
You know, it's homework timegirl spill that T and M I have a
asshole.
Those are three new sections.
And we're just trying them out.
(53:49):
We can always try things.
Publish it let it flow.
See if people like it.
All right.
Besides that.
I love you all.
Happy pride.
we'll be doing some pridestories.
Hopefully.
This month as well.
And just be kind, be different.
Be smart.
(54:10):
You know, treat everyone thatyou want to be treated because.
This world will honestly nottreat you the way that you want.
So I want you to remember that.
I also want you to remember thatlove is love.
As I said before, we're in 2024.
Who gives a flying F.
(54:33):
What we do, as long as you'reout there being safe and
healthy.
Who cares?
It's pride month.
Let's celebrate.
Go to a drag show, go to a gaybar.
It doesn't matter where yourshirts.
You know where your pins.
Do you booboo?
Anyways, I'll see you guys arenext week.
(54:55):
Peace out.
