Reflection When Jesus spoke tohis disciples in John fourteen,

he was preparing them for hisdeparture.
Imagine their fear anduncertainty, and yet he offers
them peace.
Not just any peace, but hispeace, a peace that isn't
fleeting or shallow like theworld's, but deep and enduring.
And then Paul, writing fromprison, assures us that God's

peace will guard us, our heartsand our minds.
It's a peace that doesn't alwaysmake logical sense, but it
